bad buddy fandom getting-to-know-you meme ):)
template by @fiercynn, tagged by @hereforlou! this is exciting, thank you so much for tagging me <3
name and whatever you want to share about yourself
i'm (na)tasha, a freelance artist from eastern europe, i really love mountains, lemons, teal colour and when it's hot as hell outside. you might know me from c-drama/novel fandoms - that's what i mostly draw on my main blog (which i'm being weirdly secretive about, but if you want to know the url you can message me about it off anon)
when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom?
episode 5 was trending on here and a mutual who abandoned tumblr almost completely suddenly came back to reblog like 15 rooftop kiss gifsets in a row, scream in tags and then disappear again which made me go huh. what's all this then. lemme check out the first episode. and then by the time episode 6 aired a few days later i'd been already all caught up (can't remember exactly but since i have a tendency towards binge-watching i have a suspicion i watched all five episodes nearly in one sitting). for some personal reasons i'd rather not get into i never got a chance to create anything back then when it was airing and after, and so here i am finally joining the fandom more than a year later!
favorite ship(s)
(apart from the obvious) 📢📢📢TONGYOD📢📢📢 !!! also i was never big on crossover ships but then our skyy 2 happened and altered my brain chemistry
favorite character(s)
sometimes it's pran, sometimes it's pat. i don't control the part of my brain that decides which one of them to hyperfixate on out of the blue
favorite episode(s)
(again, apart from the obvious) i really love episodes 2-4 where they get to reunite and just hang out with each other. i love you bus stop shenanigans. also episode 11 because i'm a sucker for beach episodes, especially when they are mellow and bittersweet
favorite scene(s)
episode 8 balcony scene my beloved. inkpa darkroom confession scene and the way love's voice was trembling as she was on the verge of crying. also that bit in episode 11 where pat wakes up alone, goes out and sees pran playing the guitar outside and pran turns to greet him and SMILES SO SO BIG ugh my heart is doing somersaults as i'm typing this
one thing you would change about the show if you could
put pat in crop tops. cmon
what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people?

#BADBUDDYREWATCH
Ep 11
Okay, first, I can't believe Pat and Pran went down from the rooftop and left their dorms to go to the bus without stopping off to pack a bag 😄
But all jokes aside, I love love love that we got confirmation straight away that Pat had told Pran about what his dad did. Not only that but he obviously had apologised/fretted over how Pran would feel about it again and again because Pran tells him 'enough'. And that Pran is still there with Pat despite everything with their parents shows the strength of their convictions with each other.
"We can't change what happened. We can just live with it." I just realised that this ep is bookended with more than just the same clothes - what Pran is saying here is echoed at the end with Tong's 'One man can't change the world, but the world can't change me either'. The nuance from Tong, though, is instead of just 'living with it', Tong chooses to actively do what he wants despite it not having an impact on others, and that's what Pat and Pran learn by the end. But it's so interesting that Pran basically has the same perspective in the beginning.
Pat pulling Pran onto his shoulder so that he won't see Pat crying. 😭 I think Pat already knows here that running away isn't the answer - him saying 'I can't live with it so I'm going to run away with you to a place where people will accept us together' is just putting on a front. He might want that, but the tear shows he knows deep down it's not a permanent solution.
"Being with you already feels like freedom" 😭😭😭
Pat's question about Junior, "So he's sulking because he wants to stay longer?" is actually a premonition of how Pat will act later.
Pat's SO CHEESY! 😄 but Pran loves it so much!
Elephant shirt my beloved!
I just adore that they bicker and fight over every little thing. It's their language. Or it's Pran scolding Pat and Pat teasing Pran and their ensuing bickering because of it. And it happens in this whole ep and I think which is why I love it so much. Because we really see them at their most domestic - this is their dynamic, just them, no pretences, and they don't feel pushed away or less loved from the treatment they get from each other, they do it all the while knowing how much they love and have chosen each other.
Junior "You don't have to pound it so hard"...not understanding he made the most incredible innuendo comment.
Sneaky fucking Pran rises again. Pat asks if it's spicy. Instead of being honest and saying it is, or lying and saying it isn't, Pran simply states "I know you don't like spicy food". And then feeds the spicy sauce to Pat. Peak gremlin 😄
I have very mixed feelings about the talk on the beach between Pran and Junior's mum...but that's for personal reasons I guess.
And then we get that bar scene which contains so much it gives me whiplash. First I swear Ohm and Nanon show through when they're drinking the beer and burping afterwards. Then the English song feels like an odd choice and which kind of pulls me out of the scene a bit - I don't see why they didn't use an acoustic version of a Thai song. And then we get That Look™ from Pat to Pran as Pran is looking wistfully to the musician. And finally, Pran's wistful look takes me back to the conversation on the beach with Junior's mum and I just feel irked at all these parents who crush their children's dreams because they think it's not right for them or not profitable or not whatever else. (and I know that's not the main point of the conversation but it hits close to my heart, so I pick up on it more). And I'm just so glad that later Pran includes wanting to be a musician in his answer to what he wants to do after he's graduated.
Sulking Pat!
Look, I know I keep harping on about it, but this is how you incorporate product placement into the story. Those seaweed snacks helped that scene - it's a prop that would have worked even if it had been an unbranded snack. Pran used it as an olive branch but it had the added bonus of connecting Pat and Pran (and us) back to the very beginning of their relationship - with the beginning of the bet - giving them (and us) a way to reflect back on where they started and how far they've come.
I love watching all these Thai and other Asian dramas but I am sad sometimes that I miss some nuance in the language translation. I wish I could have a Thai speaker sit down with me and talk me through that kiss scene because I'm sure there's more in there that we're missing.
When I first watched the kiss, though, I thought the pause that Pran made after pulling Pat to him was a bit odd...but just now it made me think of Pran talking about the 'hesitation' before a confession and I think this moment gives the same excited anticipation energy that he talks about there, and which is why he chooses to pause before the kiss.
I don't think we as a collective fandom talk enough about the noise Pat makes at 14:40 in part 3.
Pran Parakul '10/10' Siridichawat. He's so fucking smug.
How on Earth did we get our collective knickers in a twist about the possibility of Pat and Pran breaking up?! I mean, Pat says it himself - "You never leave me. You always fight alongside me." They were basically telling us not to worry, that even when they go back and confront the fallout of their parents finding out, they'll stand by each other, fight alongside each other. 🤦🏽‍♀️
THE FUCKING SONG! (I can't believe I didn't notice straight away first time round that it was the theme song - I was so engrossed in watching the flashbacks 😭).
Ahhhhhhh this ep!!!

Aoba Tsumugi x Sakasaki Natsume || "Don't do it, please."
Warnings: Attempted suicide
Tumblr media
Things can be rough for everybody. Some get a solution, and some suffer. For a poor unfortunate soul like Natsume, his life was full of suffering. Why must these things happen to him? Can he even keep up the act that he's fine? That he can solve his problems?? After what happened to the 5 eccentrics, self-doubt, he felt empty. What's worth living in?
Sometimes Natsume's patience can be short, and his patience was running out to think that there was gonna be hope that his life would improve, it's wrong to be impatient but it's best if he just disappeared, it may be a little selfish to leave SWITCH with Tsumugi and Sora, it's not like people would care if a single piece of sand was gone in a beach full of sand, or for short. Suicide is his only last resort.
As he climbed the stairs leading to the school rooftop, each step made him consider living, but he shouldn't hesitate like that. This decision is permanent, and he shouldn't back out. He gritted his teeth as he nearly got into the school rooftop. Hopefully, no one got here before him. That would be embarrassing.
He finally reached the rooftop.
As he was about to take off his shoes, he noticed a tall figure leaning near the school railings. Did he have the same plans as Natsume? As Natsume stepped closer to the figure, the more he got closer, the more the figure started to be more recognizable. The tall man with messy hair and glasses wore a blue cardigan.
Natsume couldn't believe it. This mophead got here before Natsume himself?! Wait... Tsumugi?! What is his Senpai doing here? Of course, Natsume knew that Tsumugi was mentally struggling, but he didn't know he was on his limits. Natsume gritted his teeth, preparing to shout at Tsumugi.
"Hey! Don't do it, please!" Said Natsume.
It caught the guy with messy hair's attention, as he turned around, puffy red tired eyes, those eyes suddenly widened and looked at Natsume.
What? What did Natsume just do? Why did he just stop Tsumugi? He doesn't care. That mophead sucks. They both suffered the same pains and wounds caused by this school, I guess they were similar...
Silence filled the atmosphere. What only could be heard was Tsumugi's silent crying, and his glasses started fogging up.
"Don't... Don't do it, Senpai.." Natsume's lips moved, and the thing he said wasn't that loud, but Natsume didn't want Tsumugi to die. He had more things to improve at, he has worth! Unlike Natsume...
No, why was Natsume so negative of himself? This is probably what Tsumugi thinks. He was also surprised to see Natsume here.
"Senpai. If you would please consider, would you mind talking about your problems with me?"
That was Tsumugi's breaking point. Of course, he didn't mind but talking about his problems was hard, one single question could make him break down, "are you okay?" Tsumugi of course knew he wasn't but, someone showing concern for him made him feel mixed signals.
Natsume took the sign that Tsumugi wasn't going to speak, so he went closer to Tsumugi and just hugged him slowly patting his back, Tsumugi could feel himself tear up again from Natsume's sudden actions, he wanted to say "please let me die." So bad... But he couldn't.
This was oddly comforting for each other. But this made Natsume realize 2 things. Number one: He cannot commit suicide now. Number two: and the reason for that is, if Tsumugi ever survives, Natsume would be abandoning them, and that kid Sora too. Tsumugi needed support and Natsume was the perfect one, same goes with Tsumugi always being there for Natsume, but Natsume pushes Tsumugi off, afraid to ask for assistance. Because it'll be better off if he doesn't ask for help, even from his closest friends, maybe he was scared that it'll be used as a weapon once Natsume opens up, but the more he realizes, Tsumugi is trustable, he's a sore loser with no bad intentions. Maybe he'll consider it soon after Tsumugi resorts to his normal state and get some rest.
"Senpai, please don't leave mE, SwitcH, we have a future to reacH.." What the hell?! Natsume sounded like he wanted to have a future with Tsumugi in a romantic way, no! Maybe... But no! Both of them together can be each other's support, if they were at each other's sides, they'll both be fine. This goes back to that time when they first met, Tsumugi remembered it and slightly smiled, finally hugging Natsume back.
"I'm sorry, Natsume-kun... I was such an idiot to ever consider leaving this life, my only life.." Tsumugi said, insulting himself, Natsume slightly raised his voice to say "No, don't even try to insult yourself ever agaiN Only I'm able to say rude remarks like thaT... To you..." Natsume said, he also realized something, maybe this was one of the reasons why Tsumugi wanted to die.
"Senpai... Do my wordS, or even actions hurt you that mucH...?"
Tsumugi slowly nodded, agreeing. "S-sometimes yeah... Sorry... Please don't take the blame for this! It's my fault for being sensitive!" Tsumugi replied in a panic, but it was true. Natsume can be a bit of a menace and violent, hurting Tsumugi's mental state, but it wasn't just Tsumugi, but the majority of everybody else sadly, poor Tsumugi can't take a break from society hating on him.
Natsume widened his eyes "S-sorrY. I'll be less violenT..." He said in a soft tone, hugging Tsumugi tighter. The sun was about to set.
"Senpai, let's go noW, the sun is about to seT.." Said by Natsume, as he let go of the hug, offering Tsumugi a hand to fully get up, which Tsumugi did accept, Tsumugi quickly wiped his glasses before putting them in, life was slightly better for the both of them now.
They were about to go down now, never being able to forget this moment.
They were now going down the stairs, holding each other's hands, smiling softly while looking at each other.
"Thank you, Natsume-kun..."
"Thank you too, Senpai."

