julian and garak’s dynamic surrounding julian’s augmentation is just a massive pile of potential angst

like, garak comes from a species that’s defining trait and cultural core is being useful to the state. julian is upset that his parents modified him, which made him useful to his state. there’s gonna be a lot of clash of opinions there.

julian is upset because his parents never let jules come into his own. he feels like he killed the boy he was before, and for someone who just wants to help and save, well, it’s devastating. garak, of course, cannot understand it from this point of view. he believes that making someone who can’t be useful (someone who’s slow, awkward, etc.) into being useful is awesome! now they can serve the state, just as julian is doing! he says as much, which obviously makes julian angry.

it’s not until julian explains it in the way that his augmentations make his parent’s love and appreciation feel conditional on him being useful/impressive that garak understands the violation that julian feels. because tain did the exact same thing to him.

anyway this is really badly thought out and i think it could’ve been better but psssh yolo

Rwby stannies stop blaming Crunchyroll for why volume 10 is not greenlit.

Did Crunchyroll tell Roosterteeth to waste millions on Gen:lock? Did they tell Roosterteeth to hire expensive hollywood actors? Did they tell Roosterteeth to work on 5 animated shows concurrently and spread their animation department thin? Did they tell Roosterte - I mean "Crwby" to animate the Justice League crossover movies and delay volume 9? Did they tell "Crwby" to waste time and resources on creating assets that will never be used again? Did they tell Roosterteeth to abuse and exploit and underpay their employees? Did they tell Burnie Burns to buy 3 customizable teslas?

Are all your answers no? Now stop begging Crunchyroll to fund volume 10. Look at how High Guardian Spice turned out? Animation is expensive. Do you honestly believe they have money to shill like that?

If you want someone to blame, blame Kerry for being an inept and indecisive showrunner and wasting his teams' resources. Blame the writers for never considering the "limited resources" when they write the scripts and plan for the next volume. Blame Matt Hullum, the former CEO and producer in Rwby who was called out by name in during the crunch controversy. Blame Burnie Burns, wasting money on 3 teslas that could've gone to the overworked and underpaid employees. Blame Roosterteeth management tm (which includes Barbara).

Roosterteeth's (and by extension, Crwby's) shitty financial decision-making has finally caught up to them. This is a problem of their own doing. So stop blaming a third party and start holding the real perpetrators accountable.

I had a rough night. My periods continue to be the worst, but last night after CBD for the intense pain, I burrito'ed myself between the heating pad and the electric blanket, which covered most of the pain areas.

Although I was up and down and felt like I was bleeding out, I managed to wake up (late ugg) but with less pain.

Today I had a triple shot energy drink my friend gave me. 90 cals 9g protein.

Then I worked. And worked out. A dumbell circuit, step workout and a short gluten workout. Then I took a luxurious shower and lotion.... and put my waist trainer on. Open at the bottom to not pressure my screaming uterus.

Oo, that lady who snarkily commented YoU hAvE tO cHaNgE yOuR LiFeSTyLe is gonna be so fucking pissed.

Idk. If you ever feel like you need to do that to some internet stranger.....DON'T.

You don't know what anyone is suffering. What I go thru on the daily. If you don't like what you read, how about you fuck all the way off?! How about that.

Especially if you are not a follower of the blog.

Life is hard, why do people insist on making it fucking harder on strangers?

So it has been awhile. That bitch made me feel unworthy of wearing a waist trainer that I BOUGHT & PAID for, dieted to fit into, and had on hand. But I have it on today because I deserve to use ALL the tools at my disposal.

So if you don't like it, fuck off. What now? Exactly motherfucker. 💯 Fucking nothing.

120 pounds down, shooting for a new low on this journey.... and currently a badass MFer, killing weights, cardio, work, AND FT CAREGIVING!

I can't wait til I can say 130 pounds down!
