Winter is the bane of your existence, your fingertips prickling with that icy electric as they struggle to lock your door with trembling hands. You’d lost your mismatched gloves in the laundry pile you’ve yet to do, and with your dad coming for supper this weekend, you realized you had to venture out into the arctic rain to get a few things at the store. It’s only a block from your trailer, but the moment you leave the confines of a tin roof that shields you beneath safety on your porch — you wish you would have managed your finances better, to save back some cash to order a pizza instead. Holding onto the railing, your legs tighten to hold you steady, deep black sludge darkening the wood of your steps, covering your half-shoveled walkway. You clutch your Goodwill thrifted handbag, digging out your list and balancing your ink pen between your teeth.
This, of course, has you not looking as you approach your mailbox to start your journey, failing to hear snow pack itself down beneath bike tires. His big feet hit the pedals for all they’re worth, and he lets them slam into the ground to slide, cold instantly soaking through his boots, past his socks, and landing across his toes. He prevents a total collision, but his torso catches you by the shoulder and his arms release his mailbag, crashing into the ground along with your tangled limbs. Your purse goes flying across the road, list destroyed, ink pen a casualty. It takes you a few moments to realize that you’re laying back against his chest, legs wound together, his bike several feet beyond, both of you soaked in muddy rain water and discolored snow, that you pray to god Old lady Tilly’s Pomeranian didn’t piss or shit in.
Everything aches, near that numbing, throbbing process from temperatures. Baron is groaning behind you, fingerless gloves swiping his chocolate tresses from his face. Looks like he forgot his hat today, you note, drinking in his disheveled appearance beneath his patchwork coat (you’re pretty sure he got that thing from a time capsule planted in the 70’s). His green cargo pants are sopping wet, having taken the brunt of the mud, his cheeks are dusted pink, along with his damp mouth and red nose. He’s an absolute treasure, shining everytime you see him, blinding your vision and common sense.
You look down as your skin warms from your realized predicament, almost forgetting about the snow and slush soaking through your pants, and now your panties.
“You okay, doodlebug?” His accented voice is winded, his hands reaching out gently to grasp his own ankle and lift it off of yours. Once your legs are free, he pulls you up with him and that hidden strength he possesses, his coat crunching under rustling fabric.
Your snow boots smack into the watery muck below, one hand held in his massive, gloved palm, the other planting itself on his jacket clad chest. You’re nodding, lifting your chin to face him. “I’m so sorry, Baron. M’ good, I just wasn’t paying attention —“
“You know how many times I’ve done that? Knocked into your mailbox a time or two.” He reaches down beside you to knock his knuckles across several indents in your box’s post. It makes you shiver, cars driving across snowy roads in the distance, a simple backtrack to you both.
Baron clears his deep, wind—coated throat, sniffling softly, taking a few steps behind him to grab up your purse. He brings it to you with an offered hand, starting to protest as you bend to retrieve his overflowing bag. Nothing is ruined, thankfully, and you make a quick exchange, fingers lingering, grazing.
“You’re cold, sweetheart. Should be wearing somethin’ on your hands. Momma used to tell me how fast the weather works against us.”
At the mention of his mother, you note his jostled deflation. You try to lighten his spirits, thanking him for breaking your short fall. “Just grateful we didn’t seem to land on anything special. Like a clockwork present from Mrs. Tilly’s dog.”
It’s comical how his moss-shrouded eyes, kissed beneath luscious lashes — widen in fear. He whispers, just to you, with tendrils of his hair blowing over your nose, tickling, caressing, drifting from your cheekbone, and even nicking your forehead. “Did it, ya know… do its business in there, you think?”
“I considered it within the first seconds, but I think we’re safe.” You’re chuckling, and the next sentence is leaving your mouth before you can stop it. “I think your ass got the brunt of the damage, if we’re being honest.”
He marvels at your language, lips pursing and then they pop, tongue clicking at the roof of his mouth. You start to wonder if you’ve overstepped, but he smirks, the corner of his mouth, tugging in a way that makes you want to kiss him breathless, not missing a beat. “You wanna check it out for me?”
Your brows raise higher on your frozen forehead, and he’s immediately apologetic, manners kicking into overdrive. “No, oh my goodness. Doodlebug, that wasn’t very proper of me when you were just—a—kiddin’ and all.”
His flustered state gives you confidence. “Maybe if you spin real slow. As for checking it out, I’d love to, if I didn’t have to make the store before closing.” You sigh when reality pushes its way in. Here in this park it’s usually Baron that jumpstarts those reserved butterflies, giving you something to always look forward to.
“What are you needin’? I might have it at home.”
“Baron, I don’t want to take anything from you —“
“It’s not takin’ if I offered, now is it?”
He’s slipping his bag over his shoulder and yanking bike by the handlebar off the ground, one hand on his trim waistline.
“Some stuff for supper. Dad is comin’ in this weekend.” Baron’s smile melts you entirely, your energies on high alert. He knows how your lack of relationship with your father affects you. He feels a possessive need to protect. Besides, your pop doesn’t deserve you working yourself into a frenzy over a home cooked meal.
“I got a frozen pizza. I think that’ll do just fine for him.”
He raises a hand off his bike to push his hair back, and then scrambles to replace it, the heavy object almost clattering onto the ground once more.
By god, he’s too cute for his own good.
“Okay.” It’s not one word, but it’s how you say it. Pliant and secure, satiated.
“Okay.” He replies, bashful, toeing his work boot into the ground and swirling it around the slush. “You go on back in and I’ll bring it to ya after my route?”
Your response shocks his flickering gaze into finding you. “Can I walk with you, Bar?”
Because yeah, you sure can…

"That last day the five super kids put the super-powered t-shirts in the time capsule to be opened and used by a new group when the time came" Rain closed the book looking over to the little girl in the bed. She was down and yawning but fighting to stay awake.
"Teta Rain," the girl said sleepily, "you tell the best stories. Ya think I could get one of those t-shirts?"
"Your father wouldn't approve" Rain answered "tell you what, you go to sleep and I'll find you a vintage Superguardian t-shirt with the glow-in-the-dark shield so you can pretend, deal?"
"Deal," the girl sighed but one last bit of defiance remained "did the shirts really get their powers from radioactive comic books?"
"Just enjoy the magic of the story, go to sleep."
Some weeks later:
"Thanks for coming, teta," a man said as Rain parked her bike. "What is it? you sounded upset." Rain asked walking up to the man.
As she did the little girl in an oversized Superguardian shirt flew down and hugged Rain.
"Is that my old shirt?" The man asked worry in his voice.
"No," Rain answered with a grin and laugh, "it's from my closet, guess I spilled a cup of magic on it somewhere."

every fortress falls (AKIRA x NCT)
Tumblr media
Please enjoy this anime-kpop crossover for the Lights, Camera, Fanfiction event hosted by @supermwritersnet! I chose to write for Shotaro and one of my favorite fictional universes ever, Akira’s Neo-Tokyo. If you know Akira, my story will run parallel to the canon plot. If not, I hope you give this a try and enjoy anyway and I highly recommend the source material! <3
If you’re interested, here is my AKIRA playlist.
Setting of Akira: It has been thirty years since the end of WWIII, begun due to the detonation of an unidentified superweapon known only as “Akira” over Tokyo. The incident and subsequent war decimated the city which was rebuilt into Neo-Tokyo, a corrupt and crime-ridden megalopolis centered on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay.
Characters: Shotaro, Sungchan, Yuta, Akira main characters, other NCT members upcoming.
Genres: cyberpunk, sci-fi, action/adventure
Warnings: drug use/abuse, gangs, some swearing, eventual graphic violence
Rating: mature but not explicit
Chapter length: 1.3k
Tumblr media
Chapter 1:
The capsule cradled in Shotaro’s palm is red and white and shiny, like the earrings that Noriko would wear and which, when Shotaro asked, he found out were supposed to look like “blood and come,” respectively. The drone of Tanaka-Sensei’s voice from the front of the classroom barely penetrates the cloak of sullen disruption shielding Shotaro’s wooden amphitheater seat in classroom 12 of the Eighth District Vocational Training School. Even though realistically no one is paying attention, Shotaro tries to hold the pill so that his hand is obscured by his row’s shared desk. He doesn’t know why he’s so nervous; Tanaka-Sensei is barely commanding control of the room as he attempts to explain how a carburetor works, the closest kid to Shotaro is reading a girly magazine, and everyone at the school is well aware that you can buy as many of these pills as any broke student could afford from the nurse’s office.
