An hour have passed, both of you are now in the kitchen cooking breakfast. Well you are the one who's cooking actually, but Luca tried to help. He tried his best, you would give him kisses on the cheek as a thank you for helping you cook.

That was on day time, but on nighttime it's your turn that's being clingy on him.

"Do you have to go?" You asked him, didn't even realize that you look so, sad. You didn't want to bother him or anything, but you couldn't help it. His job is very dangerous, but you know he can do it well without you worrying.

But there are days when he came back home with a lot of injuries, you were so worried that you ended up crying as you patch up his wounds. Making him slightly panic, but like a sunshine he is, like a golden retriever. He immediately comfort you, telling you that his wounds are nothing. Tho it didn't help but, his comforting word calmed you down.

"Hey, it's okay, this wounds are nothing compared to your tears.. it hurts me when I see you cry, so don't cry okay..? I'll try not to get injured as I do my mission, is that convincing enough?"

That's that, but don't think this Mafia never get jealous, he does. But he just doesn't show them out, but his actions said other wise. If someone is flirting with you when it's so obvious that you had a lover? The guts they have to flirt Luca Kaneshiro's Lover? They're asking for a fight here.

You know Luca's signs when he's jealous, you have to get yourself out of the situation before Luca takes an action. "Luca! Let's go home shall we?" He knew he was in love with you for the longest time. George is a careful planner. He won’t jump into something as important as your relationship unless he knows how he feels. But the first time it really hits him in the face is after one of your many “sleepovers” at his house. He realizes while he’s doing laundry, that half the clothes are yours. You got so nervous coz you can't find your boyfriend in the sea of people.

He ended up hurting himself from toying around a scissors that separates each leg so that it can become a knife.

One time he got so curious about what that heavy door was for and he opened it

IT WAS AN EMERGENCY DOOR

When you stopped for lunch, you let him control the food cart.

Alright.. this is kind of a brain dump, really. Just some things I've been letting boil in my brain for a bit... This might be kinda long though, so I'll be putting it under a read more.

SBSBBSBS NOTE: THIS ISNT LIKE SOME VENT OR ANYTHING ITS about the officialverse/general writing shit and like. Me analyzing stuff. Bc. I want to. The topics gonna jump a lot.

Oh edit btw forgot to mention; it's perfectly fine to RB!! I encourage it I love seeing y'all's thoughts on my stuff. Please argue with me (in a safe and loving way)

Idk... It's just. The whole point of a RP is that it's a multiple person experience, yeah, but there are parts of a character that people have made that need to see light. I generally make support characters so everyone else can go buckwild and have fun (being the healer in RPGs, etc etc etc), and that doesn't just carry over to stats. If you look at Lyra, she's a genuinely interesting person with a rich past, and she FEELS real! Why is that? Because, well.. she doesn't infodump about her life to every person she meets- I can't really speak because the way I make characters is that I start with what they look like and a general base personality/backstory, plus things their good at, make the rest up as I rp (plus revise old stuff). She wasn't always a licensed therapist, I just looked at how everyone else was going and molded her character to fit the current group while she was still new and impressionable- she filled the roles that were lacking. When there's an excess angst, you need a person for your character to spill their traumatic past to. Shes that person, and it helps for her to be professionally qualified to do it, so it's never out of character.

But.. the group has changed. A lot. And I've rped things in the past that make ZERO sense for her character. (She was low-key manipulative at some points-) and with the whole The Haze(period of time in which no one was rping and online for like. A WHIILE.) Everyone's characters have changed and.. she can't really keep up with the status quo. All this stuff changing and moving and shifting- I mean she's trying to be supportive but I can't even really let her have a proper mental breakdown so she can grow because the narrative is dealing with way more important things!!!! There's no time! People might die!!

I guess, pulling back into what I was talking about earlier with the infodumping.. RP is supposed to be fun, absolutely correct!! Don't be perfect. Do fuck all. Screw around!!!! But.. it has to be fun for everyone, you know? There's like. The general rp rules, (don't kill another person's character without consent, don't be an asshole or no one will reply to ur rp threads,) etc etc but.. an important one is to just.

Give breathing room.

Let the characters breathe. In between arcs, allow time for fluff or recovery yeah, but also make sure that.. you don't pile things on. You risk pushing people out of the narrative when you put extra things in. For example, Vina, Ellie, Wasabi and Lyra totally just got overshadowed, which makes sense because flower was having a HER moment!! Lots of exiting plot is happening for her and I'm proud! Except then there's all the M!As and then brainwashing anon who may or may not tie into the previous stuff, and then ALSO e!lavender and now their in a forest? Which makes sense for flower I guess but how the fuck did vina get there? Inviz?

I guess just. Don't pile on problem after problem or idea after idea before you solve one. Sub plots are needed, yes, but sub plots should either be there for breathing room or to further the greater narrative, which is currently like. Whatever the fuck happened during The Haze, what the fucks up with this corporation,etc etc. current subplots that further that would be like BW(brainwashing) anon, Flowers whole metal thing, etc etc.