bad buddy ep 5 (thoughts)
i was just gonna keep all my feelings inside of me (like pran) but i caved bc i’ve been rewatching ep 5 for DAYS and i know everyone and their mother has already talked about it and analysed it to pieces so this is just me being self-indulgent bc i just want to ramble (write?) about the things that i loved so much about this ep for my own wellbeing...and bc i can’t stop thinking about this show ;;; i prob should have done this earlier considering we’re like less than 24 hours away from ep 6 but oh well.
i’ve seen some people question how pran seemed totally fine in the morning after ep 4, but it makes total sense to me. i don’t think there was ever really a moment where pran thought pat could like him back in the same way...maybe there was some inkling of hope, but i don’t think he ever really believed it. in their high school flashback, pran mentions that pat’s always ended up with whoever he likes, so we know that pran’s seen pat with other love interests in high school (and we know how pran’s had feelings for pat since high school too). so pat liking ink, although heartbreaking for pran, isn’t really that much a of a surprise for him? he prob feels like it’s inevitable. he’s been dealing with these feelings for YEARS at this point, so it’s become easy enough to just bury what he feels and pretend like everything’s normal. he’s done it all this time already so it’s nothing new. he resigned himself to pat never liking him back a long time ago, but that doesn’t mean that pat still can’t get to him bc in the breakfast scene you can literally see this poor boy struggle so hard to be mad at pat and fail bc he’s just too soft for him. even when he’s being annoying, pat’s too cute. pran builds up all these defences, but pat always has this way of slipping through the cracks in his walls bc he’s in love with him and he just can’t help it no matter how hard he tries (or pretends) to be annoyed/mad at pat.
pran’s sketchbook full of drawings relating to pat is ADORABLE.
pat and paa’s relationship is the cutest!! they really feel like siblings, and i love all their scenes together.
i know the paa’s love guru checklist isn’t anything new for a romance drama, but i absolutely love the way they executed it in this. from the embarrassment of pat getting absolutely NO response that ink likes him in any way whatsoever (like, she very clearly showed much more interest in paa...so inkpaa when??), to meeting pran at the music shop and then it registering for him that he can tick off every single thing paa’s told him when it comes to pran (you see the way he almost involuntarily started smiling when he was watching pran with that guitar????? he’s got it bad). they killed two birds with one stone with this trope. we now know ink is not interested in him at all, but HE’s starting to realise that his feelings for pran aren’t just platonic. it was very heart fluttery rom com type stuff and i loved it.
also, pat might be confused, but it’s telling that he immediately ditched ink and paa to go pick up his drumsticks on their ‘date’. you think he would have ditched pran like that?? there’s no way whatsoever 😂 not when all pat ever does is think up ways he can spend more time with pran.
it’s actually so cute to me how, once pat’s realised that he might actually have feelings for pran, he constantly tries to confirm whether it’s really true or not. he might be kind of dense when it comes to his love life, but he’s not afraid to feel what he feels. he’s not afraid to explore (or better understand) his feelings as soon as realises he might have them. he’s just such a straightforward, sincere character.
compare what pat said in ep 1 about how pran’s mum would blame him for pran getting into a fight with how pran talks about how much his mum loves wai though :((( he knows he’ll never win against wai when it comes to pran’s parents but pat just wants to feel special to pran in some way. which is why he asks whether wai’s slept over before...and he can’t even have that. it’s also why the song they wrote together is such a big deal to him later on.
god, i adore their high school flashback scenes SO MUCH. there’s such a sense of innocence there...they’re just these two kids that want to be around each other, that want to be FRIENDS, but they can’t bc of their families. like this will obviously take on a whole new meaning later on, but for now it’s just sad bc it’s such a pure, simple wish for the both of them that that can’t have. yet, they’re still drawn to each other. and it’s cute how it’s always music that’s bringing them together. back then when they were in the school band, and again in the present to compete in the freshy day concert (and when pat gave pran back his guitar). it’s music, specifically their song, that ties them together.
i’m also in love with the way that we keep getting these little glimpses of the past with the flashbacks. like each new ep, we get another puzzle piece to put into place as we slowly piece together what happened back then. why pran ended up having to transfer (bc i think we all know that it’s more than just pat and pran being in the same band together), and just how close they really were.
i also love how perceptive paa is when it comes to her brother. it’s so sweet.
the concert performance where pran plays their song and pat starts realising that all his past memories hold a much deeper meaning to him than he originally thought is just a+++ i love the way he starts out remembering all these happy, fond memories (them writing the song together, them playing together in their music room), but as SOON as pran turns to wai and they start smiling and playing their instruments at each other, he remembers that pran used to look at HIM that way (the flashback where you see pran looking down at pat and smiling at him from pat’s pov where he’s playing the drums DEVASTATED me), and his memories take a darker turn (pran’s parents arriving and pran leaving the stage so they can’t even finish their song together, the last time they saw each other before pran got transferred). of course it’s jealousy, but it runs so much deeper than that.
ink is the BEST. the female characters on this show are absolutely wonderful. from the teaser, i had always assumed that pat would ‘confess’ to her earlier in the ep, but i kind of love that he did it here bc it shows that he didn’t just move on/rebound with pran after being rejected. he’s been harbouring these feelings for pran for so long without realising, but now it’s all hitting him like a ton of bricks and he’s just so confused. esp when all this time he thought it was INK that he had feelings for (and maybe he even kind of did in high school, but that’s clearly not the case anymore). i love that ink just gets it. understands poor pat is going through it rn, needs to offload, and it’s not really her that he’s actually into. i also really love that pat apologises to her after she rejects him since he really could have played with her feelings too had she liked him back in that way. their friendship is just so wholesome :’)
one of my fave things about this ep is how it escalates. it starts of cute and light (esp after the angst of the ep 4 ending), but then gets progressively more angsty and tension heavy as pat slowly realises and comes to terms with his feelings. the last 16 mins of this ep are a work of ART. everything that’s happened in this ep was all for this confrontation and it gives me goosebumps just thinking about how amazingly executed everything is.
so let’s talk about the fight scene!! what gets me about this is that pat wasn’t even waiting for pran to fight him. he wouldn’t have bought the condensed milk for pran if he was there to fight. he literally just wanted to be with him. after losing the contest to the architecture faculty (to the song THEY wrote together), seeing pran and wai performing to completion all happy, having to back down from the previous fight at wai’s bar, getting drunk, and the steady realisation that he actually has feelings for pran...ALL HE WANTS is to spend time with pran. he’s even trying to sober himself up while he waits.
but then he checks his phone and sees the ig story and it’s another reminder of everything that he can’t have with pran. he can’t hang out with him like that in public like wai can, let alone post about it on ig for everyone to see. and i think this is where it really starts to hit pat just how unfair all of this really is. he’s bitterly jealous of wai, but that jealousy isn’t just bc he’s possessive, or thinks that pran is his in any way. it’s bc wai gets to have all these simple moments with pran. gets to go over to his house, have pran’s mum love him, sing their song together, hang out with him in public, post about their relationship on ig, etc.
so when he sees wai driving pran back home, it’s like the last straw for him. in his eyes, wai is encroaching on pat/pran’s territory (the dorms). the one place where pat and pran can be themselves without worrying about anybody else. where they don’t have to pretend that they hate each other. these feelings have been festering inside of him, and though it’s taken him much longer to realise his feelings than pran, pat can’t sit on them or hide them away the way that pran can. he’s ready to explode. so the only trigger he needs is pran putting up the act again in front of wai, pretending like there’s nothing between them. it’s the one thing that pat’s most insecure about. pat’s such a confident person in everything else that it must be kind of unsettling for him to feel inferior like this bc they have to keep their relationship a secret. he didn’t come to fight but bc wai’s there, pran expects them to play their roles, but pat’s no longer following the script. he’s so far gone, so angry and jealous, that he can’t hold it inside anymore.
the tension in this scene is fantastic. the first time i watched it, i was SO worried that pat was gonna do something stupid bc he seemed crazed (ohm is soooooo good in this scene wow), but i’m glad that it didn’t turn out the way i was thinking. despite how mad he is, pat’s generally on the defensive with pran. he literally put his hands up in front of him when pran grabs shirt (he really doesn’t want to fight/hurt pran), and he only punches wai when wai punches him first.
then when it’s all said and done, the tension melts away, and the reality of what happens hits in and it hurts. it hurts bc pat has never truly wanted to fight pran/make pran angry. when he takes out the condensed milk, it’s like another reminder of why he even waited for pran in the first place. the thing is, pat is constantly doing these nice gestures for pran all bc he just wants to see him (and care for him), but he always needs an excuse. he can’t just go over to pran’s place bc he WANTS to like any of pran’s other friends. it always has to be under the guise of something else (eg. bruise cream, makeup remover, earphones, medicine, lost keys, condensed milk, etc.). and the realisation of that, esp knowing now that he has romantic feelings for pran, stings.
it’s also why the song is as important to him as it is. it’s the one piece of the two of them that he could say was theirs. the one thing that they created together, all by themselves, untouched by their family rivalry. but pran sang it (uninterrupted this time) with wai. replaced him with wai, who already gets all the perks of being in pran’s life that pat can never have bc of every external force pulling them apart.
i love that he really tries to sober himself up after this. that he has the presence of mind to take a shower to clear his head and heart (and prob to smell nice for pran too 😭), and to figure out what to say to pran after what happened. pat thinks and acts with his heart, but he also knows when he needs to calm down and reevaluate himself. he doesn’t want this to end in a fight.
what can i even say about the infamous rooftop scene at this point that hasn’t already been said a millions times over?? i have watched this scene so many times that it’s a wonder it hasn’t been tattooed into the folds of my brain yet. it’s just so BEAUTIFUL.
when he brings up the song, we know it’s important and he means it, but when he says “i hate to see you play it with someone else”, he’s clearly talking about more than just the song. it’s a coded way of saying that he doesn’t like seeing pran with other people in the way that he can’t be with pran. but it’s like he’s still not daring to say what he really means out loud and pran knows it. pran sees it as another one of the jokes/misdirects that he’s so used to from pat, and he calls him out on it with the “pat, you’ve got to stop doing this to me, we’re not a thing, we’re not even friends” line.
not to mention, he thinks that pat’s still courting ink at this point. pat’s been so strange this whole ep, it must have been so confusing for pran since he had no idea about any of the inner turmoil pat’s been going through the past few days.
when pat starts with the “when you’re away, i was so damn happy” you can see the heartbreak in pran and it’s so painful. how he looks away when pat starts listing the reasons he was happy pran wasn’t there...but then he hits him with the “it was so depressingly lonely” and you see the look in pran’s eyes change as he looks back at pat, like he’s only now realising it wasn’t just him that was hurting this whole time (nanon is PHENOMENAL). honestly, this line holds so much more meaning when you rewatch ep 1 again and see the expressions on their faces when they see each other again for the first time in years. i love when shows do this. when they introduce something later down the line that gives a significance to an interaction that didn’t hold as much meaning initially, or that you brushed past previously. i also love that the way he goes from “i was so damn happy” to “i was depressingly lonely” is the opposite of pat’s usual jokes/misdirects. instead of taking the hope away from pran at the end, he gives it back to him this time.
i think it’s safe to say that he’s always been in love/had feelings for pran, but never really given himself the chance to think about those feelings deeply until he started seeing all his past interactions with pran under a different lens. but they’ve likely always been there, which is why it hits him so hard JUST how much pran means to him, and just how lonely and devoid of pran he’s been over the years they weren’t together.
ALSO, if you think about it, it’s really their parents fault that they became so obsessed with each other in the first place?? imagine constantly having to compete and keep up to date with the boy next door. you’d have to know just about everything about him. they were essentially brainwashed by their parents to hate each other, but bc they’re decent human beings who grew up and realised that there was no substance behind that hatred (esp after pran saved paa), they started to get to know each other better. they just got caught in the crossfire of their parents’ war with one another. it breaks my heart that their parents have given them so much trauma that they’re so afraid (esp pran) that someone will find out about their relationship.
when i watched this the first time, i thought pran was the first to cry...but on closer inspection it was actually pat and that makes me feel some kind of way :(
“why, do you want us to be friends?” “no”. i will NEVER be over this. ever ever ever.
the hesitancy before the kiss ties back to their whole conversation in that high school flashback about the nervousness and insecurity of not knowing whether it’ll turn out good or bad and it adds so much more depth to this already stunning scene. the hesitation shows that they KNOW what this means. they’re crossing this invisible line that they’ve been toeing all this time, and they can’t take it back once it’s done. pat can’t joke/flirt like it doesn’t mean anything after this. pran might try to hide his feelings away, but he can’t deny that he ever gave in (pat won’t ever let him). once it’s done, it’s done. but nothing can stop the full force of their feelings at this point, even if they know it’s impossible. pran can’t push this feeling down anymore bc it’s too overwhelming. he’s wanted this for so long. like in ep 4 where he lets himself have this one moment of vulnerability (to cry), he pulls pat back into the kiss...just this one moment where he can give in to his feelings properly before everything comes crashing down to earth. but pran kissing pat back immediately also shows pat just how much pran wants it too even if he won’t say it out loud.
i love that their kiss suits their dynamic perfectly. it’s always this give and take between them. pat acts first (as he always does)...and his intention is slightly different bc he’s testing the waters, confirming that his feelings for pran are really what he thinks they are. pran already knows how he feels so he takes action bc he’s never been a passive participant in their relationship either. it’s genuinely one of the reasons that i love the both of them so much. everything is on an equal footing with them. it’s my fave kind of relationship dynamic.
the rock score they used for this scene is also so perfect bc the drums and guitar playing represents the both of them coming together, and it echoes back to how music is always the thing that brings them back together again in some way.
notice how after pat kisses pran (before pran pulls him back again), his eyes are still closed, but pran opens his first. it’s like it symbolises that he’s the one that’s more aware of the reality of their situation.
they’re just at such different stages at this point. pat has JUST woken up to his feelings, so the kiss is everything clicking into place for him. him realising that THIS is how it’s supposed to feel...and that his feelings are reciprocated!! pran, on the other hand, has known how he’s felt about pat for so long now that he’s had all the time in the world to think about the consequences of what would happen if they were hypothetically in a relationship (since i don’t think he ever truly believed they would ever be in one until this moment). esp since pran was the one that was hurt the most from those consequences when he was transferred in high school.
it’s the heartbreak of pran finally having what his heart wants, but knowing realistically that it’s not enough. he’d likely made peace with pat never feeling anything back for him years ago only for this to happen. but it’s so much worse when you’ve gotten a taste of something that you can’t have bc now you know what it’s like. to someone like pran, who cares so much about the people around him (always trying to please his family and friends), unrequited love is better than reciprocated love. if it’s unrequited, he’s the only one that’s suffering. but if the both of them have feelings for each other, if they’re both in love, then the future is only going to bring them both misery. pran’s been though this once before, and he can’t go through it again. he esp doesn’t want PAT to have to go through it too. so he walks away, pushing the feelings down again bc he can’t let anyone else find out.
pat and pran are the perfect example of an ‘opposites attract’ relationship done well. pran is a perpetual worrier. he’s constantly thinking about the future. constantly assessing the pros and cons of a situation. which is also why it’s not exactly surprising that he realised his feelings for pat so early on. he’s the type of person that thinks about all types of possibilities and outcomes (i’m sure he catastrophizes a lot too) in any given situation. and he’s introspective. but he hides that all inside himself. pat, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. he goes with the flow. lives in the moment. is extremely easygoing. he only thinks about problems when they happen, and doesn’t dwell in ‘what ifs’. i think a great example of their different mindsets is in ep 3 when they find out that their sponsorship will only cover half of the budget for the bus stop. pran’s immediately worried about how they’re gonna get the rest of the funding, whilst pat cracks jokes and is all “don’t worry, you’ll figure something out soon” to him. it’s why their expressions in the kiss scene esp make so much sense. pat, living in the present, sees the potential of the two of them. pran, living in the future, sees the end of them bc of all the external factors he knows will keep them apart.
anyway, my chest is still aching about it now and it’s almost been a whole week since this ep. but the first time i watched it, i absolutely bawled my eyes out like a BABY as soon as the ep was over. no kiss scene has ever gotten to me like that but this was so exquisitely crafted...and the build up was so exceptional, it was always gonna make me cry. and the ACTING...don’t even get me started on the acting bc i could rave about their performances for days ;;;
nanon’s so expressive. he breathes so much life into pran as a character. i love every little quirk of his, and i just love how he acts with such clarity. pran’s intentions and feelings are always so clear. it never feels like acting.
and ohm!! my fave thing about ohm is his line delivery. he has this way of making his voice softer with certain lines, or his voice waver, and it gives the lines he emphasises such impact (like ”come here” or “i was depressingly lonely” or “no”).
it still kind of blows my mind sometimes that we really got these two award winning actors, with insanely good chemistry to act in a bl helmed by p’aof. and the fact that it’s been so incredible so far?? we’ve been blessed.
i’m so excited for ep 6, although i know that we have more angst to come (but hopefully at least a bit more fluff in the next few eps or so with the bet coming into play)!! of course they’d make a bet like that. all they know is how to compete with one another, so it seems very much in character for the two of them to play this game (and fail lbr). it’s wild to me that so much has already happened and we’re still only 5 eps in...

Why is it that I know more about my besties than my LIs?
Let’s break it down, shall we?
One of the things that appeals most about the Angie route to me is how much we get to know her if she’s our bestie before becoming a LI. We have deep, meaningful conversations, we learn about her family, job, interests, dating history and so on (the same goes for Thabi and Kobi or Cora, if on bestie route). That’s what I’m interested in when I’m dating someone. And we barely get those things while coupled up with the other LIs.
If we’re doing a James route, we’re golden. You get those chats from the first few episodes like the date in the rooftop terrace right before the hot tub date. So you get the deep meaningful conversations and the hot sexy scenes plus the angst of getting separated then reunited and being basically the only long-lived couple throughout the season. Even so, I wouldn’t mind learning more about him as the latest episodes don’t reveal much more stuff.
Will appeals to me the most because I appreciate his chat and his brain. He has a way of framing and saying things that I do think is beautiful and like I mentioned before in other posts he’s clearly the best brain when it comes to playing the Love Island game, so it’s even more exciting in a sense of, “is he actually into me or is he with me because he thinks we can get to the final?” I like being kept on my toes, I guess. Plus he’s pretty and sexy. But after we recouple with him the second time there isn’t a lot more we get to find out (so far).
Youcef is another interesting case because there is definitely chemistry there but we don’t get the chance to be with him right off the bat so we’re given interactions and little tidbits along the way, like if we give him that massage or let him help us with the dress. There’s flirty vibes all around but also deep chats and chances to learn what makes him tick and he becomes a richer, more well-rounded character as it goes. Coupling up with him before the final would be very satisfying for me.
Even Tom gets some of my love and admiration in this, because he comes in as one thing, this stuffy, rich kid, my-father-thinks-this whole shtick to letting go of that to become another version or, as he says, his true self. He’s a lot less self conscious and more at ease in the last few episodes and it’s not about the tie dye shirt. His speech pattern has changed somewhat, the scene in the hideaway during the water bottle battle has him literally lying down on his back with his legs propped up against the wall and the Tom that first came in would never have done that before. And we get some back history on him from the date and actually being coupled up in the first day after the recoupling he first chooses us.
My biggest grievance here is Bruno. That man would’ve been perfect for me, but I still feel like I don’t know who he is, even after being coupled up for long stretches. In fact, I think I learned more about him when I’m coupled up with James because then Bruno is the one coming in to help us with the dress instead of Youcef and we get to chat with him for a bit about how he got into comedy and his dating life. Even after that thing in the Beach Hut after we watch his date with Cora and we talk about how we generally don’t have deep chats I still feel like that wasn’t enough. It’s more of a chance for MC to express herself and see his reaction to it than about him. And don’t get me wrong, I like putting out more of what I’m about. But then let me learn more about this person I’m coupled up with.
The same goes for Najuma. She’s flirty and fiery and the sexy scenes are #fire. But again I feel like I know more about her when she’s coupled up with Youcef than when we’re together. And even then it’s more about Youcef than Najuma herself. Who is she, really? I want to know these things if I’m dating someone.
Even Oliver, late arrival and all, gets more exposition and depth. He loves cats and all animals; he’s a nature guy; he lives alone but doesn’t like being lonely; he loves his family and, most of all, his grandma; he likes books on art and his ancestry; he travels for fairs as a tattoo artist and misses his cat; he prefers being friends first (and friends after, if possible), and so on. I feel like that’s more than we know about Bruno and Najuma collectively.
When I’m dating someone, I want to be their best friend (but then that’s part of being a demi, I guess). I want to learn as much as I can so that I fall in love with them. What’s the point of being coupled up with someone in the Villa if we’re not gonna have the chance to learn who they really are? If it’s just for the sex and the breakfasts together, no wonder I found myself falling harder for Angie than anyone else. I also never even played the whole Kobi friendship route because it would just frustrate the hell out of me that I can’t be with him in the end.

