Now with uncle Chris, he probably has some kind of leash around her wrist for him to either gently pull her along, hold her hand, or she just stays behind with uncle Leon while he talks about his days as a cop to her to keep her mind occupied from her shitty father and Rose

You know what? You're so right. Because Ethan would 100% tell reader off for "fucking around" and Mia keeps telling him that this is just your way "seeking their attention" so poor reader is just getting gaslight her whole life.

When she comes to the village, and Ethan abandons her to look for Rose, reader is just so very scared as she stumbles with -100 vision, all while sniffling and trying not to break down. Since she heavily relies on her hearing, sometimes reader will just run straight into a tree if she hears something. Fortunately, she has Handsome now to save her.

Chris is just punching air as he looks at you through his binoculars, telling his team to keep their eyes on you as he decides to go and fetch you himself because at this rate, you're gonna be dinner for those monsters.

I can also imagine the Lords looking at reader with sympathy as she aimlessly swings a tree trunk around to fend monsters off. Heisenberg probably just grumbles under his breath before grabbing you by the scruff of your neck and telling you to "calm down. I'll help you find your sister." before dragging you towards his factory to give you some food and a bed to sleep (and maybe his jacket, poor thing has just been one shiver from hypothermia)

I can also see Lady Dimitrescu just taking one look at you and going "this. This is my child now." Before picking you up from your armpits and carrying you to her castle, softly hushing you as you try to break free.

In general, I think they would all treat you like a frail kitten they found abandoned in the rain rather than an actual human being. And as much as you deny it, you do enjoy the warmth and care they give you.

I don't think Chris would put a leash on you. Maybe a tracker or just holds your hand as he guides you through the woods, but not a leash. That's more of Ethan's thing, especially when he becomes a yandere for you and realises you weren't actually faking any of it.

Now he's got those kiddy backpack leashes you for you, plus Mia put a tracker INSIDE your body surgically (yes, you were not willing so she knocked you out). Now they know where you are 24/7.

Be happy they don't make you wear bell around the house. (They just might in the not so distant future)

I gave too much thought to this, I don't know why I care so much about this

So when I was making memes based on the @i-cant-sing Resident Evil 8 series and some of my dumb Head cannons. For one meme I had to do some math. Y/n was at least 12-13 years old during the events of RE7 so she can be at least 15-16 years old in RE8.

So Ethan was born 1984 so let's give a random day and month so February 20th, 1984, and Mia was given a full date of birth December 14, 1984. Ethan was like 27 years old and Mia was 26 years old when they were married on May 29th, 2011.

If Y/n was made on their honeymoon let's say May 31, 2011, and she would be born on February 21st, 2012. RE7 takes place in 2017 give it a random day so June 8th. That would make Y/n 5 years old and RE8 takes place on February 9, 2021, which would make Y/n 8 years old. Which wouldn't make sense so I have to redo the math.

So Mia was 19 years old in 2004 which would make Ethan 20 years old. Let's say Mia was 19 years old when she had Y/n. The average cycle of Months of pregnancy is 8-9 months but for this let's say 8 months. Y/n was born on November 2004 the day I gave was the 12th.

During RE7 2017 y/n was 12 years old and RE8 would make Y/n 16 years old. Fun fact the Re8DLC takes place in the year 2037 making Y/n 32 years old.

rarely ever affectionate, shows her love in other extreme ways such as giving gifts (eg. putting a golden bracelet still attached to a severed hand in front of your bedroom door for your 'anniversary', wrapped in the guts of the lycan who attacked you earlier that week), and of course, words of affirmation.

she truly does love you in her own sick and twisted way, but oh, darling, she's too far gone to save.

"don't deny me. worship me, acknowledge me as your one and only savior, and you shall find what you need," her smile was like a blank canvas, begging for someone to add value to it. it made you sick the more you think about it.

someone asking you out for lunch? they didn't show up for lunch and they never talk to you again.

gets scolded by her peers due to her constantly being in your shadow and controlling everything you do but she shrugged them off.

most of the time she's not aware of how she's acting like she can't breathe without you being in the same room as her but when pointed out by you, she usually apologizes.

physically affectionate, too physically affectionate. so much so that she comes off as smothering.

unlike miranda, she can still grow and change as a person so you have hope…?

"mia, this isn't right." you pushed her away slightly. she was getting too comfortable in your personal space. it was supposed to be the only thing she'll never get a hand on but she managed to do so in the end too.

