Bloody Beetle | Part Six

Summary: in an intense car ride with Harrow you make one final attempt to change his mind, and truths are revealed.

Pairing: Harrow x reader

Word Count: 2k

Warnings: Harrow being Harrow (he's like, bordering on yandere)

A/N: I am SO sorry this took so long. Grief is a bitch. But part seven coming tomorrow!! then I think part eight will be the final part... I researched a LOT into the Staff of Ammit and what powers Harrow had but definitely made shit up so apologies haha 🙈 as always spelling and grammar are not my strongest skills so please be kind :)

The journey across the Egyptian desert is uncomfortable. Not just because its a long time to be sat in a hot car on a ridiculously bumpy track, but because you're forced to sit in the back with Harrow right by your side. He tries to converse with you, telling you how excited you should be about going to Giza and how privileged you are to witness the birth of the new world. But all you can do is stare out the window, simultaneously trying to block Harrow's voice and the image burnt into your mind of Steven and Maya’s lifeless bodies in the tomb.

When you finally reach a main road, you're almost relieved to see the Egyptian patrol vehicles blocking the road, forcing the cars to stop. Officers approach the cars, banging on the hoods as they say something in a language you don't understand.

“Stay in the car.” Harrow tells you calm but firm as he opens the door and gets out. Officers raise their guns and shout at him and some disciples immediately jump out the cars to defend him. Harrow just calmly raises his hands, telling everyone it’s all right.

“Show me your papers!” The officer near to him says.

“I don't need to show you my papers.” Harrow replies. “You need to show us your soul.”

He raises his cane and as he bangs it to the ground a purple light sweeps through the officers. You gasp, watching as almost all of them fall to the ground. All except the one who had been talking to Harrow. His body shakes and when it stops he looks at Harrow, dazed and confused.

“This is the face of a good man.” Harrow says, reaching out to place his hand on the officer’s shoulder. He removes the walkie talkie from the officers vest and shuts it off. “You don't need this anymore.” He throws it to the ground and moves away from the officer.

“Move the bodies out of the way.” You hear Bobbi call and see disciples start to jump out from the cars. “Lets go! Clear a path.”

The driver in your car gets out to help and you see your opportunity. You open the door, but before you can even move Harrow is there slamming it shut again. He locks eyes with you through the car window and holds out his hand. The driver hands him the key and he instantly locks the car, before turning and leaning against the door. You shuffle across the seat to the other side of the car and try that door instead, but it stays locked. You let out a sigh, turning to look out the back window. You watch the disciples working, moving the officers bodies like they’re just bags of sand, not caring at all that these are real people who had lives and families.

Movement behind one of the vehicles a few cars away grabs your attention. Every other person out there is helping clear a path, but not this one. This person has their hood up. Like they’re hiding, sneaking behind he back of the cars. The sun catches something metal shining in their hand. A knife! As they get close enough you realise its Layla! Her eyes remain fixed on Harrow as she steadies her grip on the knife in her hand. She must be here to kill Harrow!

You spare a quick glance at Harrow, he’s still leaning against the car door watching his disciples do his dirty work. You look back at Layla and you're surprised to see she’s no longer focused. Instead she’s looking down at the ground, talking to someone. You shuffle as far over as you can to try and get a better view but all you can see is someones legs. It looks like she’s talking to one of the dead officers…

Suddenly she looks back up again, startling you. Your movement catches her eye and she looks directly at you through the rear window. You wave, mouthing at her to “help”. She nods, bringing her finger up to her mouth to tell you to stay quiet as she refocuses on Harrow. She takes a couple of short steps but when Bobbi shouts “it’s time to go” she stops retreating back a few steps.

“I’ll find you.” She mouths to you before running to the back of the cars and disappearing from your view. A sadness hits you as you remember Steven saying those same words back in London. When was that? Days? Weeks? You’d lost count of how long you’d been with Harrow in the middle of all this madness.

You jump at the sound of Harrow getting back in the car, turning around to sit back down in your seat.