snk cast x gn!reader + cute summertime romance
Tumblr media
18+ ONLY, MINORS DO NOT INTERACT, PLEASE!
☼ — ft. Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Jean, Levi, Hanji, & Erwin (all characters are 18+)
☼ — genre: pure fluff + gn!reader x character, warnings: mentions of vandalism/petty crime, alcohol mentions
☼ — a/n: please enjoy my first snk x reader content :)
E R E N
Fills his time with a weird mix of volunteering around the city and committing blatant acts of vandalism
He spends his days helping out at the youth shelter and nights scribbling graffiti anywhere he can find a spot. Takes you to spray-paint every underpass you come across
Unnaturally good at arcade games and wins you lots of little random plushies from the claw machines. Your favorite is an angry-looking brown bear that you can’t help but think resembles him
Loves to stay up late and discover new parts of the city with you. Has a bad habit of falling asleep on your shoulder wherever you are though, when he finally runs out of energy
Even though he tries to play it off like he’s too cool for them, insists that you two take cute photobooth pictures together and keeps his favorite of them in his wallet
A R M I N
Practically lives at the beach during the summer. The two of you plan out your days there in advance so your able to visit the different tide pools and see various sea creatures.
Has a strong sweet tooth. He’s a huge fan of any type of frozen treat, but is extremely partial to slushies. In at least half the pictures you get of your summertime adventures, his mouth is stained teal from the blue-raspberry flavor he always buys.
Gets surprisingly tan during the summer, due to the fact that he’s outside whenever possible. Even when studying, he prefers to do so at parks around where he lives rather than indoors. His hair bleaches out a little further as well.
Willing to go to parties with you when the two of you are invited by mutual friends, but tends to slip outside to the porch after the first hour. More often than not, the two of you wind up ditching all together and heading off to find someplace to get late night food.
He brings you to visit his grandfather during the summertime and the two of you help him out with repairs around the house. Being around the two people he loves the most brings out Armin’s talkative side and the three of you spend your vacation days swapping stories over glasses of iced tea.
M I K A S A
Busy during the summer, so you can’t meet as much as would like
Part of her gym’s regional kickboxing team and helps teach part time. You go to all her matches and cheer till your voice gives out. She tells you that you don’t have to come, but secretly is so, so grateful that you do
On days when you’re both free, you try out all the best brunch places in the city. Mikasa prefers small family-owned businesses. The two of you quickly become regulars at your favorite spots
Sends you voice messages when you are apart ever since you said that you liked to hear her voice. She’s adorably awkward in them, usually just telling you about whatever she’s doing at the time and how much she misses you
Gets misty-eyed when you show up at the airport with flowers for her when she gets back home. Squeezes you till your out of breath and lifts off the ground a little bit when you hug again after your time apart.
J E A N
The actual best at planning a fun day full of activities
Busts his ass working at a couple part time jobs most days, but makes up for how busy is by making sure you two have the best possible time and do the most when you’re together
The type to have a bucket list for all the different activities he thinks you guys should do together. He puts a lot of effort into creating it with you. The two of you decorate two matching posters so that each of you has a copy.
A little bit of a sucker for cliches: ice cream dates and visiting waterparks. He’s a romantic at heart and with you he feels like he can finally participate in all the classic lovey-dovey activities couples do.
One of those people who acts like an influencer despite the fact that he’s only followed by family and friends. Takes super high quality pics of you so he can brag about how great his s/o is. Took a few photography classes in college and it shows. Every photo he takes of you looks amazing because you can tell just how enamored he is with you.
King of matching couple fits. Loves when the two of you wear coordinating colors or even just similar accessories.
L E V I
Not a fan of hot weather, so prefers to hang out in the evenings or early mornings when it’s cooler (which works well with the fact that he has to work most days).
Has no clue what to do during the summer, besides what you two always do, but does his best
You two go for early morning runs at his suggestion and then get breakfast afterwards. There’s a smoothie place down the block from the park that you frequent, with different local fruit specials each week.
He brings you to his favorite tea shop and you two slowly drink your way through their summer refresher menu throughout the season. You learn
Is willing to go to the beach, but be prepared to cover the man with sunscreen, because he burns. Since he knows that he won’t encounter anyone from work, he sometimes wears a large sunhat for extra UV protection.
When your vacation time finally lines up, the two of you get out of the city and head to the charming town where his mother lives. You get to help Kuchel in her garden and listen to her stories about adorable young Levi.
While he’s not extremely enthusiastic about summer as a season, he does find it far more enjoyable when he gets to spend it with you
H A N J I
Lives for traveling during the summer months, half for fun and half for their work as part of an anthropological research team. Whenever they can’t bring you along, expect lots of silly, cheesy postcards and many late night phone calls.
Thinks that camping is an absolute must. You two go on hikes together to find the best places to camp. Teaches you all sorts of cool facts about the different areas you are in. Likes when the two of you get “lost” and have to navigate back with a compass (and a park map as backup).
Makes their own homemade juice blends (some better than others) and freezes them into popsicles. Brings you them and other snacks when you’re working.
Stays up late with you and points out different constellations while you drink hot cocoa on the rooftop of their apartment building. While you don’t understand everything they are explaining to you, you love to watch their excited expression and enthusiasm as they tell you all about the world.
E R W I N
Glamorous cultural events are Erwin’s favorite part of the summertime
Expect to to be brought to opening ceremonies, christenings of cruise ships, and wine tastings
Despite the fancy events, Erwin makes sure you don’t feel too out of place by spending the evenings shit talking the other guests with you, and trying to guess who is sleeping with who and who is going to get drunk and ruin the evening
Insists that you get out of the city as often as possible, so expect a lot of weekend getaways
As much as he likes to do things with you, he can also appreciate an afternoon spent drinking sangria and reading by the poolside (a private pool, of course. He can’t resist asking you to put sunblock on his back (half because he actually needs the help, half just to see you blush at the request).
Owns a sleek vintage convertible that he’s only able to drive in the warmer months. Likes to pick you up from work in it while still dressed in his impeccably sharp suit from the office, just to see the looks on your coworkers faces

His Kitten
Pairing: Niragi x Reader
Rating: (M) for language and explicit sex
Summary: Niragi catches you with Arisu and Chishiya too many times for his liking and thinks you’re getting a bit too comfortable
Warning: orgasm denial, cursing, degradation, no aftercare
A/N: I don’t even know yall, what type of shackles does this (fictional) man have on me.
***
It started as a normal day at the beach. The loud music echoing through the resort, the smell of alcohol and weed mixing in with chlorine, sweat and sunscreen. You laid back on the reclining chair, soaking up some much needed sun. Two newcomers passed by you, reminding you of yourself. It had been maybe two weeks since you found yourself in Borderland, and about a week and a half since you came to the beach. You tried not to think too much about how you ended up here, it was a bit hectic and made your head spin. You were visiting Tokyo with a couple of friends, and had gotten separated from them while sightseeing. You headed into a cafe and the next thing you knew you were the only one around, being forced to survive by playing games.
Since then however, you’d come to slightly accept your new found reality. You chuckled, your friends were probably back at work and you were catching a tan. Just as that thought brought a small smile to your face, you felt someone’s shadow fall over. You frowned, sitting up. Glasses being pushed atop your braids, you locked eyes with Usagi.
“In five minutes, get up and come to the rooftop.” She said, and then disappeared back into the crowd. You looked around, and then laid back against the seat, wondering what that was about. But five minutes later, you found yourself navigating towards the rooftop, making sure there were no militants in sight. You wouldn’t mind seeing Niragi, although if he caught you that would end in a number of ways that seemingly all ended in you being bruised. That thought both excited you and frightened you and you picked up your pace.
Up on the rooftop, you were hardly surprised to find Chishiya, Kuina, Usagi and Arisu. They all turned to you as the door slammed shut behind you. You looked between the four of them, a bout of confusion in your mind.
“You’re probably wondering why you’re here” Arisu said.
“Yeah probably.” You joked.
“The Hatter’s system is flawed, so we’re stealing the cards and figuring it out for ourselves.” Chishiya announced. Again, you looked at the four of them, your brow furrowed.
“Where do I come in? And how do I know you won’t throw me to the militants if we get caught?”
“That’s just a risk you have to take.”
You bit your lip, you agreed. The whole idea of collecting the cards solely for only the Hatter to return to the normal world was selfish and for lack of better word unfair. But would you be willing to die over playing cards? (Granted you could die at any given time in Borderland).
“Fine. I’m in.” You sighed.
After going over the plan, the five of you headed back inside. While Kuina and Usagi headed in one direction, you followed Arisu and Chishiya.
You were engaged in small talk, telling them where you were from and how you got there, when the Aguni, Niragi and a few of the other militants passed by. Niragi turned, sneering at the two men in front of you. His eyes met yours with a dark look, and another round of excitement and fear shot through you.
“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” You said, puckering your lips. Talking to Niragi like that, especially in front of Aguni was brave, even for you. He stepped towards you, the grip of his gun tightening, but the smirk on your face didn’t falter.
“Careful y/n, don’t want me to lose my temper.”
But you did, you wanted to push his buttons and see what would happen. However, in front of Aguni and the militants, along with the two new friends (or allies you weren’t exactly sure what to call it) wasn’t the right place. You stepped back and looked away but the smirk didn’t fade completely. He huffed. Brat.
The three of you went your separate ways, your mind still reeling with Chishiya’s plan at the forefront. That was until the music stopped. The eerie silence meant one thing, games night. You sighed, and found your way to the entrance. Arisu, Chishiya, Usagi and Kuina were already there, and you found yourself climbing into the same car that they were.
6 of diamonds. That’s what had you chained to each other by the ankles. A mound of keys laid before you. Simple you thought, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack, but with metal keys and there’s a two hour time limit that ends in death. There were ten players in total, and each person could grab a key. They could only pass the keys to the person directly on either side of them, and once a key was out of rotation it couldn’t be used again. Of course, there were newcomers who were panicked about how they ended up in Borderland and the significance of the game. And a few players who weren’t thinking of the bigger picture. However with Chishiya and Arisu’s quick thinking, you weren’t too worried. With that confidence in mind, you grabbed a key.
One and a half painstaking hours later, you were free of your shackles. And rubbing at your ankles. Your fingers reeked of metal and you’d much rather be in your room.
Upon returning to the hotel, you and the others were in a surprisingly jovial mood. You had your arms wrapped around Chishiya and Arisu’s shoulders. Kuina made a comment about Arisu being a ladies man, which caused his cheeks to turn a rosy color and had you in a fit of laughter.
You were still chuckling, when the militants passed by again. Niragi shot a menacing glare in your direction, mean to scare you and the company, but you only felt heat pooling in your core. However, you stood up straight, letting your arms fall by your side.
It took a while to get back to your room, but your shoulders instantly relaxed just seeing the numbers. The room was dark, and you were sure you’d left the light on. The curtain was open, letting in the moonlight. The door closed behind you with a thud and you stepped forward slowly. Something was off in the room, but you weren’t sure what. That’s when you felt it, warm and wet against your neck.
“Niragi.” You breathed.
“Y/n” he answered.
“How did you get in here?”
“The door.” He answered simply, and you could tell he was smirking.
“But tell me y/n, did you have fun today?”
“Fun? Sure I guess.”
“Make a lot of friends?”
Your eyebrows knit together, it was unlike Niragi to care about something like that. You were about to answer, when you realized why he asked. He was jealous.
“Oh yes. Chishiya and Arisu are great company.” You gushed. Niragi finally stepped into the light, pushing you backwards onto the bed.
“But can they make you scream like I can?” He asked, licking another stripe across your neck. You let out a shuddering breath. All the plans for a bratty reply left your head, as he lifted your shirt, turning it into a makeshift restraint. His tongue continued down to your stomach and both of your legs. Effortlessly, he pulled off your shorts and bikini bottoms.
Niragi bites your thighs, pulling a gasp from your lips. His mouth finds your entrance, already soaked. Niragi eats you out like a man starved, his fingers gripping your thighs. His tongue lapped at your folds roughly, the piercing cold against your core. You wanted to touch him, to run your fingers through his hair. That’s exactly what you did, freeing yourself from the hold of your shirt, and rooting your hands in his hair. Abruptly, Niragi pulled away from you, the night air sending a shiver down your spine.
“Hands off pet.” He warned, pinning your hands above your head. You pouted, but it melted away as he returned to his ministrations. You whimpered, as your high crept up on you.
Niragi could feel your legs beginning to shake and he knew you were close. He stayed a few seconds more and then pulled away, with a devilish grin.
“Something wrong kitten?” He asked licking his lips. You frowned.
“I was so close.”
“I know kitten, but do you deserve to cum?”
You pouted, but it only made him chuckle. He runs his fingers along your thigh, the skin still sensitive from his bites. He gets closer to your core but pulls away at the last second.
You heave a sigh of frustration, and Niragi slaps your thighs. You were buzzing now, the tension of a denied orgasm tingling through you. He wanted you to beg, to hear your neediness, your submission.
“Beg.” Niragi slid his fingers slowly back into your dripping heat.
“Please.” Your voice was barely above a whisper.
“Can’t hear you y/n.”
“Please!”
“Manners kitten, please who?”
“Please Niragi.” Niragi’s fingers were right where you needed them, his thumb rubbing circles into your clit. It didn’t take long for you to feel that tightening sensation again. He teased pushing his fingers in deeper, before pulling them out. You could practically taste it, the release that never came.
Niragi sucked his fingers, your eyes trained on the slender digits covered in your essence. He hummed, a popping sound could be heard as he pulled them out of his mouth. He was driving you crazy, and he loved every minute of it. You were practically trembling now, but you were at Niragi’s mercy.
The sound of his belt being unbuckled sends a shiver down your body. He pushed your thighs apart with his legs, dragging the tip of his dick against your clit. Niragi bent over you his hair falling into your face. His hand wrapped around your throat, and your back arched as he thrust into you all at once. He pulled back slowly, and before you know it he was fucking into you like his life depended on it. You couldn’t hold back your moans any longer, sure that everyone that lived in your hall could hear you. Niragi’s grip tightened around your throat his fingernails digging into your skin. The pain only pushed you further into pleasure. As you felt your orgasm approach a third time you wrapped your legs around Niragi’s waist, holding him in place. His name fell off your lips, the only coherent thing you could say, as your orgasm washed over you. You were breathless and tears streamed down your cheeks but that didn’t stop Niragi. He kept going, chasing after his own high. His teeth sunk into your skin, replacing his fingers.
“Fuck.” You hissed. His long tongue brushed over the broken skin, another hiss leaving your lips. Niragi’s thrusts grew sloppy and he pulled out, releasing onto your stomach. He wiped your tears, and squeezed your cheeks with his hand.
“So pretty like this pet, and all mine.”

