I just thought of this but I’m pretty sure I also made a similar prompt on my old blog, but Danny as a payback for all the shit Vlad has done to him, makes it seem like Dani is their biological child and he’s a deadbeat.

This backfires spectacularly because Danny forgets that he’s not very forthcoming with information on ghosts to the JL so they believe he’s actually a 14 yr old, a mature one but a 14 yr old nonetheless.

Really it’s more of an inside joke that got out of hand, as Vlad started to be less of a fruitloop. After Vlad got help on his obsession (turns out having an unhealthy obsession is actually really unhealthy for a ghost) he started to mend what little relationship he had with Dani. And as her other biological parent, Vlad also started mending their relationship.

Ofc with Sam and Tucker they gave him the thought that since Danny took care of Dani while Vlad was being insane, he should be getting “child support for the years he was being a deadbeat”.

Danny lorded this over Vlad for years, a joke that never fails to make Vlad angry. Danny had some brain cells to realize that it would look real weird to outsiders but he always could just pass it off as ghost shit. JL were not convinced, and after replaying everything Danny has said about Vlad, had incriminated him even more in the eyes of the JL.

While Danny went to have a dinner with Vlad and Dani (as per their agreement, as Dani wants both of her family to sit down with her) (they both don’t really mind but each dinner usually ends before a fight can break out) he gets stopped by a JL member, asking him to follow them to a meeting room.

Danny’s met with an intervention, where the JL want him to understand healthy relationships and that he shouldn’t be with a man who’s hurt him before. Danny is absolutely horrified and at the same time laughing so hard he goes intangible.

There is very little that someone can do to shock Chrollo. But...this. This does it. A soulmate? No. He is incapable of a love like this. How does he, of all people, have a soulmate? He thought that it was for the select people who wanted love, who sought it out. Has he ever pondered something like this before? Yes, but that was it. A flimsy thought before.....this.

The paper in his hands from Neon's ability that he stole...how? He had to be reading too much into this. He was well known for reading into things much more than necessary.

Humans are curios creatures by nature. They are afraid of the unknown. Which is why they crave answers. To prepare themselves for a haunting truth. But sometimes, reality is stranger than fiction.

Which is exactly why the fortune he wrote out to plan ahead for the next step of his life shocked him. No warnings about a chain user, nothing about a clown. But... someone else. But no amount of warning could have prepared him for this astonishing news he held in his very hands.

'The night rises and falls. A spider and raven meet at last. Both curious of one another, The Spider's head ponders raven's past.'

...Was he really to love someone? When? Where? How? Truthfully, Chrollo did not take himself as someone to love. Someone who could love. And this raven...would they accept him as he is? His true self, whoever that is, as the Spider's head?

The raven...

He felt his lips quirk up slightly. A part of him wants to avoid this person. After all, this is someone who he would love, given he meets them. He knows his line of work would be dangerous. Then again, would he really fall for someone who couldn't protect themself? He thinks not.

Why fight it? If fate has set for him to have a lover, who was he to deny it? It's not something he could control.

A heavy gust of wind blows the paper out of his hands. Rather than holding onto it, he lets it flow with the wind. He inhales deeply, enjoying the cool, crisp air brought by the gale. He looks up at the night sky, stars shining brightly beside the full moon. Trees sway, creating a peaceful ambiance. The park bench he sits on is cold from the nightly temperatures. He closes his eyes and listens....then he hears it.

The crow of a raven. He opens his eyes and sees a hooded figure in all black walk past along the concrete path. How did he not hear her footsteps? No doubt, she was someone special. Chrollo was an observant man. He knew exactly who this was.

The raven...

The spider quietly rises from his seat and approaches the walking hooded figure. "What brings you to this place at a time like this?" He inquires.

"I have my reasons. I'm pretty sure you do, too. Go about your night as I will mine." She says coldly. There was no emotion to her voice.

"Do you believe in fate?" He asks suddenly. "...Why are you asking me? Don't you have places to be?" She spoke with an icy tone, yet again. She whipped her head around, allowing for him to get a good look at her. Her eyes, skin, hair... He quickly took in it all. So, this is what his soulmate looked like? Funny...he never imagined having one, and yet here she is.

