just a thought but none of them suffered a quick and probably painless death. in ep 2 charlie was gutted open, niki was already shot once before she died, vinny most likely got burnt by the lazers before he hit his head/got crushed by an anvil(?), ethan was mauled, austin and sneeg get crushed slowly by the wall and now it follows the same trend in ep3 with ranboo still twitching for a couple seconds after the box closes, before their shoulders slump down, same thing with charlie again in ep 3 where he get mauled by the tv box monster. and if were really counting that the body with the tv monster by the exit before the chase was really sneeg again, he was also mauled and also was probably still conscious and in pain before he died.

Finding a cozy spot at a table to the left of the bride and groom, you flipped open your notebook and started jotting down pin points on the decor, the flowers, the bride's beautiful flowing silk gown, and the way the groom looked at her with stars in his eyes.
The first dance song rang around the room gathering all the adorned looks of friends and family watching as another couple took the leap on spending the rest of their lives together.
A rocks glass was placed in front of your pen and paper as the chair next to her was suddenly filled with the stranger who put it there.
“Taking notes for your own wedding?”
“Oh. No, I'm doing a piece for the Daily on their wedding.”
“Are you y/n l/n by any chance?”
“I am. You’re familiar with me?”
“Yeah, just through the bride. She’s my sister. She talks about you nonstop. I’m Soonyoung, I was the one who contacted you.”
“I see. Nice to meet you. What’s the drink for?”
“Working hard, I figured you should at least enjoy yourself a little bit.”
“That’s nice. Thank you.”
Soonyoung stared at the girl across from him, trying to catch a peak at her notes seeing if she was painting this night in a perfect light.
You caught on and shut the book quietly, giving him a small wink as a shout it would be everything his sister wanted.
“What’s the drink?”
“A vodka soda, lemon.”
“So, you know my drink order? Thought you said you didn’t know who I was?”
“I saw you at a wedding a few weeks ago, my friend Seungkwan. I noticed your drink, that's all. That’s how I got your contact actually.”
“Lying on the first meet, a great sign. No wonder you look so familiar to me. You were the best man right? But blonde at the time?”
“My sister would’ve killed me if I was blonde at her wedding and sorry not lying just felt creepy admitting it.
“I liked it.”
Soonyoung laughed remembering the conversation he had with his sister about his hair.
“So what’s it like being in two weddings in one month, Soonyoung?”
“Actually I’m going to be in three. Next week my coworker is getting married. Which would make my wedding count twenty-six.”
“You’ve been to twenty-six weddings?”
“Yep. After next week anyway. What’s your wedding count?”
“Ones I’ve covered? Too many to count. Ones I’ve been in? Two I think. Both of my brothers are married. That’s about it.”
“So you cover weddings but aren’t married?”
Rolling your eyes at his unfiltered nature, you couldn’t help but feel like his question was out of curiosity and not judgment. The way his eyes searched hers for answers was genuinely adorable.
“Almost at one point, but he cheated on me and is marrying her now. I didn’t actually become a journalist to cover weddings anyway, it sort of just happened.”
“I see.”
“What about you? Being at all those weddings and never getting married?”
“No. Not even close, I was in love with the same girl for a long time, but she didn’t feel the same way.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
After spending the rest of your night enjoying Soonyoungs company, you bid goodbye to the bride and groom and headed back to your home to get down to working on the article.
Digging through your black leather tote you realize you forgot to take your journal home with you, leaving it on the white table cloth being distracted by a new friend.
Realizing you don’t have his number you took it upon yourself to stalk his social media profiles in hope you could find a way to get in contact with him, maybe he was your saving grace in taking your book for safekeeping until he could give it back to you.
Saying fuck it for now you just began typing away about your night, thanking god or whomever that you backed up your calendar digitally when you get a clever idea to write an article still about weddings, but about the person you met who had been a groomsmen all those times. Searching for any kind of photos and videos of his past times supporting nuptials.
All you came up with was a couple cheesing photos of him posing in his suits of many colors and types when you get the idea to go back into your own rolodex of photos and writings from weddings you’ve done in the past, noticing him standing near the bride and groom in just a few it was now safe to say he has piqued your interest even more than before.
You decided to draft an email to your boss begging for the chance to write her an article about the types of bridesmaids and groomsmen who’ve been involved in many years of weddings as a support, if you found one person who had done so many in a short time it wouldn’t be hard to find more right?
Before getting ready for bed you sat refreshing your email waiting for the go-ahead to investigate Soonyoung further with the excuse that it was simply just for work, it took multiple scrolls to the point where your thumb was starting to hurt from running it over the screen until she replied.
‘Y/n, feel free to start drafting up the story. If I like it I’ll let you have more creative articles in the future. Please have it on my desk in two weeks.’
When the morning finally arrived, you had to make the rough decision to get out of bed and head to grab a coffee from the shop in your apartment lobby. Normally you’d be cuddled on your couch with your cat, spending your Saturday morning reading and watching reruns of your favorite reality shows, but much to your surprise the coffee stash you usually have stocked has dried up.
Exiting the silver doors of the elevator a call came from the front desk attendant and you were met by a brown paper bag tied with a bow, the outside scribbled on with some crayons of silly faces and drawings of cartoon tigers, stickers of hello kitty, and a pink note taped to the handle.
“Miss. Y/l/n! Some boy dropped this for you last night.”
“Oh? Thank you, Max.”
Ripping open the small note in line for your morning brew, it instantly puts a smile on your face.
‘Hi, I noticed you left this on the table. Hope it’s not weird. I dropped it off for you. Your address was inside. At least I can stalk you now. - Soonyoung (wedding guy lol)”
Inside the bag was your planner and a few random pieces of candy thrown around. A small bookmark was placed on a page and written underneath was a date for next Thursday and the number of your new favorite subject marked ‘single seeking wedding date.’
After grabbing the paper cup from the barista behind the counter you whip your phone out and dial the number written inside your prized possession.
“Hello, is this the single seeking a date?”
“Hey, it is. Is this the cute girl who’s planner I found?”
“I think so? I don’t know any other cute girls who like going to weddings.”
“Are you available for drinks and a little pre-wedding party?”
“When?”
“Tonight.”
“Tonight? Wow. Eager to see me again I see.”
“I am. And I’m being bold right now which is new for me, so please don’t make me cry.”
“Aw. But I’m sure you’re so pretty when you cry.”
“I’m always pretty, y/n. So?”
“Sure. Why not?”
You heard Soonyoung gasp over the phone and drop something loud.
“Really?”
“Want me to take it back?”
“No. Cool. I will.. pick you up at 6:30? We can get some drinks before and then it’s just like a casual party, but my friends are kind of fancy so maybe like nice cocktail attire. I’m sure you know.”
“Okay. I’m sure you remember where to find me? After all, you did confess to being a stalker.”
“Oh my god. I was kidding, don’t take me seriously. I’ll see you then.”
“See you, Soony. Ok now I’m corny. That wasn’t meant to be a pun. Bye.”
Hearing the boy's laughter over the phone almost gave you butterflies.
“You’re funny. Bye.”
Spending the rest of your normally relaxing afternoon getting ready to slyly interrogate your new friend, you decided to not go out of your way to look overly special after all you weren’t even sure this quote on quote date was anything romantic or just a way of initiating a friendship.
Just before you leave your front door you sat to think if it was appropriate to bring along the same journal that was delivered to you the same morning, but made the conscious decision to leave it behind and not make this first night getting to know each other about you digging into his life for your own gain.
The ride down the elevator had you inspecting yourself in its small safety mirror, fixing the very last strand of hair that felt out of place on your head, not paying any attention to the people jumping off and on from their various floors.
When you finally stepped out into the marble covered lobby, you immediately spotted Soonyoung draped over the side of the couch holding his legs close, almost like a nervous child looking around the room and pouting because he can’t find his toy.
When he finally locked eyes with you his childlike demeanor changed immediately into a spunky puppy, jumping up from his seat and dusting off crumbs on his pants that weren’t even there in the first place, maybe to wipe his hands from their small sweat they were undergoing.
“Hi, y/n. You look very nice”
“Really? So do you. Where are we headed?”
“There’s a cool poet themed bar just like two blocks from here, I thought you’d enjoy it since you’re a writer and everything.”
You looked at Soonyoung with wide eyes, it was a sign of how considerate he was yet again, just like the thought he put into bringing you, your planner and decorating the bag.
His sharp brown eyes sparkled under the street lights, almost like they were reflecting stars, his baggy khaki pants with matching jacket slung perfectly over his frame, he was cute. You could admit it to yourself that something about him was magnetic and you already wanted more.
“Y/n? Is that not your thing? I’m sorry we can do something else, I shouldn’t of assumed all writers like poetr-“
“Oh I’m sorry, I was distracted. Has anyone told you that you have insanely cute eyes? But yes, poetry’s cool. I’m more of a classic novel girl, but it sounds fun. Stop second guessing yourself. You’re good.”
Your hand moved faster than your brain as you brought it up to pat him gently on his shoulder, a confirmation that you were having a good time and trying to ease his awkwardness.
“Yeah, people have once or twice.”
“Good. They really are cute.”
The pink of Soonyoung’s cheeks grew into a deep red as he led you into the bar. The walls were covered in decaying pieces of paper written with words people had to get out for comfort. The smell was like the oldest library on earth, with a tinge of vanilla and vodka ringing through.
Your brain took a moment to be present and remember all of the bad dates of your past. Maybe this wasn’t a date of your future, but if it was, he had already exceeded your expectations.
As the waitress took your order, one Body Electric for your new friend a legit inspiration from Walt
Whitman to your choice which was a play on a Sylvia Plath poem.
“Are you a lightweight?”
You looked at Soonyojng not even halfway through his drink, feeling the ease and warmth of his body next
to you.
“How can you tell?”
“You relaxed for the first time tonight.”
“I was nervous to hangout with you. I’m sorry. You’re just cool and pretty and I don’t know I feel like you’re way smarter than me and I’m intimidated by that sober”
“I’m sure that’s not true. But if it’s any help I was nervous too.”
“Really? So I have game?”
“No. But you’re so cute I’d die if I hurt your feelings.”
“So you’re a lightweight too?”
“What? No way. Just honest to a fault.”
Soonyoung smiled into the rim of his glass before taking his final sip and prompting you to finish your drink quickly, which you happily obliged.
“Okay, on the way there.. I have to admit something. The party we’re going to is for the girl I liked before she got with this guy… it’s like unrequited love in a way.”
“The girl you said you don’t love anymore?”
“Yeah. I’m sorry I dragged you into this. I just wanted to see you again so I thought it was a good idea.”
“I’m down. I’m not sure what, but I’m down.”
“Cool.”
“Want me to pretend to be your girlfriend? Or? I feel like it would be weird to say we were on a first date.”
“Is this a date?”
“Is it not?”
“It was meant to be and it definitely is now.”
“So pretend girlfriend, Soony?”
“Maybe not an official girlfriend, how about… fourth date?”
“Okay, have we had sex?”
Soonyoung choked on his own spit which caused the two of you to end up in a fit of laughter on the street as you reached your next destination.
“Obviously.”
“That’s fair. I’ll tell everyone you were good.”
“I think I love you.”
“Shut up.”
After spending the night waltzing around and parading your further long relationship with your fake new boyfriend to his friends in hopes to prove his fondness for his newest engaged friend has gone away even slightly.
While maybe you were pretending to be on a date with Soonyoung, your head was spinning. If this was a fake date it was better than any date you had previously. Stepping outside to take a break from the party inside you pulled out your phone, jotting down notes and small nuggets of information you learned about Soonyoung’s past wedding experiences.
“Taking notes on me? What are you a PI?”
Behind you, you hadn’t realized the door you snuck out of opened and the boy had followed behind, curious if you were okay.
“Yeah, you’re under investigation for being overly nice. Sorry.”
“What do they say? I didn’t read them, just saw my name.”
“Just some antidotes I want to remember. Nothing crazy.”
“Do you want to leave? I’m starting to reach my alcohol limit and I would rather die than have you see my drunk alter ego the first time we hung out.”
“Yeah, come on, let's go.”
Going back through the back exit, you tripped behind Soonyoung’s tall frame grabbing onto his shoulder and giggling before he stood in the way of you hitting the ground.
His lips were curled into a goofy smile.
“I swear to god if you say something about me falling for you, you will get punched.”
“How did you know?”
“That fucking goofy smile you have on your face right now, I could just see it brewing in that head of yours.”
“Okay, I don’t like that you’ve already figured me out. Let’s go, klutz.”
Before you and Soonyoung could exit back into the fresh air, a familiar face appeared in front of you. Your ex boyfriend. Something about this night clicked for you, it was his party, there were so many people around and the only person from the wedding party you met was the bride. But taking a breath in and looking around the room, you realized how stupid you were to not see all the signs that this party was for him.
“Y/n? Hoshi? Hey, how have you guys been?”
Soonyoung still holding his arm around your shoulder gave a small back and fourth look between you and the tall boy who knew your name.
“You guys know each other?”
“Yep. Hi, Jihoon.”
“I didn’t know you knew Hoshi either?”
“Oh well we just started dating, he invited me to come hangout.”
“Dating? Wow. I didn’t know you had time for people outside of work anymore.”
“Jihoon, if you don’t mind we have to go now. Thank you for the open bar and this amazing time chatting, congratulations on marrying your hookup. Goodnight.”
The start of your walk with Soonyoung was pure silence, there was an obvious elephant in the room and you could tell he was just itching to talk about it, so you decided to prompt him.
“You’re curious aren’t you.”
“Yes. But I don’t want to ask you to talk about it because we’re having fun. So I figured I’d try to ignore it.”
“It’s fine. I’m curious too actually, it’s kind of funny that the girl you liked was hooking up with my boyfriend and now they’re married. And by funny I mean actually funny and we just spent the whole night not knowing that.”
“I didn’t even know that Jihoon had a girlfriend when they first met, he never said anything about it.”
“I don’t blame him actually, I do work way too much. I just wished he’d broken up with me instead of cheating on me for a month.”
“When did you guys break up?”
“Last December.”
“Oh.”
“It was more than a month wasn’t it?”
“I think so.”
“Cool, cool, cool.”
“That’s fucked up y/n, I’m so sorry.”
“That’s okay, we weren’t supposed to be together and his new girlfriend or future wife whatever seems like she’s really nice.”
“She is, but she’s too nice. She does everything he wants, maybe he couldn’t handle your independence.”
“Soony. You caught on that I’m a bad bitch?”
“Have you met yourself?”
“No. But, if I did I’d be obsessed with her and hate her at the same time.”
“That’s exactly how I feel.”
You punched his side, before stopping and realizing you had come up to your front door. Not even worried about the way your feet were aching to get out of your heeled shoes.
“This is me.”
“I know. I’ve been here like three times now in less than twenty-four hours. I’m starting to believe you actually think I’m stupid.”
“Not stupid. Just silly. I’ll see you again right?”
“I mean I did put days on your calendar to schedule out time for me.”
“You littl-“
Suddenly you were cut off by Soonyoung’s hand covering your mouth to put a stop to you cursing him out.
“I won’t take no for an answer.”
Sinking your teeth into his hand he retreated from his momentary confidence quickly, looking at the proud smile you were sporting, pointing your well manicured finger in his face.
“Don’t tell women to shut up, Soony.”
“I never said shut up, you were going to call me a mean name and I’m sensitive. Go back to calling me cute.”
“Maybe. Next time.”
You went in for a one armed hug when all of the sudden Soonyoung came in with both arms, clinking your heads together.
“Very smooth.”
He liked the fact that you constantly teased him while making light of situations, regaining his confidence he pulled you into his embrace enveloping both arms around your shoulders, placing a small kiss on the part of your forehead that crashed into his.
“I’ll see you next week.”
“What’s next week?”
“The wedding, check your planner. Well actually I’ll see you in two nights because we have to shop or go through your closet so we can match! Bye, y/nie.”
Caught off guard by the kiss on your head and watching him hail a cab like it was nothing, you couldn’t help but smile on your way into your building, met by Max at the front desk beaming as wide as you and giving you a wink.  Knowing that he saw the cute and awkward interaction you shared with the hyper hamster outside.
The two days in between you and Soonyoung’s first official interaction, you felt yourself looking forward to seeing him again and being in his presence like your own personal serotonin boost.
The insane fact that your ex was marrying the girl he cheated on was enough, but the girl being Soonyoung’s painful crush? Especially when you felt he was becoming yours was beyond insane.
You made up separate drafts of your article about the people who make weddings shine, from the families, the bridal parties. the insane bachelor and bachelorette nights, and mainly Soonyoung’s love for love.
The two works of nonfiction were from different perspectives, one being your head and one being your heart. You couldn’t decide if it was appropriate to present a piece basically claiming how amazing you found Soonyoung for the whole world to see when you’re not even sure if he’d ever consider you to be more than a silly writer girl y/n, his friend or fake girlfriend. Your other was from the space of practicality, a genuine love letter to your career and the person who inspired this story, but also digging deep into the ideals of how frantic and selfish the wedding industry can be and what it means for an unmarried friend to take in burdens constantly for their loved ones when it takes a toll on their own heart.
The biggest debate in your body was the fact the real article, the one you wanted to write, was at the fault of someone who had only in the short space of two days made you feel again, but it was honest and genuine.
You knew Soonyoung had to have some pain working and being a part of a wedding for the girl he saw himself marrying.
Luckily you have another few days to decide which way it’ll go.
Sitting on the thought of what one you should put out, you were awoken out of your thought bubble to a string of buzzes from your cell phone sitting face down on your desk.
None other than the boy that had been living in your head for the past 48 hours.
Soonyoung’s texts were multiple lines of photos and silly messages asking you which outfit he should wear that could match any of the dresses you had hanging in your closet for the wedding.
One of the options was a beige suit, simple in theory but something about the way he styled it with a funky sage green t-shirt and matching sneakers made you smile. Even if you didn’t have anything to match this outfit you would make an effort to go out and spruce up your wardrobe to be on his level.
After quickly responding that it was your choice, he retorted back in his true fashion you’d have to send him your options too or he’d come over to help you.
In a desperate subconscious way you agreed to his antics.
Now nearly an hour later a call came from the front desk that a visitor had arrived asking for consent he could come upstairs which you happily agreed assuming it was none other than Soonyoung himself. The person on the opposite side of the door was not the sharp eyed boy you’d expected, but Jihoon.
“Why are you here?”
“I wanted to see you after the other night, I just wanted to say hey.”
“Okay? Then text me. Don’t come over unannounced, I have a friend I’m expecting.”
“You wouldn’t have responded.”
“That’s true.”
Standing with your arms crossed in your doorway not letting Jihoon into the now redecorated apartment you once had let him live in, you weren’t budging on your gut feeling to let him in and talk.
“Can I come in?”
“Like I said. I’m expecting a friend. So.. no.”
“Who? Hoshi? You guys aren’t seriously together? He’s not your type, too goofy.”
“Isn’t he your friend?”
“He’s Nana’s friend, but he’s okay. I’m just saying it's not your style.”
Nana? A stupid nickname for his fiance who’s name was simply Anna. So as you rolled your eyes and shut your apartment door behind you as you stepped into the hallway as a clear defining factor he was not welcome you stood far apart from him as a line in the sand.
“He’s not goofy. He’s sweet and yes he’s on his way so maybe you should leave before saying anything else so he doesn’t get the wrong idea.”
Jihoon wavered a bit, looking towards the elevator door at the end of the hall as if like a movie Soonyoung would walk out of the elevator at the mention he was on his way over.
“Maybe take the stairs. I’ll see you at your wedding with my date.”
Rushing in and slamming the door in his face, you sink to the floor in a moment of pure exhaustion over interacting with someone like your ex.
Why wasn’t Soonyoung right for you? Why did you not want that to be true? And why were you so dead set on proving him absolutely wrong?
In your rush of emotions another knock came to your door. Without looking through the peephole you swung it open rapidly.
“Look I told you to g- oh, Soonyoung! Thank god.”
Your body made a move before your head could even catch up as you ended up hugging him tightly, rushing him inside as if Jihoon didn’t get the message and was watching in from a hidden spot in the corridor.
“Y/N are you okay?”
“Yes. Sorry, someone just came over that I did not want to see. Welcome.”
You watched as his eyes took in the view of your pink and green splattered apartment, things like funky vases full of wildflowers, plant tendrils floating down from shelves tucked between books of various sizes and ages, a small nook with sleeping white and black cat hid inside snuggling into his stuffed toy.
“I love it here.”
“Really? I redecorated recently, it was cold before. I love it now.”
“Also it smells amazing, do you bake? It smells like cookies and coffee. Wow.”
“I do not bake, but I do have candles that give the illusion. What’s in the bag?”
Soonyoung set a small black duffle bag down on the counter and began pulling the contents out one by one, showing them off like a beauty guru.
Wine, five small bags of potato chips, beer Incase you didn’t like wine and he was unsure, a slice of delicious looking chocolate cake, and a container marked with your name of his moms homemade soup.
“Why did you do this?”
“I thought we would have fun while picking out matching outfits. Will you let me see your closet? Please, please, please. I’m so curious.”
“It’s not that impressive at all.”
“If your apartment looks like this then I have only the highest expectations for you.”
Smiling, you jokingly made a come on motion with your fingers and led him into your spare bedroom that now existed as a half home office and half closet.
His eyes took in even more of your fun design work, the racks of records, pictures of you and your friends, and one of the things that made him feel like he could fall in love with you, your rack full of limited edition shoes and bags.
“Not impressive? You have some of the coolest shit I’ve ever seen in here?”
“I’m just a girl with a cat and a lot of time on my hands. Since being single I’ve just spent it on shopping and ordering take out.”
“If you don’t mind me asking what were you and Jihoon like together? You guys seem really opposite to me.”
There it was again, someone not right for you. Was it just in your head that you think maybe you’re the problem of why this comment is being made?
“Uh, we were okay at first. We met in college about three weeks before graduation and spent so much time together. But if I think about it, we just hung out in his dorm where I watched him play video games and watch anime even though I was not interested. I kind of wish I was more outspoken about it. I missed a bunch of things my friends had done wasting away on his futon drinking shitty cheap alcohol and waiting on him hand and foot and whatever else.”
“Really? So you guys dated for a long time I guess. Did it change a lot once you got out?”
“Not really. A lot of people knew we were ‘dating’ but in the time that we did, we probably went on one or two actual dates.”
“That makes me sad actually.”
“Why? I made the choice to do all those things. At least I don’t have an ugly poster of John Lennon on my wall just to show I loved him.”
Soonyoung was set off by that, laughing and imagining you having a photo of a musician on your wall to impress your boyfriend.
“What’s so funny? Haven’t you done anything embarrassing to impress a girl?”
“Definitely. Too many to choose from actually.”
“At least you're charming, I came off as obsessive and stupidly in love. Not a good look for me.”
“Caring too much is never a bad thing when you think you’re in love and you’re charming too.”
“Why thank you good sir.”
“And you’re weird. Which personally is a green flag for me. I didn’t expect that from you actually.”
“Is that a compliment though, really?”
“For me? Yes. I don’t like normal people well, not normal people I guess, just people who have no personality or something I can learn from. I want someone as a friend or whatever else to challenge me a little, it’s healthy.”
“I think that’s really cool of you, I agree. I like people that are willing to try new stuff or get me out of my comfort zone.”
“Was showing me your office a way of me getting you out of your comfort zone?”
“Sort of. This is kind of like my safe haven.”
Soonyoung just gave you a wide toothed smile, beaming from ear to eat that you admitted he was even just slightly somewhat of your type.
As the night went on and on the boy that has now broken down a couple of your walls, not quickly but brick by brick was sitting comfortably next to your cat curled up in the same manor helping you pick out something that would go with his two outfits, one for the wedding itself and one for the rehearsal dinner which he promised you that you’d only eat and leave to have more fun just out of respect for the couple and his friend Anna.
Now each of you taking the bottle of wine he brought slowly, sitting on your floor surrounded by shoes and loose pairs of pants, giggling over nothing he stared in your eyes almost like you could read that he had another interrogating question.
“Was Jihoon the one at the door before?”
“How did you kno–”
“I can’t remember you mentioning anybody that would come over unannounced and make you look as upset as you did.”
“Yeah.”
“Do you know why he was here?”
“He just gave me some stupid antidote that he wanted to see me after the other day, I didn’t ask further. When I told him I had a friend coming over he just knew it was you for some reason and then told me we couldn’t be dating seriously because you’re not my type? As if he’d know? It was weird all around.”
“Do you still have feelings for him?”
“No. I realized once we broke up and now after knowing he was cheating on me more than a few nights that it was an amazing decision. When we first ended it I just kicked him out and ghosted all his texts, he used to update me on his life every now and again, the last time we talked for real, before today he called me crying that his Grandmother was sick, so we just had a brief talk and it ended for real there. I genuinely never thought I’d see him again.”
“Also, am I your type?”
Ss wine dribbled down your chin you were once again surprised by Soonyoung’s random fit of confidence.
“Yeah. You’re nice and I love how annoying you are. I think you get under my skin in the best way.”
“Wow. I’m surprised you admitted it.”
“What can I say, wine drunk y/n is honest.”
“And what about my physical type? Sexy, cool, handsome, the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen?”