“What were you looking at?” He asks, glancing out the rear window.

“Nothing.” You say shakily, hoping Harrow doesn’t realise you're lying. “Just.. there’s a lot of bodies out there.”

Sensing your sadness he reaches over, placing his hand on yours and giving it a reassuring squeeze. “I know it’s hard. It will be over soon.” You pull your hand away and move as far away from him as is possible when trapped in a car. You hear him sigh before he says “Not far to go now.”

You see it in the distance. The great pyramid of Giza standing tall in the desert. Your heart starts to race as you realise this really is it. Time is running out.

“Are you alright?” Harrow asks, hearing your shaky breaths as you try to calm yourself.

“Please don't do this.” You say in a sudden moment of bravery.

“What?”

“Don't do this.” You say, firmer this time as you look at him. “You can turn these cars around, stop anyone else from dying… You don't have to go through with this.”

You look him at him for a moment, silently pleading with him as he looks back at you. There’s a sadness in his eyes.

“I have to.”

“No- no you don’t”

“I do Y/N.”

“Says who?” You argue. “Who? Ammit? She’s lying to you Arthur-”

“Don’t-”

“She’ll say whatever she has to to convince you to free her. But there must be a reason that the other gods imprisoned her. She is dangerous-”

“ENOUGH!” Harrow shouts and slams his cane into floor, startling you and clearly the driver too from the way the car swerves. “My apologies.” He says to the driver, composing himself before looking at you. You haven’t seen him this angry, especially not with you. “I understand that you are frightened, and you are grieving your friend…” he tries to hide his anger by softening his voice “but you talk of things of things you do not understand.”

“Then help me.” You say quietly. He looks confused. “Help me to understand.”

“I’ve already told you-” Harrow starts but you interrupt.

“You told me why Ammit takes lives. But what about you? You killed Steven, Arthur, YOU did that!”

“He was complicated. He had unbalanced scales.”

“What about Maya? She didn’t have ‘unbalanced scales’. She was on your side, she worshipped you! And you murdered her!”

“No! She failed to stop Marc Spector from getting to the tomb and in turn we almost lost the ushabti. She jeopardised our chance of freeing Ammit.”

"Then what about me? Why am I still alive Arthur? I have been very open about how much I disagree with Ammit, and you. I helped Steven to get the ushabti. I have tried at every opportunity to stop you, but I’m still here. Help me understand that.” You pause, giving him a chance to speak but he closes his eyes. “Why haven’t you killed me, like you have with everyone else who got in your way?” He still remains silent. “Arthur?!”

“Because I can’t!” He finally replies, looking at you with teary eyes. “I know I’m supposed to, she wants me to, but I can’t do that to you, I just can’t… not to you…”

“What are you saying?”

The car comes to a stop at the base of the pyramid and the driver gets out. But Harrow doesn’t move. The cult leader/avatar of Ammit persona he’s always worn has dropped, leaving a very different person in front of you. For the first time, he looks vulnerable.

“I have feelings for you Y/N. Feelings I’m not supposed to have. Feelings that have stopped me from carrying out Ammit's orders.”

“I- I don’t understand.. You said Ammit changed her mind, that she saw something special about me-” a realisation hits you “It was all a lie. But the daily healings? If that wasn’t Ammit, then what the hell was it? Please, just tell me the truth.”

He looks conflicted, releasing a sigh before speaking.

“Keeping you alive was an accident. When I first met you in the museum, I would have gone through with killing you if Marc hadn’t stopped me. I made up the deal that Ammit would spare you if he gave me the scarab but I had every intention of killing you anyway. When I came to you, when you were almost dead, I was going to finish it.” He must see the horror on your face because he quickly tries to reassure you “But then I listened to you speak and for the first time I questioned Ammit’s judgement. No one has ever made me do that. I knew you must be special, so I restored your life back to you.”

“So why convince me I was still dying?”

