Raised in a religious yet wealthy household, Jedidiah Abraham Adonias Martin--also known as "Jed", "Jeddie", "The archivist", "The clockmaker", or various misspellings and mispronunciations of his name--refuses to label his sexuality, but BOY does he like men (looking at Mr Sargent for this one), and also has ADHD! He may have dropped out of medical school and is "too repressed to write poetry", but he's still one of the camp nurses, alongside Sydney October Sargent! After talking to a bunch of birds, we found out that Jedididididiah will die on a Thursday (not a spoiler as of writing this). It has also been confirmed that he has a photo of Sydney on his desk (aww) and he plays D&D. Oh, and he's terrified of all things shelled. Ballister Boldheart-Nimona (Film)

Qualifications:

He has a boyfriend (and then they have a sort-of-breakup but they're back together by the end) and he has a prosthetic arm.

He’s gay and missing an arm.

He’s explicitly gay, in love with a man. He loses his arm then builds himself a prosthetic while on the run like a badass.

His boyfriend cut his arm off :( he uses a prosthetic now. His arm got chopped off after being falsely accused of killing the queen, he spends the rest of the movie with a prosthetic metal arm. His arm was also chopped off by his lover, Ambrosius Goldenloin, during said false assassination.

Canonically has a boyfriend and built his own prosthetic

He’s so GOOD even though he’s having like the worst day ever (specifically talking about movie but webcomic also applies). He has the biggest wettest eyes how can you not root for him????

Let's see. He and Ambrosius are lovers, or at least boyfriends, from the moment they're introduced. Ballister gets his arm chopped off by Ambrosius during the false assassination. Ballister spends the rest of the movie trying to convince Ambrosius and the kingdom of his innocence, with a metal arm replacing his missing one. It originated the phrase "Arm Chopping is not a love language!" Did I mention he's a main character too?

A knight, Nimona's best friend and father figure of sorts, but the plot mostly revolves around him- Ballister is framed for murder and has to hide while trying to figure out who framed him and how to prove he's innocent. Nimona becomes his sidekick (he didn't want one, she just showed up at his place one day like a very chaotic stray cat) and together they form a great duo against the corrupt government. This is complicated by Ballister's ex Ambrosius, who accidentally cut off Ballister's arm and is a bit brainwashed by government propaganda. Oops. You should watch Nimona it's great 💞🦈

Things about my Rageon Ocs

Aven

He’s a dude (of course a lot of you already knew that)

He’s gay and proud of it

This has been sitting my mind forever since I made him and I’ve wanted to say- Aven is trans 🏳️‍⚧️

He was originally gonna be a girl, until I found out that Veneer is gay codded and might as well be gay from all the fottage I’ve seen

And was gonna settle on his gender when I saw the movie but of course I settled with it months ago

So it’s pretty ironic that Aven was gonna be a girl but now is a boy so he really went threw a transition 😂

His hair and clothing design was based off of Britney Spears

Cause I imagined him singing some of her songs and some of Britney Spears’ songs are close to the 90s

He has an older brother which I will show him some other time

Said older brother is in the hospital cause of sickness (put that in for angst)

Also his older brother is/was apart of a boy band

Aven wears his black jacket cause it shows how he’s pretty depressed and dosn’t wanna stick himself out there

Pretty obsessed when it comes to Veneer before they really met

Has photos of him that he would sometimes kiss (Which freaks out Shallow)

The reason he fell in love with him in the first place cause he was pretty depressed and sad when his brother got put into the hospital

So Shallow being the bestie that she is brought him to a concert that of which is when Velvet and Veneer are preforming

Shallow got them to the front by “politely” shoving people

Aven actually enjoyed the show and it brought a slight smile to his face

Then the most unexpected thing happened

Veneer got a rose from backstage and was gonna do a boyband cliche and give it to someone upfront

And that someone was Aven, when he gave him the rose he was taken aback and when they made eye contact it felt they were the only ones there

