My homework this week: write 3 current event jokes, a monologue and short sketch for a celebrity guest assigned at random (I got Steven Yeun). The teacher is trying to emulate what writers on SNL typically do, ish.

Oh, and a funny thing about XKK (while still a working-title) is that I had to spell "Chronicles" as "Kronicles," solely because XKC sounds way too much like XKCD, and I've planned on referring to it by acronym until I'm able to dedicate some time to it.

It works though, because misspelling things for no reason and acting like that makes them more Fantasy Genre is something I do all the time in XKK; like, the MC's name itself is a real name with one lazy alteration to it to "make it original"

My homework: write a monologue for a character that you personally can play / deliver.

Mine (“campaign speech”) was based on an inside joke about (male) classmates Running for President of the Small Meat Club, which rapidly got out of hand.

Anyway I have managed to enter a headspace where I regret everything and nothing at the same time.