“I needed a reason to keep you near me. I hoped you would be grateful and stay with me. But you didn’t, so I said Marc had left you behind and when you still wanted to leave I panicked and made up a reason to keep you around.”

“But if you weren’t actually healing me, what were you doing?”

"Simply making you sleep. I always believed the Staff of Ammit simply judged and drained a life force completely. It was only after Marc interrupted me draining your life at the museum that I realised that wasn't the case. It can kill, it can leave a person on the edge of death, or it can send someone into a deep sleep. So that's what I did.” He looks down at the cane that is resting against his leg.

“Is there anything you haven’t lied to me about?!”

“There is something special in you Y/N, that wasn’t a lie. I can see it. And when Ammit is released I will make sure she sees it too-”

“She wants me DEAD Arthur!! Why aren’t you getting that? She wants me dead, and when she sees you haven’t done it she’ll just do it herself.”

“I won’t let that happen.”

“If you think you can stop her you're even more delusional than I thought.” You say, and from Harrow’s face you see he knows you have a point. “The simple truth is, if you go in there and release Ammit you won’t just be condemning a whole lot of innocent people to death… you’ll be killing me too.” You watch him as he thinks. He looks conflicted. You reach out and take his hand, causing him to fully concentrate on you. “Arthur, you said that you questioned Ammit’s judgement. If there is any doubt in you at all, any part of you that thinks she wrong then you have to stop this.”

He looks past you, out the car window to the disciples that have started to climb up the side of the pyramid, studying them for a moment. Then back to you.

“You're right. I have to stop this.” He says and you smile at him in relief, nodding your head. “I have to stop her from killing you.”

“What, no that’s not what I mean-” you start to argue but he cuts you off, placing his hand on your head. You see the cane glow and instantly feel sleep coming over you. “No Arth- please…”

“It all right my love, you’ll be okay.” He lays you down across the car seat, sliding back to open the car door behind him and lets himself out. “You’ll be safe in here.” He pulls a blanket from the floor and drapes it over you, covering you so that you are hidden but leaving a small gap for you to breathe. You look up at him stood in the door frame, he's looking at you full of sadness and fear.

"Please..." you manage and as you drift off you hear him speak.

“I hope I'm here when you wake to join you in the new world.”

Warnings : Kidnapping, hint of stockholm syndrome, yandere, and Arthur himself. Also major characters death

The first time he saw you, oh boi he skipped the process of Judgment and for the first time disobeying Ammit's rule

He uses his intuition as well his power to know that you are a good soul. Someone pure that is needed to be protected by anything that could endanger your life.

When you are "judged" (which just consists of him talking about how pure you are), he will hug you so tight that you are struggling to breathe. Also he somehow grasped your back with nails digging.

He would definitely manipulate you to come to his cult (which he said a community). He'd do everything even if it hurts you, "for your sake" he stated.

Of course you would refuse (let's pretend we're just a normal person in here to him lmaoooo). You'd try to run but he held both of your hands tightly, leaning into you until there's just an inch between you two.

"I just wanted to keep you safe."

He was about to initiate a kiss but a noise surprised you both. Let's say he was in a museum and a loud announcement alarmed him, giving you a chance to run away as far as you could.

Little did he know, he already had all your information inside his pockets.

The time you came home, you already found him sitting on your bed, tilting his head giving you a "warm" smile.

In panic, you ran away locking him inside your house.

Yet it was proven to be futile. The time you realized you were surrounded by his armed cultist, you already found he was right behind you and covered your mouth shut.

"You have no idea the dangers lurking around, threatening your soul. I'm here to keep you safe. You don't have to worry."

He'll handcuff you for your own "safety." On the journey he'll sit right next to you, keeping his eyes on you only.

In the first week, he'll talk often to you, speaking about Ammit, paradise, Judgment, and how pure your soul is. He doesn't accept the answer of "no", so he'd repeat his words if he found it necessary.

He'll bath you, hand feed you, all your necessities will be his responsibilities. He won't punish you if you try to rebel because he’ll understand that you need some adjustment.

