long winded ass post I contemplated not writing but did it anyways. read if you’d like or ignore lmao.

so I feel as though this kind of goes without saying but a lot has changed on tumblr and the vibe has shifted a lot, sadly, not for the better either :/ I thought about this for a while and although last week, I was not posting any new content due to the strike, I’ve decided to step away from writing in general after this month. I could sit here and go on a tangent about how it’s the ‘algorithm’ and ‘dying fandoms’ but to me, this boils down to the fact that I refuse to exhaust myself to be unappreciated + disrespected. That’s not to say I’m ungrateful to everyone who reblogs and comments on my works all the time because I am incredibly grateful! I love each of you and I look forward to reading your tags/thoughts. However, it’s not lost on me that the anime fandom in general is becoming shrouded in toxicity and many of us are being pushed away. We’re in an age where people are seen as content machines and not humans so others feel entitled to their art and feel no need to be kind, understanding or empathetic to that person’s feelings. I’m not wasting my time trying to teach people manners that they should’ve learned a long time ago. I refuse to share my craft with people like that. And to say the quietest part out loud: y’all don’t want black writers around, PERIOD. One scroll through the dash shows that much. As someone who’s written primarily for AOT (not changing btw) and specifically the black side of the fandom, it’s almost laughable at the extreme lengths that ppl have gone through to see it be erased. And I don’t mean getting fics hit with labels or reporting (that failed so they switched to plan B.) since I began back writing in 2020-21, it was obvious that it was the most popular among black girls and I remember ppl telling me to write for them. Hell, it’s the sole reason I even watched. Needless to say, I fell in love with the show and it holds a special place in my heart. However, I realized I didn’t need any of the original material. Not only that, in all the years I’ve been writing, it’s the first time I’ve seen so many black girls resonating and happy with a group of characters. It was the first and only time I’ve seen stories where I didn’t feel as though them being a black character was a hidden secret or toned down to appeal to others (no shade). It was in my face and proud, even if I didn’t personally resonate with the reader or concept of the story. It still felt good coming from a fandom where I was literally the ONLY black writer in it. Fast forward and I clearly see that now, it’s not welcomed. We could sit here and blame it on non-blk (yt) having the problems but that’s a load of bullshit and the only enemies we have are one another. It’s been other black writers who have littered the tags with discourse abt the same stupid topic to avoid new fics being seen. It’s been other black writers who have switched fandoms when they were no longer the ONLY ones bc coexisting is just too damn hard apparently. It’s been other black authors who have made it blatantly clear that they are only interested in seeing and creating stories that are palatable to other races so they won’t be perceived in a negative light or to be seen as one of the ‘good ones’. Even down to not using black reader tags or avoiding coded language. So much so, they are comfortable laughing at anti-black rhetoric being pushed on other apps so as long as their new favs are not the brunt of the joke.

I’m not here to tell anybody how or what to write. I’m not here to say you ONLY have to like one show but what I am saying is that i will NOT be spending hours and days agonizing over a fic for it to be minimized to a joke for a bitch on TikTok. I will not spend the little free time I have trying to crunch and finish a fic for it not do well but watch y’all pile in my mentions to argue over nonsense. And I won’t sit here and watch y’all purposely try to run other black writers away bc they don’t fit ur aesthetic. Fiction is fiction and whether you resonate with it or not, it’s expression. I’m a boring ass country bumpkin from the middle of nowhere, Florida who’s got social anxiety, chronically ill, neurodivergent and is in bed by 10:00. I don’t smoke, never had sex and I literally never leave the house unless I’m grocery shopping. I never have and never will live the life of any of my characters, even the most tame ones. But I write for EVERY black girl and want everyone of them to be seen. The one space where that seems to be allowed is obviously not welcomed anymore. Arguing and trying to defend ourselves against people who are committed to misunderstanding us is pointless. Minimizing us down to ‘baby mama’, ‘hoodrat’ fics, simply bc you no longer like certain characters (many of which you all were writing for not too long ago) is quite frankly clown and coon ass behavior. Watching y’all become enraged by tropes that are used by ever race, every fandom, etc but turning the blind eye bc it suits ur narrative is fucking hypocritical and laughable at best.

