Larry Johnson X Female! Reader - The Comfort of Having Someone

Summary: After being shamed by Travis, you try to ditch school without any of your friends noticing. Unfortunately, Larry knew what game you were trying to play and played it better than you did.

Author’s note: I was so excited to get this. This is my first ever request and I couldn’t be happier that it’s about Larry!:) I do want to apologize because it took me so long to write this. Just remember, your body is beautiful!!💛

“You should stop eating. If you don’t, people might start to think you’re eating for two.” Travis’s comment made you look down at your stomach. You slowly pushed the plate of food in front of you away.

Travis walked away from the table you were sitting at and you only noticed your friend group heading towards your table when Chug sat across from you. “Here. Do you want this?” You were already sliding your plate across the table towards the chubby boy and smiled at him as he gobbled the food down. Maple sat down beside him and everyone else filed in as they found their places at the table.

“Were you not hungry?” Ashley asked as she watched you closely. Something had been up with you for a while and she wanted to ask but didn’t want to hurt or offend you by mentioning the changes that had been happening.

“I ate before and I’m not hungry right now.” You softly replied with a smile on your face. You ignored the pain in your stomach as you swallowed your desire to eat. It would all be worth it once you lost that weight. It would all be worth it when everyone stopped making fun of you for your stomach, your arms, your thighs, your body in general.

You smile awkwardly at your friends as you wrapped your arms around your stomach. It was a subconscious movement but Ashley and Todd noticed it. Todd reached a hand out and gently placed it on your back.

Ashley reached out to move your hair from your eyes. You shook your head and the hair moved but Ashley still moved it for you as it had fallen almost immediately back into place. “You know, I think you should eat something else. Maybe like a bag of chips?” Ashley gently tried to coax you into eating something and you crossed your arms over your chest.

“I don’t think I should. I don’t want my stomach to hurt.” Tension began rising at the table as your hand gripped the edge of your hoodie. Todd kept his hand on your back and gently patted it as Larry and Sal stared at you.

You pulled away from the table and heard Todd’s hand hit something as you grabbed your bag from the floor. You just wanted to leave and not be bothered with any of it anymore.

You found yourself hiding in the girls bathroom and felt somewhat proud of yourself. You would only be able to deal with one person at a time and so only Ashley would come to find you. You had closed and locked yourself into the third stall and held your breath when the door to the bathroom opened.

“R/n?” That was Larry’s voice. You were curious as to how he even managed to sneak past the teachers that usually guarded the bathrooms during the lunch hour. You closed your eyes for a moment and held your breath. You didn’t think Larry would’ve come into the women’s bathroom but you also didn’t think he would go and steal that stop sign that was in front of the police station. Maybe you needed to stop having faith in Larry and his ability to make decisions.

Not that your decision making was any better. You helped him almost steal a car at one point in time. It was Lisa’s but in the end, he managed to ask for the keys instead of just grabbing them. You stayed silent and lifted your feet off the ground. Larry had been smoking earlier that morning so you knew there was a high change he would completely overlook you.

You kept quiet and waited for him to leave. He would once he realized you weren’t in the bathroom. You heard the bathroom door close and you let a breath out as you smiled to yourself. You were at least smart enough to keep yourself hidden in the stall.

When you finally decided to exit, you had made a mental note of the window that was in the bathroom. You could probably fit out of it and when you did get out of the school, you’d immediately go home to find your bed. You silently opened the stall and squeezed out, feeling excitement fill your body when you seen the bathroom empty.

You could just go home and do whatever you felt like without having the judgement of anyone else. You were tired of Travis and on top for Travis, you were tired of your friends. They judged you for whatever you did in response to the constant bullying.

Your bag was draped across your shoulder and felt heavy as you looked at the window above the sinks. You could climb up onto the porcelain sink and then go out the window. You lifted yourself up onto the sink and pushed the window open. You threw your bag out the window and followed after it, groaning when you hit the ground.

