Lilia was walking around the campus of Night Raven College, when he heard the familiar sound of Sebek yelling at someone. He would've ignored it, if not for the other things he heard. Namely, a young girl crying, Silver trying to calm multiple people down, and what sounded like growling. Whatever's going on, it can't be good.

The skies grew darker as Lilia felt a surge of magic appear in the area he was approaching. Yep, not good!!

"Malleus, take a deep breath, everything's going to be ok!" Silver frantically spoke. "They apologized to you!"

"They need not apologize to me. I am not the one they initially wronged." Malleus responded. "It is (Y/N) they should be apologizing to." He spoke calmly, but his expression was that of pure rage.

"HOW DARE THEY DISRESPECT LORD MALLEUS?!" Sebek yelled, his arms wrapped around you. "What's more, they refuse to apologize to the young one?! Lilia's daughter?! Lilia is a highly respected man! He was a royal guard feared across the land, and his kindness knows no bounds seeing as he adopted a lowly human such as Silver! (Y/N) should be treated with that same respect!!"

"Again, everyone, just calm down. You three, all we ask is for you to apologize to (Y/N)." Silver turned to the enraged dragon fae who was currently making green lightning crash down around them. "And Malleus, please do not change into your true form! You'd destroy the school!"

Despite Silver's best efforts, green fire surrounded Malleus, and he began to take a more monsterous form, quickly growing in size, and then-!

"Dear me, what's with all this racket?" Lilia asked, hanging upside-down from one of the trees in the courtyard.

Momentarily, he gained everyone's attention, and he thankfully arrived just in time to halt Malleus' transformation into a gigantic dragon.

Everyone began talking all at once.

"Now now boys, I can't understand you if you're all talking over each other!" Lilia got down from the tree and was now standing upright. "So, mind telling me what's going on here?"

"I was simply about to strike these idiotic humans with lightning for what they did." Malleus explained. "I was also going to take my true form and rain fire down upon them, but you arrived before I could."

"Mm... I see. Why, may I ask, were you about to do that?" Lilia inquired.

"To put it simply, they were bullying (Y/N)." Silver sighed. "I assume Malleus heard her crying and came over to see what was wrong, Sebek and I got here when we heard Malleus yelling at these three with (Y/N) sobbing in his arms." Silver gestured to you, still crying, though now it was from the stress of the situation. "They wouldn't apologize to (Y/N), and Malleus started getting angry, Sebek also was getting angry and only encouraged Malleus' rage, and I was stuck in the middle trying to calm everybody down."

"Little (Y/N) didn't even do anything to incur the wrath of these hooligans!" Sebek yelled, still holding you in a tight hug. "According to her, she was doing nothing wrong! She was just going about her day when she tried to pick an apple from the tree, when one of these humans picked it before her and started tossing it around to his friends, a cruel game of monkey in the middle! And afterwards, they began to insult her! Lilia, do something!!"

"Oh goodness!" Lilia said, brining his hand to his face. "Is this true?" He asked the- in Sebek's words- hooligans.

"No! Well, m-maybe a little! But just a little! I-I-I don't think we deserve to be roasted alive!"

"Ah, so you admit you did insult her..." Lilia surmised. "(Y/N), what would you like me to do?"

"F-father..." You sniffled and wiped your eyes of the tears. "Please d-don't hurt them t-too b-badly...!"

Lilia had no need to crouch down, as he was as tall as your twelve-year-old self, but he did it regardless. He placed his hand on your face, and smiled softly.

"Anything for you, my little bat." Lilia stood back up, and addressed your older brother, Malleus, and Sebek. "You three, head back to Diasomnia. Get something nice for (Y/N), maybe some ice cream of sorbet, and put on a movie for her! Pamper her, cherish her, cuddle her, make her understand she's the most wonderful girl in the world! I'll join you boys soon."

"Yes father." Silver said.

"UNDERSTOOD, LILIA!" Sebek yelled, standing up, still holding you in his arms.

Malleus merely scowled one last time at the three people who'd caused this, before vanishing into thin air and leaving behind only lime green sparkles.

There was a tv in Diasomnia, despite what people would assume. Silver put on a movie for you, one Lilia showed him when he was younger, a tragic tale of a young ruler being punished for his greed by being turned into a llama. It's sure to cheer you up!

Malleus, who had never seen it before, was watching just as intently as you were.

Why are you at Night Raven College despite being twelve years old? Well, Lilia didn't want to leave you completely alone while he attended the school, so he got some kind of special permission from the Headmage to bring you with him! So, you're kind of an honorary student of NRC and by extension Diasomnia. (Technically the Dark Mirror sorted you into Heartslabyul, but since you are twelve years old and the daughter of a Diasomnia student, the Headmage allowed you to transfer to Diasomnia with no questions asked)

"Young one, why did you tell Lilia not to hurt those humans?" Malleus asked you. "Were it me, I would not tolerate anything they said."

"Well... they didn't really do anything wrong..." You reasoned. "They were just having fun, even if it was at my expense."

"I do not understand your reasoning, young one. Please explain further."

"Well, I mean... I guess I just... don't think they should die just for making fun of me." You said. "They aren't perfect, I'm not either."

"And you wish to forgive them on that basis?"

"Yeah." You sipped the cup of apple juice Silver had gotten you before he fell asleep yet again.

"You confuse me sometimes, young one." Malleus told you, placing his hand on top your head. "You're very kind to those you don't know... as a half fae, you will likely have much stronger magic than humans... never forget your kindness."

"Ok, Malleus!" You said, kicking your feet happily. You don't know what brought that on, but you knew he was giving good advice. He's been alive so much longer than you, whatever advice he gives, it's probably good!