RE7Yandere Ethan Winters x reader/you

warnings: a few rather changed canon events, spoilers (kinda re8 spoilers too with one thing?), have a bit of buildup to living with him as yandere, clingy, unwanted touch, obsessive, bit of coercion, delusional behavior, sorta stockholm in a way?

(Before yandere) Ethan who you befriended while Mia was gone and offered to come with. You just had a bad feeling and didn't want him going alone. Somehow he agreed.

Cue you loyally following him and helping him every step of the way. You two watching out for each other and saving each other's asses on way more than just one occasion.

As time passes he slowly starts to feel as if he doesn't love Mia anymore. She still wouldn't tell him anything, and has kept many secrets from him in the past he eventually found out. He's having his doubts of why and how she's here even though she explained it before. The more he thinks of it, the more it feels like another lie. But you haven't lied to him. Kept serious secrets from him even if you were just friends. Even though he's only known you for like two years, you've shared everything with him. You were his rock, his staple to keep everything together when she was gone.

You never see Eveline, but Ethan does and she's not very happy of his slow change of heart. He starts latching onto you, always grabbing your hand whenever you both have to rush somewhere. Or even when it seems to be a minute breather of everything going on. You take it as him just making sure not to split up and lose each other.

That's partially true, but not fully. It's a constant, festering need that rapidly starts to grow in him to always feel you close. Even he himself at the beginning thought that it was worry you both would end up splitting up too. You're the only sane one around him besides Zoe, but she isn't physically around him in this hell. However, he quickly figures out and accepts the truth. He can't tolerate you no longer being around him.

It may be the place itself. It may be him. It may be some sort of fucked up trauma this place is giving him, or even a mix of all three. But none of it matters. Only you do at this point. He never felt as close with Mia as he feels with you now, and no longer even cares for her.

All he wants now is to get out of here with you. But he has no idea what way to get out of this hell, so he'll listen to Zoe until then. He does have a growing resentment for Mia though. Compared to you, he should have seen so many red flags from her in the past. And look now where that's made him and you end up. As a "gift" he's saving several 44 Magnum bullets he plans on using on them. Sure, it might not kill Mia anymore, but it sure as hell will at least slow her down for a while. He also doesn't like how aggressive she is on you compared to him. Sure, none of your limbs have been cut off, you haven't gotten any near-fatal injuries, but it's still bad she's targeted you first every time she comes back.

You two take a short rest break. You lean against his shoulder and end up falling asleep from the now lack of adrenaline rushing through your body.

He lets you. Zoe can wait. Lucas can for sure wait. Mia can definitely wait. It's only you who is important. He also takes the chance and injects you with the serum. You likely don't need it in the first place. He will not have Eveline trying to corrupt you. Try to take you from him. No. One. Can. He won't let them. He'll fight her with his dying breath if he has to as long as you make it out alive.

It eventually comes to a head of Zoe and Mia needing the serum.

Now he's thinking he should have waited until now to inject you to show Mia as a final "fuck you". Oh well. Doing it earlier guaranteed they couldn't swipe it from him if he tried to inject you then.

That's when you think of something. "Wait a minute. Would the serum even work?" The three look at you like you're crazy.

"Why would Eveline give the Baker's family the one thing that could kill her? She's likely not the only thing like her created. Could it be a fake from her knowing Zoe was searching?"

Now Zoe looks at you like you're stupid, while Mia looks like she had a terrifying realization. "That's a very far stretch."

Mia shakes her head, knowing she has to reveal what she's done. "No... It does."

Zoe sighs. "then it must be in the crashed ship they came on."

"the... what ship?" Ethan is trying real hard not to be upset right now. He injected you with a useless serum??

you all decide to get on the boat for now to go to the ship.

Things didn't go as planned as you guys crashed somehow at the ship, and Eveline took Ethan away.

You were wary of her from how many times she previously attacked you, but for now it really seemed she didn't want to. She admitted what she actually was, making you feel really bad for both her and Ethan.

She found the actual serum that will kill Eveline and gave it to you, yelling at Eveline all the while.

Eventually you and Mia find Ethan and work together to pull him out.

She manages to push you and Ethan out the door before closing it. He didn't put up much a resistance, just more confused what she was doing.

It finally comes to a close when you and Ethan get in the helicopter, and you're relieved to see Mia. Ethan... He's not. Especially after finding out by you he was right. She WAS a part in all the hell Eveline caused, and was even her "handler". That just drastically furthered he doesn't want a thing to do with her anymore.

She took it hard he didn't want to start over with her. Even tried to manipulate him. Since he no longer loved her he could see the signs a mile away, making himself even more angry at his past self for ignoring all of her bad things.

