“Awww man…..” cursed a firey hair boy. Looking at his phone to the texts of his parents. “Bailed in just an hour in. Great…..” he mumbled. “Oh don’t worry big bro! It was an hour this time!” Cheered a robot child. “Yeah yeah, I know Ortho. I just wished they didn’t bail at the moment.” Said Idia. The eldest look at the text again, ‘we came what we wanted. Sry! Love and kisses’ - Mom. Idia thought of something out if it, “what does that mean?…..” he mumbled. With Ortho zooming off.

The prefects were in Ramshackle group table. Chatting away, with Yuu passing Freya a new sketchbook for designing, Estella playing a new tune, and Isabelle reading away. That’s when Crowley stopped by, “oh look guys. It’s the dead crow.” Giggled Minako. “Not the time. Prefects- I mean. Anyone. Has any of you seen Darling?” He asked. “Birdie? No. I saw her once inside the school.” Said Estella. Everyone had gave a simple short no. No one had seen her. “Strange…. It’s not like her to be wondering off….” The man had a look of worry. The man had checked up on his radar that the girl was on campus. He was sure of it. But he felt dread carry him. Then he get a rock bonk him, “ow!!!” He shouted. “You didn’t heard me.” Said Minako. “So throw- forget it.” He left in a huff. “….. did no one saw her?” Everyone shook their heads and gave their response.

Cater was with them, glancing up. “Oh. I saw her earlier. Chatting with the two uhhh. Helmet weirdos. Walked to the garden area.” Freya glanced over. “And you didn’t bother bringing it up?” “I was mainstreaming. didnt heard the first part sheesh-" but the boy was interrupted, grabbed by the collar by a panicking older shroud brother. “Helmets?? Helmets?!” He shouted. “Were there a blue and pink one???” Cater was surprised. Scared. “Y-yeah! Even some robots! Why?!” Idia froze. All eyes were on him. All eyes…. Idia was racing around, looking for Crowley. Only to find the man standing in the garden. Holding a murky coated chip. “Where’s my child….?” The man asked. Crowley stopped himself, “what?…..” he mumbled. “Look! I know that sounds bad! Don’t freak out-“ “freak out? freak OUT?! MY DAUGHTER IS MISSING SHROUD!!!!” He shouted, his mask fell, revealing an inky substance trailing down the man face. “I suggest….. you take us there…. NOW!” Idia had to do a time out with his hands. “Okay! Time out! TIME OUT-“

The woman fiddled with the holographic system. Revealing the monitor. “See for yourself…” she said. Stepping aside as the group wonder. And the shock cursed their hearts.

Standing alone in the room. Was their friend. Or.

What was even is her…..

Her hair now an inky substance, her eyes a darker shade of a violet blue. And her skin, pale then her own. She looked. Disappointed. “I guess the cats out of the bag now….” She held her hands up high. “Oi…. I was going to tell them…. Eventually….”

The shroud parents responded. “A phantom hybrid…. Can you believe it? We didn’t respond to that distress signal with her overblot but you see this?” As the man pulled a chart. Everything was erratic. “You don’t see this on a phantom. We seen many. But this…. Just never once….” The woman played some recording. And suddenly Darling screeched out a howl, it wasn’t even human at all. More like a monstrous combination of a raven. The woman ceased the sound. And Darlinv immediately changed her figure. Walking around so empty like. “Shame you have to find out like this….. I too be devastes if this happened to me.” The adult Shroud male replied. “It took a moment to capture her. But I must say…. It’s impressive how well she can act.”

OH FUCK DANI IS IN THE BACKROOMS!!!!!!

the new brawler this season is Cordelius, a, um..... mushroom, guy...? they say he was a gardener in starr park, but the toxicity of the place drove him mad; now he's stuck there. oh shit thats LORE!!!!!! nothing we didnt already know but wow!!!!

most of his kit isnt a whole lot; his main attack seems a little on the weaker end, but he is very fast to make up for that. on top of that, his super transports himself and whomever he hits to another dimension where they fight... TO THE DEATH!!! however, the odds are most definitely in his favor, as he gains a speed(!) and reload speed boost while his opponent can't use any gadgets or supers.

there's also spore mind cordelius, the tier 70 brawl pass skin, but frankly i dont care about it. blah blah blah another evil tier 70 brawl pass skin. this is like the third one we've gotten so far, right?

this skin (haunted house 8-bit) sucks dookey im not talking about it.

STONE TROLL LOU IS AWESOME THOUGH!!!! but its the power league skin *among us sound effect*

i actually quite like wood spirit chester. the face reminds me of el muneco from guacamelee 2 :) might not go out of my way to get it however.

finally...

ughhhh i could talk about my gripes with this skin now, but i'll save that for another post. tldr its a fun design but its also a big day for annoying people

there are more skins coming in The Summer of Pirates (keeping to the theme of summer of x) but i dont really care for any of them enough to cover here. which is funny considering griff and surge both got skins for this event.

hes actually so awesome and looks so fun to play mechanically. plus i looooove hot dogs WAIT THATS WHY HES NAMED DOUG BECAUSE. BECAUSE THE THE THE HOT DOG!!!!!!!!!

mechanically he has a range similar to (maybe a little smaller than?) jacky, but with attacks like byron. that is, they both heal and hurt. there's also a bit of a point-blank mechanic in play where the closer everyone is to doug, the more health they gain/lose. i also noticed that the healing and damage arent 1:1, which actually makes me a little peeved since they refuse to do something similar for byron. but its whatever though (-:

moving on, he is the first brawler in the game that is able to revive others and himself! wait what about 8bit with extra life?? ...anyway, his super functions very similarly to gus, but replace the shield with a revive effect. of course, this revive effect doesnt last forever! i noticed that brawlers dont drop their gems if they get revived though, which sounds like he will be really good in gem grab. maybe. idk.

theres also the obligatory recolor skin draco doug. not much to talk about with that though <3

not to mention skin remodels! dark tide carl, iris tara (now stara), smuggler penny, and phoenix crow!!! wow!!! bonnie is also getting some 29 gem skins, unicorn bonnie and footbonnie (LIKE FOOTBALL. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE GUTTER!!!)

finally, the moment some of you have been waiting for...! ARE! BOXES! RETURNING!!!

i audibly cheered when they said that. however the mechanics are coming back in their own unique way. its in a way that i feel is a lot less predatory, so im overall happy with this, er... rework...?

introducing starr drops! you earn drops through winning matches (any kind of match counts) that can range from rare to legendary, much like the brawlers. you also get four chances to upgrade these drops, but the chances seem very small. drops can give resources, brawlers, pins, sprays, icons, and even skins! small caveat, only skins purchasable with bling that are not limited can be rewarded.

they also go into some stuff about how this is an overall buff to resource gain. i'll take their word for it :)

some extra stuff! payload is back, but the payloads themselves have no collision (basically meaning you can walk/shoot through them now. like hotzone but the zones move). takedown my beloved and wipeout my despised are back in rotation. quests can now be completed with more than one (but not every) brawler. speaking of quests, premium quests can now be progressed, even if you havent purchased the premium brawl pass. this makes it all the more sweet when you purchase the brawl pass after the beginning of the season :D

finished yakuza 7 last night. i have nothing to say about the story bc i truly for once never give a fuck im here to make my protag drink baby formula and fight naked men but i enjoyed it even when there was a lot of silly moments that felt like "we just need to get from point a to point b man"

whats really important here is nanba. yu nanba. NANBA. why was i not warned that there was a 41 year old ex-nurse who saves a mans life with fishing line and pokes at the stitches and tells the guy "yeah you have to take that out yourself im not doing it". why didnt you inform me that i would have a stinky lying depressed mage who casts SUMMON PIGEON and gets disappointed when he cant do mouth-to-mouth on another man? he scopes out the best places to take a "nice dump" when he goes somewhere new and considers passing out in fear to be a "defense mechanism". he is the king of bunts. hes the partys princess and is a massive coward but pushes through it anyway. why didnt you tell me ichiban would beat him over the head with the brick of friendship and love to the point that nanba cannot avoid finally confronting the claim that he doesnt have friends or doesnt deserve them. ichiban, if he were to die today, would want his last meal to be the first one that nanba showed him how to make. ichiban could suck this man dry every day for the rest of his life and still not feel like hes done enough to repay him. nanba knows when he lies and lets him keep doing it because it feels good when people are nice to him.

why is nanba a milk freak? why is he addicted to drinking milk after baths and why does he drink spoiled milk? he fights his tummy wars completely silent, stoic and unmoving, as the hand of death passes over him and adachi leaves him to die in the grass. nanba can do addition. why is he forced to do manual labor when he can add numbers? hes a frail mage that falls over if he tries to swing his cane. his healing hands always slide across each party members groin and they always thank him for the help. he lied about stealing medicine but i think his capability to save ichibans life with a thread and a rusty pair of scissors says more than enough. seong-hui destroyed him in a single, perfectly aimed orbital strike at his heart by saying he has nightingale syndrome and is in love with ichiban. DID SHE KNOW? THAT NANBA WANTED TO BE NIGHTINGALE, BUT HES A 41 YEAR OLD MAN-FAILURE? his life is only worth 2500 yen.

he has an agenda against chili shrimp. he eats random mushrooms all the time and almost dies. hes a germaphobe but only in specific instances. he gets asked if he can put off dying for a minute and he says NO. I CANT. IM A BABY. he doesnt know the difference between boxers and briefs and is ready at any time to drop his pants. whenever he wants a change of pace he tears down his cardboard house and rebuilds it, a true engineer and architect of our modern age, upon which pigeons and crows shall perch and shit all over him the moment he leaves his home. he is a self-proclaimed walking red flag and admits he has something deeply wrong with him. He always thinks hes going to die. something is going to go horribly wrong. everything is fucked. life sucks.