I’m not insecure in my writing. Never have been and never will be. I know I pour everything I have into creating the best work I can and it’s for that reason that I won’t allow it to be treated like trash. I have over 250 drafts in my Google docs and best believe, that’s where they’ll stay until I see fit. Although I know it’ll probably mean leaving the last place I have any sense of community and social interaction in general, it’s not worth coming on here angry everyday in defense mode. Its not worth getting out of my character over and I rather just not be around if it means I have to play mean girl. My mind may change and all of this will just have been me getting shit off my chest but as of right now, this account will be archived come February 28th. Thank you to everybody who’s supported me this far and gave me a safe space. I love all of you so very much and hope that we can enjoy the rest of this month together 🫶🏾 🤍

Samuel wonders how you can be so cute, even doing something as mundane as talking to a fan.

Your expression is genuinely soft and sincere as they pour out their appreciation for you. Samuel snaps a picture of the two of you, before sending them on their merry way.

Throughout the exchange, you had noticed Samuel staring, "What are you so happy about?"

"I'm not," Finally, he looks away.

"Then why are you smiling?"

Samuel schools his face. He is not smiling. You are not making him smile, damnit.

Your stomach rumbles yet again.

You're stuck on this godforsaken shoot, sitting aimlessly for hours while some other starlet throws a tantrum. You're bored, hungry and cold. Can this day get any worse-

"This is for you,"

Just as you're on the verge of throwing your own tantrum, Samuel thrusts a steaming bowl of soup under your nose.

"Sammy!" you jump to hug him as he struggles to not spill a drop, "You're the best!"

"...Don't call me Sammy."

Another day, another interview.

After being stuck in a stuffy conference room all day, you're finally rewarded with your freedom. Shame now the heavens have opened. You wait under the building awning, sighing to yourself.

"Here,"

Samuel angles his umbrella over you as a side of him starts getting drenched.

"God, Sammy," you hold on to his arm, snuggling up next to him, "I think I'm in love~"

He knows that you're likely joking, but his cheeks still flush crimson.

"Can we please just detour to get some ice cream?"

"No, you have an early start tomorrow."

Damn him! Samuel can be so stupidly strict sometimes. Yeah it's for your own good but you've had this craving for days now. Ugh. You stomp off ahead.

Someone jumps out at you from the shadows-

"OH MY GOD Y/N! Can I please get your autograph?"

Ah, just another overexcited fan. You plaster on your best sunny smile and take the profferred pad and pen, "Sure!"

You hand it back, goodbyes on the tip of your tongue - when he lunges and grabs hold of you, twisting your wrist painfully.

"Please let me show you my shrine!"

Shrine?? "No!"

"Come on!"

"Get off me!" You struggle to release yourself from his hold.

"Please, it won't take a second-"

In the blink of an eye, the guy is lying in a heap on the floor. Samuel looks at him in disgust, fiddling with the brass knuckle now adorning his hand.

The disgust melts away immediately to concern once he sees the distress on your face.

"Y/N, lets get you that ice cream."

You put on your most flattering poses for the paparazzi and fans, Samuel trailing close behind on the red carpet.

"Y/N! Y/N! Who's that handsome man next to you!" a voice in the rabble shouts.

"Oh, Samuel? That's my bodyguard!" You signal for Samuel to join you, which he does with an annoyed huff, "...And my boyfriend!"

You turn to grin at Samuel. His face wears his usual nonchalance, but you notice how his eyes have widened slightly in shock.

He leans in close. To the cameras it looks like a kiss on the cheek, and the crowd swoons accordingly, instead he murmurs, "Boyfriend, huh?"