There's obviously going to be personal plots!! Plots that your character is working on within them. Lyra worrying and sorta having a crisis about all the shit happening, Wasabi's recovery, Inviz trying to find out what the fuck happened with his anon blaster. Those are all things that only a select few people really interfere with, and theyre instead explained through thoughts and narration.

Also: UTILIZE NARRATION PLEAAASSE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I love you all but DIALOGUE IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO SHOW EMOTION your repressed character dealing with extreme trauma isn't gonna go

"Oh im just here because I'm new and my parents abandoned me here because they knew the chief and were about to die, the wings are from my mom who is an angel."

"oh yea where's the bathroom btw" PLEAASE let your characters SHOW their internal dialogue, like maybe

"OH- sorry, still getting used to this where's the bathroom?"

What she didn't want to say was that it was actually her first day. She attempted to hide her wings by folding them into her back. She didnt want any questions about it, even if she would like to talk about it to someone..

That gives the other person space to let their character decide if they notice the other person looking a bit distressed, and for both of you to sort of get to know how each others characters interact BEFORE jumping into the heavy plot. Give it time!

You were feeling lonley. I mean why wouldn't you? Your boyfriend has been in his room for more than 6 hours, Editing his live stream. You just wanted an ounce of his attention, Maybe just a peck on the lips would be okey (but obviously not enough.)

You debated whether you should go in his room or sit there and watch another cheesy movie and make fun of it. You wondered abit and decided to go to your boyfriend's room and serve hin water at least to quench his thirst after all he has been in there for a while now.

You grab a glass and poured water in it (I know, Shocker) and made your way to Clay's room. You knocked three times and didn't hear an answer. Assuming he didn't hear you, You invited yourself in. "Clay.." You called out softly and carefully walking towards him. You called to him again but still no answer. You tapped his shoulder and his body jolted upwards. He turn to you, his eyebrows were scrunched and his fist were clenched tight. "what the fuck?! Do you ever learn how to fucking knock?!" The tone of his voice surprised and scared you a bit. "Sorry, I just wanted to bring you a glass of water since...you..." Your voice got lower and lower as you spoke. Clay ruffled his hair and smacked the glass out of your hands. " I don't need your stupid water you annoying bitch. " He turned back to his computer and rubbed his temples.

You could feel tears ready to roll down to your face as you knelt down and picked the broken pieces of glass. As you did yout task, Due to your watery eyes you couldn't really see well and as a result, a cut made it's way to your finger. The blood ran down your finger as you clutched your hand. A choked sob made it's way to Clay's ears and he gave you a side eye and sighed. "Just leave it alone already, god you can't even clean things right..useless" He murmured the last part but it was still audible to your ears.

You nodded your head and said a small sorry and scrambled out of his room. You walked to the kitchen to clean the cut and placed a bandaid on it. It hurts. Not just the cut on your finger, The words that clay said to you.

Annoying...Useless...

Those words echoed through your mind, taunting you. You walked back to the couch and wrapped yourself in the blankets. You stared mindlessly at the TV and thought about what he said. Dark thoughts immediately filled your head.

'see, I told you...Clay would never love you...Everything is temporary'

'Gosh If only you weren't so selfish'

'Just leave already, Clay doesn't want you anymore...Not like he did in the first place though.'

'He dated you out of pity, Can't you see that?'

You have no idea how many hours had passed by but you were brought back to reality by Clay nudging you a bit. You quickly moved to the other side of the couch in fear of him hurting you. Your actions made Clay's heart ache. He didn't mean to lash out on you. Stress and Anger were overwhelming him and it just happened that you were the one who he yelled at. He scooted closer while you hid under the blankets, Fresh tears streaming down your face.

" Y/n? " He called out. You peeked a bit an whispered " Don't hurt me please..." Clay felt guilty. He didn't mean to hurt you. "No, baby...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to...I promise I won't hurt you" He opener his arms waiting for you to come to him and hug him. It took a couple of seconds till you crawled over to him and sat on his lap and cried. He ran his fingers through your hair while saying something like "I'm sorry" , " It won't happen again " Or just simply trying to calm you down. Clay pulled you back a bit and looked at your puffy eyes. He leaned to you and kissed your eyes. Your cheeks. Forehead. Nose. And finally your lips.

"Clay..." He hummed in response ad he pulled you back into his chest. "Do you find me annoying? Useless?" You clutched his hoodie tightly as you trembled in his hold. "Aww baby of course not." He cupped your cheeks, pulling you back in the process and leaned your foreheads together. "I'm so sorry for the things I've said to you awhile ago...I didn't mean it...I promise...It's just..Stress...I know it's not a valid reason but please forgive me?" You closed your eyes and leaned to his touch. You nodded with a small "mhm"

Clay couldn't help but smile. He was happy that you were able yo forgive him. He moved his hands down to intertwine it with yours only to feel the small bandaid around one if your fingers. He looked at you and expected and answer. "I got cut while picking the glass awhile ago" You looked at him and continued "it still hurts a bit" He nodded and kissed your injured finger. "I'm so sorry baby.." You nodded and cuddled back to Clay. "Is their anything that I can do to make it up to you?" He asked as he rubbed your back in a soothing manner. "Ice cream please" " Why ice cream?"