The other day my crows were annoying me SO much I actually packed it up and went inside.

I was sitting w the cats on the patio (they get supervised outside time in their tent or on a harness only) and usually we sit out there for a few hours while I do whatever. The crows are usually not around this time of day, they forage elsewhere (I feed & observe them too, hence "my" crows, for anyone who's new).

No. Not today. These corvids were HOME and they were NOT having it. Whatever "it" was. It was... Hard to tell at first.

Crows are uh, discordant by nature, but there's actually a lot of rhyme & reason to it. When you watch them every day you kinda learn their quirks and signals, even their voices and speech patterns. but this day was different. something VERY OUTRAGEOUS was going down and they just would NOT shut the FUCK up about it. none of them. 2 juveniles came screaming into the yard, an adult came and also started screaming, then left with one of the juveniles.

The other stayed in our yard and squaked- I shit you not- for FORTY. GODDAMN. MINUTES. WITHOUT. PAUSE.

At first I was like "what in the FUCK is his problem?! Does he just hate US? How does he not pass out?" and considering that, as soon as I went inside w the cats, he abandoned his post... Yeah, it kinda seemed like maybe they just wanted the yard! Like fine. Sure. We are the problem, I agree. You're a wild animal, you live here, too. I get it! I'll go. Nbd!!! Jesus!!!

I was so fucking wrong. That was not their problem.

So they keep this up for the rest of the day. He left our yard, but no joke, at all points you can hear a crow losing it's whole mind somewhere in the neighborhood, long after we went inside. This started around midday and continued until we were outside eating dinner at around 5/6pm.

That was when EVERY. SINGLE. CROW. IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. APPEARED. AND STARTED SCREAMING IN UNISON.

We actually were like "......😳" like what do you even do when there's literally 50-100 crows just fucking screaming. This is highly unusual. Do you just... go inside?? Is that a portent of some kind? Like... We couldn't even have a conversation. (Also crows are bigger than you probably think. Have you ever seen one up close? No? It's a big ass bird, js. Having that many around suddenly is... Weird.)

But we were VERY curious what their fucking problem was.

So we watched.

And within about 10 minutes of The Screamening, we saw a huge faction of crows split off and take off screaming at top speed,

CHASING A WHOLE HAWK OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!!!!!!!!

Once it was gone they immediately calmed down and went back to their normal, quieter behaviors (even doing the crooning and little croaks/trills that they only do when they feel safe & comfortable). They were VERY pleased w their work and I

I thought the crow was trying to pick on my cats and HE WAS TELLING ME TO TAKE THEM INSIDE BECAUSE MY DUMB ASS DIDNT SEE THE FUCKING HAWK.

Im an IDIOT FUCKING HUMAN so it took me for ever to put together that they were just trying to protect their yard and we happened to be in the safety zone. I feed them and give them water and they know me, so they gave me a warning shout!!!!!! And he was SO DEDICATED like he really did not give up until he saw us go inside. Babie :'( I was making fun of him bc I was frustrated too, I am such an ass hole wtf

The party at Starks compound was going off without a hitch, celebrating the man himselfs birthday. The music was to loud, lights flickering everywhere, and laughter bouncing off the walls.

"Come drink with us y/n!" Thor bellowed to you across the bar montioning you to follow him to the group that was sitting around one of the back tables. You flopped down next to Loki and let out a sigh.

"How are you this evening y/n?" He asked moving his leg over slightly so that he wouldnt have to touch you. That was your power, being able to read people minds with a simple touch, nights like tonight all ways set you on edge with to many people bumping, shoving, touching. The whole atmosphere drove you mad most of the time.

"Handling it." You forced a smile looking over at him. "Alcohol helps repress it." You said picking up your drink and giving a silent cheers to the handsome man that had decided to dress in a black dress shirt and dark colored jeans. You threw your head back and took the shot.

"Starting the party stong this evening y/n?" Tony asked raising his eyebrow at you.

"Putting everyone elses thoughts on the back burner for tonight Tony." You said smiling sweetly at him before taking another shot.

"So whos on babysitting duty tonight then?" Bucky laughed looking around the table.

"I'm not that bad-"

"Thor had to pull you off the bar last time before you started stripping." Your face turned bright red as you glanced over to Thor whos face was the same color mounthing out sorry.

"Dont worry I've got her this time." Loki laughted taking a sip of his wine.

"Babysitter." You rolled your eyes again taking a sip of the mixed drink that Nat had put in front of you making sure her hand grazed your.

Loki seems quite excited to be on babysotting duty tonight, you might be in for another private stripping session tonight.

You shot her a look that sent her into a fit of laughs.

"Another round then!" Thor yelled at the bar tender. "We are celebrating the Man of Iron tonight." You sighed slouching back in your chair.

"Relax, darling, I've got you tonight." Loki whispered leaning over to you. "I won't let you make a complete fool of your self."

As the night grew so did your buzz, your cheeks were getting warmer, and the dress you had on now started feeling constricting. You started pulling at the bottom and then neck.

"Your fidgeting darling." Loki said placing his hand on your leg causing you to jump.

"My dress is to tight. I just need to get up for a second." You said standing to walk over to the bar.

"Dress to tight?" Steve asked looking over at Loki.

"She had to get up for a moment." At that moment there was whistling coming from the dance floor.

"Umm, babysitter." Tony said pointing behind Loki. As he turned around he noticed that you had already started to pull the dress up more than you should have. Loki jumped up running toward you.

"Y/n, what are you doing?" He said grabbing your hands causing your dress to fall back down.

"Lok, I'm hot. So freaking hot. This dress, its to tight. I need it off." You said trying to shake him off.

"Come on then, lets get you out of here." He said pulling you out the door. You bumped into a man standing near the door.

Wish she would have finished. He doesnt deserve to be able to see all that undressed.

You stopped suddenly looking at the man before raring back and punching him in the face. "I dont think its any of your concern who sees me like that." Loki stopped and stared at you before escourting you out of the crowed room.

"Asshole." You huffed behind him. He was able to lead you to the floor where his room was. "You could have just taken me back to my room so that you could go back." You sighed flopping down on his bed. The buzz had slowly started wearing off but the room was still spinning.

"Its ok y/n. Besides if I'm taking care of you then I cant go back to that overrated party then can I?" He laughed sitting next to you.

"I get so tired of being able to hear what people are thinking. It is literally exhausting. Trying to find somewhere to sit thats not to close to someone. Especially one of the guys, all of yall are perverts. Course the girls are just as bad most of the time." You put your head in your hands tearing up. Nope, the drunk still wasnt over.

"The power that you have makes you you y/n. If you didnt have that power you wouldnt be here with your friends."

"Yeah friends that I can hug because im afraid that I might hear something that I shouldn't. I made that mistake once. I hugged Steve not even thinking and he was thinking about Nat. Like thinking about something that no one but those two should know about. After that I just stopped touching everyone. Do you know how bad that sucks?"

"Ah, touch starved." He said laughing. "May I try something?"

"Its no use, everyone tells me they can shut it all off but theres always something on their minds." You shrug.

"Give me your hand." He saod placing his hand out palm up. You begrudgingly put your hand in his causing him to smile. "Well?"

"I think im about to be sick." You said jumping up and running to his bathroom silently thanking Tony for sticking with one layout for every room.

"Oh dear." Loki said following you in there and grabbing ahold of your hair that had fallen. "I think you will live." He helped you sit on the side of the bathtub as he got a clean rag for you to whip your face.

"I'm sorry you got stuck with me tonight." You whispered closing your eyes.

"Stop that nonsense. I volunteered for it. I knew what was coming." He laughed as he walked out to his room to get you a clean shirt. "Now tell me. Did you hear anything when I touched you?"

"Actually no, I didnt even realize it when you was pulling me from the party." You said putting the shirt next to you. "How?"