"I know you're sweet on me. Don't lie, Sammy," you whisper back.

"Hmph," is all the response you get.

But you notice the hint of a smile as he threads his fingers through yours.

I've been doing well the best I could, but thanks for asking! It's been an exhausting time for me, but I'm getting by :] Here's a colored sketch of her, as you requested! Still working on her reference so she'll take a bit (same to the others as well), but I hope this suffices!

Thank you for being interested in my grumpy gal, and for the lovely ask! I'll try my best to explain my headcanons and that kind of thing for her! And honestly same, I would just do whatever she wanted so that I don't get on her bad side lmao.

Plus I really like the idea of Henry having an older sister - originally she wasn't really in the story, but I really liked the idea of an outsider from the Freddy's drama finding out what kind of thing Henry got himself into, and I thought Jennifer suited that role nicely.

Jennifer Emily in my AU - she's a very tough love and blunt kind of woman (Henry unintentionally got his bluntness from her partially), preferring to just be straightforward rather than sugarcoating everything. She just prefers having things done first before she deals with the ungodly things called emotions - she can be a bit brash and can get easily irritable, but she means well, she just says what's on her mind sometimes, so she can sound pretty harsh and brutal. And sadly, she's not really the best at consoling someone or helping them get through their emotions, but she tries her best to console in a different way.

She's a car mechanic, but genuinely has an interest in racing cars (even got racer's jackets and photos of race tracks/racing tournaments she had watched - she's a racing fan, damn she would've loved the Cars movie lmao) and custom car stuff (I imagine her car is like modified a bit to look like a race car for the aesthetic - probably would've collected sports car toys and the like) and that kind of thing - she really wanted to be a racer someday, but alas, that's simply just a child's dream, but she's happy enough to be someone who fixes something she loves as a living, but she was definitely frustrated with the whole misogynistic remarks she gets for just being a car mechanic. Also she doesn't Henry to repair his own car and would rather find him and his run-down car in the middle of nowhere than get him to try and repair it on his own. Another thing, it's never explicitly said in the story/treated as a big deal at all, but my Jennifer is a lesbian woman, and Henry doesn't really care and loves her all the same regardless (and honestly he's not even surprised mostly because he sort of knew she dated women before). She never really found luck finding love though, but she tries her best to go by her life regardless.

Back when Henry and William were just new friends back in college years, she highly disliked William - Henry always argued back/stood up for William, but she just never really liked him. Her personality would always clash with William's, and she really doesn't like how wishy-washy William can be and how much he puts on a show for people, and how much he can be a "people-pleaser" in her perspective. The British accent also made her feel like he was being pretentious and posh individual. Of course, years down the line, Jennifer just sort of got used and just kept her dislike for William all to herself/to Henry, but Henry sometimes alludes to it sometimes in a light-hearted manner.

She also lives alone, with her dog (A Doberman, they're very sweet) :] She never really saw herself as someone who can take care of kids, let alone know how to deal with them, so she's honestly living the best life she could! It's honestly why she doesn't mind Henry coming over every once in a while, she doesn't like to admit it but she gets a little lonely there by herself sometimes.

Sorry for another long post, but I really hope I've explained her stuff well! Thanks for the ask as well it was really fun answering this question!

dating touya todoroki, would consist of

having a late night car rides (this is prob expected bc who is touya if there are no late night car rides) sneaking out of his house at the dead of the night. he only does it, just bc he wants to see you and he likes the thrill.

he would be the type to always make you break the rules and whisk you away from your home. he would def say "life's too short, doll." like damn sir, whatever you say🧎🏻‍♀️

and god those parties his family throws every celebration (rich fam fr), he looks so good in a suit, a black tailored one, with his white hair and his fucking stance too! mf knows he looks good. bored out of his mind, but then you just came along, your hands with your father, in a pretty dress. he might be insane, he can hear the wedding bells, his eyes wide and dazed. not noticing you have gone closer to him, letting out a little giggle "Well, hello there mister", smiling at him.

