I do find it a little ironic that endos say they remember their trauma then when you ask if they'd like to share they get upset, or when you ask to meet an alter. I asked to meet one and the person blocked me
Never EVER ask someone for their trauma AT ALL. I do not care if they’re an endo or not, that is wrong on so many levels. They do not owe it to you and it doesn’t need to be shared. It is personal. You don’t need to know everything about a person.
You do not even ask systems to meet an alter, that isn’t how it works and accept the person who is in front for being there.
You cannot have behavior like this anywhere. At all.
Do not ask for trauma to be explained or talked about, do not ask to meet an alter. AT ALL.
Do not behave like this to anyone.
It is wrong to even endos, it is wrong to people that have trauma. You DO NOT have this behavior to people.

Hey - I wanna be clear and say this is a 100 percent genuine question but we have always heard in the past that an alter calling themself transfem in an AFAB body or calling themself transmasc in an AMAB body, is not okay. But we saw on this blog someone mentioned that and we would like to get a viewpoint/explanation I guess, from you, why is this not a bad thing? /genq
I REALLY hope this doesn't come across as rude at all, if you feel not up to answering then that's perfectly okay, I'd just like to hear what you have to say because we have never heard this side of the argument
-🔥🧷 (if we could reserve this tag then that'd be really nice but no pressure ofc)
Well I think our first belief is that transfem ≠ tranwoman, like they could easily be a feminine non-binary person or demi-girl and count as transfem, that means they're trans (same for transmasc). Second, we just don't really care how people call themselves, being trans is not limited to suffering and it never should be, as long as they aren't hurting anyone (which they're not) then we believe they can call themselves whatever
Also yes, you can have that tag, and don't worry anon, it's doesn't come off as rude to me ^_^

Absent alter
A term for an alter that rarely if ever fronts. This could be by choice or just because the alter cannot front / isn't needed in front too often / at all.
((term made by us. Flag made by us.))

I love how botw / totk and wind waker both use cell shading, it's so cool and it shows how versatile it can be. Wind waker is more cartoony with less details and bigger areas of a single color for the shading, but in botw / totk it's a lot more detailed. You can really see it in link's hair (left), it's just so interesting to me i love it sm :3
I also love how in ww they put Link's facial features over his hair, ww link is the most expressive one we've gotten so far and it really makes it more noticeable and charming
I love loz :3

abt discussion "is functional multiplicity a way of being non-disordered system?" if no one minds, am gonna add my opinion too.
functional multiplicity isn't non-disordered way of being system. it's like remission / recovery.
when you have some chronic condition, you can manage it and feel fine. you can show fewer symptoms or don't show them at all. but you still have this condition.
if you are on meds for arthritis and don't have active inflammation now, you still have arthritis. you may still have some impairment of damage that was already made. it may flare up. your meds may stop working or start working worse. and your symptoms will return.
also, if nothing of above happens, your life, needs, and experience are not the same as life, needs, and experience of people without arthritis. you need your meds to feel good. you need to go to appointments. you need to be careful with some things. you have different risks and so on.
and also. you have experience. you know how it feels. you know what it is. your life was changed by having arthritis, and you don't lose this experience when your symptoms leave.
so same with osddid. if you reached functional multiplicity. you still have some symptoms (having alters is a symptom). you still may split more alters, get more amnesia, get more other dissociative symptoms. and you still have experience. very personal-forming experience, don't know how to word it better. your brain doesn't work like singlets brains. your alters (in functional multiplicity case) aren't like singlets parts of personality. you can't close this door and unteach your brain to dissociate, split, create amnesia barriers. you also can't erase trauma from your brain development. (early life trauma makes HUGE influence on brain development, and even not only brain but the rest of the body too).
osddid is a super complex experience. it's early trauma. it's very specific experience of not being singlet, of not having singlets personality. it's alters (if we talk abt systems). it's amnesia (not always). it's dissociative symptoms. it's cptsd. and more and more and more.
it's super complex, super influencing. endos often see osddid like "cool dudes in your head and nothing more", and it's offensive exactly because of these reasons. because osddid is WAY more. and functional multiplicity is not "cool dudes in your head and nothing more" too. it's sad, but there's no such thing as "cool dudes in your head and nothing more".
that's why people don't lose osddid diagnosis when reach functional multiplicity.
sorry for being long, boring, and complicated.
nod, nod. That's what I thought, I'm glad to have others agree. Even once you've healed and reached functional multiplicity you still have alters, which are a symptom, and probably a few other symptoms too, which means you have the disorder. Even with final fusion, you're still disordered because your brain can always split again, since splitting is a coping mechanism that cannot be unlearned

Internalizer
[pt: internalizer. end pt]
requested by no one
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
An internalizer is a headmate who holds negative internalized feelings. These feelings are often internalized ableism, homophobia, transphobia, but they are not limited to just that. These headmates will often be pessimistic because of this role.
This internalized feelings are the result of abuse and/or conditioning done to hate these specific groups of people.
This role doesn't excuse shitty behavior or any intentional hate towards this groups.

this term was created by an anti endo, and would prefer that NON-traumagenic systems and their supporters do not interact or use this term.

to the "all endo neutrals are actually pro endo" anon - i used to say we're endo neutral bcuz i didn't want to get us booted out of some spaces for not feeding into their delusions. and to be a little silly rat that can get some giggles from their idiocy
we're more open on the topic now, firmly answering the question "what do you think about endos" with "they don't exist", but when not asked (and there's usually no need to) we won't say it. cuz honestly, in some spaces it's easier to ghost them until asked rather than actively fight them.
also, once saw an opposite take from someone claiming to be an endogenic system, saying "endo neutral equals anti endo" and compared it to being neutral to transgenderism and other lgbt+ stuff. to me it's funny as shit that they're still asking for pity and insist their tomfuckery should be taken seriously. repeat after me, multiplicity is a disorder, not an identity.

That’s a lot of fair points!
I don’t entirely know what to say to all of this because, again, good points and you’ve covered things that are amazingly said! :D

I, as a common introject, thank you so much for not boiling us down to 'doubles'. I really appreciate it. We are never our sources and acting like we are is so harmful. Thanks for making this a fully safe space.
No problem! We have a few introjects that really don't like being referred to as doubles of people, so we kinda get it! It's really harmful to act like someone is their source, whether their source is problematic or not! I also believe that the whole doubles thing just isn't true, because like, everyone processes sources different ways, so even if the introject was "exactly" like source they wouldn't be the same as an introject from a different system who was also "exactly" like source because they'd probably interpret the source differently! If that makes sense?
But yeah! We want this to be a safe space for everyone no matter what!

as a little i hate how infantilized we inherently are. like being a 'little' is sm more of a spectrum than just 'i am mentally regressed always and literally 5' and i feel like a lotta people think we can't stand up for ourselves or do anything (which is sometimes true, sure) but it makes me so mad bc i feel like i have to choose which part of myself i want to acknowledge because if not i am seen as weird by others :/
nod, nod. We don't like when people assume all littles are immature and incapable of acting older. Like yes, they're 6, but they've also experienced more than an actual 6 year old would have, they've been around for longer and have gone through more years of life (e.g, a 6 year old in an 18 year old system is likely to have experienced 10+ years of life than an actual 6 year old)
some littles are genuinely kids, yes, but not all littles are and it's important to keep that in mind. And anon, you aren't weird and it sucks that people see you that way or that you feel you have to chose between different parts of yourself. I hope you manage to find a safe space where you can just be you without having to hide or pretend to be someone else