When Lilia returned to the dorm, it was very late.

He put you to sleep with a sweet lullaby, before discussing what he did with the others.

"Father, you did as (Y/N) asked, right?" Silver asked. "I know you can go... overboard sometimes."

"Fufu! Whatever could you mean, Silver?" Lilia laughed. "Of course I did! I didn't hurt them too badly!"

"Does that mean you didn't hurt them as much as you could have?" Malleus asked.

"Well... maybe they'll be in the infirmary for a few days." Lilia admitted, a devious smile on his face.

"AS THEY SHOULD BE! Serves them right for picking on someone smaller than them." Sebek added.

"That's right..." Lilia whispered.

"Nobody hurts my little bat."

OKAY I saw this tweet and it made me think about an old idea it’s been so long I can’t relocate my original post, sorry 🥲

NRC holds a parent-teacher conference event so Lilia dons a mustache to cosplay as “Silver’s dad”… Everyone thinks he’s just being silly and no one takes his claims seriously but somehow Lilia ends up meeting Mama Spade (who totally takes him at face value when he says he’s Silver’s dad). And then he winds up wooing her???? 😂 Then later Lilia brags to Silver about how he “still has it” and Silver’s just. Being Silver. “I’m glad you’re making new friends even at your age, father.”

Meanwhile Deuce is freaking out about the new man in his mom’s life bcjsvsjwbwkdjdk He’s all excited for her h-he’s not crying, wdym?! but also insisting that he meet this guy and fistfight him to make sure he’s strong enough to protect her and take care of her 😭

BOOK 7 SPOILERS BELOW

I finally decided to suck it up and catch up with twst book 7, I stopped after seeing Silver cry because I'm sCARED OF BEING SAD 😭😭 anyway here's a few reactions I had to it 😭

And hearing about the update coming soon-ish to ENG servers I really need to read up

Lilia pressuring Epel like the old man he is 😭😭 I love the moments that they remind us just how old Lilia actually is and how he sees most if not all the students as if they were his children/grand children, making sure they get the most out of the party and drink...its giving "What do you mean you're not hungry? Absolutely not. Here Is at least 5 servings of whatever dish I made to help u grow big and strong."

Okay I didn't take a screen shot of it but the entire section where Lilia looked kind of guilty with Ortho about exchanging addresses because you just KNOW he probably isn't gonna check in, presumably because he doesn't want anyone to get More attached to him seeing as he is nearing the end of his life span (crying shaking throwing up)

THIS. THIS. THIS INTERACTION HE HAD WITH US. I LOVE HIM. I AM SO SILLY FOR HIM. I totally forgot I changed my in-game name from my nickname to my REAL name and when he said my name I verbally yelled "WHAT THE HELL" before giggling and kicking my feet hehehehe I'm clinically insane for him

But the fact that he acknowledged us as Malleus friend probably means we've spent a lot of time at the dorms or around Lilia for him to see how our friendship and interactions with him work, and it melts my heart hehe. Being part of the diafam fr. But honestly bro back me up, I'm tired of being called a hench-human 😭💀

I wonder just how bad we must look with everyone noticing the strange shift??? Either we REALLY made a scene (tripping over, going pale) or the twst boys are just that attentive to us and I think that is the sweetest thing ever 😭😭 Ace and Deuce is so sweet for thinking of us and trying to get us out while also being polite to the people who kindly held the party. Despite not being there long, ace and deuce is willing to skip out on free food and drinks in order to make sure you're okay and I'm just 😭😭 ANGELS. I LOVE THEM.

But also the way Lilia worries for you is so sweet 😭💜 I should write a fic of sick reader and Lilia, or reader trying to tough it out because I know for a FACT Lilia would not let that slide! (Hypocrite 😐)

I ACTUALLY DROPPED MY JAW WHEN SEBEK SAID THIS SHIT. I WAS. WHAT. WHAT THE HELL LMFAOOOOO 😭 thats fucking insane bro I actually found myself chastising him thru the phone, I would NOT let that discrimination against humans bullshit pass fr 😭 slap him right upside the head and give him a stern talking to. I like seeing Lilia get frustrated, he's so cute and UGH. Although it went in one ear out the other, Seeing Lilia mad is so hot if I'm being real with y'all rn BUAHAHA.

I didnt screen shot this either (and I can't fit anymore photos on this post smh) but Silvers nose being red and obvious he was crying but Lilia confused. DudE OF COURSE he was crying!!! You're his dad!! You raised him since he was a baby, he's just now going into adulthood and doing that WITHOUT HIS DAD who is going to a far away land! Sure, traveling is a thing , but honestly nothing beats having that support just a moments away. Silver is literally the sweetest and wants to support his dad , but who's going to support him????!?! Lilia is putting him in a position where Silver feels the need to be strong and hide his tears for Lilias sake, but of course this is hard on him, its so sudden, too! Being so close to your parent and next thing you know mere days later they are stripped away from your arms?!

I just want to give them all hugs. Lilia obviously has some issues and misconstrued ideas of love (a million people have made posts and comments on this, so I will not repeat it) and I just. Need them to all sit around and be their mediator while we go thru their emotional states.

