Nico only reads Italian. He reads signs and texts in English, but given the opportunity, everything is in Italian.

Nico forgets this.

Nico reads something he finds hilarious, and shows it to Will, just to find it’s in Italian, and Will will start laughing hysterically and then tell Nico that he’s laughing because of the fact he’s tried to show him like 7 Italian books in 30 minutes.

HEADCANNON!!!

Chronically ill Nico definitely has little sun stickers from the Apollo cabin all over his cane. After every doctors appointment with Will, Nico gets to pick a little sticker and he puts it on his cane.

ANOTHER HEADCANNON!!!

Nico’s cane was made by the Hephaestus cabin, and can be compacted down to look like a sunflower lanyard when he isn’t using it (like Percy’s sword being a pen) and Nico likes to put little skull pin badges on it.