An Iron Box - The Answer
@cheshiya @tenseoyong @szallejhscorner @something-more-original-please @ofsunsetsandpoetries @nek0dzuken @allozaur @hiqhkey @serenzippity
That rooftop scene is growing closer, and so is my excitement :D
I’ve noticed a few new readers, and I just wanted to add a heads up that you can find the Tumblr post links and the AO3 links to each of the three fics at the top of my Tumblr, if that helps at all!
Here’s the AO3 link to this chapter too.
I hope you like it! <3
-------------------------------------------------------
‘Chishiya, I’d hate to be your enemy.’
When Arisu had spoken those words right as he punched in the code, he’d already made his fatal mistake.
You are all my enemies, in a way.
I stood back, watching as Arisu’s bloodied and unconscious body was slung over a militant’s shoulder and carried out of the royal suite. Usagi went next, kicking and screaming her boyfriend’s name. Just as she was dragged out the door, her eyes locked on me, and I could see the sheer betrayal there, the hatred burning and seething under her skin.
I simply smiled.
It wasn’t personal. It’s just how this world works.
Sometimes you have to sacrifice a pawn to reach the king.
The rest of us meandered out into the hall where the two traitors were being hauled towards their fate. I felt a hand clamp firmly on my shoulder, and fought the urge to move away when I saw Aguni standing beside me.
‘You did good, Chishiya. I never did trust those two.’
You should rethink where you put your trust.
‘Don’t mention it,’ I said. ‘It’s the least I could do.’
There was a furious cry down the hall as Usagi bit someone’s hand, followed by a slap, and then silence. I already had an inkling about what would happen to the two of them. Knowing Niragi, he would have some fun with Usagi before disposing of her. Perhaps I should’ve felt guilty. Some people certainly would. But there was a small, satisfied part of me that was glad it was her instead of...
‘That reminds me,’ Aguni said. ‘How did you know about them?’
‘Ah… that.’ I took the walkie talkie out of my pocket and flashed it to him. ‘They tried to get me to join them. I went along with it to find out the details, and you know the rest.’
Aguni’s brows furrowed at the sight of the device, but he didn’t ask to inspect or keep it. That’s when I knew I had him wrapped around my finger.
‘I understand. If you see any other suspicious behaviour, let me know.’
‘Of course.’
I nodded politely as he disappeared down the hall and submerged himself in his room.
Now that those two were taken care of, the militants would be distracted for a little while. That left us a generous amount of time until dark, although the real plan wouldn’t take long to execute, especially now I knew where the actual safe was.
Aguni may have been observant, but not nearly as observant as I was. Knowing that he had come so close to having the cards snatched from right under his nose, it would’ve unsettled anyone. And in such an unstable situation, it was only human nature to seek stability by making sure that your precious items are untouched.
I guess I was wrong about the blank sheet.
There was a room on the top floor that I knew wasn’t currently being used. In such close proximity to the royal suite, it was the perfect hideout where I could talk into the walkie talkie without worrying about eavesdroppers.
Slipping inside, I pulled it from my pocket once again to tune it to a radio frequency I had told Kuina about earlier. Knowing her, she would have tuned (name’s) to the same one right after Arisu’s capture.
I lifted the walkie talkie to my mouth. ‘Kuina?’
There was a drawn out moment of static, then Kuina’s voice crackled through. ‘I’m here. (Name) still needs a minute though.’
I figured as much. Once she realised what was happening, it was inevitable that she would react badly. Having Kuina there to keep her away from Arisu and Usagi had been for the best. And now she knew that I had unwillingly involved her in a plan like this, her opinion of me had probably sunk lower than before.
Is this also for the best?
I sat down on the unused bed, deciding that yes, it was. She would only be a distraction. If it came down to it, I needed to survive. And once we left the Beach, if she despised me so much that she chose to go down a separate path, it couldn’t be better.
But still…
‘Chishiya.’ Kuina’s voice interrupted the quiet. ‘I hope you feel guilty for this. I seriously hope a small part of you realises how screwed up this was.’
I smiled at her lack of understanding. I realised perfectly well, but for the sake of surviving in a world like this, you couldn’t allow yourself to slip to the bottom of the food chain.
‘You’ve changed your tune,’ I replied. ‘Are you backing out all of a sudden?’
‘Of course not. I can’t afford to, and neither can (name).’ She paused, then tentatively asked, ‘Did you know? About her… and you, you know.’
‘I have no idea what you’re talking about.’
‘Did you know she had feel—’ Kuina’s voice stopped, then she hushed, ‘She’s coming out now. We’ll be upstairs soon.’
The communication cut off, and all I could do was wait until they were in position. Wait, and mull over Kuina’s unfinished question. Obviously, they had been talking about me, but I almost didn’t want to know what they had said.
I waited fifteen minutes, and there was still no sign from either of them. If they carried on at this speed, we would run out of time. Growing restless, I held up the walkie talkie.
‘You two, how are things on your side?’
There was no response, but they would have to reply eventually. What I didn’t expect was her voice to come through.
‘You’re all good to go from where I’m standing.’ Her voice was still dripping with unspoken anger and betrayal, and it was surprising she was even willing to talk to me.
So you’re not as childish as you act. Who would’ve thought.
‘Aguni’s still in his room,’ Kuina followed up with a sigh. ‘We’re getting bored now.’
‘Then should we get going with the plan?’ I suggested. The reply I got was scathing.
‘We’ve already gotten going. It’s you who needs to hurry up.’
That attitude, it was almost laughable. How commanding (name) had become in an instant, as if she weren’t tagging along on someone else’s plan.
‘Patience,’ I reminded her, and turning down the volume on the walkie talkie, I cracked open the door.
In the hall, there wasn’t a soul in sight. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The royal suite was unguarded, and I easily slipped by unnoticed. Inside, the room was bathed in darkness, and it became apparent Aguni hadn’t yet bothered to move his belongings in. There were still traces of the incident earlier. The carpet by the open wardrobe was spotted with blood. Arisu’s blood.
I turned the volume on the walkie talkie back up. ‘I don’t know if Arisu is stupid or intelligent. Hatter was paranoid. He wouldn’t have hidden the cards in a normal safe.’
‘Where’s the real one then?’ Kuina asked.
I turned to the deer painting on the wall. It didn’t particularly stand out as anything special, just a deer’s face and antlers against a blue toned background. And yet earlier that day, despite all the commotion and Arisu’s screams of pain, it had captured Aguni’s focus.
‘When Arisu was caught,’ I said, slowly approaching the painting, ‘Aguni wasn’t paying attention. He was looking towards a certain picture on the wall. It turns out the paper wasn’t empty after all. It contained a drawing instead.’
Briefly placing the walkie talkie on a side table, I lifted the painting from the wall, uncovering the hidden treasure that I had been hoping for. The plaster had been carved up, forming a hole large enough to jam a small safe inside. And sure enough, there it was. A hotel safe, much like the one Arisu had tried, was embedded deep into the wall.
Her voice, sounded through the static. ‘So, you had no idea where it was until then?’
I picked up the walkie talkie again. ‘Exactly. What happened to Arisu was necessary if we were going to find the real safe. Speaking of which, I’ve found it.’
Now it was the moment of truth. The final test to see if my code was correct. I punched the numbers in one by one. 8022. Each one held its own magnitude, and I half-expected an alarm to ring out.
Except it didn’t. The safe display read ‘OPEN’.
‘You used him just for that?’ was Kuina’s tired response.
Really, after all this time, did she not realise that this was the price one had to pay? This world had a certain dynamic. In order to survive, you couldn’t allow yourself to get caught up in guilt or shame.
‘In order to gain something, you have to lose something,’ I said. ‘He’s just a sacrifice. Things like this happen a lot, don’t they?’
'No, they don’t. Not at all. I really don’t want to be your enemy.’
I smiled, remembering the betrayal in Arisu’s expression. ‘I get that a lot.’
----------------------------------------------------------------
The deck was like a weight, swinging in my pocket. A surefire sense of power and danger, all hidden within a stack of cards. There was no way of knowing whether collecting them granted any passage back to the old world. But there was also nothing to prove that they didn’t.
Either way, I’m certain something will happen once the deck is completed.
These cards couldn’t be for nothing.
After replacing the painting, I told Kuina and (name) to meet me near the patio exit at the east of the hotel. I could’ve caught up with them on my way down from the top floor, but I wanted to make a small diversion.
I’d never felt any attachment to my room, and even now as I took one last look, there was nothing in particular keeping me here.
Well, maybe just one thing.
Pulling open the second drawer down on the desk, I felt around at the back for the tiny box. It was only small, and the ring inside even smaller. It sat open in the palm of my hand, the silver fashioned into a small sun with a glistening green centre.
Somehow, its weight was even heavier than the cards.
Is there any point?
I could’ve easily slipped it into my pocket, but it was practically useless. Even if I gave it to her, she would instantly reject it.
I placed the box back in the draw. It would stay a secret for the next person moving into this room. As I shut the drawer, I suddenly remembered another, darker secret hidden inside the one below. I opened it up, seeing the little souvenir I’d taken from my first game.
The pistol glistened inside, metallic and dangerous. Now that would certainly keep Niragi at bay. But again, was it worth it? It didn’t hold many bullets, and it wouldn’t stand a chance against a rifle. Once we were out of here, I could probably find something a little bigger, perhaps in Tokyo’s empty Yakuza hotspots.
I left it there along with the ring. Even walking away felt like tugging at a string that kept pulling me back towards that tiny box. I would have to rip that string apart.
Making my way down through the hotel, I strolled outside, dipping into the smaller paths where the patio was peaceful. The only sounds were the faded music drowned out by wind, and the soft trill of crickets. Two silhouettes came into view, one basking in the glow beneath a lamppost, the other hidden against the wall in its shadow.
‘I guess we won’t be needing these anymore.’ I pulled off the wristband I had gotten so used to wearing. Just as I reached the brick archway at the edge of the grounds, Kuina spoke.
‘Don’t you feel sorry?’
I paused. ‘Sorry?’
‘About what happened to Arisu,’ (name) said. ‘I feel really sorry for him. We both do.’
Kuina hummed in agreement. ‘Don’t you?’
I turned, glancing from Kuina’s frown to the figure behind her. No matter how hard she tried to hide in her friend’s shadow, I could always find her, especially when her eyes looked so full of anger and hurt. Standing there, both bracing themselves against the cold, the two of them echoed off one another in perfect harmony.
‘I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.’
I knew what line came next. She didn’t have to sing, so long as she was still breathing. Perhaps I could make her understand.
‘Is there anything we wouldn’t do in order to survive?’
Clearly, there was. Their eyes widened, as if the truth of this world hadn’t fully hit them yet. As if all my efforts had been for nothing in their eyes.
Fine. Very well.
I smiled, no longer caring to hide the bitterness. ‘If you both feel so worried, then maybe you should go and help him.’
And of course, neither of them budged. They knew they couldn’t. They were both so happy to come with me if it meant escaping the Beach, yet they still felt the right to criticise my methods. I turned back towards the arch and took the first step forward into freedom, only to hear that tiny, oh-so-familiar sound.
A buzzing.
‘It can’t be,’ I muttered.
This was always a possibility. But why here? Why now? Why, when I was so close to winning? Any other time, and I wouldn’t have minded. This, however, was simply annoying.
I was so deep in thought, I barely registered the footsteps behind me… the familiar form sliding past me… walking closer towards the arch.
‘Stop.’
My hand moved on its own, grabbing her wrist and tugging her back just in time. For one small second I felt the heat of her skin, right before it was yanked out of my grip.
‘What do you think you’re doing?’ She touched her wrist as if it had been burned, unaware that it had been the other way around.
I couldn’t answer. The cold had settled back in, the emptiness. It only confirmed that nagging suspicion I already knew. The reason I couldn’t rip the string apart. She was the answer.
Kuina appeared at my side, waiting for an explanation. Her presence reminded me that there was something far, far more pressing at stake. Suddenly remembering the wristband I was holding, I tossed it into the arch.
A glowing red laser shot through the centre and it clattered to the ground.
The timing was almost ironic, too perfect to be true. Almost like the gamemasters had been watching us all along, just as they had with that little stunt they pulled in the Eight of Hearts. As frustrating as this was, I had to admire their creativity.
I sighed, turning around to see a wall of lasers appear along the parameters of the hotel.
Touche.

Fic Wrap Up.
*feel free to ignore this if I tagged you
This is going to be my own fic wrap up, my first one ever because this was the birth of my Ao3 account, so all of my fics are from this year. I’ll try to keep things concise, but it’ll still be pretty long. I will do this in the form of a Read More after the first few fics. There are over 90, I’ll try to go alphabetically.
All of them are from the same fandom, BnHA, so that’s nice. More gen fics, less romance. Most of them are for series, events, other people’s aus - and I’ll make sure to share all of that when I share each fic, especially because some of the events are probably repeats and this is a little bit like free marketing [only tagging them once because that would get obnoxious, especially for the weekly event things I did]. Other than that, I hope you all enjoy and may 2021 suck slightly less.