Eventually you managed to escape…for a few minutes. Harrow found you when you stumbled upon cardboards thanks to your handcuffed hands.

"I see you are uncomfortable with this. I am truly sorry, but I need you to understand I never meant to hurt you.”

He’ll put you in his room again, tho without the handcuff this time. He used another trick, reverse psychology. He left all the doors unlocked, leaving you to decide whether you want to escape or not.

You may think there will be traps, but there are none. Yet it is hard to actually see it.

One day, you actually escaped from the cult. No harrow, not even his people managed to stop you. Yet when you arrived home, you realized you were technically helpless. No food in the fridge, you are no longer able to do any money-worth skill, you even had a hard time bathing yourself.

You returned anyway. You have no choice, you started to realize your life was actually taken care of. All goes with Arthur’s plan and he welcomes you in open arms.

You are no longer handcuffed, but whenever you go outside, even just for eating with the people, Arthur will always be on your side.

If there is a man flirting with you, he will guarantee that the man’s scales shall be unbalanced.

Oh he’d let his past moon knight era side aka being ruthless if Marc/Steven tried to save you from his hand. And when he knows you are being touched by them, he won’t hesitate to shoot them countless time in place and lock you for a full 48 hours to “purify” you.

He wouldn’t hesitate to hurt Layla as well. He sees no gender when it comes to violence. So off she goes to the field of reeds if she decides to save you from him.

When he needs to fly to another country, you have two choices : Went with him or your leg being tied to his bed so you wouldn’t come anywhere out from the house.

In the end, he would cling to your side 24/7, keeping you safe from the wicked world and keeping you only for himself exclusively.

One crucial thing you need to know from him is that he doesn't take "No"

Just Please Come Home

An Arthur Harrow Fanfic

Warnings: drugging, alcohol, threatening date rape drugs, panic attacks, somewhat yandere

This was written very quickly so if there are any mistakes please let me know <3

“No! I’m never going back to the village” you screamed at the man in front of you.

“(Y/N), I know you’re upset but I can fix this. Just please return home with me” Arthur said in a quiet but authoritative voice.

You knew that if you thought about it too long and if you let Arthur talk for long enough, you would be convinced to go back. So instead of answering, you turned around and walked away from the man.

You had been a part of Arthur Harrow’s following for about a year. And in that year, you had gained the favor of Arthur. At one point, you even thought that you guys were in love. But it had gotten to be too much for you. You didn’t think that Arthur should have the authority to judge and execute people before they did anything bad. Once you might have believed in Ammit’s dream for the world, but now it just frightened and confused you.

You were near the center of London, which is where you used to live. So you began to try to relocate your previous home and maybe reconnect with your friends. You had given everything away to follow Arthur and now you had nothing left. The sun was close to setting and the streets were growing darker by the minute. Nearing your house, you could tell that Saturday night parties had already begun. Hoping that one of your friends was at these parties, you entered the house that seemed to be the busiest. Right off the bat, you could smell weed and alcohol. This dazed and confused you because you hadn’t been around drugs for a while. You had to weave through the crowd in the house, looking for familiar faces. Walking into the kitchen to hopefully escape the thick haze, you bumped into someone you thought you recognized.

The man looked down at you and smiled. “Hey, I haven’t seen you around here in a while. You're Riley’s friend right?”

Knowing that Riley used to be your friend that you went to house parties with, you said, “Yeah I actually am. Hey, you don’t happen to know where Riley is, do you?”

“Well let's not rush off just yet, you just got here. Let me get you a drink and we can talk” he said.

Nodding your head, you watch him leave to go to the drink table. Now, the weed smoke was really getting to your head and being around this many people was overwhelming. You just wanted to know where your friends were so maybe you could crash with them for a while. Even though this guy seemed weird, you were willing to do just about anything to find someone you trusted.

“Here you go” he handed you a solo cup with what smelled like cheap beer. “You know it’ll help you relax a little,” he laughed.