You hurried away from the school and frowned when you felt genuine sadness fill you. You usually weren’t very sensitive and made sure to keep your emotions hidden. It wasn’t everyday that someone could manage to upset you.

You found yourself blindly walking down the concrete road and you tried to hide your excitement behind your blank face. You knew that you would be home and there was no telling what you would do once you got into the house. You could sleep, drink, smoke, literally anything you wanted to and there wouldn’t be a single person there to judge you.

You knew that you would most likely fall asleep once you got home but it was fun to think

You felt the wind blow a little harder and frowned at the realization that the weather probably wasn’t going to stay sunny.

“R/n?” Larry was somehow behind you. You turned around and stared at him with a look of pure shock.

“What the fuck?” You questioned as he laughed quietly.

“Yeah, I know you and I knew you would be trying to leave the situation instead of facing it.” Larry looked like he was disappointed in you which was ironic coming from him.

“You don’t know that. How do you know I didn’t start my period or maybe I got sick?” You crossed your arms over your chest and looked at the road. Larry just stared at you with the look Lisa would give when she caught y’all smoking together.

“R/n, everyone has noticed it. You haven’t been eating even when it’s just us, you don’t eat. I think Sal got you to eat a pack of crackers Saturday night. What’s wrong?” Larry wasn’t one to get mushy and make something about his emotions but apparently he could get mushy when it came to you and your eating habits.

“I… don’t think it’s any of your business what is going on with me. You should focus on yourself.” You turned away from Larry and kept walking down the road. You didn’t mean to be rude but you also didn’t think it was any of Larry’s business.

You wrapped your arms around yourself and quickened your pace as you just wanted to take a nap. You didn’t want Larry or any of the rest of them to question you or make you feel worse than Travis did.

You caught sight of the apartments and it made you feel slight comfort. That meant that you would be able to just lay in the comfort of your own room without the worries of Travis or literally anyone bothering you. You were real big on the not being bothered.

You stepped into the apartment building and was quick to step into the elevator. You watched the light in the elevator flicker as it came to a stop on your floor. The doors opened and you made a run for it, knowing Larry probably went to go get your friends.

He would bring them to the apartments and then… well, you didn’t know what would happen then. You locked your front door and went to lay on the couch, your eyes immediately closing once your body was on the couch.

You felt someone shake you aggressively and you swung your hand out, hitting something. You opened your eyes completely and sat up, confused. Your mom didn’t get off until ten that night and there was no way you just smacked her.

Larry was standing in front of you with a grimace on his face. “Didn’t expect you to hit me but man, you need to talk to me. I can help.” You stared blankly at Larry, a feeling of irritation building. Why did he care so much? It wasn’t like he understood what you were going through.

“Larry, please leave. I’m not in the mood to argue with you.” You whispered out as you stood up from the couch. “How the hell did you even get in here?” You stared at Larry with confusion as he held up the key that you gave him when the two of you became close friends. “Oh.” You whispered out.

Larry wrapped his arms around you and not even a few moments later, you were sobbing. Your face was shoved into his shoulder as you made sure he wouldn’t be able to see your face. Larry moved the two of you to the couch and you curled up on his lap.

You knew there was a possibility that you would get a noise complaint from the neighbor and Larry would end up going over there in the heat of the moment to confront them like he always did. “I just can’t do it anymore. I’m tired.” You sobbed out into his shoulder as you wrapped your arms around his neck. You just wanted any form of comfort you could get even if it was physical touch.

“He is always making comments about my body and it’s been building up. God, I know I’m gross. I know I’m fat and my body looks disgusting but that doesn’t mean I need to constantly hear about how everyone finds me revolting.” You pulled away as Larry’s hand wrapped around your waist. His fingers had touched your stomach and you hated it.

“R/n, you’re not revolting. I’ve seen your stomach and your body in all it’s glory.” Larry made a small joke as he wrapped an arm around your waist. He wanted you to see yourself how he seen you. “I think you’re really pretty.” Larry softly spoke, hoping he wouldn’t scare you.

