Confidence comes from putting yourself out there and stepping outside of your comfort zone despite being scared. If you wait for confidence to precede the action, you’ll be waiting for ever. Moving from fear to faith is what is going to carry you through. Realizing that the fears created in your mind are there to protect you and keep you in your comfort zone, is how you change your perspective.

what if instead of being afraid
you got excited? like every time you got that familiar, gut-sinking, what-if-this-doesn't-happen feeling, you boldly reminded yourself it already did happen? and that where you go in imagination you must go in the flesh, too? what if you imagined, in that moment of fear, you were hiking with your best friend, who happens to know and consciously apply the law, too, and instead of dwelling in doubt and worry and stress the two of you walked to the edge of the nearest cliff overlooking the rivers and pines and cumulus clouds and you yelled. together, you yelled, "it already happened! it is already mine!" as loud as you could. and you felt all that energy rise from your gut through your chest through your throat out your mouth into air and as you let it go into air you laughed and hugged and felt the most profound sense of relief and joy and wonder and awe and gratitude because you knew it was enough, to be here on earth with your best friend at all, but you knew, too, this wasn't all. that there really was--there really is--so much good to come. that what you have within your mind's eye and in your heart must express, that it will, in the exact right moment, in the exact right "now," and how wonderful to know, to feel, deep in your bones in your nerves in your muscles in your cells, you already have it now.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
No matter what you're facing today, remember this: God's love surrounds you. He's with you, always.

Good Morning!☀
The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; Deuteronomy 1:30
Many people have found themselves paralysed by fear of a task or challenge that lies ahead of them. Each time they think about it, it gets bigger in their mind's eye, and they feel smaller. Even though God has enabled them to overcome in the past, they are having difficulty believing he will help them now.
The Israelites experienced this when it came time to go into the promised land. After spying out the land, ten of the twelve men sent brought back a negative report to the extent that the people refused to believe God's promise to be with them, despite all he had done for them up to that time. As a result, it was 40 years before they entered the promised land.
Do not let fear cause you to miss your blessing. God is faithful. He is with you and will never leave or forsake you!

Faith in Solace
In the quiet of my hospital bed,
Thoughts swirling 'round my head,
There's no room for fear or dread,
Faith's my companion, where I'm led.
A beacon in my darkest night,
Guiding me when I lack sight,
A whisper of hope, holding tight,
My strength in this unexpected fight.
Unknown paths lie ahead,
Yet, with faith, I determinedly tread,
For it's in my heart, deeply embed,
A promise of dawn, my daily bread.
In this solitude, faith stands tall,
A personal shield against it all,
Answering my heart's silent call,
With faith, I know I won't fall.
Here, in this moment, just me, myself, and I,
Faith's light in my sky,
Guiding me steadily by and by,
With faith, I'll always try.
Here, in this moment, alone with my thoughts to fly,
Faith paints the night with stars, in my soul's sky,
Guiding me through the darkness, with gentle sigh,
In faith’s embrace, I believe, I'll soar high by and by.

When the clouds gather, the rain pours, and the storms of life rage around us, it's easy to feel lost, adrift in a sea of uncertainty. But amidst the chaos, there's a beacon of hope, an anchor that holds us steady – the unwavering grace of God.
This inspirational t-shirt design captures the essence of God's grace, symbolized by a steadfast anchor amidst a turbulent storm. The teal outline adds a touch of tranquility and serenity, reminding us that even in the darkest of times, God's grace shines brightly, illuminating our path and guiding us towards calmer waters.
The words "His Grace Our Anchor" serve as a powerful reminder that we are not alone in our struggles. God's grace is an unfailing source of strength, a lifeline that keeps us grounded when the waves of life threaten to engulf us.
Wear this t-shirt as a symbol of faith and resilience, a testament to the unwavering presence of God's grace in our lives. Let it be a reminder that no matter the storms we face, His grace will always be our anchor, keeping us grounded and secure amidst the turbulence.

Day 06 of Writing Something Everyday
(365 Day Challenge)
Tumblr media
Pending dread....
Is it all in my head?
I feel it coming; this feeling familiar,
Happiness' ugly sister.
Crippling fear that comes from nowhere,
Anticipation of something too big to bear.
Did I do something wrong?
I overthink all day long.
Did I overshare? Did I not say enough?
My brain's a VCR that plays the tape and rewatches it over and over.
Exhaust myself until I'm about to drop,
Then can't sleep at night because my brain won't stop.
Overexaggerating, blowing things out of proportion,
Twisting and turning until thoughts are contorted.
Just want it to stop, God please make it stop,
I feel like I'm drowning, please pull me to the top.
~Jenni