He stoically stares up at the moon. He breathes in another breath of cold air. "Hm...that's quite the question. No, I don't have anywhere to be, other than here. So, the answer is both yes and no at the same time. It's rather interesting how that works, isn't it?"

The girl stops and looks at him, confusion written all over her face. But Chrollo can read people beyond the surface. The eyes are the windows to the soul, as they say. He can see intrigue, as well.

"Who are you?" She demands. Chrollo looks back at her and quietly chuckles to himself in a manner he would had someone challenged him to a fight after losing his Nen. "Who are you?" He smirks, scanning her for any reaction. She isn't afraid. She isn't upset. No, she's completely calm.

"I asked first." She countered. Her face was made of stone as she said this. She showed no emotion during this entire encounter.

"Chrollo." He finally answered, smiling. He was enjoying this. Was he in love? No. That would, inevitably, come with time. But was he drawn to interest? Most definitely. "Hm. Goodbye, Chrollo." She hummed, walking off.

"You didn't give me your name."

"I know."

Genuine question for those of you who say that you want the dissolution of all states. What do you envision in place of states in terms of:

Logistics (i.e. making sure every area has the basic resources it needs in order to function and people not die for lack of water, food, fuel, medical supplies, etc.) Like not assigning these things necessarily but literally just getting them to various far-flung places.

Security (how do you prevent people from outside the area coming in and taking everything including resources, land, people, etc.) How do you prevent authoritarian groups coming in and occupying your formerly peaceful, non-hierarchical society?

Supporting people outside of affinity networks or within rigid social systems (a lot of disabled people, queer people, and other people on the social, familial, and religious outs are gonna die without some kind of appropriate systems in place to meet these needs.)

Addressing major environmental challenges that require cooperation over vast areas of land, if not global cooperation.

Rule of law, especially when it comes to human rights, freedom of movement, freedom of religion/culture, dispute resolution between governing bodies of whatever variety that doesn't involve war, etc. but also just like, basic laws governing interpersonal relationships (preventing rape, murder, theft, etc. and addressing the aftermath of those things in a humane, just way.)

Peaceful transition from states to whatever it is you imagine taking their place, without hemorrhaging lives from the most vulnerable populations.

And like, there's more that I'm sure I'd have questions about too, but these concerns are so basic that I just cannot continue the conversation without knowing what the plan is for these essential tenets of an organized society.

Don't get me wrong: I don't love states and wish we had a better system too. I am also painfully aware that states are failing many if not most of these all the time. However, what I would need to know is how what you are proposing is better than trying to improve what currently exists and isn't going to come at the cost of catastrophic loss of human life, human cultures, animal life, and land destruction. And not in a pie-in-the-sky way, a realpolitik way.

Omfg, imagining how with Vox's head would "malfunction" whenever Alastor is around no matter what model his TV was and Alastor always making a comment of something like "you always say that your new models would perform better and better, yet they always still go away. I'm starting to even wonder why you bother upgrading your head if none of those problems go away" (Vox would get even more nervous whenever Alastor makes that kind of comment too)

LMAOOOO I love this, I find it incredibly funny if alastor just legitimately thinks the new tech is malfunctioning not just due to oblivion but also due to him looking down on new tech so it's not much of a surprise to him that it would malfunction. see, this is why he doesn't dip too much into video, this glitchy new technology is unreliable if it malfunctions this much.

There are two wolves fighting in me too - one understands why Luke did this and sincerely sympathizes with him... the other just wants to rip out his adam's apple.

And I'm torn between them.

Exactly. I made this post a fair while ago, but my thoughts have not changed. Everything that happened in Luke Castellan’s life lead him towards becoming a villain, and yet the things he does in the books, on and (implied) off page, push him well beyond the line of redeemable.

He may have been a hero in the very end, but he became a total prick who even bordered on weird, between whatever happened with him and Silena, and the way his last words to Annabeth were written.

In the show, they seem to be trying to make Luke a bit better, but a small part of me thinks they should show Luke being really bad later on.

While he may have been manipulated by Kronos, he did also know what he was doing a lot of the time as well.

Ronance is like the definition of chaotic smart.