Taking a note from his book you swung your closest arm to him, you clipped your fingers over his mouth and shut him up.
Much to your surprise he took a note from your book and instead of biting your hand he stuck his tongue through his lips and licked your fingers which caused you to lunge towards him further, jokingly pissed he did just so.
As you were fighting for comedic relief you sat suddenly face to face with him holding onto your wrists to resist more thrash fighting.
The two of you stared at each other filling the room with intense tension of your lips being so close once again.
“If I knew you wouldn’t be mad at me I’d kiss you right now.”
“Soonyoung, you’re so stupid. Why would I be mad at you?”
“So I can kiss you?”
“Nope.”
Soonyoung pushed his bottom lip out from his top, replacing his cute puppy face with a pouty one.
You decided to quickly dive in and pace a peck on his protruding bottom lip.
He immediately let you go and erupted into a fit of giggles like a little kid, as you tried to sneak away quickly he grabbed onto the arm of your sweatshirt which you quickly unzipped and slipped out of, running through the door of your office and into the rest of the house as he chased behind.
“You have to know I’m going to catch you for that, that was so mean y/n.”
As you were winning the fight, getting away from the boy chasing you around, you suddenly tripped up and felt his hand grasp your shoulder, turning you around with secret strength.
Standing face to face with him now, your stubbed toe throbbing through your fuzzy socks, you both were holding in a whole lot of laughter.
Soonyoung’s hand slipped behind your head and pulled you in for a much more romantic type of kiss than you gave him before. The two of you touched lips softly, as your smiles were still prominent on your faces.
Before anything could escalate further your phone began to ring again and your boss's name was plastered over the front, which you answered with panting breaths still in a haze from kissing the boy you made you feel young again.
“y/n? Hi, would you be able to send over a draft of your article you begged me for? We were looking for something to print for tomorrow if you’re interested? I’ll have someone expedite the editing process tonight.”
“Oh, shit. Yeah of course, I’ll rush and email it to you now.”
“Thank you, congratulations y/n.”
“Thank you. Bye.”
Oh my god, Soony, stay here. I have to email my boss quickly about my article, she wants to print it for tomorrow's paper. I’ll be right back.”
“What? Congratulations. But don't worry, I’m not leaving.”
“Good, sorry, be right back.”
Rushing back into your office you flipped open your computer and sent your final article draft, choosing the one that your gut felt would be better for your personal life at the moment, especially after the kiss you just shared with the boy it was about.
Typing a quick message along with your attachment you just said a big thank you and clicked send before grabbing the half drank bottle off the floor and ran back to Soonyoung munching on a bag of chips waiting for you.
“Shall we celebrate?”
“What are we celebrating?”
“Me, idiot. I’ve been trying to get a real article published ever since I got the job doing weddings. I love weddings, but always being so happy and cheerful and not getting a chance to stretch my creative juices is frustrating.”
“Can we also celebrate kissing? That seems more fun.”
“Shut up, asshole.”
Taking a swig from the bottle, you passed it over to your male counterpart and watching him take an equally large drink matching your energy.
You and Soonyoung spent the rest of the night talking about how tomorrow will go, where will you and he be sitting, will Jihoon be giving you side eyes or talking shit with some of the other guests. How nice of a chance it’ll be to experience a wedding simply just enjoying with someone on your side and not for work.
After sitting in bed and still thinking about your kiss with Soonyoung many hours later, you saw a text from your boss letting you know she loved the article and to watch out for it in the morning.
When that finally rolled around, you woke up to a lot of messages congratulating you and your new found success, many people from college, your parents, but the one person you were looking for was nowhere to be found in those texts.
Putting the praise aside for a moment, you slipped back out of your bed to jump into the shower and start getting ready for your dinner celebrating the devil that was your ex.
When you stepped out and went to grab onto your device once again you saw a text from the one person you were most excited to read, but it was less than exciting. Soonyoung expressed how upset the article made him and accused you of using him to further your career, something Jihoon supposedly warned him of the night of his pre-wedding party and he chose to ignore.
Confused why he would be so upset about your praise for him, you ran to your front door and ripped open the pages of the paper only to find the article that you sent was a mistake, it was the one shitting on weddings, basically claiming Soonyoung himself was an unmarried loser, not in those words but you could see why it came across that way. Some of the simple moments of praise for his hard work were cut out in the editing room, only leaving the small bits of gossip and harsh criticisms sprinkled in between.
Rushing back inside as your stomach sank to the floor you tried his number three times before getting no answer. Which made you frantically dial your boss’s number and interrogate her on why parts of your article were cut out, she simply answered that fluff doesn’t sell and she was proud of you.
Soonyoung not responding had let you in on the fact that he wasn’t going to be seeing you today or maybe even seeing anybody for that matter, he was embarrassed and rightfully so.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
Continuing your quest on trying to reach him, you decided to still get ready for your night out, maybe not in the intense matching outfit way you wanted to last night, but just something where you could sneak into Jihoon’s wedding party and slide Soonyoung the real article you wanted him to read.
Running down the street to the venue with no accurate directions in sight, you saw your ex standing on a corner, smoking a brown wrapped joint in his suit.
“Jihoon. Jihoon.”
“What? Back to grovel for a favor?”
“Yes, please, just give this to Soonyoung for me. Please, I’ve never asked you for a favor like this, just once do something for me.”
“You’re really serious about him?”
“I am.”
“So you didn’t mean to slam him in the article like you did?”
“No. My boss cut out the good parts of the article, this was the one I meant to send. Just for me. I want you to be happy, Jihoon, I do. I want it for myself too, just please give it to him. Make sure he reads it.”
“Okay.”
“I know we haven’t had the best past and I know I'm coming here askin- Wait? Okay? Really?”
“Yeah. I can tell this means a lot to you and the reason I came over today was just to formally invite you to the wedding. You’re a big part of my life and now Soonyoung’s, well maybe, besides the point. My fiance is one of his best friends, she liked you too, that was the only reason.”
“Oh. Well I don’t think I’ll make it.”
“How about you come on official business and give this to him yourself?”
“No. I couldn’t do that. It’s your day not mine.”
“We both deserve a big love, y/n.”
Taking back your enveloped letter, you couldn’t help but be impressed by how mature Anna had made Jihoon become and you knew he was right. Sometimes love just falls in your lap and you can’t do anything about it.
Ashing out his joint, he handed you the other half as an olive branch to celebrate old times and bid you goodbye until tomorrow.
Before going back inside, he turned to you with one final wish.
“You better look damn good tomorrow too, no suits. Wear something nice to confess your feelings, otherwise you’ll look like a dumbass.”
“Got it.”
Catching your breath and shoving the letter and paraphernalia back into your purse, you decided to take Jihoon’s advice. To look amazing, you stumbled upon a shop called ‘All's Well that Ends Well.’ situation just a block down from the poetry inspired bar Soonyoung took you to just a few days before.
Stepping inside the store, the first thing you saw was a navy blue dress, the halter neckline and the silk straight flowing down to the floor, you knew it was meant for you. Especially because it would match the light pink suit Soonyoung was meant to be sporting with you by his side. The easiest shopping experience of your life.
As the sales associate packed your order up and sealed it with a light pink bow, you knew it was a sign or something of the sort.
With less than twenty-four hours of doing the most insane thing of your life, confessing to a man who essentially hated you after you had been kissing just hours before, you stayed up all night, using the weed that Jihoon gave you to stay focused on the task at hand, you almost considered cutting of your hair to enter a new era of your life, but only girls who were going through something would consider that and you attempted to tell yourself you were calm.
When the morning sun rang around you finished writing a letter to match the one already placed in the envelope to accompany your sorry. You even decorated the outside with stickers of tigers and spongebob characters just to make Soonyoung smile.
Sliding into your navy blue dress and silver heels, your hair was down and curled into perfect waves. You kissed your cat on the head and made your way over to the venue by foot, just to give yourself a little fresh air and piece of mind, hoping to slip in early enough so that you’d be seated before he even knew you came.
Slipping into a space near the back of the room on Jihoon’s side, you opened your phone to an encouraging text from him telling you that you’ve got this and he’s excited to hear more about it later, plus reminding you to have fun and enjoy yourself.
As the progression started you watched along with the other wedding goers, catching glimpses of Jihoon’s smiling family, which made your heart feel warm.
As the wedding part waltz down the aisle in their pastel pink suits and rosy toned dresses, you saw a now blonde again head appear on the arm of a girl who looked a lot like Anna, so it was fair to assume it was her sister.
Soonyoung didn’t glance your way, but something about the change in his demeanor made you aware he knew you had come.
“Everyone please rise for the bride.”
Anna walked out with her father on her arm, floating across the room like an angel in white. Her dress was adorned with small beaded flowers from the tips of her fingers down to the vail over her blonde hair.
She was truly beautiful, you couldn’t help but feel like a peasant in the room with this woman who both of the men you had either once had feelings for or now did once loved.
The whole ceremony was beautiful, but you missed a lot of it as you stared Soonyoung’s way trying to catch his eyes, but he never met yours. He was too busy enjoying the fact that his friends were getting married and the fact you had upset him.
When the ceremony ended you followed the other guests to the front of the church, holding your envelope in your hand and greeting the bride and groom, Anna and Jihoon beamed at you before she pointed her finger to a room off the side of the front door, some sort of administration office where Soonyoung would be waiting for you. Which also told you Jihoon had filled her in on your little plan.
You cracked open the old wooden door, trying to be subtle but the rotting wood creaked under the old floor boards making your entrance more known than you would’ve liked.
Soonyoung was seated in a red leather chair to the side of the desk, his now blonde hair meeting your eyes before his face. Not giving in to turn around and look at you.
“Soonyoung? I know you probably don’t want to speak to me. But, this was the real article. It was never meant to be that way. I’m sorry.”
You placed the letter in front of him on the desk and moved to turn back to the door before you heard his voice.
“So you didn’t mean all those mean things you wrote about me? That I was a desperate groomsman waiting for his shot to have a day for himself?”
“No.”
“You didn’t mean to say that my ostentatious nature was cringe worthy?”
“Not in that way no, my boss cut out all the good things I said about you. She put it in her own words for dramatic effect. I quit this morning.”
“You quit? Why?”
“I wanted to try to make this right in the best way I could, she wouldn’t reprint the article how I wrote it and told me that if I didn’t like her style I should get a job somewhere else. So I quit.”
Soonyoung just nodded, he couldn’t imagine why you would give up a golden opportunity just to prove your boss wrong or right for that matter all because of him. The only way he could make sense of what you were saying is that you were truly sorry and you cared about him.
He made a bold move and threw the letter in the trash can to the side of the old oak desk and got out of his chair to hug you.
“You’re not going to read it.”
Speaking into his shoulder, you got a calming exhale of his cologne.
“I don’t need to. I know you're telling me the truth, you said it yourself you don’t lie when you drink wine, and I can smell it on your breath.”
Slipping your hands up from their place around his neck into his hair you giggled slightly, looking at the now dyed blonde locks of hair.
“You dyed it back?”
“You said you liked it. I thought you’d be my date and I had the appointment so I didn’t want to cancel.”
“You weren’t hoping I’d show up here?”
“I knew you would. I saw you talking to Jihoon outside last night through the window. I wasn’t sure exactly because you did walk away and he never told me what happened. But, when I saw you today sitting in the crowd. I knew my inkling was right.”
“Did the cohesive outfit impress you? I missed one night, but I hope I made up for it today.”
Soonyoung pushed you away slightly by your shoulders and made you do a spin for him.
“You look beautiful.”
“You’re such a dork.”
Soonyoung playfully swung you around in the office covered in photos of church go-ers and crosses, bringing you into his chest tightly.
“So, what did you write in that article? That I was devilishly handsome and cool?”
“Nope. Just that you were a bad kisser.”
“Seems like you need a reminder.”
“Maybe.”
As your lips met Soonyoungs once again your heart sank into your stomach and was beating rapidly. You just fit and he never once doubted your heart.
“What do you say? Should we go outside and dance?”
“Can you even dance?”
“Y/n? Can I even dance? What do you even think I do for a living?”
“Oh. I’m such an idiot. Anna works at a talent agency. Got it.”
“Come on, silly. Before our audience outside gets bigger.”
When you exited the office back into the group of people outside, for some reason Jihoon started a cheer alongside his new wife.
Soon you and Soonyoung were dancing the night away and drinking a little too much than your stomachs could handle.
When you finally got a moment of dizzy drunkenness alone, he had you sitting on a bench where he knelt to the ground. Your mouth got the better of you once again.
“Oh my god you're not proposing already are you I mean I know I’m amaz-”
“Y/n shut up, I’m tying my shoe.”
“Cool, cool. Got it.”
“But the next wedding I attend hopefully I’ll be the groom.”
With a wink Soonyoung sat back at your side as you watched the stars together, making a mental note that the next wedding would belong to the both of you.

so yeah i finished NGE
What a show! Can honestly say that I liked it more than I was expecting to. Usually it takes me a couple months to fully decide how I feel about something though.
Let's start with the ending. I had to google some things to tie up loose ends, but once I did I was pretty impressed by how well everything tied together. There were a lot of hidden details that I had missed during the first watch, and the supplementary material cleared a lot of things up for me.
I don't really see how the show's ending and the movie can be reconciled with one another, but it seems like a lot of people regard them as two separate possible endings.
I think the show's ending was unacceptable as a stand-alone, but after watching the movie I appreciate it as a more upbeat end to Shinji's journey. The movie is a lot more complete, but it's also a huge bummer - everyone loses! Instrumentality fails so Seele loses, Gendoh dies and doesn't reunite with his wife, so he loses, the angels all get defeated, and the Third Impact does happen and devastates the planet, so humanity loses. Maybe if Shinji knew how badly the world had been devastated he would've decided instrumentality was the lesser evil.
Or maybe that's too realism-brained and I'm supposed to be thinking about it more metaphorically. Meh.
In retrospect, I find myself unimpressed with Gendoh. He seems to have managed to fail upward by harnessing/exploiting more talented people than himself, all to fail at achieving a selfish and uninspiring final end.
Misato... well. I think I misjudged her initially due to a mixture of internet rep and those early jokes about Shinji being her boyfriend - I don't really think she had any grooming intentions toward Shinji. I think she found herself in the rare "what if a white person had to say the n word to defuse an atomic bomb" scenario. She was dying, she was out of options and faced with the extinction of humanity, and she took what she thought was her best shot. It wasn't pretty, but neither was the Third Impact, and if Shinji had gotten out there before Asuka was beaten, maybe it could've been avoided.
Various parts of the show felt rushed to me. Ritsuko's relationship with Gendoh (how does this man pull this hard? inexplicable), Suzuharu not dying but then essentially being treated as dead the rest of the show, various aspects of Rei's arc, Kaworu only being there for a little over an episode - there's so much to this show, and I think it would've been better if they had more episodes to tease some of the knots out.
I'll talk about Rei, Asuka, and their respective relationships with Shinji on a different post.

Part 3 Part 5
Tumblr media
Scrambling around in the kitchen as you tried to prepare a nice meal for you and Chris. Extremely nervous to have him over, and to think this was somewhat of a date.
Making sure your makeup and hair looked good enough for him. Wanting nothing more to impress this man, and make him fall head over heels for you. Although that seemed like a dream you still couldn't help but hope for a romance to blossom.
Stirring the chicken around in the sauce before placing them on a big plate. Shuffling the rice as you sprinkled some spices on top of it. The aroma of the different scents hitting your nose making your mouth water.
Just then a knock came from the front door making you jump. Straightening your outfit out which was extremely casual and comfy since the two of you weren't actually going anywhere.
Opening the door to see Chris's smiling face as he wore a white knit sweater, and dark blue jeans. His hair perfectly slicked back making you want to run your fingers through it. It was crazy how hot this man could be easily make you.
"Welcome." You greeted as you opened the door wider indicating for him to walk inside. "Perfect timing the food is ready."
"Smells amazing." He complimented as he sniffed around the kitchen. "Turn on for me when a woman can cook."
"Thanks to all those cooking shows I watched." Scooping up the rice and putting it on each of your plates.
Once you had the plates smothered with food you placed them on either side of the table. Chris took his spot licking his lips as he looked at all the food in front of him.
"Would you like something to drink?" Asking he you opened up the cabinet to your liquor bottles.
"I'll take some red wine if you have it." Grabbing a bottle you filled a glass for him and yourself. "Thanks."
As the two of you sat in peace eating your meal you started to feel a sense of calm. Nothing felt awkward or uncomfortable. Things felt right between the two of you like this is how it was meant to be.
Making small talk in between mouthfuls of food. Cracking up a couple of jokes making you laugh trying not to spray wine across the table. It was obvious he felt comfortable being around you.
A part of you was hoping after tonight this would become a daily thing. That he would want to start seeing you outside of work more. Or that the two of you would quit the adult film industry, and pursue another way to make money.
"The food was absolutely delicious." He spoke after he placed his knife and fork on the plate. "I'll have to come over more often."
"I would absolutely love that." Sounding a little more excited than you intended. "I mean sounds wonderful."
"Are you okay?" He asked out of blue knowing he was referring to earlier. "I mean after your session with Johnny."
"Yeah I'm okay." Nodding your head as you looked down at your hands in your lap. "I'm not used to stuff like that, but I'm really okay."
"Good because you and I are going to really start drinking." He clapped his hands together as he walked over to your liquor cabinet.
Grabbing a bottle of tequila as he walked over to you with a mischievous grin. Sheepishly smiling back at him as your mind was starting to race. Surely this night was going to end in something happening between you two.
"Cheers." Clinking your shot glasses together before he downed the liquid. He made it look so easy.
Quickly downing yours feeling the burn running down your throat. Scrunching you're face up making him chuckle at you. You were never one to handle your liquor that well.
He was quick to pouring another one and this time you took it at the same time he did. His eyes were glued to yours the whole time making you feel a little flustered. Your cheeks felt enflamed right now from his intense stares.
"Let's play a game." He spoke after you both downed your fourth shot you glanced over to him. Shrugging his shoulders at the suggestion. "Could be a way for us to get to know each other."
"Why the fuck not." You don't if that was more of a question or statement. "What game did you have in mind?"
"How about twenty questions?" He suggested and you thought to yourself that was a simple and harmless game.
"Yeah sure." He beamed when you approved of the game. "How do you play again?"
"I'll ask you a question and then you ask me a question." That seemed simple enough. "But if you refuse to answer a question you have to take a shot."
You knew this wasn't going to be a simple game. It seemed like he had a hidden agenda behind everything. Maybe he really did just want to get to know you or see what kind of person you were. Knowing him so far things were going to become dirty.
Hearing the rules you downed your fifth shot of the night. The buzz was already taking in affect, and he could tell. He just laughed at how much of a risk taker you were trying to be right now. All you wanted was fun tonight, and he was going to give that to you.
"I'll go first." He stated and you just nodded sitting back nervous as hell. "What's your favorite color?"
"Uh it's Y/F/C." His question threw you off you expected him to go with something dirty. "What's your favorite animal?"
"Wolf." That answer didn't surprise you what so ever." What's your favorite movie?"
"Y/F/M." These questions were easier than you expected them to be." What's your favorite movie?"
"Lady and the tramp." You looked at him like he had grown two heads and started to laugh. You never expected that to be his answer.
"Really?" It really did come as a surprise that such a heart felt movie could possibly be his favorite.
"Shut up I like Disney movies." This time he started to laugh with you. He playfully pushed your shoulder making you laugh even harder.
"Wow how manly of you." Puffing out your chest and striking arm poses like a body builder. He just shook his head at you to which you stopped laughing. "I promise I won't say anything scouts honor."
"Alright you little shit let's keep playing." He downed a quick shot. "What's your favorite hobby?"
"I like to read." Feeling embarrassed by your answer but he seemed to like it since he smiled. "If you could live anywhere where would it be?"
"I would have to say Paris. The most beautiful city in the world." That sounded absolutely romantic and you weren't expecting that. "Do you masturbate?"
If your cheeks weren't on fire before they were now. He just sat there with a smug grin on his face. He had you right where he wanted you. This is was the game he actually wanted to play with you. Otherwise how could these questions go from innocent to dirty.
You really shouldn't be shy when he asked this question. The two of you fucked people for a living in front of multiple people. If anything you would have no hesitation to answer these type of questions.
He was staring at you so intensely right now you just wanted to crawl into a hole and hide. You were kind of drunk right now, and somewhat turned on by his question.
"Yeah I do." You answered honestly thanks to the five shots that were now hitting you. "Do you use handcuffs?"
"Yes I do." He winked at you making you take another shot. The room was getting hotter all of a sudden. "Do you like to be spanked?"
"No." He looked shocked at your response making you look down at your now clammy hands. "I mean yeah I do."
"I could always spank you." He remarked making your eyes go wide making him laugh. "Don't worry I won't do that to you."
Not understanding why suddenly you were cowering in a shell around him. It was something about him that had you feeling shy and innocent. You wanted to impress and attract him so he would want you back.
"I mean unless you really want me to?" He started to lift his hips up like he was about to approach you making you gulp.
"No I'm good." You answered rather quickly making him smirk at how he got to you.
It seemed like the room was getting smaller and smaller. The longer you looked at him the more you started to realize just how beautiful this man really was. He had such soft looking skin with a little bit of scruff across his chin.
His eyes were like a light blue with a hint of green. It reminded you very much of the ocean. Eye lashes so thick he could blow you away with them. Small freckles sprinkled across his face giving him more of an innocent and sweet appearance.
Chris coughed breaking you from your trance of staring at him like a weirdo. Looking away from him wanting to avoid the judgement he probably had across his face of you basically checking him out.
"Okay my turn what's your favorite position?" You wanted to cover your face but frayed from doing that.
"When a girl is riding me cow girl." That had your heart beating faster, and you clenching your thighs together. All you could picture was doing that with him.
"Are you picturing doing that with me right now?" A huge smirk across his face as he was looking into your eyes.
"Yes." Slapping a hand over your mouth with how quickly you answered that. You just wanted to get the attention off of you as soon as possible. "Do you watch porn?"
Instead of answering the question Chris reached across grabbing you pulling you onto his lap making you squeal. Your hands landed on his shoulders to keep yourself balanced. Legs on either side of his, and your chest practically in his face.
Both of you staring into each other's eyes, and there was clear sexual tension between you two. His hands on your hips that started to make your body move against his. Taking the hint that he wanted you to start grinding against him.
"Don't get shy on me now Y/N." He shook his head at you teasingly with a smile. "Show me what a vixen you really are."
Slowly moving your hips against him feeling him harden beneath you. His eyes were glazed over and all you could see was hunger and lust. Your panties were starting to become wet with desire. The fabric of your panties rubbing against your clit making you moan.
"Yes baby moan for me." He groaned in your ear as his hands squeezed the skin on your hips. He was probably trying to control himself, and not completely take over scaring you.
Although you would have no problem with him taking over you completely. Your insides clenching at the thought of riding his cock right now. Feeling him slam his hips up into you hitting your pelvis.
This felt like such an intimate moment right now. Something that a couple would be doing to keep that spice in their relationship. It felt like you two were the only people in this world, and nothing was coming between you two.
"The things I wanna do to you." He growled he watched your hips moving against his lap. "To have you all night."
"Begging for my cock until your in tears." The thought of crying just for his cock had you whimpering.
Feeling the liquor completely take over your body you started to really grind against him. Pressing down harder on his crotch so it was his turn to moan this time. Leaning his head against your shoulder the faster you started to hump him.
"Oh god." You moaned when the pressure of your clothes and his jeans pressing against your clit made your lower stomach tingle.
"I want you to cum at the thought of my cock going inside your pussy." His words had your eyes rolling into the back of your head. "Just feel me baby."
His words encouraging you a lot more than you were expecting them to. Between his hands, his dirty words being whispered into your ear, and his extremely hard cock pressed against your crotch you were probably going to cum sooner than you thought.
Your hips moving in a way almost as if you were really fucking him. Both of your moans filling the room making it echo. Thank god you didn't have any roommates or else this would have been incredibly awkward.
"Bet your pussy is soaked for me." Feeling a shudder rack his body at the thought of feeling you in this moment. "Tight little pussy sucking me in."
His lips attaching themselves to your neck sucking on the flesh lightly. The blood rising to the surface of your skin. He was probably leaving his mark.
"Just like that sweetheart." Feeling his hands gripping your hips tightly surely leaving a bruise. "God I wanna fuck you so bad."
"I know you're getting closer sweetheart." He mumbled against your neck. Sweat forming on his forehead, and on the back of your neck.
"I want to feel your cock." You have no idea where this horny girl came from, but you surely were enjoying her.
You were never the type of woman to become this horny. It was different being horny for work, but to be this way in real life was a whole new person. Intimacy was not something you were used to. It was rough sex you were used to.
"I know baby next time right now you need to focus on you." Hearing that encouraged you to move faster.
You probably looked like a mad woman the way you were moving on top of him. Grinding your body against his like an animal in heat. Rushing to reach your release and using his body to get to it. Neither of you cared though since you were both feeling good at this moment.
It felt like you were living in a fantasy right now. Grinding heavily on top of a man that was way too attractive for you. Maybe it was the liquor and it was just making you two horny. Or maybe it was true feelings that were coming to light.