“I have stretch marks on my fucking body, Larry. Look at my body. Travis is right. He is handsome. He doesn’t have stretch marks and his arms don’t unnecessarily move when he does anything.” Your tears had stopped falling as you wrapped your arms around yourself.

“R/n… your body is normal. I have stretch marks from when I got taller. It just means your body grew which is normal, okay? And, your arms are normal too. Unless you constantly work on your arms, they’re going to be soft and move. It’s apart of being human.” Larry looked confused for a moment before he just nodded along with what he had said. You stared at him from across the room and the look on your face made him laugh.

“I’m sorry, but you look like you’re in disbelief.” Larry looked at you with the softest smile you’d ever seen before. Larry got off of the couch and wrapped his arms around you again. His chin was resting on your head and within a moment, you had forgotten about what Travis said.

You slapped Larry away and he looked at you with shock on his face. “Hey, who said all that shit to you, anyways?” You thought for a moment. If you told him the truth, he would try to fight Travis and you didn’t want that but if you didn’t tell him the truth, he would call you out on your bullshit.

“Travis but you can’t do anything to him! He don’t mean it.” You automatically latched onto Larry to prevent him from going to fight Travis. You knew if Larry didn’t fight Travis that day, he’d do it at school and get suspended or even expelled. He always was the impulsive one out of everyone.

“I knew that little fucker would start on you someday. I just didn’t think he’d leave Sal alone long enough to do it.” Larry grumbled as he sat down on your couch. You smiled nervously at him as you sat beside him.

“It doesn’t matter. Usually, I wouldn’t take it seriously but you know, I’ve heard it so much lately that I just feel like it’s true.” You shrugged your shoulders as you looked at Larry with a small smile. You wanted him to know that you could take it but it just built up. You wouldn’t have mentioned it any other time because you would be able to handle it then.

“Still, if I catch the little bitch making fun of you or your body again, I’ll fuck him up.” Larry made you laugh. Something about the situation was funny to you and you didn’t know what it was.

“Just leave him alone. It doesn’t matter.” You whispered out from beside Larry.

“It does though. You were just sobbing about how ugly you feel because of him and now, apparently you’re okay? I find that hard to believe.” Larry wasn’t a genius but he did know when something was up with you.

“Yeah. I think I’m okay now.” You commented as you moved to lay down on the couch. “This happens all the time. I’ll cry and feel terrible and then I feel better and it’s like, a cycle.” You murmured out as you closed your eyes.

“That’s… not normal.” Larry looked at you with a small frown before you gently kicked him in his stomach.

“I swear it doesn’t matter. It just hurt for a bit.” You whispered out quietly. You didn’t want to say anything else because if you did, Larry would make a good point.

“I don’t even know what to say anymore. I am telling Sal, though.” Larry looked at you with a small smile and that small smile made you feel internal panic.

“No, don’t tell Sal. He’s already got enough to worry about.” You pouted as you glared at Larry.

“Only if you let me punch Travis.” Larry commented as he began trying to fish something out of his pocket.

“Dude, no.” You sat up and crossed your arms. You were internally grateful that Larry was arguing with you as it calmed you. It made you feel so much better about the situation that had occurred.

Majority of the night was spent with the two of you bickering about what Larry would do to Travis the next day and cuddling. It was a relief that you didn’t have to think about what Travis said anymore. You knew Larry would fix the situation even if he had to do something you considered drastic. And with that, the two of you kept arguing even when you both thought you were done arguing.

In general... it seems to me that it is quite difficult for Sally to open up to people, despite the fact that he is a very kind boy. It seems to me that he may be shocked by excessive tactility and emotionality

So, what about an overly active f!reader who likes to hold hands with friends, and hugs at a meeting, and kisses on the cheeks (sorry, this is literally me, and at the same time all my friends are not particularly tactile, aha ...). Oneshot -

Everyone described you with few words; bubbly, a social butterfly and VERY affectionate. You were not shy to pour your heart out to someone when needed, but you also were the first one to help a friend in need.