I can so see nancy dragging them into high-risk situations that her instincts lead her too (and robin is fully aware it’s a bad idea and is simultaneously intrigued and terrified for nancy) and robin both complaining and still deliberating and building off of nancy’s ideas and throwing them back to her with a new, fresh set of details, making them even stronger.

They complete each other. Nancy has the base of the plan and the idea, and Robin seems to meet her halfway, challenging and providing another perspective without refuting her base concept. They’re both so smart but in different ways.

- if it's tweet, look at the @/username. 90% of the tweets that go around on here that say they're a film updates or news site have a normal user @ thats not associated with the actual site they're pretending to be.

- if it's a screenshot of a news site or other site/account, verify for yourself. (Especially if it's futoncritic, they don't actually delete posts. They just put a strike through and make another post)

- if you can't find a REPUTABLE (major publication or legit database) way to back up (significant) information , it most likely isn't real/true.

Hero reading to Skeptic and TLQ?

I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG! This concept just gripped me by the heart and I could not live with myself if I didn't give it the love and time it deserved. Obviously as the most literate of the group Hero is the dedicated storyteller. Narrator and Princess both are semi-literate (with the former having vision issues he would rather die than admit to), but Hero as a regular employee can read no problem! He prefers to read fantasy and adventure books, but his little library has grown quite large from novels found in some of the abandoned facilities and occasionally requests for specific genres from their friends. Hero used to read things fairly blandly but as he has gotten comfortable he has started doing voices more! TLQ often likes to close their eyes and just zone out to the stories. He likes to imagine himself in them and pretend they're about when he, Princess, and Narrator are finally free of their contracts and can go explore space proper. I am sure he has actually fallen asleep at least once during a story. Skeptic LOVES to listen to reading. While detective novels are obviously his favorite he enjoys any and all books he can listen to. Often he will request Hero explain how things might smell or sound because he cannot understand the image adjectives, so Hero has to try and make those details up. Hero has gotten fairly decent at it by now, but it was an inconsistent mess at the start. Honestly Hero would make a fairly decent DnD DM.

I don’t know why this one took so long, nor why it took so much out of me. Either way it’s a cute concept!

Adversary is reconsidering her life decisions talking to Contrarian, and Stubborn is overwhelmed by whatever rant Skeptic has subjected him to.

Some writing below

“You know…” Stubborn shifted, looking at Adversary as she huffed, placing her chin into her open palm. “What the main bird said makes me want to learn how to write poetry.”

Stubborn nodded. “Me too, but I’m no good at anything of that caliber, that’s the thespian and plank of wood’s thing.”

Adversary squinted, seemingly at nothing, before turning to him. “Maybe…”

“No.”

“Oh why not!” She says, more of an accusation than a question. “You say they’re annoying-“

“Insufferable.”

“-but it can’t be that hard to learn more in depth writing! It’s like- it’s like punching things, yeah? You just- do it.” She gestures with a quick punch of her own, leaving a large, fist imprint in the now broken wall. Oof, Tower will be raging up a storm when she sees the damage.

“Don’t ask me!”

“Then let’s go ask them.”

“No! Skeptic stops speaking any understandable form of English after mere minutes, and Contrarian is just flat annoying.”

“Yes!”

“I won’t budge on this.”

“And what makes you think I will either?”

Ultimately their argument would lead to a fight filled with broken horns and ripped feathers. In a moment where his balance was thrown, Stubborn’s scruff would be grabbed; no longer could he easily reach her to pry her off of him, not with his nails dragging down her arm at such an awkward angle. Adversary was forced to drag the fired up bird to the last two faces he wanted to see.

“Ohohoho! What’s this then?”

“Well isn’t this a curious sight.”

Agony, agony was what this was, and agony he’d have to endure for the next few hours of his life.

I figured! We never get leaks this specific and abundant this early — we haven’t even gotten a proper informational trailer yet, which will probably come out this summer. And the final evo forms are almost always the last things we find out, we probably would not get this as much as this offered at this point.

And yeah!! I’m hoping when leaks do start eventually coming around it mentions a little about ancestors/descendants… I’m very interested to see if we get more, and who!!

Favorite thing about the leak though is the thought of another chimecho evolution and a gligar line regional variant. Probably too good to be true but I’d love those!