Ugh. I was in my twst burnout stage and still low key am, but fuck does it spark so much passion in you 😭😭

Stores I’m taking the TWST boys to and why (brutal)

Cw: light bullying of every boy and half of the stores. Also crackfic material

I’m taking Ace, Deuce, and Grim to Walmart at 3AM. That’s where you go to ride a child’s bicycle, cry in the cereal aisle, and play with toys that you don’t intend to buy and not worry about getting kicked out or banned. It is the only store safe for the braincell trio to go

I’m taking Cater to Starbucks so he can buy a $7 drink and post a picture of it on magicam. Then I’m taking him to therapy

I’m taking Trey to sur la table because he can behave and I think he’d like looking at kitchen equipment like a single 40 year old dad. He and I have to go alone though because I trust him not to get me banned but I don’t trust him not to spend all my money

Riddle is going to Barnes and noble and I’m sitting in the kids section reading picture books while he goes through every single bookshelf. After I run out of picture books I’m sitting in the Starbucks. He’s halfway through the store and moving at a snails pace. Ends up picking out one book so I buy him that and one of the really cute plushies they keep near the kids stuff

I’m taking Leona to the pound target and I’m making him guess how much basic household items are. He will fail and I will laugh at him and shame him

Ruggie and Jack are going to five below. I give them each $25 and tell them to go wild. Jack brings back plant holders and squishmallows while Ruggie has filled a cart with $25 of food and a sleep mask. Now every time we pass a five below they both beg to go in there.

I’m taking Jade to world market because a) they have cute mushroom mugs and soup careens, and b) exotic snacks. He will drain my bank account and I will let him. I am a complete simp for this man

I’m taking Floyd and rook to bass pro shop. We are forcibly removed from bass pro shop after Floyd throws a basketball at a workers face and rook shoots an arrow and almost hits another customer.

I’m taking Azul to ikea. He said he’s really passionate about interior design and likes clean looking spaces so I’m taking him to ikea. I will force him to eat a Swedish meatball. We end up buying pillows and also dunkleskög (we have shared custody of him)

Im taking Kalim to hot topic. He is intimidated but then he sees Sanrio shit and he is THERE bro he falls in love so fast with that little frog thing. End up buying matching best friend bracelets for both me and him and also for him and Jamil

Im telling Jamil that I’m taking him to the grocery store but in reality I’ve stolen his grocery list and I’m leaving him at therapy for an hour. I buy the groceries and drink coffee until he’s done and then we go home. I sleep with one eye open because this boy is anti self care with a passion

Vil and I are going to hobby lobby and stealing materials for Vil’s next film project. We don’t even pretend to hide them and the workers literally don’t care. Vil curses one of the cash registers and doesn’t tell anyone which one, just that he did it. The workers still don’t care because working at hobby lobby is a curse in itself.

It’s not a store but I’m taking Epel to the farmers market. He’s given $20 and ends up coming back with three heads of lettuce, a bushel of apples, two jars of jam, a jug of honey, and $34. I ask no questions and we go home to make an apple galette.

Idia and ortho are going to GameStop. Idia gets in a fistfight with a normie and is immediately hired by GameStop. Ortho comes out crying because he’s proud of Idia for making a friend

I’m taking Silver to a mattress store. We take a nap and get locked inside the building until morning. Spend the night talking and drinking the free coffee. We are banned upon the store opening the next morning (the coffee wasn’t free and we didn’t call anyone to get out)

I’m taking Sebek to a Jamba juice. Not technically a store, but he can yell as loud as he wants and it doesn’t bother anyone

I take Lilia to a guitar store. He plays an amazing ballad on a $4000 bass, then smashes it at the end. We are banned and being sued by the guitar store.

I take malleus to forever 21. He turns into a dragon and kills me

Malleus (real) I take him to lush and he picks out some bathbombs. Now the dragon smells like patchouli and lavender. Neat! And some of the workers there recognized him as a princ-

Well, well, well, dear Travelers it appears you have survived “Professor” Vanrouge’s prerequisite course of Dad 101 and are back for Dad 102… oh dear- well, I suppose since Dad 101 was so well received by you all I see no harm in letting Lilia come back and give you this course. Be warned, it may be a bit hectic…

A Letter From “Professor” Vanrouge:

Greetings mortals! Kufufufu! How lovely it is to see you all back for more, was my prerequisite course to your liking so much you just had to come back for more? Oh I’m touched dears! Way to make an old man such as myself cry tears of genuine happiness~! Now, as I am sure you are aware I provide the finest lessons of how to be the best dad in the entirety of Twisted Wonderland- just look how Silver turned out! Ah but enough of my rambling, without further ado I give you Dad 102! Kufufufu~!

Lesson 1: Blame The Kids!

Lilia was known as the “Phantom Commander” of the Briar Valley, though how he got such a name was rather unpleasant to say the least- many believe it was because of his sneak attacks but in reality it was because he ate a lizard and a toad that truly were not meant for consumption. Even so, such a name got carried down after practically inventing chemical warfare all because a rather “unique” meal. Many of his own men had suffered the near fatal consequences of his culinary war crimes, and those of the enemies suffered just as bad if not worse.

Lilia was indeed the embodiment of silent but deadly in more ways than one.

Years later the name does follow and with it the phantom menace that only appears when a culinary crime is committed and Lilia decides to eat it happily. Unfortunately for Diasomnia and all of Night Raven College is victim to the “Ol’ Who Done It” when the very reason for the hole in the ozone layer is released. It was all thanks to the glorious invention of the microwaveable burritos that his title came back to haunt anyone and everyone within his vicinity after he ate one topped with questionable toads and lizards along with mushrooms he picked up from Jade.

It was in the middle of class during an important midterm exam when he decided it was time to liven (or unaliven) his classmates with a surprise that would knock out any skunk.

3. 2. 1. Commencing chemical warfare attack! Targets in sight, RELEASE!

And with that, the grand tuba of doom sounded in the silent classroom, the room echoed and Lilia smiled proudly at his rather smelly symphony that sent poor Lucius bolting out of the room in terror. His classmates stared at Lilia as he smirked, letting out one last popper satisfied with his perfectly timed disruption. Now to pull off phase two- blame one of the whippersnappers within his vicinity.