It didn't work. But he did beg you to live with him for at least a while. You were pressured by the Blue Umbrella agreeing with him and wanting to keep a close eye on you two for a while. He was thrilled by his luck of them agreeing.

The clinginess came on FAST. Everywhere you went in the house, or anywhere out of the house, he followed you like a lost puppy. Watching a movie? you better cuddle up to him or he's wrapping his arm around your shoulders to have you lean on him.

The most uncomfortable to you was sharing the same bed, and him cuddling you then as well. You tried to take it again as him just traumatized from the events of before. You know you sure as hell are and still scrub yourself raw every shower remembering the textures of everything. And also feeling bad for him losing Mia. He told you they broke up.

One day out of the blue he started calling you pet names. Hasn't even been a month when he started doing that. You weren't into that type of thing with a friend, and told him to knock it off.

It didn't work. He just became more adamant on it. He wanted to be with you. He absolutely loves you and every single little thing about you.

Now that blew you away. He's gotta be out of his mind. You try to ask Blue Umbrella to move, but they deny. It's as if they don't want you from him either. They don't. They know what he is but thought it would be better not to tell him. They comply to what he wants though to keep him stable. And to run tests on him, which he complies with it that will keep them making you stay with him. He doesn't think that way though.

In some sort of twisted logic in his mind, he doesn't think they're making you stay with him. You just need a little persuasion to realize how you really feel.

It's much more than persuasion though. More like light coercion by the Blue Umbrella. Warnings you'd never get to see your friends or family again did it. Now you can, but Ethan has to be with you, and you absolutely cannot tell them anything of what happened.

You hate to admit it, but as time went on, you started to love Ethan back, craving the constant touches. His constant words of praise, love, adoration, and anything else possible slowly broke your resolve of refusing to love him from it feeling wrong. He almost seemed to worship the floor you walked on, catered everything to you. Spoiled you with everything possible, and with the money given by Umbrella, anything was on affordable range.

You eventually surprise him with a kiss on his lips, sealing your fate together with him further. But hey, at least you're both happy now.

Ethan is very much an obsessive, overprotective and worshipper type of yandere

You will never anyone who is as devoted to ones one's partner as he is

He has commitment issues in the sense that he gets too committed too fast

Once he's in love he can't help but plan out the rest of your lives together in his head

Spending nearly all his time daydreaming about lovey-dovey dates, the fairytale wedding, perfect honeymoon and beyond romantic anniversaries.

He makes a very good amount of money as a system engineer and after the Baker house he got a real nice compensation for stopping Evelin

And you can bet that nearly all of it goes towards spoiling you

The attachment he has to you is only amplified by the fact you two met during the horrorific events at the Baker house

Lucas had kidnapped you, delusonally insisting you were his girlfriend and every time you fought back he'd throw a fit and lock you in the basement

It just so happend that Ethan had to pass by the basement when he first entered the house and found you there, unconscious, but way more alive looking than the creatures he's encountered so far

When he woke you he immediately started questioning you on Mia and if you had seen her, confusing the hell out of you

You told eachother everything you knew and agreed to help one another with escaping

The deeper in the house you go the more Ethan seems to lose his mind. He becomes more and more protective of you, always healing you before himself, even locking you in the saferoom a couple times. You assume he's just stressed about Mia and worried for you cause you're the only normal person in the house

But little did you know that Ethan's mold infected mind had nothing on it but you, you and only you

When the horrific night you two had was beginning to end Ethan and you found Mia and Zoe. Faced with the decision of who should have the one remaining cure he injects you with no hesitation

You likely didn't even need it, you hadn't been in the Baker house as long as them

The girls are doomed to die or even worse, become just like the mold monsters you've been fighting. In that case Ethan doesn't want them getting in the way or hurting you, oh god how the thought of you getting hurt pains him. With no remorse, nor delay, he shoots them both in the head as you watch on in shock

"...What the fuck, Ethan?!" you hardly back away a couple steps before he girmly grabs ahold of your shoulders

"Shh, shhh, it's okay, they can't hurt you anymore," he says, looking at you with nothing but pure and absolute adoration swimming in his eyes

He has you wait for him in a safe place while he goes to finish Evelin and find you two an escape from this nightmare

But just because the incident is over does not mean you're getting rid of Ethan any time soon, in fact it's quite the opposite

To him you are the only person in the world who actually matters and he'll make sure you know it

He constantly showers you with compliments and physical affection when he feels daring enough

And don't even get me started on the gift giving he does

Now you both live comfortably in a big house, having everything you could ever want, all the while Ethan dotes over you 24/7