"Because Ice cream makes me feel better. And also because ice cream reminds me of our first date" He could feel you grinning on his shoulder as he laughed a bit. "Well then, ice cream it is."

as soon as he heard your voice, he froze and his face tinted pink

Day 4: Oops (PENTAGON: Jung Wooseok)

once again filling out prompts for this list. this turned out shorter than last night's with xion cuz i had a hard time with the prompt, which is:

Day 4: Mistaken Identity

assigned a prompt for each kpop boy i write for earlier today, so i'll make a master list shortly after posting this so you guys can look forward to it if y'all want ehehe

The tall man in front of you turns, startled by your hand suddenly pulling at his bright red hoodie. “Hey, Shinji, I’ve been yelling at you for like, five minutes, man!” you tell him, almost yelling in the crowded lobby. The concert hall is more packed than you thought, and you regret ever suggesting to just arrive separately.

Shinji is a bit hard of hearing, so you’re used to him not responding to your call, but he usually replies after you repeat your question a few times. It’s even more difficult for him at such a crowded and loud venue, full of people excited and impatient to file into the hall and enjoy the performance.

You’re about to ask him to go with you to the merch booth when the man pulls down his mask, face scrunched up in confusion.

It’s not Shinji.

You immediately let go of his sweater. “OMG, I’m sorry, I thought you were my friend!”

The moment he felt someone pulling at his sleeve, Wooseok started freaking out. He’d accidentally uploaded a picture of his concert ticket on one of the many confusing apps the group has yesterday, and although he took it down right away, he’s sure some of his fans had seen it.

He knows the fans are nice and sweet, but he still can’t help but freak out. Wooseok ultimately decided to still attend the concert though, because the ticket is quite expensive and the artist almost never comes to Korea, and he doesn’t know when he’ll get another chance to watch them live.

But when he looks at you and sees your blank face—no trace of shock or excitement whatsoever—he calms down a bit, lowers his shoulders an inch. “You don’t know who I am?” he can’t help but ask.

Wooseok sees your eyes shift. “Um,” you say. “Sorry… should I?” He barely hears you over the chatter of concert-goers around you, but breathes a sigh of relief when he processes your words.

“Yeah, no—forget what I said,” he stammers, pulling his mask up again to cover his face and fixing the yellow beanie atop his head. “I’ll uh… get going! Hope you find your friend soon.”

“Yeah, thanks,” you say, already looking around for the elusive friend. “I think I see him.” He follows your gaze and sees a fellow tall guy, skinny like him, and also wearing a red hoodie; no wonder you got him confused for someone else. “Sorry again! Enjoy the concert!”

Wooseok watches as you squeeze through the sea of people to the dude he’s assuming in Shinji, and stalks away himself, moving closer to the concert hall doors to chill. He leans against the wall and opens his phone, immediately going to the PENTAGON group chat to send a message to his brothers.

PENJELBE: hyungs, so i’m at the concert right

PENJELBE: someone just randomly grabbed my shirt cuz they thought i was her friend

KINOOO: kkkkk did they recognize you?

PENJELBE: NO THEY DIDN’T!!!

PENJELBE: they literally just thought i was the friend cuz im tall and wearing a red shirt

description: you and todoroki have been dating for awhile now, but recently he realised he never initiates dates, and so he planned and invited u to an amusement park for a date.

sooo, the first few weeks into ur relationship(?) he was alr facing his first crisis.

he felt like nothing changed, despite having transitioned from a platonic to romantic relationship.

and so, being the sweet and clueless lil bean he is, he went to seek for advice from his one and only bestie bakugou, midoriya.

“hey, midoriya, what does one do in a relationship” why am i making him talk like someone from the shakespearean era tf

“oh, um todoroki?? are u asking for y/n? if so, i don't think im not the right person u should be asking,, i mean ive never even been in a rela--”

“well, u were my best choice”

midoriya notices the absolute chaos they are surrounded by in the 1A dorm

“ok i may be the best choice.” said in tiny.

so after a discussion that dragged for way longer than it had to be 2 days, todoroki settled on the idea of bringing u on a date to the amusement park.

cute idea right? yes. there's no twist, like i said this is a fluff.

so ur date started with u dragging shouto around the entire park, with the goal of riding every single ride

ofc he was fine with it, he was happy as long as he got to spend time with u. a simp.

but since u guys went on a weekend, there were way more people than u guys originally expected, like wHOA,,,

the park was basically filled with people from all over the world, even though it wasn't holiday season..

so ur dreams and hopes of riding eery single ride, may be impossible..