It’s just, Shotaro reasons as the patent-leather-like curves of the capsule glint in the jaundiced combination of natural and fluorescent light, he’s always been a good kid. He doesn’t do things like this – at least that’s what Yuta constantly tells him. He doesn’t buy drugs – no matter how cheap they are – from Kaneda’s girlfriend of all people, and he certainly doesn’t take them. Kaneda, Shotaro has always felt, is inextricably linked to him. For one, Shotaro Kaneda’s family name is the same as Shotaro’s given name (though they use slightly different kanji if anyone ever cared to notice). For another thing, the two boys have known of each other since early childhood, having come up in the same orphanage and school system for boys deemed by the state to be “lacking in future prospects.” (Shotaro doesn’t think this label really applies to him; it’s not his fault he doesn’t really like academics and the one activity he really enjoys – dancing – is far too expensive for him to pursue). For a final, crucial thing, Kaneda is the leader of the Capsules, the rival gang to Yuta’s Clowns. The fact that Kaneda could very literally kill Shotaro’s adoptive brother of sorts any day now understandably precludes him from feeling much of an affinity towards his classmate.
Shotaro has been taunted more times than he can remember for being the “boring” Shotaro. But if skating by under the radar to receive his vocational high school diploma, getting out, and not being sent to Jaws for discipline twice a week is boring to his classmates, Shotaro doesn’t really care.
Well, he didn’t care, until he had gotten to thinking one day last week. It started when he’d found Yuta’s stash of drugs. Yuta tries very hard to keep any evidence of his dependency from his little brother, but he’s not always great at it. Over the years, Shotaro couldn’t help but notice the blissful calm which comes over Yuta when Shotaro has caught him thinking he was taking the stuff in private. Nor could Shotaro help but register the ensuing boost in energy and motivation. It had always made him wonder even if Yuta categorically forbid it and he was good at smothering his curiosity. When Shotaro came to school the next day and mentioned finding Yuta’s pills offhand to Sungchan, the younger boy proved less adept at quashing his hunger for new experiences, and Shotaro had begun to truly let his imagination get the best of him.
“Hey!” The harsh whisper startles Shotaro out of his preoccupation with the look and feel of his capsule, to the extent that he almost blunders and drops it down the five graduated rows of seats below him. But fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, he holds on.
The voice is as familiar as the backseat of Yuta’s motorcycle and coming from the level of seats behind Shotaro, so he turns around. Class has devolved to the point that having a full conversation stage-whisper style is about the least disruptive thing occurring.
Sungchan’s oversized frame and comforting smile loom over Shotaro from above, like a benevolent version of the mechanical surveillance vultures Sungchan had once gushed in horror that the American government was trying to build.
“Did I scare you?” Sungchan asks.
Shotaro fakes a glare at his best friend, but only ends up chuckling.
“How could I be scared by a 185cm walking teddy-bear?”
Sungchan tries to look hurt but giggles right back.
“Did you get the stuff?”
Shotaro nods, angling his hand so Sungchan can see the pill.
“Why were you so late to class?” Shotaro asks, feeling irrational panic nipping at the edges of his mind for the first time all day to suggest that maybe Sungchan was held up because someone caught him with drugs. Shotaro wonders why this thought hadn’t occurred to him earlier, hoping that’s an indication of its ridiculousness.
“I got caught up talking to Sawako in the nurse’s office,” Sungchan explains, and Shotaro relaxes a little. “She was very chatty for some reason and I felt bad. I think she’s lonely. Did you know Kaneda got her pregnant?”
“No, what?” Shotaro makes a face as disapproving as he feels. “That asshole. Of course he wouldn’t use protection. Ugh, anyway. Did you get what you wanted? Everything go smoothly?”
Sungchan pulls a button-size plastic bag from his pocket and displays, not quite covertly enough for Shotaro’s liking but he’ll live, the identical red and white capsule within.
“Perfect.”
“I was thinking,” Sungchan continues, “Sawako said she thinks there’ll be a battle between the Capsules and the Clowns tonight. Should we try to catch some of it?”
Shotaro leans his elbows onto the desk in front of his friend and smiles, indulgent.
“While we’re high for the first time? Sounds like a shitty idea.” Sungchan pouts like Shotaro knew he would, so he adds a “we can feel it out in the moment, though,” because he is a weak man when it comes to Sungchan’s wants and needs. They are both that way towards each other, even when it gets them into trouble. But as Yuta always says, “memorable trouble is worth it”; i.e., if it makes a good story in the future, might as well go for it.
“Yuta would kill me if he found out though,” Shotaro wagers, “and I mean that literally.”
The last class of the day ends as he’s speaking and he and Sungchan make plans for meeting in the evening as they filter out of the musty, chipping paint, brutalist structure which is supposed to pass for a place of learning.
Shotaro finds Yuta where he always does after school: unsheathing his motorcycle in the back parking lot.
Yuta’s bike is a souped-up Honda painted to look like a 1940s bomber. Yuta wears a black leather biking suit he probably slipped on in the men’s room before heading out and pulls a helmet decorated with clown makeup over his black mullet as he greets his little brother, following the exchange by offering a similar helmet to Shotaro.
They hop on and head out onto the streets of Neo-Tokyo. Skyscrapers tower grey in the daytime light what feels like miles above the litter-strewn street and block out the sun. They’re so massive they could probably each hold an entire city’s worth of people, Shotaro reckons, and they move sluggishly in opposition to the trajectory of the bike, like cargo ships trudging against water.
“Good day?” Yuta asks when they stop at an intersection next to Flower Alley Mall.
“Yeah,” Shotaro assures. “Sungchan heard something about a battle tonight? What’s up with that?”
“I don’t want to get into it, but he’s right,” Yuta admits. “But don’t try to tag along or I’ll murder you.”
With that, the light turns and Shotaro grabs hold of Yuta, mumbling “I know” fondly into his shoulder. They zip away like that the rest of the way to their apartment, the capsule burning nuclear in Shotaro’s pocket as he’s left to ponder his next move.

Chapter 4: New York on its Knees
(Violet)
I found my way to the top of Stark Tower easily; Loki was standing at the edge of the building, looking out at New York. The doctor stood in front of the machine he built; his head snapped towards me, a blue hue swirling in his eyes.             “Are you ready?” I giggled as I got closer to Loki.             “More than ever,” Loki shot me an evil smile.             “The machine is ready, sir,” the doctor said behind us. Loki walked over as the doctor started the machine before shoving the blue cube into the beam of light that intensified. I followed the beam as it rose when finally a portal opened about us, the Chitauri army starting to spill out into New York.             “I’m going to keep the Avengers busy, my dear,” I smirked, meeting his bright green eyes. I noticed that his eyes were taking on a slightly blue tint the longer I watched, but I ignored the shiver that ran down my spine.             “No, stay with me,” Loki commanded. “Watch New York fall from our lovely view,” he smirked.             “You found my target,” I raised an eyebrow.             “Of course, darling, someone should be paying him a visit right about now,” Loki moved his eyes back to the chaos unfolding.             “Bring him here,” I snapped, turning to walk away from the edge.             “As you wish,” Loki said. I watched in awe as the building around us crumbled, the screams of civilians filling the air; curse this useless planet for hiding my father all these years. Then, off in the distance, I saw one of the bikes barreling towards the roof, a familiar shape hanging from the back; the minion dropped the man onto the roof before taking off again.             “Hello, Father,” I snarled as I circled him. Loki’s head snapped towards me, realizing he didn’t know who I had sent him after.             “V-Violet?” my father whispered.             “What don’t you recognize me anymore? Did I get too big for your preferences, so you just forgot what I looked like all together?” I spat at him.             “Preferences?” Loki’s voice broke my trance, his tone the softest it’s been all day.             “Don’t worry, dear,” I winked before I landed a kick to my father’s shoulder, sending him flying back.             “Vi,” Loki’s hand on my arm stopped me. “What are you talking about?” his now deep emerald eyes searching my face for answers.             “Loki dear, Earth isn’t the only place that fathers like to touch their little girls. Asgard has their fair share as well,” I growled, ripping my arm free. I stalked over to my father, who was on his back, staring at the sky, tears falling.             “I’m sorry, I was a weak man,” my father sobbed.             “Weak! You were cruel!” a dry laugh left my mouth. “I want you to feel all the pain I dealt with; you are the reason I’m this way,” my face was inches from his. I watched his expression change; his face smoothed out as he realized he was getting no sympathy from Loki or myself.             “You’re not biologically my daughter. It could’ve been worse,” any fake sorrow had left his face now.             “Ah yes, my mother being forced to carry me gave you the right to violate me! Pig,” I spit in his face, slamming a knife into his shoulder. He screamed out in pain, reaching to pull the blade from his shoulder, but I threw a smaller knife at his forearm, causing him to scream out again. “You don’t get away that easy,” I chuckled, blood lust taking over.             “Vile creature,” he choked out.             “This vile creature will be your undoing,” I smiled at him, using my magic to hold him in place. A knife materialized in my hand with a crackle of purple-tinted energy. I slowly drug the tip of the blade across his chest, applying enough pressure that he hissed sharply as I moved. I spent the next few minutes carving into my disgrace of a father, letting his screams fill my head, chase off the memories of my screams. I could feel eyes boring into my back; I threw a small dagger perfectly at my father’s throat, blood instantly flowing. I stepped closer, kneeling in front of him; I watched the life slip away, any light in his eyes dulling as his body went limp. Loki was standing stunned, a few feet away, watching as I walked to the edge of the building. “Fuck, the Avengers are taking down more and more soldiers,” I groaned.             “Darling,” Loki offered.             “Not now, I will tell you…one day,” I mumbled, the corner of my mouth pulling up at an attempt at a smile. He seemed to accept that before looking at the Avengers mowing down the army; Loki grunted in frustration.             “Shut it down, doctor!” A woman with striking red hair stood on the edge of the building. I caught her glance over the edge to the balcony below.             “Go take care of whoever’s on the balcony; I can only assume it’s your dear brother. I’ll take her,” I smiled. Loki disappeared quickly; I turned my gaze to the woman making her way to the machine, stalking towards her.             “Ah, you’re a new face,” she said, mirroring my steps.             “Hm, I guess I was doing my job well,” I smiled wickedly. I reached out, forming my magic around her throat, squeezing as I lifted her from the ground; her eyes bulged, not realizing I could use magic. “Oh, you didn’t know I had magic,” I giggled.             “No!” electricity pulsed through me momentarily, causing me to drop the woman. I struggled to my feet, finding the God of Thunder standing on the roof now, too. I franticly looked for Loki until my eyes landed on a slight disturbance to my right; he was shielding himself.             “Thor, how wonderful to see you again,” I smiled, moving in front of Loki, even though no one could see him.             “Again?” his brows pulled together, taken back.             “I haven’t revealed this to your brother yet either, but I’m surprised neither of you recognized me. It has been a long time though,” I flipped a knife in my hand. I felt Loki’s presence behind me, towering over me; I knew he was more concerned about why I knew them and not his brother attacking us.             “What do you mean?” Loki’s voice was rough behind me.             “I don’t expect you to remember, but how do you think I’m so strong?” I turned my head slightly so I could see Loki too.             “Mother,” the brothers said together.             “Bingo, your mother knew I’m similar to Loki. She offered to teach me, we met often, but I was a commoner at that point,” I shrugged. Thor’s posture changed, his vast shoulders slumped forward some, trying to recall memories, his blue eyes spaced out; Loki was staring at me, eyes wide. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier, dear, but I wasn’t sure how,” I cocked my head to the side, shrugging.             “Enough! Surrender,” Thor shouted, standing taller again. Loki snapped out of his trance, stepping up to stand next to me, ready for a fight.             “Run, they can take me. Just make sure you come back for me,” I winked at Loki.             “No, are you insane? They aren’t taking either of us!” he whispered harshly.             “Oh yes, they are, now go,” I pushed him away, flinging magic at Thor, sending him stumbling back.             “No!” Loki yelled this time.             “Promise you’ll come to my rescue,” I looked at him, he narrowed his eyes, but I knew he’d come for me. I grabbed his arm and pushed him back, thinking of the rooms we were staying in, and watched him disappear.             “Where did he go!” Thor’s voice echoed around me.             “I have no idea,” I smiled, stalking closer to him.             “Surrender, you won’t beat me,” Thor yelled. I rolled my head around a few times and shrugged, raising my hands in surrender before falling to my knees.             “You got me,” I smirked at the dumbfounded look on the god’s face. Before I could say anything else, lightning pulsing through my body, I clenched my teeth before it was too much, and the world went black.                                                     /// My eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the bright lights above me; I sat up and looked around, trying to figure out where I was.             “Ah, you’re awake,” the aggravating red head from the roof stood outside the capsule.             “You’re interesting,” I cocked my head to the side.             “I’ll take it as a compliment,” she raised an eyebrow, walking closer.             “Wonderful, why don’t you tell me who you are?” I asked her, walking closer to the glass.             “I’m the Black Widow; they sent me to check on you,” she paced on the walkway.             “Hm, lovely name,” I cooed. I sat down on the floor in front of the glass and watched her, studying her movements; she moved with precision, no missteps. “You’re skilled, yet you underestimated me when we first met. I’m slightly surprised,” I continued to watch her move.             “No one knew you existed; you were very good at keeping it that way. Loki too,” she smiled slightly. My chest tightened at his name, making me think this was a bad idea; part of me hoping he was so angry he left me here to rot. “Ah, there it is,” she pointed at me before leaving me. I rolled my eyes and pushed my conscious away, following behind her, unseen. I emerged into a room with the Avengers sitting around a table, waiting for Black Widow to return.             “What did she say?” Thor said from across the table.             “Nothing much,” the red head sat at the table with a sigh.             “But she said something?” a broad blonde man turned to look at her.             “Nat spit it out. I’m getting impatient,” Ironman said, his suit disappearing as he walked closer.             “Loki, I’m sure he’s coming for her,” the woman named Nat finally said.             “Her surrender was too easy,” Thor shook his head.             “So we can assume Loki will be trying to sneak in for her,” the blonde man spoke again, rubbing his hand across the star on his broad chest. I moved back towards my body, seeing Loki pressing buttons on the console near the capsule I was in; all the tension in my shoulders released at the sight of him.             “Loki,” I whispered, his head snapped up.             “Keep them busy,” he jerked his head in the direction of the Avengers. I pushed my conscious back to where they were still talking, forming a solid projection of myself.             “Well, get security on high alert,” Thor sighed; he lifted his head, and his eyes fell on me. “How?” he raised his hammer towards me.             “Oh, don’t mind me, just eavesdropping,” I chuckled; all the Avengers pushed away from the table.             “How did you get out?” the blonde addressed me this time.             “She’s not,” Thor narrowed his eyes at me. “My brother has taught you well,” he rolled his eyes.             “Vi?” I heard Loki’s voice. I winked at the Avengers before snapping back to my body, Loki standing outside the now, open door to the strange capsule.             “Hello dear, took you long enough,” I said, getting to my feet before walked towards him. As I stepped through the door, Loki’s hand grabbed my throat, slamming me into the glass, his teeth bared.             “Don’t you dare disobey me again,” he snarled in my face.             “Or what?” I growled back. He squeezed my throat tighter, anger radiating off him; for a moment, I assumed he was going to kill me, and all I could do was smile.             “You fucking devil,” he spat, dropping me. I sucked in fresh air as he walked away from me, a chuckle leaving my lips. “You think this is funny!” he finally yelled.             “Hilarious,” I croaked. A feral growl erupted from Loki’s chest as he stalked back to me, picking me up by the throat again, holding me above him in midair; I grabbed his wrist, taking some of the pressure off my throat so I could talk.             “I should kill you with my bare hands,” he snarled at me again, rage bubbling in his eyes.             “Do it,” I said through clenched teeth. “I saved you; you got away. I assumed I’d rot here, isn’t that what you want!” I spat down at him. A rage-fueled roar left his lips as he blinked us back to where I threw him hours ago before he threw me at the wall. My body slammed into the wall of his room, my head feeling light, star clouding my vision.             “You stupid little witch!” he screamed at me.             “Oh, I’m stupid? Well, it looked like my plan worked. Look at that; we both made it out alive and free!” I screamed back at him, pushing myself off the ground. Pure rage leaked from every pore in his body. I could feel it in the air; he lumbered across the room until he was right in front of me.             “I hate you,” he seethed. I stood toe to toe with him, staring into his blazing green eyes; his hand closed around my throat, again, and this time I was sure he was going to throw me out the window. Instead, his lips slammed into mine, catching me off guard; I immediately kissed him back, my hands tangling in his hair, pulling roughly. A growl deep in his chest lit a fire inside me; Loki slammed me into the window, pressing his hard body against me as our tongues fought for dominance. His free hand roughly grabbed my waist, pulling me close, no doubt leaving bruises behind as his mouth moved to my neck; I moaned when he bit down hard on my shoulder. I let go of his hair, gripping his shoulder as I jumped; he caught me effortlessly. I wrapped my legs around his waist, and his hands found my ass as he continued biting and sucking on my neck. Breathy moans left my mouth every time his teeth grazed my skin; he effortlessly carried me to the bed, dropping me. I reached for him, needing more, but he slapped my hand away, rage still fueling him. I narrowed my eyes, grabbing his pants, pulling him closer, and this time his hand came down across my face, hard and sharp; he grabbed my chin, bringing his face very close to mine. “I run the show,” he growled. I bit my lip, trying to contain the moan that threatened to escape. The stinging in my cheek was forgotten as I watched Loki tear my clothes apart, his mouth moving over any bit of skin he could. I fought with his armor, fumbling to get the leather off, needing to feel his skin.             “Damnit,” I mumbled, getting no closer to removing his armor. Loki grunted, still tearing away my jump suit; with a snap of his fingers, I watched his clothing crawl away from his skin. Finally, Loki freed me of the constricting suit, and we lay pressed together; our slightly cooler than normal skin connected everywhere but the most important place. Loki grabbed my throat again, pulling my lips to his, wasting no time pushing his tongue past my lips. His free hand hungrily tore at my underwear, quickly removing the last piece of clothing between us; I gasped into his mouth when he lined his cock up, already pushing forward. A pornographic-sounding moan fell from my lips as Loki continued to fill me; we panted together when he finally fully sheathed. The hand around my throat fell away, but he still hadn’t started moving yet; I slowly opened my eyes, meeting Loki’s green ones. The rage and lust filling his eyes were borderline terrifying but sent a jolt of pleasure across my skin. “Move, please,” I whispered through gritted teeth.             “If I don’t?” he shot back.             “I guess you suffer too,” I quipped, keeping my gaze locked with his. He growled low in his chest but roughly snapped his hips into mine, punching the air from my lungs. He paused for a few seconds before pounding into me at an unforgiving pace; his thrusts slammed into my g-spot so aggressively, I knew I wouldn’t last long. I gasped when I was suddenly weightless; Loki pressed my back into the wall next to the bed, his thrusts never slowing. The moans leaving my lips increased in volume as Loki continued his relentless pace; my back slid down the wall slightly, causing Loki to, somehow, hit deeper.             “F-fuck,” Loki moaned, fucking into me harder. I could feel the heat in my stomach intensifying as my orgasm approached; Loki noticed and snaked one of his hands between us, tracing tight circles against my clit as his cock pulsed inside me. His thrust lost their rhythm as he neared his orgasm, his moans pulling me along with him. Out of nowhere, Loki moved me away from the wall slamming my back down on the bed as he spilled his seed deep inside me; I came screaming for him as soon as my back hit the bed. Loki stayed seated inside me as we tried to catch our breath, bringing ourselves back to reality. He pulled out of me but didn’t crawl onto the bed. “Vi.”             “Y-yeah,” I stuttered through a ragged inhale. Eventually, the bed dipped next to me as Loki stretched out next to me, pulling me onto the bed farther. I looked up at him, our eyes meeting, anger still swimming below the surface; he leaned down, pulling me closer to his chest, our faces only inches apart. No matter how intense the anger was that I felt towards Loki, I couldn’t bring myself to move away from him, my body aching to be close to him.             “Don’t make me regret leaving you alive. Prove it wasn’t a mistake when we go back tomorrow,” he growled.             “We have to go back,” my brain fighting through the post-orgasm haze, trying to grasp his words.             “Well, I lost the tesseract due to your need for rescuing,” his nostrils flared slightly.             “I didn’t expect you to come for me,” I sat up abruptly, regretting it instantly. Loki tried to steady me, but I ripped my arm away from him, shakily getting to my feet. “And just know, I don’t care what you do to me; I’m not going to blindly follow you,” I shot over my shoulder, the lust-filled haze wearing off.             “You truly expected me to leave you there?” Loki asked, propped up on his elbow, raising an eyebrow at me.             “Why not? All I’ve ever been to you is a royal pain in the ass,” I laughed dryly, looking for clothes to put on.             “Yes, but I wouldn’t leave you to rot,” he shot back. I pulled an oversized t-shirt on and walked into the bathroom, seeing the slightly red mark from where Loki struck my face. I rolled my eyes slightly, trying to ignore the sensation between my legs, thinking about it.             “Surprised me. You even fuck me like you hate me,” I snorted, fixing my hair. He appeared in the doorway, watching me; I glanced at him but continued trying to tame my hair.             “I don’t hate you. More times than not, I kind of like you,” he stood behind me now, his head leaning to one side. “You push my buttons on a new level, make me want to kill you. Drive me to the brink of insanity, but hate you, no. On the contrary, I care for you in a way I’ve only ever experienced once,” he whispered, eyes still roaming over me.             “I know what you mean,” I sighed. “I want to hate you, despise you, but I don’t. It’s a very odd feeling I have towards you Loki,” I looked down at the sink. “We’re pretty fucked up. You know that, right?” I caught his green eyes through the mirror.             “Let’s get some sleep,” his lips pulling into a tight line on his face, pulling me towards my bed again. I fell into bed, Loki hugging me to his chest, and I fell into a dead sleep listening to his strong heartbeat.

You got it wrong Stark
A/N: Hey there everybody I am here with a new fic for @myattemptatfanfic’s writing challenge. It is a Bucky x Oc as I have asked if I could. The oc is Niki Valentine. She is Steve’s older half-sister and was in a relationship with Bucky before he fell from the train. She has long red hair, blue eyes that have gold rings around the pupils and pale skin. She helped found S.H.I.E.L.D and went undercover as a new member of Hydra after Steve went into the ice. While there, she found out that Bucky survived and offered her services so that she could be with him again. (More like they blackmailed her into doing it by saying if she didn’t they would kill him. It doesn’t help that Zola knew exactly who she was because Bucky kept calling out for her.) The prompt is in bold italics.
Niki sat in one of the seats in the Quinjet, as Steve landed on the snow covered terrain. She knew what they were going into and told Steve and Bucky that if they wanted to leave her then she would find a way to follow them.
With her training, they both knew she could and would do it.
So, they let her come along.
Steve and Bucky were talking about something when the doors to the jet opened but she wasn’t really interested in it.
Once off the jet, Steve led them all into the bunker. They walked down to the caged elevator and climbed in.
Niki just stayed quiet for the most part. She would glance a Bucky every once in a while, hoping to see the light return to his eyes.
The elevator stopped in the bowls of the bunker and the doors slid open.
Steve got out first followed by Niki as Bucky held the door.
Bucky readied his heavy duty machine gun as Niki grabbed her semi-automatic pistol and they walked along the corridor.
Niki was between them as they stayed close to the wall.
Bucky went to look into an alcove but Niki beat him to it and nodded when all she saw was junk.
Steve nodded to them and they started to go up some stairs when the sound of a loud thud made them spin around with their weapons aiming down to where the noise was from.
“You ready?” Steve asked them both.
“Yeah.” Bucky said as Niki nodded.
The double doors opened revealing Iron Man with his hands forcing the doors to move.
Steve stared in surprise and Niki sighed a little.
Tony walked over and retracted the suits helmet.
“You seem a little defensive.”
Bucky and Niki kept their guns up as Steve walked over to meet Tony.
“It’s been a long day.”
“At ease, Soldier. I’m not currently after you.”
“Then why are you here?”
“Could be your story’s not so crazy. Maybe. Ross has no idea I’m here. I’d like to keep it that way. Otherwise, I gotta arrest myself.”
“Well, that sounds like a lot of paperwork.” Steve said lowering his shield. “It’s good to see you, Tony.”
“You too, Cap.” Tony looked over to Niki and Bucky. “Hey, Manchurian Candidate, you and Stripes over there are killing me. There’s a truce here. You can drop…”
Steve nodded to them and they lowered their weapons.
The four of them walked cautiously along the corridor with Niki and Bucky in the lead.
Tony led them towards an enormous chamber with the capsules standing in it.
“I got heat signatures.” Tony said as he walked farther in.
“How many?” Steve asked as he followed Tony.
“Uh, one.”
As they walk farther in, the lights come on and a hazy, yellow mist descends within the capsules. Niki knew exactly what was in them.
Steve, Tony, Niki and Bucky looked around, bewildered.
“If it’s any comfort, they all died in their sleep.” Zemo’s voice said on the speakers.
Niki and Bucky looked closer at their former comrades and saw the bullet holes in their heads.
“Did you really think I wanted more of you two?”
Bucky walked over to Niki and pulled her into a tight embrace as she flinched and gagged. Even after her time in the war and doing Hydra’s dirty work, she still had a hard time with death.
“What the hell?” Bucky said as he tried to calm Niki down by rubbing her back.
Zemo smiled sinisterly. “I’m grateful to them though. They brought you here.”
The lights in another room came on showing his face through the glass on the door.
Steve hurled his shield at it but it bounced off and flew back to him.
“Please Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch of UR-100 rockets.”
Tony scoffed. “I’m betting I could beat that.”
“Oh, I’m sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you’d never know why you came.”