And I do mean 24/7, he even dreamily talks about you in his dreams

You don't have to lift a finger, Ethan insists on doing all the cooking and cleaning so you can focus on whatever makes you happy and he can focus on being the perfect househusband for you <3

Just, please, give him some affection too, the way he blushes and stutters is a sight for sore eyes

Thankfully, he doesn't get jealous very easily but he does hate it when other men get overly friendly with you. But he trusts you (after all i he becomes a problem Ethan could easily kill him)

Hates being away from you for extended periods of time

Scratch that, he hates being away from you at all

He always feels like he has to keep proving his love for you even more. Whether that be gifts, vacations, acts of sercive, endless flattery or killing your enemies, he'll do it all just so he can be held by you at the end of the day

If you try getting away from him good luck, he'll go to hell and back until he finds you

Plus the government officials tasked with containing bioweapons agree that keeping you and him together is the best way to keep Ethan docile, after all you're the only thing he cares about now

So if you really don't like him, maybe it'd be better to just stay for the money, or so that he doesn't go on a killing spree, god knows he's happy as long as you two are together

• Type of Yandere: Ethan would most definitely be overprotective of his darling after what he went through at the Baker’s house. He’s seen just how vile people can be, so he’d be desperate to prevent you from ever having the chance of experiencing what he had. Which can lead him to be impulsive in nature. He was already known for his impulsive thinking amidst his friends it’s just now those thoughts have manifested into actions. Sometimes if he’s feeling overwhelmed or emotional about something it can increase his chances of acting out and perhaps doing something he hadn’t meant to.

• Love Language: Let’s say you’re washing the dishes, music drowning out the silence, and mind distracted by the task at hand. It’s these moments where Ethan will come up from behind you to wrap his arms around you and surprise you with affection. That’s what he loves doing and you noticed it’s become his way of conveying his love for you. But outside of giving surprise back hugs, Ethan will show his love through action more so than words. Having a particularly stressful day? Expect your favorite meal to be prepared as well as whatever you want to do afterward.

• Their Biggest Fear: His biggest fear is losing you and being incapable of keeping you safe. After losing Mia and seeing death as much as he had, the very same happening to you is enough to give him nightmares.

• Kidnapping: If Ethan were to ever kidnap his darling it would be out of panic induced thinking. His impulsive side will come out if you were to ever threaten to leave him. Kidnapping is the last thing on Ethan’s mind, but not one he’s particularly against either. He would disassociate during the kidnapping however, mindlessly whispering, “I’m not like them, I’m not like them,” As he keeps you where you’re meant to be.

• How Easy is it to Escape? There’s something... different about Ethan. You noticed it in the way he’ll suddenly stop talking and become attentive towards nothing that you can see as if he was being spoken to. You suspected that whatever he’s hearing is exactly what tells him what you’re doing at all times of the day so if you were in the kidnapping scenario and were about to go about your plan of escape, expect Ethan to be there in an instant.

• Punishments: Ethan’s punishments if he can help it will never be physical. If he knows that you’ve been bad or had been trying to leave him then he’d be around more often than not and not be as lenient with affection until he knows you’re feeling touch starved and would then proceed to make you beg for it. But if you ever pushed him towards the edge until he’s tipping, barely holding on to his thread of sanity, then I can see him in a rare instance raising a hand to your face and slapping you. Immediately afterward he’d forget why he was ever mad in the first place and break down crying with apologies as he holds you to his chest as if you were the one who hit him and beg you to never make him do that again.

• Difference to Other Yanderes: The mold is everywhere. Their voices tell Ethan whatever it is he wants to hear, gives him status reports on his darling’s well-being as well as tell him anything that could be alarming, as the mold is just as obsessed as Ethan is. The mold is Ethan just as much as Ethan is the mold.

Ethan carefully makes his way through Castle Dimitrescu with his head on a swivel. He unearths the entrance to the dungeon, pointing his gun forward as he cautiously makes his way through the darkness. As he explores the dungeon he points his flashlight in each of the cells until he spots you, huddled in the corner of one of the cells, chained and bloodied. You seem to be the only person whose alive down here much to Ethan’s shock.

You and Leon are hiding in the break room within the Raccoon City Police Department after a close encounter with some zombies. You watch Leon pick up handgun ammo and some herbs from the storage box in the far corner of the room. (Name) was sent to Louisiana for work 3 years after Mia's going missing, she work as a quality control system.

She tried to move on from him knowing he's married now and knowing what she did is wrong.