hAH, YOU THOUGHT, YOUR MANZ FATHER MAY BE THE WORST PERSON ON EARTH, BUT HES STILL TOP 2 HERO.

ur manz got u the express pass.

the one time ur grateful for the existence of his father.

so yall spent the first 2-4 hours just riding every single ride u could possibly find.

shouto’s probably the type that is willing to try anything, i don't think he’ll be scared of any rides in particular.

in the contrary, i feel like there'll be rides that he's lowkey excited to ride on, since he never had the chance to enjoy these events and places as a child. cuz of his sh*tty father.

he would ofc try to hide his excitement, but after being by his side for awhile, uve learnt how to differentiate his different emotions, despite his general nonchalant self.

him being excited, makes u happy, cuz its rare that u get to see these sides of him.

omg pls protect him at all costs,, he needs it,,, he's so precious,, shower him with all the love in the world.

so y'all be running all over the place, until hunger slaps u in the face like that isekai truck that ive been waiting for.

and so its food time!

“hmm, since were in an amusement park, we should get some hot dogs, churros, oMG and cotton candy!!”

“..what? c-ch-churros?? what are those?”

“holy sh-- u don't kNOW WHAT CHURROS ARE!? we’re getting churros right now.”

u ended up getting both. cuz it isn't todoroki without cold soba.

and it was back to running around the entire park riding everything.

but instead of running yallz were walking hand in hand, as if u guys were an old couple taking a stroll in the local park

and instead of the entire park, y'all were just in the harry potter section..

don't judge, its cute. and the food did some numbers to ur stomachs, so u were avoiding some rides till u digest ur food.

while walking around, the sun was setting creating a beautiful scenery.

wanting this to be a lasting memory, u convinced todoroki to take a photo together.

u wanted to take an aesthetic couple photo to show off to other people who were trying to steal ur hunk of a man.

at first u had asked random passerby to help yalls take a photo,, but being the attention-starved lil bby he is, he felt awkward posing in front of random people.

which led u guys to just set up the camera on a small ledge with a castle in the bg.

it was then, todoroki had experience a flashback to the conversation that him and midoriya had.

“hmm, wikihow says that every date has to end in a kiss, for it to be called successful..”

“is this website trustable??”

“it should be.. anyways just do it.”

coming back to reality, todoroki suddenly felt a sense of urgency, the date was coming to an end, and he hasn't kissed u yet,,,,

at that moment, as the timer of the phone camera was reaching 0, with u and ur wide smile posing for the camera

todoroki gently turned ur head to face his, and he had kissed u, for public display.

ur face immediately turned red, but u eventually returned the kiss, after getting over the shock.

after separating, todoroki was silent, slightly scared and worried of ur reaction(?)

“why didn't u tell me u were going to kiss me~~ u should've told me so i can at least look good in the photo~~”

“..huh? well, um, i just had he sudden urge to do it?” kinda ooc

he was flustered, confused, embarrassed and giddy all at the same time

but the hugest wave of relief came over him, as he began to relax.

“well we can just take another photo if u don't like it--”

“nO, i like this photo. but im always open for another kiss.” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

getting over ur prior embarrassment, u tried flirting with him, returning the bold action he had pulled off earlier.

“well, i wouldn't reject an offer like that would i..”

surprising u by picking up on the offer u suggested, todoroki gave u another kiss, easily taking ur breathe away.

well, ig this just confirms that wikihow is reliable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i can't believe i ended a fic with a kiss,, this is the most cop out ending ive written but im way too tired to write properly rn,,

They always bullied u and physically hurt you like now u was being pushed around by ur enemy Jessica and her friends. You couldn't do it anymore u had enough of this keeping quiet and hiding the pain. "Jungkook it's wa-" you got cut of by someone's hand being your shoulder. " Omg Y/N what happened to you!" It's was Jessica. "Jessica did you see who did this to her" Jungkook asked her. "no Kookie if I did I would have beat their asses up" Jessica said. "She such a snake" you though to urself. "Y/N tell me who did this" Jungkook questioned again. "I didn't get to see they ran away before I could see" you lied as Jessica was squeezing your shoulder. "Oh ok, come sit down and eat something you weak" Jungkook replied. As you sat down Jessica sat next down next to Jungkook wrapping her hand around her arm. You started munching on food when Jessica spoke "Kookie~" you cringed internally. "Did you tell y/n that we are together?" She asked Jungkook. You chocked on ur food and looked at Jungkook with wide eyes. "Oh yes, Y/N, Jessica is my girlfriend now" you felt like screaming. He leaned over and kissed her, you felt your tears begin to fall so you ran out the cafeteria you hear Jungkook shouting you name but ignored him. You ran to the hallway when someone grabbed your arm pulling you to stop and turned you around, it's was Jungkook you cursed that he is so fast and fit. "Y/N what the hell?why did you run away?" He questioned. You can't anymore "because I LOVE YOU JUNGKOOK" You screamed your chest heaving. You feel Jungkook let go of ur arms. You look at him "Y/N How- I- Jessica I love her" he stammered. "Ha I knew it you just a player Jungkook and it's a shame that I fell for you that I had to go through so much torture just for you, that I suffered depression and anxiety just knowing you never will love me" you shouted. " What you mean torture?" He questioned eyebrows furrowed. " All these scars, they are from your darling girlfriend... She was so jealous of our friendship that she abused me and beat me... I tried avoiding you to make her stop but you just came back to me" you heaved with tears streaming down ur face. Jungkook stood there speechless. "don't have anything to huh I suffered so much abuse not only by Jessica but all the other girls who loved u, I suffered depression because of the notes they sent me threatening to kill me to the point I nearly commit suicide" you bellowed. " I'm a fool for loving you" you said by running awa. Jungkook stood there taking in everything you just told him.