Either way all you could do was bask in the moment right now. Having been a long time since anyone has touched you like this. It felt nice to be touched like this, and it felt nice to be wanted and feel attractive.
At one point you were just straight up teasing him. You would slow your movements then by lifting your hips up and slamming down on his crotch making him growl. He gave you a couple spanks on your ass cheeks making you squeal.
"Watch it darling." Making you look into his eyes giving you a warning. "I will bend you over my lap and slap that ass till you feel it into next week."
By the look on his face you knew he wasn't joking, and you could tell he wanted you to try and do it again and test him. The thought of bending you over his lap got him all excited again.
He did seem like the type of guy who loved to punish his girl by spanking her, and than rubbing her cheeks soothingly with ointment. Everything about him scream physical touch and affection. Like he wanted rough sex, but then he would spoil you after.
Breathing heavily on the top of his head as you felt that familiar burn in the pit of your stomach. Your head falling back the closer to your orgasm you were getting. Chris was close to when you felt his cock twitch under neath his pants.
"Cum for me sweetheart." That was all it took for you pushing hard down on him your sensitive clit becoming over loaded. Your release hitting you hard and fast.
Both of you moaning and groaning at the fact you just came in your shorts from dry humping him. Leaving your head down so your face was pressed against his shoulder. His hands rubbing your back up and down soothingly, and you were still coming down from your orgasm.
You just sat on his lap feeling yourself becoming tired from what just took place. Still breathing heavily the amount of alcohol you consumed in a short amount of time was not helping either.
In this moment alcohol or not you really could stay in Chris's arms forever. It was just something about him that you couldn't wrap your mind around. You wanted to be around him all the time.
You just couldn't believe all that happened. Feeling your sensations heightened, and you just wanted more of him. Just praying and hoping that nobody ever found out ,and that it wouldn't come between your work and friendship.
"We should get you to bed." You just nodded your head already feeling your eyes closing.
Instead of lifting you off of him he somehow moved yours and his body so he was still holding you when he stood up. Carrying you to your bedroom bridal style. It was the most sweetest most romantic thing a man has ever done for you.
Placing you under the covers then pulling them up towards your neck making sure you were comfortable. He gave you a peck on the forehead making you shut your eyes with a smile.
"Stay." You whispered when he started to walk away.
Looking and sounding like a lost puppy dog. You probably looked pathetic to him, but you didn't want to be left alone right now. Plus all you wanted was for Chris to hold you in his arms all night.
"Alright lady but just for tonight." He referenced to the lady and tramp scene making you snicker.
Pulling his jeans down but leaving his boxers on so he could get comfortable. Then pulling the covers back so he could get into bed. Thinking that he was going to stay away, but surprising you when he pulled your body flush against his so you were spooning with him.
His strong arms wrapped around your body keeping you close and warm. Snuggling his face into your shoulder leaving light kisses against the skin. Your heart was practically swooning and how cute he was being with you right now.
"Good night beautiful." Was the last thing you heard before you felt the slumber or darkness consume your body.

Being a part of the newest Jackass movie meant getting hurt. You knew that. You had grown up with the show and all three movies, you were well aware of the shenanigans that the original Jackass crew got up to. But you were far from prepared for the aftermath of your biggest stunt in the movie.
You were one of two women who were cast for the new movie, which also meant you were one of the first ever women to be on the main cast. The guys tried to go easy on you and Rachel, but you made it clear from the beginning that you wanted to be a part of the stunts just as much as the guys were. This was your childhood dream, you wanted to be a part of it.
Not to mention you were trying to impress the fearless leader of the gang, Johnny Knoxville.
Yeah, Johnny was quite a number of years older than you, and yeah, maybe that should've deterred you from having feelings for him, but you couldn’t help it. You had always had a crush on Johnny even before being cast in Jackass Forever, but meeting him on set and getting to know him just made that crush grow stronger.
So, those two facts combined was how you came to find yourself looking down a water slide on a steep hill that ended on a hard, sandy land.
The stunt seemed simple enough when it was pitched to you: the guys were gonna build a make shift waterslide and have someone go down on a pool floaty onto the sandy. The pressure of the water would start slow, so that the impact would’ve be as bad, and eventually it would get higher and higher until whoever got on at the end would be shot down the hill at full speed onto the sand.
Jasper had gone first to “test it out”, then went the next two times as the water pressure was increased. Zach went down once in a floaty and then once with Wee Man on his back. Dave and Ehren raced down together at the second to highest speed, with both of them eventually colliding before even reaching the bottom.
When Johnny went to crank it up to the highest speed, you decided to volunteer to go down.
“Are you sure?” Zach asked. “It’s not a soft landing.”
“What did I tell you guys about treating me like I’m soft?” you asked. “I wanna do it. I’m sure it’s not as bad as some of the stunts I’ve done so far.”
“Oh, it definitely is,” Ehren said, an ice pack against his throbbing head.
“You collided with Dave, that’s different,” you teased. “Grab me a floaty, I’m going down.”
One of the guys passed you a floaty and you went over towards the slide. The water was rushing as such a quick speed that even stepping onto it caused you to lose your balance. Someone reached out to help steady you and when you looked up you saw it was Johnny. You felt butterflies in your stomach as you smiled up at him and he smiled back.
Steve-O came over to hold your floaty while you positioned yourself to sit down on it.
“You’re one bad ass motherfucker, (Y/N),” he said once you were ready to go.
“Thanks, man,” you said. “I’m good whenever you wanna let me go.”
Although you felt far from ready to go. Feeling how quickly the water was moving and now looking down the slide while being on it was starting to make you second guess your choice. But it was too late; you were already on the floaty and Johnny was watching. There was no turning back now.
“Okay, I’m gonna count to three and let you go,” Steve-O said. “One...two...” He hesitated, so you looked up and gave him a nod, confirming that you were ready. “Three.”
When he let you go, you shot down the slide like a rocket. You were moving so fast you were sure the wind was going to knock you off the floaty. The way down was actually kind of fun. You exclaimed in excitement as you hurtled towards the bottom of the slide, which was tilted upwards like a ramp for maximum launch.
Even being shot in the air felt like fun. You felt like you were flying. You were anticipating the painful landing, but you were sure once you got that first impact over with - as long as you didn’t land and break anything - you’d get the pain done and over with just as quickly.
But then you found yourself flipping as you made your downward decent. It felt like everything was moving in slow motion, but also like it was going too fast for you to try and fix yourself. Before you knew it, you were hitting the ground head first, and everything went black.
~~~~~~
When you came to you were sure you had died. All you could see when you opened your eyes was a bright white light. It took a few moments for your eyes to adjust to it and to realize it was just overhead lighting in a hospital room.
You were hooked up to wires that lead to a beeping machine. Your neck felt stiff and you realized it was because there was a brace around it. Actually, your entire body felt stiff. You wondered how long you had been out.
As if on cue, the door to your room opened and a doctor peaked in.
“Well hello there. Look who is awake,” he said. “Miss. (Y/L/N), do you remember how you got here?”
You went to shake your head, but groaned in pain as you did so.
“Yeah, I would advice against doing that as much as you can,” the doctor said. “You were brought in because you filmed a dangerous stunt that went wrong. You landed on your head very hard. You have a concussion and a neck injury. You’ll have to keep the brace on for a few weeks at least, and probably have to take it easy moving forward.”
You cringed to yourself. That didn’t sound great, especially in terms of your career. It wasn’t too far into the filming of Jackass Forever, and if you couldn’t finish the movie, what would that mean for you in the franchise moving forward?
“You’ll definitely have to sit out of the rest of filming that movie,” the doctor continued as if reading your mind. “No offense, but that stunt was incredibly stupid. Any one of you could’ve ended up much more seriously injured, or killed.”
All the stunts are like that, doc. Never stopped anyone before, you thought to yourself, but you wouldn’t dare say it out loud. The last thing you wanted was a lecture from a doctor you didn’t even know.
“You had someone come in with you,” he said. “We have him in the waiting room, but now that you’re awake we can send him in if you feel up for it.”
You went to nod, but remembered your neck injury and instead tried to speak for the first time.
“Yes.” It came out hoarse and squeaky, but at least you knew you could talk.
The doctor nodded and walked out of the room. You wondered who it was that came in with you. You figured it had to be one of the guys. They were probably all worried sick. You hoped they weren’t too stressed out over your injuries or anything.
You looked up at the door and felt your heart flutter when you saw Johnny standing there. He was looking at you with relief as he raced over to your bed, arms out like he was about to hug you. He stopped short before he reached you.
“Wait,” he said. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
You chuckled. “A little too late for that.”
He was cautious as he slipped his arms under your body and pulled you to him. You winced a little as a pain shot through your neck, but you tried not to let him know. When he laid you back down, the pain subsided.
“Do you remember what happened?” he asked.
“I remember the slide,” you responded. “I remember going down on it, being in the air. After that, it’s all blank.”
“Probably for the best. It wasn’t...pretty.”
“The doctor said I landed on my head.”
Johnny ran a hand through his silver hair. “Yeah...yeah you did. Really hard. We...we all thought...”
He trailed off, but you knew what he was going to say. They all thought you had died. It must’ve been a pretty bad for them to think that.
“Did you get it on film?” you asked.
“Yeah, but we’ve already decided we’re not putting it in the movie.” You opened your mouth to protest, but Johnny cut you off, “You could’ve died, (Y/N). We’re not putting that in the movie.”
“But you have had injuries just as bad or worse before, and you put that in the movie. Why is it any different if I do it? Because I’m a woman?”
“No, because I don’t wanna have to sit in the theatre and watch you get hurt again and have to relieve that fear I had when we realized you weren’t moving.”
The outburst took you back. You could understand that it was agreed to cut the scene out of respect for you, but the fact that Johnny felt so passionately about you being hurt kind of surprised you. You knew it shouldn’t, he cared for everyone in the Jackass crew, both the originals and the newbies, but there was something in his tone that made it seem different this time.
You reached out to take his hand in yours. When he looked up at you, you could still see the worry all over his face, like he was still waiting to know that you were okay.
“But I made it,” you reasoned. “You know that. You’re looking at me with your own eyes. If I’m sitting next to you in that theatre when the scene is shown, shouldn’t that count for something?”
Johnny wouldn’t meet your eye. He looked down at your connected hands, giving yours a slight squeeze before bringing it to his lips. He brushed a gentle kiss over your knuckles, both surprising you and making you dizzy with excitement.
“I feel things for you that I know are wrong,” he said. “Because in a way you’re my employee, and you’re so much younger than me. But I can’t help but feel this way. When I saw you get hurt and the medics told us you weren’t moving or waking up, I was terrified. It felt like my whole world was crashing down. I thought...I wasn’t going to be able to continue with the movie if we lost you.” He chuckled, humorlessly. “All that and we’re not even together or anything. I feel crazy.”
“You’re not crazy,” you assured him. “Honestly, not to make it sound like I’m blaming you, but I probably wouldn’t have done that stunt if it wasn’t for the fact that I feel the same way about you.”
He finally looked up at your face again, his eyes wide with shock now. “What?”
You could feel yourself heating up with embarrassment, but you kept talking anyways. “I keep participating in these big stunts because I also have feelings for you that I know I shouldn’t. I’ve been trying to impress you since day one. I had this idiotic thought in my mind that if I volunteered to do the more dangerous stunts that not even any of the guys wanted to do, that you’d be impressed and...and maybe you’d even like me back. How’s that for crazy?”
He smiled. A real smile, now. “That’s far beyond crazy. That’s utterly insane, actually.”
“Yeah, well, I think that’s par for the course when you’re part of Jackass.”
You both chuckled and soon silence filled the room. You weren’t sure where to go from here, and it didn’t seem like Johnny knew either.
Not that there was really any possibility of you going anywhere right now, considering the neck injury and the concussion. If he did happen to ask you out on a date or anything, there was no way you would be going out in public with the giant brace around your neck.
“Listen, I know you’re gonna be out of commission for a while,” Johnny said at last. “Trust me, I’ve been here more times than I can count. So, maybe with my experience in this area, I could help you get better.”
You giggled a little. “Are you gonna be my personal nurse?”
He did a mock salute and responded, “Nurse Knoxville, at your service. Anything you want or need, you just need to ask.”
You raised a suggestive eyebrow at him. “Anything?”
His face turned a light shade of pink as he awkwardly laughed. “Well, in your condition not anything, but we could work our way there eventually. If that’s what you want, I mean.”
You squeezed his hand again, almost forgetting you were still holding it. “I’d like that a lot, Johnny. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Now, get some rest. I’ll ask the doctor when we can have you out of here and back home.”
And round 2 is officially over!
It was very intense! Some of you wanted to (lovingly) hit me with something, but jokes on you because that only makes me stronger 😈
We had some real sweeps. Not whatever you call when your fav is losing, but actual bona fide sweeps. Congratulations to Howl's moving castle, A Goofy Movie, The Breadwinner and Wolf Children for obliterating their opponent. But specially to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, biggest sweep and most votes! *insert the evil has been defeated.jpeg*
We also had not one, but two ties! Kung Fu Panda vs Treasure Planet and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie vs Turning Red! All get to advance to next round, wohooo! And we had so many almost ties! I feel specially bad for the Lego movie which was slightly ahead when I checked an hour before closing time, but the fervor of mutant turtles fans is nothing to be scoffed at. Encanto, Tangled, Birdboy, Meet the Robinsons, Isle of Dogs and ParaNorman were also so close to making it! My biggest condolences to their fans 🙏
The Captain Underpants fandom, who managed to defeat another dog movie, entertained me a lot again, so I decided to bump the movie in my watch list and put it on top, see what all that love is about.
Speaking of watch lists, last time I promised I'd watch some movies, and I did! Here's some quick impressions of each:
The Congress: It was interesting. A bit too long for my tastes, specially at the beginning. Some things were a little too vague, I think. Can't help thinking not even animators would be needed with "AI". Reminded me of a sci fi story I read many many years ago and spent an hour looking for it. It was The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect, very similar concepts, go read it.
Waltz with Bashir: Another Ari Folman. The animation felt a bit too video game-esque to me at first, but you get used to it easily. This one is a documentary about the director's experiences in the Lebanon War, trying to find out his role in the 1982 Beirut Massacre. It's an exploration of memory and guilt and trauma. It's not easy to watch and it contains real graphic footage at the end. But if you can stomach that, go watch it.
The Fabulous Baron Munchausen: Available in the Internet Archive, which is lucky because I couldn't find it anywhere else. I guess it's not bad it lost because I'm not sure I could qualify this as animated.* I couldn't really get into the story, but the way it was filmed makes it a beautiful feast for the eyes.
Finally, you guys asked for a sideways map tree, also known as bracket, so now that we're down to 64(ish) movies I'll keep my promise and make it. That said, I expect to take a couple of days to organize everything and set up the polls, so we'll have a brief intermission. In the meantime, go watch some amazing animation shorts over at @best-animated-short-tourney
Keep sending those asks, it makes my day every time I receive one :D I love discussing the good, the bad, what you liked, what you didn't, all criticism welcome, but remember do not attack people over what they like!
*which does bring to question about what is or isn't an animated movie. We agreed Roger Rabbit could qualify, and of course CGI is a form of animation.... could it then be argued movies like Avatar (the blue ones) that rely heavily on CGI are animated? The film literally only has two shots with no CGI! Or the Disney "live action" remakes that are basically just CGI? Food for thought I guess.
Smut, swearing, mentions of recovery from addiction. Fluff, fluff, fluff.
Speed Dating (title by @littlemisspascal Thank you.)
Summary: Your first try at speed dating goes surprisingly well. (I don't usually do summarise but I didn't have a title so I thought I better have at least one of those things.)
God, this place was an assault on your senses. The scent of overpowering cologne, rolling over the sickly sweetness of two for one cocktails. The low light on the main floor boarded with the gaudy neon lights from the bar and what appeared to be left over Christmas lights were causing a headache to brew behind your eyes.
Shifting uncomfortably in your seat, your feet made an audible ripping sound as you peeled them from the sticky floor. This was definitely a wipe your feet on the way out kind of place. So why the hell had you agreed to come here to speed date?! Oh right, the crushing loneliness. Being a single parent, barrelling towards forty and riding out a pandemic had reduced your dating options significantly. When your friend had suggested this you had said no straight away. The idea of dating, all that energy getting to know someone new when you barely had energy for yourself after working, looking after your child, your house and trying to be somewhat social, was a nightmare. Then she called you after you watched The Eternals for movie night. You always played off being single, told yourself that you were fine, that you were strong enough to do everything, that you didn't need someone to love. Watching Druig and Makkari with all their chemistry, you couldn't help but think about what it would be like to have someone in your life you could have a connection with. Someone that would call you beautiful and give you a little shelter from the world. A little softness in all doom and gloom. This is how you ended up in a rundown old bar on a very rare child free Saturday night.
The whole thing had been excruciating. Your tried to being positive, you gave each guy a chance, you really did, but between the guys who just openly stared at your chest, straight up proposition you or screamed potential serial killer, you were done after half an hour. As soon as the bell dinged cueing the guy, who had asked a weird amount of questions about your taste in shoes, to leave, you shot up out of your chair, only pausing to turn and grab your things from your chair.
"Wow, do I really make that bad of a first impression?" A rich voice half chuckled from behind you. Still clutching your bag and jacket you spun around to find the source of it. Woah. It took a moment for your brain to catch up. The man standing in front of you was gorgeous. He looked so out of place here. The was no way he was here to take part in speed dating. He was taller than you, at first you thought that's what made you felt eclipsed by his size but you soon realised he only stood a couple of inches taller than you. It was his broad frame that made you feel tiny by comparison. Wide set shoulders, a firm chest, that his loosely buttoned Hawaiian shirt gave a tantalising peek of, framed with strong arms folded across his stomach. The open neck of his shirt drew your attention to his neck, thick and muscular, you longer to bury your face in it. You made a bet with yourself that he smelled amazing. Clean but earthy. From the look of his hands he was not stranger hard to work. His nails were neatly trimmer but his cuticles were a little rough. You bet he could be a little rough with his hands.
And his face, where to begin, the phrase 'eyes you could get lost in' came to mind, deep mahogany, laughter lines and a gentle raise to his eyebrows softened the intensity. His lips naturally pouted as they rested open, just slightly, as he looked at you. They looked so soft and inviting. His mustache excentuated them nicely. His strong jaw was covered with stubble the few grey patches gave him a distinguished look. His nose was strong, for some reason you longed to kiss the bridge of it.
"Frankie." he held his hand out as he introduced himself. Taking it you gave him your name.
"I understand if you want to go. I've been watching you..." he cut himself off when you furrowed your brow at him. "Not in a creepy way. Well, at least I hope you won't find it creepy." He was flustered now, which was charming on him.
"Well, in what way were you watching me?" You slid back into your seat.
He followed suit before continuing. "My buddy Benny has a thing for the bartender working tonight." He turned his head over his shoulder, stretching his shirt tighter to his chest as he did so. It took you a moment to follow his gaze. A younger man was leaning over the bar, his head dipped to the bartenders ear. Whatever he said earned him a playful slap to the shoulder and a lingering look as she moved away to serve someone. He lifted his beer, nodding towards Frankie as he noticed him. Frankie gave a small wave in return, showcasing his long fingers. You really needed to get a grip. Being gorgeous didn't rule out him being a complete creep. Listening to the rest of his story, while you enjoy the view, couldn't hurt though. "She told him she was working here tonight. Benny signed me up. We don't normally drink here so he said it would be good to build my confidence."
"Build your confidence?" you hoped your tone sounded neutral, though you were a touch surprise. Everyone can have a problem with their confidence but you would have thought dating would be a bit easier for someone as attractive as him. Maybe that was just your own insecurities talking.
"Yeah, divorced dad, wrong side of forty, ex-military. A few things that are hard to sell I guess."
"Am a single parent. I never get to go out. My son's grandma is visiting from out of town so she's looking after him. Hard to met people when you only go the same few places." The words flowed from your mouth easily, normally you'd feel self conscious talking about your lack of a social life. Between Frankie being in a similar situation and his soulful eyes trained on you, it was so easy to open up.
Frankie smiled warmly. "See, that's why I was watching you after you caught my eye. You seemed just as uncomfortable and out of place as me. I could see you trying your best to be polite too. It was nice." Your cheeks heated at the compliment. "I figured you wouldn't give an old man like me too hard a time."
"You're not old!" You laughed. Frankie seems enchanted by it, his brown eyes locked on to like you were they only other person in the world.
When his gaze became too intense he snapped it away to focus on his drink. "Yeah, you should tell that to my back."
A comfortable silence wound round the both of you for a second. Both of you basking in the warmth of this newfound connection. The ember of something more burning between you. It was a beautiful moment until the bell rang out for Frankie to switch tables.
Frankie reluctantly stood. "I guess I better...." he gestured over his shoulder to the next table. A middle aged brunette sat at the next table, she was practically salivating at the prospect of some time with Frankie. Or maybe you had a jealous streak. "Frankie? Do you wanna get out of here?" If you thought Frankie couldn't be more gorgeous, you were wrong. The smile he gave you made him look like a ray of sunshine. It was bright and infectious. A smile of your own spread across your face before he even said yes. Placing his drink back on the table, he held out his hand to you. Without a seconds hesitation you took it, the two of you practically jogged out of the bar, followed by murmurs from the other singles and a shout of what sounded like "Go fish!". Whatever that was about.
Rushing out of the door, a fit of giggles erupted from the both of you. "I don't even know where we can go. I don't have a car. My friend is helping to run this, she drove me. I just saw how the next woman was looking at you and didn't want you to go to her because I liked you. That is so stupid." Finally, you managed to get yourself under control.
"For what it's worth I like you too. Even if you'd had let me leave I was coming back to you." The way he said it made you feel like he was going off to some epic battle not a couple of dimly lit tables with desperate singles. Tomato/tomahto. Dating can be brutal. For a moment you allowed yourself feel like a fair princess who's handsome knight was going off to war and would do anything to get back to her. Instead of being the princess who has to put on her own suit of armour and get shit done herself.
"I have a car but I only go to like five places regularly. We're too tall for the soft place area. The library is closed. Ah, I know just the place." He held the crux of his arm out to you. No one had ever done that to you before, it was sweet. When you hesitated he spoke "I promised I'm not a serial killer."
"That's probably..." you started.
"...what a serial killer would say." You both finished.
The short drive was filled with comfortable chit chat. You covered work, siblings, brief dating history. All the usual date stuff.
"I don't normally take a girl anywhere this fancy on a first date but you're special." Before you could work out what he was talking about the golden arches appeared from around the bend.
"I hope you're not trying to buy my affections with this fine dining. It takes more than haute cuisine to get into my pants." Damn those two for one cocktails. You'd only had two but your lips were a little too loose. Fortunately, Frankie took it as good natured banter, he smiled broadly, only blushing a little. It was so adorable you longed to make his cheeks flush in another way.
Sitting in the carpark after collecting your food, that Frankie insisted on paying for and insisted he knew it would more than a Big Mac to get into your pants, the easy conversion returned.
"This is actually a rare treat for me." You gush between a mouthful of fries and a glup of banana milkshake
"Really?" Frankie sounded as shocked as you could with a mouth full of burger.
"My son's not a fan so it's just easier to go somewhere he likes."
"My daughter's the opposite. She would eat here all the time. If I let her eat this and watch Encanto 24/7 I'd be the best dad in the world. I might lose my mind though."
"You don't like Encanto?" He looked sheepish at your question.
"Don't tell me you don't think 'We Don't Talk About Bruno, is a bop." you laugh reaching for your milkshake while the saltiness of your fries was still in your mouth.
"Definitely. Surface Pressure is a close second though." He admitted flushing adorably again.
"Yes!" you giggled. "The donkeys just vibing in the background. Art."
Grabbing a another couple of fries, you popped the salty treats into your mouth and grabbed your milkshake.
"You could just dip those in. I won't think it's weird or anything." He suggested before eating a few of his own fries.
"Oh, I don't do that. I just like a little bit of salty with a little bit of sweet. This way works great."
"Just a little taste of each, huh?"
Before you could raise your milkshake all the way to your face Frankie's hand was gripping it over yours. His touch was firm and warm, adding to the increasing feeling of safety you had in his company. Bringing the cup into reach of his mouth his lips parted, allowing the straw to fall between them. His eyes fixed on yours as his tongue swirled around it to pull it into place. His Adam's Apple bobbed as he took a sip. Before you could ask what he was doing, he moved closer, lips hovering over yours for a brief moment. Eyes scanning your face to gage if this was OK. His lips then touched yours, firm but gentle. Parting slightly to caress yours. He stilled for a second as if he was giving you a chance to move away. You responded my bringing your free hand to the back of his neck. Fingers threading into the soft curls there. His lips pulled up against yours in a smile before his tongue swept your lips. When you opened your mouth to let him in, your senses were assaulted for the second time that night. The taste of the sweet milkshake, the heat radiating from him, the sounds of him lightly moaning.