He became absolutely smitten and a little obsessed

And poor Shallow has to hear his non stop rants

liyue headcanons (favourite charas)

beidou: she/they, lesbian

ningguang: she/her, lesbian

xingqiu: he/him, gnc, trans, gay

chongyun: he/they, demiboy, gay

zhongli: he/she, agender, aroace

hu tao: she/her (doesn't mind other pronouns though), gnc, aroflux/lesbian

yanfei: she/her, lesbian/aceflux

yun jin: she/they, trans, lesbian

(god damn why is everyone lesbian LMAO)

romantic hc's (not repeating the xiao ones)

beigguang: beidou annoyed ningguang so much that for a while they were actually borderline enemies, beidou always on the run from the law (and ningguang). ningguang was impressed by beidou's resourcefulness in avoiding her, so she invited her to meet (on beidou's terms). they managed to find some things in common, and they gradually held more and more of these secret meetings until one day beidou trusted ningguang enough to go to the jade chamber. that is how they became close friends; eventually, ningguang realises she's catching feelings and tries to suppress them. unfortunately for her, that's not how feelings work (I see you, miles edgeworth), so eventually she caves and admits to herself that she's fallen. cue the mutual pining, until beidou finally decides to confess. they have some rocky bumps in their relationship, but they're both mature enough to work them through, and soon their relationship is strong enough to where they get married

xingyun (what happened to the spacing lol): classic idiot teens pining story; xingqiu realised his feelings first but chongyun actually caught them way before him (just didn't know what they were). chongyun was always flustered at xingqiu reading him romance novels, and one day xiangling had a talk with him that made him realise he harboured romantic feelings for xingqiu. contrary to popular belief, chongyun actually (impulsively) asked xingqiu out almost immediately after (like, two days later); they were a bit awkward at first but now they're super comfortable with each other. they're not actually super open about their relationship; most people see them as great friends. hu tao was actually surprised when xingqiu told her that he and chongyun were dating

yantao: oh boy. this one's wild, so buckle up. hu tao, like everyone else in liyue, heard of a young prodigial lawyer (rumoured to be of adeptus descent) and wanted to see how far she could push the law to annoy them. initially, she just wanted to prank yanfei; she'd do little things regularly that weren't quite illegal nor legal. one day, yanfei caught her in the act; hu tao was so stunned by her appearance (in a good way) that she could hardly defend herself when yanfei started to question her. exasperated, yanfei left her to [gay panic and perish] her own devices (she had better things to do, though hu tao would argue otherwise). hu tao now had a new goal in mind with her pranks: get yanfei's attention. what a hypocrite, calling xingqiu a simp... anyway, she did succeed in catching yanfei's attention (again) by almost going to jail! yanfei covers her defence, and they part ways (again). at this point zhongli is tired of hearing hu tao go on and on about the "hot lawyer" and "magical angel" who saved her, so he sets up a meeting for them at xiangling's restaurant. poor girl has to watch them dance around each other for fifteen minutes until they finally suck it up and sit down. yanfei is still on the fence about how she feels towards this chaotic person, especially since she's always been hyper-aware of her long lifespan when it comes to relationships (of all kinds). they chat about small things, and hu tao leaves. zhongli continues setting them up for a while until yanfei finally opens up and becomes friends with hu tao; after that, he stops getting involved. xiangling is very relieved. yanfei denies her feelings for two years until hu tao can't take it anymore (she may be dense but she's not totally oblivious) and confesses down by yujing terrace. they're both rather shy in their relationship at first, but soon they become an insufferable duo that love destroying scammers with logic and sheer annoying-ness. yanfei and hu tao have many heart-to-hearts, especially about mortality and yanfei most likely outliving hu tao. yanfei remarks that it's a bittersweet irony; hu tao says it makes their time together all the more precious. yanfei still struggles a lot with these thoughts (she has been for her whole life), and hu tao finally manages to convince her to see a therapist. together, they are working through this; as their trust develops, yanfei gets more comfortable being close with hu tao

platonic hc's (jesus the format is going wild)

zhongli and hu tao: hu tao sees zhongli as a sort of father figure, which zhongli jokes is ironic because he's her employee. hu tao says that it's "nepotism at its finest"

yun jin and xinyan: they respect each other a lot, and have become really great friends after sharing music-related ideas/tips and such

xiangling, chongyun, and xingqiu: the og besties. zhongli remarks that he's never quite seen a friendship as close as theirs