fixing his posture and collecting his composure. mf was so stunned to speak, you're so pretty in a dress and just might ask for your hand in marriage right this very instant (mf really forgot abt your father beside you😩)

touya todoroki KNOWS how to dance, i take no criticisms, i rest my case. like have you seen that man?! i just know it. he would grab your waist, when the music plays and slowly lead you to the dance floor and looking at you with his bed eyes (got me blushin for him) your hands on his shoulders and his gaze is so intense, it makes you shy. he would also be the one pulling you to his car and just drive away from the party, just the two of you. windows down and music playing in the background, this kind of freedom you only experience with touya.

touya todoroki would definitely, skip his business meetings for you and waste his time on you. he never regrets any moments spent with you. and you would scold him for bailing out on meetings just to hang out with you, he would prefer getting reprimanded by you instead of his father.

touya todoroki would spend his money giving you lots of gifts, cheap or expensive? it doesn't matter, he wants to show you how much he thinks of you on a daily and would prob buy you everything if you ask for it.

touya todoroki, would definitely talk about you with rei. he would tell her how much he loves you, dropping things he notices about you. that sometimes when he looks at you, he would think how he is so lucky for you to pick him. how someday he wishes he could spend the rest of his life with you. and his mother would just sit there and listen with a small smile on her face. his eldest son, genuinely happy and just so in love. (would def love you, just from his stories and would suggest in meeting you.) when he told his mother would like to meet you, you were shocked and almost had a heart attack. mf just dropping a bomb at you like that.he would casually ask about your day and just randomly say it.

you love him sm, who doesn't like this man really?? his scars, his eyes, his voice, his pain, all of his light. you love him, and the feelings inside your chest are so overwhelming, even words we're not enough to describe it.

bc even if he does dumb shit, that could prob get himself into trouble and maybe make bad decisions, there is no other touya todoroki in this world. bc no one could ever replace him, he will always be your touya todoroki.

But when he comes in, all of your work may as well have been for nothing.

You wonder why you even bother showing up to work some days to see this irksome idiot. He grabs more of the candy and starts rummaging through the boxes at your feet.

"Hey-- just- put that back- ugh, Kisuke-!!!"

He drives you nuts.

Every fucking day you get closer and closer to losing your damn mind.

His nonchalance towards your meticulous and dedicated work grate on you, his whimsical and forgetful tendencies leave you picking up the slack, and the pervy comments and touches?

If you get one more you swear you're gonna level him.

He stands up with fistfuls of the new candy.

"Kisuke. Put it back."

However, he knows something about you that you definitely haven't come to terms with yourself.

Unfortunately, despite his outward stupidity, deep (and I mean deep) down, there's a part of you that knows how perfect he is. His happy go lucky exterior is see through to you now, and if you tell the honest truth, you like the mysterious and logical man underneath.

But you can't say it. You can't even think it. When you look at him, with his hoards of candy and that stupid grin, it makes you want to smack his face and push the feelings so deep that you'll never find them again.

And due to this ongoing battle, it's leaving you susceptible to his... flirtations.

So when he steps closer, with that wide smile still plastered on his face, and asks,

"What are you gonna do?"

You snatch a packet from his clutches and place it back on the shelf, organising them again. You turn back to take the rest but he has his hand held up with a hard sweet in his fingers. He's so close to your lips- he just smirks and tells you to open up, slipping the candy inside.

He watches your eyebrows furrow, but you accept the candy nonetheless. He swipes his thumb over your lip and traces over the corner of your mouth, then to your cheek.

"Hands off," you threaten, but he ignores you, bringing his thumb back to your lip to tease your mouth open.

"You like that flavour, too, don't you?" His voice is lilting and jovial, laced with something more sinister.

What is he thinking.

He slides his thumb over your tongue.

You grab his wrist and yank it back.