"I see what you mean they taste good together." He breathed against your lips after you separated. It was a move that would have had you cringing if some soppy, lovesick teenager had pulled it in a movie but from Frankie? It was incredibly endearing. And so fucking hot. Throwing caution, and a fair few fries, to the wind you crossed the bench seat of his truck to kiss him again. After making out like teens for a while, then a fair bit of groping, Frankie drove you to his place. All the way there the ghost of his touch made your body come alive. Your whole being thrummed with anticipation. It had been longer than you'd care to admit since you'd had sex but the way Frankie was looking at you, it was all but guaranteed you would tonight. A hopeful part of your mind had been open to the possibility while you got ready tonight. A beautiful new and actually matching underwear set was hidden under your dress. You'd shaved and moisturised to within an inch of your life. The way your skin felt way too hot and a little damp you worried that you'd just effectively turned your body into a human slip and slide. Then you worried that you hadn't done it in so long that you might have to google some of those bisected pictures from high school biology to see what goes where.
By the time you reached Frankie's place, your heart was in your mouth. Anxiety and hormones vying to take over your nervous system.
The welcoming environment of Frankie's cosy home did little to help. A hallway dotted with pictures opened up to a living room. Huge cushions rest on a fabric sofa, blackets lay on the back of it and a recliner in the corner. His home was neat as a pin, simply decorated but not sterile. Since he was a vet you wondered if he bedroom was just a neat. If you could bounce a quatre off his bed. If you would bounce if he threw you on it. The lustful thought must have shown on your face as Frankie was back on you after being a gracious host, welcoming you into his home, offering you a drink. God, the way his kissed. It was gentle but demanding, consuming. His long fingers you had admired early had found their way to you hips. His grip was like his kiss, soft but firm. A little too lost in him, his thumbs stroking your hips, his lips on your neck, you bumped into a side table. Something clattered to the floor. Breaking the kiss, you saw it was a framed photo of Frankie and who you assumed was his daughter. She was adorable. All brown eyes and curls. She had to be his. Scooping the picture up you held it for a moment. If this went well, you'd have to meet her. What would your son think of Frankie? How would this even progress? You get zero time to yourself. Were you going to sneak Frankie over once your son went to sleep?
"Hey. What are you thinking?" His hand wrapped around yours on the frame. His chest pressed to your side. He was so solid, physically and in his presence.
"Nothing." He raised his eyebrows before kissing your shoulder. He was patient, he could tell you wanted to talk to him but he wasn't going to push. "I just...I'm just feeling a little overwhelmed. It's been a long time since I did this. I'm honestly not sure I remember to do." He chuckled lightly. "I want you but I'm so nervous."
"The speed dating part ended at the bar. There's no rush to do anything. I haven't found someone so easy to talk to in such a long time. Not since..." His eyes flickered to the photo of his daughter. Did he just compare you to the mother of his child? "...I like to get to know you better."
"I'd like that too." Placing a kiss to your temple he took the photo from you returning it to it's spot on the table.
"You wanna watch a movie? I have popcorn. Cinema sweet?" He tossed over his shoulder as he walked into the kitchen. "You want a drink? I have soda, water, juice, coffee. I think I have tea." Following him into the kitchen, your suspicions were confirmed by the sobriety chip rest in a bowl by the fridge. Nestled between a set of keys and half a pack of gum. That told you a lot you need to know about Frankie Morales. Tee-total but took his friend to a bar to be his wing man.
"Oh shit. How will your friend get home?"
"Benny? I doubt he's even going home. He'll find someone to give him a ride, he always does."
"Was it me or did he shout 'Go fish' when we left? Is that like the card game? An in joke?"
That cute smile spread come back. "Er, no. It's my name. Well, what they call me. Catfish."
"Catfish?"
"Yeah. I'm a good swimmer and the mustache. It's stupid." His cheeks tinged pink again. Frankie was definitely a complex man. Obviously strong but so sweet and vulnerable. You filed the swimmer part away it was way too distracting. You could see it though he was built for it. Those strong arm, broad shoulders, glistening in the water...you need to calm down.
"I like it. I've never had a nickname." You thought it was sweet that his friends had put so much thought into in. The men you knew didn't usually put that much thought in to their nicknames for each other. It was usually something insulting that stuck.
"I'll have to find you one." The popcorn began to pop manically behind him. "You want to pick the movie?"
While Frankie dished up the popcorn you flicked through your choices. The first app you came to was Disney+. You chuckled at the profiles being named 'Catfish' and 'Minnow'.
"My friend Santi help me set it up. You need a code for mine. It's 4321."
"A twist on a classic."
"I'm a traditionalist but I'm not above mixing it up." He smiled settling in next to you placing the popcorn on his lap but tilting it towards you. Not the way you'd pictured having your hand in his lap but it was just as good.
"Oh, hey. Prey! I forgot that was out today." Excitement was evident in your tone.
"You like Predator movies?"
"I love them. You?"
"I just finished binging them to watch this. Even The Predator."
"Not the strongest one. The cast was ok. Some good action scenes."
"Yeah the main guy was definitely no Arnie. He wasn't bad though."
"You wanna watch? I gotta warn you, I don't like talking during movies."
"Who talks during movies? That's what snacks are for, to shut people up."
For a moment you would happily have brought the speed dating aspect back and sped right to moving in and marrying this man.
The film went by pretty fast. Frankie hummed in approval at all the right places, much to your delight. By the end of it you were sat with your legs tucked up underneath you, resting against Frankie's chest. His arm was slung around you, his head resting on top of yours. It had been a long time since you had been this comfortable with a man. You were apparently both so comfortable that somewhere after the end of the movie while scrolling your next choice you both fell fast asleep.
"Frankie?" You mumbled sleep coating your voice.
"What? Oh, shit." He jumped up with a start looking at his watch. "It's 5am! Did you need to get home? Fuck, I'm sorry. I can't stay awake for shit anymore."
"It's fine. I was supposed to be staying at my friend's house. We were gonna do a girlie pamper day." You reassured him as he dropped back down into the cushions.
"I could take you? If you still want to go?" He sounded a little dejected.
"If you're free, I'd rather spend some more time with you."
"I'd like that."
A little self conscious of your morning breath you pressed a kiss to his cheek. Frankie took the opportunity to catch your lips.
"Frankie. I must have bad morning breath." You protested.
"Yeah. Horrible. Disgusting really." He mumbled between kisses.
"Hey." You pushed him playfully. He responded by playfully overpowering you, pining you beneath him on the couch. Things got a whole lot less playful from there. The two of grabbed at each other like you were trying to merge into one entity. Frankie's body ended up completely flush with yours. A gasp of his name left you when his demin clad erection pressed into you. Your hips chased after the friction, which Frankie gladly provided. After just a few rolls of his hips the two of you were a panting mess.
"Frankie? Can we...? Do you have...?" Fuck, have a gorgeous man pay you this much attention was not good for your IQ.
It took him a second to catch up then he quickly pulled a condom from his jeans pocket. "Benny." He said by way of an explanation.
With that out of the way the two of you made short work of undoing his jeans. As you pushed them down his hips, he shoved his underwear down. Thankful the small squeak you let out was cover but the sound of Frankie opening the condom. Good thing those things stretch. He was huge. Bigger than anything you had tucked in your draw at home. Frankie was too focused on pulling off your underwear to notice you gawking.
"Frankie? Can we take it easy? I think I'll need some time to adjust."
"Oh...yeah." The poor man turned beetroot. "Do you want to fool around a little more first?"
"No, I want you. I'm just not certain I can handle you."
"I'll be gentle, Hermosa. Tell me if you want me to stop." His voice was so soothing and sincere. You had no doubt he would stop if you asked. "Ready?"
When you nodded he grip himself to guide the tip to brush your clit. After circling it a few times, earning a chorus of moans from you, he notched himself at your enterance. Oh so slowly, he slide inside. The stretch of him stole your breath.
"You good?" He asked while hovering over you. When you nodded he lowered his weight onto you and pushed further in. All the urgency from earlier was gone. As soon as he filled you completely he lay there kissing your cheeks, forehead, neck. Each kiss delicate and deliberate.
"Do you want me to move?"
"God yes." It came out more desperate that you had wanted. It was your turn to blush.
"It's okay. I feel the same but like I said, anything changes with you, I stop. Just say."
Damn you liked this man. A sweet kiss to lips evolved into a gasp into his mouth as he withdrew to thrust back in. The size of him filling you was one thing but the drag of it, the punch of it as he bottomed out again? It had you curling around him, clinging on for dear life. With each drag out came the anticipation of him filling you again, of that strike to your nerves that sent you reeling. It wasn't like all the fantasies you'd built up in your head. Of stumbling in from a night out, clothes being flung everywhere, succumbing to your need and being fucked to within a inch of your life until you came apart violently on a strangers cock. Not that you would have had the courage to do that. The whole thing was steady, reassuring, just like Frankie. It all felt so good, his weight on top of you, inside you. His laboured breath on you neck. His lips skimming your skin. His large hands holding your ass up as he moved deeper between your legs.
As Frankie thrust a little faster you felt your orgasm building beneath the surface. It wouldn't breach without a little something more.
"Fuck, I'm close. What do you need baby?"
Taking a second to think about it, you told him "Nothing. I just want to feel you come Frankie. Can you do that for me?"
His whole body shivered as he spilled into the condom. He grunted before chanting your name, a hint of an accent, that you'd ask him about later, slipping in. Holding the condom in place he slipped out. Taking a second to catch his breath, he lay on your chest. A happy lopsided grin on his face, a few errant curls stuck to his forehead. Being the reason for his smile was almost as good as climaxing yourself. Reluctantly, he peeled himself off you to dispose of the condom. When he returned, he crawled into your welcoming arms.
"I'm such a gentleman. I treat you to burgers in my truck. Fell alseep on you. Then I have sex with you on my couch, while half dressed and I didn't even make you come."
"Such a gentleman!" You giggled.
"Seriously though. Can I make it up to you?"
"What did you have in mind?"
"Dinner without a wrapper? Sex in a bed? And..." It's a strong possibility that you might have fallen back asleep and dreamt the next few minutes because one minute Frankie was getting himself comfortable between your legs and the next minute you were coming harder than you ever had. It hit you so hard that your upper lifted up of the couch curling into where the pleasure was coming from. A high pitched wail floated out from you. You could only imagine that you looked like a demented, Halloween toy ghoul rising up from it's coffin. Speaking of with you could be buried now and be happy about it.
"Frankie...that was..." there were no words.
"Did I score some gentlemen points back, my lady?" He moved back up to you.
"All of them." You sighed laying your head on his shoulder. "Thank you."
"What for making you come?"
"Not just that." The grin on your face threatened to split it in half. "I was so nervous about, being with someone again. Even opening myself up to the possibility of liking someone. You made it feel easy."
"I just did what you deserve. You seemed like you needed a little support. I get what that's like. Plus dating is scary. That's kind of a good thing though. If it wasn't someone else might have snapped you first."
"Is that what this is? You snapping me up?"
"I'm trying. Is it working?"
"I'm not hating it. I'm a little rusty though. We might have to do this a few more times for me to know if it's working."
"Well, we do have five more Predator movies on Disney+ to watch."
"You still need to find me a nickname."
"I could even be persuaded to the rent The Predator. If it gets me one more date."
"Wow, you really must like me."
And that was the start of your favourite annual tradition. The kids stayed with family while you and Frankie binged watched Predator and fucked on the sofa. Both of you thankful for Benny's libido causing a chance meeting that changed both your lives for the better.
Fishy's top movies watched in 2023
It’s that time of year again. Time for my movies roundup for the year.
This post includes movies that I watched in 2023, not movies that were released in 2023. I will rank movies based on my personal impression, so this is not an objective post. As well, I sort the movies in tiers as opposed to individual rankings.
From my ‘About’ page, you can see my movies posts from prior years as well as my Dreamwidth blog where I post writeups on movies and other media.
And on with the list!
My Favourite Movies of the Year
These were the movies that had the biggest impact on me. I think of them often.
The Last Black Man in San Francisco (2019)
Tumblr media
This movie was about a man and his attachment to his childhood house. It was based on the experiences of one of the writers, who also played a fictionalized version of himself in the movie as one of the main characters. I thought the movie was thoughtful in its themes, about gentrification, and people's attachments to places.
Another reason why I liked this movie was because it was very beautiful. I was so in awe of some of the shots and aesthetic choices that the director had made. San Francisco is such a visually distinct city and the director definitely took advantage of that. As well, the colour palettes in this movie were so pretty. I had fun choosing a gif for this movie in my post because there were so many beautiful shots. (My custom Tumblr theme seems to be cutting off some gifs so if you are viewing this post in my custom theme, please click on the above gif to see it in full because it is pretty :3)
Definitely check out this show if you want a visual feast and a meaningful story.
Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms (封神第一部: 朝歌風雲) (2023)
Tumblr media
I know this is more of a fun action flick but it really did move me. This movie is the first in a trilogy covering the Investiture of the Gods, a famous Chinese historical fantasy and mythology novel. The novel is a retelling of the fall of the Shang Dynasty and the rise of the Zhou Dynasty, with mythology weaved in.
This movie specifically followed the journey of Ji Fa, who would be the future King of the Zhou Dynasty (sort of a spoiler though most Chinese audiences will already know who he is). Ji Fa was a hostage son who glorified his captor, Yin Shou, the last King of the Shang Dynasty. Over the course of the movie, Yin Shou’s tyranny was revealed, and by the end of the movie, Ji Fa understood his values and decided he had a responsibility to take down the tyrant. The mythological story line had to do with the immortals seeing that Yin Shou’s rule would be bad for the common folk, and wanting to stop that from happening. It was an exciting movie about war and politics, but it was also a touching story about fathers and sons. I kept rewatching scenes between fathers and sons and brothers and feeling those moments of love for one another.
There have been comparisons between this movie and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and for good reason. The director, Wuershan, took much inspiration from the Lord of the Rings and consulted and hired people who had worked on the Lord of the Rings. Many behind the scenes videos outlined the extensive design process in creating the world that this story was set in. There was also a separate variety show that covered the 8-9 month training camp that all of the young actors attended to hone acting and physical ability. It’s clear that a lot of love went into this movie, and it showed in how rich the movie felt to me.
For some reason, I couldn't find any Creation of the Gods gifs using the Tumblr in-post gif finder. So instead, I looked up specific characters and found a gif from one of the most hype scenes in the movie >3
Check out this movie if you want something fun and fast-paced!
Honourable Mentions
These were also movies that I enjoyed and they made me think. They just weren’t at the top of my list.
The King of Comedy (1982)
The King of Comedy was about a man who was desperate to find fame through any means possible. There were characters in the movie who were fascinated with fame and celebrities in different ways. What was chilling was that some of these characteristics were familiar to us and I was sympathetic to them to varying degrees. I thought the different interpretations of obsession with celebrity were interesting, and relevant even to celebrity culture now.
An Elephant Sitting Still (大象席地而坐) (2018)
This was a drama film focusing on a few main characters living in a town, each with their own battles. One of the characteristics of this movie was its length, nearly 4 hours long, and yet this movie did not feel as long as other long movies I watched. The director Hu Bo naturally had a slow style but it didn’t feel slow. Rather, he captured some of the mundanity of life so instead of feeling bored, I felt that I was accompanying these characters in real time as they went about their day. As mentioned, this was a story about characters and their battles, and I did feel some parts of this story to be somewhat hard to watch. Not literally, but in the sense that I felt bad and I knew I couldn’t do anything for the characters. I know this movie definitely isn’t for everyone given its length and style, but I felt that I could get a sense of what the director was trying to express, about trying to break free of one’s chains.
Movies that were still good
I thought these movies were good and they had messages that would speak to other people.
From Up on Poppy Hill (コクリコ坂から) (2011)
This was a movie about young people, young romance, and coming of age. Our main characters were high school students. Through the course of the movie, they learned about themselves, each other, and they learned to fight for causes they believed in. As a story, it was fun. It was cute, but our characters did encounter troubles which I appreciated.
While this movie was animated by Studio Ghibli, it was directed by Miyazaki Goro, the son of Miyazaki Hayao, and there were notable differences in style. I felt that From Up on Poppy Hill was a bit faster paced, but still showed off much of the Studio Ghibli style that we appreciate, in high quality animation and pacing.
Apocalypse Now (1979)
I’m not normally drawn to war films, but I felt that the story line of this movie offered something a bit different. This movie was about a military captain who was assigned to assassinate a defector during the Vietnam War. I think this movie appealed to me because the plot was more of a personal journey of the captain as he tried to understand why the defector had decided to take the path that he did. It offered a different perspective on the horrors of war that I commonly see. I think this is one of those movies that I’ll have to re-watch several times because it was packed with interesting dialogue.
Bullhead (Rundskop) (2011)
This was a solemn drama/crime film, surrounding an illegal market where livestock were injected with hormones. From beginning to end I felt a serious sense of gravity over the main character as he went about his life, and as we discovered his past. I think the appeal of this movie was the style and the character, as opposed to the story. Not that the story was bad, but rather, I think the story was more of a vehicle to show us what life was like for the people in this movie, specifically our main character.
I Am Mother (2019)
I do love a science fiction story that asks questions and makes me think. I Am Mother was about a child who was raised by a robot. Initially, we were only privy to the nurturing of this child. As she grew older, we were shown more about the truth of the world. I liked this movie because it was simple from a story standpoint, but it did raise a lot of hypothetical questions, which is what I love about science fiction stories.
Quest for Fire (1981)
I included this movie on my list because it certainly left an impression on me. To sum up my feelings on it, I appreciated the commitment to the concept. This movie was about a group of cavemen in prehistoric times. They had had a fire, but it was put out, and so the group sent a few members to find fire again. The reason this movie left an impression was because it was very raw. This was a prehistoric time, a time before many of the social norms we were familiar with would have been common among people. Some of it was gruesome, such as violence or just eating habits that were hard to watch, but I appreciated that the movie retained this cohesive style to immerse us in the time period. I’m pretty sure this movie was not historically accurate (for reasons that I won't say because of spoilers) but I think it delivered the story it set out to deliver.
The Heroic Trio (東方三俠) (1993)
If I was 13 years old I probably would have made this movie my entire personality. This was an action-adventure movie starring three icons of Hong Kong and Chinese entertainment (Michelle Yeoh, Anita Mui, and Maggie Cheung). It was a story about solving crime mixed in with a little bit of the supernatural. It had a surprising amount of backstory, particularly relating to two members of the trio. And of course I loved seeing the women fight in cool action scenes.
Closing Remarks
I’m a little surprised myself that there were some critically acclaimed movies that didn’t make this list. This didn’t bother me in previous years but it did bother me this year. I went into some movies expecting to love them because they were what I would consider my type of movie. Perhaps it was because my expectations were too high, that the parts I didn’t like seemed to stick out more to me. I did do some thinking as to why I didn’t like those movies and I think I still stand by those opinions.
Anyway, that’s it for 2023. Have you seen any of these movies? What did you think of them? Let me know!
Wishing everyone a happy 2024!
I wanted to do a little special review of my rewatch of the pilot since it is iconic:
Seeing Luna immediately shot me in the heart with nostalgia. She is my daughter <3
Tumblr media
I remember the first time I watched this being intrigued by the opening scene in her room after she wakes up from her dream. Just the way it was filmed felt more like a movie, so I already could see this was going to be different than anything I ever saw on Disney Channel
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cancun views!! One thing about this pilot that sold me was the gorgeous establishing shots of Cancun and later Buenos Aires, they really captured the beautiful locations of the show, and having her skate around these places? simply iconic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Foodger Wheels!! There's just something about Luna & Simón in their Foodger Wheel Uniforms that will always warm my heart
I absolutely love the first scene we get of Lumón - even thought I didn't ship them romantically, they were the reason I got hooked on the show so quickly. I just found them to be so adorable and I loved their friendship that was established
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ÁMBAR!!!! She's just instantly serving girlboss (interesting parallels with Luna's first scene that I never noticed before. Monica being a loving mother but not understanding her daughter's "dreams" visions and Ámbar mimicking Sharon...hmm)
Matteo...ugh dodging Ámbar's calls, doing his weird break dance skating, I'm already disinterested lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THE VALENTES <3 Oh how I've missed Miguel & Monica! Parents of the year. When they tell Luna they're a team <3
Tumblr media
Rey! Seeing Rey now after having watched so much Violetta with the actor as Gregorio is just so wild to me HOW IS THIS THE SAME MAN!?
Tumblr media
Rey's obvious dislike towards Ámbar is so funny. Nothing like an adult man's biggest enemy being the bratty teenager of the woman he works for
The Lutteo meeting is alright. They have their little bump and banter. One thing I do like is Luna is not at all impressed with him and always teases him
The "Chico Fresa" thing is one of the cuter things I like about Lutteo - she called him as she saw him so good for that
I think what aggravates me about Matteo is how much he doesn't care about Ámbar, like that's his girlfriend and he's just flirting with Luna and ignoring Ámbar but then tries to act all smooth with Ámbar too, maybe Ámbar isn't the nicest person, but what she expects from her boyfriend isn't so wildly out of the ordinary and he's annoying lol LIAR!:
Tumblr media
SIMÓN MY BOY I love him so dearly. He's so good and pure and a wonderful friend. He's such a baby in these episodes too. His smile is just so soft and him spending the episode trying to write the song that Luna dreamed a melody of is so precious
TODO LO QUE QUIERO LO PODRAS ALCANZAR?? when he says it's "our song" like SHUTUP, the Lumon goodbye scene is so sweet and when he waves goodbye I'm sorry I just adore those two to pieces. FUN FACT: I had no idea he was a regular in the show when I first watched so I was freaking out I wouldn't see him again 😅
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would love to taste the lobster Monica made Sharon that caused her to hire her and set off the course of this entire series because like O_O
Luna is psychic. Why is everyone ignoring this???!!!!
Your Nightowl #023
One Percenter’s an old term. Been around since the 20th century, at least, which is impressive for slang. It’s only starting to  fall out of fashion these days because 1 percent is looking pretty optimistic.
Its probably more like .1 percent.
Looking back at history, i can tell that the number’s gonna keep getting smaller.
i’ve found references to an Upper Ten (percent) in some history documents. Can you imagine? One in ten.  ((유∀유|||))
Tumblr media
Hilariously (but maybe predictably?), it was the one, not the other nine, who were least found of that ratio.  ಠ_ರೃ They felt that it wasn’t exclusive enough, and resented the implication that you can just buy your way into their social circles (you could then, you can now, and you always will be able to). One small group of incredibly un-self-aware types were so insulted that they tried to convince the media to cut it down to just the four hundred names in their address book.
There’s probably a decent chunk of people alive today who’d like how they thought. It helps that those same people are all pushing into their 90’s.  (~v^)
The odd thing is, these first labels were meant to be compliments- niceties written up by sycophants just outside the ballrooms and galas ᕕ(⌐■v■)ᕗ ♪♬ , vain attempts at flattering the rich elite by
Boxing them in, i guess? i dunno how they expected their audience to receive it.
With grace, maybe. This was back when people believed that wealth was the result of divine providence instead of insider trading and a healthy distaste for your fellow man.
The One Percenter, on the other hand, is a creation of the masses. A criticism meant to highlight the absurdly unbalanced equation. That’s probably why it’s endured as long as it has, but in today’s world, it’s just not enough. You can’t shame people who are shameless- especially if all their windows are soundproof.
Taking all that into consideration, you’d think that the idea of the 99Man wouldn’t stick, but here we are. Mods aren’t cheap, but no one with money has ever been forced to get them, and even the most eccentric among them wouldn’t mod more than an eye or two. Why would they? Their bodies are pristine, healthy, regularly checked-up-on. They didn’t grow up breathing in smog or punching their own liver with a shot every night just to sleep through the anger. They don’t need to replace their body parts, because they’re all convinced that they’re going to live forever (with good reason).
So average Modder is pretty heavily in debt, and thus the 99Man has become the hero of the masses. A person driven to replace not 10% or 20% of their body with metal, but up to 99%. A self-made-man, taking full advantage of the cybernetic shackles his would-be oppressors hoped to chain him down with. A folk hero who could go around sucker punching the elite with his big robot arm, or walk through police barriers with his bulletproof skin.  (ง'̀-'́)ง
A superhero, i guess- but not the kind that fits into movies (Not that they haven’t tried. Don’t watch NineNineMan (2082), even as a joke.  ᇂvᇂ It’s not funny, it just sucks).
There’s a whole community of idiots on the net that think that HK is the 99Man, just because he’s accurate with a gun and he hasn’t been caught yet. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Putting aside all the laws mandating that mods be easy to track, 99 man is supposed to be a hero. Heroes can be unconventional, and they can even take lives-
But they can’t be murderers. Whoever HK is, he stopped being a friend of the working class the moment he shot down that first innocent victim.
99% exhausted,
Pattinson
Pairing: Tom Holland x Actress!reader
Synopsis: Tom gets jealous when you reveal your celebrity crush on Robert Pattinson
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Okay I saw these on Tik Tok and I had to get them for you.” Zendaya grinned as she slid a small black box towards you.
“What is it?” You eyed her skeptically as you accepted the box.
“Just open it and look.” She smiled and rubbed her hands together.
“No.” You gasped as you opened the box. “Team Edward underwear?”
You picked up a pair of lacy black paintings and held them out in front of you. The phrase “Team Edward” was stitched in bold white letters right over the crotch.
“Oh my God.” You burst into laughter. “What are these?”
“They’re just panties.” She said innocently. “I thought you’d like them.”