“the president and the troublemaker” (part 8) (chilumi fic)
“Lumine is the student council president and Childe is the school’s number one troublemaker. They cross paths more than they’d like. Especially when Childe finds out Lumine’s big secret. Highschool AU à la Kaichou wa Maid-sama.”
[part 1] [part 2] [part 3] [part 4] [part 5] [part 6] [part 7]
existence is a prison :’)
[Fic Masterlist] // [AO3 Link] // [Main AO3]
the president and the troublemaker (part 8)
Cross jab with your right arm.
Lumine lunged towards her opponent with her right arm.
Throwaway jab with your left.
As her opponent blocked her right arm, Lumine quickly threw her left arm out, forcing them to blink and react to the oncoming hit.
Follow the momentum.
Planting her left foot on the ground, she let the force of the punch swing her body around, then slammed her right foot into her opponent’s head.
And there you have a successful spinning heel kick.
Lumine let the air relax out of her body as the man crumpled to the floor, and the bells rang. The crowd around swelled into cheers as the referee held her hand up, signaling her victory. Her amber eyes roamed around the arena, noting all the audience reactions: the nods of approval, the tilting heads of curiosity, the quick Internet searches on phones—who is this girl?
She was starting to gain attention here in Snezhnaya, as her win rate at the moment was at an astounding 100% thus far. She had quickly gained the nickname “Abyss Princess” due to Kaeya’s “innocent” portrayal of her in his promotions, juxtaposed with her destructive lethality in the ring.
“You learn quick,” Childe said as Lumine walked into the locker room. “I only taught you that move once,” he added. “And yet you executed it perfectly.”
“That’s Lumine for you,” Aether said, handing her a towel and a water bottle. “Great job, as always, sis.” She nodded as she gratefully chugged the water down (purposefully ignoring Childe.)
Kaeya sauntered into the room shortly after, clapping slowly while a grin pulled at his lips. “I come bearing good news.”
“Free dinner?” Lumine guessed.
Aether nodded. “Seconded.”
“Even better.” Kaeya held up an official looking document. “Our little Lumine just got her first sponsor.”
Lumine almost dropped her water bottle. “No way!” She ran up to the blue haired captain. “Who is it?!”
Her manager looked down at the slip of paper in his hands. “A wealthy traveling merchant named Ivanovich.”
Lumine turned towards Aether excitedly. “A sponsor!”
“A sponsor!” he echoed as the two shared a hug.
“What does this mean now?” Lumine asked Kaeya.
“It means we get to celebrate!” He gave her a closed eye smile. “How about a little vacation?”
* * *
Wow.
Lumine audibly gasped as she stood atop the hill overlooking the beach before her.
Being from a poor family, she and Aether never got to travel much; it was the first time either of them had been to the beach (or really vacationed for that matter) and it did not disappoint.
The glowing sun reflected brilliantly off the vivid blue waves, the water lapping at the fine, white sand with various stations of colorful towels and umbrellas set up throughout the shore. Lumine smiled as she saw families running along the sand, playing volleyball, and children joyfully splashing in the water.
“So this is the beach,” Aether said in wonderment beside her.
Lumine nodded as the two of them both breathed in deep, taking in the scent of salty waves and warm summer air. “It’s more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined,” she whispered.
“Is this your first time at the beach?” Kaeya asked the two of them. After the twins nodded, he smiled, and continued, “Well, I hope you two truly enjoy yourselves then.”
“I can’t remember the last time we could just relax like this,” Aether said as the trio made their way towards the beach house they were renting for the weekend.
Since she could remember, her whole life (Aether’s too) had been jam-packed with work or school obligations; it would be nice to get away from everything, even if just for a few days.
She let out a yawn as she opened the door to the house. “Let the relaxation begin...” She froze in the doorway as her eyes landed on Childe laying on the couch. “...now.”
The orange-haired troublemaker opened his eyes slightly, then sat up and stretched. “Took you guys long enough. I’ve been waiting all morning.”
Lumine hadn’t moved an inch. “...Why is Childe here?”
“Well, I had to invite your coach, didn’t I?” Kaeya answered. “I hope that’s alright.”
“Is there a problem, Lumi?” Aether asked, concerned.
Ever since the rooftop incident, Lumine had found herself...restless around Childe. After she had gotten home from studying at his place, she thought about it—really thought about it—and neither of them had mentioned the fact that he had kissed her.
Had it been a figment of her imagination? Was he just messing with her?
Romance wasn’t something she knew. She could read textbook after textbook, fight opponent after opponent, but love? She was completely in the dark.
And it wasn’t something she could casually discuss with Aether or her friends. Her friends knew nothing about her and Childe, and she was sure Aether would murder Childe on the spot if he knew anything romantic was happening between the delinquent and his beloved twin sister. As far as he knew, Childe and Lumine got along well as coach and student, and were friends as a result of that.
Like at the hospital, she got flustered around Childe. She absolutely hated it, because she couldn’t figure out how or why—she couldn’t control it. And she especially hated it because Childe seemed to relish in the fact that she seemed so affected by him.
The simplest things he would do—the slightest glance in her direction, a brush of the hands—sent her heart into a frenzy.
Do..Do I love him back?
Her throat went dry at that prospect.
I don’t know.
She didn’t know.
So, she had hoped that the trip would bring her some clarity after time away from Childe, and hoped that upon her return, things would go back to normal.
But here he stood in front of her.
“Lumi, is everything okay?” Aether repeated.
Lumine cleared her throat. “Yup, everything is fine.” She rushed towards the stairs. “I’ll be in my room.” And with that, she disappeared into the closest bedroom she could find, slamming the door shut.
We’re just friends, she told herself. He is your friend, and your coach.
She clenched her fists. It was most obviously a joke, right? Why else would he have done it, and not mention it ever again?
Lumine let out a maddening laugh. Yes, that’s exactly it. It’s just another scheme of his to cause trouble for me.
She looked out her window, at the sparkling sea just lengths away. Well, she wasn’t going to be bothered by it, or him, any longer. Not when she was on vacation at least.
She rifled through her duffle bag, pulling out a bikini, and slipping it on. It was simple, black, only decorated with minimal frills, but it was quite revealing (especially compared to her normal attire). It definitely wouldn’t have been Lumine’s first choice of swimwear, but it was one of the cheapest swimsuits she could find on short notice.
She took a deep breath in, already imagining how relaxing the cool beach waves would feel on her skin. Excited, she yanked her door open quickly—
Only to find Childe standing there, his hand outstretched as if he were about to open the door himself.
Lumine’s face fell. “What do you want?”
“I was just coming to check on you,” he said with a smile. Then his eyes trailed down to her attire, and his face fell as well. “What are you doing?”
Lumine crossed her arms. “Obviously about to go swimming.”
“In that?” he asked lowly.
Feeling the heat crawl up her back, she shook her head. Not going to let him affect me. “Yup. Now, if you’ll excuse me.” She started to push past him.
He reached out and grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
“Childe, what are you—”
He pulled her towards him, and then wrapped his arms around her waist, pinning her back against his chest. She felt a sharp twinge on her shoulder.
...
He was biting her. He was biting her.
Lumine gasped, and struggled out of his hold. When she finally broke free, she whipped around, her hand rubbing her shoulder. Childe’s blue eyes glinted at her as he used the back of his hand to wipe at his lips.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Lumine hissed. Her thumb traced over the ridges left behind by his teeth.
“You know, if you wear that,” Childe said simply, eyeing her swimsuit, “everyone’s going to ask about that bite mark on your shoulder.” An innocent smile. “You don’t really want that, now do you?”
Her jaw fell open and she ran back into her room, checking her shoulder in the mirror. Sure enough, the area he had bitten down on was blemished red, and only grew more and more noticeable as the seconds ticked by.
She turned towards Childe, who was leaning on the doorframe, her eyes bewildered. “Why would you—”
Aether and Kaeya’s voices travelled up the staircase. There were people coming. And she had a kiss mark for all the world to see.
She quickly grabbed a t-shirt from the clothes she had just changed out of, and yanked it over her head as her brother and her manager walked by.
Aether stopped, looking at her curiously. His eyes flickered to Childe as well. “Are you guys going swimming?”
“Yes!” Lumine answered quickly, shuffling out the door. Hopefully, the faster she got away, the less chance there was for Aether to realize something had happened.
“...In your t-shirt?” Aether asked.
Lumine shrugged, doing her best to act nonchalant. “I got a little cold.” She started running down the stairs. “Catch you guys later!”
WIthout looking back, she ran until she had reached the shore of the beach, then let out a long sigh of relief at finally being alone.
What in the absolute hell is wrong with Childe?
Her fingers ghosted over the bite mark once again, a fire burning in her core. Why had he done that? Wasn’t that something only lovers did to each other?
Lovers…
!!!
Lumine swore her head exploded, and was sure the rising steam would be visible from miles away.
She stomped down the shoreline, heels digging into the shifty sands, desperately trying to distract her thoughts.
Miraculously, her thoughts drowned out as she approached a bustling crowd gathering before her. The noise was instantly familiar—the cheers, whoops, and gasps of an ongoing fight. Raising an eyebrow, she made her way through the people, until she was at the front line.
In the middle of the crowd, there was a large open space with three different circles—indicated by lines drawn in the sand—and within each circle were two people wrestling. Nearby each of the circles, a tall lifeguard chair stood, where a referee sat overlooking their respective match below.
Lumine turned to a stranger next to her, and asked what was going on.
“Oh, it’s the weekly beach wrestling competition!” they answered happily.
“A competition?” Lumine pondered for a second. An image of a free food voucher flashed in her mind. “...Are there any prizes?”
“Eh, most people just like to do it for fun,” the stranger said. “But if you win, you get all the earnings from entry fees!”
At the mention of money, Lumine instantly perked up. Not to mention tossing people around in the sand sounded like the perfect way to blow off some steam. “Where do you sign up?”
They looked at her curiously. “Right over there.” They gestured to a table set up underneath a makeshift awning. “But I should warn you: it’s usually an...all male competition, dear.”
Lumine was already waking away, stretching out her arms. Wrestling, huh? Not too different from what I do regularly, right?
As she passed the brawling rings, she took note of every competitor’s strengths, their statures—any information that would help her win in the near future. The stranger was right: there was no other female in sight, except as spectators.
And when Lumine walked over to sign up, there was a mix of reactions from those all around. Scrutiny, disbelief, doubt and arrogance—there’s no way she’s going to get far, right?
A smirk pulled at the corner of her lips.
Let’s prove them wrong.
* * *
Where did she go?
Childe squinted down the shore, eyes searching for that blonde head of hair. After Lumine had dashed out of the house, he decided to wait briefly before going after her. Of course he knew she was freaked out over what happened, but it had to be done.
One look at her attire, and his blood boiled over the thought of guys looking her up and down, innocence the furthest thing from their minds.
She was probably out there, kicking up a storm on the sandy shoreline, her head rattling with confusion at his actions. She was so endearingly naive about the intricacies of romance, as evidenced by her reaction to his confession of love, to which they had yet to discuss.
He wasn’t going to push it; he could always see the gears turning in her head when he showed any romantic interest towards her, and too much stimulation would probably overload her circuits. Not to mention the fact she would run away when confronting her feelings. But they would need to talk about it, eventually.
God, she was going to be the death of him.
He couldn’t quite put a finger on when he had realized he was actually in love with this short, tempered blonde, but when he did, it only made complete sense.
He wasn’t a stranger to romance. He knew he had the looks and the demeanor that just made girls gravitate to him, but he had never found interest in anyone. He just wanted to fight and train, train and fight—anything to get stronger and stronger.
But then that night.
Every so often, he would visit those illegal fighting rings, his interest only piqued for potential worthy opponents. Alberich’s ring was far out of the way, and he visited it rarely.
That night was the first time he had seen Outlander in the ring.
They had immediately grabbed his attention: the mask definitely showed they were hiding something. And that always made for an interesting fighter. They then proceeded to absolutely obliterate their opponent in the ring. An even more interesting fighter.
After the match, Childe made his way around the back, hoping to speak to this Outlander character. And the rest was history.
It had been the most enjoyable time of his life watching Lumine swap from the diligent student council president, to the powerful, bloodthirsty Outlander. Everything else she did—the way she carried herself, her resilience, her stubbornness, how her face softened when she was thanking him—everything else just pulled at his heart like nothing else ever had.
He really couldn’t bear to stay away.
Childe sighed, continuing his walk down the beach.
And he really couldn’t control himself around her.
A group of boys around his age jogged past him. He caught a few words they were saying as they passed: “hot,” “blonde,” “fighter.”
His jaw clenched, and he followed them closely as the sinking feeling grew in his gut.
The boys disappeared into a large, boisterous crowd, and Childe peered over the heads of spectators watching a wrestling match before them.
A flash of amber eyes and that gray t-shirt she had thrown on earlier; it was exactly as he suspected. Somewhere, somehow, even at the beach on vacation, Lumine was in the middle of a fight.
She was winning, but sloppily. Obviously, she was still affected by earlier. Sloppy moves would lead to defeat, and more importantly, injuries.
Time to step in.
Perhaps this was also a way to get through to her. A common tongue they both spoke.
He made his way over to the sign-up, paid his entrance fee, and stood before the printed brackets. He traced Lumine’s name, looking over the line of opponents he would need to beat to get to her.
He walked over to the queue of fighters. He started stretching his limbs, feeling the heat of the battle pool in his muscles.
Get ready, Lumine.
The crowd burst into cheers as Lumine pinned her opponent to the ground. As she stood, Childe saw her glowing grin split across her face. He smiled to himself as well.
Here I come.

Reflexes
A quick fic inspired by this gif set
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Over the last three years of being Ladybug, Marinette had changed in several ways. The two most notable to those around her were both physical. One, she was buff. Like, she could beat Kim at wrestling kind of buff. When she wore bikinis to the beach with her friends, they'd all stare at her abs for a moment. Alya constantly asked her how she had gotten so ripped but never got a straight answer. It's not like Marinette could exactly say that she had gotten strong by fighting villains all day.
The other thing that had become most noticeable was her fighting skills. Few of her friends ever witnessed anything as fighting wasn't a super common civilian issue, but Alya saw her take down a mugger with one hand. Nobody really believed her when she told people about it - "Oh, sweet little Marinette couldn't hurt a fly," they often said - but she still made a note not to startle her or get on her bad side.
One of the most problematic changes that she'd made, though, was her fighting instincts. While it came in handy during fights with akumas, she often found herself judo-flipping her partner, Chat Noir, when he snuck up on her. The worst part was that he never learned to give her some warning, so it wasn't an uncommon occurrence to accidentally throw her best friend off of roofs. Of course, he was always okay. Not only did he have his staff and super-agility, but he'd learned to expect it. That only made her feel more guilty.
~ o n e  d a y ~
Ladybug leaned against the chimney of one of the several rooftops of Paris. She was looking down at her yoyo's screen, catching up on some fan emails, while she waited for her partner. Suddenly, she felt the sudden presence of someone behind her, a hand reaching toward her. Instinctively, she grabbed the wrist and slammed the attacker down on the ground in front of her. She kept the arm in her grasp and put a foot on the person's chest to hold them down. The laughter that followed registered before the face did. She immediately let go and took her foot off of the blonde and held down a hand to help him up. Once he was standing again, he worked to control his laughter.
"Stupid cat, I've told you over and over again not to sneak up on me like that! You know that I react like that to being startled," she grumbled, closing up her yoyo and attaching it to her hip.
"I know, I know. But it's kinda funny," he wiped a tear from his eye.
"It won't be so funny when you dull my reflexes and I get my miraculous stolen by a villain," she retorted, pushing him playfully but sternly on the shoulder.
"My lady, you could never be dull, not even your reflexes." His eyes shone with adoration and she rolled her eyes. She had to admit that his flirtiness had gotten a lot sweeter in the past few months as they got to know each other deeper and deeper.
"Yeah, whatever, kitty. Are you ready to go on patrol?"
"With you? Always."
The two leaped from the rooftop and began scanning the streets of Paris for any akumas or citizens in need of help. They helped an elderly woman gather the groceries that had fallen through a hole in her bag and helped prevent a traffic collision. As always, they stopped by the bench where Mr. Ramier sat with his pigeons and chatted with him, bringing him comfort. The man had gone through a lot of trauma, having been akumatized over 50 times. Finally, the sun began to set and they decided to call it a night.
~
Marinette stretched and yawned, extremely tired. As soon as they'd gotten home from patrol, they got an akuma alert and had stayed up until nearly 5 am fighting.
"I don't know how I'm gonna make it through the day on only two hours of sleep," Marinette commented as she messily pulled her hair into her signature pigtails.
"You've got this, Marinette! I know you can do it!" Her kwami pressed against her cheek in a hug and the girl felt energized just from the affection from the small creature.
"Thanks, Tikki," she smiled. Then she opened her bag for her to fly into and headed for school.
"Hey, girl!" Alya called from across the courtyard. She was standing near the stairs talking to Nino. Marinette managed to jog over there and greeted her friends.
"Oh man, you look terrible," Nino commented. Alya jabbed him in the side. "I mean, you seem tired. You okay, dude?"
Marinette nodded. "Yeah, the noise from the akuma last night kept me up," she fibbed.
"Oh that's right, it was right over by the bakery, wasn't it? Did you see that villain though? Hawkmoth is really stepping up his game!" Alya continued to talk about the night's battle, giving Marinette a chance to zone out for a moment since she didn't need a rundown of the battle she'd fought. Suddenly, she felt a hand grab her shoulder. She jumped and her instincts took over. She grabbed the wrist of the person behind her before they could even tighten their grip and threw them with a slam onto the ground a few feet in front of her. Then, she processed what had just happened and who she had just thrown. She rushed over to him and offered a hand to help him up.
"Oh my god! ARE YOU SORRY? I mean- I'm okay! I mean... uh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay, Adrien?" He stood up and stared at her in shock.
"I told you! I told you she was a damn ninja! Mylene owes me $10," Alya celebrated. But neither of the pair was paying any attention to her. Marinette was too lost trying to decipher Adrien's gaze and why he had yet to let go of her hand. The bell rang and students filtered out of the courtyard and into classrooms and eventually, the two were alone.
"I- ah, Adrien?" Marinette stammered, her face still a bright red but her thoughts more clouded by confusion than romance.
"I guess your reflexes haven't dulled yet," he whispered, his eyes never leaving hers. Marinette paused for a second, trying to figure out why the phrase sounded so familiar before it hit her.
"It won't be so funny when you dull my reflexes and I get my miraculous stolen by a villain."
"My lady, you could never be dull, not even your reflexes."
She felt her knees give out and she fell to the ground. Adrien quickly moved to kneel down beside her. She just stared at the blonde for a while, her eyes wide and brain moving at a thousand miles per minute.
"Chat... Chat Noir?" She finally pushed the words out of her lips, though they were a struggle. It felt impossible. Adrien was so different from Chat Noir. But, when she thought about it, it all made sense. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a tight hug.
"It's really you, buganette," he whispered into her hair, returning the embrace.
"My kitty."