xingqiu and hu tao: the mischievous besties. if something's amiss, it's probably liyue's (least) favourite prankster duo

yanfei and yun jin: (hear me out) much like yantao, yanfei and yun jin became friends after yanfei helped yun jin out with some close calls in the law. though, this time it wasn't actually yun jin doing things on purpose (unlike hu tao, smh /lh)

zhongli and venti: close friends; when venti first became an archon, he looked up to zhongli for support and guidance. zhongli saw him as an annoying child at first, but after rescuing xiao he realised he needed to be more mature to guide them both. when venti admitted to liking xiao, zhongli felt like a teacher who sits the lovebirds apart in class; for a while he was unconvinced that venti was fit to be xiao's partner, and kept them away from each other as much as possible. unfortunately for him, these preventive measures did nothing and xiao's heart still got broken when venti hibernated. zhongli didn't forgive venti for that for a while, until venti eventually did right by him and proved that he had changed. their friendship has changed a bit since then, since both archons have seen the worst sides of each other; they're still very close friends, however. zhongli has formally given venti his blessing to be xiao's partner

zhongli and xiao: xiao idolises zhongli. a lot. venti has helped him realise this is unhealthy, and he's working to tone down that mindset. xiao will forever be grateful and feel indebted to zhongli, however. zhongli sees him almost like a son, and regularly checks in with him. xiao is still upset that zhongli stepped down as an archon, but he says that his contract is still to liyue and its people. looking back now, xiao finds it comedic how zhongli was always like an overprotective father whenevr he brought venti and/or aether home. xiao is grateful that zhongli has helped him open up more; though he still has trouble trusting others, xiao finds that it's easier for him to give others the benefit of the doubt. zhongli, in turn, is incredibly proud of his son's progress, and has also learned mucn of trust from him

zhongli and aether: though they're not particularly close, aether eventually came to ask zhongli for his blessing to date xiao. zhongli still wonders why so many people are interested in his son; however, he has only ever deemed aether and venti worthy

hu tao and xiao: tentative friends who became close as siblings after they bonded over their shared experiences in losing family (and their dark humour). hu tao constantly teased xiao when he was pining for aether and venti; when they got together, she shouted "FINALLY." xiao says she's a hypocrite because he had to listen to her simp for yanfei for "three fucking years, ZHONGLI! THREE. YEARS."

ganyu and xiao: bonded over being adepti. ganyu sees xiao as a little brother, and protects him accoedingly. she found venti's energy "charming," and thought aether was "an adorable ball of sunshine." ganyu always found xiao's simping amusing, and is always very enthusiastic to send xiao funny postcards teasing him about his partners.

ganyu and keqing: ganyu mentors keqing in a lot of things; they're very good friends. keqing would never admit it, but ganyu is her role model in life (along with ningguang)

ganyu and yanfei: again, bonded over both being adepti (or of adeptus descent). ganyu taught yanfei much of what she knows about adepti im general

yelan and shenhe: tentative friends. they still don't know if they can trust each other (each senses that the other is a bit sneaky and crafty), but the groundwork is being laid for a legendary duo

20. Have your ocs helped you in self discovery? How?

lets start off with 20 because its defintely the funniest lmaoooo

my main character sam is transmasc (a trans boy) and my tertiary protag is a lesbian (aubry) and she discovers this as the story goes out and let me to tell you there is nothing more hilarious than 1. writing and thinking extensively about how your character is a lesbian and pouring so much into that while being in total denial about yourself and 2. discovering even more about your own inwards trans feelings by giving your transmasc oc 90% of your personality and also through metaphor and symbolism by making a lot of the story a trans analogy. but wait, the character i see the most of myself in, sam, is transmasc but aubry, the second character i see so much of myself in, is a lesbian so how can these seemingly contradictory things be true simultaneously you ask? well it turns out that im a transmasc lesbian. who couldve saw that coming, right? (me. i saw this coming). still the funniest fucking thing about me like "yeah go ahead and tell yourself a story and accidently awaken something in yourself, this will be so funny and cool" and honestly it is so cool! one of the most writing things ive ever done