"I can 'turn it off' if that makes any sense. Telepathic people drive me insane. Always trying to figure out what your thinking. I learned at a young age how to block stuff like that out. Wanda tends to be the worlds worst."

"Its nice. The quiet. I havent had that, ever." You leand your head aginst the cool wall closing your eyes.

"Hey, no no no. Lets get you changed and laid down in bed before you pass out." He pulled you to your feet and looked at you. "Do you need assistance?"

You laughted as him. "No. Its fine ive got this." You pulled your dress off and pulled his on before walking out and flopping down on his bed.

"Do you mind holding my hand? Its nice not having to worry about what i might hear." Loki laid down beside you and placed his hand in yours.

"If you ever need some quiet time you are more than welcome to come find me." He sais placing a kiss to your temple before you fell asleep.

Renorarc Week Day 8: FREE DAY

So i found out about Renorarc Week halfway through, so i didnt have enough time to make more than one entry. Its the first draft, and more outline than fic, but i wanted to share something. Heres Day 8: Free Day which ive chosen to do as Reunion

When Jaune and RWBY come back to Remnant, they pop out where they entered: Atlas

When they come through they see the destruction of the cities, streets still flooded by about 10 feet

They're standing on a rooftop or a cliff when they hear a airship

Qrow, Robyn, Elm, Harriet, Marrow, Maria, and Pietro have managed to stabilize Amity Colosseum and its where they've been staying. When RWBYJ came back it alerted their sensors so Qrow and Robyn came in their sole airship to check it out

Qrow gets pulled into a hug by his nieces. He thought they made it all the way to Vacuo, he had no idea about what happened inside the portal realm and how they all fell

Qrow and Robyn take them back to Amity. Ruby is the one to tell Pietro about Penny. No one mentions what Jaune did, though Weiss does correct Pietro when it becomes clear Pietro thought Penny died by freezing in the atmosphere and falling off of Amity, not by fighting Cinder

A few days pass. Food supplies are almost gone. Pietro has been trying everything to get a signal high enough to call for help (since they are in a communications tower). Their last ditch effort is going to be Qrow flying the airship as far as he can before their limited fuel runs out towards the nearest town, and flying himself the rest of the way in his crow form.

They manage to do it, they have to sacrifice gravity dust from Amity to send what is basically another satellite up higher, but it works. They not only have a signal but a far reaching one. Its weak and finicky but Pietro figures its high enough for global communications.

Weiss asks if its strong enough to call Winter, Pierto tells her to give it a shot. She does. Winter's voice keeps cutting out but they can hear her. Winter passes the phone to her mother and when Weiss hears Willow crying she takes it off speaker and they all give her a little privacy.

Weiss comes back and says everyone thinks they're dead. That they should call the rest of the group to figure out whats going on down there. Jaune calls Nora while Yang is going to call Oscar and Blake is going to call Ren

Jaune's scroll rings for the longest time. Nora picks up and by her response its clear she didnt check to see who was calling. She sounds a little out of breath so Jaune says "did you misplace your scroll again?" and he just hears her breath hitch. "Jaune?" "Hey. Yeah its me." "Jaune." "Yes" "Jaune!" "Nora" "ARE YOU ALIVE" "Yes" and through the static Jaune can hear Nora sobbing and what may be a threat and Ren's name is said a few times

Jaune vaguely notes RWBY all passing their scrolls around to talk to Oscar and Ren

Jaune starts tearing up a little because he's just now realizing he could of actually died and never seen Nora or Ren or anybody really ever again

Jaune just goes "i missed you too" because its all he can really say. Theres silence while Nora's sobbing turns to sniffles. "I love you. I love you so much. You know that right" and Jaune replies "yeah. I love you too"

Nora doesnt want to get off the phone with him, but RWBY and Qrow are all done talking to Oscar and Ren so they're patiently waiting for Jaune to swap scrolls. No one wants to hang up and risk losing the signal. Jaune tells Nora that RWBY's here and they wanna talk to her too, and she chokes up again. Jaune hands his scroll to Ruby, who has tear tracks on her face

Weiss hands him a scroll, and he sees it has Oscar's contact on the call screen. Jaune says a watery "hey Oscar". Oscar is happy, if a bit watery too, to talk to him. He gives Jaune the rundown of whats happened while they were gone.

Eventually he hands Oscar off again and someone hands him Ren. "Jaune? Jaune is that you?" "Hey buddy" "its so good to hear your voice again" "its good to hear yours too". Jaune can hear Ren sniffling on the other side of the scroll and the voice cracks in his voice. They just kind of sit in silence for a while, with only a few words thrown back in forth. The static starts getting worse. Jaune promises he'll see Ren soon. That he'll call him and Nora the next chance he gets. Ren ends the call with "i love you" and Jaune says it back.

Everyone is exhausted after that. Its been nearly 2 hours. They talk a little about whats happening in Vacuo but most of them call it a early night. Pietro says help will get here by tomorrow afternoon.

Jaune glances at his own scroll when its returned to him and sees he has 23 text messages from Nora, two from Oscar, and one from Ren. He spends the night sending and receiving very slow text messages.

When RWBYJQ get to Vacuo, the old fashion way, theres a welcome party waiting for them. Sun actually picks up Blake when he hugs her, and she yells at him to put her down. Jaune meanwhile has just got bulldozed by Nora and is now blinking stars out of his eyes. "Ow"

Nora crushes him in a hug before letting him sit up, and even then she still has a leg thrown over his lap. She's kissing his face all over. She gets his mouth a few times, Jaune doesnt mind. He's actually laughing a little and puts his arms around her waist.

Him and Ren have the longest hug of Ren's life. Ren buries his head in Jaune's neck and just stays there for two minutes. He only moves so Oscar can join.

Ren and Nora find excuses to touch him the rest of the day. Brushing shoulders as they walk, pressing legs together when they're sitting, hands on his shoulders and his back, hand holding. Nora eventually parks herself under his arm with her arms around his waist

When he goes to bed that night he's sharing a tent with Nora and Ren. Nora demands he's not leaving her sight and she drags him over to her sleeping bag. She curls up to his side and holds onto him like she did all day. When Ren enters the tent he comes straight over and takes up Jaune's unoccupied side.

That ends up becoming Jaune's nights: sharing a bed with Ren and Nora

When Ren and Nora get back together, that doesnt change

Jaune doesnt realize its weird. Ren and Nora's relationship on a break and Ren and Nora's relationship when they're dating are very similar. Its not like there was a huge development for him to realize that maybe he shouldnt be there. But its not just him, Ren and Nora always end up in whatever bed or sleeping bag he fell asleep in that night

Heck they both kiss him goodnight when they kiss goodnight

Its not on the mouth but still

The problem is none of them realize they're dating. Ren and Nora's relationship was ambiguous for the longest time. And Jaune went half a school year not noticing his roommate was in love with him.

It takes splitting up again to really make that connection

They're on their way back to Beacon, to protect the last vault. Something happens, and the whole group gets split up. Everyone agrees they'll meet back up at Beacon. Jaune, Nora, and Ren all ended up in different groups

Jaune's group gets to Beacon first. Its not abandoned, but the only people there are staff and thats only because Glynda refused to leave the relic unguarded. Ruby's father is one of the huntsmen there, a favor to Glynda. Ruby is very excited to see him, but everyone has mixed feelings about being at Beacon again.

It takes two days for the next group to make it. Neither Ren or Nora were a part of that group, but Yang was, and she's also excited to see her dad again

Nora's group comes the next morning, Jaune has no warning before he's face down in the courtyard because Nora decided to announce her arrival by bulldozing him over from behind

Nora actually wants to nap, and drags Jaune with her, but later they go and re-explore Beacon. Tai sees them walking around holding hands and laughing and asks Ruby "oh, are they dating?" "No dad, Nora is dating Ren. Her and Jaune are just teammates". Taiyang "entire team" Xiao Long simply goes "yeah, sure. Thats it."

They get to the spot where Nora found out about Pyrrha, where Yang was bleeding out next to her, where she heard Blake's hopeless sobs, the spot where she couldn't even stand up to keep fighting and just sat there in horror, holding onto Ren's hand because thats all she could do. And she decides she needs to make it perfectly clear how she feels about Jaune.

Jaune looks at her concerned, asks if she's okay. Nora simply turns towards him and grabs both his hands. "I need you to know how much I love you. I don't want to think about a time where i dont and one of us isnt here anymore-" "Nora-" "i love you. I love you so much it hurts sometimes. I love you more than ive ever loved anyone besides Ren. I love you LIKE i love Ren. I cant picture a future without you in it and i never want to. I just care so much about you Jaune-" and Nora's crying. Jaune pulls her into a hug. With their height difference Jaune actually has to lean down to rest his head on top of hers. He rubs her back and kisses her hair and they just stand there swaying for a time.

