The flowers Bob chooses for each of the people in his mind are so sweet to me, as someone who has been so obsessed with flower language lately.

Tia is a pink carnation (both her plant form and the blooms that lead to her bottle). The most common meaning of them is literally “A mother’s eternal love”. It’s also a thank you flower and a flower for remembrance.

The path to Truman’s bottle is lined with black delilahs; Betrayal. His animate plant version seems to be a snapdragon: A flower relating to deception, but also presumption. A request to not assume things, because you never truly know how someone is feeling.

Helmut’s path is marigolds. They stand for grieving, mourning someone held so close to the heart. I wasn’t able to find any official standing on what his plant really is, but to me, the petals seem to be zinnia petals. (There is a type of zinnia called a cactus zinnia, so I thought it might be a play on words, but maybe that’s a stretch.) Zinnias are known for their endurance. They stand for everlasting affection, remembrance, and a sense of youth, even in old age. It’s a TRIBUTE flower.

These are emotions he refuses to talk about, but they’re so loudly shown through the plants he cares about so much. He cares SO much and I will never shut up about it.

Ok! I want to make clear first that these are just my own interpretations/headcanons, for what I'm writing (although I'll try not to mention Riot much), so if someone feels I'm going off-canon, or I don't write them as they should be (whatever that means) just... meh

Ok, so... Gaz, Price, Soap, Ghost and Nikolai because certain someoneeee asked and I can't deny them anything (and he's going to appear in my fic anyway)

He gives me elder brother vibes, as in, responsible, overachiever, trying to do the right thing, being the one making way so his younger sibling(s) have it easier

He is nice and respectful to everyone, specially his elders and/or superior officers, but finds it difficult to tolerate shit or incompetence. Still, he is diplomatic enough to hide it (mostly), and will make a good officer in the future, in both Price and Ghost's opinion

He loves cooking and baking, and thrives learning other culture's cuisine. Doesn't mind spicy food, and absolutely gets a laugh out of sneaking some spice in what he cooks to make his friends sweat

Both him and Soap became fast friends. Not only they're close in age, they're both nerds (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons...) and gamers, and play together fighting games like King of Fighters in an old playstation that Price allowed them to have in the common room.

Friends as they are, they absolutely cheat and piss each other off while playing, to the point of swearing to not ever talk to the other again.

They also absolutely prank each other. Salt in their coffee, googly eyes glued to their bedside lamp (Soap had the fright of his life), toothpaste inside the pockets...

He once covered Soap's side of the office in post-its. Took almost the whole night, but Gaz is a dedicated individual

Looks awesome in a kilt and learned to play the bagpipes when he was a wee lad, but hasn't played one in years

He is way more intelligent that he himself gives credit, and can calculate in seconds the apropriate amount of explosives needed to just demolish what he wants and not a single brick more

That said, he's obsessed with blowing things up. Only things! But if they happen to have ASSHOLES inside, so be it

He is a family man, and tries to speak with his ma as often as he can, but his ma is tiring, man... Always asking when he's getting off the military, when he's settling down, when he's growing out his hair... That mohawk, my son... that's why you're single

Flirt. Like, for fun. Just because. It works either way, because if you feel flattered, he already has you reeled in. If you get angry, he knows how to push your buttons and persuade you in the correct direction. Correct for him, of course.

He can get anything you want/need. It's his specialty after all. What was that, zólotse? You need [insert whatever you imagine]?. Don't you worry, sólnyshko. You'll have it. What does he want in exchange? Only your smile

Of course, if down the line he happens to need something of you, just a little tiny thing, not really important... you'd be a dear and help him out, right?

He not only is a fixer, but he is a trader. He trades anything, information, documents, intel, weapons, vehicles, favours. He doesn't need notebooks, he has it all in his head. All the debts, paid or unpaid, all the people that owe him something, all the people he owes something, people he can convince to 'help' other people so he can kill two birds with one stone, etc etc

He has that ability that can't be learned, of being able to sway anyone his way just with his words. One look at you and he knows what he needs to say to get you on his side, or to make his bidding. Do you need praise? Threats? A pitiful plea? He sure can act the way you need him to, even if you don't know that you need it

If you are friends though, his help comes with no strings attached. Well, maybe a tiny one. Or two. But completely easy things to do. Promise

He seemingly has endless patience, but only with his subordinates. He has no patience nor tolerance for idiots in the higher ranks, and has no problem speaking up against them

Everyone knows/thinks Gaz is his favourite, but in reality all of the core 141 is his favourite, he chose them after all. He trusts each and any of them with his life, and would die for them without second guesses

He knew Ghost before he was Ghost, and seeing what he became destroys him. He was the one to recommend Simon Riley for the Special team that went after Manuel Roba, so he feels responsible of everything. Simon knows and has assured him many times that he shouldn't feel bad, he couldn't have known.