You took a hesitant sip and asked “So, do you know where Riley is?”

“Yeah, I think I saw her at a party last night two streets over.” You took another sip and asked “But what about today?”

“Well, I don’t actually know where she is today.”

“That’s so helpful,” you rolled your eyes and handed back your drink. You were about to move on and ask someone else when you began to feel weak. It hit you very suddenly and the guy seemed to notice it. “Hey, do you need to take a breath outside?”

You nodded your head and slowly made your way to the door. The guy led you out the door to the alleyway beside the house. You leaned against the wall and tried to take deep breaths. When you looked over at the man, he was smiling. “Oh sweetheart, that’s not gonna help. You’ll be out within two minutes and I can do whatever I want.”

Confused and becoming afraid, you pushed off the wall to step away from him but stumbled and fell onto your knees. “Please, I only wanted to know where my friend is.” But he didn’t listen as he stalked closer and closer. Your vision blurred and your hips threatened to give out. Suddenly, from behind him, you saw a purple glow and heard someone chanting something over and over.

The man stopped and turned towards the source of the chanting, blocking your view of the glow. With this, your hips finally gave out and you fell all the way to the ground and laid on your back. Everything was distorted and it was getting hard to breathe. The only thing you could make out was what sounded like an animal running across pavement and the man screaming out down the road.

The outsides of your vision was blackening and it was difficult to move at all. You tried to inhale but it was like your lungs wouldn’t fully expand. You thought that your entire vision had gone black, but it was a tall man quickly walking over you covering the moon as he walked. He threw down his cane and crouched next to you, holding your head in his hands.

“You’re alright. You’re safe now. Just breathe.” It was Arthur. There was a slight quiver in his voice that you couldn’t tell if it was concern or fear for you. You should’ve been afraid or angry at his coming back, but honestly you were relieved. He pulled you up to rest your head on his chest as your arms lay loosely at your sides. He supported your head with one hand and put the other hand on your chest. “In and out slowly. You’re good. I’ve got you now.”

As the blackness took over, you feel Arthur’s large hands wrap around you and pick you up off the ground. Somewhere, you thought you heard a car door slam and someone telling the driver to go faster.

Four or five hours later, you jerk awake on Arthur’s bed. You instantly sit up and realize you have an oxygen mask on and so you pull that off. However, you're having a hard time controlling your breath and the remaining effects of the drugs are not helping. Arthur, who had been sitting there waiting for you to wake up, stood up from his chair and began trying to get the oxygen mask back on. “Please my dear, you need this back on. I know it’s confusing right now, but trust me.”

This was not helping the feeling of an oncoming panic attack, which affected your breathing even more. You began to sob between breaths and fear began to flood your body. You couldn’t even speak for having to focus on breathing. Arthur gave up on the mask and reached the bedside table for something. He pulled out an inhaler and brought it to your lips. “Now you need to breathe in when I tell you to” he instructed. When he pushed the button, you breathed in the best you could and it instantly became easier to inhale.

“You’re doing amazing (Y/N), just one more time for me.” You inhale again and your lungs open up even more. “Ok, I know you don’t want to, but you need to put on the mask”

Already weak from the lack of oxygen and the drugs, you agree tiredly and he gently straps the mask to your face. You’re still sobbing quietly from the whole situation. “Sh sh sh, I know you're tired and scared. Can you lean back for me?” You let his hands guide you back down to the pillows and rest your head against one. Arthur gets a tissue and dries your eyes as you are still regaining your breath. “I know you're probably still feeling the effects of those drugs but you will be alright. You are safe and I will keep you that way. You don’t have to worry about someone attacking you like this ever again.”

You try to speak or even raise your hands to thank him but you're still weak.

“Just rest for now and we can talk later. I'll be right here by your side if you need me.” You were able to barely move your hand and so you slowly moved it over the bedsheets to his hand on the bed and his hand envelopes yours while you fall back asleep. He gently moved the hair out of your face and squeezed your hand tightly in his.

