238 to 211! I have a while yet to go, but by taking care of ME I’m learning to love myself for all I am. I like where I am headed, and the woman I am becoming. Healing from undiagnosed celiac disease and its damages has been so hard, but I’m thankful to get my life back, and to get back to being the fun, energetic, happy, fit mom!!

So I originally wanted to wait to post this but I've lost even more since the second photo, so I wanted to show you guys my progress on my fitness journey so far! This is a little over a year, and 40lbs worth of a difference. It's been slow going, but with PCOS and thyroid issues, I'll take what I can get! This is also all from dietary changes alone. I follow an 80/20 approach which means I eat clean 80% of the time and whatever I want the other 20%. I'm not looking for a quick fix. I'm not trying to get a summer body. I want to be healthy for life. Left side: July 2017 (3 months before I started), size 20/22 🤦🏼‍♀️ Right side: New Years Eve 2017, size 14 🙋🏼‍♀️ This is about a 55 pound difference and it feels amazing! Eating clean and fresh with portion control and actually listening to my stomach, and exercise! Doing this while in nursing school is pretty hard but NOT impossible. Meal preparation and having a 24 your access gym are the key ingredients in this process. Keeps me busy and on my toes, so I’m never bored!