Could you write something about Sander meeting Robbe at the beach house in S3 but instead of being there as Britts boyfriend he is single and there as Sennes friend who also went along to the trip
-
Robbe walks fast right back to his bedroom, the soft morning sunlight still not able to help his freezing hands from shaking. The wind while trying to casually walk fast from the kitchen to the bedroom was too cold and Robbe can barely feel his hands, his cheeks too but he knows he’s red all over. He closes the bedroom door carefully and leans against it, breathing slowly to try and calm his heartbeats.
It felt like a movie scene. One of those that he likes, where life is happening normally and you can’t see the big, life changing moment coming until it’s gone already or when you’re in it. Robbe feels like he had a moment of those in the kitchen.
-
Sander tries to contain his excitement for what can happen during this weekend, looking down at his own boots, very aware that Senne is still there, staring at him. The second he looks up through his lashes, Senne raises his eyebrows, looking from him to the door, still half open because the mystery boy that’s not so mysterious anymore left open, in a rush to leave a minute ago.
“What now?” Sander snorts, trying to shake off the feeling still making him dizzy with curiosity and want.
“This was interesting…” Senne says, his mouth still full with the croque Sander had to improvise for them before they were interrupted by Robbe.
-
Just don’t go too fast. Robbe is like a puppy and he’ll run if you push him too far.
Sander can’t forget Senne’s words this morning, repeating them as a mantra so he doesn’t ruin this for himself.
“Where are we going?”
Sander only realized how extremely dark it is when they move away from the crowd quietly, hearing the screams dissipate as they go further and further. Sander can’t do scary things not even if his life depends on it or if to impress someone he’s very attracted to.
While they were close to the others, waiting to go inside the haunted house, it wasn’t as dark, just enough for Sander to gently tap Robbe’s arm without it being noticed by anyone else. They were standing right next to each other for the sixth time just today, like magnets but Sander had a feeling this time was planned. Their hands were almost touching while they were hearing the horror story at the front of the group, the only source of light coming from one of Robbe’s friend’s phone. He pointed with his head back, hoping Robbe would get that he was about to ditch the prank and was hoping Robbe would tag along.
He left the group quietly, waiting to be distant enough to turn the flashlight of his phone on, happy to hear steps behind him, some complain when Robbe ran into some weeds, stumbling to catch up.
At times the darkness around them made Sander a little scared so he would check, looking over his shoulder, smiling when his eyes found Robbe’s, not as scared as he was, happy with the adventure ahead, and it made him relax a little bit, happy to entertain this boy for as long as he would like.
Sander heard the boys planning tonight earlier so he knew where everyone would go after the haunted house. He was hoping to get at least five minutes alone with Robbe.
“Here…” He whispered like anyone else is there with them, able to hear them and ruin their time apart from their friends, finally finding the small room in the middle of nowhere, unfinished and abandoned but not as scary as the big house they left. They walk around it to find the stairs that can take them to the roof. Sander goes up first, keeping his light on the stairs so Robbe wouldn’t trip on the steps.
“Wow...how did you know about this?”
Robbe walks around, noticing the bottles and bottles of all types of alcoholic drinks safely in the middle, waiting for someone to do the honors and in the middle of all the glass bottles, there’s a bag that Robbe opens just enough to see inside. Sander peeps too, finding shot glasses and a few fat joints.
“They won’t mind if we steal one to share…” Sander puts his hand inside the bag carefully, grabbing one joint and pulling it out, showing it to Robbe. He assumes Robbe doesn’t have a lighter with him so Sander does the honors, taking a long, delicious hit first, offering the joint to Robbe afterwards, trying not to overthink that his lips were where Robbe’s lips are now, smoking slowly to enjoy the burn, the smoke filling them whole.
“So you don’t like being scared…” Robbe starts after a few minutes in silence, both of them walking around, exploring, looking down to see how high they are, laughing when they would look at each other at the same time.
“No way. What’s the fun in that?”
Robbe laughs softly, nodding his head, sitting close to the edge but not close enough where it’s dangerous. He almost falls back and Sander puts his hand behind his shoulder to help him regain his balance.
“Yeah, I guess it’s not funny exactly. But maybe it gives you a rush for a moment.”
“I don’t get it. We can get a rush in so many other forms.”
“What gives you a rush?”
Sander thinks about it for a second, leaving the joint with Robbe, already feeling his brain a little slow and light after so many months of not smoking a single cigar. He looks at Robbe, feeling a bit cold, regretting leaving his creme sweater back at the rented house. Sander adjusts his position, hugging his knees with both arms, resting his chin on his biceps, looking at Robbe sitting next to him.
“It doesn’t happen as often as I may make it seem but I guess falling in love gives you a good rush.”
He can tell by the way that Robbe looks at him that it wasn't the answer he was expecting and Sander wishes he could explain how he felt this morning, watching a sleepy Robbe get inside the kitchen, confused with the stranger there, making croques early in the morning. But he can’t tell him that as an example.
He can’t tell he saw Robbe days ago, painting a garbage truck with Noor, his college friend. And he can’t tell Robbe he asked Noor about him, connecting every evidence until he found out Robbe and Senne, his best friend, were basically flatmates. What a tiny, tiny world. If he tells him all of that, he’ll have to say he only came to this trip to meet Robbe, that after that night spray painting, Sander started thinking about falling in love at first sight, about faith and universe, all the mystical bullshit he never cared to understand before.
“Not the answer you were expecting?” He asks, pressing his lips against his arm so Robbe won’t see him smiling dumbly. The boy shakes his head slowly like he’s still in shock.
“Sorry.”
“No...No, it’s okay. I just wasn’t expecting that, really. But I guess you are right. When you like someone it’s like when the power goes out, and suddenly you can’t function properly, everything is going off and on at the same time and so you don’t know what to do, how to act, what to say.”
Sander snorts and nods his head. He never thought about it like that but it makes sense. He repeats Robbe’s words in his head again to check if they really make sense or they just make sense to him because Robbe is saying them. And Sander is noticing everything Robbe says to him sounds like the best thing he’s ever heard. They have a very different way of seeing things and Sander wishes he could be like Robbe, see the world through his beautiful, gentle, rounded eyes.
“Do you believe in those things? Like love at first sight, faith, those types of...unexplainable things?”
Robbe looks forward, the screams in the distance stopped some time ago and Sander can see some flashlights breaking the dark every few seconds, getting closer to where they are.
"Definitely. I have high hopes for those things or else life sounds pretty rough to me.”
Sander frowns, noticing how serious Robbe gets suddenly, keeping his eyes on his group of friends, waving to them already. Sander wants to ask what makes life so rough for him but there’s no time with the line of people already forming downstairs for them to go up to the rooftop too.
“You wanna go on a walk tomorrow morning? The beach is pretty nice…” Robbe asks, already up, trying to brush the dirt out of the back of his pants, finally looking at Sander again.
He nods his head, getting up too, accepting the joint back, not so accidentally letting their fingers touch in the exchange.

Stargazing
Ethan Winters x Mia Winters (Resident Evil Biohazard)
Warnings: Swearing
Genre: Romance, Fluff
Summary: A year after the events that took place at the Bakers’ residence and the three years of Mia being missing, the Winters spouses have finally been healed enough to start getting back into a regular lively rhythm, nevertheless haunted by the nightmare they lived through.
Requested by Anon. Hi dear! Sorry you’ve had to wait so long for your request but here it finally is! They deserved so much better and I’ll never stop saying that! Sorry for the brief rant, still, hope you enjoy the read! Love, Vy ❤
Holding Ethan’s hand tightly, Mia follows his instructions to keep her gaze down at the ground and avoid looking up as much as possible. She’s been having a hard time containing the smile on her face, biting her bottom lip a lot to prevent it from showing. Same as she’s had a hard time keeping quiet with her guessing games of where Ethan’s taking her. The man’s unbreakable though, never once was he tempted to let her in on what he’s planned.
It’s been a year since the Baker incident and all the couple has done is switch from one coping mechanism to another. They got stuck in a sort of therapy-work-therapy cycle where they threw themselves in their work and periodically went to their psychiatric appointments, never daring to nudge the topic at home amongst themselves. It was enough that the whole night has remained as a dark cloud hanging over their heads, addressing it has simply been to painful so they’ve steered clear of the topic the best they could.
However, an important thing to note about this coping cycle they created is that it drove all the other mechanics in their lives and their relationship to become routinely and mechanic as well. There was little to no feeling in all they did - not that they ever did much together except have dinner and sometimes breakfast, both of them fully indulged in their work the rest of the day. Work became their therapy eventually, leaving little time for one another and for fixing what’s been broken between them. This conclusion bothered them both to no end but neither wanted to address it out of fear of disturbing the other.
Luckily, Ethan didn’t feel the need to bring it up before taking action.
“Here we are!“ He announces eventually, causing Mia to snap her head upwards without a second to spare, curious eyes doing the best they can to take in the dark surroundings.
Surprisingly enough, she doesn’t have any problem with the dark. What happened back in Louisiana didn’t give her a phobia of the dark or of ships as her therapist initially thought she’d develop. However, she’s got a huge fear of bugs and insects now - especially mosquitos. Count on her husband carrying anti bug spray wherever they go - now is no exception.
As her eyes slowly adjust to the darkness of their surroundings, it doesn’t take her a while to realize they’re in an open yet secluded field. She’s not the slightest bit surprised by where he’s taken her, in fact, she recognizes it immediately. It’s the spot of their first official date.
“Who knew going to that dorm party would be the best thing I’d do in my life.“ He mumbles under his breath, admiring the sparkles in her eyes as she takes in the beautiful field bit by bit, letting the reel of memories play back, taking her all the way back to that first year of college, that fateful night when they met, followed by the night they came to this field.
“Who knew overcoming my fear of heights at an early age would’ve helped me find the man I’d eventually marry.“ She replies, turning to look at him, their gazes locking in place, both of them no reminiscing on those events they hadn’t recalled in a very long time.
2006
The humidity doesn’t suggest that the summer months have already ended. In fact, the air is still as unbreathable as it was in July and August, making the students who have to return to their studies super conflicted, longing for those beach days with little to no responsibilities. Given that no one is ready for the school year to start, the professors included, the first few weeks of college have been rather stress-free for Ethan. Well, that is if you don’t include the agony of moving into college as a freshman from an entirely different state.
Why he chose to go to college in Texas is a question he still doesn’t have a proper answer to. It was an impulsive, basically overnight decision, one that rattled his parents to no end when he announced it. However, having his own income and savings for college purposes, they couldn’t really do much in stopping him but they didn’t support him either. They kept trying to change his mind until the very last day but alas he stood his ground and now here he is, in his college dorm, trying to read a book while there’s a raging party going on just two floors above. The music is so loud though that is sounds more like it’s taking place in his closet instead.
His roommate went up to help set the party up, only putting mild effort into getting his Cali-boy roommate to tag along and join the shenanigans which Ethan appreciated. Parties have never really been his scene so he knew he would’ve kept refusing no matter how much he tried getting him up there.
Finding the read hopeless due to the distractions, Ethan ditches the book and lays back on his bed staring at the ceiling, feeling like a fish out of water, ready to suffocate any minute. The AC in the dorm is faulty so it’s not serving its purpose properly, leaving the air at the same temperature as it would be had the device not been turned on at all. He’s stranded on things to do, feeling awfully caged in this new environment without any proper entertainment, going even as far as to second-guess if his parents were maybe right all along.
Fortunately for him, just then, his roommate bursts in, humming along to the song that’s currently being played at the party, never missing a tune even in his clearly intoxicated state.
“Hey Winters, aren’t you Californians supposed to know of a good time? You’re disappointing me right now.“ Jared slurs, laughing a bit as he leans against the wall to keep himself to his feet.
Ethan can’t help but scoff, “Thought I’d be a party animal? Sorry for the letdown.”
Jared laughs, shaking his head, “Come on, Cali. You have two semesters to be sulking around, it’s too early to start. Listen, one beer and thirty minutes, that’s all I’m asking you for. If you like it you can stick around. If not, feel free to leave. Just please give it a shot. How else are you supposed to make friends?”
Ethan stops to contemplate for a second, weighing his options. Jared takes this as a hopeful sign, seeing as how his offer wasn’t immediately turned down as it was the first time. Finally, the blond sighs in defeat: “Ok, but thirty minutes only.“ He says as he slides off the bed, briefly looking at himself in the mirror and deeming his appearance decent enough for a dorm party. As a very new student, he’d like to make a good first impression on his classmates but given that they’re all probably wasted, he’s not stressing too much over his looks at the moment.
Following Jared up to the floor of the party, he’s immediately handed a beer which he accepts with little hesitation. His roommate goes around introducing him to a few people before he disappears with some girl he claims has been his on-again-off-again girlfriend since sophomore year of high school - Sarah. Ethan, of course, doesn’t stop him despite hating the ide of finding himself stuck alone in a crowd of people he’s seeing for the first time in his life. Still, he sticks to the deal: thirty minutes and a beer...ok, two beers, but they’ve done nothing to make him enjoy this party.
So, off he goes to search for Jared to tell him he’s leaving. Thinking he saw the dark haired girl he went off with going up the stairs to the roof, he quickly follows.
Little does he know, that’s not the dark haired girl he’s looking for. That’s Mia
Mia, the rowdy, outgoing Texas tomboy who, unlike Ethan, thoroughly enjoys going to parties and having a good time with her friends and a few drinks. However, even a party animal such as herself sometimes needs to take a breather especially when people are smoking cigarettes as though they’re inhaling air and she’s never tried a cigarette in her life and is actually quite against the idea. She found this rooftop to be her prefect hideaway whenever she felt like her surroundings would suffocate her. Students were strictly instructed that climbing up there would earn them a penalty but that didn’t bother her in the slightest - She’s been frequenting the roof already and it’s been barely a week of her fresh start in college. Luckily, she got over her fear of heights at the tender age of twelve so this journey to quite a high point doesn’t pose as much stress as it would’ve about a decade ago.
As she lies on the floor, looking up at the starry night sky above, she nearly jumps out of her skin when another voice calls out to her presumably though it’s not using the correct name.
“Hey, um, S-Sarah? Have you seen Jared?“
Mia turns her head as she sits up, one eyebrow raised as she takes a good look at the silhouette which this voice belongs to. It’s pretty dark so even if she knew him, she wouldn’t be able to recognize him but judging by the voice, this is not someone she’s familiar with. And judging by the accent, this guy is not from around here.
“I’m not Sarah, but if you’re looking for Jared Letterwood, I can guarantee he’s in Sarah’s dorm.“ Mia chuckles, “I’d know. Sarah’s my roommate.“
Ethan cringes at the thought, “Yikes, you’ve got it rough. I mean, Jared’s my roommate but so far I haven’t had to leave the dorm for him to...you know. Hope I never have to.” Suddenly, an idea strikes him, “Wait, where are you gonna sleep tonight?”
She laughs, lying back down with her arms folded behind her head, “Right here.” She drags out the words as she adjusts her position a little, eyes fluttering closed. “Stargazing helps me fall asleep. The whole ambience up here is just...perfect, you know. Jared and Sarah are really doing me a favor.”
Ethan can’t help but scoff, “Call me crazy, but I’ve never stargazed in my life. I don’t know, never really saw the whole appeal. Sure, it’s cool to see in a movie or whatever, but it’s got no real purpose in real life. Not that I’m trying to bash your hobby or anything...”
Before the clueless blond could finish his statement, Mia’s already snapped up in a sitting position, giving him a narrow-eyed glare he can’t really see in the darkness. Her hand taps the spot next to her, “Don’t knock until you try it, Cali boy. Come’ere, see what you’re missing out on.”
Though reluctant, Ethan takes a few steps forward, stopping for a second to ask: “Wait, how’d you know I’m Californian?” Regardless of his confusion, he sits his ass down as he was told, awkwardly laying down so that there’s half a foot or less between their bodies so he doesn’t accidentally touch her and run the risk of freaking her out.
“I know a lot of things, Cali. Unfortunately, your name isn’t one of them. That being said, either you tell me it, or I’ll have to keep calling you Cali.“ She says teasingly.
“Ethan. My name’s Ethan.“ He says through a sigh, unable to contain the smile that spreads across his face.
A smile mimicking his appears on her face as well, “Nice to meet you, Ethan. The name’s Mia.“
Needless to say, the following morning Ethan woke up still on the roof, and surprisingly and terrifyingly enough, with the girl he barely met the night prior in his arms. Under the light of the newly rising day he could examine her features better, taking in her absolute beauty, her pale features contrasting her dark as the night hair. She’s still asleep so he can’t see her eyes but he has no doubt they are as beautiful as she is. Everything about her looks so delicate yet sharp simultaneously. And he’s simply in awe.
To avoid any awkwardness in case she wakes up, he falls back asleep, not even trying to remove his arms from around her body, silently hoping she won’t kick his ass for it. The next time he wakes up, an undecided amount of time later, he’s alone on the rooftop. Alone with a note that says: ‘Did you like it? If yes, I got a better stargazing spot to show ya. You know where to find me
 ~ M‘
“And boy, was I missing out on something.“ Ethan whispers, gently running his fingers through his wife’s hair as they lay in that same field she was referring to in her note to him, gazing up at the stars, limbs intertwined, bodies completely collided.
“Told ya. Stargazing is incredible, ain’t it?“ Mia replies, snuggling closer though that’s simply impossible.
Her husband chuckles, his chest rumbling with the noise, “That’s not really what I meant.”
Her brows furrow but she doesn’t look at him, “Oh? Then what did you mean?”
With a content sigh, he replies, “I was missing out on having you in my arms, falling asleep and waking up by your side.“ He says, his lips planting a gentle kiss at the top of her head that has her melting in his embrace.
Mia’s not the romantic nor cheesy half of this relationship, quite the opposite, but she feels emotions to a way deeper level than Ethan would imagine her feeling. So, thankful to the darkness, Mia allows her eyes to gloss over with emotional tears as she rises up to collide her lips with his in a soft and tender kiss.
“I missed you so much, Mia.“ Ethan whispers when they pull away, foreheads resting against each other.
“I promise to never make you miss me again, baby.“ She replies in a tone as hushed as his. As though they are both afraid someone would overhear this vow of theirs and try to force them to break it.
“That’s impossible.“ He says with a soft chuckle, “I always miss you at least a little.“
Mia hums in response, “Well, right now, you don’t have to miss me at all. I’m all yours. You’re the only thing on my mind, Mr. Winters.“
Even in the dark, she sees the grin that lights up his face, “As you are the only thing on mine, Mrs. Winters.” With that, their lips reestablish their contact, this time maintaining it longer, making it more passionate than before.