I am working on my last request so if anyone would like to request anything short I would love to write something for you!

I will write for the Moonboys, Moonknight cast, Arthur, Layla and perhaps some Anakin or Obi-Wan.

Also I watched Sucker Punch for the first time yesterday (and I loved it) so I might even write for Blue.

The only thing I can think of that I don't write (yet) is smut. I can write anything with Yandere, Mild Age Regression and mental health topics including sh.

Just had a breakdown in front of my mom about how afraid I am to go to college. Which yanderes would take advantage of this the most?

Hmm let's see:

Mom Rei: she never wanted the apple of her eye to be away from her, and deep down, you don't wanna go either. Or so she has convinced herself.

Dads Erasermic: they don't trust other people, don't trust you not to get hurt by others. The world is just too damn harsh for their bundle of joy.

Step Dad Hawks/Dad Hawks: he has attachment issues and he was already planning on sabotaging your college applications but he's glad you realised it yourself.

Uncle Naoya: very concerned the moment you breakdown. He's scooping you into his arms and whispering words of affirmation, "it's okay, it's okay. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. Honestly, even I didn't think it was a good idea for you to go in the first place." And he tells you that you don't need to go to college ("seriously, you don't. I'm like super rich and you can get my inheritance when you've suffocated me. Just please don't eat my ashes- STOP HITTING ME!") because he can bring college to you! Yeah, Naoya can hire you teachers from around the world who can teach you whatever you want!

Brother Gojo: he snickers as you bury your head into his chest. You really thought he was gonna let you go, huh? See, this is exactly why he can't let you out of his sight. You're too naive, too stupid, too gullible. The world would chew you up and spit you right out. You need him, you're too blind to see it, but you need him. To protect you, to coddle you, to tease you, to guide you. Even if it meant using a firm hand.

Dad Ethan Winters: he sends a quick text to Mia to throw away the chains because they don't need to lock you in the basement anymore. You've come to your senes! He cups your cheek and kisses your forehead before smiling down at you. "I'm glad you decided not to leave us. Rose is gonna have so much fun having a big sister to take care of her. Our family will be happy again." The words sting because you see that Ethan will never realise the trauma you've been through, both physical (from Mia) and emotional (from being neglected for Rose)

Parents Hades and Persephone: Hades is crying right with you, hugging you to his chest and sniffling while Persephone bites her lip to stifle her laughter. "I CANT- I CANT DO IT, DAD! I DONT WANT TO GO!" You cry out. "I DIDNT EVEN WANT YOU TO GO IN THE FIRST PLACE! BUT YOUR MOM SAID ITS TIME FOR YOU TO LEAVE THE NEST! I DONT WANT YOH TO LEAVE THE NEST, MY LITTLE DOVE!" And you're both sobbing because you've practically been attached to them from birth, never being apart for more than a day or two. Persephone just chuckles and let's you two pull her into a cuddle pile, making a mental note to ask Athena if she can teach you instead of sending you to college.

hello so i just wanted to ask if you intend to make yandere headcanons for other IT characters and i also wanted to ask if you know and like the movie the black phone

Hi! I considered something with the Losers as a group, but if you have any specific ideas that you'd like to see, feel free to share. In case anyone's wondering, yes, Pennywise is okay to request.

The Black Phone has been on my radar for a while now, and after this message, I finally decided to watch it. Ethan Hawke is so convincing! He was a great choice to play The Grabber, what with his balance between the "I'm not as bad as they say" facade and the "you brought this on yourself" style of cruelty.

The kid actors brought a lot to the table too. He and they played off each other well, and the fact that each of the dead kids had different tips and approaches made the whole situation feel that much more real.

While most of the kids sound lost and sad, Vance storms over the line, insulting Finney with every other word. Both he and Robin were solid fighters, which goes to show that it can happen to anyone.

I like how, in his first few interactions with Finney, before we hear the details of his crimes, The Grabber almost seems to have the potential to be a sympathetic villain. As in, maybe he wants a son or has terrible social skills and truthfully thinks he's not hurting the kids.