Jaune, with some hope, eventually asks "so when you said you loved me like you love Ren, what did that mean?" "It means im in love with you dummy" "Really!?" "Yes really" and Jaune looks so happy and so cute Nora just decides to go for it, she grabs him by the collar of his chest plate and uses it to pull him down and herself up to kiss him

They share a few more sweet kisses, smiling and laughing to much to do more than that

Ren's group makes it that night. Its well past dark, and they had a few close calls. All he's thinking about is sleep and wanting to make sure his teammates are safe. Someone points him in their direction and he heads off to find them

They're set up in the dorms, but a different building than their original dorm. He trudges up there. They're in the common room in the dark watching a movie. They're curled up on the couch, Jaune has his arm around Nora. Ren sees this and gets hit with a wave of affection.

He enters the room and walks up behind the couch. He leans down to fold his arms on the backrest and waits for them to notice him

Nora does first. She turns around in her seat and leans up to hug his neck and give him a big kiss on the mouth. Jaune turns to say hello and Ren's sleep drunk brain decides to have Ren lean down and kiss Jaune on the mouth.

Its a much longer kiss then Nora gave him. Ren breaks away to see Jaune smiling. It takes a minute for him to realize what he did. Nora giggles at the face Ren makes. Jaune's still smiling. Ren goes "screw it ive wanted to do this for a while" and grabs Jaune's face to kiss him again. Nora cheers.

It turns out sleep deprived Ren has much less control then regular Ren, and next thing he knows he's pushed himself almost all the way over the couch back, his tongue is in Jaune's mouth, and Nora is making excited comments. "Sorry" "no its fine. Its more than fine"

Ren pretty much passes out after that. But he thinks this reunion was a lot better than the last

Please rant to me about avian hybrid/ Lion hybrid/ enderman hybrid c!Niki headcanons and au's. I NEED MORE of your c!niki banter cs I have already read your fics 3times over and over again.

SHJHJSHJSHJSHJSH GIVE ME GENDER EUPHORIA AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE

i'll give some hcs for each

Avian Niki

niki is either a crow hybrid or an angel hybrid. on one hand crow niki is funny to me on the other hand badass angel

her feathers, ironically, stay white during her 'villain' arc because yaknow symbolism

when she was going out with puffy, she'd let puffy preen them

because she was the only other winged hybrid, quackity trusted her to preen his own wings

in return he preened hers while she was in jail

she used to fly with puffy because love <3

during her isolation arc, she takes out feathers as an unhealthy coping mechanism, reasoning to herself that there's no need to preen if she doesn't have any feathers left (yes it's morbid)

eventually tho she just. doesnt even wear clothes for her wings

she just hides them underneath, which is of course VERY uncomfortable

they get worse and worse and ache more and more and she wants to fly so badly but she can't unless she preens them and she can't because she just can't!

when she joins the syndicate, the first thing phil says during their second meeting is: "hey niki didn't you have wings? what happened to them?"

his voice is tinged with sympathy; he knows what it's like to not be able to fly

she freezes, just stops moving, then starts to cry

phil is worried he's done something wrong, but then she reveals that she's kept her wings hidden under wil's coat and cloak all that time (note the symbolism)

he immediately is like "what the FUCK" when he sees them because there are feathers falling when it's not even shedding season yet?? also there are a few in places they shouldn't be at all? there are some fucking missing?????

long story short it takes multiple hours to get them back in place

niki passes out during it because it's been so long since she hasn't been in constant pain

when she wakes up, phil insists on keeping her there to preen her wings

also the syndicate has a long discussion about what happened and they promise each other and themselves to help her get better

Lion Hybrid Niki

she purrs end tweet

no but seriously this girl will purr to end and back

she purrs louder than ranboo which is SAYING something

she loves the scritchy scratches behind the ears. like REALLY loves 'em. she'll just- once you give her scritches she just. surrenders and leans into it. her purring sounds like a fucking jet plane when she gets the scritchies

she can roar, she only uses it to intimidate people tho

her self-worth is just. deeper than bedrock. she has no self-worth

she and puffy are working on it but she still... needs help

sometimes she gets phantom pain from her declawed fingers. she's found out it hurts less when she massages it, but she can't actually reach it, so she asks puffy to do it, and puffy can't help but feel guilty each time she sees the stumps

also niki hates getting her nails trimmed. like HATES it. even if she doesn't want them growing as long as they did before, the idea of something sharp near her fingers after what happened just makes her blanch

eventually tho she does have to do it

she hugs puffy while ant cuts her nails, and puffy whispers sweet, reassuring comments to her.

like

"you're doing so good. i'm so proud of you" and "we're almost there. you okay? we're gonna get through this."

sometimes tho niki just.. can't handle it. but she doesn't want to disappoint puffy either so she tries to just get through it anyways.

puffy notices her discomfort and asks her if she wants to stop. niki hesitates before nodding.

"niki, you being comfortable is so much more important than this. we can do it tomorrow, okay?"

Enderman Hybrid Niki

makes littol enderman noises. sometimes when she's stressed, sometimes just idly, sometimes when she's happy!

she has a tail because how can i not give her one

also she has pawsies and hands like magpiebur by @/nightferns (BECAUSE I LOVE THE WAY THEY DRAW WILBUR'S PAWWWS)

can withstand water a little better than ranboo, being more human than him

it still burns though

she just has higher pain tolerance lul

also can touch snow unlike ranboo because she's half human, half enderman

her ears and tail twitch whenever she's anxious

didn't really like eye contact, and the l'manbergians respected that (esp eret who didnt like people staring at their eyes either) until schlatt came along and basically forced it, so she kinda forced herself to do it from then on

unlike ranboo however, she doesnt go into enderwalk. she actually hasn't got an enderwalk because ranboo got it from nervous habit and it 'evolved' from there (my hc anyway), she instead literally gets hurt

like it hurts her to make eye contact

ranboo sees that she makes eye contact despite being an enderman hybrid and is like: "...HOW???"

she's just like "oh i force myself to do it lul. cause everyone expects me to anyways. it hurts after a while but its fine"

he just goes completely silent after that, then tells phil and techno at the syndicate meeting (while niki is admiring steve) not to hold eye contact w/niki because it hurts her

techno: "HEHH??? she seemed fine when i visited her!!" ranboo: "yeah she's been hiding it this whole time because society expects her to do it." techno, an adhd fella: "..phil where are the adoption papers-"

niki's confused by the end. why did nobody look at her? why did nobody maintain eye contact with her??? did they not like her?

but at the end phil explains that they thought that because she was an enderman hybrid she wouldn't like it (they're lying to not throw ranboo under the bus)

niki just stares, then starts to cry because holy Shit they are so nice

"nIKI NO YOU'RE BURNING-"

used to bite her tail as a way of self-harm. techno was VERY concerned when he saw the bite marks, but niki just lied and said that it was a dog attack

he knows for a fact it wasn't a dog because he's been bitten and his furniture has bites and it didnt look like that

more like that One Time when Ranboo bit him while he was in his enderwalk state

cue him connecting the dots and being like "...WAIT"

niki also really likes blocks. like we all know her city is weird in some parts because it's built with different blocks, signifying niki's jumbled up mind while planning to kill tommy. but in the enderman hybrid niki hc, its also partly because blocks feel nice and she wanted to feel different ones

her tail curls around the legs of people she likes. so far, it's gone around: wilbur, tommy n tubbo (those two specifically during pogtopia), fundy, eret, puffy and the rest of the syndicate

whenever puffy made her flustered she'd blush either green or pink. no inbetween. puffy was very confused and thought niki was disgusted by her at first and was all :(( before niki explained her wack biology

The Brothers reacting to an MC who likes to collect... rocks?

It was certainly a strange hobby to behold, but there were more than meets the eye within these rocks! If you crack them open they often hold such a wonderful design, and on the rare occasion they can probably even hide a geode or two, regardless, you were very passionate for these things and it just so happens that it catches some of the brother’s attention.

(A/N: Ill be doing 2 at the time for now UwU

~ 눈_눈 Lucifer ~

* Lucifer always kept an eye on you ever since you got to Devildom

* Cuz of this, he was probably the first to notice your... strange addiction

* He saw how you always seem to stop on your tracks to pick up a shiny smooth stone lying on the side of the gates infront of the HoL while he walked home with you.

* Or how you’d snatch a few from the gardens on an early Sunday morning when you think that everyone was still asleep

* Since it was harmless enough, he never really bothered to call you out on it 

* Lowkey does find it cute how something so small can already make you so happy, such an easy-to-please cutie you are

* It wasn’t a problem till he was told that you seem to be arriving late more often for your classes 

* At first he thought that maybe you were simply caught up in some mess from his brothers again 

* Maybe perhaps Belphie snuck you off to sleep again than go to class 

* But no, when he’d confronted you he was pretty surprised, and at the same time, confused at your answer.