You avoided Jungkook every since then, you never left your room unless for food and water but stayed locked inside there. You parents knew everything and tried getting you to go to leave for school but you just didn't speak. It's been 3weeks now and Jungkook tried coming to see you but ur dad chased him away. You was in bed when there were knocks on the door. "Y/N open up" it's was Jungkook. "What was he doing here" you thought. He kept banging on ur door till you answered him " what do you want Jungkook?" You question standing near the door hand on the handle but debating on whether to open or not. "I f*cker up Y/N, I should have notice you was suffering and should have protected you better, you my best friend and I can't lose you not ever, plz let me in" something in the way he spoke made you open the door. Before you can even talk you was crushed by a hug. Jungkook held you close his hand on ur waist holding you near an his head your shoulder, you feel something fall on you shoulder he is crying "Jungkoo-" "Y/N I can't live without you, I might screw girls I over and not care if they get hurt but you Y/N you the only I can't hurt" he said " I'm willing to try and be ur boyfriend if you still want me" he said. You pushed him away and looked him is eyes. His hair is messy and his clothes are messed up, you take notice of the dark cycles under his eyes he hasn't been taking care of himself. "jungkook I love you but I don't want you to date me out of pitty" you say. " no I'm not doing this out of pitty but because I realized how much you really mean to me. It took you ignoring me for weeks to get me realize I need you in my life I don't care about other girls"he proclaims "but Jessica" you ask. " I reported her and her friends to the principal he suspended them and I made it clear it clear to all the other girls to leave you alone"he claims. You look in your eyes and you can see he is desperate. "Y/N I don't know if it's love bug the way I feel for you is unexplainable and I know that I never felt like this about a girl, please give me a chance" he begs. "Okay Jungkook" you answer. He hugs you again. " I love you Jungkook" "I'll learn to understand this feeling but I love you too" He draws away from the hug and kisses you. You feel a million of butterflies in your tummy, his lips are so soft and sweet. They feel so amazing against you. Thought you dreamed of a better love story than this it's still amazing as it has Jungkook in it and you know he will learn to understand love. As you guys drew back for air you him in eyes "Is this the end of playboy Jungkook?"you ask with a smile. " yess baby" at the sound of the nickname you felt giddy and giggled. He gave his bunny smile and kissed you again. You truly love this man

part one!

summary: you're a summer lifeguard at coney island's beach and peter convinces his friends to go. y'all are 18 in this and just graduated! 2.9k words

warnings: none really, just swearing, fluff and spice woo part two is gonna be spicier oops

peter knew from the moment you told him you were working on coney island's beach this summer that he would be there as much as possible. he had liked you all throughout high school. literally all four years and never did anything about it. but now high school was over and he knew you would slip right past him. plus seeing you on the beach in a tight red bathing suit? how could he say no to that. and of course, red was really his favorite color, and seeing it on you...that would be heaven.

you had discussed summer plans with peter and you told him of your new job. you told him how you would drive there every morning at 8 am and be there till 6 pm. 7 days of the week. but hey it payed well and you loved the beach. lots of kids from school frequented the beach too, so it's be nice to see your friends—and maybe part of you hoped you'd see peter.

peter had mentioned he had a night job in queens and besides that no other plans. you liked the boy. there was something about him that was just so endearing and when you talked or even looked at him you got butterflies. and don't even get me started on how you felt thinking about him.

you were all set the next day to go down to the beach for your first day in the job, feeling ecstatic. you had bought several different styles of red bathing suits, lots of sunscreen and a cute pair of sunglasses. you went through intense training about a month ago and were all ready to go. you'd spent other summers life guarding at your neighborhood pool, but wanted to go down to the beach for something different before heading off to college. and hey maybe you'll get to see a super cute boy aka peter there sometime, you dropped him hints.

the night of the last day of school, peter met up with ned, mj, and betty for celebratory pizza when he brought up the idea.

"so how 'bout we go down to the beach tomorrow? coney island," he asked while chewing.

michelle laughed, "why? because you know y/n is working there?"

"what? no! i didn't know she was working on eighth street."

"no one said she was working on eighth street peter," betty snapped.