You always thought that being this touchy and nice to people was just common manners, until you be friended Sal Fisher.

Sal Fisher was an interesting individual, his everyday life was affected by years of torment explained by his flashbacks. He wasted a lot of his youth because Sal was isolating himself, not talking to anyone, not even his father. Even though his ''beloved'' father wasn't trying to help him to begin with. Though, this caused the young boy to develop an awkwardness to someone's touch and Sally could not properly explain to someone how he felt, he couldn't quite put words on his true feelings. Being touched, brushed or even just the thought of all this, made Sal feel something he couldn't even express. Sal was hollow, basically a shell of a human.

You luckily moved to Nockfell, the infamous town that your family wanted to move in so bad. You and your family landed in the Addison's apartments, there you met the tall Larry Jonhson. It was easy to get along with this guy anyway, you found yourself very lucky that day because the metalhead introduced you to Sal Fisher. You two will eventually end up together, but you don't know that yet.

For you, it was love at first sight. You Immediately complimented the way Sal presented himself. Basically showering him with compliments, especially his mask and hair. It wasn't your fault that you're this friendly, its the usual y/n. Sal Fisher felt almost claustrophobic by your gestures, weirdly appreciated that. You were not aware but this boy is secretly craving compliments, being this lonely for this long had affected the poor boy.

As the weeks passed, you and the blue haired boy hung out often, which made you delighted. You two were eating lunch together while the others had an art project to complete. Mr. Fisher and you were discussing when suddenly Sal made you laugh, your reflexes got the best of you and pushed him gently. Sal smiled to himself as his face turned crimson. ''God you are so funny, you need to stop my cheeks are hurting!!'' You confessed as you chuckled lightly. ''Pretty sure my name is Sal ,y/n'' your crush responded. You punched his shoulder gently, just as a way of saying to shut it. You knew that Sal was not introduced properly to your love language, but luckily you asked his closest friends about all of this. They approved to you that the masked boy isn't disturbed by it. It motivated you to not hide your true self, since your upcoming boyfriend is fond of it.

In an instant, the bell rang. You got up quickly and held Sal's hand to make sure he's following. You didn't want to lose him in the crowded halls right? Or did you just want an excuse to hold his hand? Sal figured this out but never told you.

Arrived to his locker, you were so happy that day and your nature took over suddenly, you peeked a small kiss on the cheek of Sal's prosthetic. '' See ya Sal! Goodluck with your math test-'' You yelled out as you escaped. You were proud of yourself too, you really liked Sal and the only way to show it is with affection and physical touch. You could not believe you actually did that. The next class felt like it was the longest ever, the school system was seperating you from your future lover.

Meanwhile, Sal's train of thoughts was going faster than usual. He froze in place for a good 5 minutes with his face hotter than when he had the flu. He thought to himself that you might like him, but Sal reasoned himself after saying that you probably do that to everyone. He wasn't so special, he thought. Normally, affecting gestures are not welcome for Sal Fisher, but you stood out. He actually felt great in your embrace. Even though he's not quick enough to hug back sometimes, he melts every time.

''Man I know you like her, you don't even let us touch you dude.'' Larry said after Sal reported everything of today. Sal closed his locker door a bit louder than he should've.

''Fuck off Larry. She's just different I guess.'' Sal retorted, what's left of his face turned a tint of pink, ballet pink to be exact. Sal thought to himself that he was pleased that the school day finally ended, they could finally go home and play som- Sal's thoughts were cut off by you hugging Sal as a way of greeting. He felt his legs soften beneath him. Sal's heart skipped various beats. '' Hi Sal!! Oh hi Larry! What are you guys up to after school?'' You smiled wildly as you got closer to Sal, which made him shiver. Larry started to smirk in a more of an evil way ''Oh I'm actually busy tonight but I know that Sal wanted to hang out with you y/n'' Sal bumped into him ''accidentally''.