Target sighted…

“Oh really, Vil, why would you ever do that~? So unlike you, kufufufufu~”

The Pomefiore Housewarden was speechless, did this miniature menace just blame his bum trumpet on him?! Oh this was not going to end well.

“Vanrouge, I suggest you take that back right this moment as you know I have much more elegance than you, such revolting behaviour is beyond me and I will not have you soiling my reputation with one blame.” Vil growled, shooting Lilia daggers in his stare.

“Well it certainly was not little old me, I mean really, could one so small and cute produce such?! Oh woe is me~”

Vil rolled his eyes and sighed. “Vanrouge, I have unfortunately known you for three years now, yes? You have done this before and nearly killed students in the process- it’s clear your questionable diet is to blame. Pathetic.”

The classmates all looked at Lilia completely unamused, completely aware of what he was doing. Yet again, someone was victim to his bum trumpet blaming. He had blamed first years for one of his attempts at mass extinctions before but to openly blame a Housewarden… this was certainly new territory.

“Nah, we all know it was Lilia… he’s done this before and nearly sent us packing out of the locker room after PE!” One groaned.

“Yeah, he’s blamed me once before when it clearly was him…” came another.

Lilia smirked and then winked innocently, chuckling at his own little disruption. “Oh~? Perhaps it was me~? But there is certainly no proof- oh- oh goodness me~ kufufufufu~”

Yet again, a silent yet deadly one released, a student who was unfortunately sitting behind him fell backwards and passed out- clearly there was no way he could blame someone for this, right?

Wrong…

“Definitely was Vil~ kufufufu~!”

Lesson 2: Halloween Horrors

Halloween was always a fun time of year for Lilia, even more so that he had a child of his own to celebrate it with. This was the time of year where he liked to let loose and give a good fright whenever it was needed- even if it was something as sweet and simple as sneaking up behind his son to surprise hug him or simply tickle his sensitive sides.

The festivities in the Briar Valley capital drew to an end for the Silver and Sebek seeing as Malleus had to lead the two children away from witness Lilia’s horrific dancing any further, getting the two young children to bed would be quite difficult.

“Alright, boys! Bedtime! All tucked in and ready for some sweet dreams~” Lilia cooed softly as he tucked Silver and Sebek into bed, patting their heads and booping their little noses. The two were clearly frightened, trembling beneath the blankets with wide eyes and goosebumps littering their skin. The old fae knew this but shrugged it off believing this would be a fun little lesson in Halloween horrors- after all he still had some little pranks in mind for later to truly test the boy’s fear levels.

“Father… um… could we please keep the candle lit tonight…?” Silver asked with a slight whimper, pulling the younger boy closer to his frame.

“Y-yeah, Sir Lilia…! J-just in case a mean monster comes in! W-we gotta see the target!” Sebek nodded as he clutched his teddy bear tighter.

Lilia only laughed and nodded as he left the room and closing the door behind him. “Goodnight boys! Happy Halloween~!”

Lilia paused just outside the door, smirking as he turned around and quickly opened it back up to hear the frightened screams of the children, “BOO! Kufufufu~!! You jumped like a bunch of frightened kittens~! Anyway, sweet dreams~!”

Silver and Sebek sat still for a solid five minutes completely petrified, tears threatening to pour out of both of their eyes as they stared at the door and then at each other before laying down hugging one another in absolute fear. Both refused to close their eyes, vowing to stay awake all night if they had too no matter what it took. The two eventually vowed to not dare leave the safety of the bedroom, nodding in agreement to their perfectly crafted plan , they laid in bed staring at the ceiling and then out the window to check for any sign of monsters.

“Anything, Silver? No monsters?” Asked Sebek, rubbing his eyes and patting his face to keep awake.

“Nope, nothing yet… *yawn* I think we are safe.” Silver responded sleepily, trying his absolute hardest to stay awake. “If it wasn’t so scary out right now I’d go to the kitchen and get us some water but… um… that would be a bad idea…”

Sebek groaned, knowing full well where the elder was going and how both of them still had a fear of the dark especially on Halloween as well as one other matter that surely was not a wise decision on a night like this.

“Y-yeah… even though Sir Lilia says we should always have water during survival challenges um… not now… uuggghhh…” Sebek blushed a little, remembering how just the week before there was a bit of an accident thanks to downing too much warm milk before bed one night. Silver nodded as well, turning away to hide his own embarrassed blush as he too knew full well how that would go as a similar situation happened once to himself.

“It’s almost two in the morning now, but… *yawn* I’m… not sure how long…*yawn* I’m gonna hold out for…” Silver yawned as he looked at his clock shifting uncomfortably in bed. “……Sebek, I’m- I’m… Zzzzzzzzzz…”

“S-SILVER?! W-WAKE UP!” It was no use, Silver was already in a deep sleep. “S-SILVER! I-I’m scared… Silver… *sniffle*…”

Sebek hated feeling weak, crying and whining just made him feel even worse. Even though he was six years old, the mere idea of crying as if he were an infant was enough to just make his whole being hurt.

“……N-now I want my mama…*sniffle*” he cried a little into his teddy bear’s soft fur and looked around the room for something to wake Silver up, there, in the toy box was a wooden sword- perfect! He just needed to stab Silver’s side with it or whack him and problem solved- well, not entirely. Sebek shifted himself to stand up but immediately regretted it, he knew he should not have had all that delicious apple and butterscotch beverage at the festival… “Uh oh.. uh- SILVER!! WAKE UP!! I need you to be my guard for the potty!!! SILVER!!”