"well i—"

michelle smirked, "just admit it, you like y/n."

michelle was one of your close friends and knew you somewhat liked peter so this was fun for her. but she was so happy he liked you back. you constantly complained about needing a boyfriend.

peter threw his hands up in defeat, "okay! okay! i like her!"

"i knew it!" ned screamed causing people in the pizza shop to look over at them awkwardly. "sorry."

peter's face flushed, "so, the beach?" everyone nodded. it was the beach for god sakes. hell yeah. and coney island was what they were all used to.

"i'm guessing we are going to eighth street right?" michelle teased.

"uh huh, and you're driving because you're the only one with a car!"

michelle groaned obnoxiously, "fine! but y'all are giving me gas money."

"we have to leave early so we don't get caught up in traffic," betty added.

"there's always traffic," ned replied.

"still there might be less."

"i don't think so it's summer—"

"guys stop! it's settled. eighth street, we'll leave at 8:30, mj is driving," peter spat.

everyone finally agreed and finished the last of the pizza. michelle got up to leave and said, "everyone meet at ned's i'll be there at exactly 8:30. if you're late we leave with out you, see ya losers."

the next morning at exactly 8:30 am, michelle pulled up outside ned's apartment in her dingy vintage car. ned was dressed to the nines in beach attire, as was betty. meanwhile peter was simply wearing flip flops, swim trunks and a white muscle tee, along with a blue beach towel draped around his shoulders. he had his grey backpack filled with snacks, sunscreen, his wallet, and other random shit. his black sunglasses shielded his eyes, as did his long brown curls that he had been growing out. it was almost 90° as well, so needless to say this was a much needed beach day. the boys packed some beach chairs and an umbrella into michelle's trunk then everyone hopped in the car, betty in the passenger seat, ned and peter in the back.

the drive wasn't too bad, it took 45 minutes with the traffic like said. and luckily they were able to find a parking spot in about five minutes of arriving which was rare. everyone got out and grabbed their things, running to the beach.

"guys! we should set up close to the lifeguard stand, you know in case of emergency," peter yelled over the noisy wind and boardwalk.

"you mean a y/n emergency?" michelle laughed causing peter to turn red. michelle decided to lead the rest of the way onto the beach and down the mat to find an open spot. michelle plopped her chair down like ten feet to the right of your lifeguard stand. the boys and betty were still trudging through the sand.

"hey y/n!" michelle called up to you.

"mj! hey! what are you doing here? i thought you hated the beach!"

"i do! i'm just a chauffeur. but hey i wanted to see you too!"

"oh cool!" you shouted back, taking long looks at the water since your coworker wasn't here yet. "who are you with?"

as you asked that, the staggering three came into your view and they all waved to you. peter was at the back of the group acting relatively shy. "i'll make sure you guys don't drown!" you shouted again, making them laugh. you got back to looking out in the water through your sunglasses, the cool shade of an umbrella over your head allowing you to somewhat relax from the intense heat. meanwhile, peter was taking glances at you every few seconds as the crew set up their beach spot. michelle immediately sat down in her chair, pulling out a book. ned and betty set up the other chairs and laid down a sheet in front of them to put their coolers and bags on, throwing a shoe on each corner. peter set up the umbrella since he was obviously the strongest one to stick in through the sand. he easily pushed it into the sand and pulled the cover up, making a nice circle of shade around the four of them. you couldn't deny that you snuck a look or two at peter's clenching back muscles as he jammed the umbrella into the ground.

"mj, wanna go touch the water with us?" ned asked innocently.

"no."

"okay then..."

peter hopped out of his chair and started toward the lifeguard stand before stopping on his tracks at the sight of you greeting your apparent coworker. your coworker was a guy, probably around 20 years old and obviously good looking. he had messy blond hair paired with abs. nothing like peter's though. peter suddenly felt a pang of jealousy as you laughed at something he said. he watched the guy put a hand on your back, as he settled down. peter returned to his chair and slumped down, cheeks red from both the sun and jealousy. once peter sat down you scanned your eyes around looking for him and eventually landing on the boy in his chair.

your coworker was busy watching everyone in the water but you hopped down from the stand to keep an eye on some little kids...and maybe peter. just as your feet hit the sand, a gust of wind blew by, pulling peter's beach umbrella out of the ground and almost smacking you down, had you not caught it. peter had jumped up to try to grab and it and he ran after the umbrella only to be met by you holding it out to him. "here you go pete," you said smiling.

"thanks," he whispered, grabbing the umbrella from your hands.

"you gonna swim?" you asked him.

"oh," he looked at the water then back at you, trying not to get distracted by how good your boobs looked in that top, "yeah. we're gonna swim like, soon."

"cool."

"yeah," he said twirling the umbrella stick in between his hands.

"it's great to see you peter, you look great."

he blushed, looking down then back up, "you do too. look good i mean. you look great y/n...red suits you."