Your cheeks flushed as you looked away ''I would love to! My parents are picking me up today so- text me okay?'' You ended your sentence with a small wink directed to Sal. You quickly left to go in your guardian's car. Suddenly you didn't feel like walking like everyone else, you were so happy you skipped your way to the car. Sal's jaw was hanging since Larry opened his ''dumb mouth'' as Sal would say.

''Youre welcome my man!'' Larry chuckled.

'' Get lost.''

Can I request platonic headcanons for Larry from Sally face and female red eyes demon reader ?

Reader always seems to know Larry and his mother more than a stranger should, even when she had first taken human form and started to live in the appartements. As if she had already interacted with them.

Larry and Sally asked reader about it, and with her usual annoyed expression, she said, "Larry, you always brag about having seen me when you were a little child, and now you don't remember ?"

Larry connects the dots and realises that what he has seen this day was reader in her demon form. Knowing his father disappeared just after, he asks her if she has something to do with it.

Reader tells the truth, what she has done to his father's planet, his aunt, and that she and her follower took care of him before his plans were successful.

She also says that his father his father loves him and his mother, that he never abandoned them. If it can make him feel better.

When you started living in the apartment, Sal and Larry made sure that you didn't do anything strange or dangerous. However, there was something they couldn't understand. Larry's mom told them that you obviously knew each other before, otherwise she didn't know why you knew her so well and knew so much about her son. Larry could have bet anything that you couldn't have known them before. However, when Sal and Larry asked you about it, you told them that Larry used to brag about seeing you, and now pretended that he didn't

It took Larry a little time to put all the facts together and realize that he saw you in your demonic form. Shortly after that, his father disappeared and he never saw him again. Larry understood that you might have known about his disappearance, so he decided to talk to you about it. Perhaps you were even connected to his father's disappearance and could shed light on what really happened then

You mercifully agreed to tell him the truth, but your story was very different from what he expected. You told him about what you did to his father's home planet, what you did to Larry's aunt, whom he had never even met, and that you and the cult members really had something to do with his father's disappearance. He didn't have time to implement his plan. You didn't even have time to finish your story when Larry snapped, running into a tree house

Larry was sitting alone, feeling tears rising in his throat, and when you climbed into the tree house, he didn't pay attention to it. You looked at him with an annoyed face and said you had something else to say. He looked at you and you turned your head slightly away and told him that his father loved him and his mother very much. You were sure that he would never have left them of his own free will. You didn't know if your words would make Larry feel better, but you decided to say them anyway

You left, leaving Larry alone, but he really felt better. There were moments when he thought that his father did not love him and his mother, so he left, but now he knew what really happened to his father and that he would not be able to meet him again. Larry didn't know if he could live in peace with you in the same house, but he hoped at least that no one else would get hurt because of your fault

**while I will not write rape or non consensual smut, I have no problem writing about s*xual assault in the past tense. As someone with a ton of past sexual trauma, I wish there were more x reader fics about reader having sexual trauma, being comforted, dealing with their triggers, ect. We all deserve to feel validated.

Side note: I try my very hardest to not only write the reader as gender neutral, but I also try to avoid putting any details about skin color/race/nationality, height, weight, hair type/length, ect. unless it’s specifically requested. I don’t mind writing fem!reader or like a drastic height difference or even a plot pertaining to body type or skin color if it’s specifically requested. I want everyone and anyone who reads my stuff to be able to imagine themselves in the story, regardless of what they may look like or identify as. okay! so, i thought i should probably make a masterlist if i wanted to get any requests. just to get started, i do fics, oneshots, and headcanons.

“So, explain to me again why you drove eight hours back to Nockfell with your back seat filled with pumpkins.” Todd peered over at your nervous form, while you gaze was locked in the driveway where Sal and Neil were unloading the nearly dozen pumpkins that occupied your back seat.