She cut off all contact with Ethan before Mia's went missing, she never hear the news about her so she doesn't know anything about his missing wife.

'Work, money, work, money, and work' that's what in her head.

When she arrive at her new work place she feels her stomach drop.

It was a mess, blood, dead body, and falling debrises almost everywhere.

(Name) feels so horrified for what she's seeing and the worst part is the place doesn't smell like carrion so their dead body's still new.

She tried to run away before Lucas Baker caught her.

She ended up in the Baker house.

Lucas drag her to his sick room after it.

We got happy news and bad news.

The happy news is she manage to escape from him the bad news is she got many wounds cause of his sick games and traps that make it harder to move and escape from this horrifying house.

Without weapon and bandages she doesn't even know she can make it out alive or not.

she lay down in a pile of trash slowly dying from having a bloodloss.

A few minutes later she hears foot step coming her way.

"(Name)?! Oh god!"

She feels someone pick her up and put her down somewhere carefully.

When she open her eyes she saw someone busy looking for something.

When he kneels down (Name) widen her eyes.

It's Ethan, it's Ethan freaking Winters.

"Sorry this might hurt,"he tries to take care of her wounds gently and slowly.

"I never thought we would meet again in a place like this."

Ethan said that she need to stay in Zoe's van because of her wounds.

When she slightly get better she helps him and finally get a gun to defend herself.

(Name) was too tired to realize how he always stare at her.

(Name) became a really helpful partner for him.

And finally the cure they have 1 cure in their hand, but sadly Ethan use the cure to beat Lucas.

So now the cure is only on (Name)'s hand.

(Name) wants to choose Zoe but she knows how Ethan loves his wife and it is the main goal,"I'm so sorry, Zoe."

Oh how wrong is she.

Ethan's snatch the cure from (Name)'s hand, put it on the ground and step on it until it breaks.

Everyone was shock.

"Ethan! Why did you do that!?" "That was the key to save us!" "What is wrong with you?!"

He takes (Name)'s hand and pointing a gun at Zoe and Mia,"Get out off my way or i'll shoot."

"Ethan we can still sa-"

"Get on the boat, (Name)," (Name) looks at both of them with pity.

When she tried to talk,"I said get on the boat, (Name),"her words are cut.

She slowly sit on the boat with Ethan following her.

"i'll send help,"(Name) tried to convince them they can still be save knowing they feel hopeless.

Ethan silently sit.

(Name) sit with tense body, is this how Ethan feels when she killed their college friends?

"I'm sorry i talk to you that way,"that voice again, the gentle voice that makes her melt and would do anything for him just for her to hear that voice.

She hates it so much.

She doesn't even dare to open her mouth.

Ethan and (Name) get caught by Eveline after it.

Ethan's being captured by Eveline while (Name)'s still perfectly alive.

She helps Mia when she found her and work together.

(Name) says sorry every second they're together,"Look this isn't your fault, so please stop apologizing!"

It was awkward but (Name) tries to comfort her and protect her as best as she can.

Then they finally meet Ethan.

Mia start losing control of herself, rather than kill her, (Name) tell him to run away rather than kill his wife.

Ethan still try to kill Mia, and he did it.

Now, Eveline.

They're so desparate to come at her to end all of this.

At the end both of them finally get save by Chris Redfield.

She see he threw his phone away,"we made it."

"Yeah, it's finally over,"the amount of guilt she has is agonizing.

When I tell you I adore the plot, I adore it. The idea that y/n is a childhood best friend that loves Ethan and is always sacrificing their own feelings, wants, and needs to support and be there for Ethan is so heart touching and breaking all at the same time.

I adore that y/n thinks so lowly of Mia not only due to her secrets and lies, but mix that with jealousy, you end up getting y/n thinking the worst of Mia.

You’re so creative and I love that the story gives us a perspective of before the games and after the games where Ethan comes back but not fully like himself and he’s adapting and eventually forgets. Forgets something worse happened to him and forgets to protect his mind: to block his mind from a shut down.

I always crave to want to know more when it comes to “transitions” in games, movies, tv series, books, etc. what happens in between? What happens right after?

Especially because we know that in resident evil village (SPOILERS for resident evil village) Ethan doesn’t even recall that he died and magically “respawn” due to the mold. We find out right then and there he’s an unreliable narrator at the beginning of the game where he states everything is peaches and cream after saving Mia, they move, and start a family. Which isn’t true, there was more. There was a transition period that he doesn’t even remember himself!

For anyone wondering what amazing story this person made, it’s this one. It’s so good! I love it!