"thanks," you giggled. you had to stop yourself from reaching out and feeling his muscles. there was a moment of silence between you two until you realized you had to work. "i'm gonna uh, you know, get back to work. i'll find you on my break, be careful out there."

"what took you so long? i could barely see my book!"

"i was talking to y/n. she said she's gonna find me on her break," he happily stated. peter had a little bounce in his step now, feeling more energised and confident. "c'mon guys! let's go swimming!"

"i'll pass," michelle shouted.

ned and betty obliged and got ready to head into the water. peter put his sunglasses in his back pack, not caring to lose yet another pair in the ocean. then he pulled off his shirt, revealing his once hidden abs to the world. his swim trunks sat on his hips, exposing his v-like slightly. you were lucky to have caught a glimpse of this show, sucking in a sharp breath when peter pulled off his shirt. shit. he was hot. of course he was.

he ran down the sand and straight into the water, diving under a wave when it got deep enough. you watched him intently, back muscles flexing when he dove. as he came up out of the water, he whipped his curls out of his face, facing you. you had no idea if it was on purpose or not but god did it make you shiver. this was gonna be a long day.

you watched him gracefully swim in the water and body surf waves so effortlessly. it made being a lifeguard less boring in all honesty. but gosh were you besotted with him. and when he walked out of the water to go back to his chair, it was like he was walking in slow motion, the way hot people do in movies. and it was gorgeous to watch. water was dripping all the way down his body. droplets would fall from his now even darker, wet curls onto his face and down his neck, then onto his broad chest and toned abs, finally reaching the waist band of his swim trunks. right to his v-line. you almost audibly gasped right there.

as peter walked by the stand he looked up at you, again running a hand through his wet curls to push it out of his face. he grinned at you, knowing you were watching him. and you stared right back. he was showing off wasn't he? two can play this game. you pushed your sunglasses back up on your head and made direct eye contact with him, causing peter to stumble in the sand. you laughed and put your glasses back down. he was so cute and hot at the same time. how?

when your break came around, you decide to head into the water and cool off. your coworker took over, watching you climb down the stand, as did peter. you slowly strutted toward the water, walking in slowly before it got deeper and dunking your head under the cool water. peter eyed you from the beach, hunching over with his elbows on his thighs. his sunglasses blocked the lustful gaze from anyone else's view luckily. when you came up out of the water he watched it drip all over your body and glisten on your face. he couldn't take his eyes off you.

you looked over to peter, since you did promise you'd find him during your break. you saw he was staring at you and just smirked. you pointed at him on the beach. he sat up in shock and poked his finger on his chest as to say, 'wait, me?' you then curled your finger toward your body in a come here motion, obvious to peter. he stood up and went straight to you in the water, swimming out past the waves to you. as he got to your side you noticed how flushed his face was, you couldn't tell if it was from sunburn or something else. it was the latter.

"hey," you started.

"hey y/n."

"so what goes on?"

"nothing really..just...swimming."

"well i'm glad you're here. it made me really happy."

"me too. i'm happy to see you too." the two of you were just floating in the water, up and down waves with each other.

"you know i didn't think you'd actually come."

"what do you mean?"

"well obviously i wanted you to come while i'm working. i was dropping hints in school, if you couldn't tell."

peter chuckled, "no, no. i picked up on them. you're ah, you're really cool."

"so are you." you smiled at each other now, just enjoying the company and the semi peacefulness. until your coworker blew his whistle and pointed at you.

"that's me, i gotta go. see you later peter!" you swam off towards shore, peter watching you all the way to the stand. he smiled to himself, giddy over the fact that you wanted him to come here. and he just wanted to spend every second with you. you were truly the kindest and most beautiful person ever, that he couldn't get enough of.

now all he had to do was ask you on a date.

The whole room shuts up while fortunately your wig stays on properly and you just get up, brushing off your clothes and pick up the plant like its nbd

Before speed-walking off back into the movie theater

And you wedge yourself beside Kun and just sit there holding his arm and burying your face in it from still being embarrassed

But he doesn't even mind cause it's a scary movie and he's highkey freaked out too

When the movie finally finishes its time for dinner already

So y'all go out back into the sunset almost night while Lucas is still tryna reenact the movie

"The monster was like ahsjdjdjdjdjdjdgghhh and then the girl was like 'help me someone!' but then he was like 'ahajajahhsshdhhgggg no one can help you now bitch' and just ate her."

Kun is scared shitless walking but tries to put up a front and reaches for his man bag that has pepper spray as he scans the area

But you're like "Y'all I'm starving what should we eat?"

Lucas just shrugs but Kun snaps his fingers making u jump a bit

"I've been wanting to try out this amazing five cheese mac and cheese recipe so we can have that for dinner!"

So y'all go back to the dorms and get out of your sweaty disguises and snack on crackers and chips while Kun is dicing and shredding away

"Why aren't you hangin with Jaems today?" Lucas pops a chip in his mouth and asks u

"Uhhhhh idk? I just wanted a day to myself?"