“I do but I cannot wear this around Tom.” You laughed and set them down. “He’ll think I’m insane.”
“Them wear them when he’s away.” She shrugged.
“I cannot believe you bought these.” You shook your head at her. “Or that someone made them. Or that I want to wear them more than anything.”
“See?” She smiled proudly. “I knew you’d like them.”
“I do.” You admitted. “But Tom can never know they exist.”
You put the panties away in your drawer that night and forgot about them. It wasn’t until a few weeks later when you were a guest on the Graham Norton show that your love of Twilight was brought up once again.
“Now, Y/n, I hear you’re a big Twilight fan.” Graham began.
“Yup. Last time I checked.” You nodded, purposefully quoting Jacob Black.
“Are you really?” Graham giggled.
“I cannot tell you how many times I’ve seen those movies.” You shook your head. “Especially the first one. Everyone few months I just sit down and shot gun the series.”
“Were you Team Edward or Team Jacob?”
“Team Edward all the way.” You said immediately. “This is so embarrassing, but I used to leave my window open when I was in middle school so Edward could come in.”
“That’s some dedication.” Graham laughed. “Did he ever come?”
“No. He never did.” You pouted. “13 year old me was really disappointed.”
“I hear you even got a tattoo.” Graham raised his eyebrows, making you hide your face in shame.
“I do.” You laughed behind your hand. “I got too drunk halfway through Eclipse and got a tattoo.”
“You have to show us.” Graham insisted.
“Okay but don’t laugh.” You laughed in defeat and rolled up your sleeve. You held your arm out to the camera, showing off your tattoo that read “Robert Pattinson” in tiny letters on your arm. The audience and Graham laughed at the randomness at the tattoo as your face heated in embarrassment.
“Look at this, it’s not even Twilight related”. Graham laughed. “It’s just Roberts name.”
“I wanted to get to the point.” You shrugged, earning some laughs.
“Why this font?” He wondered as he stared at the tattoo.
“It’s helvetica.” You deadpanned, making Graham cover his face with his cards as he laughed.
“It looks like you’ve just typed this out on the computer.” He pointed out.
“I was drunk.” You rolled your eyes playfully. “And it felt right in the moment.”
“You’ve never met Robert, right?” Graham asked. “You haven’t showed this to him?”
“No, I’ve never met him”. You sighed dramatically. “And he will never see this tattoo.”
“Well then you better cover it up.” Graham said as he looked behind him. “Ladies and gentlemen, Robert Pattinson.”
You furrowed your eyebrows and looked behind Graham as Robert Pattinson came out from back stage. He was in a navy suit, looking as beautiful as ever as he walked towards the couch.
“Oh My God.” You covered your face with your hands as the audience became deafening. You could hear Robert and Graham greeting each other over the sound of your heart pounding in your ears. Slowly, you took your face away from your hands and sheepishly looked up.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Rob.” Robert smiled as he looked down at you.
“Hi.” You smiled weakly as you stood up. Robert shook your hand and kissed your cheek to say hello, making you die on the spot. You let go of him and sat down on the couch, never taking your eyes off Robert.
“This is…” Graham gestured to you a few times, reminding you to say your name.
“Y/n. Sorry.” You blinked a few times. “It’s so nice to finally meet you. I’m a big fan.”
“Are you?” Robert asked as he sat down. “You a Twilight fan?”
“No, I haven’t seen it.” You lied as you collected yourself.
“You just said-“
“I love all your other movies though.” You cut Graham off. “I really admire your work. Your acting is phenomenal.”
“Thank you.” Robert smiled at you. “I’ve seen some of your work as well. I’m always very impressed.”
“Are you?” You squeaked.
“I am.” Robert chuckled. “You’re very talented. I hope we get to work together someday.”
“I’m surprised you two haven’t met before.” Graham cut in. “Y/n, Rob was in a movie with your boyfriend, wasn’t he?”
“With my what?” You asked as you stared starstuck at Robert.
“Your boyfriend.” Graham repeated as the audience laughed. “Tom Holland?”
“Right.” You laughed awkwardly as you continued to stare at Robert. “Him.”
“Yeah, we were in a movie together a few years ago.” Robert answered. “And we’re going to start filming another one soon. It’s called the Devil All The Time.”
“Right.” You remembered. “He told me about it. I was so jealous that he’s getting to work with you for a second time.”
“I’m sure you and I will share the screen one day. Playing lovers, perhaps.” Robert joked as he nudged you.
“Perhaps.” You squeaked.
“We’re gonna cut to commercial.” Graham announced. “More with Robert Pattinson and Y/n L/n after the break.”
After the interview, you ran back to your dressing room with a huge smile. You had not stopped smiling since Robert had walked out on stage. You walked into your dressing room and saw Tom sitting on your couch, making you let out a squeal.
“Ahh! Did you see me?” You gushed. “Did you see me with Edward?”
“Edward?” He chuckled as he hugged you. “You mean Robert Pattinson?”
“Yeah. Him.” You clapped your hands. “He shook my hand and kissed my cheek. I almost passed out. I’m in love with him.”
“I didn’t realize you were such a big fan.” Tom laughed awkwardly as you danced around the room.
“Are you kidding me? I’ve been in love with that man for over ten years now. I’m never washing my hand again.” You held out the hand he shook. “Or my face. God, he’s so beautiful.”
“Yeah. I’ve seen him.” Toms smile slowly faded. “We worked together, you know.”
“I know. You’re so lucky.” You sighed. “Did you hear him saw he wanted us to play lovers in a movie? Can you imagine if that actually happens?”
“No.” Tom said flatly. Before you could notice his indifference, someone knocked at your soon.
“Op. Someones at the door.” You said as you twisted the handle. You opened the door to reveal Robert leaning against your doorframe, knocking the air out of your chest.
“Hello again.” Robert smiled at you.
“Rob!” You stammered in surprise. “Hi.”
“Nice to see you again, Tom.” Robert said as he looked behind you. “How you been, mate?”
“I’ve been good. You?” Tom asked as he stood beside you. He wrapped a protective arm around your shoulders, not liking how fond you were of his former costar.
“Can’t complain.” Robert shrugged. “I’m excited to start filming though. I’ve been working on the accent but I’m not sure I’ve gotten it yet.”
“I’m sure you’ll do great.” You told him. “You’ve done great accents before.”
“Thank you.” He winked at you. “You should come to visit us once we start filming. I’d love to see you again.”
“Of course.” You nodded repeatedly. “I’ll be there.”
“Great.” Robert grinned. “I’ll let you guys get back to it. Bye.”
“Bye.” You enthusiastically waved to him.
“Oh, and Y/n?” Robert said before walking away.
“Yes?” You asked hopefully.
“Close your windows.” He joked, calling back to your story from before. You felt your face heat up and gave him an embarrassed smile before nodding.
“I will.” You told him. Robert firmly squeezed your shoulder before walking away. As soon as you shut the door, you let out a scream and jumped up and down.
“Did you hear that?” You asked Tom. “We have an inside joke. Edward Cullen and I have an inside joke.”
“You do know his name is Rob, right?” Tom said, less than amused. “Not Edward.”
“He’s Edward to me.” You rolled your eyes playfully. “I’ve never been this close to getting a vampire boyfriend. Ah, I’m so happy.”
“You already have a boyfriend.” Tom reminded you as he slumped on your couch. First he had to watch you and Robert fawn over each other on Graham’s couch, and now you wouldn’t stop talking about him. Tom was more than jealous at this point and it was starting to get to him.
“I know.” You chuckled as you sat beside Tom and laid your head on his shoulder. “And I love you. Even if you’re not a vampire.”
“Wow. Even if?” He chuckled sarcastically as he wrapped an arm around you. You leaned up to kiss him, making him feel better. You may be a fan of Robert, but Tom was the one you were kissing.
~
As promised, Tom brought you with him to the set of The Devil All The Time. He left you in his trailer early in the morning when he left to film, but you were nowhere to be found by the time he returned at the end of the day. Tom pouted when he found his trailer empty and went for a walk around the set to try and find you. When you didn’t turn up in any of the places he checked, he returned to his trailer in defeat.
“Darling?” Tom asked as he walked into his trailer. “Are you in here?”
“Where the hell you been, loca?” You asked as you threw your arms around Tom.
“What?” Tom laughed as he hugged you back, just happy to have found you.
“It was a Twilight reference.” You explained before kissing him hello. “I’ve been trying so hard not to make them around Edward all day.”
“You’ve been with Rob all day?” Tom pulled away, his mood dropping quickly.
“Uh huh.” You nodded in excitement. “I was helping him run lines in his trailer. Can you believe he asked me to help him?”
“Good for you.” Tom grumbled as he flopped down on his couch.
“What’s wrong?” You asked when you noticed Toms tone.
“Do you have feelings for this guy or something?” Tom asked. “Cause it’s starting to seem like you’d rather be with Rob.”
“What?” You laughed. “Tommy, don’t be silly. Of course I don’t have feelings for Rob.”
“Really?” Tom raised an eyebrow. “Because you’ve spent all days running lines with him instead of me, your boyfriend. When he’s around, he’s all you talk about Y/n. And I remember you saying you were in love with him multiple times.”
“I’m not in love with him, silly.” You insisted as you took a seat on his lap. “I’m in love with Edward Cullen. He was my comfort character growing up. I didn’t have a lot of friends in school, so I read books. Sometimes, it was nice to pretend a gorgeous vampire was willing to risk the Volturi to be with you.”
“The what?” Tom asked.
“It’s like the Vampire Supreme Court.” You replied.
“The what?” Tom repeated.
“Oh, right. British.” You remembered. “They’re just the most powerful vampire coven, okay? They make all the rules. You’d know them if you saw them. It’s Charlie Seen and that bitch from Cat in the Hat.”
“What does this have to do you liking Rob?” Tom whined.
“Right, sorry.” You waved your hand in dismissal. “I don’t have feelings for Rob. I don’t even know him. I’m just projecting the character I loved growing up onto the actor who played him. You’re telling me you didn’t geek out the first time you met RDJ?”
“I did.” Tom admitted.
“Exactly. He was your childhood hero and Edward was mine. That’s all this is.” You smiled and patted his cheek. “Nothing to worry about, Tommy.”
“Okay. I’m sorry.” Tom pouted and rubbed your back. “I shouldn’t have accused you of anything.”
“It’s okay. I can see why you got a little jealous. I have been talking about him a lot.” You admitted. “But I promise you, when I look at him, all I see is Edward. Just straight up baseball uniforms and spider monkies.”
“What the hell goes on in those movies?” Tom mumbled under his breath.
“Well, the last two are pretty much an abortion debate.” You began. “But they’re also about Bella being willing to die for that vampire dick.”
“In a vampire movie?” Tom wondered.
“Yeah. But the first one is a baseball movie.” You told him.
“What the fuck?” He whispered.
“You’d understand it if you saw them.” You shrugged.
“I don’t think I would.” He said skeptically.
“I also don’t think you would.” You realized. “But you’d finally understand why I call you my “monkey man” sometimes.”
“That’s a Twilight reference?” He gasped.
“Yeah. A lot of things I say are Twilight references.” You chuckled.
“Well if my darling loves them that much, I might have to give them a chance.” Tom smiled as he leaned in to kiss him.
“Mmm.” You hummed against his lips. “You wanna watch 10 hours of Twilight with me?”
“Absolutely not.” Tom laughed against your mouth. He slowly laid you down on the couch as he hovered on top of you, never break the kiss. The kiss got more heated as you gripped his shirt while his hands slid down to your pants. As his hangs found your zipper, you realized something terrifying.
“Oh no.” You gulped.
“Whats wrong?” Tom wondered as he pulled away.
“Um...” you gulped and looked down at your lap. “You’re not gonna want to do that.”
“Why?” Tom raised an eyebrow, eyes darting down to your zipper skeptically.
“Daya sent me underwear a while ago.” You began. “Um, special underwear.”
“Did she?” Tom smirked as he tugged the zipper down.
“Not that kind of special.” You quickly moved his hand. “It um, it has a slogan on it.”
“Okay?” Tom said slowly.
“You’re not gonna like it.” You told him, only making his curiosity grow. Tom looked at you curiously before tugging your pants down. You covered your face with your hands as he gasped in horror.
“Team Edward?” He yelled. “Your underwear says Team Edward?”
“It was all I had!” You protested as you tugged your pants back up.
“You’re telling me you happened to be wearing these the day you come to visit Rob on set?” Tom pointed an accusing finger at you.
“What are you implying?” You asked as you swatted his hand away. Tom ran his hands through his hair and gave it a stressful tug. He didn’t want to take his insecurity out on you, but the underwear had crossed a line.
“Did you think something was gonna happen between you guys?” He mumbled without looking at you.
“What?” You laughed in shock. “Do you seriously think I woke up this morning and thought “hm, might fuck Robert Pattinson today. Let me make sure I put on my underwear that references a character of his from ten years ago!””
“I don’t know!” He whined. “I can’t believe you’re wearing those.”
“I didn’t mean anything by it.” You laughed as he stormed out of the room. “Tommy, come back.”
“Why are you laughing?” He pouted, face still red from jealousy.
“Because you’re upset over my underwear.” You tried to hold back your laughter. “You know, you could solve this problem by taking them off.”
“No.” He stamped his foot. “You don’t want me. You want you Edgar Curtain and his killer vampire penis.”
“It’s Edward Cullen.” You corrected. “And yes, I do want that.”
“Oh my God.” Tom rubbed his face, making you laugh again.
“Edward would never treat me this way.” You teased. “He would have sex with me and then get scared that he hurt me so he just plays chess with me the rest of our honeymoon.”
“Would he now?” Tom seethed.
“Tommy, please calm down.” You chuckled as you cupped his face. “It’s just an unfortunate coincidence that I was wearing these. I promise, you don’t have anything to worry about. You’re the only one I want.”
“Really?” He asked skeptically as you stroked his cheek with your thumb.
“What can I say?” You smirked. “I’m Team Tom.”
Goodbye forever..
Pairing: Natasha x Wanda x Reader
Warning: Language, fluff, little bit of angst :3
Summary: First time visiting a place and being left by your brother, Thor for safety, falling into hands of Natasha and Wanda, will they help you adapt?
Word count: 4.1k
My requests are always open so feel more than welcome to pop in a suggestion for the next story :3
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
"Asgard is in danger at the moment so I had to bring her down here Stark" Thor explained as you stood not far from him as you looked around.
"That's not what I'm saying, she doesn't know anything here and I can't babysit her, I am a busy man if you haven't noticed" Tony raised his concerns.
"I'm not asking you to babysit her, all I need is for to stay here until Asgard is clear from whatever is putting it in danger" Thor had that charm at convincing people to what he wants, which was working on Tony.
"What if she leaves or something? Or accidently hurts someone with her powers, she's still young and doesn't know her full strength" Tony was sitting down as he slowly started to crack, but there were doubts.
Thor looked back at you as you stared at the one of the tools that were laying around "She is young but she has been trained by me and Loki but if you're still worried, Wanda knows how to control her powers so she can train her and just keep an eye out. She is the strongest so she can easily over power her"
There was a moment of silence as Tony thought "Okay, I will brief Wanda about this"
Thor smiled widely as he was quick to give the rather smaller man a hug "I will be back as soon as possible"
Tony nodded with a small smile himself as he asked for Wanda, Thor turned towards you and took couple steps towards you which caught your attention "Y/n"
You looked at him with a smile "Brother"
"You'll be staying here for now until I came back from Asgard" He place his hand on your shoulder.
"I could help you fight in Asgard, you don't need to leave me here" Convincing Thor was a lot more harder than anyone really thought.
"We already spoke about this Y/n and you know my answer to that, I will try to visit but until then I'm ordering you to stay here and you can't leave" Thor stood straight as he slightly tensed when this was mentioned again.
You nodded, it's not like you had a choice and he nodded back "Good" Just in time Wanda walked in as she saw Thor since he was blocking you from her view, he turned with a smile at her sight, to which Tony walked out.
He hugged you "They will take care of you don't worry"
You nodded once again as you let a tear slide down your cheek, this was a big change, you didn't know anyone here and you was slightly afraid but only slightly.
He moved to the side to which now Wanda had a full view on you "Wanda, that's Y/n, you'll be training her. They will brief you now I have to go" Tony explained as he walked out.
Wanda raised her eyebrows at Tony but her gaze shifted to you and Thor to which she took couple steps, Thor rolled his eyes at Tony "Well anyways, this is Y/n as Tony said, she will be staying here for some time before I came back so I just need you to keep an eye out and keep her out of trouble so Tony doesn't try to kill me"
Wanda nodded as she smiled at you "Okay, that's not a problem, If I understood from what Tony said I will be training her?"
He nodded "Yes, she has powers even though she has them under control but just in case, just give her some tips or something"
Wanda wanted to know why you were here but she didn't want to cross any lines, she will find out if you tell her and that's what she will stick to.
"Well I have to go.." He stated as he awkwardly waited for Wanda to stop staring at you.
"Okay, I will show her around then" Wanda looked at Thor with a smile as he nodded, he gave you the last hug and walked off.
You followed Wanda around as she showed you everything, your room, meeting room, party room, training room, anything that she knew of, the last was the living room where most of the team was.
No one knew you were Thor's sister and you didn't know they didn't know so you just went along with it, as soon as you walked into the living room, the TV caught your attention.
Wanda stood near the kitchen as she faced you "Well this is the living room where the team usually relaxes after missions"
"And there is the kitchen to make food, usually I cook since they can barely make toast without burning it" She pointed towards the door that led to the kitchen.
You looked and smiled "Thank you, I think I understand everything now"
She nodded "Well if you have any questions, you can ask me"
This pulled the teams attention toward Wanda, their eyes landed on you and they quickly gathered around the two of you "Who is this?" Steve asked as he crossed his arms.
"This is Y/n, Thor brought her here from Asgard for the time being, so she will be staying with us" Wanda simply explained.
They all nodded and Wanda asked again "So Y/n do you have any questions?"
You nodded with a small smile "Yes, why are there people stuck in a box?"
Natasha frowned in confusion "People stuck in a box?"
You nodded as you pointed towards the TV "There, they seem to be frozen"
Natasha along with everyone looked over to see what you were talking about, Natasha tried her best to keep her chuckle in as she looked back at you "It's a TV, this is already recorded so we are just watching back"
Your lips turned into a perfect O shape as you nodded "Oh that's definitely new"
Sam held his face as he stared at you "You don't have TV's in Asgard?!"
You shook your head "That is not a thing, no. We have advanced technology there"
"Well, besides that I'm Steve" He reached his hand out for you, you looked at Wanda a little clueless to which she giggled slightly and showed you what to do.
You smiled widely at the hand shake, and then moved to Sam and Bucky and Bruce, they all shook your hand but when it came to Natasha, you leaned down and kiss her hand as she introduced herself.
They all stared at you with shock, Natasha didn't pull away which was more of a shock for the team, you turned back as you looked at the team "Is this not normal for people to do?"
They shook their head with awkward smiles "Not really, unless you're are rich and you're looking for a business deal"
You nodded slowly and looked over at Wanda "Don't worry I will teach you everything"
You gave a quick nod as you excused yourself to go back to your room, to which the team went back to watching the movie but Natasha lingered near Wanda.
"What is it Natasha?" Wanda asked as she knew it was her.
"Do you mind me tagging along?" The redhead didn't waste any time.
Wanda looked at her with her brows raised "Really? But why?"
She shrugged "I have nothing else to do"
Wanda tilted her head "Didn't you just tell the team you were overloaded with mission reports?"
"Well they aren't interesting unlike our new female recruitment" Natasha leaned on a door frame as a small smirk made it's way to her lips.
"Yeah okay, it will be easier with another person around" Wanda nodded to agree and started to prepare things to cook.
⸻⸻⋙☸🗲⋘⸻⸻
For few weeks, Natasha and Wanda trained and taught you how to be more human, which you really appreciated. It wasn't as bad as you thought this stay would be, you grew fond of the two women quite quickly.
The witch and the former assassin felt the same, well they were more aware of what those feelings were but for you it was a lot more harder to understand why you wanted to spend more time with them than the rest of the group.
The two women started to fall in love with you and each time it was harder to hide. The team had their suspicions to which they were confirmed each time.
There was this one time...
"Okay, we need to somehow get some clothes for Y/n" Tony stated as he tried to think of a loophole.
You was standing in front of him, being quiet and just waiting for them to come up with a solution, your attention shifted to Steve "We can always just go shopping with Y/n"
Bucky raised his brows at Steve "As if you know anything about women's fashion"
Steve frowned "I rather think of myself as an expert"
Sam laughed "Yeah an expert in messing up, she would look like fashion show gone wrong"
Tony even manged to crack a smile at the comment "Sorry Steve but no"
Steve dramatically huffed "You guys are so mean, you need to give me a chance"
A voice spoke up from behind them "Give you a chance for what Steve?"
You turned around at the familiar voice, as you saw Wanda and Natasha walk in, a smile spread across your lips at the sight of them and you waved at them and quickly going back to your serious face after they wave back.
"It seems like Steve wants to buy me clothes" You spoke up for the first time since you was called in her.
"That's a terrible idea" Natasha spoke up this time as she walked past Steve with Wanda and stood next to you.
"Thanks for the support Romanoff" Steve sounded offended at the comment, earning a laugh from Wanda.
"You know what, just leave it up to us Tony, we will take care of this little issue" Wanda proposed the idea to which Tony quickly agreed and went on with his little project.
And so Wanda and Natasha snuck you out and went on a shopping spree to find you better clothes. You looked like you were from the medieval rather than from this century so a new wardrobe was in desperate need.
You ended up buying a lot of clothes and decided to explore a bit before coming back, you had like 10 bags in one hand and it was still light to you, it was pretty impressive and definitely Natasha with Wanda admired the way your muscles would flex.
The amount of dirty jokes Natasha had to swallow down, Wanda didn't even need to look into her mind, she was thinking the same thing.
You stopped abruptly as you looked at the creature before you "Stay behind I will protect both of you"
Natasha nearly bumped into you to which she peeked to see what you were talking about "Protect from what Y/n?"
"That creature" You narrowed at the dog that was walking lazily with it tongue out.
Wanda looked at Natasha with a smile at how cute you were with your knowledge "It's a dog, not a creature Y/n/n"
You looked over at Wanda "A dog? It wont try to attack us?"
She shook her head with a smile, she pulled the woman's attention who was walking the dog "Sorry, do you think my friend can pet your cute dog?"
The woman was quick to agree with a big smile across her lips, Natasha kneeled down and you followed her lead, she placed her hand over yours, you felt goose bumps at the contact and she placed your hand on the dogs head.
"See, it just loves pets" Natasha spoke softly to you as she watched your reaction.
You were sceptic at first but gently petted the little dog, a smile slowly appeared across your lips as you looked over to Natasha, inches away from her face, if heart eyes were real Natasha would definitely have them in that moment.
"It's harmless.." You stated out practically with disbelief.
Wanda smiled as she placed her hand on your shoulder, she felt her heart melt at the scene in front of her "Okay, let's go and grab something to eat"
You looked at the woman in front of you and thanked her politely "She really trained that creature very well"
"Why do you call it a creature?" Wanda asked curiously as she linked her arm with yours and so did Natasha.
"Well in Asgard we have Fenris Wolf, they are a lot bigger but very violent and it did look like Fenris so I was worried it would try to hurt you both"
They were melting, the way you felt like you had to protect them from a Fenris Wolf and put yourself in danger first, it was adorable and there was slight worry in your tone.
"Well" Wanda spoke with a huge smile "Thank you for worrying"
You smiled back and looked between the two women who were on either of your side "You shouldn't thank me, ladies should be treated like treasure"
An innocently precious look settled across the two women's faces at your words, their eyes filled with adoration and love, you were perfect and that's what they loved about you.
Or this time...
You had woke up pretty early, having your mind set to preparing breakfast for the two redheads, you wanted to do something nice for how they both took care of you and always made sure that you felt a little bit less loner here.
You knew how to cook but it was a little difficult to make anything here with earth ingredients, that didn't mean you would give up, you make sure Natasha and Wanda taught you how to use something called internet, you managed to search up videos and taught yourself how to make food.
With a smile at your success, you delivered your food to their beds, Natasha and Wanda shared a room together which made it a lot easier to give them your hard worked breakfast.
You memorized the way they did their coffee and quietly walked inside their bedroom, with food and coffee in hand. You placed it down as you slowly started to wake the women in bed.
Wanda was quicker to wake up, she sat up as she stared at you "What is wrong Y/n/n?"
Natasha slowly stirred as she opened one eye and looked at you and half awake Wanda, she never was a morning person so she groaned at being woken up.
"I have made food for my two favourite ladies" You stated simple with a innocent smile.
Wanda rubbed her eyes and finally was able to take in the smell and the sight of the food, it was waffles with blueberries and whipped cream, it was both of their favourite.