Steve looked at Zemo through the window. “You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?”
“I thought about nothing else for over a year.” He looked passed Steve and to Niki. “I studied you. I followed you. But now that you’re standing here, I just realized… there’s a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. I bet she has it too, seeing as she is your sister. How nice to find a flaw.”
“You’re Sokovian. Is that what this is about?” Steve said as he stood so Zemo couldn’t see Niki.
“Sokovia was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I’m here because I made a promise.”
Steve studied Zemo more closely. “You lost someone?”
Zemo looked grave and clicked his tongue. “I lost everyone. And so will you.” He glared at Niki and Bucky. “Starting with them.”
The light from a screen turns on near Niki and Steve walked over.
“An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again. But one which crumbles from within? That’s dead… Forever.”
Tony walked over and looked at the freeze frame. It was a secluded road and the date was December 16th, 1991. His eyes scanned over it anxiously. “I know that road. What is this?”
You hit play and watched the recording. But what you saw was different than you remembered.
A car that the Winter Soldier forced off the road crashes into a nearby tree.
Tony watched the screen intently as the Winter Soldier drove up to it and got off his bike.
Steve watched Tony’s increasing unease.
The driver was lying on the ground beside the car. It was Howard Stark. Tony’s father.
‘Help my wife. Please. Help.’ Howard begged.
The Winter Soldier walked over and hoisted him up by his hair. He stared at Howard’s bloodied face and Howard stared back pleadingly.
‘Sargent Barnes?’
‘Howard!’
Tony glared at Bucky while the video kept going. Niki grabbed Bucky’s hand.
The Winter soldier pounded Howard hard in the face with his metal fist.
‘Howard!’
Tony closed his eyes in grief for a moment.
On screen his father slumped dead. The Winter Soldier put him back in the driver’s seat with his face against the steering wheel.
Tony stared in horror at his mother in the passenger seat with blood streaked down her face.
The Winter Soldier walked around and gripped her throat.
Expressionless, he strangles Maria Stark.
Tony watched the screen stunned.
The Winter Soldier walked up and aimed a gun at the surveillance camera.
Steve looked at Tony anxiously.
Tony lunged at Bucky but Niki and Steve stop him.
“Tony. Tony.” Steve said as he stood between them.
Tony was consumed with grief and tears were glistening in his eyes. He looked at Steve. “Did you know?”
“I didn’t know it was him.”
Tony pulled away and growled. “Don’t bullshit me Rogers! Did you know?”
“Yes.”
Tony stepped back with his chin jutting upwards twitchily. He reengaged his helmet and punched Steve to the floor.
Niki and Bucky start to shoot at him but he deflected it.
He ran at Niki and disarmed her then he ran at Bucky.
Tony grabbed him and flew across the chamber slamming Bucky to the floor and jumped on his arms.
Steve’s shield hit Tony distracting him.
Steve and Niki ran over to Tony and Bucky.
Steve barged into Tony and knocked him backwards. Tony shouldered him to the floor and shackled his ankles.
Niki was trying to get them all to stop fighting. But they wouldn’t listen. So she joined in hitting Tony with her right arm.
Her coat sleeve ripped showing off the black, red and blue armor that protected it.
Steve turned to Niki and yelled. “Get out of here!”
Niki ran over to Bucky and started to pull him away. They both started to run to the control panel and Bucky hit it making the door overhead start to open.
“It wasn’t him Tony. Hydra had control of his mind!”
“Move!”
“It wasn’t him!”
Tony tried to fly to where Niki and Bucky were but Steve grabbed his ankle in mid-air, smashing it.
Tony blocked Steve by shooting down rubble.
He tried to fly but it was faulty.
Above Tony, Niki and Bucky were jumping from platform to platform.
With stuttering jets, Tony catches up with them and he kicked Bucky.
Steve blocked Tony’s attack with his shield and Tony fell to a lower platform.
Steve turned to Bucky and Niki. “He’s not going to stop. Go.”
“Steve that recording was wrong. That’s not what happened.”
“What do you mean Niki?”
“I was there Steve. Maria didn’t die like that.”
“I’ll try to talk to him. But I don’t know if he will listen.”
Tony soared upwards with his weapons trained on Bucky.
Steve jumped and shot a wire at Tony. It wrapped around his neck and they both went back down.
Tony deflected Steve’s shield and tried to aim at Bucky again.
Niki saw what Tony was aiming at and she pulled Bucky away before the door shut on top of him.
“Bucky we need to find another way out of here.”
“I know.”
Tony flew up to them and blocked a few swings from an iron pipe.
He grabbed Bucky around the neck from behind.
“Anthony Stark let him go!” Niki yelled trying to get Tony away.
“Get back Niki.”
“Stop it Tony!” Niki yelled as she tried to get him to let go of Bucky.
Tony’s grip got tighter. “Do you even remember them?”
Bucky looked at Niki. “I remember all of them.”
Bucky used his feet to push them both off the walkway and away from Niki.
They both fall and Steve jumped into them to deflect the fall.
Niki followed suit.
She grabbed Bucky’s hand and pulled making it so that he landed on a platform. She landed on one just below the one Bucky hit.
Tony and Steve landed on the concrete floor near an opening in the wall where the snow was coming in.
Steve stood up and looked at Tony. “This isn’t gonna change what happened.”
Tony growled. “I don’t care. He killed my mom.”
They start punching each other and Steve gets pinned. Bucky jumped down and grabbed Steve’s shield and joined the fight. Niki followed and stood back.
Bucky forced Tony against a wall and grabbed the glowing core.
Niki ran over and pulled Bucky out of the way as the core of the suit started to glow.
The blast hit Niki in the right side.
“Niki!!” Bucky yelled as he tried to get to her.
Her armor that was covering her arm was gone. The skin was burned so bad that parts had started to split and bleed.
Bucky ran over to her and Tony blasted him.
Bucky covered Niki with his body and put his metal arm up.
When the light dimmed, Bucky’s arm was gone.
Tony blasted Bucky into Niki and they both landed a few feet away from him. Niki on her side and Bucky on his back.
Steve got in the way as Tony tried to get to Bucky again.
The fought for a while till Tony zapped Steve.
He fell to his knees in front of Bucky.
Niki was on her side trying to reach out to Bucky with her good arm.
Tony looked at her and frowned.
Steve got Tony’s attention back on him.
“He’s my friend.”
“So was I.” Tony said punching Steve.
He threw Steve back at the gaps in the wall. “Stay down. Final warning.”
Steve got up and put his fists up. “I can do this all day.”
Tony raises his left palm ready to fire when Niki and Bucky grab his legs. He spins and kicks Bucky in the face and punches Niki’s right arm.
Steve grabs him lifting him over his head them throws him down.
After a while Steve finally got the last hit. His shield sticking out of the core of the Iron Man suit.
While they fought Niki made her way over to Bucky. She used her left arm to lift his head and put her legs out so his head wasn’t on the cold concrete floor.
Steve stood up and grabbed the shield pulling it free from the suit.
He moved away from Tony as he rolled painfully to his side.
Tony saw Niki sitting with Bucky’s head in her lap as she brushed his hair from his face.
Steve pulled Bucky up and held his hand out to Niki.
Tony glared at them. “That shield doesn’t belong to you.”
Steve turned his back and Niki groaned as she took Steve’s hand.
“You don’t deserve it. My father made that shield!”
Steve stopped, raised his chin then dropped the shield.
Niki tried not to cringe when she moved her right arm.
“I guess the next thing you are going to say is that I don’t deserve the armor your dad made me for my arm.”
“Niki let’s go. It’s not worth it.” Steve said putting Bucky’s arm over his shoulder.
“Steve enough. I told you that the video was tampered with.”
Tony looked at her. “What?”
Niki sighed and flinched as her right side started to burn.
“Zemo messed with the video.”
“How do you know?”
“Because Tony I was there.”
Niki sighed again. “I was there when it happened. Hydra wanted it to look like he was alone so I hid. It’s what I am good at.”
“Doll…” Bucky tried to talk.
“The reason I was there is because I am the Winter Soldier’s fail safe. If Hydra didn’t want someone dead, they sent me to stop him. It was in our coding.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means he didn’t kill your mother. Neither of us did.” Niki said walking over to Steve and Bucky.
“Let’s get out of here.” She leaned on Steve as she held her right arm with her left.
-Wakanda Medical Facility-
“Are you sure about this?” Steve said as he watched people walk around him.
“I can’t trust my own mind. So, until they figure out a way to get this stuff out of my head, I think going back under is the best thing…” Bucky glanced at Niki as someone wrapped her right arm in gauze. “For everyone.”
“Damn it Buck I just got you back!”
Steve turned to Niki. It had been the first time she swore since she came out of cryo.