But then the phone calls start, and the kids' stories throw any chance of redemption for him out the window. He is fully aware of what he is doing and enjoys it. This bait-and-switch makes The Grabber a startlingly realistic portrait of a child predator.

And while we're on the subject of abuse, I couldn't help but notice a parallel in The Grabber's second conversation with Finney. It unfolds like the conversations Finney would have with his father: The Grabber threatens to kill Finney over a minor issue, only to apologise for the threat and claim that he was "just angry, is all".

The Grabber even tries to make it up to him by offering to get him a soda, much as Finney's father would act embarrassed and tell Finney to go watch TV (knowing Finney would be watching his favourite cartoon) after beating him or his sister Gwen. It's a cornerstone of toxic relationships.

Yoohoo, I just started delving back into Dangerous Fellows. In order to get my brain squeezing out that creative juice I read what other people think characters would be like in scenarios or with a certain character trait (yandere is the trait.) If I may ask, how would you say that Yan Lawrence from Dangerous fellows would treat his darling who tried to escape from him. Or would he even keep them captive in the first place? I mean, we are talking about a apocalyptic world and he does perform extreme acts when it come to the player. Do you think he would punish his darling, if so what would he do to them?

Yan Lawrence 🥺🥺 So!! We actually get a good idea of this in the second memory you get with his route, so if you don't really want spoilers for that, I would reccomend playing it for yourself on the game (or if you want to know what I'm talking about, this video is the second memory without leaping through hoops for tickets). Yandere!Lawrence x Reader - Escapism

They say you can't outfox a fox, which can't be more true with Lawrence. He's the sneakiest yandere there could be- hell, his route already paints him as a clear yandere, so taking that times 10 means Y/N is going to struggle with escaping the school's basement he's held you hostage in.

However, your smarts and kindness got you stuck with his obsession in the first place. With how careful you approach him, how trusting you have to get him... You notice how he fails to close the door to the outside immediately.

Perfect

One night, Lawrence returns from a medicine run. A large pack is slung over his shoulder with Ethan's bat in his free hand slows him down to a half drag half walk.

"Y/N! I'm really glad to see you. Can you help with this right quick?"

Under your breath, you mutter "...Sorry for this."

"Huh-?!"

You push him to the side and rush to freedom, up the stairs and towards the moonlight beaming from the cracked windows above.

"Y/N, wait!" His words fall on deaf ears, his darling already busting the front door out to freedom.

1 week later, you're fending off a hoarde of zombies, clutching to your makeshift pack as you swat them away with a sizeable stick.

It's no use, they're already inching in, slowly lugging themselves with gnashing teeth and beady eyes. Sharpened nails tear at the air above you like the hungry fangs of snakes.

This is it. You close your eyes and accept what's going to come.

WHACK!

Inky dark red liquid spatters on the alleyway wall, the one zombie hit tumbling on the others in a stooge like manner. Repeated hits to their bodies pulverize the undead into harmless bags of rotten flesh. With one eye opened, you finally assess the damage.

Minor cuts and bruises litter your body, with a total count of 6 zombified corpses under the boots of an enraged Lawrence.

His eyes are narrowed yet reflect the sunlight, the brown reflecting an almost amber shine.

"There you are! Y/N, I thought I lost you forever!"

Lawrence quickly scoops you into a tight embrace. You'd have thought he'd be a lot more angry, but the new wet spots on your shoulder and trembling sobs coming from what was just a cold hearted killer hinted otherwise.

"Do you know what I would have done without you? How far I searched to see you again? Y/N, you could have been badly hurt! This is why you need me to protect you, darling..."

Once back at the school basement, he locks you right back in. The first (and only) escape was enough to have him watch you like a hawk for the next few weeks. After all, the rations would last up to a few months without any action. New locks and measures decorate the room, adding a rather distasteful rat cage aesthetic.

He'll never trust you the same, but slowly you can regain some semblance of faith from him with excessive love, affection, and passing his new tests of loyalty.