It was no use, snores only emitted from Silver’s lips as he snoozed the night away. Sebek groaned, forcing himself to hold it all in no matter what, no matter how terribly it hurt. He refused to have an accident yet again for a foolish mistake. Clutching the spot between his legs he groaned miserably as he curled up in bed, whimpering in agony and in absolute fear.

Two more hours had passed and Sebek was already withering in sheer agony, unfortunately for Silver that accident had already happened nearly thirty minutes earlier. Sebek was determined to hold until sunrise but that seemed to not be possible as eventually his little body could no longer stand the immense pressure and pain and decided to relieve him of such agony.

Mission failed… once more the bladder won the battle…

Soon enough, sunlight began to peer into the window and Silver eventually awoken to the light and then to the sounds of sniffling and soft cries coming from a certain green haired six year old glaring at him with a tear stained and snotty face.

“TRAITOR!! Y-YOU FELL ASLEEP! YOU PROMISED TO STAY AWAKE!! WHAAAAAAAA!!!”

“Sebek, I’m sorry- uh oh… did we…?” Silver gasped, tears pouring out of his eyes now as Sebek nodded in reply, hugging onto him and bawling loudly. Silver joined in and bawled loudly.

The bedroom door burst open and Lilia entered, worry etched across his face but that soon faded the second he realized what happened, the dark patches on both of the boy’s trousers was enough to send him falling to the floor laughing.

“AHAHAHAHAHA! OH GOODNESS! OH THIS IS- AHAHAHAHA! Silver, Sebek, here I thought you both outgrew the training pants! AHAHAHAHA!”

“F-Father?! We were scared!! We thought there was a monster out there! We didn’t want to leave the room and get eaten by the child eating monster!!”

Lilia only wheezed louder, clutching his sides as he laughed even harder.

“You boys couldn’t take a wee bit of Halloween fun, eh?! O-oh goodness this is absolutely priceless! Silver, I thought I taught you better! AHAHAHAHA! Oh dear- ooohhh! Laundry day it is!”

Sebek groaned, looking at his trousers, face redder than a tomato, utterly embarrassed to have Lilia see him in such a pathetic state. Looking over to his side, he noticed that Silver was just as red faced and embarrassed at what had happened and yet all Lilia could do was laugh at their accident.

“Oh goodness me, this certainly was quite the start to the day, eh? Well, all laughs aside, a bath is needed for you babies and then a nap while I take care of the laundry. Perhaps I should quickly pick up some training pants for you both~?” Lilia smirked as both boys groaned at his remark. “I’m only joking, dears! Big boys like you both don’t need those anymore, but even big boys still need their naps and a post-accident bath~ kufufufufu~”

Lesson 3: So Um… I Think I Misplaced My Child…

Doing laundry when you have a sleepy toddler can be quite the eventful experience, sometimes too eventful especially when said toddler has a tendency to fall asleep at random and in the most bizarre of places from kitchen cupboards, coat closets, the pantry, or even the laundry basket itself- it truly does make an old man like Lilia lose a bit of his lifespan when his little one is nowhere to be found. It gets even more concerning when that very toddler is an animal magnet that could, sevens forbid, potentially attracting a hungry grizzly bear at one point and who knows how that might go. But alas, what was Lilia to do? It is not like it was something he could control.

It was a sunny summer afternoon in the Briar Valley woods, birds chirped happily and a gentle breeze rustled through the trees carrying the scents of earth, wildflowers, and fresh mountain air. Peace was all there was in the woods that afternoon, even more so inside the beautifully decorated nursery Lilia sat in rocking his beautiful little boy to sleep for his afternoon nap. Even though Silver could nap anytime and anywhere, Lilia firmly believed in keeping his son on a nap schedule so there he was, lovingly rocking his child and watching him doze off. The afternoon sun illuminated the room in a soft, warm glow and made the sleeping child’s face appear more angelic than before as a golden glow rested upon his silver hair as if it were a halo.

It would be accurate though, Lilia smiled at the thought of his son being an angel from above- well even with knowing the boy’s origins the child was as angelic as could be. Sins of the past were not his to bear. When the old fae thought about it, Silver really was an angel- he needed Silver as much as Silver needed him.

Lilia stood up once he knew the little one was fully asleep and gently laid him down in his wooden cradle before placing a gentle kiss atop his sweet head and leaving the room. The door was cracked open for emergency purposes and the window left open so if Silver woke up crying, Lilia would hear it from outside as he hung the laundry on the line. The old fae grabbed the laundry basket of wet clothes and the basket for the already dry clothes on the line and made his way out to the yard to tend to the lines.

Some woodland animals approached the cottage, clearly looking for Silver and seeing this Lilia could not help but crack a smile. “Silver is not outside right now, he is taking a nap in the nursery, when he wakes up I’m sure he will love to play with you all.”

The deer and the rabbits all nodded in understanding, knowing that the child was indeed still young and required plenty of rest. The group of animals scurried off from the yard and back into the forest for the time being- many of the animals already knew that Silver would likely sleep the afternoon through and still would be sleepy for bedtime. However, now that was not the case…

In the nursery, one of the bluebird friends flew in and sat himself atop the edge of the cradle, gently nudging Silver’s pudgy face in an attempt to wake him up. Soon enough the three year old opened his eyes and looked to the bird friend of his and smiled softly and sleepily.

“Hello there, you wanna play? That why you woke me up…? Gotta be quiet though, papa might hear!”

The bird nodded, flying to help the small boy pull back the blanket and hop out of the bed and onto the floor. Silver, despite still being sleepy quietly made his way down the stairs and outside, easily avoiding Lilia’s gaze and potential ear range. Even at the age of three, Silver understood that his father liked to sometimes put these headphones on which attached to a portable radio he clipped to his belt when he did laundry or even wanted to nap in the shade with. Thankfully those were on his head and his ears were covered, Lilia happily danced a bit as he hung up the wet clothes on the line.