She looked at you again "Thank you Y/n/n"
She looked over at Natasha who had a smile but her eyes were shut "Yeah thank you Y/n I really appreciate food in bed"
"You welcome Lady Natasha"
Wanda giggled at how you called her "You didn't have to do this"
You stood up as you walked over to the food and give Wanda her plate and Natasha as well "Nonsense, I will be forever grateful how yous have treated me, with most care and respect so I shall give back something as well"
Natasha smirked "You should definitely feed me if you want to give back something"
Wanda raised her brows at Natasha's comment to which you proceed at her command "Anything you wish for Lady Natasha"
Natasha chuckled as she waved her hand to dismiss you "I was joking Y/n but I appreciate your dedication"
"You are most certainly welcome" You bowed down in front of them, earning nods and slight giggles.
This was just a pure moment between the three of you, something that the redheads treasured and adored, it was those moments that made them realise how important you had become to their simple lives, you bright them up and surprise them each time which was new compared to the boring days on earth.
If we were to go through all of the times, we would be here for days, but the point has been made to why the team had their suspicions.
Weeks turned into months and you definitely was better and had a better grasp on your powers, you learnt their language properly and slang which made expressing a lot more easier.
The only thing you struggled was your feelings, asking was a lot more complicated since you didn't quite understand what you should even ask, you wanted to just be with them and when you learnt about something called kissing, it never left your mind.
To understand it better you searched everything they had on kissing on the internet, realising it's something you wanted to do, something you wanted to experience with Wanda and Natasha.
So now that you understood that, you were determent to ask about it to Wanda and Natasha, making your way towards the meeting room where they were.
You opened the door and almost immediately they looked up at you "Y/n/n what brings you here"
You felt hot just at them looking at you "Lady Natasha, Lady Wanda" You bowed as you always did.
Natasha noticed your nervous to which she stood up and Wanda followed, she walked over to you with a soft smile "Why are you nervous Y/n?"
You smiled nervously at her "I wanted to talk"
Wanda followed right after with a soft smile just like Natasha's "What do you want to talk about Darling" They slightly trapped you in between them which you didn't mind at all.
You took a deep breath and just as words were about to leave your mouth, a familiar voice to you spoke up but to the redheads it was unknown "There you are Y/n"
You turned to face the voice as Natasha took a step in front of you along with Wanda, her hands ready to fire away with red mist, what took them off guard was your question "Sister Hela?"
They looked back at you with shocked faces, the tall woman stood in the same place but just opened her arms for you, to which you gladly took, you hugged her.
Living on earth for long and having company made you forget that Asgard even existed in the first place "What are you doing here?"
"I will get to that in a second, right now I want to know why these two trapped you?" The protective sister was activated as she death stared the two women in front of her.
You pulled away from Hela as you looked in the direction of the two redheads "They didn't trap me, they are cool don't worry"
"Cool?" Hela questioned as she raised her brows at you "Is this the language they teach on earth?"
She shook her head "I knew your brother did a mistake taking you here"
Natasha crossed her arms "I'm sorry but who are you?"
She looked with no emotions at Natasha "Hela Goddess of death?"
"Doesn't ring a bell" Natasha spat out with a cold glare.
"Thor's sister?" She answered but more in a question tone.
Wanda looked from you to Hela as realisation hit her "If you are Thor's sister... And Y/n is your younger sister.. That means Thor is Y/n's brother"
You nodded simply "Yes, I thought everyone knew"
Wanda facepalmed herself "Of course! That's why you were so clueless of everything on earth and your powers! You are a goddess"
Wanda looked up at you with the most huge smile anyone had witnesses, she was impressed and surprised at her discovery, Natasha spoke up with a smile "Damn she's more badass than we thought"
"Well, this interaction seems nice but I'm here because it's safe to come back to Asgard, Thor sent me to fetch you" Hela cut in before this can go any further.
You looked at Hela "Asgard is safe?"
She nodded with a smile "Yes, you can come back home"
Those smiles that were on the redheads lips, fell almost instantly at Hela's words. They didn't want to lose you, there was an obvious pain in their hearts at this news but they decided to stay strong.
You nodded at her "Is brother Thor here?"
"Yes, I believe he is talking with some people inside, so now let's go so you can say your goodbyes with everyone" She spoke up as she placed her hand on your shoulder.
"Okay sister" You agreed as you looked over at Natasha and Wanda.
"We are right behind you Y/n/n" Wanda spoke up through the pain in her throat, she was going to break and she didn't want you to see.
You nodded and your sister led you towards the rest of the people, you hugged Thor as you commented "Nice haircut, I really like it"
He laughed "Thank you Y/n, the long hair was really hard to fight with"
You nodded and pulled away, so you started off by saying goodbye to everyone, they had grown pretty attached to you and your weird outbursts, they grown to love you as you and your food.
The last two people that were left were Natasha and Wanda, you walked over to them. You wished you had realised what you felt towards them and acted on it before you had to come back.
They both hugged you, each face on your shoulders as you whispered "I wish I could stay more but it isn't my choice"
Natasha had a sad smile as she whispered back "Everyone has a choice детка (baby)"
You pulled away and looked at Wanda who let tears finally slide down her face, you wiped it with your thumb as you looked into her eyes "I will miss yous"
Wanda nodded as she chocked out "We will miss you too, make sure to visit more often"
You nodded and finally returned next to your brother and sister, you couldn't stop your heart practically breaking at the sight of Wanda's eyes looking like a waterfall, whilst Natasha tried to act strong.
It felt like everything was muted until Thor spoke up "Have you gathered everything important Y/n?"
You looked up at him, in this moment you knew what to do "No"
He tilted his head "Well then go bring that important thing to take with us"
"It's impossible" You stated.
"How so?"
You looked over at Hela who had a proud smile across her lips "Are you sure Y/n?"
You nodded as you wiped a tear from your cheek "Okay, what's happening that I don't know off"
"Forgive me brother but I will not go to Asgard because I'm not leaving what's important to me" You spoke up with more confidence.
There was a gasp from practically everyone in the room but you only heard Wanda's "I am staying here because this has became my home when you left"
You looked back at the two redheads "I don't want to leave them because they are important to me and I think I might have feelings for them"
Thor had a smile across his face so when you finally looked back at him, he spoke "Okay Y/n, I'm glad you are able to decide for yourself and what you need"
His gaze shifted to the Russian and the Sokovian "I'm glad you found a home in these two"
You looked back with a smile as you made your way towards them and finally blurred out "I want to kiss yous"
Wanda giggled whole heartedly as your outburst as Natasha giggled with her brows raised perfectly "Are you sure?"
"You said everyone has a choice, so I chose to want to kiss the both of you" You said in one sentence so nervously to which Natasha proudly smiled and pulled you into her face, kissing you and you kissed her back gently, just like you were.
You pulled away and instantly Wanda collided her lips with yours, guiding you and preventing herself from deepening the kiss in front of everyone, she pulls away, leaving you wanting more, just like whenever you would spend your time with them.
"Okay okay, enough" Hela spoke up with slight disgust in her voice, causing the three of you to look over and turn the whole room into giggles.
"But I swear if my little sister ends up heartbroken, I will haunt you two redheads to the rest of your life" There was seriousness in Hela's tone and they both respectfully nodded, acknowledging Hela's words.
This time you were saying goodbye, not to the people you met here but to your previous life and welcoming the new beginning with open arms....
Aaa congrats on 666 :D you've been one of my favorite obey me blogs since I joined the fandom! can I request the brothers with an mc that looks/acts like they just walked out of a zombie apocalypse? Turns out that while the demons werent looking, things in the human realm went down hill ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
👀 I love this! Sorry this took so long! I hope you enjoy!
Lucifer
When Solomon popped down into the Devildom earlier, Lucifer had noticed that the sorcerer looked a tad… concerned. After he left, Lucifer thought nothing of it until the second human exchange student appeared brandishing a gun and looking like they hadn’t showered in eight days.
After managing to disarm the human and avoiding the baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, Lucifer managed to explain exactly why the human was in the Devildom and what was going on. In return, the human calmed down and explained what was going on in the human world.
…geez, shit really hit the fan. Uh… Lucifer wished them luck in their exchange year and foisted them off on Mammon. Lucifer was not about to deal with that right then.
(Apparently one of Solomon’s necromancing acquaintances had something to do with the mini apocalypse going on in the human world. Lucifer and MC were assured that the zombie problem was being dealt with)
As confused and annoyed as Lucifer was at first, he quickly became glad that the human had some kind of self defence on them. The Devildom was a dangerous place, and the human could nullify some of that danger by popping a bullet or twelve into some idiots’ heads.
But one of MC’s more annoying habits were their tendency to set traps and hoard food. They didn’t seem to grasp that lack of food wasn’t an issue and that there were plenty of spells in place to make sure-
Okay, Beel just raided the fridge. Maybe MC had the right idea. Up for sharing some spaghetti-o’s?
Mammon
Now listen here! The Great and Amazing and Mega-Sexy Mammon wasn’t scared of the human at all! Got it?! Good. He wasn’t scared of how dishevelled and dirty they were and how they looked like they just crawled out of a horror movie! Not at all! He also wasn’t scared of the baseball bat they threatened to hit him with if he continued to spout threats of eating them.
Pff, he wasn’t scared… totally not scared… *ahem*
Once the human took a bath and stopped pointing their various weapons at him, Mammon quickly began to warm up to the human in their own tsundere kind of way. Fine, he could admit that MC was kinda cool.
The one thing that Mammon just couldn’t deal with was MC’s traps… he kept setting them off while trying to get into MC’s room!
Oi! Don’t look at him like that! He wasn’t tryin’ to steal anything! He also wasn’t goin’ in there to hang out with the dumb human either! Wasn’t goin’ in there to check on em’ and make sure they were comfortable…
Mammon is also #2 in terms of food theft in the house. He just spotted ramen and decided that possibly getting hit with MC’s baseball bat of pain was worth getting his greedy little mitts on some dollar store noodles.
Leviathan
When Levi went downstairs to threaten Mammon for his money back, Levi immediately recoiled at the absolutely fowl smell coming from the human. Ew, normie stink was getting all over him! And why did they look like they just walked out of TellTale’s The Walking Dead?
Once MC explained their situation, Levi took it upon himself to mansplain the zombie apocalypse to the poor human that was going through it. He had played plenty of zombie survival games and he was surely the expert-
AAKSJAKAJANA- PUT THE BAT DOWN! HE’LL SHUT UP! HE’LL SHUT UP!
After that was over and done with, Levi decided it would be his job to reintroduce MC to some quality entertainment. There couldn’t be that many good shows to watch in the apocalypse, so MC (starved for entertainment) agreed to watch whatever Levi wanted.
Food hoarding? Been there done that. Levi keeps at least ten boxes of Pocky in his room at all times, and a crap ton of other snack foods too. That habit doesn’t phase Levi.
The traps on the other hand? HELL YES TEACH HIM MC! THAT’LL WARD OFF SOME SCUMMY MORONS! *insert Levi cackle here*
Satan
Satan was amongst the people who had the privilege of getting a gun pointed at them on the first day of the exchange program. He kept his fake little smile on his face, but he sure as hell wasn’t too pleased with the human.
He kept his distance at first, studying MC from afar and taking note of their weird little habits. Satan found it quite interesting how quickly this seemingly average human adapted to their new circumstances.
After the body switching incident and the murder train incident, Satan developed a fondness for MC. But… maybe MC shouldn’t have brought their weapons with them on one of their hangout sessions with Satan.
It was on that day that MC learned that Satan was as good a shot with a gun as they were… Rest in Pieces to the idiot that decided fucking with the Avatar of Wrath would be a good idea.
The traps… oh yes the traps… that exact skill set transferred perfectly to pranks! Oh if MC would be so kind as to let Satan teach them the way of the bastard (tm) so the two of them could annoy that pompous peacock together?
Asmodeus
Ewwwww! What was that awful stench coming from the- EWWWWW! Why was the human so gross and dirty! Someone get the hose! They summoned a feral one!
Asmo was less concerned with the fact that the human was threatening everyone with an actual weapon and more concerned with how they smelled like a month old macaroni salad.
MC got a bottle of admittedly pleasant smelling soap thrown at them before Mammon dragged them off to the HOL.
Despite the nasty first impression, once MC took a much needed bath and washed all that gross grime off of themselves… they were honestly really hot… man, apocalypses should happen more often if they produce babes like MC~ *eyebrow wiggle*
Though, the poor human still needed some work, Asmo declared himself their fairy goddaddy (I regret ever learning how to type) and took every opportunity to make sure MC looked their best and took care of themselves.
MC’s odd habits don’t exactly phase Asmo much, I mean, look at who he lives with.
Beelzebub
…he doesn’t wanna eat this human.
Listen, Beel will eat anything, but if he has other options, he’s not eating the gross dirty human pointing a gun at him.
At first, Beel’s pretty neutral towards anything and everything MC ends up doing. They barricaded themselves in their room to keep safe out of habit? Okay. They scarily polish and clean their weapons out in the middle of the living room? So does Satan on occasion. They cleared out the fridge- wait they cleared out the fridge?
BEEL WAS GOING TO DO THAT! PREPARE TO BE EATEN, HUMAN!
MC miraculously survived a hungry Beel attack by chucking food at him until he calmed back down. Beel felt a little bad for scaring them, but anyone with more than five brain cells should know not to steal food from the Avatar of Gluttony.
Anyway, once the two get closer, Beel’s always there for a hug and comfort if MC needs it. Just don’t let him near the food hoard. He will reduce it to nothing in less than an hour.
More than 90% of the traps that get set off are set off by Beel trying to get into MC’s room for food.
Belphegor
Father Dammit, Belphie wanted a nice easy defenceless human to murder, not this Rambo-lookalike. Whatever, sure the human looked tough, but Belphie’s a demon.
Well… Belphegor’s plan went to shit when he was in the middle of choking the human, who pulled out a gun and nearly shot him in the eye. He ended up dropping them in surprise when the bullet grazed his face and ended up getting MC’s boot planted into his forehead.
Yeah… Belphie did not fare well. MC: 1 Belphie: 0
After that nonsense, Belphie demanded begged that MC become his full time nap guardian. They were scary and could protect him, the totally defenceless war criminal 🥺, come on MC, don’t be heartless!
Similar to Asmo, Belphie isn’t too phased by MC’s weird habits. As long as they don’t try and steal his pillows, he’s okay. Those traps though… perfect for a certain older brother of his…
He joins in on Satan’s crusade to get MC to join the Anti Lucifer League. Puh-LEEEEEEEAAAAAASE MC?
Even when Harry was little, he’d known he’d have an odd path in life. Just because it was odd, didn’t mean it’d be bad, but it would make him absolutely stand out in the crowd.        When Y/N was young she didn’t see herself having any extraordinary adventures. Sure, she’d travel and explore the world with its secrets, but she didn’t have any plans to draw the attention of the masses. That was until Harry’d come into her life.        They were both young, still kids in that tender age where childhood crossed into teenage years, when they met. For Harry, it was like one of those scenes in the movies where the pretty girl walks into a room and a billion fans make her hair look like the wind is sweeping through it, and her eyes glisten like gemstones. Also known as the 'love at first sight' scene.        For Y/N, it was hard to keep her breakfast down as she walked inside the classroom, twenty pairs of scrutinous eyes on her, trying to figure out if the new girl was a predator or prey.        Luckily for Y/N, the biology teacher wasn’t a total witch and didn’t make her present herself to the class, and just pointed to the free seat next to a curly-haired boy. Luckily for Harry, that free seat was right next to him.        With a sigh, she dropped her heavy backpack beside the chair, giving the boy a shy glance, and was surprised to see a genuine and large grin right back at her. It wasn’t the kind people gave when they had bad thoughts. It was the kind people gave when they were truly excited and wanted to give a good impression. Y/N’s chest grew warm at the thought she might actually make a friend that day. And she did.        “I’m Harry.” He extended his hand for her to take, the grin never leaving his face.        She gave him a big, relieved smile. “I’m Y/N.”        Ever since then they were not only lab partners in classes they shared (which was biology, physics and math), but also in mischief. Together they managed to enrage Anne, annoy Gemma and absolutely horrify Y/M/N, and whenever one went down, the other made sure to go down as well.        So when a few years down the line, Harry had told Y/N about his idea to audition for X-factor she wasn’t surprised one bit.        “I mean, as long as you don’t trip and break your nose on stage, you’ll be fine.”        For that, she received a slap on her arm from him.        “I’m just saying!” Y/N defended herself. “You’re great at singing, Mrs Aberdeen certainly thinks so, you don’t have two complete left feet, and you’re alright to look at.”        That for the first time since the decision and application had been submitted, made Harry smile. He loved how easily Y/N was able to lighten the mood, to take his thoughts away from the bad, and just erase them with her wit and smile.
       “Besides.” She nudged his shoulder with hers and then intertwined their fingers. “I, Gem and our Mums will be right there for you. Won’t even blink until the end of the performance.”        With how her insides trembled in excitement and fear for her best friend, it truly seemed to Y/N she hadn’t blinked at all on that fateful day. Her breath hitched when the judges were talking. She couldn’t even remember what they said, all of it turning into white noise.        And then he got through, and Y/N screamed so much she was sure she’d blown out Anne’s eardrums, and had hugged Harry so tightly she was afraid she’d broken a rib. But with his victory also came a fear, because, for the first time in Y/N’s life, she was terrified as to where she’d stand in Harry’s. Since day one it’d been secure, but now, with the newfound fame of X-factor and who knows what kind of an amazing future, she didn’t know if he’d throw her to the curb, simply forget about the mundane friend from high school or maybe use her for something.        But it wasn’t like that. Not one bit. After insane hours of rehearsals, Y/N was one of the three people he always called. It was her, his Mum and Gem. Always. And he loved to listen to her speaking of what was happening at school, how the lessons were, which teacher turned out to be hooking up with which. As much as Harry knew he was made for the extraordinary, he loved the ordinary Y/N brought in his life. She was his safe harbour. But what he never agreed with were her own thoughts she was meant for a simple life, so he took it upon himself to bring a little bit of eccentricity in hers, as he explained how he’d gotten united into a band with four other boys, now going by ‘One Direction’, and it was his mission to join his newfound friends with the most important friend he'd had.        “This is Y/N,” Harry introduced her to the guys after one of their late-night practices, one where they weren’t being filmed. “If you do anything that even mildly upsets her, I’ll kill you in your sleep.”        The slap against his arm made him let out an ‘Ow!’ while the rest of the boys laughed and welcomed her with open arms.        In a weird way, Y/N became part of the band. She didn’t sing or play any instruments, but she was always around, gave her input on songs and setlists. That kind of closeness made all of the fears and doubts about losing a place in Harry’s life disappear. She was his personal hype-man while at the same time knocked him down a few pegs whenever the fame started to get to his head.        She was there for his highs and lows, for the break-ups and break-off in the band, and watched as he ventured into a solo career as much as she could with school and all, but when summer break rolled around it was like Harry couldn't get rid of her even if he tried. Not that he wanted. Sharing the success and happiness with his best friend was one of the biggest rewards he could have.        And Y/N would never admit it because it’d boost Harry’s already elephant-like ego, at least that’s what she said, but she kind of liked the attention she received because of him, especially because most of it was pleasant.        Had she been terrified that being known as Harry Styles best friend would make people think she was just a gold-digger, seeking fame and leeching it off from him? Yes. And there were people like that. But ninety-five percent of what people said on her social media accounts was actually nice, some even said ‘thank you’ that there was a person like her in Harry’s life to keep things real, and most importantly – cared about him through it all.        Harry also saw those comments; he loved to read about how people saw just how much Y/N cared, and it kind of stirred something in him. He didn’t know when exactly, but it was around the age of twenty-four for him and twenty-three for Y/N when he started looking at his friend in a different light. And it bloody terrified him. He didn’t know if she felt the same, and the thought of putting his heart on the line like that only for the possibility of it being crushed was the scariest thing ever.        He did, however, have an inclination as to what incident had prompted them to surface. The feelings that were. It was a night after a party. Y/N was on winter break from her master’s at uni, which meant he used every opportunity to spend time with her.        The hangover was real, I mean it’s what you got by mixing vodka, tequila and beer into an empty Sprite bottle and chugging it. Harry stumbled over sleeping bodies on his way to the kitchen in search for some leftover pizza he was sure he and Y/N in their drunkenness had ordered, as well as to make two cups of black coffee. He knew she hated the taste, but cold junk food and bitter coffee always did the trick with her. That was when he’d found her.        Although he’d woken up in Y/N’s room, she hadn’t been next to him. Instead, as it turned out, she’d gone on a food search sometime before him and had passed out on the couch, a Cookie Monster onesie on her body, but most importantly his signature pearls around her neck. And one of her hands even rested against her collarbone, as if scared someone would take them away from her.        That’d been the first time his heart had flipped in his chest at the sight of her, but most definitely not the last.        He did however keep this change in his emotions to himself. He wasn’t really sure what it was, so it would be unfair to dump that on Y/N and have her figure it out for him because he didn’t know where she stood on her own, let alone do the work for him.        Luckily, despite the tornado of feelings, their friendship didn’t falter, and when his Vogue cover came out, he was incredibly nervous for people to see it, but especially for those who mattered the most to him, like his Mum, sister and Y/N. Especially Y/N, for her opinion had become the most important one outside his blood relatives. After all, all his thoughts went to – if we dated, would she be as proud of me as she was of me as a friend?        Her support meant the most because he was away in the middle of filming; he had no way of getting physical comfort, so all of the messages, calls, social media posts and FaceTimes was the world to him, especially when Y/N sent a picture of herself with three copies of the magazine, two beside her head as she laid on her bed and one clutched to her chest, which she also posted on Instagram with the caption ‘Can’t hug you for real right now, so this will have to do. When I do get to you @harrystyles, I’ll crush your ribs with my love. And that is a threat.’        Then the comments came in from the rest, and one stood out more than the others.        Bring Back Manly Men.        At first, he felt odd about it. It didn’t really bother him, but at the same time, it made him sad. He knew that he was seen as somewhat of a controversial figure, as he painted nails, wore frilly blouses and now full-on dresses, which were all typically categorized as feminine things, but he never understood why a nail colour or the shape of a shirt suddenly became exclusively for just one gender. Which is why he was so grateful to have Y/N in his life.        “I mean, anatomically speaking, men should be wearing dresses and women trousers. It’s you who have all the dangly bits,” she said through a bite of food. “The Scots have been onto it since the beginning.”        Harry threw his head back in a laugh, shifting an arm behind his head. “So I assume your favourite pic is the one in the kilt?”        “Well, it did remind me of that awful punk phase I had back in school with all those safety pins, only in a more tasteful way, but no. My favourite one is you in that brown, grey off-shoulder jacket thing.”        “Why?”        Y/N wiggled her brows at him. “Shows enough of your cleavage but leaves enough for imagination.”        “Of fucking course.” Harry snorted, shaking his head. “Objectifying much?”        “What? I’m not going to deny that my best friend is a sexy beast.”        He wouldn’t say it out loud, but when she called him her friend, it made his heart clench in a painful way. Harry had been trying to be a bit flirtier around her, but given his open nature as it was, Y/N hadn’t seemed to notice it, nor had she seemed to notice how he looked at her while she was frowning at her computer screen.        Harry’d had relationships with some women who could be considered the most beautiful in the world, but if he’d had to say, in his opinion, who’d receive that title, it’d be Y/N. The way she snorted when she laughed too hard, the way small crow lines had already appeared next to her eyes from how much she smiled and the way her forehead creased when she was concentrating. It enthralled him to no end. He could read her life’s story on her face, how she’d lived and thought and experienced, unlike so many people he met who couldn’t move a muscle.        Though the reason she was so concentrated in that moment was because thousands of people had tagged her in a tweet of a woman, she’d heard of for the first time in her life (because Harry had been trying to keep that one off her radar), and what she saw made all the blood boil in her body more than any other hate comment had.        Without hesitation, Y/N atted her and tweeted “Bring back manly men. Please! Millions of people would let him raw them WHILE WEARING THE DRESS. I mean you tried, so I’ll give you the gold star you so desperately want, but that was pathetic.”        At that same moment, a notification popped up on the screen of Harry’s phone. He only had notifications on for one person, and when he saw what was written, he gasped, looking at Y/N. “You did not just do that!”        “What?” Y/N shrugged biting down on the chocolate bar she’d been savouring for the last half hour of their conversation. “I just said what everyone was thinking. Besides what the fuck does ‘bring back manly men’ even mean? Go chop some wood? Fight a bear in the Siberian woods? Have your ‘friends’ stab you to death at a political meeting?”        “You’re a menace.”        Y/N winked popping the last bit of the chocolate in her mouth. “Only to those who dare go for the people I love.”        His heart fluttered at the last word, but all he could do was mask it with a large grin and shake of his head.        For another hour they spent talking, Y/N kept hyping Harry up, tried to get as many plot details of the movie he was filming, while he avoided as many spoilers as possible and attempted to steer the conversation somewhere else, but when that happened, Y/N jumped onto his music, which he had told her all about. In fact, there wasn’t a music video made without her approval, and neither would his next one be. “You’ll fly out to see me film for ‘Treat People With Kindness’, right?”        