He looks at you, the bubbly cheery jumpiness gone and a disbelieving look replacing it

"(Y/n) you've spent like your entire life with him and you're always over atleast like 6 days in a week. But now all of a sudden, you choose to spend 3 days without him?"

You freeze, stopping your hand from grabbing a cracker

"How do you know that?"

Kun starts singing in the background while Lucas shrugs once again,

"That's all he's been talking about this weekend. And I don't even spend much time with him but Chenle and Renjun have come over to tell me that it's getting annoying and they just want you to to get a room and just get together already."

You jump up, a burst of adrenaline shooting through u and say to Kuncas

Lucas grumbling a "finally." but still smiling a bit proud of bein the one to instigate u

And Kun just shakes his head with a motherly smile, proud of you and what you've become

You run outta there and down to the first floor where the dreamies are and burst in

And they're all sittin down in front of the couch and for some reason there are other random people with them?

And you're like ???????

Cause you know they're not allowed to have parties but what is this????

You don't see Jaemin in sight anywhere but you try to focus on what's in front of you first

"What is this?" You say, crossing your arms like a mom

"Uh it's just some of our school friends (y/n) why u so mad lol" Jisung replies.

You shoot the boy a glare and he looks down at the ground while you politely say,

"Hey you guys, I'm sorry but nct dream isn't allowed any non member in this dorm unless they're family or from their company so you guys have to go now."

And the ppl look kinda high and snooty and one of em even has the balls to say,

"Well who are you to them then? Last time I checked, you're just a Jaemin follower."

And stg, ur boutta get up in their face and start throwin punches when you hear a voice say,

"(Y/n)'s not following me, I'm the one chasing after them."

And who pops out of his room?

Mr. Nananana nananana Jaemin.

In just a simple black hoodie and gray sweats but like okAY?????!!!!

And he comes over to you, sliding his arm around your waist as he says with no emotion,

"So why don't you and your lil friends skedaddle on outta here."

The person who shot back at u gets all red and angrily ushers the others to go with them and they leave

Meanwhile the room is super silent until Chenle starts pterodactyl laughing and gets up saying,

"Well it's been fun guys but I'm off to sleep now."

"Yep!" "Me too!" "Couldn't have said it any better!"

"Hold it." Jaemin puts his hand out,

"Clean up this mess first and remember all of you, I don't care if you're older than me or not. But never invite anyone over unless it's like what (y/n) said, got it?"

Your heart is beating like 2pm's heartbeat and you're just kinda standing still while Jaemin's hand rests comfortably on your hip making you feel some typa way

But the boys listen to him and soon enough they're gone back into their rooms most likely makin a gc and venting about u two lol

Jaemin moves so that now he's behind you, both hands wrapped around your waist and his chin resting on your shoulder as he mumbles,

"What were you doing at the movies today?"

And you're like

Well shit

He caught me

And maybe it's cause you haven't seen him in so long nor been so close that,,,

Your whole body is super aware of his warm hands and the way you feel so safe being back-hugged by him

"I uh ummmm....."

He nuzzles his head into your neck, his warm breath blowing over it as he softly says,

"I really missed you, you know? I thought you weren't going to be available today so I didn't bother messaging you. Actually that was the hardest part, stopping myself from messaging you because I didn't wanna bother you."

His lips are right on your skin as he mumbles his random thoughts

and though Jaemin's always been one for skinship, he's never had his lips on any part of your skin before

"J-Jaemin, c-can you back up a b-bit."

You feel his lips twitch and he slowly glides them across your neck mumbling a why

But he knows goddamn why

With your irregular breathing and your hands over his, he knows just why you're feeling this way

You try to wiggle out of his arms but to no avail as his grip is strong

"Jaemin you're making me sweat can you let go of me so I can breathe properly?"

He obliges and let's go and you turn around to face him to speak but he beats ya to it

"I-I like you (y/n). And I know you've been avoiding me to see if you like me too." He blushes, his neck getting red and averts his soft brown eyes to your clothes as he continues,

"The others told me about it and told me to do the same thing so I, I actually listened and tried super hard not to contact you at all. And it worked. Except,"

Jaemin stepped in closer, your faces merely inches apart as he whispered,

"I realized I can't do this anymore and that I like you, possibly even love you. And I know you feel the same, you must, after creeping on me from behind a bush."

You stand still like a deer in headlights

So he did see that then

And you can't help yourself as you crack up in laughter to get rid of this awkward feeling

But you're hardcore yelling in your brain

That lil NANA likes you

And you feel so on top of the world you don't care about anything else as you put both of your hands on his cheeks and lean in

Kissing his soft pink lips and feeling the way he freezes before snaking his arms around you

bringing you closer so that your body molds into his

"Hey did you guys- OHMYGOD. YALL THEYRE KISSING THEYRE KISSINGGGGGG!!!!!!!!"

Is what you hear and immediately you pull yourself out of Jaemin's grip and turn around to see

All of the dreamies staring at you with their phones out