Silver looked to the bird friend of his and immediately had an idea- hide and seek! Simple!

“Want to play hide and seek? You just gotta count to ten and I hide? Alright let’s go!”

His bird friend chirped in agreement and flew to the nearby garden to count in the bushes while the child hid somewhere. Silver had a brilliant hiding spot in mind, the laundry basket of clean clothes that was behind Lilia. He slipped quietly into the basket, covering up the best he could with all the warm clothing and settled in all cozy. Soon enough, sleep claimed him and he fell asleep in the basket, completely unknown to his father and the bird friend who was having a pickle trying to find Silver.

Lilia then looked down at his watch, realizing that now was a good time to wake up Silver up, he put away his headphones and mini radio and walked upstairs- realizing immediately that something was wrong… the nursery door was wide open and there was no sleeping child in the cradle, Silver must have got out at some point when he was outside…

“S-Silver?! SILVER?! ANSWER ME! SILVER?! Oh sevens… I lost him again! SILVER COME ON OUT!” Lilia began to panic as he frantically looked all over the house for the child.

Silver was a toddler, and toddlers seem to get into absolutely everything and anything- yet Silver knew better than to wander off into the woods and away from the cottage so that certainly would narrow down the search area. Lilia also knew that Silver was excellent at following directions, if he was told to keep close and in the perimeter of the cottage, he would obey. He quickly searched the cottage, opening the closets, cabinets, and even some drawers that he knew Silver could likely fit in to no success. Silver was not in any of the usual nap spots in the house so that meant he was probably outside somewhere… alright now there was a challenge.

Lilia exited the cottage, trying his absolute hardest not to start going crazy in panic over his missing child. He just needed to keep this a secret from the Zigvolts to avoid yet another parenting lecture from Baul’s daughter and even from her human husband. There was no way he was going to sit down for yet another three hour or more lecture of why letting Silver wander off is a terrible idea. Suddenly a flash of blue flew past his face, frantic tweets coming from the small bluebird as it appeared to be looking all over for something or rather someone…

Lilia knew where this was going, Silver probably woke up and decided to play with the pesky bluebird.

“Excuse me, little one, are you looking for Silver? I cannot for the life of me find him and I too am growing worried… he is still technically a baby so I do worry for his safety.” Lilia sighed, extending a finger for the bird to perch himself on. “Oh? So you woke him up to play hide and seek, hmm? Well did you at least get a peek of where he may have went..? No? Hmm…”

The bird left Lilia’s finger and began to fly about calling for the tiny boy while Lilia began to search around himself. Then he heard it- a small shuffle. Surely he could not be hiding in plain sight, could he and in the most obvious of places? He quietly walked towards the laundry basket and paused, listening carefully for any strange sounds and then he heard it again. Small, sleepy exhales and some movement of tiny limbs. Lilia quietly lifted up the towel and there he was fast asleep and curled up in a fetal position sucking his thumb adorably. The old fae awed as h bent down and carefully lifted Silver into his arms to just hug him close, the child smelled of sunshine and fresh clean laundry with a hint of lavender- a fitting scent considering his nap spot.

“You little escape artist, what am I to do with you? Oh yes~ keep you and love you even if you nearly give me a heart attack kufufufufu~”

So who do you think would faint in the delivery of the baby? (Yes this is about your last post)

My bet is Sebek, he just got too surprised and was not ready when he just heard “Oh my water broke” second to Malleus, the weather changed so much because of him stressing over his friend he just had to be put to sleep temporarily, thunder does not go well with snow.

Lilia may not be a first time dad, after all he is the dad that stepped up. But he is certainly his first time with a delivering mother. He was probably in panic mode the whole time….and horrified by the way those holes extended, like dear god, that is not supposed to be shaped like that.

Unless they did C section, which I think it’s better….

Imagine it was twins, dear god.

Listen I just saw a bunch of shorts of mothers experience when delivering and I am both horrified and laughing. It doesn’t do any favors when I have a family member in that work line that tells some facts and stories at the table.

I think in a way they would all be panicking, but more internally. So it’s probably better to keep them away from the delivery room while giving birth 😂

If something such as “my water broke” made these boys faint?? I think their training regimen is going to become harder 😂😂

For Lilia, I can see it go multiple ways. I can see him worry about you and the baby. But he’s going to stay strong and be your support. I also imagine as he used to be a war general, something like giving birth wouldn’t cause him to faint either.

But I can also see him fidget and be hyper aware of everything, thinking of all the scenarios that could happen and what can be done. It’s your voice and your hand that grounds him as much as he grounds you.

But also on the opposite of that, I imagine this new experience for him is something he’s not ready for at all. No matter what anyone says or teaches him. Despite the stories from Mama Zigvolt or Baul. 😂

He’s worried about you and the baby, of all the stories he’s learned that could go wrong. He might try to joke a bit to distract you but you can tell he’s a worried from the desperate way he holds onto your hand as tightly as you do his. 🥺

But the relief and the joy he feels at the baby’s cry has him releasing a breath he didn’t know he was holding. 🥹💚

Oh Anonie, the stories I could tell you about both natural and c-section births 🤣

Just imagining seeing these boys being pale as if all blood was sucked out of them makes me laugh.

Oh god. Lilia as a boyfriend is just so chaotic. He will prank or scare you often, laughing at your reaction and then giving you candy and kisses as an apology, caressing your head while still chuckling a bit at you

Like an old lady you know- a mean old lady

He is that type o boyfriend that would randomly text you “come out to the window/balcony” or send you a photo of your window leaving you confused, and worried. perhaps. Lilia would do it especially if he notices that you were feeling a little bit down, and he will notice it anyway and pretty soon, just to cheer you up.