Y/N sighed, giving him a sad smile. She hated disappointing Harry. “I’d love to. But you know with everything going on, I don’t think I’ll be able to.”        “Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be in it.”        She gasped, in real excitement. “Well, why didn’t you say so from the start?!”        “So that’s what this friendship has come to. I’m just your gateway to celebrities?”        “Harry you’ve always been just my gateway to the people living in LaLa Land.” But she let out a small breath much like she’d done before. “I really do want to come, Harry. You know that; I miss you like crazy. But Phoebe or no Phoebe, I don’t think I can.”        Harry bit his lip nodding, but he still needed to try one more time. “Is there anything I can say or do to get you here?”        “Get me a private jet and a quarantine mansion?”        “Deal.”        “Woah! Wait!” Y/N pretty much jumped up from her position in bed. “That was a joke! Harry Edward Styles, I swear to God, if you try an –“        But with a giant grin, he just blew Y/N a kiss and ended the call.        She was quite terrified if she was being honest, that Harry would do what she’d asked. He already had once. It'd been around Christmas time while she was still in First Year at uni, and she’d seen a glistening necklace at a jewellery store display. She hadn’t said anything, hadn’t even uttered a word, but just seeing the sparkle in Y/N’s eyes, was enough for Harry to make the decision and gift it for her.        When the next day, around five AM her time, she got a call from Harry’s manager Jeff, she was ready to rip both of them a new one, an e-mail with a plane ticket popping up in her inbox.        “I swear I’ll poison your drinks when I see you,” she’d grumbled, but couldn’t hide the excitement as she threw everything she could in the suitcase. “And no one will find your bodies, mark my words, Azoff.”        He snorted. “Yeah, tell that to the FBI agent listening in on this call.”        “Fuck. Gave myself away,” she said softly, giggling right after.        “You know he’s stoked beyond belief.” Jeff piped up. “He literally jumped out of the bed this morning, and during the dance rehearsals he didn’t miss a step.”        That made Y/N’s heart warm. “Well, you can tell him to curb it a bit. Otherwise, I’ll just stay at the fucking mansion – which, by the way, it was a joke, Jeff! I’m pissed enough he’s spending money on me as it is, let alone such a chunk on the plane, you didn't have to get me an actual mansion.”        “You know, for you, he’d give away all of it.”        “Yes, well, he might need it for his funeral, if he keeps spending it on me and on shit like this.”        The man shook his head but didn’t say anything else. He wasn’t the only one trying to drop hints to Y/N that Harry felt something more, but he’d leave it to the man himself. He didn’t need to possibly ruin everything, and have her decide not to come. His client was nightmare enough without her around, because Harry was like day and night when Y/N finally arrived on set for ‘Treat People With Kindness’.        To say he enveloped her in a hug would be an understatement as he didn’t let go of her for ten solid minutes, having grabbed her by the underside of the thighs and sat down on the ground just so he could prolong the feeling of being with Y/N.        The fact that she’d actually gone for it and hadn’t scolded Harry too much for spending that insane amount of money, for having brought a small piece of home to LA with herself where they were filming, made him now fully acknowledge the true extent of his feelings, especially as she didn’t pull away from their embrace, rather hid her face in the crook of his neck.        I mean, in the end, he did have to let her go because everyone had to get back to shooting, but not before Y/N had stripped the meticulous jacket from him, and went to have a glance at herself in the large mirror, one of the costume designers playing along and adjusting the clothing on her body, as if she was going to be the one performing.        Harry felt someone slide up to him and he looked over to his left, a smiling Phoebe standing there. She nudged his shoulder with hers. “You’re in love with her, aren’t you?”        He nodded, looking back over to where Y/N was still looking at herself in the mirror, wearing the heavy jacket as if it was nothing like it was made for her. “I’m a cliché, I know. But I can’t help it.”        “Of course, you can.” She squeezed his side. “All you gotta do is tell her.”        But it wasn’t that easy. Comparatively, getting Y/N to appear in the video was easier than coming to terms with the fact, all they’d ever remain would be friends if he didn’t do anything.        Yet the shoot for the video ended as quickly as it had started, and Y/N needed to fly back to the UK to defend her PhD paper, and Harry had to go back to filming ‘Don’t Worry Darling’, thousands of miles stretching between them once more. And Harry was a romantic, he couldn’t confess over FaceTime. Besides, he wanted to make it a special evening for her, plan something out, rather than risk a shitty connection cutting him off mid-word.        He hated it though. It’d been almost four years since Harry had realised his feelings had developed from just friendly into romantic, and still, he hadn’t said anything. Even the people who’d never met Y/N in person like Florence Pugh saw what was going on.        But unlike the cast and crew of ‘Treat People With Kindness’ who had to deal with his pining for maybe a couple of weeks, it’d been almost half a year for her at that point. Did she just want to call Y/N and tell her how Harry felt? Sure. She’d had enough of him coming into her trailer only to fall down onto her pillow and whine. But it wasn’t her place. So instead, she was going to figure out a way to get Y/N to the set and make him tell her himself.        Getting Harry’s phone away from him should’ve been the inspiration to the next ‘Mission Impossible’ script though, because it took her literally a whole day to fish it out from his coat's pocket, and she only had about ten seconds to find Y/N’s number (which wasn’t that hard given how it was the number with literally hundreds of calls next to it) and put it in her own phone.        Once their filming was done for the day, Florence rebutted Harry’s invitation to a movie night, saying a massive headache was coming on, so he wished her a good night and with slumped shoulders went to sulk on his own. Which is why she practically sprinted to her own trailer to finally call Y/N        An unsure ‘hello?’ greeted her ears before she responded. “Hey, this is Florence… Pugh.”        That stunned Y/N into silence for a few seconds before she spluttered out a greeting and said ‘hi’ as well. “Not to be rude, but how did you get my number?”        “Stole it from Harry’s phone. Look, he’s miserable. Keeps moping around, and I can’t take it anymore. Last night I found him crying in his pillow with your shirt over it.”        “What? Why?”        “Because it didn’t smell like you anymore.”        Y/N’s heart broke. “Why didn’t he tell me anything? We just talked, and he said he was fine. God, that man is so dumb sometimes.”        “Is there any way you could find a way to get here?” Florence asked biting down her lip.        She heard Y/N sigh at the other end of the line. “I’ll – I’ll try and figure something out. Have to know what’s going on at work, I mean it has been like two months since the video, so maybe…” She was more so talking to herself, but then remembered about Florence. “Listen, can I give you a message when I find out if my boss will let me?”        “Of course!” The actress was excited about the possibility of Y/N getting here, as long as it got Harry out of his depressive mood.        “Oh, and I’ll need to know what kind of restrictions are on set. I’ll figure something out with flights and quarantine, but I have zero clue as to what’s it like where you’re filming.”        Florence waved her off, even though she couldn’t see the motion. “Leave that to me. Just get your ass over here before the guy cries himself dry.”        It was a struggle though on all three ends – Harry was still moping, because not only had Y/N’s shirt lost its smell of her, but homesickness was hitting full force, Florence was getting more and more desperate as she attempted to take his mind off of things, but nothing seemed to work, and Y/N was trying to get on any possible flight to Harry while arranging two tests and an AirBnB she could self-isolate in for two weeks while attempting to set up her work from afar at the same time.        Two days after Florence’s call, Y/N sent her a message ‘Flying in tomorrow at 4 AM. Don’t tell Harry. He’ll feel even shittier cause I have to stay alone in quarantine. First test came back negative.”        She sighed in relief at the message and immediately texted back ‘i’ve got you a set pass ready, just need a picture. selfie will do. also, masks are mandatory on the lot, so bring those.’        Immediately Y/N sent a thumbs up, and a picture of herself she didn’t absolutely despise to be used on the ID card. All that was left was to pack. And spend two weeks in an attempt of not going crazy with anticipation before seeing Harry.        Those two weeks turned out to be worse than the two months between the music video shoot and going to the filming lot. Because throughout then, Y/N knew her only access to him would be through FaceTime, but to be about twenty minutes away from the man without the ability to touch him was pure torture, but at least Harry seemed completely oblivious to the change in her surroundings.        As they still continued on with their calls, not once did he mention her background, or how the paintings suddenly had managed to switch positions or the fact that Y/N didn’t even own paintings. She was sure she could’ve been missing an arm, and he wouldn’t have mentioned it with how tired he looked.        “Have you even slept, Har?”        “Not really,” he groaned, getting more comfortable in his bed. “We’ve had a bunch of early shoots and then late nights, ‘cause we need to get the continuity for the scenes, and then the day’s full of Zoom calls, and well, I can’t not call you.”        Y/N scoffed, scolding him. “You know damn well I won’t be offended if we sacrifice a couple of calls for you to get some proper sleep.”        “I know, but I will.”        Y/N sighed, knowing in a way it was her fault. She could tell him she no longer was hours of time zones away, but rather watched the same sunset and sunrise as him, but she also knew Harry, and he would be unable to stay away from her until her quarantine was over.        She was quite happy she’d sat through the fourteen mandatory days, because when she got on set, even though Harry was usually good at keeping his composure during a scene, despite the mask, he’d recognise Y/N anywhere, and all of the lines flew out of his head.        “Jack?” Florence’s hand came to cup Harry’s cheek, trying to bring him back on track. “You alright?”        But he didn’t even care about improvising to get out of the flub as his lips were split apart by a grin, and he dashed away, a loud ‘CUT!’ ringing throughout the set, but Harry already had Y/N in his arms, spinning the girl around.        “Best friends my ass,” Florence murmured as she went to the two.        Harry was speechless, Y/N’s face in between his hands as he looked her up and down. “How are you here? What? Why?”        “Thank Florence.” Y/N gave an attempt at motioning to the actress with her head. She set the whole thing up.”        Harry’s head whipped to his scene partner. “You knew Y/N was here for two weeks and told me nothing?”        “Your brain short-circuited when you saw her! You wouldn’t be of no use on set at all if I had.”        Harry scoffed, throwing an arm over Y/N’s shoulder. “Come on, let’s get away from this meanie.” But as he walked away, he looked over his shoulder and mouthed a grateful ‘thank you’ to her.        All Florence could hope for was that he’d get it together and confess, but it didn’t seem like he was in any sort of a rush. Y/N was set to be there for three weeks, but the thought of the woman leaving without knowing how Harry felt, leaving him in a sea of his own heartache, made her miserable, especially after a night they’d all spent together.        Harry really wanted Y/N to get to know the people he worked with so he invited the ones closest to him for a movie night, during which he himself had been the first one to actually fall asleep, of course.        For most of it, as ‘Westworld’ ran on in the background, he spent curled up in Y/N’s lap, his head resting against her chest with her fingers weaving through the shortened locks. She had to get used to the length, motion automatically wanting to go on longer than it was possible to. Soon enough, the soothing motions lulled her to sleep as well, their bodies leaning into one another and perfectly fitting together.        As tired as Florence was of seeing Harry, a person who’d become her friend now pine for someone so hard, it was absolutely heart-melting to watch the two interact. Everyone could see Y/N had the same feelings as Harry did for her, only she hid them a bit better. A little, but not by a lot.        No friends acted the way those two did around one another. Sure, people could be touchy, but not like that, not with such intimacy behind the motions. She felt like she was being a little creepy as she pulled out her phone to take a picture, but it was too cute not to.        A loud noise from somewhere outside set made Y/N shoot up straight, and Florence held her breath as she clutched onto her phone, having swiped it accidentally into video mode and filming the whole thing.        “No,” Harry whined, a hand reaching up for Y/N and grabbing at her elbow. “Come back. ‘S too early.”        She just nodded, grumbling something unintelligible but possibly along the lines of ‘don’t make me throw hands’ before laying down and snuggling into Harry’s chest.        Florence let out a large sigh of relief and decided to get some sleep as well before their annoying four AM alarm woke them up for set.        This time it was the other way around, as Y/N whined for Harry to ‘come back and keep her warm’.        Florence watched as Harry slipped out of Y/N’s grasp, but not before pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead and a whispered a promise to ‘see her when the Sun’s up’. The second the trailer door was closed, she slapped his shoulder, and Harry gasped in shock. “What'dya do that for?”        “Stop that! Stop that stupid dance!” She stomped her foot on the ground. “I’m sick and tired of watching you watch her with that dumb longing expression on your face. I can’t take it anymore. Why do you think I went through all that trouble to get her here?”        “I told you I would!”        She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Look, I know it’s not my place or anything, but she does like you. A lot.”        Harry threw her an uncertain gaze. “And how do you know?”        “Because that woman spent two weeks in self-isolation just to see you! She’s gone through how many of those awful Covid tests just to go and visit you! She’s dropped everything for you, has supported you through so much, and never fails to boost you up.”        “That’s what friends do.”        “No.” Florence shook her head. “That kind of loyalty… that’s what people in love give. I haven’t talked to my best friend in like a month. What’s the longest you’ve gone without speaking to Y/N?”        And with that question, she left Harry to ponder not only his feelings but the girl’s he was in love with as well. Because if he had to be honest, the reason he’d been dragging everything out, the reason he’d stayed pining for Y/N for years on end was that he tried to write everything she did off as something a childhood best friend would do.        The truth was more terrifying than anything because once that came to light, it’d change everything, and Harry didn’t know if he was ready. He wanted it, desperately so if it meant Y/N becoming someone he could love freely and openly, but not if by the end of it, she'd disappear from his life, leaving a hole the size of his heart in his chest.        His thoughts were cut short as someone knocked on the ‘Hair&Make-up’ door, and an assistant let in a pouting Y/N. Well, he couldn’t’ see the pout behind the mask, but he definitely knew it was there, making a smile come on his own face.        She plopped down in an empty sofa and crossed her arms. “I was cold.”        Harry snorted, wanting to shake his head, but didn't as to not ruin the hair stylist’s work. “You’re always cold.”        “And you’re a living furnace.”        “ ‘S that why you like cuddling? Leeching off my warmth?”        The same assistant who’d let Y/N in handed her a cup of coffee, which she was ready to kiss the woman for, but opted for a ‘thank you’. “We’ve established I only use you to get to other celebs. What makes you think I wouldn’t use you for those sort of things.”        For a moment, the trailer settled into silence, as Y/N enjoyed her morning coffee while the crew kept doing their own work.        “It’s so weird,” Y/N piped up, eyes racking up and down Harry’s body. “Don’t even wanna really look at you like that.”        He let out a mock gasp of hurt. “What d’ya mean? Am I suddenly repulsive to you?”        “No!” she let out a laugh. “It’s just odd seeing you without the tattoos. They’re such a huge part of you, even the dumb ones. Can’t really imagine you any differently.”        “Would you love me any differently without them?” The question was bold, even though he knew she did love him, he had to start making moves.        “No,” Y/N shook her head. “I don’t think so. I believe I’d be a different person then as well, but I’d love you all the same. As long as you’d do the same with me.”        Harry nodded looking down at his hands then back up at her, catching her eyes through the reflection in the mirror. “Don’t think there’s a dimension out there where I don’t love you.”        “I mean that is a bold statement,” Y/N said, sipping on the remnants of her coffee. “What if I’m like a weird, cat-skinning psychopath in one dimension? Would you love me even then?”        “Jesus Christ, Y/L/N, do you just normally come up with those gruesome scenarios or is it a hobby?”        She wiggled her eyebrows, standing up and throwing away the paper cup. “There’s a reason I have a VPN and clean my search history. I’ll see you in your trailer?”        “Yeah.” Harry nodded and smiled. “I’ll be there in thirty minutes.”        The next half-hour he kept hyping himself up, about how he was actually going to do it, but Florence intercepted him right as he was turning down the way his trailer stood. “How are you gonna do it?”        “I – “ Harry huffed and placed his hands on his hips. “In the beginning, I had like a whole romantic outing planned, but… I’ve dragged this on long enough, so I think I’ll just tell her.”        “Okay, good.” Florence nodded and slapped his shoulder in approval. “And if I don’t hear that trailer rocking, I will throw you in a ditch.”        Harry’s eyes widened at the statement, fully knowing she meant her words, but she was already half-way down the track, blond hair swishing behind her back.        It was then or never.        Slowly he opened his own trailer door as if it was Y/N’s place not his, but by the looks of how she’d sprawled out on his bed, she had made herself right at home. Just like she’d done it on the first day of school, but just with his heart.        “Hey!” She smiled looking at him. “You ready to film?”        “Yeah, but umm… I kind of wanted to talk to you beforehand.”        Y/N’s brows furrowed at Harry’s serious tone, so she sat up, nodding. “Sure. Is everything alright?” “It’s nothing bad, at least I hope you won’t take it in a bad way... I’ve actually been wanting to tell you this since that winter’s break party you had while doing your masters...” He let out a small chuckle but seeing Y/N’s eyes widen in a panic he stopped. “Oh, God,” she moaned. “You have a kid! Oh my God.” “What? No!” Harry spluttered. “Why the hell is the first thing you assume that I have a kid?” “I don’t know!” She was now standing facing him completely. “We’ve never had secrets between us, especially for as long as you’ve apparently kept them, what am I supposed to think? Maybe one of the girls you hooked up with got pregnant, and you’ve been hiding the fact you’re a baby daddy because you know I wouldn’t be able to keep the fact I can be the cool drunk aunt to myself.” All of that came out as is she’d prepared it ages ago. “Well, no.” Harry shook his head stepping closer so he could be chest to chest with Y/N. “I’m not anyone’s baby daddy. At least I don’t think so, but umm... when that moment would come... when I have a kid...” He looked up at the ceiling and sighed before lifting a gentle hand to cup her cheek. I wouldn’t want you to be the drunk aunt. I um...” There goes nothing. “I’d kinda like if you were the mom.” “Of course, I’ll be the Godmother!” Both of them said at the same time, making the other’s brain stumble over the words said. “Wait, mom?” Y/N’s question was breathless. “Like donate my eggs or some shit?” “No like, I’ve been in love with you for close to four years, and I wanna try and build a future with you, where you’re more than just my best friend.”        “Oh.”        That was all that managed to escape her mouth as he fully opened his heart, and Harry couldn’t lie – it shattered. He didn’t know what he was expecting, but it was more than that. “That’s...” Y/N huffed sitting down on the bed. “That’s a lot to take in Harry. Like a lot.” “I know.” He sighed and sat down next to her. “Which is why I’ve been pushing this away for as long as I could, but... it was time. It wasn’t fair to you or me to keep on living like that. Look.” Harry took her palm in his. “Whatever you want us to be, we’ll be that. I - I mean I’ll be heartbroken if you say you don’t feel the same, but no matter what you tell me now, I won’t let you leave my life. I love you, and I’m in love with you. This is your choice which way you chose to go with.” Y/N shook her head, interlacing their fingers and finally looking up at him. “I don’t want you to be heartbroken. It’s the last thing, I’d ever want to see you like. And umm well, if it takes me using the pair of ovaries I have to admit I’ve been in love with you too to change that, I guess I’ll have to say it. I’m in love with you too.” Harry’s eyes glimmered with unshed tears of happiness, as he looked at Y/N like she’d hung the stars in the sky. Not that it mattered. He always looked at her like that. “You mean it?” “Yeah,” she chuckled, wiping away a few stray pearls from her own cheeks. “I guess I always thought I’d end up the drunk aunt in your life, so that’s why I thought you’d ask me to be whatever future child’s Godmother. But I love you, and I’m in love with you too.” “Can I – “ Fuck, Harry was too giddy for his own good. “Can I kiss you?” And when Y/N chuckled, nodding he swore he already was in heaven. “Yes, please.”        At first, the touch of his lips was gentle, almost afraid, but the second he pressed them to Y/N’s, and she gasped at the sensation, it became full of lust as passion, years of pent-up pining and angst and just plain old stupidity surfacing and morphing itself into a steamy make-out session.        In a split second, she was sprawled out on Harry’s bed, his toned body leaning over hers and teasing hands moving along her sides, making her squirm and ache for more of his touch, but she wasn’t the only one who wanted to explore a body with a new mindset of what was possible.        As Y/N moaned from Harry’s tongue invading her mouth, her hand couldn’t help itself as it slid down his chest, and her finger flicked against the button of his trousers.        “Can I touch you there?” Y/N whispered against his mouth, and Harry eagerly nodded.        “Please. Been dreaming about this for literally years.”        Smiling, she allowed him to continue and explore her mouth with his tongue, intoxicated on one another’s taste. In fact, Y/N was so far gone just from the kiss, she forgot how a fly worked and needed Harry’s help to open it.        “Get back here,” she grumbled as he chuckled, having leaned up a bit to make it easier for her to get the offensive piece of clothing off. “We’ll see how you fare with a bra.”        “Oh, I’m an expert.” His hands trailed to her shoulder where he snapped one of the straps against her skin, making her yelp.        “You do not want to do that when my hand is an inch away from your dick.”        But the threat had no merit to it, as she dipped her palm behind Harry’s boxers while his mouth went to soothe the sting and leave a little mark on her skin, which he’d get to admire later on.        The second, Y/N wrapped her hand around his cock an involuntary moan escaped into the air, as she gripped him. Fuck, she couldn’t wait until he was inside her, because, and it might sound a little cliché given how they were best friends who’d fallen in love with one another, but she was one hundred percent sure, he was made exactly for her.        But no matter how much she twisted her hand or how gently or roughly she rubbed the tip, he couldn’t get hard, and Harry was on the verge of tears, which Y/N saw and instantly pulled away, cupping his face.        “I’m sorry,” he choked out. “Fuck, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.”        “Hey!” Y/N cooed. “None of that. It’s alright. Shit happens.”        Harry nodded understanding that she was right, but he still felt shitty and well, he felt insecure about it. “I just. Fuck. Usually, when I think of you, I’m hard in like a second.”        And although all Y/N wanted to do was smirk and tease him about the fact that he thought of her while wanking himself off, that wasn’t the right moment.        “I promise, you turn me on, you do." He sniffled. "This had never happened before.” But Y/N wasn’t offended or sad, and her laugh wasn’t mocking or trying to hurt him.        “Harry you’re dead tired.” She cupped his cheek with one of her hands, and if he’d been ice cream he would’ve literally melted. “You had to wake up at four in the fucking morning and won’t go to sleep until two the next day. Let yourself rest a bit.”        “But,” he whined and then huffed. “But I wanna love on you. Wanna show you just how crazy I am about you.”        “And you will. You know I’ll always hold you to your word. But this won’t be fun for either of us if mid-fuck you suddenly collapse on me asleep. I don’t need to go to the A and E and explain the broken nose is because my boyfriend decided to take a nap while shagging. A nap on my face.”        But Harry hadn’t really heard anything she’d said after Y/N mentioned the b-word, a dopey smile on his face. “I’m your boyfriend? You really want me like that?”        “I mean I would prefer if you were Phoebe…”        Harry pinched her side, making her squeal before tackling her in a hug. “Shut up!”        And that’s how the two fell asleep (and were woken up twenty minutes later by an assistant in a panic given how Harry was supposed to be on set in five minutes)  – wrapped up in one another’s arms, smiles on their faces, and no longer best friends, but lovers.
an (incomplete) list of things kon can do because lex luthor is his dad that people always forget about:
#1 : math - he's fifteen, and math comes easy to him (unlike a lot of people his age, or at least, his visible age.) a lot of things come easy to him, because when you have all knowledge in the known universe downloaded into your brain, things like advanced math don't bother you very much.
but it bothers his friends, because bart loses interest about three seconds into the assignments, cassie groans anytime "homework" is brought up in general, and tim hates the concept and execution of math so much that he'd rather hide in kon's room where he thinks no one will look for him instead of even cracking open a textbook.
but kon's pretty sure being a hero means you don't need any real world skills, and after his initial hesitation and disagreements, he realized that he genuinely wants these people to like him, to be friends with him. their math homework is easier than a breeze to complete.
#2 : tying a tie the ~fancy~ way - he's nineteen, and his fingers flow through a silk tie like a fish through water. the motions are beyond familiar, he could do them in his sleep. so is the action of pulling on a suit, pressing his collar, arranging his hair into a neat style. he's timothy drake-wayne's date tonight, and he needs to look the part. fortunately, luthor taught him how to look the part a long the ago.
the party itself is,,,,pleasant, he supposes. he spends most of the time as arm candy, tim's pretty little thing as his boyfriend sweet-talked investors and networked. but they both know that the tipsier people are, the easier they let slip secrets to someone they believe won't understand them, and kon gathers a wealth of information by the time he meets up with tim by the appetizer bar right before dinner.
tim tugs him close by his tie and kisses his cheek, then laughs when kon discreetly but disgustedly spits out the pickled salmon cracker toppings.
#3 : educated debating - he's sixteen, and in an argument with tim that's gone so off the rails that kon can't even remember what they were fighting about in the first place. wherever they started, they were here, now, kon on top of a table in an ice cream parlour screaming about how a socialist approach to taxes would boost the lower class, tim on top of a barstool screaming right back about how the middle class are the only ones paying taxes and socialism would only put more weight on their shoulders.
both of them are this close to busting out laughing, and the only reason they haven't been thrown out is because the employee behind the counter is frantically taking notes. kon can see it in tim's eyes, see the way the younger boy didn't expect to hold such a passionate and intense debate with him, didn't expect kon to be capable of it. it's a pleasant surprise, though; that much is evident in tim's barely-hidden grin.
the debate comes to a pause when bart smacks him with a spoon and tells him off for stepping on the speedster's ice cream, and the tiredness with which he collapses back into the booth is a good one.