“I know doll face.”
“Then let me help you.” Niki said walking over.
“Remember Miss Valentine. Don’t move that arm.”
Niki groaned.
“It’s the only way.”
“It is not and you know it.” She said pulling him close to her with her left arm.
“I don’t want to hurt you.” He said running his flesh hand through her long red hair.
Her blue gold eyes started to well up. “Fine but I am not going to watch you go back under.” She said as the tears slipped down her pale cheeks.
Bucky put his head against hers and nodded.
He knew what it did to her when Hydra made her watch as they made him go back under. He didn’t want her to have to go through that again.
“I will be here every day until you wake up.”
“I know.” He said lifting her chin.
He pulled her up till her lips met his.
“I love you Niki.”
“I love you too Bucky.”
As they closed the tube, she ran from the room with tears falling freely out of her eyes.
Steve stood staring out a window when T’Challa walked over to him.
“Thank you for this.”
“Your friends and my father, they were all victims. If I can help at least one of them find peace…”
“You know, if they find out that they are here… they’ll come for them.”
“Let them try.”

2019 KTM SX Two-Stroke MX Models Unveiled
KTM recently published details on its own 2019 SX model lineup with its trio of full-scale motocross bikes such as the 125 SX, 150 SX, and 250 SX. A number of the model-specific modifications for your 125 and 150 were into the motors, although the 250 obtained both motor and chassis alterations, and lots of the upgrades to the suspension and chassis are shared amongst the three 2019 versions.
The 2019 KTM 250 SX motor has been increased in the framework by one level round the swingarm pivot to enhance the handling features, especially front wheel traction.
Courtesy of KTM
One of the modifications made especially into this KTM 250 SX motor really are a revised exhaust vent for much more exact role of the energy valve to boost power delivery and a reworked water heater casing to maximize the circulation of coolant. To allow for greater venting, KTM redesigned the airbox and ingestion snorkels and made a brand new carburetor setting to function with both components that were redesigned.
The 250 SX also includes a more streamlined header pipe and muffler with fresh perforated internal tubes and milder silencer packaging to decrease sound. The brand new muffler equates to a weight loss of about 300 g (0.66 lb ) from the past year's role. Last, the plastic mount that procured the preceding version's mufflers is substituted with lightweight, welded mounting mounts on the 2019 device.
Even the 125 SX, 150 SX, also 250 SX discuss lots of the very same upgrades for 2019, including stiffer frames, upgraded suspension configurations, and fresh bodywork.

The 125 SX along with 150 SX include a plethora of alterations shared between both small-bore two-strokes. Both bicycles feature a brand new cylinder having an updated design of the exhaust vent, a recently constructed diaphragm steel (DS) clutch, along with a brand new clutch casing which is reduced and lessens the diameter of the motor by 10mm (approximately 0.4 inch), and a brand new Pankl transmission.
Even the 125 SX and 150 SX have a reworked carburetor setting along with a brand new header pipe and muffler. Last, the muffler's plastic steering method is replaced with means of a welded aluminum bracket and also the chair of kickstart intermediate equipment was reinforced for improved reliability.
The WP AER 48 fork receives fresh damping settings

KTM created a switch especially into the 250 SX framework for 2019 that increases the motor at the framework by one level round the swingarm pivot to enhance the handling features, especially front wheel traction. Another upgrade is the motor hangers (the link between cylinder/head and framework ) over the 250 SX are actually made from aluminum rather than steel to enhance exact cornering ability and decrease vibration.
Chassis changes shared one of the 3 bicycles incorporate a fresh black framework using a 2-percent growth in cerebral stiffness and also a 10-percent increase in torsional stiffness. These gains in stiffness had been performed to boost feedback to the riders, provide more precise management, and enhance straight-line equilibrium. The bicycles have fresh framework guards using a surface that is structured, and the ideal frame protector also functions as a heat shield to your muffler.
The 125 SX along with 150 SX discuss lots of the exact same engine modifications to 2019 such as a brand new diaphragm steel (DS) clutch and a brand new clutch cover which is reduced and lessens the diameter of the motor by 10mm (approximately 0.4 inch).

The top triple clamp was revised and is more straightforward to coincide with all the brand new frame and bend qualities of the hottest WP AER 48 fork. The swingarm currently has a more back axle slot which allows the trunk to be corrected up to 5mm further back than previous year versions and also the subframes are are 40mm (roughly 1.6 inches) more to enhance back fender stability. The radiators are redesigned and are mounted 12mm (approximately 0.5 inch) reduced, along with a redesigned noodle tube incorporated in the framework triangle comes with a 4mm-larger centre tube raising the cross section by 57 percent. The gasoline tank has also been altered to enhance the ergonomics.
The 125 SX along with 150 SX possess a redesigned airbox and intake snorkels, a brand new header pipe and muffleralong with a reworked carburetor atmosphere to function with the brand new airboxand exhaust system.
Courtesy of KTM
The last touches to the bicycles are upgraded eyebrow (made to be maintenance-free), fresh bodywork, a brand new chair form, a revised pub pad and pay, along with fresh images. Last, all of KTM motocross bikes now include a brand new triangle rack that also acts as a spacer for the front wheel for linking down the bike when transporting it at a motor vehicle. This reduces elevated static pressure onto the atmosphere capsule also prevents the fork out of being compacted during transportation.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The three of you moved forward, to a large open room.
“I got heat signatures.”
“How many?”
“Uh...one,” Tony said, confused.
Once you stepped inside the room, you saw the winter soldiers in cryofreeze capsules...a bullet in their heads.
“If it’s any comfort, they died in their sleep. Did you really think I wanted more of you?” a voice suddenly sounded over a speaker.
“What the hell?” Bucky murmured as the group of you continued to step forward. You were so confused. If he didn’t want more Winter Soldiers...Why was he here? Why were any of you here? What did he want?
“I'm grateful to them, though. They brought you here.”
A light came on, startling all of you. Tony charged his blasters while Steve threw his shield at the figure. You moved into a fighting position. The shield hit right where the figure was, hitting a wall. He was in some sort of room.
“Please, Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch blast of UR-100 rockets,” the man informed.
“I bet I could beat that,” Tony stated as he started to walk forward. Steve and Tony focused on the man while you and Bucky surveyed the area for any sort of sneak attacks. Bucly’s gun swung from left and right, then back again as he moved carefully on his feat.
“Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you'd never know why you came,” the man stated.
“You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?” Steve asked, anger brewing beneath the surface of the question.
“I thought about nothing else for over a year. I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here, I just realized... there's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw,” he said with a hint of a smirk.
“What is this?” you demanded, your nerves bristling. You didn’t like this at all. Something was wrong. This guy planned and did way too much just to get you all in a room.
Why? What was his end game?
“You're Sokovian. Is that what this is about?”
Steve and the curious man went back and forth on why were there. Then he mentioned something about toppling from within again. An empire being dead forever. A monitor turned on with a date. All of you gravitated to the screen to see it.
“I know that road,” Tony suddenly informed. “What is this?” Tony called to the man in the room.
The man didn’t answer though as all of you stared at him, he stared back, a cold look on his face. A car slammed into a pole on the video, someone on a bike doubled back and pulled up beside the car. Your eyes flashed to Tony’s face as he examined the footage. You had no idea what this was. A man was crawling out of the car, but another man...Bucky...walked to him, grabbed his hair, and pulled him up. That was Howard Stark. You’d seen his face before from numerous videos online and pictures in Tony’s room.
Tony looked up to Bucky, astonishment and horror painted on his face. Bucky’s eyes finally met Tony’s before Tony’s eyes flashed back to the screen. You both looked and Bucky’s fist smashed into Howard’s face a few times before he let him fall.
You gasped and covered your mouth with your hand. Tears welled in your eyes as they flashed to Bucky. You knew he couldn’t help what he did but the brutality...the coldness of it was shocking to you. Bucky seemed so...gentle to you. He wasn’t capable of murdering your friend’s parents.
On the footage, he drug Howard back to the car and put him in the driver’s seat before moving to the passenger seat and assumably killing Tony’s mother. When the job was done, he shot out the camera.
The footage stopped.
As did your heart.
Tension in the air was so thick you were practically choking on it.
You wanted to console Tony. That had to be the most horrifying thing for anyone to witness.
Tony moved to go after Bucky, making your eyes flash up to them. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at either of them until then.
But Bucky stepped back, lowering his gun for whatever Tony was going to do to him. That’s when you realized….He wasn’t the monster that was on the screen. A monster would fight Tony, not lay down his guard and accept any fate dealt to him. The same sweet, broken man you had fallen for was still in there. He was still good.
Steve stopped Tony and he spun back to him.
“Don’t.”