10. Does your oc celebrate Pride? How?

yes they do! sam has been to a local pride parade/event at some point with his parents (who are bi4bi). he also has a trans flag hanging up in his room that dual functions as a symbol of pride and also a window curtain that turns his room pink and blue at certain times of the day (its intentional). chelsie celebrates pride as well, mostly through self expression like with her clothing and style but she loves pride events too and collecting little pride themed objects that end up in random places. i feel like chelsie's way of celebrating pride is chaotic and spontaneous which suits her. both of them have pride themed bracelets and backpack pins, you know the baby queer stuff i love (i still love the baby queer stuff idc) and sam has trans, bi and rainbow themed tie dye shirts he made and loves to wear. aubry has never seen any pride flag or been to an event and she didnt even know gay people existed as well people and not the boogyman or theoretical person she heard about in church until she realized she was gay and met other queer people (and she literally has two dads LOL). but once she does she cant get enough of rainbows and the lesbian flag which in the alternate universe world where shes from no one knows its meant to symbolize queerness. so she gets to walk around with flags and colors that no one recognizes except her and her family. its hilarious, its her own "no one knows im a lesbian" pin. they just think shes from a different country or something (where all the pretty girls are from). sam and chelsie gifted her a lesbian flag through their mail system once she returned home and she cherishes it. mostly, i'd say my characters celebrate pride through living, being who they want to be and uplifting each other amd they love their glitter, music, make up, tie dye shirts, flags and rainbows too

16. Did you ever change an oc's identity when they were already established? Why?

my character's queer identities have been pretty solid since inception and through their development, its one of the things that have changed the least about them. sam used to be some flavor of trans/nonbinary but there are other nonbinary characters in my story now and sam ids with transmasc the most instead of nonbinary. chelsie has always been transfem as far as i can remember although i mightve imagined her cis one single time and then said "nah im gonna trans your gender no way in hell youre cis" when i didnt feel connected to her characterization [transgenderfication beam]. and aubry has remained gay as hell even as she started off as a completely different person that split into two then i used one half of the personality, refurbished it by gave it some religious trauma, pining and autism to create modern aubry then used the other half for something else. everyone else's personalities have started at the surface level idea of who i think they are and deepened and complexified from there and thats even more intricate than i could describe in one sitting and not always specifically about their queer identity

oh i almost forgot! one character (benjamin, aubry's father) has a bi panic awakening after he went through life identifying as gay and instead of a guy being the source of the panic it was aubry's mother (valid, i'd panic if i saw her too). his character started off as gay but aubry didn't hatch from a magic egg or grow from a pumpkin in a patch or fall to earth like a shooting start (amos's many joke versions of the birds and bees, amos is married to benjamin and is her dad #2) so i needed an explanation for that. he also discovers he's polyamorous in the process so good for him! other characters have become noticeably less cis over time but were already kinda gender weird to begin with if i squinted hard enough. like are you really cis if im writing you? be fr

at what age did klaus turn gay?

Well, first of all, we have no confirmation that he is gay as opposed to some degree of bi. We know he mostly talks about sleeping with guys, but he has also slept with Jill, so he's either gay-with-the-rare-exception, or bi/pan. The line between the two is entirely subjective. I had a friend who identified as a 5 on the Kinsey scale, same as me, but she called herself bi and I called myself gay. Where I'm concerned, it's not totally unheard of for me to be attracted to a man, but it's not a reasonable expectation to have of me. There have been like. One or two men in my entire life who I can say I've been attracted to. So I call myself gay because calling myself bi would give people the wrong expectations. Regarding Klaus, I personally kind of think he doesn't give much of a shit about labels. He's too chaotic to be put in boxes.

Second of all, nobody turns gay. It's not a thing where you're born heterosexual by default, then something goes sideways in puberty. Before puberty, I had crushes on boys and girls both, but that was a time when there wasn't much physical distinction between boys and girls. It took puberty for me to realize something was different because I wasn't boy-crazy like my friends. There was now a difference between boys and girls, and it turned out, I was only attracted to one of those. I'd been gay all along, I just wasn't able to tell until boys became, you know, boy-like. And even then, I spent a good twenty years trying very hard to be straight and badly failing.

tl;dr Klaus did not turn gay/bi/pan. Viktor didn't turn trans, either. It's just part of who they've always been. They can't get out of it. They can't negotiate with it. All they could ever do was come to terms with it. And it sucks, until it doesn't.

