Exploring the Trend of Microdosing: THC, Mushrooms, and Beyond
There’s a growing trend capturing the attention of enthusiasts and skeptics alike in the realm of wellness and self-discovery: microdosing. This practice involves consuming tiny, sub-perceptual doses of psychoactive substances like THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), psilocybin mushrooms, LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), and others. While controversial, microdosing has gained traction for its purported…

Get out of the comfort zone
Life's struggles often lead to the most beautiful transformations. They shape our character, ignite our passions, and deepen our appreciation for the blessings that come our way.
What will my life be if I chose to stay in my comfort zone?
I was just praying for the things I have now. It was a long and painful journey that required immense perseverance and unwavering determination. The road to achieving my current state was filled with challenges, obstacles, doubts, and sacrifices. Yet, despite all the hardships and moments of uncertainty, I can confidently say that every…

Focus on yourself. It's easier that way.
Having grown up in an environment where it was normal for a person to be focused on others’ lives more than their own, I know what it is like to continuously be distracted with the things that are going on around you. Waking up one morning, however, these words popped into my head. “Focus on yourself. It’s easier that way.” After thinking about it for a minute, I felt a rush of calm come over me.
Breaking it down a little bit, no matter what or how we feel about things in our life, what other people are doing or have done will rarely be of any concern to us. For some of us, we were forced to abandon ourselves early in life to cater to the needs of others. Through this, our sense of self and sense of worth became diminished. We stopped caring for ourselves. We stopped caring about the things we enjoyed. We put ourselves down while interacting with others. When other people came around, we abandoned our wants and needs in hopes that it would get other people to welcome us and prioritize us. We then learn the hard way that it won’t, then, we’re left feeling deflated, empty, and upset that we cannot stop this pattern.
Though it takes some time, we need to get to know ourselves on a more personal level. “I’m me and I have lived with myself all my life, of course I know myself!” some of us may say. But then we realize that it’s true. We’re ready to drop our wants and need the second someone mentions that they need us for something, not even pausing first to consider whether we’re able to get the same level of care in return. Both from ourselves and from others.
Sometimes what we need is just to block out the world. We need to ask ourselves “How do I feel about this?” with all of the emphasis on the “I.” If you find that you don’t feel a strong sense of yourself when asking the question, then take some time to observe what may make you feel present. It may be rare that some of us have felt present in our lives because others quickly discarded our person-hood causing us to pick up on the idea that we didn’t matter. But we do matter. We matter as individuals irrespective of what others think, feel, or say about us. Getting ourselves into that unshakeable identity can be difficult at first after years of neglect, but it IS possible.

The Infinite Self
Time Travel and the Nondualistic Journey WithinIn the silence that stretches between thoughts, in the space that houses the cosmos, there exists a philosophy that stretches the bounds of conventional understanding—nondualism. It’s an ancient perspective that posits a simple, yet profound truth: all of existence, the myriad forms and vacuous voids, the dance of particles and the march of time, are…
