Guys I thought of a fic idea:

So imagine this, if you will: It takes place season 3, when they go to find Laurance in the Nether. It’s during their escape. Everyone makes it out until one of them is grabbed. Garroth.

He’s trying to fight, to get away but there’s just too many of them. Shadow Knights had managed to grab him and now they’re planning on transforming him. One of Laurance’s spies sees this happen and alerts him.

Now Laurance has to rescue Garroth. He has to stop Garroth from becoming like him. He can’t let it happen to someone else.

What Do You Like the Rating of the Fanfic You Read to be?

My fics for House Md so far have mostly been G because I’ve been posting them on here and gone are the days where you could post smut on this site. But I’m curious what ratings people prefer.

These are obviously very generalized descriptions of the ratings, but I’m curious what peoples preferences are.

One of the oddest things I’ve seen this fandom do, that irritates me in all honesty, is making jily angst povs and in the comments there will be various comments going “Reggie would never do that”, “And then Regulus swoops in”, “Yeah but Regulus would never say that”, and it’s just like, what???

All of jegulus’ characterization of the two is LITERALLY that Regulus WOULD do that??? Also, why bring up another ship in a different ship video?? I promise you, you guys can just scroll.

It’s also just, if a person were to make an angsty pov where Lily is yelling at James for that godawful headcanon where he asked her out everyday, ie harrased her every day, you’d have at least, at LEEEEAST ten comments saying that Regulus would never do that, and calling Lily unfair and cruel, however if someone were to make a jegulus angsty pov where Regulus yelled at James for NO reason(instead of Lily’s valid one), you’d have an insane amount of comments sympathizing with both of them.

This fandom hates women, it has in it’s roots with Tonks and wolfstar, and it has now with Lily and jegulus.

okay like i want to preface that i do not have anything against the storylines that they are doing, i’m straight vibing with this season, having fun. i just want to say it’s a little frustrating to me that 911 keeps tacking on these buck and/or eddie centric “surprise” scenes at the end of an episode because then it becomes the big talking point of the episode after the fact and a lot of the other stuff that happened in it falls away to the sides a bit

#like yes i love buddie/buck/eddie all variants there and thereof #and yeah i’ll say i do enjoy experiencing whiplash from media #maybe i just need to broaden my horizons a bit in terms of 911 fandom related stuff idk #but like i am also very much here for the other characters and their storylines getting the proper love they deserve!#past two episodes have been SO good for chim & maddie storylines (and OF COURSE madney wedding storyline my beloved)#and this week we had some great henren and wilson fam stuff #and don’t get me wrong i am also laughing at eddie and enjoying this messy storyline they’re writing for him #and i’m SO happy for canon bi buck. and happy that him and tommy are having a good time etc #i just also want to highlight and see highlighted the storylines that the other characters are getting #anyways. yeah. i’m really really really not trying to start any drama or anything #just wanted to express my feelings #911 #911 spoilers #abby.txt #idk if i should tag this as anything else #feel free to lmk if you think i should tag this as something like fandom wank or smth for it to be blacklistable

Not the spiderverse art book restarting the dying down Hobie age discourse. With the Japanese version implying he’s a ‘young boy’(I think that’s what it was either way either way) and the book saying ‘he’s much older than miles..’(smth like that either way either way) and it’s like seriously? Again? AGAIN?

The directors said it’s up to interpretation. And the only reason(w/ the exclusion of the people thinking he’s like 30 cause that’s weird and gross, re-examine some racial biases)that people are so adamant he is or isn’t a minor is because of shipping! Whether it’s with one of the spider teens or with OCs or justifying self shipping it’s weird! It’s weird that that’s the reason people are going nuts over this shit and dying on their respective hills. And let people have their HCs holyshit.

And to reiterate: it’s not proshipping/pedoshit if someone HCs Hobie as a teen and ships them with one of the spider teens. It’s not necessarily fetishization and is not pedoshit if people HC him as a young adult and do self ships or whatever else goes on there.

It’s fandom let people fuck around. Something doesn’t have to be justified as morally wrong for you not to like it. Stop trying to force your own Head Canons, key word HEAD as in the canon in your head, onto other people.

Sorry for the rant I just cannot believe it’s still going.