"Kisuke."

You've warned him about touching you like this.

But every time he does it just makes your feelings clearer.

You want him, and he knows. And the fact that it bothers you so much is very amusing to him.

"Kisuke, get your hands off me and help with this damn delivery."

But he persists, his palm finding your cheek with your hand still wrapped around his wrist, and he slides around to the back of your neck to pull you closer. You stumble over the boxes and trip forwards, your hands landing on his chest with a little yelp. You can feel his bare skin where his samue slips away.

"No," he wants you to admit it. He's had enough of playing the fool.

"Let's have some more candy."

He smiles and tilts your head up to his, squeezing your cheeks and leaning down.

Your eyes fly wide when he just keeps coming closer- you push back on his chest but he stills you with ease, bringing his lips to yours and licking the candy right out of your mouth.

I feel like Sevika would for sure be the kind of person to tell everyone at each show that you’re the lead dancer, and will proudly show you off without hesitation to every single person who is watching you. She loves to see you doing something you so very much love, and if she has all the time & chance in the world to show everyone how much she cares, treasures and supports you? girl is gonna be talking about you constantly until their ears fall off. She’s a proud woman, and she’s always proud of you for doing the things you enjoy. Every show you do, and even in practise, Sevika will always bring you flowers. Personally, after big shows she brings you a bigger bunch because its the moment of your life. Practise, its a small bunch of maybe tulips because she knows your a little busy, but either way it always makes you happy because she never misses any of them. They are important to you, but they are so much more important to her.

For learning, i feel like you’d teach her a lot of stuff. Maybe to do with some new move you had shown her, and she wasn’t entirely sure what it was. She loved that you were willing to take time out of your practicing to show or teach her your very (as she puts it) sexy moves. Of course, it would take a few tries for her to even keep up with you though. (i have now realized i read that part wrong, you said ballet history.. my bad) but yes! I think anything involving you, she would be so keen to learn more about everything you do. can imagine her literally studying & spending hours at the library or even staying up past 3am while you’re either fast asleep beside her or getting in a little more practice to learn more about which ballet shows were your favorite, which ones inspired you the most etc.

Crying if you get lead roles?! Uh yes? The conversation with probably go something like “Vika.. they called me today and they told me that they wanted me to be the l-” and before you could even finish your sentence, she’s bawling her fucking eyes out, picking you up and damn near suffocating you with her hugs telling you how proud of you she is, and how much she loves you. (me sobbing because i miss writing for sevika.. anyway)

Helping you stretch… now listen, im all for Sevika helping ME stretch but i damn near think she would combust seeing just how flexible you are… like imagine you’re doing the splits.. and she’s just staring at your ass the whole time, or the way your back is slightly arched. she is gonna be on the verge of breaking a bone with how tight her grip is on her own thigh, or she’s gonna pass out because you just look so good in that position. like who let you? so as far as helping you stretch… of course, she’s gonna help, but i think her hormones will act up and get the best of her… and it’ll somehow end with you, a pretty mess under her, your legs over her shoulders while she pretty much fucks you into the mattress, and actually praising your flexibility “fuck.. I didn’t know your legs could actually go that far, shit..”

came back here on tumblr after literal years just for gomens 2 stuff and i got a notif from you. I feel happy seeing your blog again,, so its so surprising for me that you disliked s2, purely just bc youre someone i consider as monumental to the entire fandom bc of your loyalty pre-TV era. so it's intriguing to know your thoughts abt the tv version.

i read your points and DAMN you reminded me of the stuff i didnt like back in s1 that I FORGOT bc so many years have passed since i watched + read the series. I forgot how much I loved bastard, asshole Aziraphale. TV him is characterized as 100% good, better than heaven dude which isn't bad.. and hes very fluffy and adorable. But i always liked the difference between that and crowley being a demon and yet nice. i always missed him calling him "my dear" too. If theyre gonna make them lovey dovey in TV, make him call him my dear damn it!!

