Yet another plural ask game! 🐾
Anti-endo/anti-nontraumagenic please DNI!
You absolutely don’t have to answer any you’re uncomfortable with.
Do you have an innerworld? What’s it like?
Do you have a paracosm? Is it different from the innerworld (if applicable)?
How many headmates do you have/are you aware of including yourself? You don’t have to count anyone who doesn’t want to be counted.
Have you ever created a headmate before?
Have you ever introjected someone on purpose (possibly through soulbonding or other methods)?
Are you mixed-origin or do all of your headmates come from a single origin?
Do you prefer “-genic” terms, or Emmengard’s terms (Unknown, Adaptive, Spontaneous, Created, Mixed)?
Do you have any introjects? How many?
If you have any introjects, how many are from the same source?
Which source has the most introjects?
Are any of you alterhuman? (Otherkin, therian, nonhuman fictionkin, extranth, etc)
Do you have any animal headmates (non-anthro and non-alterhuman, for example just a regular cat)? Do they front?
Are you “out” as plural to anyone you know in person?
Do you know any other plurals in person?
For anyone with exomemories: were you plural back then, too?
What’s the most common favorite color in the collective?
What’s the most unique aesthetic in the collective?
Do any of you have a “dark” aesthetic but are actually a huge sweetheart?
Who is the most calm, and who is the most wild?
Asker gets to ask anything they want!

Radinclusys Flag Update!
We decided to include the Plural Rings symbol on our Radinclusys flag now! The symbol is optional, of course, so anyone may continue to use the "old" (but not obsolete) flag.
We also created a new "simplified" version of the Radinclusys flag, with and without the symbol.
Radinclusys -- Rad- from "radical," -inclu- from "inclusive," and -sys from "system." To be Radinclusys is to be radically inclusive of all system origins, functions, and types; bar-none.

Figuring out if you have either DID or OSDD-1 can be pretty tricky. Our brains hide our amnesia from us, too, so we can easily just not know we’re experiencing it.
Symptoms of CDDs can be really hard to track due to the nature of CDDs themselves, so this can make it hard to tell whether you have OSDD-1 or DID. We say: don’t sweat it. Your symptoms cause you distress, so you know you’re disordered, and the difference between the two disorders can be very arbitrary depending on who gives you the diagnosis and which text they use.
Do you experience distress due to your CDD? Do you experience being “more than one?” Then you’re absolutely a disordered system, and the distinction between DID and OSDD-1 doesn’t really matter in the long run.

Sorry if this is a bother or anything, but as a person with alters I thought maybe I should point this out?
"Multiple Personalities" is a very outdated term for DID and OSDD-1 systems. I'm sure there are some systems not bothered by the phrasing, but to me it seems to detract from the validity of alters as individuals.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Of course I don't think you actually meant harm by it or anything! I've just seen it a couple times and figured I'd ask after it. It's probably not even a huge deal, just a bit uncomfortable for me personally.
I actually really enjoy Oncunan and think systems need more representation that isn't damaging or stigmatizing. I can't wait to learn more about his system and alters, if you ever explore that in your work!
Hi, so I am aware of the newer term DID and the OSDD-1 system. There is actually a reason I avoided using the terminology. For one, Ocunan is not human and this is a very human labeling system. The nature of both DID and OSDD-1 label's the condition as a disorder. Disorders imply that it's not normal, bad, unintended, or a problem that one needs to cope with. This, in Ocunans case, is not the case. The personalities are quite intentional, they serve a very specific purpose and overall function differently than someone who actually has DID or is on the OSDD-1 system. I really should have mentioned this before and I agree that "Multiple Personalities" is a very dated term and I would greatly appreciate if someone could inform me of the proper term for it that doesn't imply (or even use) the word disorder. (You may have noticed that whenever I mentioned multiple personalities, I never said disorder)
Thanks for asking, I've been meaning to explain my thoughts on this but this was the first real opportunity and you're right, I don't mean any harm in it. If it really would make you more comfortable I can loosely use DID or the OSDD-1 to explain Ocunans mental condition in terms of humans.
Example: "Ocunan has a condition comparable to DID in humans."
I didn't mean to offend anyone or misrepresent anyone and I'm sorry if I have.

Hi, we’re The Quinary System. We’re a DID system with 5 alters.
We’re long-time lurkers and anon-senders in the DID community, but this is our first DID-focused blog.
Here’s our pinned post, which has more info about us on a carrd, plus our DNI at the bottom of the post.
We look forward to talking to others with OSDDID, as well.

Hello, we’re The Pentad. We’re a DID system of 5 alters.
We’ve been lurking in the DID tags for about a year without posting anything, but decided to make our own system blog.
We’ve known about our system for about a decade but we have never really posted about it before. In fact, this blog is where we came up with the name for our system.
We don’t support “endogenic” systems because all systems are formed from trauma. We thought everyone knew this? That said, please don’t interact with us if you’re endogenic; we will block you, same with tulpas.
We’re happy to be here!

This is the YouTube playlist we've put together so far of everything we've watched regarding systems. This playlist is not complete and may never be considered complete, but I'd like to think that there's plenty of information here for both singlets and those who suspect they might be in a system/are systems.
We hope this playlist proves helpful! If you can, please subscribe to the creators of these videos, by the way, they deserve as much support as possible.

I’m gonna un-fakeclaim y’all real quick.
You’re a real system. You’re the realest system. Look at all your symptoms. You’re clearly a system. Think about your alters. Yep, everything about your alters, you’re def a system. Your system is full of variety? Yep, you’re real. Your system has little/no variety? You’re real. Omg, there’s no way you think you’re faking. You’re so real.
No no, imma stop you right there, because I know what you’re gonna say. “Oh but this and this and this-!” That doesn’t matter. You’re real. You’re a real and valid system.
Anyways imma head to bed now, goodnight all you very real systems!

shout out to all the systems that formed from “unusual” trauma or trauma that's never talked about in this community - being bullied, sibling abuse or abuse from someone that's not your parent, near death experience(s), medical abuse, and anything and everything else
you're all valid. the child's brain is incredibly fragile and everyone is traumatized differently. just because your trauma wasn't from a parent, doesn't make you any less valid.
i wish more people spoke about the other sources of trauma

because i've seen a handful of misconceptions lately:
not every alter needs to split from trauma. after the initial split from anywhere ages 0-9* from overwhelming, ongoing trauma(s) to a child, they can split for whatever the brain feels is necessary, and with a highly traumatized brain, it's definition of "necessary" might not always make sense! this can be anywhere from a trauma holder for a specific event, to an alter that's just there to play video games.
i know everyone says it but i still see it around: you do not need to remember your trauma to be a system. that is why your brain split in the first place; so you can carry on with day to day life without processing what you went through every second of the day. "but what if i dont remember anything?" this is exactly what im referring to, that means the disorder is doing what its technically supposed to. (i say technically because of course, amnesia is never as clear cut as its made out to be.)
on that topic, dissociative amnesia can look like, literally, a million different things and you don't need to have full blackouts in order to have "enough" amnesia. certain alters might remember certain things better, or forget things easier. you might not realize you even forgot something in the first place until you try to remember it. you might seemingly have very little amnesia at first until you try to remember the plot of the show you watched the other day, what you seemingly wanted to work on a few hours ago or why you even wanted to do that thing in the first place, or how close you are with someone. *"hold on, 0-9? every resource says ages 6-9!" it is theorized that the brain finishes integration of the self from ages 6-9. this means that if you experience any sort of long term trauma before age 9, your brain might not have finished integrating, or integrated partially.