#4 : efficient + effective workplace supervision - he's twenty, and wondering how in the hell people hadn't murdered the entirety of young justice when it was first founded. bart had graduated to being the flash's full time sidekick, and though he came to visit often, it wasn't the same. gotham was almost always on the verge of imminent disaster these days, and tim was one of the few ropes holding it together. kon missed him like crazy, but his few visits were all the boy could spare. cassie was in charge now, and she was a wonderful leader, but busy, always smoothing over relations between the team and the justice league and civilian offices.
so, somehow, that left kon to be the den mother to all the new younger kids, and somehow, kon was good at it. he knew exactly what to say to get people to listen to his commands, telling them to work on this or work on that, train for this and practice that. he tells them when to get some sleep and let the weight of the day roll off their shoulders, and when to push themselves to raise them higher than they ever thought they could go. unexpectedly, he finds himself liking it.
#5 : the splits
#6 : colour schemes + interior decorating - he's twenty-one, and tim's finally deciding to turn the nest into a home. bart, who had spent the last couple of years bouncing between allen-west-mercury households and was therefore accustomed to a home with a fire of love reaching every corner and every member of the family, was appalled. so was kon, honestly.
the penthouse that tim worked out of was cold and impersonal, sleek lines that angles that matched the limbs and contours of tim's body. but the shadows around tim's eyes had lessed over the past few years, his smile coming to his lips almost as easy as when young justice first learned how to work together. all it took was a little encouragement from cassie, and suddenly, all four of them were involved in a home renovation project.
cassie churned out ikea furniture like it was nothing, the three of them taking a break from their jobs to just watch her as she lifted one of their hardwood bookshelves with one hand. bart bought home goods and essentials from various department stores and ran around, stocking the house with them wherever he felt a saucepan needed to be hung (near the coat hanger) or a candle holder needed to be placed (on the kitchen barstools, because apparently those were decorative anyway).
kon, meanwhile, decorated. he painted rooms and bought curtains and pillows, yes. but he also sorted through every single souvenir and memory the four of them had managed to accumulate over the years, photographs and hacked-off pieces of giant robots and saved movie tickets and broken weapons. he gets his hands on everything he can find, then fills up tim's nest until it's brimming with a cosy warmth made up of the four of them.
still, it's an obnoxiously large penthouse, so there's empty and open space left over even after redecorating. it's tim who takes a breath and works up the courage to tell them, not ask but tell them, that he wanted each of them to have their own bedroom. so bart takes the largest guest room and turns it into an explosion of colour, and cassie spends too much time decorating a room that she won't even live in most of the time. kon conspicuously notes how tim doesn't bother giving kon a room, just dumps kon's backpack on his bed and clears room in his own closet. he does wrap tim in a ttk hug though, from all the way across the room, and drinks in tim's red flush.
#7 : speed reading (no powers) - he's seventeen, and just now realizing how competitive his best friends are. cassie had long since resigned herself to being the judge and the hander-outer-of-prizes (candy from the nearest convenience store) for the speed-reading competition, but tim, kon, and bart were still in the running.
eventually, though, the pressure from holding back his powers grew too strong, and bart slumped against the back of the sofa, mournfully opening his mouth so cassie could drop a candy into it.
and then there were two.
kon thought back to the confrontation that had started this contest in the first place, robin's offhand comment about how he had to be the one to collect the data files from the company office they were infiltrating, because he was the only one who could speed-read and retain information. that had spiraled into an argument, then a challenge, then a competition, with a clear rule not to use any powers.
kon darted his eyes across the page, soaking up every word, the pages like tiny knives on the pads of his fingers as he turned them. he lost track of the page count, just reading and reading and reading until he tried to turn the page and realized there wasn't a next one. he yelled in triumph, reveling in tim's defeated groan, and settled in for cassie's quiz on the contents of the book.
#8 : sophisticated meal and wine palette - he was twenty-two, and discovering that he really, really liked tim's shocked face. they'd been friends for years now, childish hatred turned into playful bantering turned into knowing each other inside out. still, every now and then, kon did something that forced tim's eyebrows high on his head, his eyes widening just the barest bit.
right now, kon was at a dinner party with the words moral support written across his forehead. tim could handle himself remarkably well, but there was tiredness lacing the smaller boy's frame, and kon could practically see the way the tips of his soul were frazzled. so kon let tim lean into his arm and whispered jokes about luna-with-the-big-ugly-purse and martonio-who-can't-do-a-combover into his ear. or, at least, he was.
somehow he'd been drawn into a good natured argument with the man sitting just two seats down from tim and kon. friendly opinions of food had been tossed back and forth, growing more and more heated until kon looked him right in the eye and said he liked prosecco with his prosciutto, internally crowing with satisfaction at their shocked silence and sighing with pity that none of the guests here would ever try that combination out of fear of deviation. once the man had regained his sensibilities, he shot back, saying the sixth course should never serve salmon, instead regaling the fish to the amusebouche or the cheese course. kon snorted and told him fish itself was going out of style, and if he wanted to impress guests at the next dinner party he hosted, he should try serving octopus.
tim's shocked face was a pleasant surprise, but seeing the stunned, controlled blinks of everyone around him as they realized he wasn't just a pretty face was satisfying as well. even more satisfying was when he and tim said their goodbyes; while waiting for the valet, tim pressed up onto the tips of his toes and whispered promisingly in kon's ear, i fucking love your competence.
#9 : manipulating people into hating him to justify his actions - he was eighteen, and he was screaming, crying, tearing his hair out. kon didn't know what he had expected. lingering fondness? grudging acceptance? maybe a small leap for a chance at love?
it didn't matter. clark didn't want anything to do with him. and he was eighteen now, which meant clark didn't need to take care of him anymore, didn't need to pretend to pay attention to him anymore. he'd made it quite clear.
maybe that was why he found himself hesitating before saying no to amanda waller's offer. he forgot about the warnings tim gave him, though, and waller pounced on that hesitation, quicker than a panther. it was easy, it was oh so easy to let himself go with her.
besides, they had a reason to hate him now. he hadn't done anything to clark. he hadn't asked to be made. but clark had wanted nothing to do with him anyway, and didn't that sting. so if people were going to turn him away now, it was going to be for something he did.
he didn't realize how bad he was spiraling, how close he was to stepping off the lighted ledge he'd been balancing on his entire life and tumbling into the darkness below. but cassie had a stronger punch than most grown superheroes, and bart had tenaciousness written into every strand of his ginormous hair, and tim gripped his jaw so hard his fingernails dug into kon's skin and told kon that he was getting his best friend back, no matter what the hell he thought he was worth.
maybe it was madness that made him throw himself forward, still wrapped in the lasso cassie borrowed from diana, practically mauling tim's lips with his own. he was pretty sure he wasn't supposed to break down crying after he kissed someone, given past experience, but the three of them, his wonderful, wonderful friends, just hugged him tight, let him fight and shake and sob until all the rage was gone. it was the first time in a long while he'd done something in hopes that someone would look at him with love, not hatred.
#10 : waltzing - he was twenty-three, twenty three and giddy with how much time he had left. conner was with tim drake-wayne publicly now, so expectations were thrust onto him, expecting to be met.
kon tended to have more fun at events than tim ever did. granted, kon didn't have to deal with all of his coworkers drinking too much and exchanging money with secrets faster than drugs and asking tim whether or not his relationship meant he was open for still-young and handsome men who needed just a small escape from their wives. but tim wasn't trying very hard to enjoy himself either.
so kon was completely justified in tugging him towards the center of the room, in a patch of floor sparsely occupied, then pulling him as close as he dared. tim's panicked whisper of what!? was overridden by kon's laughter, but he muffled his sounds for a minute, letting tim hear the quiet music playing in the background (prerecorded and playing on speakers, not live).
understanding broke over tim's face, and he arched into kon's hold as easy as breathing. kon moved one of his hands to grip tim's wrist, and he twirled the two of them effortlessly, breathless at tim's flabbergasted expression. the rhythm was simple, and tim caught on quickly. one two three, one two twist, one two three, one two step, one two three, one two switch, one two three, one two three.
kon couldn't say they danced the night away, because a little while later tim took a break for a drink, then speeches were made, then dinner was served. by then, they were both entirely too tired to dance, longing for just a bed and a soft blanket and each other. but for those few minutes in the middle of a packed yet empty ballroom, kon and tim did lose themselves in the music, just a little bit.
i don't know shit about taxes or socialism. this got way longer than anticipated whoops. i'm tagging this "long post," but if someone asks me to put it under a cut, i'd be happy to
also jesus christ this thing is almost 2.5k words. im uploading it to ao3 later if i'm in the mood
A/N: This is my submission for @msmarvelwrites 2k writing challenge and the song prompt that I based this on was Dress. I'm obsessed with this song and I knew I wanted to write this story from the very beginning. It just took me a bit longer than I anticipated because I kept fighting with myself over it
Wanda’s fingers ran through your hair, as she created an intricate updo on top of your head. Your eyes fluttered shut, savoring the feeling of her nimble fingers in your long tresses.
“You gonna fall asleep on me, lovely?” Her melodic voice questioned, her Sokovian accent sending a thrill up your spine. You couldn’t help it, you were in love with your best friend and she was the only one who didn’t know.
Ever since Wanda had joined the team, you two were inseparable. Initially having bonded over your similar powers, the friendship quickly grew. Now two years later, and that feeling of friendship had bloomed into something more. At least for you. Every day you fell more and more in love with her.
Every time Wanda entered the room, your heart skipped a beat and sometimes you found yourself staring at her until someone nudged you out of your stupors. Luckily you were able to shield her from reading your thoughts or your friendship would long have been ruined. She didn’t feel that way for you and you knew she never would.
“Honey?” she questioned again.
“Mhmm?” you mumbled, drawing a sweet giggle out of her.
“Are you falling asleep, darling?”
“Yess,” You nodded, eyes still shut.
“Well you’re gonna have to wake up because I’m all done.”
“Noooooo,” you groaned, head falling back into her lap. She leaned forward, her beautiful hair creating a cocoon around you two. “You can’t be done, it feels too good!”
Smiling, she kissed your nose and gently moved your head, so she could get up.
“I have magic fingers,” she smirked, wiggling her fingers at you. You chuckled, her playful antics were rarely present these days, the stress of all these missions getting to you all.
“Yes you do, now come back and continue your magic finger treatment,” you pouted.
She shook her hand, “I can’t babe, I promised Vision I would train with him. But I promise tonight we can have a movie night, just the two of us!”
Getting off the ground, you followed her out, walking with her to the training room
“Sounds great, but we can’t tonight. Tony’s throwing that extravagant party, celebrating that one mission we didn’t die on, remember?” The one you still had to find a dress for.
“Oh no, you’re right! I completely forgot about that!” Wanda exclaimed. She suddenly gripped your arm, stopping you. “We should go together! That way neither one of us will be alone!”
Her words hurt your heart because you knew she didn’t mean it as you wanted her to, but nonetheless, you plastered a smile on and agreed quickly, before excusing yourself.
~
Natasha was leaning by your door as you approached and she pushed off the wall, trailing you into the room.
“You know you should just tell her how you feel?” she said, as you plopped down on your couch in a huff.
“Tell who what?” you asked, playing dumb. Nat gave you a ‘seriously’ look and you shook your head “I can’t tell her. She sees me as a friend, that’s all. And I love her too much to lose her.”
“So you choose to be unhappy.”
“You know better than all of us, that us avengers rarely find happiness,” you joked, and she shoved you playfully.
“Oh shut up!” she chuckled. “We should find you an amazing dress for tonight, that’ll help you feel like yourself again.”
You shrugged, sure that she was right but your heart just wasn’t in it. Alas, you let her drag you out to go shopping. Armed with Tony’s credit card, she found a cute boutique that was very misleading because you knew if you looked at any of the tags, you’d had a heart attack.
Watching as she tore through the racks of dresses, you sat on a comfy poof with a champagne flute in hand. She was a menace, throwing dress after dress in a pile you knew she was gonna make you try.
Shaking your head, you stood up and began scanning through the dresses yourself, running your hand over the material. A burgundy dress caught your eye, the satiny material, cut in a deep v, tight but not too tight with a slit up the thigh. It was beautiful.
You snuck into the back without alerting Nat, and into a dressing room. The dress fit perfectly, hugging every curve of your body and for a second you imagined Wanda seeing you in this and falling head over heels in love with you. Oh, a girl could dream, couldn’t she?
“Y/n? Where did you go?” you hear Natasha call out and peeked your head out of the room.
“Back here, Nat. I found a dress,” you hollered back. She let out a frustrated huff, knowing her efforts were wasted on you. You exited the dressing room and her eyes widened as she took in your silhouette.
“Wow! I’m impressed, you did almost as good of a job as I would have,” Nat said, crossing her arms and leaning against the door frame. “Now if you let me do your hair and makeup, I’m sure we can make Wanda not know what hit her.”
You quickly threw a hanger at her, which she dodged effortlessly, laughing as she left you to change.
The shopping trip didn’t last long after that, as you came to the counter to find Nat with her dress and a pair of heels for you. She was lucky you were very dexterous, otherwise, you would fall flat on your face in those shoes and what kind of impression would you make then?
~
“Okay Nat, you’re overdoing it, I can feel it,” you complained, as she ran the brush along your cheekbones in feather light motions. She tsked you, ignoring your billionth complaint of the night. “Natttttt!” “Stop complaining or I will mess up and we’ll have to start all over,” She threatened. A light knock interrupted your rebuttal and you both looked at the door. “There, you’re all done,” she smiled, booping you on the nose with the brush before she took the cloth off, the one she had tied around your neck to avoid messing up your dress with makeup.
“Finally!” you said exasperatedly, heading to the door. You opened it to reveal Wanda in a pretty rose gold dress, the v of the dress was nearly down to her navel, accentuating the slopes of her breasts and tiny waist, the sequins were scattered with a few in flower shapes, all catching the light with each movement. She looked like an absolute goddess with her long hair in loose waves. The smile she gave you lit up her entire face, causing your heart to race.
“Wow, you look beautiful!” She exclaimed pulling the rather speechless you into a tight hug. You hoped she couldn’t feel your raging heartbeat. Natasha laughed under her breath, covering it up as a cough and you quickly flipped her the bird from behind Wanda’s back.
“Thank you, Wanda. So do you,” you managed to get out without stumbling over your words. A quick round of applause, ladies and gentlemen! You pulled away from her and the three of you headed downstairs.
~
Natasha conveniently leaving the two of you to join Steve at the bar. Bruce was in charge of drinks tonight so you knew you’d most likely be hungover in the morning. That man did not know how to portion alcohol appropriately.
Wanda scanned the room, her arm looped through yours, waving to some of your friends. She pulled you alongside her as she came to the group of couches where Bucky, Sam, and Vision sat.
“Doll, that dress is immaculate,” Bucky complimented as you sat down next to him with Wanda beside you. Vision pulled Wanda into a discussion about their workout earlier and you turned your attention to Sam and Bucky.
“Thanks, Buck! Nat and I went shopping this afternoon,” you said, smiling at the super-soldier. You couldn’t deny that he was a god of a man and you probably checked him out almost as much as you did Wanda. Bucky Barnes was a gift to womankind and he knew it.
His eyes looked you over and you leaned forward a bit, placing your purse on the coffee table, causing his eyes to wander to your cleavage.
“Well you two did a great job picking out dresses,” He replied, eyes reluctantly leaving your chest. His eyes glanced over your shoulders and widened briefly, before returning to you nervously. You turned to look over your shoulder, only seeing Wanda talking with Vision and a room full of people mingling. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Bucky still looked a bit spooked when you return to him but as the conversation flows, him and Sam have you laughing uncontrollably. At some point, Wanda brought you a drink, and another and another until your whole body felt so hot and your dress felt like it was smothering you.
You leaned back into her, her sweet scent enveloping you like a warm hug. She giggled at something Bucky said or didn’t say, you weren’t exactly sure at this point, and wrapped her arm around your shoulder, hand resting by your breast.
“And that’s when I had to intervene, you know? Or Steve was going to get his ass handed to him for the last time,” Bucky chuckled recalling a time when Steve got his ass kicked. Steve tossed a pillow at him as the crowd laughed along with Bucky. Those two were probably the only ones not hammered at this point.
“I’m gonna get another drink,” you said, your words only slightly slurred. You could handle your alcohol well, but you were still quite tipsy and as you went to stand up, you wobbled. Wanda’s hand shot out, her powers wrapped around your waist, holding you steady. You gained your footing, nodding thanks to her, and headed carefully to the bar.
“I need another drink please, good sir,” you said, leaning haphazardly against the bar. Bruce’s lip quirked up in a half-smile as he handed you a pink concoction. You took it without question and started sipping, resting against the counter as you looked around the now practically empty room. Only the Avengers and close friends were left; it was always your favorite time of the night when it was just all of you having a good time.
“I think it’s time to head to bed, love,” Wanda’s accented voice whispered in your ear, her warm breath trailing along your skin, raising goosebumps on your flesh.
“Bed?” you asked confused. “You’re going to take me to bed?” the lack of filter elevated by the alcohol in your system.
“If that’s what you want, baby,” she said, “You don’t think I don’t see the way you look at me. The way you watch me, the way you stumble over your words when I’m around.”
You backed away from her, thinking she was mocking you, that she had made it through your mental barriers. “Wanda, don’t,” you whispered, shaking your head. She tilted her head to the side, in that cute way that she does and grabbed your hands.
“I want you, y/n. I’m not messing with you. I want you too.” she reassured you, pulling you closer to her until her arms wrapped around your waist. Her fingers lingered over the bare skin of your back as she drew shapes on your skin, calming you almost instantly.
“Really?” you said, feeling ridiculous at how pathetic you sounded.
She leaned in, placing a sweet kiss on your lips and you whimpered against her lips. The kiss was electrifying, just the feeling of her against you ignited a dormant spark in you. Tugging you closer, she pressed herself against you. She tugged on your bottom lip as she separated from you. “Really, love. I almost took Barnes out earlier for the way he was staring.”
“You’re the one who spooked him?” you questioned. She nodded, with a wicked smile.
“Ever since I saw you in that dress, all I’ve wanted to do is peel it off you and if I wasn’t doing, no one else was going to.”
Lips to her ears, you said “Well good because I only bought this dress so you could take it off.”
Grinning like a Cheshire cat, Wanda grabbed your hand, and the two of you made your way to the elevator, giggling the whole way there. Oblivious to anything else. You were sure Natasha was probably smirking knowingly while the rest just stared.
~
The two of you barely made it to the bedroom when you pressed Wanda into a wall, slotting your thigh between hers.
“I don’t want you like a best friend. I haven’t for a long time,” you admitted against her lips before pulling her into a passionate kiss. Wanda’s hands grasped at the ample flesh of your ass, as she ground herself on your thigh.
Your hand cupped her face, holding her close, pausing for a moment to take her in, the moonlight from the window caressing the line of her throat, the swell of her heaving chest, the glimmer of her sequined dress.
Her fingers danced up your torso to the zipper on your side, lowering it with ease, before sliding the straps down your shoulders. You shimmied out of the dress and helped her slip her dress off, leaving you both in nothing but your panties.
Dresses discarded on the floor, you pulled her close, pressing your lips to Wanda’s neck. Her breasts bouncing lightly, her cheeks flushed, sweet nothings whispering from her lips, as she let her head fall back. Your lips sank lower, down to her breast, teasing one pebble-hard nipple, circling it with your tongue.
She pushed you onto the bed and you groaned as her teeth nipped at your neck. She crushed you to her, settling between your legs, skin to skin, every sweet curve at her fingertips. The red hue of her powers danced along your skin, making every part of you tingle. The added sensations made your back arch, your skin gliding along hers. Her fingertips dragged down your ribs, over the swell of your hips, finally brushing along the inside of your thighs.
A thrill sizzled up your spine and her eyes darkened at the sight of you. She was enjoying the way you were coming apart for her, unabashed and wanting.
“Wanda, I -” you panted as you felt Wanda drawing tight, firm circles over your clit with her clever fingers. She kept her pace steady, listening to you moan in time to her fingers.
It was truly like nothing you had ever known, even with previous lovers. The jolting current of her fingers combined with the soft kisses along your collarbones, your neck, your breasts. You mewled as she pulled a nipple into her mouth, lathing it with her tongue. You felt like time stood still, nothing but her teasing tongue and your breathless sighs, a heat building between your legs, setting your whole body aflame.
“Oh Wanda, yes,” you whispered.
“You like that, pretty baby?”
“Don’t stop,’’ you pleaded. She kissed you swallowing your pleas, your moans, all your sweet sounds. Her lips were like honey, warm and soft against yours. Your body writhing beneath her as Wanda’s fingers rolled over your swollen bud.
“I want to taste you,” She breathed, nuzzling into the valley of your breasts. You nodded, rapidly, the feel of her fingers making you yearn for more. You needed her mouth on you soon, before you lost it.
Kissing down your body, slow as melting ice, she ran her tongue along your sweat-beaded skin, her hand still strumming between your thighs. She pressed long, languid kisses on your belly, your hips, tracing around your navel with the tip of her tongue.
Spreading out your thighs with her hands, you laid splayed out on the bed before her. She watched you with a fierce look in her eye and her eyes drifted down to your silken softness, drenched in your slick. She moved slowly, running her tongue through your folds, flickering in and out.
You mewled and sighed, hips grinding, your hands in her hair, pulling her in tighter. Wanda moaned against you, feeling consumed by the taste of you, thirsty, starving for the flood of nectar on her tongue.
With a wave of her hand, she wrapped her powers around your breasts, pinching and rolling at the swollen nipples. The abundance of pleasure was quickly hurdling you towards the edge. You lost yourself as Wanda went to work in earnest, eyes rolling back in your head, fingers gripping the sheets blindly as you urged her on.
Your sounds made Wanda feel all-powerful, her every movement, every flick of her tongue or touch of her lips drawing out a groan, whispered pleas, a tremor running down the length of your body. With every drag of her tongue, your moans grew louder, longer until her tongue flicked over your pulsing bud, causing your body to tense up like a bowstring, spine arching. Your thighs clamped on either side of Wanda’s head, every muscle taut and shaking as your toes curled and you shrieked loudly.
Your whole body fell limp in the breathless aftermath, Wanda lapping up your release, tracing light circles over you, savoring your taste. Grinning mischievously she sank her tongue deeper into your petals, making you groan and reach for her head.
“Enough, gorgeous, enough,” you begged, pulling her back up your body. You enfolded her in your arms, your bodies melding into one as you flipped her over. Her legs wrapped around your waist as she kissed you feverishly, a long hungry kiss. You could taste yourself on her lips and you groaned, sucking on her bottom lip. Wanda smacked your ass, making you gasp and bite her lip, almost drawing blood.
“That was incredible,” she breathed out, licking her lips.
“Beginner’s luck?” you smirked down at her and she snarled in response.
“I didn’t hear any complaints,” she rebutted. “If you’re so cocky about it, love, why don’t you show me how it’s done?”
You kissed down her jawline, and she craned her head back, giving you full access to her neck. Your lips drifted down her throat, teeth grazing over her pulse point. Your fingernails traced lines of lust down her body, to her inner thighs.
“Say please” you taunted, kissing along her heated skin, nibbling marks on her gorgeous peaks. Your tongue flicked over a hardened nipple and Wanda whimpered, arching into you. You continued your descend down, situating yourself in between her thighs.
“W-what?” she panted.
“Say,” you whispered, nipping at the divet of her thigh and her sex. “Please.”
Wanda was hard-headed and stubborn, never one to bow down to anyone, but the way your fingers danced over her, light as a breeze, Wanda felt her belly begin to tighten as your tongue drew a tightening spiral around her clit.
“Say it,” you whispered again, flicking your tongue in a quick motion. The ache between her hips was a sweet agony, her heart pounding in her chest.
“Wanda, baby, say please and...” the light brush of your tongue, made her buck and shiver, “...I’ll give you what you want.”
Wanda lifted her heavy head, looking down the length of her body to you, ready to devour her. Anticipation was making it hard for her to breathe, eyes fluttering closed, she let her head fall back as she gave herself over to you entirely.
“Please.” Wanda panted.
A low, broken moan escaped her lips as you went to work, lips and tongues dancing through her folds. She had no idea where you had learned your skills, and any ex-lovers who may have had this pleasure from you, were now on Wanda’s hit list. She felt herself get wetter, her heat pulsed with every brush of your tongue. The bedsheet twisted in her fist as you slid a finger inside her, curling, coaxing, stroking against the spot that made her see stars.
The rhythm of your tongue matched your touch, and a second finger joined the first. Her back arched, lifting her hips to ground against your face, hands snarled in your hair. Wanda’s hips bucked wildly, and stars bloomed in her vision as your lips wrapped around your clit, sucking hard. The heat inside her burst into ravenous flames and she lost herself, her mouth open in a soundless scream.
Coming down from her blinding high, Wanda felt you beside her, soft lips leaving sweet kisses on her face, and finally her lips. You hooked a leg over hers, and she wrapped an arm around you, tugging you close. Nuzzled into her, you basked in her warm embrace.
“I hope you know I’m not letting you go. You’re mine.” Wanda said softly. You kissed her neck and hummed in approval.
“All yours,” you vowed, slowly beginning to doze off, her hand stroking your hair.
“Maybe next time, we’ll invite Bucky to join,” was the last thing you hear before sleep pulled you under.