* “There were these cool looking red geodes I accidentally found on the back, b-but I mustve dropped them at some point when Mammon and I were rushing to class...so I’ve been trying to look for more of them for my collection... Sorry...”

*To be fair you did look pretty apologetic for it and really didnt mean to botch up your schedule, but still.

* He lets you go pretty easily, with a small lecture, but thats about it. 

* Although you never did stop looking for that geode, you even pulled Beel to help with promise of a homemade cake to try and cover as much ground, but nothing.

* You came home that day a little defeated

* but much to your surprise when you reached your room, a small box was waiting outside your door and inside was none other than the beautiful red geode youve been so desperate to look for. And... well, you didnt have to guess who was kind enough to give it to you.

* The next day, you do go over to thank him properly for the help, and explain that you had been extremely captivated with that specfic geode because of how it reminds you of the first born’s eyes.

* This boi is highkey stunned but tryna make it lowkey though (pride 100)

 * Definitely amused and flattered. 

* From now on, he does continue to give you geodes to add to your collection, and would even accompany you on your little endeavors if his work load isnt too unbearing. Away from the eyes of his brothers of course.

* Hed definitely want to seek the perfect geode too that reminds him of you in return that he can decorate on his desk while hes working. Even better, maybe have the geodes crafted to a perfect ring that you two can wear.

~ ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ Mammon ~

* Not like youre complaining either

* Today was another weekend, and weekends mean you guys get to hang out!  

* Not like you two were ever seperated in the first place anyways, he’s like an octopus that just wont let go 

* Anyways, He casually enters your room, phone in hand as he scrolls through various articles featuring his modelling work, he was gonna show off as usual, afterall, this man LIVES for your praise.

* “Oi! (Y/N) Check this out! They ranked me number 1 on the most handsome model in Devildom! And I didn’t cheat the system this ti---”

* You had been busy in your cabinet when he walked in, so you didnt have time to warn him of your mess on your bed.

* Hence why, when he was starting to brag about his latest achievement, it was immediately cut off by a pained yelp.

* Mammon, too busy on his DDD, didnt notice the shiny geodes and stones you had left on your bed to arrange for your new dsplay case, and because of this, (his dumbass) plopped on the bed, landing right on the sharp edges of the beautiful rocks.

* It wasnt fun.

* You had rushed to help him as he started stroking his back from the sting, he was a demon so he was pretty sturdy, but cmon, landing on a buncha hard rocks was still not good.

* You did rush to go get him an ice pack for his poor back, and when you came back, he seemed to have been healed almost immediately as he stares at your collection with a big shine on his own eyes, they can rival the geodes at this point.

* “(Y/N)! Why didn’t you tell me you had these? Don’t yknow how much these would sell? Hell, I can even probably sell them for an even higher price!”

* The rolling of your eyes was very intense that Diavolo could feel it from his castle and you pushed that ice pack on his face to make him stop.

* You did make it very clear that if he ever decides to try and get any of these stones, you were gonna be snitching him to Beel for eating his pudding the other day (You wouldn’t though would you?)

* Still that does shut down his money making plans, but he does question you for it, why hoard these valuable items when you could make thousands of grimm for it? You even seem to have a talent for finding these too, it seems like a huge waste, and so you proceed to explain to him your love for these shiny geodes.

* First image in his head was you being a relative to a crow, or you being a crow in general, because if anything, thats what his little crows do, they pass him shiny stuff they find along the day, of course theyre not as extravagant as these geodes, but it doesnt negate the fact you definitely have crow energy, and hes so down for it. His love for you just grew tenfold.

* But who knew it can grow further? Because you eventually explain to him that the geodes you collected, or the simple stones you had, all were special because all of them hold a special memory. One of the smoother stones you had was the same stone you used to display your mom’s favorite rose garden, it even had your initials that you scrapped on when your were 5, another was a geode you found on your field trip at the human world and so on.

* Mammon definitely had his attention to you the entire time, this boy is smitten and he just loves hearing you talk about each one, he grows a small appreciation for them now and he can understand why you wouldn’t want to sell them away. But then he noticed you reach for a much cleaner, tear drop looking geode, it was a blue-yellow mix.

* You explain to him that this was your first geode found when you went here in Devildom, the first you also carved as it was more jagged than this when you found it, and of course, you chose to keep it cause it reminded you for your first man.

* Mammon was so moved,and he was just sitting there, red as a strawberry and mouth open like a fish out of water, but hes not the only one because you too were blushing like an idiot as you held the special rock.

* He does end up trying to act his typical ways, but he was nothing but a stuttering mess, and much to his embarassment, he was also tearing up.

* Please hug him, he needs it, he just cant help but feel so flattered that you dedicated a geode for him and he felt that pride and love swell to incredible levels, you definitely have him yearning for you even more.

* Next time you go out to seek more geodes here in Devildom, he might just come with you along with his army of crows, and even cuter, his crows would just hand you special rocks every now and then.

* This boy might just start his own collection now thanks to you, but most his geodes will just be dedicated to you

AU: Soulmates can have a different way of finding their partner. Yours is after both partners are at least 18, on the youngers birthday, they will swap bodies. They have to share their first of something together in order to return to their respective body. (Ex. Sharing their first kiss, first drink etc.)(If one has already kissed or shared a drink, for example, it wont count as sharing a first) Oikawa's is knowing what their first words to you are.

Today was finally your birthday. That meant that you would get to find out who your soulmate was. You were nervous but knew about it so you were prepared. A little.

You were getting dressed to go to school today and thankfully it was the end of the week so you'd have all weekend to find your soulmate. What nice and convenient timing. You did your morning routine before getting changed into your uniform. After pulling up you striped brown pants and adjusting your white jacket, you slipped the red tie around your neck before grabbing your things and heading downstairs.

You said a quick goodbye to your mom after stealing a toaster waffle and your lunch. You slipped on your shoes and headed out to school.

On the way there, you ran into Iwaizumi and Oikawa. You were very good acquaintances but not close enough to consider friends, like hanging at each others houses kind of friends. You and Iwaizumi shared class together but the three of you almost always walked to school together.

"Happy birthday (Y/n)-kun! You're finally 18 right?" Oikawa asked, slinging his arm around your shoulder and leaning on your slightly smaller frame. He poked your cheek gently as you ate, trying to get a reply out of you. "Shittykawa, cant you see he's eating something? Let him chew first." Oikawa pouted slightly at his "nickname" and sighed.

You finished chewing and nodded. "Yeah, I'm 18 today. I'll find out who my soulmate is tomorrow and I really hope it isn't you." You said in a serious tone as the three of you continued walking to Aoba Johsai. Oikawa whined on the way there with Iwaizumi butting in to shut him up.

The trio finally made it to school and went their separate ways, aka you and Iwaizumi in one and Oikawa right next door.

The day started and went on normally til lunch.

Iwaizumi and Oikawa usually go to their practice but today they invited you to eat with them. You accepted not exactly knowing why.

"So (Y/n)-kun~ Who do you think is your soulmate?" You shrugged as you ate your bento, glancing up at Oikawa. "You really wanna know?" You asked taking another bite. Oikawa nodded as he ate his own bento. Iwaizumi smirked over to you as he ate his lunch as well. "You should tell him (L/n)-san."

"I hope it turns out to be Kageyama."

Oikawa practically snorted out his drink and stared at you in shock. "You cant be serious?! Him?!" You laughed at the water running down his face and shook your head. You grabbed a napkin you had and wiped the pretty setters face. "Of course not."

Oikawa let out a sigh of relief. "I'd want Daichi to be my soulmate." You said in a dreamy tone as Oikawa choked on his rice. Iwaizumi had nothing today besides laughing at the scene in front of him. Oikawa leaned on his good knee over to you and gripped your shoulders. He shook you gently as he cried, saying something about 'anyone but the wingless crows.'

Iwaizumi pulled him off you after a minute and scolded him. You finished up your bento and checked your phone. There was 40 minutes of lunch left when you looked to the best friends. "So, what did you guys invite me to hang for?" Iwaizumi looked over to you and tilted his head slightly. "Are we not allowed to invite a friend to hang out?"

You leaned back on your hands and closed your eyes, letting your head fall backwards. "You are, it's just, weird. The Cap and vice Cap of the volleyball team invite a lowly art club member to hang out at lunch together. Sounds a bit odd doesnt it?"

Iwaizumi nodded and Oikawa didnt respond. You lifted your head up to see Oikawa a bit of a distance away, surrounded by a flock of girls. "Its your turn to pull him away. I'm gonna go check something." You sighed and stood up.