what other people want added to Minecraft: g u n s
what I want added to Minecraft
•Birds
-For multiple biomes, but mainly for the forests.
-Songbirds would add SO MUCH life to the otherwise quiet areas of the game
-Ravens and crows would be awesome and could use some of the parrot mimicking AI
-Cardinals in the snow biomes would bring a GORGEOUS pop of colour into the white atmosphere
-Seriously we need something to populate the sky, parrots do NOT fly like they should
-nests in trees, can find eggs in them
-doesn't really add a use but fun new feather types would be cool
•Owls
-technically still a bird but would go really well in covered rooftop forests and snow biomes
-we're already getting larger avians added in the form of vultures so why not more large birds?
•Mice and / or rats
-absolute precious babies
-sadly would go well with owls :(
-with cave update coming we need adorable rodents scurrying around
-lil bastards could make mouseholes inside of blocks
-will they be tameable? idk.
-adds the necessity for cheese
•Deer
-MOJANG this is a MUST, this is a NEED
-You literally have pigs, chickens, cows, and sheep spawning in forests what the fuck
-Deer with spotty baby fawns??? Yes
-Young bucks with different stages of antler growth? Yes
-Fawns frolicking in flower forests bc they feel safe
-Stripped wood appearing on trees where bucks scrape velvet off their antlers
-Being able to collect sets of antlers when they fall off periodically (would NOT be attainable by killing the deer, you have to wait for them to shed)
•Elk and Moose
-Same vein as deer
-Bigger, much bigger, neutral instead of passive, less shy
-Snowy biomes
-Better additions than fucking llamas tyvm
-Sidenote but savannahs could also really use some endangered deer-like species to help raise awareness for their status
•Squirrels
-Mojang plz
-Adds nuts to Minecraft ;)
-Black, grey, red, and mixed colour squirrels and breeding
-Brings life to forests like songbirds and deer
•Bears
-Mojang bby you literally already have a neutral bear in Minecraft why have you not reskinned it for grizzly/brown/black bears?
-Bear caves
-Hibernating mobs
-Brings more use to the beehives and bees, bears could be attracted to any area that has more than one bee hive with honey
•WOLVES AND DOGS
-They NEED the ocelots and cats update
-More wolf types (red, timber, snow, black, etc)
-Actual wolf packs (the AI would be difficult to program but the doges are worth it)
-Please let the howl at the moon, if foxes get to say ringdingding all night long wolves deserve to be allowed to howl
-More dog breeds (I know that there's no reason for domesticated dog breeds in Minecraft but ACTUALLY THERE IS)
-Hunting dogs like springers that can jump and run faster
-Foxhounds :D
-Most Important Goodest Boy: Herding dogs like collies and sheepdogs
-Herding dogs could be found in plains where cows and sheep spawn and create herds
-LET DOGS LAY DOWN FOR FUCKS SAKE
•Herding
-Instead of having to pen up and enclose your livestock you could form herds of cows and sheep
-Your Goodest Boi herding dog would protect them and move around with them when they graze
-Just soft peaceful minecraft tingz
•Salt licks
-Something SO SMALL but would make SO MUCH HAPPINESS
-Drawing new cows into your herd by putting up a salt lick
-I'm soft

-thumbs
-be gay do crimes
-can open chests (trigger trap chests to catch them?)
-Fantastic little shits
-Not tameable but will trust players like foxes do

-I know it's a lot to ask and it would be hard to make them look good
-But??? Imagine a tiny lil garter snake in your garden
-unlikely but would be so fantastic
•Rope
-climeable
-please Mojang we need this so badly
-imagine the ships? The bridges? The bell towers and everything?
-super easy to add, just reskin vines and add a string crafting recipie
•Butterflies and Moths
-Bflies could be a unique mob to flower forests and friends with bees
-if moobloom is added they would all be BEST BUDS
-get it "buds" ahahaha
-help with flower polination but just gives a TON of life to flower forests
-We literally have lanterns in minecraft why do we NOT have moths? Such a cool aesthetic addition.
-helps fill both the daytime and nighttime sky
•Hummingbirds
-fourth member of BEST BUDS
-just soft baby
-i love birbs okay
-the only avian who does not work for the bourgeoisie
•Fireflies
-10 million of them please
-they give great hugs
-adds so much atmosphere to the night world
•Cheese
-We have milk
-We have, presumably, goat milk
-Quit being cowards and add butter and cheese
-Butter churn job block for villagers
-V funny bc they have no arms to churn with?? Oh well
•Seashells
-Something decorative and beautiful that could 1) liven up beaches and 2) have snails and crabs inside!
-Mojang plz do not add sand dollars to the game people already don't know how to tell if they're still alive before trying to take them home
•Whales
-WHALES.
-Imagine something as massive as the ender dragon but peaceful. Allows you to stand on them (idk how but make it happen Jeb)
-WHALE SONGS.
-Being so deep and far out into the ocean, and when the moon is high in the sky and you're sitting in your boat, you just hear the beautiful melancholy sounds of the whales in the distance
•Jellyfish
-Idk if y'all know this but the glow squid is a bad idea
-Dream buddy you fucked up, please use your influence to get in contact with Mojang and have them redo the vote. People would have so much regained respect for you if you tried to fix your mistake.
-Also why does a speedrunner get to tell millions of people what mob would bring more life to Minecraft? He's only playing the game for 5 minutes smh
-aNYWAYS
-Jellyfish could literally do everything the glow squid is going to and look better for it AND possibly be neutral instead of peaceful
•Orcas
-Not much to say but it would liven up the frozen water biomes a bit
•Penguins
-You already know why
-Imagine giving a new home to all the Club Penguin players? Legendary.
-Gender doesn't exist in Minecraft but we all know penguins would be hella gay
•Lobsters
-I think they would be cute
-You would NOT BE ABLE TO BOIL THEM ALIVE THANK YOU VERY MUCH

-brings life to the rivers
-super cute
•Frogs and possibly toads
-Swamp gods
-Absolute mad lads
-maybe grow from tadpoles

•Big cats
-Tigers, lions, bobcats, panthers
-Literally anything that could finally add a strong predator possibility to savannahs and jungles

-The better llama
-Can honestly just be a reskin
-brings much needed life to the desert

-King Julian stans awaken
•Red pandas
-we need them
-cuter than normal pandas and you can @ me
-better idea than sloths or koalas
•More Eldritch Horror Hostile Mobs
-Fun fact time
-The enchanting table language already has Lovecraftian references
-"phnglui mglwnafh cthulhu rlyeh wgahnagl fhtagn" is literally a quote from the enchanting table
-translates to "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
-Bet you didn't know that fun fact
-aNYWAYS add the Kraken to Minecraft instead of the shitty guardians. Thanks.
-imagine how cool it would be to see lights slowly extinguish as something terrifying and dangerous slowly moves in for the kill
-torches get extinguished and can get relit
-if not relit fast enough Something will be waiting
•Ice statues
-We have giant fossils and ship wrecks and cool stuff like that but please imagine finding a GIANT humanoid ice sculpture in an ice spikes biome
-maybe bones inside to show you that... That wasn't carved or naturally generated.

-Space is gay minecraft is gay thus minecraft space is gay
•Corn
-we have butter in this list
-we have salt in this list
-popcorn. That is all.
And finally
•Leeks
-mostly a joke but would be a cool crop
-100% a reference to Hatsune Miku the creator of Minecraft
DISCLAIMER: I recognize that mobs are added to Minecraft to serve a purpose within the game and that many of these mobs would be better in mods and such, but I also feel like many of these suggestions would really bring so much more life to parts of the game that really need it. Even if they don't serve a huge purpose, they would still be really amazing additions imo.
I would love to see the ideas and suggestions that other people have for what they want added to Minecraft, please TAG ME if you make a post like this, I wanna hear and read it!