Tony turned around and asked Steve, “Did you know?”
This was a question you had wondered yourself. Could Steve have possibly known that Bucky killed Tony’s parents and...withheld that information? He wouldn’t do that...would he?
“I didn’t know it was him,” Steve answered.
“Don’t bullshit me, Rogers! Did you know?” he demanded again.
“Yes.”
Tony jumped away from Steve and you felt your heart break for Tony and for you. The shock from his answer made you take a step back. How could Steve not tell you or Tony? How could Bucky not? How...how could he do it?
Betrayal and heartbreak snaked through your body.
You knew he couldn’t help it. You knew he couldn’t control it. But that didn’t change the fact that Tony was like family to you. The Avengers were the only family and friends you had. The fact that he killed Tony’s parents wasn’t something you could just...forgive or forget. Whether he could help it or not.
Bucky’s eyes flashed to yours for a fraction of a second, trying to assess your thoughts of him, but your glassy eyes just peered back into his. You didn’t know what your thoughts were of him. Your system was on total overload and you were sure your face expressed that, because a look of loss was injected into his gray-blues.
After a moment, Tony suddenly slammed his arm hard across Steve’s face, sending him flying.
“Tony!” you shouted. Seeing them fighting made your heart hurt so bad you thought you couldn't stand it. Tears finally spilled onto your cheeks.
Bucky raised his weapon to face Tony who was now fully suited up. Tony blasted the gun out of Bucky’s grasp and they started to fight hand to hand. Tony grabbed Bucky by the throat and started to fly off.
“Tony, no!” you screamed as you formed a glider and followed him. “Tony, stop!” you begged, horror, anxiety, fear, and worry all balling together to make a tight ball in your throat and stomach.
You knew that Tony killing Bucky would bring him no peace, and that Bucky couldn't help what he had done. If it wasn’t Bucky, it would’ve been some other poor soul that Hydra fucked up in the head sent to kill Tony’s parents.
Just as you had told him on the jet: he had no choice and we couldn’t let our pasts define us.
He slammed Bucky onto the ground, held his metal arm down with his iron boot, and aimed his blaster at his face.
“No!” you screamed again, knocking into him. Of course it didn’t phase him though. Steve threw his shield and knocked him off Bucky. Tony got up and charged at Steve, knocking him back as he threw a handcuffing device to his legs. Bucky got up and hit Tony in the jaw. Tony picked him up and held him against a container. Bucky grabbed his arm and broke his blaster shield.
Tears were still flowing freely from your eyes. Your two best friends in the world and a man you had already fallen in love with were at war with each other and you weren’t sure where you stood.
Tony pulled his arm back and opened up a rocket launcher to which Bucky diverted it, causing it to blow up a large piece of equipment above you. Steve worked to free him of his shackles. Nothing you had would even stand a chance against Tony. The equipment started to fall, breaking the fighting men apart.
You raced over to Bucky to check on him.
“Are you okay?”
He nodded as he got up. You two looked to Steve.
“Get out of here!” he commanded. The two of you began running, checking over your shoulder for Tony. You ran around the corner and right behind you, a blast came at the wall. Bucky hit a button and a door opened up at the top of a shaft. Bucky started to climb as you formed a glider.
“Come on!” you urged before your eyes found that Tony was in the area with you, blasting an area so that Steve couldn’t come in. Tony tried to fly  up to bucky who was hopping and running to each platform. You took your eyes off of them for a second and Tony kicked him across the shaft.
You immediately flew down to protect him. Kneeling in front of a hurt Bucky, you formed a shield. “Tony! Don’t! Please!” you pleaded through a rough lump in your throat.
“Move, Y/N. I will go through you to get to him, don’t test me,” Tony warned.
“Please. Tony, if it wasn’t him, they would've sent someone else,” you stated.
“And I’d kill them too,” Tony said as he blasted at you but you formed a shield, trying to keep it in tact from his blast.
You cried out in pain as you pushed yourself harder than ever before to keep your shield up and intact.
A shield hit Tony, distracting him for a second. Tony blasted down to Steve, but the hit bounced off the shield and knocked Tony back against a wall. You urged Bucky to keep going up with you. Below you, Steve had yanked Tony down with a cord, slamming him into a platform far below. Steve threw his shield and Tony deflected it.
Finally, you reached the ladder, almost out, Bucky right ahead of you. But a missile hit the hinge and the blast knocked both of you back. Bucky hit a platform but you fell in the middle of the shaft, falling fast.
“Y/N!” Bucky screamed as he rolled over to see your falling form.
You formed a shield of sorts under your back, hoping it would stop or at least cushion the impact. It didn’t help though. You landed hard on the concrete, an unbearable pain rocketing through your entire bod, knocking the wind out of you.
“Ugh!” you wheezed as soon as you could breathe again. Your vision was hazy, your head hurt, your back ached. Through blurry vision though, you saw that the three of them were still fighting high above you. Until suddenly Tony and Steve were crashing to the floor and you had to roll to avoid them.
Steve and Tony stood up but you were still doubled over in pain, blood starting to spill around you. You thought it was yours but you weren’t sure.
“This isn’t gonna change what happened,” Steve suddenly said from below you and Tony.
“I don’t care, he killed my mom.”
Tony launched over to Steve and they began fighting, from what you could hear.
A second later, Bucky landed beside you.
“Oh my god...Y/N...I never wanted you to do this for me,” he said as he lifted your head and blood covered his hand.
“I told you...You’re my mission. I have to protect you,” you said weakly, the smallest grin on your face.
“No. No. No…” he said as a plea, his face pinched in pain and fear. This fear was new though. For the first time, it wasn’t fear for what would happen to him. It was fear for what would happen to you.
“Go...Steve needs you,” you encouraged. Steve needed Bucky more than you did. You couldn’t lie here uselessly while Tony was on the grief driven warpath.
“But you’re hurt...bad,” he replied, his eyes brimming with despair as they frantically looked onto you.
“I’ll be fine,” you assured. “Now go.”
He nodded before he let you go gently, then picked up the shield and dove at Tony. You were fading in and out of consciousness. But you suddenly heard a blast that was louder than the others. Gathering some strength you had left, you rolled on your side and began to pull yourself until you reached the edge of the platform-like area and looked down to see Bucky standing with his back to Tony, his left arm blown off, right before Tony blasted him again.
“No!” you shouted, the pain in your head still pounding as you laid there, useless and weary.
Steve launched up and ran forward at Tony. They continued to fight, each blow another blow to your heart. Bucky lay there, wounded and out of breath.
Tony blasted Steve’s stomach, forcing him to his knees.
“He’s my friend,” Steve said in defense.
“So was I,” Tony reminded before he landed a hard punch to his cheek. Tony battered Steve until he threw him between two rounded pieces of the construction. “Stay down, final warning.”
Steve stood up, his fists raised. “I could do this all day.”
Tony raised his blasters and you screamed for him to stop but he ignored you. Just as he was about to fire, Bucky grabbed his foot and tried to pull, but Tony landed a swift and terrible kick to Bucky’s face, a gut wrenching cry escaping his lips. The sight of that was more unbearable than you thought it could be.
You finally mustered strength and hobbled down to Bucky, each step down the ladder sending a new wave of pain over your body.
“Are you okay?” you asked, a fresh wave of tears coming.
He wasn’t moving though.
“Bucky?” you pleaded, cradling his head between your hands as Steve and Tony fought mercilessly. “Stop it! Stop it both of you!” you practically demanded as you turned to look at them, the sight making your chest tighter than ever.
But the pleas fell on deaf ears as they continued to wage war on each other, until Steve obliterated Tony’s face mask with the shield.
“Steve,” you began before he raised his shield again, ready to slam it down on Tony. “Steve!” you screamed so loud it made your throat hurt. But the shield landed on the heart of the suit, disabling it with a hard, effective blow.
In utter shock, you kneeled there open mouthed as Steve stood up to help Bucky up. The three of you started to walk away before Tony told Steve the shield didn’t belong to him, and he dropped it on the ground. The sound deafening your ears. You knew in your heart what that meant. He wasn’t just dropping a shield.
Steve started to help Bucky up the ladder as you gave a final look to your friend. He had moved to a kneeling position.
You walked over to him and knelt, the anger and betrayal clearly painted on his face.
“I’m sorry,” was all you said.
“Leave,” he ordered in a low voice, his eyes avoiding yours.
Without another word, you stood up, and the three of you left.
Afterlife: A Star Wars Story (Fan Story)
The Tri Suns meet at the horizon, burning brightly in the hazy sky. Night falls quickly, and temperatures drop to a bone shattering chill. You can hear the howling, and chanting of the natives of this desolate planet. Once you’re alone, you must seek shelter, or they’ll hunt you down, and kill for just being on their grounds. These natives are blood thirsty, but once you pay them well, they’ll be on your side till you are dried out of credits. It’s midnight now, I arise from my campsite, pack up, and set my coordinates on my speeder for the major city, Dakura.