Shifting your gaze, you send a smile to the red-haired boy, “I wanted to come see you guys obviously, school’s not the same without you guys.”

“That’s sweet of you but that still doesn’t explain the pumpkins.” his eyes shifting to where yours once sat just as the two had finished moving the last of them.

A dramatic sigh leaves your mouth as your head drops to make eye contact with the ground. “Upperclassmen pawned them off on me,” you mumbled under your breath before you perked up at the sight of a familiar metalhead making his way up the driveway. “Larry!” you cheered, running towards the tired-looking man, abandoning the awkward conversation you were stuck in.

Larry let out a low grunt as your body made impact with his. “Hey, girly weren’t expecting you back until next month.”

You pulled away to offer the boy a cheeky smile, “Surprise~” Larry lets out an airy chuckle as he ruffles your hair.

“Woah, what’s with all the pumpkins?” his gaze drifts past you towards the pile of pumpkins Sal and Neil migrated to the porch.

“Upperclassman pawned them off on me so I thought I’d bring them with me so we could carve them, or smash them, whichever seems more fun,” you comment as you both make your way closer to the house.

Sal’s gaze shifted from the pile of fruits to your approaching forms, “We could invite Soda over, I’m sure she’d like to carve some pumpkins.”

“Good idea.” You smile at the notion and take the place beside your prosthetic clad friend, “I haven’t been back in a while, I'd be nice to see them again.”

“Let's invite them over then,” Neil’s voice calls from through the closed door causing your smile to grow.

It took nearly 30 for the three of them to arrive with Soda on Maple’s hip. Her squirming quickly got her placed on the ground before she ran towards your group, immediately latching to Sal.

She glanced around the group for a moment before meeting your gaze and attaching herself to you. “Awnty!”

“Aww, look at you Soda you’re so big!” The small girl giggled in your arms as you spun her around much to the amusement of your friends. “Do you want to go carve some pumpkins?” You spinning halts as you question the smiling girl who nodded quickly as she was placed onto the ground once more

The group of you migrated to the backyard where you had set up more or less a place to carve pumpkins, between the house and the back shed. Soda almost immediately grabbed onto one of the large pumpkins, claiming it as hers. With a chuckle, you grabbed the pumpkin and brought it over to the trap you had set up while the others did the same with their own.

“Do you know what you’re going to make Soda?” Sal questioned as he positioned himself on the tarp, she nods quickly as you begin cutting the top off. “Oh really, what are you going to make?”

Her hair flops around sporadically as she shakes her head, “Not tellwin.” Sal tilts his head in confusion at you as Soda starts going ham on the pumpkin guts. “Hey Awnty?” she eventually brings her head back up after throwing the guts around to look at you.

“Yea, what’s up Kiddo?” you question as you bring your hand up to wipe a bit of pumpkin off her cheek.

She leans in, glancing around the messy circle before attempting to whisper to you, “Cwan you help me make Uncy Saw?” You smile and nod moving between the pumpkin and Sal to block his view.

“Hey! What’s going on over there?!” Larry called from the other side of Sal, shifting in his spot to try and look passed you.

Turning your head you still your tongue out at the long hair boy, “Nothing, Carve your pumpkin.”

…

It took nearly an hour to get something that you and Soda agreed looked at least similar to your beloved blue-haired friend. By that point in the afternoon, your hands were killing you and Soda had more or less ditched you to go find bugs with Larry leaving you alone to evaluate your work. Slowly Sal walked up behind you and peered down at the Sal inspired pumpkin.

“Is that supposed to be me?” he questions, crouching beside your seated form.

You nod, smiling fondly and the mostly mangled fruit, “Yea, it was Soda’s idea.” Glancing over you lightly push Sal away as Soda came rushing over. “Hey Crawler, want to show Uncle Sal your pumpkin?” she nods excitedly, grabbing Sal’s arm as she excitedly points at your creation.

“Look Sawy Fawce, it you” Sal affectionately ruffles her hair, kneeling beside you both.

“Looks great Soda”