Burnt Out
Bitches... (1, I love you all very much. 2, .... read 1) it's time for some angst...
And the start of me making poly relationship things-
Request away lol (I'm working on a request and small project chapters :) )
Warnings: Toxic Relationship, mentions scars, burns, Manga spoilers, swearing, emotionally abusive behavior, mentally abusive behavior, gaslighting(?) Let me know if I missed any!
You giggled as both men chased after you through the halls of the hotel. "(Y/N), you're wearing socks! You're going to- shit!" Niragi yelled after you, cursing when he saw you fall. You slipped down the stairs. You landed with a thud at the bottom. Tears filled your eyes at the pain, but you swallowed them back, standing up. You yelped, falling back to the floor. Chishiya stared down at you, kneeling besides you,  squeezing your leg. "Ow! Shi-Shi, hurts," you whined, slapping his hand away. He glared up at you. "Maybe don't be stupid next time. I'm just trying to help you," he scoffed, going back to trying to find out what was wrong. "You don't have to be so mean to he-" "Shut up. You're dumber than her, you're the whole reason this happened anyways." He felt people stare, and stopped. "Take her back up to our room. I'll figure out what's wrong there," Chishiya stated, getting up, and walking away. You expected Niragi to yell after him, or repremand him for something, but we're met by silence. "Gi-Gi, you ok?" You whispered as he picked you up softly. He pressed a quick kiss to your forehead nodding.
"Niragi... this isn't the way back to our room," you said, noticing he was taking you the opposite way. "Clever girl," he praised with a smile. You laughed at his words. "I'm taking you to Ann. She has more equipment to help you. I'll get Chishiya after I take you to her though," he explained. You nodded.
_______________________________________
"And then it was like bam, then woosh, and like... wow!!" You exclaimed, trying to find the words to explain your game. Niragi laughed, patting the top of your head. "Sounds fun sweetheart. Tell me all about it after I take a shower," he said. You nodded with a smile, sitting on the edge of your bed. Chishiya had been on the bed, listening to your rambling. "Chishiya, I think it was really cool how you tried to-" you started. "Gods you're loud. Quiet down. And I know. I'm clever, after all. Neither of you would be here without me. Probably dead," he lectured. "But Chishiya, Niragi and I survived without you before we came to the Beach, remember? We were t-" you started, confused at his words. "I get it, he's your favorite out of us both! You make it so fucking obvious. I bet the only reason you wanted both of us is because you're an attention whore who needs multiple men to use her to feel good about herself. Shut up and let me sleep," he shouted. Tears filled your eyes as he turned away from you. Had you really shown favoritism? You didn't try to, if you had. You always made sure you tried to do things with both. Was he feeling left out? Is that why he was being a jerk?
Those were all thoughts running through your mind, not knowing that you weren't the problem. You had spent equal time with both, giving them equal attention. Chishiya just never wanted you around him.
_______________________________________
"(Y/N), come with me. Now," Chishiya ordered. Ten of Hearts. That was tonight's game. And you were terrified. He had pulled you away before anything got to out of hand. You thought that maybe he was trying to be nice. Maybe he had finally come around? Had you given him enough attention? "W-where's Niragi?" You asked, jogging to catch up with him. "Don't worry about him let's go."
You followed him around the whole time, watching as his hands quickly grabbed items. ''What are you making?" You asked, hoping he didn't snap at you. You feared his response. "Something to beat the game with. If you can't bring the witch to the fire, bring the fire to the witch," he said. You sighed in relief. He didn't yell at you, and you were happy about it. "Ok... so... you know who the witch is?" You questioned. "I have a hunch. Now stop asking questions," he stated. "So annoying..." you heard him mutter. You frowned, keeping your lips shut.
Following him up the stairs, you kept to yourself. You knew he wouldn't care about your thoughts. He might yell at you, or call you annoying. You didn't want to make him angry... He was just trying to protect you, right?
"Niragi!" You shouted happily, seeing he was at the rooftop. He wasn't dead. He looked over at you with a smirk. "Ah, so he did keep you safe. Where were you hiding?" He asked, picking up his gun from the floor. "There's many places for me to hide," Chishiya responded. You tried walking towards Niragi, but Chishiya grabbed your sleeve. You tugged at his hand, trying to get away. "Let me go," you said, struggling against him. "No."
The next few minutes went in a blur. All you remember was Chishiya and Niragi arguing a bit back and forth. You were so overwhelmed already, the game getting to you, and now your lovers were fighting. Cards flying, fire, screaming. You couldn't tell if it was your own scream or Niragi's, but it didn't matter.
"C-chishiya what the hell?! W-what?!" You yelled, shaking, stepping back from him. "Hmm... guess he wasn't the witch then,'' he stated, dropping the homemade flamethrower to the ground. He started picking up the cards on the floor. You however tried taking deep breaths, trying to calm yourself. You couldn't. Tears slipped off your face, hands scratching you your arms. You couldn't scream, couldn't talk, couldn't move. It was like you were living in a nightmare.
_______________________________________
There was more instances, of course, but you were so done with everything. Niragi was still alive, to your relief. After all that, he was alive. And that's all that mattered to you. Chishiya had been with you, and still was. Understandably, you were scared of him. Niragi was angry at him, but couldn't do anything about it.
"Look, just tell me I'm right, and we're fine," Chishiya stated bored of the conversation. Both you and Niragi were so tired of this. The constant fighting, gaslighting, and hateful words. Chishiya was just too prideful to admit he was wrong.
It was a relationship between you three. You and Niragi shouldn't be putting in all the work, while he didn't try. At the begin he had. He had tried to be a part of the relationship, giving you both kisses and hugs. Random bouts of energy at 3 am to go to a random room. It had all started slowly going down hill. He pushed you both away, but didn't want to leave. He never left, giving you hope that maybe he really loved you both, and just didn't know how to express it. He had told you about his parents, and you just always tried to excuse his behavior as his trauma, but it just got to a point where you couldn't anymore.
"You're right," you started. You saw him smirk, and continued. "We couldn't fix you," you said. Suddenly he wasn't so sure of where this was going. "You're right, we shouldn't have tried to. Your pride is what you're concerned about?" Niragi said. He was tired of dealing with this as well. All he wanted was to find someone who actually cared about him, and who showed it. He didn't want to be with someone who made him feel alone. You didn't make him feel alone... "I'm still right, he wo-" Chishiya started, getting ready to argue back and forth with you two until you finally gave into him. But that wasn't going to happen today.
"Is "you're right" really all you wanna hear right now?" You whimpered, sitting on your knees next to Niragi.
"Well, you're right, we should've walked away faster... should've know You would only break our hearts after we were already in love," You whispered. You were all hurt. Niragi had severe burns, and bullet wounds, Chishiya had bullet wounds as well. You had burns on your arms and legs, cuts and bruises adorned your (s/c) skin. Most of which Chishiya had caused when he put you in danger at games for his own gain. Or when he needed to test one of the weapons he made, you were his test subject. "Yeah, I guess I'm just not good enough for either of you then. All you two do is act scared of me like I'm the bad guy-"
"You're right, you aren't good enough," Niragi stated angrily, caughing up blood after. He winced in pain at the sudden movement. You felt tears fill your eyes, and shook them away. ''I kissed your scars even after you hurt me, and he held your hand, even when you fucking burned him-" you shouted angrily. "Do you know how embarrassing that was?" Niragi whispered, his voice hoarse and raspy.
"Oh, because it's all my fault?"
"Yeah! That's exactly what we're saying! When was the last time you actually tried acting like you liked us?"
''She's right. You agreed to be with us. This is just fucking embarrassing to be with somebody who hates us, and doesn't even try to hide it."
"I don't hate you two I-"
"Liar."
"We hoped things got better, we hoped that love could turn a monster into a man," you stated, getting angrier by him trying to defend himself. "But it doesn't and it won't
Because you're beyond repair
But there is still someone for her somewhere, who will treat her so nice, you'll wish that you did-" Niragi retorted to his words. He didn't hate you both? He sure did a horrible job at showing it. Niragi knew he would die with his injuries. You would live. You could find someone who would treat you better than either of them could. "For someone so smart you're so fucking stupid to think that we're really that dumb..." you interrupted Niragi. He was losing energy, and anytime he coughed you could tell it was so painful to him. "We love you, but we're done... Pretending this was gonna work... Pretending loving you didn't hurt... Pretending that it doesn't burn when you think you're always right..." Niragi ended. Those words were hard for him to say, and hard for you to realize. You three had just been pretending this was going to work after Chishiya started pushing you two away. You two tried so hard to stay with him, and tried so hard to fit all three of you together, that you didn't realize how much staying fucking hurt.
" 'Cause you're still stuck on your past...You hate him so much but you're just like your dad!!" You screamed, shouting the first thing that came to mind. It hurt him. That was a first. The first time someone's words hurt him. And you, (Y/N), his sweet (Y/N), said them. You could see the shock written all over his face when you said them, and it made you feel a bit bad. Niragi was secretly proud of you, but focused on the situation at hand. Tears feel from your eyes, and you cursed yourself. "(Y/N), I- I'm- I can't... I-" Chishiya stammered. For once, he was at a loss for words. You and Niragi had made him happy. He didn't feel alone with you two, and that scared him. So he tried to push you both away, scared of hurting either of you, but I'm the end, he hurt you more than he meant to. He tried, he really tried at the beginning, the feeling of being together with you two bringing him the feeling of love, understanding, and happiness he'd never felt. But he ruined that. He hurt himself in this instance, he hurt the people he loved, making them scared of him. He realized you were right. He was turning out to be just like his father. He didn't want that. He wanted to wake up, this was surely a nightmare. He would wake up and you would be squished in between him and Niragi. You would be playing with his hair, talking about your dream. You wouldn't be scared of him, and you would all be back at the beach. Like the 10 of hearts never happened. But he knew that was wishful thinking. This was real, and this was happening. Everything he used to laugh about people worrying about was happening to him right now. This was his karma. It had finally caught up to him.
"And I know, that you tried...Gave it all that you had," you whispered through tears. No. He couldn't let the one thing that made him happy slip through his fingers. But... he had to let you go. You wanted to leave. Niragi wanted to leave. It would be cruel to both of you to make you stay. So he stayed quiet. Did you really think he tried? That made him feel a tiny bit better. You thought he tried. That he tried to make things work. "And being a monster doesn't necessarily make you bad..." Niragi added quietly. He was a monster. The words he had said to not only you, but Niragi could back that up. Not just his words either. His actions. He was a horrible person to both of you. Why did he expect both of you to stay with him, when neither of you had anymore energy to put into the relationship.
"But...even if we could staple it back together now... we all know that you can't light a fire that's already burnt out," Chishiya whispered. You both looked up, shocked he was agreeing with you. Was he crying? Neither you nor Niragi had ever seen him cry. Niragi chuckled a bit, not at the fact that Chishiya was crying, but at the fact that this was what it took for him to care. "Fuck... it hurts," Chishiya muttered with a laugh. "My injuries hurt less than losing both of you... fuck... I-"
He was interrupted by a voice. The games were over. "Oh my gods... we can go home! I reject citizenship in the borderlands," you said. "Same. I don't want to stay here. Fuck that," Niragi stated. "I also reject citezenship of the borderlands. This is like a personal hell..." Chishiya muttered. A bright light obstructed your vision.
You walked on crutches into their hospital room with a smile. " 'M back!" You chirped. You had all been in an accident, as a lot of people that were currently in the hospital were. You didn't know why, but the seemed so familiar. You liked being around them, and constantly visited them. "Ah, finally a pleasant noise to hear," the blonde man complemented. You could hear the teasing tone directed towards the other man in the room. "I can't really help it can I? So... shaddup..." the other muttered. "My nurse told me... that my heart stopped... for a minute," you mentioned, sitting in a chair in between their beds careful to not hurt your legs more. They had burns and scars, nothing tho serious. "What a coincidence. Us too," Chishiya said. You nodded, humming in acknowledgement. "I um... I also... get released tomorrow..." you said sadly. "That's great (Y/N). You can head back to your home," Niragi said. You shook your head. "I wanna stay. I don't know why, but you two seem familiar to me. And... I want to know why... it feels like...I don't know how to explain it..." you stated. "I... I've felt that as well," Chishiya admitted. "Ok, good I'm not crazy then," Niragi joked, coughing slightly after. "Well... how about I come visit everyday until you both get released... then we can figure out why? Or get to know each other more? It feels like... I've loved you in a past life kinda thing. Silly of me to say, huh?" You giggled. "I think... we'd both enjoy that... and it's not silly, in fact, we've both been talking about it, and that's how we feel. About you, and each other. It's quite weird, I've never met either of you in my life. You're both rather attractive though," Chishiya said. Niragi snickered and you looked over at Chishiya, who's eats had turned red.
"I said that outloud, didn't I?"
"Yep."
"It's a good thing I find both of you attractive too, blondie."
"Hey, I think you're both cute too! Lemme join in on this!"
"Of course. Join in on it (Y/N)."
I couldn't let you guys be sad, I'm sorry-
Also, I'm going on a trip to Arizona this week, so there will probably not be many (or any) updates. Sorry, but I do hope you enjoy this!

Part two
It had been three months since you had last seen Rex and almost two since your last transmission with him. His leave had been cut short when a crucial system had been invaded by Separatist forces and he had to rush to leave. You had helped him get ready as best as you could and sent him with some of the leftover dinner that you had made from the night left before.
It was always hard to see him go, especially when you had made plans for him, but you understood. He had a job to do and you both agreed when you started dating that it would be hard to keep a good balance, but you both always tried as best as you could. But this time had been especially hard.
The only news you had heard from this system, when you even heard news at all, had been bad. Rex had only been able to talk to you for a few minutes before the transmission had been cut off. He had only been able to let you know that he was alive and that he had no idea when he would be home. You spent most nights after that call lying awake, your mind running wild with what might be happening. Just hoping that he was safe, and that he would come back to you.
As you worked each day, you tried to stay focused on whatever vehicle you were working on so that you could leave behind all of the heart wrenching scenarios that you had thought up the night before. It worked most times, but when it just wasn’t enough, you would think about past dates with Rex. They were never particularly fancy, but you wouldn’t ask for anything else.
The first date you went on was nice and quiet. Equally matched in nervousness, neither of you could keep the heat from rising in your face. He had taken you to this small rooftop restaurant on the far side of Coruscant, close to your apartment and far enough from the senate building that neither of you had to worry about listening to a senator complaining about the food that they had been served. It was a small place, but the food was as amazing as the company you shared. After you left, you walked the upper levels of Coruscant for hours, just talking. About your job, his brothers, your family, all of the planets he had been to, your favorite speeders to work on, why he modified his armor. Everything.
He told you about a mission that he had been on in the Outer Rim at the start of the war. How it was the most peaceful mission he had ever been a part of.
It was a relief mission to help resupply the capitol city of Sesid with clean water after the main plant had been targeted by Separatist attacks. The planet was covered in lush tropical forests, and the beaches that lied outside of the town were adorned with beautiful pink sand.
While they were on the planet, the people would bring them home cooked food in order to thank them for their help. He told you how it was some of the best food he had ever tasted. Almost as good as yours. But the best thing, he said, were the cookies.
At first glance, they did not look like much. A bit of chocolate in between two flavored wafers, that was then baked. He told you how they just melted as soon as they were in your mouth and how he would like to go back to the planet after the war to find them again.
When you had finally meandered back to your apartment after hours of talking, you both just stood at the door in silence, not wanting the night to end. At the end of the hall on your floor, beams of golden sunlight began to peer through the window, illuminating the beautiful features of his face.
“I guess we stayed out pretty late, huh?” You motioned toward the window with a small smile.
He looked at the window and then back at you. “Yeah, I guess we did” he said with a laugh.
“I had a really nice time” you said as you looked up at him. “I wish that the night was longer, but if I’m being honest, I probably won’t be able to stay awake for much longer.”
Rex brought his hand up to the back of his neck as he looked out the window overlooking the city again. “Hm. Yeah. I should probably be getting back to the barracks.”
“Yeah. You wouldn’t want Kix to pull rank to force you to sleep again,” you giggled as you turned around to unlock your door.
“Hey! That’s only happened four times!”
“Four times to many,” you smirked. “Thank you again for the wonderful night. I had fun,” you smiled as you turned around to face him again.
“So did I,” he said softly as he gently grabbed your hand and began tenderly running his thumb over your knuckles. “Can I see you again?”
You looked up from where he held your hand to meet his eyes. As he looked at you, you saw the adoration on his face that had mixed with the fear of waiting for your answer. As he gazed at you, you felt the heat rising up in your face like it had when the night first began.
“Yes.” You smiled. “I would like that very much.”
A smile broke out across his face that outshone the sunlight that was seeping into the small hallway.
He bent down into a bow and brought your hand up to his lips and lightly kissed it. “Well, until then cyare,” he said as his smile continued to beam up at you. As he stood up, he brought his face up to yours a placed a kiss on your cheek. “Get some sleep Y/N,” he said as he gave you one last smile and walked back down the hall toward the stairway.
You stood there for a moment and brought your hand up to touch your still buzzing cheek. After a moment, you smiled and entered your apartment. “Until then Rex,” you whispered to yourself.
As you stood up from your workbench, you kept wishing that Rex could be here with you now. You wished that you could be on another peaceful date with him and that you could feel his warmth beside you. You wiped down all of your tools and began placing them back into their places on the shelves when your communicator beeped.
“Huh. That’s weird,” you said as you picked it up. “Its late for anyone to be comming me.” You looked down at the message and your heart leapt out of your chest.
We are coming home. Will be back planet side tomorrow. Can’t talk now but will see you at your apartment when dismissed.  See you soon. ~  Rex
“Rex,” you whispered to yourself. “He’s safe.” You felt the weight of the last three months completely leave you and you rushed to finished packing up for the night.
As you locked up the repair hangar you were thinking about what you were going to want to do for Rex when he got back. You knew that this mission had been a particularly bad one and that he would want nothing more than to get his mind off of it.
As you walked through the many booths and shops that littered the street, you saw one out of the corner of your eye that had a familiar look to it.
You walked over to it and looked at the shopkeeper. “Are you new around here? I’ve never seen your booth before.”
“Sure am! I just got here five days ago.” He motioned to the shelves and tables that made up the little booth. “Is there anything that I can get for you?”
As you looked at the many trinkets and small packages of food that adorned the table, you realized where you had seen these things before. Rex had pulled up pictures of that planet he had told you about on the holonet. “Are you from Sesid by any chance?”
“Yeah,” he said enthusiastically. “How’d you know? Most people can’t tell just based off the goods.”
“My boyfriend was there on a relief mission once. He showed me pictures when we were talking about it.”
“Ah! He must be one of the clones that helped get water back to the capitol city, right? That’s the only relief mission I ever heard about. Never cared too much to venture to the capitol myself but a buddy of mine said that they were pretty helpful.” He started to lean back into one of the counters as he spoke. “Me? I was getting tired of the attacks on the planet that had to keep being fended off. Well, that and the kriffing tourists,” he said as he rolled his eyes. “Anyways, why do you ask? Is there something from Sesid that meets your fancy?”
“Actually, yeah,” you smiled. “Do have any cookie type things? The ones with chocolate in them?”
The man bit his lip and looked up, thinking. “You mean Idelle wafers? Two things with chocolate in between them?” He reached under the counter and produced a small bag with the picture of the cookies on them.
“Yes! That looks like them!” The man handed you the bag and you looked it over. “How much?”
“Well that bag has about three of them in there, and its two credits. But,” he said reaching back below the counter, “this one has ten of them in it, and its six credits.”
“I’ll take the bigger one please.” You reached into your pocket and handed the man the credits.
He pocketed them and smiled back up at you. “Thank you very much. Have a nice night and enjoy those Idelle wafers!” He waved and turned to start helping the next person at the counter.
You nodded and started to walk back toward your apartment. “I think he will,” you murmured to yourself as you continued into the night.