Maybe he comes to stay or to deliver something you like that he knows you will enjoy when your mood is down. Lilia is a very attentive boyfriend that deeply cares about you, so he is very careful about your moods and wishes, always ready to spoil you a little bit.

Maybe a little too much, but he doesn't mind. If you are smiling and happy, then Lilia is happy too

And while Lilia's hearing is insane (which helps him a lot I imagine), most of the time if you wish to keep things private he will, and act like he knows nothing. However, Lilia is pretty good at keeping secrets so if you want...

While he is a pretty chaotic boyfriend, always doing stuff for fun and often “forcing” to come/do it with him, Lilia is an actually calm and collected boyfriend who clearly loves you deeply.

He avoids fights, as in Lilia would simply talk out about stuff that has been bothering you or him with calm and ready to hear the other side, always calming the situation down if an escalation happens. Lilia is very open about his feelings and needs and expects the same from you two too, although he understands if you need time to do so or not being as open as him.

Random dates? But of course. Like I said before, he will randomly appear in your window, upside down and watching you like a madman just for the fun of it, giving you almost a heart attack, and taking you out on a date somewhere you either didn’t know but may like, or a place that you wished to go to for a while

How did he know? Lilia won't tell you. No matter how much you beg, cry or threaten him with the silent treatment, he won't tell you. He will simply laugh and kiss you, changing the topic.

You two often have gaming nights, but Lilia will force you to sleep after midnight saying you need to rest and isn’t healthy to stay awake all night to play. If you are more than a night owl he will let you stay awake for a little bit, but then he will force you to sleep anyway lmao.

Don't ask why you have to sleep he doesn't, he will make you feel like an infant without problems. And it isn't even something new, a lot of times he will come out with classic dad jokes or say stuff like "oh to be youth" and "my dear I fear I might be too old for that" i hate him plsdkjnl

He likes to hold your hand when in public, but will get much worse if Silver and Sebek are around and he will act even more lovely dovey. The most classic and clichè stuff, just to see them either scoffing or being embarrassed. And Lilia doesn’t often to that much public affection, stuff like handholding and kisses on the cheek are fine, but from him don’t expect too much

Every now and then he will kiss you, but Lilia seems a much more private person who enjoys going out of the scheme a few times just for the fun of it. And to see your reaction, obviously.

If you are the type of being very affectionate, being public or private, he doesn’t mind it at all. In fact, I would say that Lilia even enjoys it, holding you closer so that you will be focused only on him

Lilia is much more affectionate in private; giving you endless kisses, making out constantly, caressing your whole body with such a soft touch, stuff like this. In his room or house, you two are basically attached to one another as Lilia won’t let you go so easily

Especially after waking up, he likes to stay a little bit with you in his arms, sleeping or not, cuddling and kissing your temple before getting up to start a new day. Wake up faster because Lilia is definitely gonna make some breakfast-

Soo since i dont want to give spoilers on boom 7 and we dont know everything on the story, I will go very previous on their meeting as kids (why do the take so long to release a goddamn chapter.)

ANYWAY-

Adeline was known to be the ugliest kid on the village close to Briar Valley. And her father never helped her to think otherwise, so one day crying at the forest, she hears a small noise on the brushes awhile she cries outside the cabin she leaves in. Then, BAM! Little Malleus comes to her with a curious face (either dragon or not), they become friends.

Once they are teens, Adeline goes to RSA and Malleus to NRC. The problem, Adeline made clear, she doesn’t want Malleus. She doesn’t love him. And he is lucky that she stood with him for so long. I think I should sayy, it’s not her fault, like said, Adeline has attachment issues, and she is pretty sure he would be the death of her. But still, Malleus didn’t gave up, he would constantly go to RSA to visit her. So she eventually gave in, and both agreed to be friends.

On the second year, Adeline overhears people saying that “Adeline is lucky she has personality, otherwise Isabelle would left her. And Malleus should have did the same a LONG while ago.” So, one day, she releases her inner beauty to the outside as well, she changes in less than a week, and for others treating her differently. Malleus kept the same, he stood the same. I think this was realization to “this may be the one, but why him?” He would always try to somehow win her heart (little did he know he already did).

On third year, Adeline overblots (between book 1 to 2), her overblot was caused by Adriano making fun of she used to look and saying this why their father left her (a/n: ADRIANO WILL HAVE HIS REDEMPTION ARC, BUT FOR NOW U ALL MAY HATE HIM). So she has an overblot because, it didn’t matter what she could offer her appearance was all that mattered. Malleus waits for her, every single day. Until she wakes up and recover. When she wakes up, he is there fixing the roses and daffodils on the side of her bed, the moment she opens her eyes, she sees the glow in his. This is the moment she accepts she is in love with him. And they date! :3 (dont be happy for so long)

Before Malleus’ overblot, Adeline finally receives a message from her dad: “Meet me, leave everything behind, we can be together as a family again.” And… Well, she does so. She breaks up with Malleus, saying she is going back to her stepmother’s village (which is far away from both RSA/NCR AND Briar Valley) and she doesn’t want him to follow her, bc in her head it was only when she stopped trying to take her dad back he actually came back for her, so probably if Malleus did the same, yk- He overblots on the last night of Adeline in the area, and when everything goes back to normal, she runs back to him. Promising that this time she was going to stay, for their own good.