As a book fan too, i personally loved s2. But reading your points made me realize it wasnt completely perfect so I respect your side. I do hope s3 turns out to be better than our expectations so you can tune back to it again. I just want you to have more content that you can enjoy even if it's completely new stuff. I understand the feeling so bad of having new stuff but being unable to enjoy it (a diff show for me). Makes you wonder what kind of plot he and Terry originally planned for all this fanservicey stuff to happen. I agree about the book part too, Crowley would never throw those around! The part with them meeting as angels, honestly I think it wouldve been better if they just didn't remember it so they wouldn't ruin their first meeting in the book. It would've been fine as a throwaway like "they met but don't remember."

With the finale,, hmmm I think TV!Azira's characterization def plays a part in why he did it. TV!him screams as someone who is still insecure about being an angel and losing his privileges. So he took the only opportunity he could to change heaven so he and Crowley could live in peace, after seeing Gabriel who is alr so powerful, be cast away after that decision. I'm curious though, how would you think book!him would think in this decision?? With an Armageddon 2 coming up again I can't imagine of anything else the two of them could do to fight it again w/o an influence in higher power.

Oh geez, I sure hope that nobody has notification on for my blog right now 😂 (or ever)...it'll be so annoying for them 🤣🤣 and honestly, I'm just some guy on the internet running a blog with no profit to gain from being "loyal" to a fandom, so I'm gonna truthfully share my opinions. And yeah like you said, it's possible to enjoy the book and the show at the same time, just taking into consideration that they are different media and characters. It's hard to imagine book!Aziraphale in this situation because there has been too many differences that led to this situation......and I just don't see book!Aziraphale in this situation, because to begin with, I don't think Gabriel would even go to him in times of trouble, lol. So let's say that Metatron directly went to him after everything had happened and Gabriel had already ran off and offered him the position (with an offer he can't refuse) -- I think he would have to accept on the surface, and then he would immediately go to Crowley to try to work their way out of it/figure out a way to keep the position but still slacks off all the time like he's always done 😂😂

Please tell me your punk!Steve thoughts.

OH BOY I HAVE A LOT - besides what i’ll probably infodump abt here i have lowkey fleshed out an entire backstory for punk steve under the #punk steve au

(to summarize, steve decides to become a punk and rebel against his parents instead of doing what they want and being a jock)

he introduces punk culture to el and max and they adore it (el loves the pastel punk aesthetic)

he doesn’t use any of his parents money (but continues to live in their house bc he doesn’t really have anywhere else to go and doesn’t want to burden any of the multiple families that would take him in), is a lifeguard in the summer and takes odd jobs around fall and winter.

he goes to Indianapolis as often as possible and learns most of what he knows from Elder Punks he meets there. there’s a couple small punk/alt stores he always stops by and a few bars/clubs. everyone he meets loves him (and baby punks in general but they find it really cool that he comes from privilege yet decides to rebel against ideals that were made so he could succeed at the failure of others).

he’s also introduced to the queer community a lot earlier on, and realizes he’s mlm (i hc him as gay but i can also see him as bi) and there’s a bunch of Elder Gays who adopt him.

he’s pretty much the only punk in Hawkins, so he kinda gets a reputation. in his freshman year he mostly keeps to himself, doesn’t really dress the way he wants and just wants to make it through the year. sophomore year though, he befriends jonathan nancy and barb and starts dressing and acting the way he wants to. him and jonathan listen to music together and he helps out with will when joyce and jonathan need to work- which eventually leads to him meeting mike dustin and lucas and taking care of them too.

steve realizes he wants to be strong enough to protect the people he cares about, so him and jonathan train and work out together a bit. steve and nancy don’t date, but they’re best friends along with barb. i just need to see barb and steve as besties it would make me so happy. also nancy and barb are in love bc obviously.

halfway through sophomore year steve gets a job at the local mechanics (mechanic eddie this, mechanic eddie that, no! give me mechanic steve who has a special interest in cars! just look at his beemer! and like the sole decoration he has in his room is a photo of a car!)