I love them. I love this show, it's like The Owl House but Lego which basically makes Lego Eda canon.

Okay, here's my opinions. I'll only say the major characters.

Mk = Baby boy, really self aware that he has issues but hasn't gone to therapy but for the love of god get therapy, abandonment issues. Pure of Heart, Dumb of Ass. He gives off Demiboy and Gay vibes.

Mei = She's so chaotic I love her. Also needs therapy. Will kill without hesitation and I love that. I really thought she and Mk are related but turns out they aren't? She gives off Demigirl and Lesbian vibes.

Pigsy = Mk's dad. So grumpy but he really loves his family. So protective, I stan. The moment I saw him the first thing I thought is; He's Bi.

Sandy = Himbo. Baby but Adult. Hides his trauma through kindness. He gives off AroAce vibes, but I respect people who ship him with the spider from his flower episode.

Tang = I was so sure that this guy was the bio dad of Mk and Mei, but they're not??? He's still a dad though, goofy and always hungry. His infodumping and fangirling over artifacts reminds me of some people in the Amphibia fandom. The moment I saw him how he acts towards the Spider Queen on her debut, I knew that this man is Gay.

Sun Wukong = Mk's dead beat dad. At least he tries to be a dad but sir stop fueling your son's abandonment issues. Trans and Pan.

Macaque = I was so sure that he and Wukong are biologically brothers but everyone says they're not??? I was so confused when I saw shipping art and fics of them. The cool and bastard uncle. He's like Louie from Ducktales but he has more issues. Pretty sure he's a dad now but so busy so he asks Pigsy to care of the child for him and makes sure he visits. Nb and DemiAce

Red Son = Chaotic Zuko. Major Daddy issues. If he ever dates Mk, he and Mei would annoy each other a lot. Trans, cause no sane person would ever name their son; Red Son. He's also Gay.

DBK and Princess Iron Fan = The only straight people in this series. They're suprisingly wholesome with each other and their son. Iron Fan has witnessed Red's transitioning and supports it while DBK didn't and is so confused but at least tries.

Spider Queen = First thing I thought is that she's a Lesbian. At least she has standards when it comes to villainy. I'm not really sure if she and her henchmen are still alive.

Jin and Yin = Love their dumbasses but I will never forgive them for making Mk and Mei straight in their debut episode. Pretty sure they don't care about gender and romance.

Ne Zha = Petal boy. He's so serious, sir take a break. I think he's Aro? I don't know, he gives off the vibes.

Bai He = Apperantly, this is the LBD's host's name. Good god, she's younger than I thought, I thought she's the same age as Mk. She needs so much therapy and hugs. And Also Macaque being her dad. I want to say that she's questioning her gender and sexuality since she's a kid and all.

Lady Bone Demon = Means well but wrong way to do it. Every time I see her I keep thinking; Mk's mom, and I hate it. Bisexual.

-faramir does haircuts for people who can't go to hair salons, free of charge

-all of them run on caffeine, all the workers at their favorite cafe know them by name and know their orders by heart

-the Chaos Cousin's ™ skateboard and tried to teach frodo but he ended up in the hospital with a broken foot and wrist. never again.

-legolas, aragorn, and boromir are the only ones who can drive so they take everyone everywhere

Okay, so I've been watching a lot of kdramas (or by extent Asian dramas) since March 2020, and there were a lot of characters who were so queer coded (or just had a fruityness to them)?? Anyway, so here's a list

But let's start with some canonically queer characters in mainstream dramas, shall we?