"Hey, shittykawa." Oikawa instantly turned around at the nickname and his fan girls became upset with you calling him that. "(Y/n)-kun~ You're taking after Iwaizumiii~" He said walking over to you. "And we were supposed to be hanging out." You said acting all coy. "You promised me we would this morning..." You whispered just loud enough for everyone to hear.

The girls were jealous and talking amongst themselves as Oikawa just looking at you, shocked. He had a deep blush covering his cheeks as you folded your hands together in front of you and looked to the ground with a pout. "(Y/n)-kun..." You looked up to him with puppy dog eyes. He suddenly wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a tight hug.

"(Y/N)-KUN! IM SO SORRY!" He said as if he actually forgot he promised you to hang out. You smiled and giggled, gently prying him off of you. You grabbed his hand and started to walk with him. "C'mon. Let's go back to our spot." You said as you watched the lady flock disperse. Oikawa followed along, apologizing for forgetting a promise he never made.

Once the two of you were alone you sighed and let go of his hand. "Oikawa." He shut up and looked up to you with teary eyes. "You didnt promise me we'd hang out. Its ok." You may be mean to Oikawa but theres something about him that you love. You just cant be mean to him all the time... Ok yes you can but sometimes you want to be nice to him.

Oikawa smiled and pulled you into a hug again. You cautiously hugged back and patted his back. The bell signaling lunch was over rang and the two of you pulled away. "I'll stop by the gym after school to say a quick goodbye." You said grabbing yours and Iwaizumis stuff. Oikawa nodded and grabbed his stuff as well. He had a big smile on his face for some reason but you just brushed it off.

The rest of the day passed by pretty quickly. You had told Iwaizumi about stopping for a quick bye and he said, "Just be prepared for Oikawa." You didnt exactly know what the meant because you always were but before you could ask he had left for practice.

Once you were ready, you head down to the gym and pulled open the door. The lights were off and you furrowed your brows. "I thought there was practice today..." You mumbled to yourself.

Suddenly the lights turned on to show they gym and the volleyball team to be all dressed in nice birthday attire. You only stared shocked at the scene in front of you as the all shouted, "Surprise!" Oikawa appeared in front of your vision with a wide grin on his face and a small gift in his hand.

You blinked a few times and looked up to his eyes before looking to Iwaizumi who was approaching the two of you. "Y-you guys... Did this for me?" You asked, still surprised by what happened. Iwaizumi shrugged and tilted his head to the side saying 'kinda.' "It was Oikawa's idea."

Oikawa smiled and grabbed one of your hands, putting the gift in it. Iwaizumi put a party hat on your head before walking over to a table full of sweets and a cake. "Can I talk to you outside for a second?" You asked Oikawa. He smiled and lead the two of you outside the gym and away from prying ears.

"What did you wanna talk to me about?" You held the gift in your hand and pulled him into a tight hug. He stood tense for a moment before hugging back. "What's this for?" Oikawa asked with a small laugh. You buried your head in his chest and started to tremble slightly. He demeanor changed when he felt his shirt get slightly wet. "H-hey, (Y/n)? Are you ok?"

You nodded and kept hugging him. He hugged back and gently stroked the back of your head. "No ones ever done something like this before. So it's kinda a lot." You said clearly, having calmed down from your previous state. Oikawa laughed and pulled the two of you away to look you in the eyes.

"Really? Well then I'll have to step it up next time!" You smiled up to him softly before sadly looking down to your shoes. "I'm nervous Kawa..." His smile fades away to a sigh. "Me too." You look up to him in confusion. "I... Really hope tomorrow, I'll wake up in your body, Tooru..." He looks to your eyes and he has tears in this.

"Me too."

You look up to him and smile a little. "C'mon, let's go back inside and par-tay a little before it's too late!" Oikawa said with a smile as he dragged you back inside. You saw Iwaizumi standing by a punch bowl with a knowing smirk but you didnt think much of it.

Everyone had hung around and "par-tay"-ed till about 7pm. They decided to call it there and start cleaning up. You tried to help but both Oikawa and Iwaizumi stopped you. "Why dont you and Oikawa head back first? The least we can do is clean up."

"But you guys did all this for me, I have to try to help even a little." Iwaizumi put your things over your shoulder and pushed you to an already raring to go Oikawa. "Just head home. Its ok." Oikawa gently grabbed your hand but you stopped and addressed the whole team.

They had paused to look at you and listen. You bowed and thanked them, your bow hiding the tears in your eyes. You stood up straight and smiled to them before going with an impatient Oikawa.

The walk to your home was filled with comfortable conversation about the party. "Hey, (Y/n)-kun? Could we have a sleepover at your house?" You looked up to him and tilted your head slightly. "Like the whole team? That's a lot of people and I dont know if my parents would even let me since there away right now-"

"No, not the whole team. Just us." You blushed at what he said and looked away, slightly embarrassed for rambling. "Oh... J-just the two of us?" He nodded and you just shrugged. "I-I guess thats... Ok. I dont think they'll mind." You said rubbing the back of your neck. "Let's goo then!" Oikawa said, dragging you to your house.

Once you two arrived, you unlocked the door and let him in. "Your house is so much bigger on the inside." He said looking around. "Wow thanks." He laughed, "I didnt mean it in a bad way!" You rolled your eyes and walked upstairs to your room thinking, "How the fuck does this dude make me flustered so easily..."

You didnt even realize Oikawa had followed you, thinking he would just stay downstairs for the time being. When you turned around to close the door you jumped at his presence. "I-Im gonna change so you can just hang out downstairs till I'm done." He smiled and gently rubbed the back of his head before asking, "Do you think I could use your shower actually?"

"Oh, yeah, go for it. It's the door behind you." You said pointing over his shoulder. He thanked you as you got him a towel he could use. You closed the door to your room and got changed into some comfy pjs. The shower could be heard through your door but you didnt mind and decided to make yourself comfortable on your bed and watch some tv.

After a few minutes, the shower turned off and after another couple minutes, the door opening to reveal a shirtless Oikawa wearing sweatpants. You looked over only to look away just as fast. Oikawa smirked and jumped into the bed with you. You squeaked a very manly squeak as he hovered over you.

Your eyes looked up to his but couldn't be stopped when they looked at his chest. 'A tattoo?' You looked back up to him and asked, "You have a tattoo? Since when?" He just smiled and shook his head. "Since I was like twelve. Look what it says." He said sitting the two of you up. Oikawa was basically sitting on your lap but you didnt mind.

'You're in the way, stupid trashcan.'

It was written in beautiful cursive. You smiled and tried not to laugh but couldn't help it. Oikawa watched as the love of his life laughed at the first words he ever said to him.

"I said that when we first met! Did you really get it tattooed on your chest?" Oikawa rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Its illegal to get a tattoo when your twelve." You tilted your head slightly. "Then how did you get it?" He looked at you unamused before becoming nervous. This made you nervous too as he laid the both of you down in your bed.

"(Y/n)... Did you study soulmates?" You nodded and asked why. "Theres a chapter about two soulmates having different ways of finding eachother." You nodded again and tried to process the information but he spoke again. "Mine was the first words they say to you are tattooed somewhere on your body."

You looked at him and fully processed everything. It clicked. "Is that why you... Did all this stuff for me over the last year? W-why didn't you say something sooner?" He glanced out the window and seemed nervous again. "Theres a chance that you can actually have a different soulmate than me..." You furrowed your brows and sat up to look at him.

He didnt look at you and just glanced out the window. "What do you mean by that?" He looked over to you and directly in your eyes. "When we both have different ways of meeting our soulmate, theres a chance that you could have a different soulmate even though you're mine."

"That means when we wake up tomorrow... I wouldn't be hugging you, but your soulmate... And... I dont want that."

Oikawa looked away and you just looked at him shocked. "You're so weird out of character." You said leaning down and pulling him into a hug, laying on top of him in the process. "I'm being serious y'know..." You nod and nuzzle your face into his neck.

"I know. I dont want something like that to happen either." He shifted so that he could look at you properly and cupped your face. His eyes held clear care and adoration.