SO. junior year. this is when he starts going to indianapolis a lot more frequently. he buys records and camera stuff for jonathan, and drawing supplies for will (he basically lives with the byers atp). he is a lot more sure of himself, wears combat boots and battle jackets, and is damn good at fighting (he worked really hard at it the summer before). if anyone harms the kids he will not hesitate to hit someone, and this becomes town-wide knowledge very quick.

when will disappears in november, steve is the first person joyce calls before karen. he joins the search parties, he goes to lonnie instead of jonathan (steve would rather die than make jonathan face his abuser again). basically he’s involved with the upside down shit from the start.

also, steve accidentally finds out about el when dustin and lucas do. he offers to have her stay at his house, mike is reluctant but agrees, and el immediately becomes steve’s new baby sister. steve still saves the day at the end of s1 with the demogorgon, but the fight with jonathan and all of that doesn’t happen.

i accidentally plotted the whole show with this au…

steve finds el s2 and actually fucking tells the Party instead of hiding it like hopper did. el just permanently lives at steve’s now.

oh yeah and barb doesn’t die so that’s a thing that changes s2 a lot. i lost track of where this was going so i’m gonna just drop hcs i have about punk steve

he paints his nails black, he has a few piercings, he doesn’t really like the feeling of makeup on his face but he puts on eyeliner occasionally, he lets his hair grow out more and has perfected the ‘messy bedhead that somehow looks good’ look, he has big combat books and uses lace code, he’s gay but says he would go straight for joan jett (me too tbh), he has a reputation of “don’t fuck with me or my kids” in Hawkins, he also lowkey converts robin into a punk but she’s more indie-alt like jonathan, he doesn’t play any instruments but has a great voice and perfect pitch, will and el help him make one of his favorite battle vests, will is very crafty and artistic so he helps steve with a lot of his stuff, he has a few tattoos, he can do cool lighter tricks lol, etc.

my favourite freaking line can you tell? IT SHOWS THEIR ABILITY TO ROOT FOR ONE ANOTHER. SHOWS EMPATHY. SHOWS LOVE. ("my heart is so full it could burst") THE RECALL TO THE MORNING THEY WOKE UP TOGETHER, REMINDING YOU OF DOMESTICITY AND SIMPLICITY AND TRUST AND CLOSENESS.

ONE SHARED PAST; ONE SHARED FUTURE ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? this is all i ever wanted for them. to be able to grow together and live together and die together. TO HAVE A SHARED PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.

this line is also loaded to me bc i once wrote a fic called "entangled pasts; estranged future" that wasnt good enough to be posted but GOD IT REMINDS ME SO MUCH OF IT

Btw, he's not just greedy, he actually panicked cuz she's his favourite kid among allll the children of The Guild, she's the one matching his crazy energy. No one else can do that, everyone's just too clingy but with that also too dumb (hi, Natsu) or too strict (hi, Erza) or even too nice (he likes Lisanna, Lisanna is good, she's like baby sister, but still), and, except teen!Mirajane, no one's literally as aggressive and explosive as he is, no one understands his music, his lifestyle, his decisions even. Even then, he felt safe with her, cuz he known he will be understood, cus most of the time they have almost same thoughts. So he's.. He's happy with that brat around. He's okay with her. She's okay. He doesn't feel any romantic feelings abt her, she's 13yo, c'mon, but he can enjoy her presence, she's chill but emotional, she's rude but loyal, she's annoying but interesting, she's acting stupid but she's really smart, she plays independent but she LOVES hugging. He can tell she'll be a damn good person. And strong. She is strong. He still wants to protect her (even if he's not showing it, he wants to protect all of them, but her especially), but he can see how much power she actually possess. That's even cooler. One day maybe they can spar. Why not?