Park Mae Yi (Run On) - is ace and talks about her asexuality early on in the show

Go Ye Joon (Run On) - is gay and outs himself in the end, has a talk with another character about the discrimination and struggles of being gay

Ma Hyun Yi (Itaewon Class) - is mtf transgender, and while her being a cook is her main story arc, her confidence and pride of being trans is important too

Hikari Kuina (Alice in Borderland) - is mtf transgender and an absolute badass fighter as she grew up learning martial arts

Jung Seo Hyun (Mine) - is lesbian and (like every woman in this drama) an incredible independant badass

Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on to the actual queer-coding:

Seo Moon Jo (Strangers from Hell) - okay, he may be a psychopath and a serial killer BUT he calls Jongwoo 'babe' every chance he gets, and immediately threw his strategies out the window for him, so I declare him gay

Seo In Woo (Psychopath Diary) - again, similar to Moon Jo, the homoerotic tension of obsessive love is STRONG, and in his case, In Woo and Dong Sik are even mistaken as a couple at some point, he's definitely gay

Oh Mi Joo (Run On) - she just gives me bisexual wife energy, especially when you consider her chemistry with Dan Ah

Jang Bong Hwan / Queen So Young (Mr. Queen) - considering their souls are trapped in the same body, and Bong Hwan actually falls in love with the king at some point, they definitely fall into the genderfluid and queer spectrum

Han Se Ju (Chicago Typewriter) - like with Mi Joo, I have no actual reasoning other than vibes, and Se Ju just gives me incredible chaotic bisexual vibes, also his character is basically in a polyamorous relationship that's disguised with some bromance

Jang Man Weol (Hotel Del Luna) - okay, you cannot tell me that somebody who has been alive for 1300 years and is as flirty and cheeky as Man Weol is straight, she definitely falls on the mspec spectrum as well

So Mun (The Uncanny Counter) - again, this is based off vibes, but So Mun feels like a closeted bisexual kid (and boy am I speaking from experience here lmao)

Lee Yeon (Tale of the Nine Tailed) - this man is not only an ancient god, but a fruity god at that. One, he has that bromance chemistry with his best friend, second his true love is kind of split into a male and a female soul if I remember correctly?? that's kinda queer

Wen Kexing and Zhou Zishou (Word of Honor) - I'm putting them together because they're technically canon in the source material, but their chemistry in the drama is still off the charts

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji (The Untamed) - again, they're gay in the novel but are demoted to "platonic soulmates" in the drama

Wen Qing (The Untamed) - my queen and her (not subtle) hatred for men flirting with her~ she gives me lesbian vibes and you cannot change my mind

Lu Yao and Qiao Chusheng (My Roommate is a Detective) - I don't know if this has a novel, but considering their immense chemistry, an incident of Yao introducing himself as Chusheng's boyfriend, and their overall vibes, they both give me bisexual vibes

WIP Game

I was tagged by my favourite @theonlywolfpants to participate in this!

Rules: tell us the titles of all the WIPs you are currently working on right now and a little about them. Then tag five other writers.

I won't tag individuals BUT if you're reading this consider yourself tagged - I'd love to see what everyone is working on <3

Current WIPS

Original novel, as yet unnamed: is this allowed? I don't know. But it's the main thing taking up my brain space and probably means other projects (see below) are going to be postponed or shortened so I can make this my focus. I'm trying to keep a lot of it close until it's more finished but basic elements so far: friends to lovers, mutual pining, slow burn, chaotic friendship group, a wedding, dysfunctional biological family, amazing found family, trans MC, autistic love interest. And it's super gay. Of course.

Better Kinds of Love: This was originally going to be a novel-length fic, but I think I'm going to try and get it under 30k. It's Drarry but very Draco focussed, finding himself after divorce and discovering joy and falling for Harry in a very gentle way. Draco will also be nonbinary in this one and I am very keen to write that.

A Pretty Boy Song: An Austen-esque Drarry with lots of Ministry galas, lingering glances, and almost unbearable UST. Expect ultimate power couple Neville/Charlie and some seriously hot Slytherins.

Buried: Cemetery Wolfstar AU - Sirius goes into a cemetery on a dare. He meets a very pretty boy. Softer than you're probably thinking.

Next Winter, We'll Find You: Wolfstarbucks 20s AU. I shared a snippet of this ages ago, and really want to finish this story because 1) I love this triad and 2) mystery! 20s! Jazz bars! Jaunts through various European capitals! It has to happen!!!

Plus...lots of things I unfortunately cannot share BUT I promise are coming. Will I ever sleep again? Who knows. Stay tuned. xxx