"Let's sleep now, and if I dont wake up to you tomorrow... I'll find you ok?"

dont worry abt needing to add anything i just wanna share this idea b4 i forget it but also i dont rlly know any1 who likes warriors so,,,

okay i saw a little animation on utube about fallen leaves and while i was reading up on his wiki it hit me

in outcast, after jaypaw has been having dreams about fallen n his death, n after meeting him while looking 4 the missing kits in the tunnels, fallen asks him to stay but jay declines.

what if, unhappy w/ being forced to be a medcat, and wanting to live his *own* life he accepts? and a similar thing to what happened to holly happens where the cave entrance collapses (whether fallen and jay had smth to do with it or it was just convenient, idk), n everyone thinks that jay died saving these kits. but really hes living his best life in the caves. fallen teaches him how to hunt and fight well, bc the caves are dark, 's not like you can see very well even if you weren't blind.

and jay starts having the dreams where he's jay's wing, back in the ancients time, and its a little different where instead of having a crush on halfmoon he (jay's Wing) had a crush on fallen before fallen died in the caves. and thats why jay brings up the idea to leave to the mountains. and when he ends up back in the present he realizes that he once again has a crush on fallen.

and fallen remembers, or recognizes jay as jay's wing and is like "oh... Oh!" and realizes he also, once again, has a crush. and so jay choses that as his full name. Jaywing.

jay starts walking in dreams and having visions of The Battle, and at this point its been a couple of years at this point, the whole thing w/ ashfur happened and the gathering where holly tells after killing ash happens, and jay finds out through holly's dreams, bc shes projecting her own fears, anger, and insecurities hard while she sleeps. and that really makes jay upset but then he talks w/ fallen and comes to the conclusion that it doesnt matter who his real parents were, bramble and squirrel are still his parents to him.

eventually with the battle looming on the horizon, and rock urging him to go, he leaves the caves. and returns to thunderclan. n fallen can follow him due to his powers, and at first the clan think jay is a rogue or loner, but its dove who has Never seen him before who mentions that he's blind just from observing how carful he puts his paws down that everyone freezes before going "jay???"

and oh mouse dung, hes no longer a grumpy, scrawny medcat apprentice. he's still on the shorter side but he filled out, muscle no one thought he'd have ripples beneath his coat, he's as strong as a *warrior*. and has the skills as one, too. he can hunt and fight as well as the rest of them, its almost like he isn't blind when he's actually in the zone. but he still bumps into things n trips over roots or uneaven ground.

and yeah the Battle happens and he's out there, using his starsight to fight along side fallen leaves, until the battle is won and fallen reunites with his family, and is torn between staying with jay in the caves and actually going where hes supposed to. jay tells him to go, he'll be okay, and to wait for him.

but wait, if cats can be reincarnated and have powers... why can't the tribe of endless hunting and starclan let him properly live where he left off? so hes given another chance and put back into the tunnels with a physical form, and meets jay again and joins him in thunderclan.

kinda canon, but he just says stuff. like most of the time without thinking. so sometimes he comes off as insensitive but he just does NOT have a brain to mouth filter. this has gotten him in a lot of trouble but also can b rly fucking funny. some old jerk scientists will be like oh dr freeman didnt you wear that exact shirt yesterday(smug) and gordon without looking up from the photocopier and only half paying attention will b like well u wear that same face everyday and i don’t hear anyone else complaining. and then the other scientist will try to hold in their tears as they walk away. gordon does not give this a second thought ❤️

TOMMY MY FRIEND TOMMY. pls excuse me projecting onto him but tommy loves jewelry. collecting it, wearing it, etc. he’s just super into it and he especially likes metal-type jewelry cause of the clinking sound they make when they hit each other. his favorite designs of jewelry are fun litle things like fruit or candy or just miscellaneous objects. he finds them super cute!! also, the brighter the color the more drawn to it he will b. tommy is like a crow in which he sees a neon or shiny color and his eyes zero in on it and he needs it now now NOW!!!!!!

this is based off that one comic i made but tommy can just. consume stuff without actually...eating it?? like if he wants to eat a breadroll he can just hold it in his hand and like. absorb its energy. from an outsiders perspective it just looks like that object is slowly phasing out of existence. in retrospect it’s kind of a useless ability and tommy likes the stimulation of chewing so he doesn’t use it that much except as a fun party trick ❤️

also tommy was adopted by gman but he still has powers cause gman just passed them onto him. think all might passing his quirk onto midoriya but without the hair eating. tommy spent time in his childhood after being adopted trying to hone his skills but he’s still a little unsteady to this day. in that way he’s kinda more dangerous than gman sometimes cause he can’t completely control his powers

i think this is kind of agreed on within the fandom but bubby loves cooking. black mesa food was ASS. utter ASS. so once he gets out he goes all out with experimenting on what he does and doesn’t like. they’re pretty bad at cooking at first but they’re pretty stubborn so eventually they get it!!

i feel like it’s funny if bubby was one of those ‘oh in my day-‘ old ppl but like also he likes to b pretty up-to-date with whatevers currently popular. hence the ‘NUT UP OR SHUT UP!’ and ‘i believe the kids say you pogged it!’ gordon hears bubby use the word lit once and has to sit down for a moment to process.

also unrelated but bubby only likes two video games and they are tetris and pac-man. this is simply bc years ago i asked my mom what video games she liked and she was like ‘i hate video games the only one i like is pac-man’ and i thought it was the funniest shit. me n my siblings still make fun of her for that

DR COOOMEEERRR !!! we all know dr coomer is extremely impulsive if he wants smth he WILL get it by any means necessary. he is very bad at thinking of long term consequences, he just sees the product of the now and if he likes it he will go for it. the reason he allowed himself to b cloned by black mesa even tho it was extremely new and unsafe technology was bc he was like wow! that is just so cool! and didn’t give it any thought beyond that. i feel like the reason dr coomer has so many body modifications(power lungs, extendo arms, etc) is bc of the long term affects on the body of the cloning process. like yeah in the long run it may have caused for him to need to get a replacement heart but also: clones 😼

this has been said b4 but dr coomer is p bad at comforting ppl. like don’t get me wrong he tries but most of the time when trying to comfort someone he’ll just go off on tangents. in that sense he’s bad at it cause he usually doesn’t know what to say but also surprisingly it helps bc most of the time he says the most absurd thing that just cause ppl to. snap out of it. at least for awhile.

Rock, Relasonships and Roses  chapter 2

hey everyone I know this is supper late I'm sorry but ill try my best to post chapter three sooner!let me know what you think!

Elain was pushing through the floor mumbling apologies every few seconds for bumping into people. She had been looking for grayson for the past 2 hours with no sight of him.

All of the sudden she felt something wet poor on her head and down the shirt. Beer of course “what the heck” elain said looking at the guy but he was too busy partying to even notice why the beer in his cup was gone.  She was about to give up when she saw the back of graysons head as she was walking towards him when she realized the pair of arms around his neck and a pair of lips attached to his. Before Grayson could turn around Elain was already making her way out of the crowd, tears streaming down her face.

feyre she was sure the whole thing was a dream she reamerd dancing and sing and making eye contact with rhys several times, the whole thing felt like a dream, until some guy knocked her over and it went black and when she finally awoke from her sleep she was passed out on the couch in a room of some sort,rubbing her eyes and the back of her head she looked up and and saw a familiar set of violet eyes staring back at her, the ones that were on the posters off her bedroom walls.

“Oh fuck” feyre said as her pupils diolated

“Good you awake, do you need anything? Water or food? I probably should take you to a doctor or something. Rhys kept asking her questions but she just sat there in complete shock looking at his eyes as big as craters .

“Um… hello what's your name,maybe we should call and ambulance” rhys said and he started to look concerned

“Feyre”

“ my name it's a … feyre”

“Well feyre darling my name is rhysand, it's lovely to meet you i mean it would have been better in a less dramatic and dangerous way, but still lovely ” rhys said as he kissed her hand “are you feeling alright do you need anything?”

“No i ah think i'm ok, can you tell me what happened because it feels like i'm on punk'd right now alli remember was hitting my head on the ground ”

“Well i can assure you this is no tv show,you where in the crowd near the front of the stage dancing and i saw some asshole push you over, so i stopped and got you of the ground and out of the crowed before people could trample you over and worsen the bump on you head” as soon as rhys said that she felt up the back of her head and hissed at the pain of when her had met the base ball sized bump on her head

“Hear let me get you ice” rhys walked over to the mini fridge and looked in the small freezer compartment grabbing a ice pack out

“Here this should help with some of the pain and swelling”feyre took the pack out of his and moved it to the bump, then quickly removed it

“Is something wrong?” rhys said looking concerned

“ no it's just cold” Rhys took the pack from her head and wrapped it in a shirt from the armrest of the couch “better?” he said as he held it to the back of her head lightly

“Much, thanks” they were close like really close. He was sitting right next to her on the couch facing her arm wrapped around the back of her head, their eyes looking back at each other. Feyre must have been dreaming It was the most intimate thing that ever happened,  she thought until she heard baning on the door in the corner of the room  

“Hello is feyre in there? Hello? Open the door” Nesta, it was nesta of course ruining her baby sisters big moment feyre thought

“My sister” Feyre stated as she closed her eyes. Rhys got up from the couch handed feyre the ice pack and opened the door to see Nesta with cassian and az

“Oh thank the gods you're okay, I was right I shouldn't have let you and Elain split up,you're practically still a child , I leave you alone for a second and you get yourself into a mess do you know where Elain is?”