Adeline didn’t wanted to leave, she would do everything to stay with Malleus, but her inner child needed the healing from her father… Lilia adopted her now :D/j

Me and you would bully sebek and tell him stories about how our world sees faeries

Id force sebek to give me BOTH lilia and silvers numbers

I have a feeling ace would ask both of us out , you first and if you said no then me but you would stop him

I feel like mine and deuces mum are similar so we could bond over that

You and sebek would fight , cuz he would insult me and you would not stand for that

Id probably tell them stupid things about girls that they would believe

Id force everyone to watch me dance and sing , you'd be there willingly

silver just doesn't really have a preference for children. sure, he's open to persuasion but his line of work doesn't really scream 'safe'. I'm sure the public knows that he's very close with malleus' despite only being a knight, and enemies of briar valley would make sure he's no exception to their plans.

so he supposes he'd rather not include a child into his, and your life. for their own good, atleast not so early. but he'd definitely be open when the line for peace is much more clear. he wouldn't wanna restrict you though, if you want kids. then you'd have to talk to him, he will listen. communication is key!

as for the reason why he's so adamant about having kids so early is because of, again. his line of work. he is constantly exposed to danger, he'd hate for his kids to be potentially left without a father. and even he can't imagine a life without lilia. plus, if they somehow know of your existence.. they'd target you instead.

the quantity..🤔 silver would be just fine with one. he doesn't mind another but since he's probably gonna be out most of the time, ensuring malleus' safety. he's just worried if two would be too much for you to handle.

... there is lilia though! silver trusts him wholly.

however. if you do end up with child, or in another case. adopting, he will try his best to aid you. you know, helping you with chores (unless he's the one in charge of it) taking turns, sometimes letting you sleep when the baby starts bawling in the middle of the night.

... he falls asleep with them. how do you know? because you wake up alone in the bed and silver is leaning his head on the bars of the crib, and he's clutching it protectively.. 🤨 you're staring to think the kid took on him (legitimate or not) because they sleep a concerning amount of time.

protective dad mode on 👹 insists to walk to the side where he's exposed to the crowd and you, more of.. closer to the wall where there's not much people. and I believe he'd rather you hold the child instead of him. cause he thinks he's gonna drop it and he wants all his arms to protect you and child... 😞

of course malleus would be more than happy to let silver off. there's plenty of other knights out there that are ready and free but silver seems too suspicious and just refuses because he still values malleus' safety.

speaking of! I'm sure silver learned a few spells, either that, he was taught by lilia or just started studying it after realizing he absolutely must keep you all safe. I tell you, no one would come out alive when they somehow hurt you because they're gonna have an advisor, two higher knights(and an angry dad) and an even more menacing prince on their tail!

silver would 100% shove his baton in someone who put you in danger, or just generally a suspicious person. would stare at people sharply when they made the kid(s) cry on PURPOSE! >:(

taught them to start running when lilia offers to cook, all these years had gone by and his old man's culinary skills still hasn't improved 😞 and would feel dread when he wakes up, coming to know he accidentally fell asleep again and he can smell burning from the kitchen.

sebek....... this man is all their personal alarms. if anything his volume gradually became louder as time passed by 💀 "SILVER AND SILVERS CHILDREN!" the fam could be sleeping peacefully, laying somewhere in a wholesome way and they all just snap awake when sebek screams something.

malleus calls ur child. "child of the child of man." /lh

anyways... well since they're silvers children they kinda have the access to the castle, malleus doesn't really mind. if anything he looks absolutely happy and silver is slowly stressing out because can they stop going to the armory 😰😰 who in their right mind would let kids in a room full of heavy, sharp stuff!

I really can't tell if silver can cook, but he probably can since how else is he gonna feed himself if he won't even consume lilia's abomination of food.. he still remembers the time he literally passed out and ascended the second he tasted it. he rates it 1/10 he couldn't even find the sleep nice because the taste kept haunting him.

I tell you. since silver is a very trusted freind and family of malleus and lilia alike. you'd definitely be granted a very decent home. you won't really need to do anything, it's like your life was already set on luxury (nothing too grand) when you married silver.

a decent home comes an even more decent security system. compared to your home world (earth 🗿) it seems like technology in twisted wonderland is far, far more advanced. but briar valley seems so old school so there's barely technology seen here.

they mostly use spells though! sealing spells, spells that alarm the caster when it's broken through, etc.. so there's some very advanced magic cast on your house because silver, malleus, lilia and sebek is definitely not gonna take chances 💀 yes, this might be ooc but i think they'd be protective, especially when you're a human, silver is as well.

so your life is significantly shorter than theirs. they'll to their best to make sure you don't go too early.

he'd be the calm-type of dad. generally someone very understanding whenever his kid(s) makes a mistake because he knows they're just kids. maybe he's just biased and soft but who knows 🤷‍♀️

he's just the right amount of strict. let's the kids skip school for a few days but if they are looking like they really aren't gonna change and keep ignoring it he'll pitch in a few words. and subtly tell them that you won't be too happy if you find out that they missed a few days.

doesn't get irritated or bothered when the kid(s) just slips in the middle of your shared room in the middle of the night and start squeezing themselves in between you two. if they start pushing him to grab you for themselves he literally does not care and is too happy that they're in the same room. 💀

but if they reach for him instead he'll just sandwich them and pull you closer because love ♡ sleeping with his two/three/etc, beloveds >>

you need to wake him up because he will absolutely not rise when he's feeling so comfortable or else sebek will start yelling at him again about being on time and a possible accident of the master being in danger and he's just there sleeping 🤬

since they are technically human he tries to include human culture in their life even if he doesn't know much about it himself, as a result of being exposed and raised by a fae.

btw he still falls asleep in the most random of places but sometimes with an asleep kid(s) in his arms, up a bookshelf, beside a door, there are a lot unnamed but the tree shade is still his favorite spot though.