If this stunt was somehow pulled off again, he would resort to physical punishment... But for now, it's a cute little misunderstanding~

Hello! May I request a hc for the dangerous fellows boys of an mc who gets into an accident that causes them to lose their eyesight (permanently or temporarily I’ll let you decide). Thanks a bunch! 😊

im the queen of responding to asks 😞 also i chose to just do Ethan, Zion, and Lawrence for this one~

⚠️ tw for blood and severe injuries to the eye

Ethan:

- in this case, I’ll go with temporary blindness!

- you’re partnered up with Ethan on a patrol one night, and suddenly out of nowhere, a bright light on the school front aimed at you suddenly switches on (maybe lawrence wanted to try eliminating Ethan but caught you instead? 👀)

- this happens, and all you can see is dots in your vision. understandably, this scares you as you’re out in the dark and there are zombies around (plus the light attracts them!!) so you immediately yell out for Ethan

- it’s dumb, but the fastest way to get his attention and hopefully get out of there

- thankfully, it does work out that way, and Ethan comes rushing over to you as soon as he hears you. He’s worried to see you standing so unnaturally still, but you only briefly explain before pushing him to end the patrol early

- you still can’t see very well, so when you get to the top of the stairs inside the building, you literally collapse with tears of relief in your eyes. Ethan spends telge next few minutes comforting you until your eyesight is back properly.

Zion:

- god I just fucking realised he calls the mc kid, just like the nickname hawks uses 😩 idk how to feel about that shdhsjsj

- but ~anyway~

- “kid? ____?! what happened?”

- after a night patrol, you encounter some zombies alone, and have a struggle with them that ends up with one of them forcing your blow back onto yourself.

- The pipe in your hands comes barrelling back to you, and lands right on top of one of your closed eyes.

- by the time you escape and run into zion on the top floor of the school, it’s turned into a black eye and is bleeding considerably. you cover it as you see him, not wanting to freak him out. though, when you start crying, it still tips him off that something horrible has happened.

- it hurts badly enough that your tears muffle any words you can manage out, and by the time you actually agree to move your hand that’s covering it, you swear you see Zion’s soul leave his body for a second.

- he’s immediately cradling your face to get a better look, and the look in his eyes is so tender that the pain almost vanishes for a second.

- Zion rushes you back to the main room, and doesn’t listen to anyone around you as he looks for the right supplies to make you more comfortable. This inevitably puts him in a bad mood towards everyone but you.

- he insists that you stay in his room until you heal if you need anything. Scarlett and Lawrence try to veto this, but no one else thinks it’s a bad idea, so it happens

- and eventually, it does heal, but your eyelashes that were ripped out along with the blood that was cleaned never grow back. your eye also doesn’t fully open all of the way — rendering you almost fully blind in that eye.

Lawrence:

- bold of you to assume Lawrence would even let you go blind 🤡

- I’m kidding kind of

- I picture this as happening during his ending, when it’s only just the two of you, and you hurt your eyes by trying to escape. I don’t know the circumstances, but let’s just say something pierces your eyes on accident

- you try to hide it from him as long as you can.

- with the remaining time you can still see, you clean yourself up, and also just don’t respond to why you aren’t opening your eyes. he doesn’t deserve to know anyway.

- he at least assume as much and doesn’t question it more than he needs to. but, it’s kind of hard to hide that you’ve gone blind. muscle memory can only go so far in a new place.

- so, eventually, Lawrence puts the pieces together and confronts you about it, and you have no choice but to admit it — that you think you’ve gone blind.

- surprisingly, as much as I dislike Lawrence, I doubt that this scenario would have him in his yandere personality. I think that he would nicely help you places, and also care for you in a bit more of a gentle way

- ofc that’s not to say he wouldn’t use this to his advantage more. he’d place things in plain sight just to see if you were lying to him, or try and gaslight you into believing that he was your only way to surivive now.

- but as painful as it is, he’s right.