“Ness im fine and i'm not a child”Feyre muttered in anger

Ness grabbed her hand pulling her along to the door, on there way down the hall cass yelled to nesta

“Hey sweetheart call me” he said with a wink nesta rolled her eyes and fyre gave her a questioning look .

It was a rough day, from the moment Az woke up with a hangover the size of texas and only one cigarette left, he made the tour bus driver pull over to the nearest gas station so he could stock up on cigarettes. On his way out of the gas station he was bombarded with a small crowd of fans all begging for photos, it never stopped the fans the screaming he was sick of it , 

they all where it was fun in the begging but after the third year of touring it was to much.az cass and rhys never talked any more it always ended in fist fights,management worked hard to make it look like they still where the best of friends, the cold truth was they haven't been close in years , haven't wrote their own music in years. Az walked out to a small exit on the side of the stayedem leaning back on the back of the shut door looking up at the sky hearin the soft sounds of the city finally a moment  not be bothered by screaming fans or the never ending side glances or backhanded comments from his bandmates, it was just him alone in till he heard the soft sniffling from next to a alley dumpster. He slowly walked over to the dumpster peering to the concrete ground next to it, it was a petite girl sitting in a ball with her head in her knees softly crying. Az didnt know why but he had the urge to pick her up and hold her. Suddenly she looked up at him, her eyes were red and tears were streaming down her cheeks

.“Oh my...um...i'm sorry , i'll just go” she said cheeks burning red with embarrassment, she went to get up from the ground  she stumbled over her feet and Az grabbed her waist right before she fell over, Her hands went to his neck and the other to his shoulder.

“No its ok um, are you okay i heard you crying and was just going to make sure you weren't hurt”

“Oh i'm fine physically, it just my heart that's broken, sorry um i'll just go you're probably busy with like superstar things and i just a it's a long story, i'll just go” as she turned to leave her bracelet pulled, it was stuck on his shirt.muttering apologies to each other they both tried to get her bracelet free. After three awkward minutes of the treads being attached to her new bracelet, they were finally apart before Az could ask her a question. She rushed inside the door and ran, leaving him to wonder what the hell just happened.

my family and i went to go look at christmas lights bc theres a HUGE ASS neighborhood that always goes way over the top and they were like “HEY get in the car” so we did bc we have to and i was sitting in the back with my 11 year old brother and i was asked him if he wanted to hear about the books ive been reading and he was like “yeah sure idc” and i was like cool!! bc my brothers know how happy it makes me when i talk abt books i read and so they humor me (most of the time) so i start talking abt shatter me and how i didnt finish the series bc i got bored of it but its ok bc warnette got together so woohooo thats all i wanted. then my other brother who’s almost 14 starts talking shit or whatever and says something abt how no one wants to listen to me talk abt books and i was like oh ok well i was talking to cody not you and then cody started telling him he was a brat or whatever (yk the usual sibling name calling) and then my dad jumped to the rescue of trey (the 14 yo) saying that we should include him so then i said “well trey started being mean first, cody’s just trying to defend me” and my mom was like “yeah they were perfectly fine until trey started stuff” and so it was this big thing and then eventually it calmed down a bit and cody asked about the other books ive been reading and i told him about six of crows bc i thought he would like that and i started describing kaz and he was like “so hes dark and brooding and misunderstood” and i laughed bc all i told him was that kaz was a 17 yo crime boss who killed people but its ok bc he cant touch people without passing out or vomiting (no the best description of kaz i realize but hes 11 and i thought he’d find it weird). so we laugh bc its funny and my mom says somwthing to my dad abt how we were rubbing it in that trey was being “left out” so i just ignore it and keep talking bc that wasnt what was happening at all i just wanted to talk abt my damn books and cody seemed genuinely interested. then she said to the whole car “why dont we just go home” and i was like why??? and she was like “bc no one is in a good mood and youre leaving your brother out and cody doesnt even want to hear about your stupid books he’s only doing it to get to trey and leave him out and no one cares” so i told her that cody was listening before trey said anything and i just wanted to talk abt them. and then she kept going on about how no one wanted to hear about my books because no one gives a shit and no one cares and no one wants to listen. and then i started crying bc i knew people didnt really care but why was it such a big deal?  i never talk about any of my interests with anyone and they are the only ones who i actually feel comfortable talking about this stuff with so why is it such a big deal? i get it no one cares but at least they pretend to, even if they arent listening or i dont make much sense when im talking about them at least im talking. im not in contact with any of my friends rn because my parents took away my phone so i only have my laptop so all i do is sit on tumblr and read books and browse ao3 which sounds amazing and it kind of is but i miss my best friend and driving and hanging out with them and im barely eating bc i dont have an appetite and my meds ran out a while ago so ive been really down lately and i failed my dual enrollment classes bc i just cant seem to do anything (thats why my phone and keys were taken) and i dont blame them for punishing me ik i screwed up but my mom wont look into putting me back into therapy or finding a new psychologist and i just want to be okay again but im isolated and numb but when i try to express an interest in the one thing that makes me feel something i get yelled at and told that no one gives a shit and it just sucks but its okay ill be okay

Clark got out of the vehicle and sighed, he got the feeling that he was being watched and he put his attention twords the treeline holding his hands on his hips and pinched felt the cold wind brace his face "jesus its cold" he said leaning on the car as he heard rustling in the bush and saw a person with a hood on their face blackened by the shadow and Clark was frightened a bit and pulled his gun, with heavy breathing Clark calmed down a bit "jeez fella you gave me a spook there...hey your a long ways from town need a lift?" the being tilted their head and just ran off "HEY!...WAIT!" Clark chased the being running through the woods and jumped over a fallen tree log and crawled under a redwood tree log "HEY...where-...where did you go" he said holstering his gun as he stared up and was covered in the shade of the trees and he felt like he was being watched again as a crow landed on a branch and cawed down twords Clark and he looked around more "shit lost huh?" he said putting his hand on his radio "hey Owen its Clark my car died and there is a-" his radio went static and he tapped it "damn it must've hit it or something" more crows would caw down to the Clark as he looked up in a bit of fear and it went silent as the birds watched him as a man in what looked like a old tarnished clothing and a pair of boots walked out from a tree "hey son ya lost?" the man said laughing a bit Clark jumped a bit at the sound of the man breaking the silence "hey there woah now no need to be spooked deputy" Clark let out a sigh and looked twords the man and calmed down "sorry you just gave me a scare that's all" the man nodded "well you look lost need some directions?" Clark nodded in agreement as he stood up straight "that would be great...say whats your name? and have you seen anyone with a black hood and well...yeah" the man put his finger to his chin and thought for a moment "no sir i haven't sorry but my name isn't much to worry about just take the river home...red creek right?" Clark slowly nodded "y-yeah

on the badge you got there!" he said laughing "just down that way is the river...oh one more thing, things get scary after dark so make it quick" the man said before slowly walking away. Clark

had looked back to thank him but he was gone already as fast as he appeared and then the crows would dissipate flying away. Clark slowly wandered down the way he was told to then he finally made it to the river and found his way back into town but the whole way through the feeling of being watched haunted him as he walked into the bar, the sun would have been in the center of the sky by now signaling the afternoon but instead he knew it meant one thing, he was off duty for a while. Clark walked into the bar and had a seat "Heyyyy deputy how is it, what can i get ya boss?" victor gave Clark a warm welcome as Clark took his hat off running a hand through his hair "a shot glass and the bottle please" Clark said sounding tired, the sound of people laughing talking and singing along to whatever was on the jukebox was really getting to him as a lone man walked into the bar and found his way sitting only one seat away from Clark "jeez Clark you look like shit what happened ya trip and fall?" victor laughed a bit and Clark looked at him narrowing his eyes "oh well uh sorry here's your drink "the old man would look at Clark and his drink "last time i saw someone drink like you they were spooked by something" the old man said with a deep voice "and spooked by somethin they couldn't explain" he said as he looked forward, Clark scoffed a bit "mhm sure just a little chase in the woods outside town that's all" the old man put his hands on the bar "and let me guess you got lost?" Clark downed another drink and looked at the old man "yeah...no trails out there couldn't find my way back" he said sounding concerned "and did a man come out from no where and lead you home?" the old man spoke once more sort of scaring Clark "y-yes..." Clark replied timidly he was feeling a slight bit of uneasiness in his stomach "then you saw mountain man" the old man said as victor looked over "the wives tale? bah no way your full of shit" said victor as Clark looked at victor "let him speak" he said as he looked to the man "wives tale? mountain man?" asked Clark in urgency as the old man smiled "i remember the first time i heard of mountain man was when i moved into town say uh 59 or was it ah yeah 61 61 haha i was a little school boy when my uncle told me scared the daylights outta me" Clark was confused "listen just tell me about mountain man" the old man nodded as he looked to the wall of liquor and took a deep breath