The Tri Suns are up in the sky now, beating down on this sandbox of a planet. ‘Why the hell am I on Ruumka’; Traveling for hours now to Dakura, and yet, I have come across a charging station for my speeder. ‘What’s that?’ I say to myself, and off about 10km a bright blinding sliver in the horizon, ‘Could it be?’ I say to myself. I speed up by bike, and it is! a charging station with a small cantina.
I pull up to a charging post, with 4 of the 6 still available. I hook up my speeder, turn on my plexo shield so no one can take my gear or my bike. I grab my basic necessities, and head into the cantina.
It is dark, and cool in this cantina, music is playing from this hologram band, and the bartender, greets me in his native tongue, I greet him back, and sit at the bar. I order a  Aitha Protein Drink to replenish myself, and then a Bantha-blood fizz. The bartender and the few people there automatically stop what their doing once they here that drink’s name come out of my mouth. They look at me as some type of murder, and I ask, “Is there something wrong?” The bartender replies, “The Last person that ordered that, enslaved the galaxy. We don’t take kindly to that here.” I’m surrounded by an angry crowd, all having their blasters pointed at me or their vibroswords. As they came closer and closer, my inner darkside came out. My eyes went from brown to midnight black, I stomped my foot on my ground, and everyone was thrown back off their feet. One of them, arose from a table on top of him, and yelled out, “Kill him!” Quickly I pulled out my lightsabers, one red, and the other blue, and then the slaying began. Force chocking one in mid air, as one wanted to interrupt the force choke, I used my jedi mind tricks, and made him kill the others. I dropped the lifeless body on the ground, and began to electrocute everyone, force pushing and pulling, for the easy kills. The cantina was a wreck, broken bottles, tables turned, booths in half, lights barely hanging on, bodies all over the ground, then a rustle within the pile. I walk over with both lightsabers still on, and I point my lightsabers at the group of dismembered bodies, “Speak, or die!” It was the bartender, and with all of his energy, he spoke, “You’re no Sith nor a Jedi. You’re a Grey Lord, are you a Skywalker?” I answered, “No, I’m no where near related to the Skywalker family.” I see how puzzled he is, and he asks me, “How did you manage to get a hold of those lightsabers, Anikan’s Jedi saber, and his Sith Saber?” I put my sabers away, and help the bartender up, and carry him to one still in-tact booths. He pours us both from the Bantha Bottle--awaiting my answer. “I’m not suppose to be here, I don’t even know how far I have traveled in time, but I’m not suppose to be here.” He gulps down his beverage and looks at me with his five eyes. “What do you mean you shouldn’t be hear?” he asks, I respond, “We had something hit Earth, and that something Nasa has been following it for a long time, till they identified that it’s no comet. It was a an elongated spaceship looking asteroid. During a span of 5 years, they researched it, and found out it was from another galaxy, and it plummeted on our planet, After that, I don’t recall much. Just war, and Earth was losing, because they had lightsabers, vibroswords, and better blasters. I remember seeing, well, you might find this funny, but Rey with a Darth Vader’s saber, and Anikans blue saber. It was a blood bath. After that, just a massive blur.” The bartender gets up and limps to small corridor, and pulls out a datacron, which contains up 10million years of recorded history. He turns a small panel on the bottom of it, and a hologram pops on top. Showing Rakath, then zooming in on the Capital, Shym. “What are you doing?” I ask him, “He replies, everyone in the known galaxy knows the battle for Milky Way. You are Sebastian, the Conqueror. You belonged in the Navy, in a tactics ops team. You guys had no match, your planet Rakath had no match against the New Order. With Rey in command, she was unstoppable.” He presses play, it shows the truth. ‘Many of these elongated spaceships disguised as asteroids, crashed on habitable planets, throughout the Milky Way, releasing havoc to the intelligent life on those planets. Milky Way was lost, but one planet, gave the best fight, a fight that the New Order, took heavy tolls. A tactical squad, that involved the best soldiers on Rakath, from every branch, and they called themselves the 500 Legion. They gave the New Order a run a war that lasted 5yrs, and the galaxy laid on their shoulders. Captain Phasma was killed in action, Kylo Ren was beheaded by General Sebastian with Darth Vader’s Saber, and it was an imminent victory as it was being prodcast live for everyone in the universe to see, to see the New Order conquer all. In many planets, people cheered for the 500 Legion, and very few supported the New Order. It was not until December 20th 2028, precisely at 1600hrs Rey summoned the Power of Grey, annihilated the 500 Legion, all but one. General Sebastian was the only one left, the only in Rey’s way, in conquering all. He used Vader’s sword, as Rey used Anikan’s Jedi sword, the fight lasted for hours, despite General Sebastian’s lack of Force usage. He fought with physics, and barely winning, Rey knelt. Defeated she was, but with the power of pure Sith, she caused the Planet to crack, and fragments floated in the air, as her eyes shined red, and darkness covered her body, Sebastian was blown off the planet, and sent into a deep space travel. Unconscious, and unknown, He travels through space in a time capsule. Legend says, his body is still out their, traveling through space, alive or dead, he is the only hope to bring Order to the Universe.’
I finished my last gulp, took a deep breath, and asked, “Is Rey still alive?” He chuckles, gets up and walks over to the exit, “She never died, you must go and fulfill your destiny.” I get up, walk towards the door, and I asked one more question, “Tell me, what year is it?” he stats, “In your planet terms, it’s 1.5.2518.” In shock, i walk out, of the cantina, I place my hood on, disconnect my speeder, and continue my journey to Dakura, I just know I have to go there, my gut says so, and just something has been telling me to go there. I ride off to the distance as the Tri Suns are setting once more.
Infinity War spoilers
Taken from Lego Forum, translated (badly?) from Russian. Description of Avengers: Infinity War lego sets.
76101 (14.99€)
Unite with Captain America and the Black Widow to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from invasion by foreigners. Avoid the fire from the shooters of the landing ships, restrain the attacks of six-armed enemies and attack, using the shield of Captain America. Pounce on the enemies with the truncheons of the Black Widow and get the cosmic stone of infinity!
76102 (24.99€)
Join the Avengers, who are trying to find the axe-thunderer for Thor. Sit down in the cab of the rescue capsule with Rocket, Thor and Groot and go into space. On the way to Nidavellir you will meet many enemies, you can be protected from them by shooting from the shooters. Land on the red planet to charge Tor's [sic] power plants in the space forge. Find the stone of infinity, untwist the energy ray and create an amazing axe-thunderer!
EMILY NOTE: Nidavellir is the Realm of the Elves in the MCU, it has been referenced before. This seems to suggest Thor will be wielding Jarnbjorn.
76103 (39.99€)
Defend the Wakanda Wall from Corvus Glaive and his thresher! Shoot at the threshing machine of double shooters and a disk shooter. Quickly open the gate so that the Black Panther can enter the battle. But do not forget to close them immediately, so that the enemies do not break in. Help Shuri to remove the stone of infinity controlling the mind from the head of Vision. Can you do this before the thresher crushes the wall and destroys the diagnostic setup?
76104 (34.99€)
Danger! Proxima Midnight has captured the shooting tower and shoots at Bruce Banner's Hulkbuster! Smash the missile installation of the shooting tower with the powerful fist of Hulkbuster and crush the six-armed enemy. Reflect the punches of the Proksima [sic] Midnight. Order the Falcon to dive down to take the stone of infinity of souls.
76107 (79.99€)
The Last Battle: Together with the Avengers, start the fight for the Glove of Infinity! Shoot at Thanos from the ship's shooters. Open the cockpit and attack using the space bike with Star Lord and Gamora. Avoid the blows of Thanos' huge sword and use the Iron Man's power units to defeat the titan supervillain. When you win, grab the golden glove of infinity and fly away.
EMILY NOTE: Very upset no mention of Nebula in this “last battle.” :-/
76108 (99.99€)
Attention! Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw attack the Sanctum Snactorum [sic] of Dr. Strange! Together with the Spider-Man, jump on them from the roof. Unite with Iron Man and Dr. Strange and use their powers to resist supervillains. If Ebony Maw is able to penetrate the bedroom of Peter Parker, take him away from there through the secret hatch. You must stop the evil invaders before they blow up the wall of the Sanctum Sanctorum of Dr. Strange and get the stone of infinity of time. After defeating your enemies, order pizza and celebrate it with Peter Parker!
EMILY NOTE: Damnit, Peter, now I want pizza.
