clear card headcanon:

Yuna D. Kaito's "Seal of D" was him getting trapped in Clockland and it activated not because he used his remaining strength to work forbidden magicks against the congregation but because the rest of the Clockland cast escaped the pages of the book through his magic instead of finishing the story as intended.

like the number one rule when you use the relic is that when you do the magics to activate yeah., everyone involved (or is in it) must remain inside and fulfill their roles until the end of the story— but since the Clockland book didn't have a proper ending, they have to write what's next as they're within the book's power.

but when Sakura wished that she and Akiho switched roles and created exchange, that's where the clockland plot gets wonky: Sakura creates exchange, Yuna D. Kaito takes it so he can use it, the three (Sakura, Syaoran & Akiho) got out because of the magic that didn't only rewinded time, switch Sakura & Akiho's roles but ALSO rewrote their stories.

in the Clockland plot, it was Alice (Sakura) who gets to decide, but at the end, Yuna D. Kaito took that role and not only he did the decision to continue with the plan, he also kicked the rest of the cast out of the book's universe— in which by the book's rules, was cheating. and since he really doesn't have enough time and power left to save himself, he was left there in the Red Queen's castle... looking at the space where he last saw the 3 who got out of the book ... all that remains was him... and the book's guardian (Momo). In a world where he has to fulfill all of the roles and be trapped there, forever.

Because when the deed is already done, you can never go back.

i got inspired when i remembered that Yuna D. Kaito said that "all the cast remains within the pages of the book" and started asking myself, since they didn't... what would've happened if they did? or why do the cast needed to stay within the pages of the book? I couldn't think of a good answer for my first question but I did have an idea for the 2nd one so i just went with it 🤷🏻‍♀️ this one's kinda inconsistent though so idk if it's good enough or no i really just wanted to put out more akiho and kaito content that i can think offffff

now why am i writing a lot of yunaaki headcanons recently— im posting the 2nd one and now im starting to think of another one like????

Dick: pokemon. the amount of hours he clocked in on his gameboy. he watched the show growing up and still puts it on to unwind sometimes. for sure plays all the games

Clear Card headcanon: Yuna D. Kaito lies about how Akiho doesn't have any hint of magic (she actually does but it's very little and faint) inside her, in hopes that the magic association would leave her alone and let her have a normal life but the congregation still proceeded making her a walking spellbook...

Years later, Akiho and Yuna D. Kaito went back home but with a few surprise guests (Syaosaku) and the 3 of them— also aided by Eriol behind the scenes, fights the members of the association in exchange for YunaAki's freedom while Akiho, being "magicless", just watches.

Devastated at the site of war that's unfolding in front of her eyes, she desperately screamed, begging everyone to stop— unleashing her hidden powers all at once, burning the entire place down except her cherished people.

Turns out that Lilie sensed Akiho's powers when she was born, and in fear of the association going after her daughter when she's gone, she casted a spell concealing all the magic inside her— except that she didn't fully contain it.

notes:

in this headcanon, Lilie doesn't have the powers to see the future yet, she discovers she can do it a few months before she and her husband passes away from the accident.

same things happen with the canon— they travelled around the world together with Momo and her Alice in Clockland book, went to Japan and meeting the Tomoeda peeps... but here's the part that changes— Sakura discovering the truth about Momo and Clockland book after her gut feeling says there's something more to Akiho (and she and Syaoran, with Eriol & Yelan's aid, did some researching), then Sakura confessing to Akiho that she's Alice in Clockland and offers a helping hand to her. Then they formulated a plan to get both Yuna D. Kaito and Akiho free from the congregation's control.

Akiho's powers here was released because of the intense feelings she's experiencing— guilt, anger, sadness, etc. Her emotions amplified her desire to help the people she cherished because she didn't want anyone to suffer.

she/they lesbian who dEFINITELY makes cosplays for conventions.

behind that smiling face lies quite a bit of frustration. she gets it out by sewing a bunch of outfits.

could wear anything and make it look stunning. could wear a trash bag, and make it look like the next big trend.

serena - pokemon

she would probably have a carbink at some point, and it would become one of her strongest team members.

wears the ribbon ash gave her as a hair accessory during some of her performances, and gave her other pokemon ribbon-eske accessories to match!

still keeps in regular contact with clemont and bonnie, while she emails ash every other week, so they don't get out of touch.

despite not doing so anymore, i can imagine her having a rhyhorn on her team, and her going out for rides with it every once and a while, so she can keep her skills (despite her still disliking it)

penny - pokemon

nonbinary or a demigirl, and still in the closet, but has been hinting at it for a while.

has every eeveelution, the other two (espeon and glaceon) are back in galar with her family. occasionally will swap one of them in for another, so she can let all of her pokemon have a chance at battles in paldea.

if she wasnt an eeveelution trainer, i could see her as a fairy or ice type trainer, maybe even both! fairy for the obvious reason of her ace being sylveon, while ice for her cold demeanor, and her outfit sort of looks suitable for the cold.

Touya actually wanted to go to college in order to get a degree and could've graduated high school early if he chose to. But high school offered more time to work at jobs than college, so he decided to stay behind in order to be able to support his family more. After all, what his father made didn't amount to the money they needed to afford bills, even with how much work and love he put into his job. And Sakura couldn't work at the age she was other than odd jobs. But he didn't want to make Sakura have to do such a thing and instead be a child while she still could, so he decided to cover the burden.