If he shares a cigar it's because shit's about to go down and there's no way out or against all odds you got out and needs to be celebrated. No in between, you won't get a whiff of them ever unless he's smoking them. Except if you're Simon, he's the only one with whom he shares, and it's not unusual for them to go for drinks alone or just share a drink and a cigar in Price's office from time to time. Sometimes they don't even speak.

Acts way older than he is, he's always been an old soul. That said, the shit he has to go through every day keeping those muppets in line makes him feel like he's three hundred at least

But if someone dares to raise their voice at HIS muppets, that someone better prepare for hell to rain upon them. No one gives shit to his kids except him

He smells bullshit when he's faced with it. Nobody knows how, but he knows.

Protective, obsessive, bossy and gruff, but loyal to his last drop of blood

That's why he's 'dad' to his kids, even if they don't call him that. But all of them go to him when they have doubts, Gaz and Soap even go to him to ask for advice about this or that, or how to...? Even Simon does ask him things from time to time, and it's not unusual for them to just drop by his office for no real reason, just needing dad

Stern, taciturn, solitary, stoic. Seemingly cold, but he is only guarded. He finds it difficult to trust, even before Roba, due to his childhood.

Stiff upper lip: displays fortitude and stoicism in the face of adversity, or exercises great self-restraint in the expression of emotion

He can be aggressive and mean, it's part of the job, but he takes it with an attitude more like 'Does this need to be done? It needs to be done', and Simon mentally checks out and Ghost takes the wheel, that way he can preserve his sanity and try not to feel like the ones who made him like this... both his father and Roba

He is slow to trust, but if you manage to get through his walls, his loyalty is unwavering. For example, he'd follow Price to hell, only asking 'when are we leaving' if his Captain would ask him to.

He has a soft spot for Gaz and Soap although he doesn't show it, physically or verbally, but with little things. His love language for others, if he even knows what that is or even remembers what it was, is acts of service. Little things like buying them snacks when they run out and haven't had time to go to the store, or taking over their watch turn when he sees them nodding off.

The love language you would have to use with him would have to be maybe quality time at first, even without touching, just spending time together. Having a smoke at midnight behind the mess hall, doing paperwork together in his office or yours, watching films together in the common room. After things progress, it'll evolve into a mix of physical touch (he's so touch starved it's not even funny, and once the dam is broken you won't get rid of him easily) and words of affirmation, but mostly touch.

I am rehauling my Rúmil X Mel headcanons because the person who used to write Rúmil for me is kind of retired from writing, but I have most of the broad strokes of their timeline down 🌹

Rumil/Figwit hcs

The beginning

I hc that when Haldir is early in his career as a marchwarden, Rivendell used to be somewhere he was sent to often, either as security in larger parties or as a single messenger. Eventually, his duties shift and the Rivendell assignments fall into Rúmil's lap instead.

One of the first times they get a glimpse at each other is when Lindir drags Mel out of Elrond's House to enjoy the view. "The view" is marchwardens arriving in Rivendell. I like the idea that it's kind of shitty out when Lindir does it, so Mel is just like ...What view? Oh. –OH.

RúMel Things

Generally Mel goes by his Sindarin name (Maenod) but Rúmil earns the right to call him Mel/Melpomaen with him in record time.

Mel finds out that Rúmil draws and is absolutely fucking delighted. In a similar vein, Rúmil can watch Mel write for hours. It doesn't even have to be calligraphy or a fancy manuscript, just Mel's penmanship in general. They read to each other often as well.

Mel is very interested in Rú's stories and travels. Rú hasn't actually been around that much (mostly Rivendell and Mirkwood like once or twice) but Mel is still impressed.

Rúmil makes his move by bringing Mel flowers.

Mel starts teaching Rú Quenya. He's a bit past conversational by the end of the Third Age. It's a labor of love on both their parts because learning languages and switching between them in different places/contexts stresses Rúmil tf out. He doesn't speak it super often, but it's nice to know what Mel's family is saying when they're all passing time at home. He also gains far more access to all the weird shit Mel mutters under his breath when he's trying to Get Shit Done. –Turns out, Mel swears like a Gondolin soldier when no ones around.

Rú doesn't teach him North River Pendarin because he's so used to only speaking it in limited contexts that it genuinely slips his mind. He's also gotten a bit worse at speaking it over the years. He still understands it spoken. When Mel meets Haldir and Orophin formally for the first time, they both give Rú a little bit of shit because what do you mean you forgot tell your boyfriend with the language hyperfixation that we speak North River Pendarin

Rúmil's Westron is pretty rough. It's, like, several generations of men out of date and mostly choice phrases like "Get thee gone." and "Return whence you came or fkn else." Rú thinks it's fine for his purposes. Mel's been working on it on it, but they're more focused on Quenya.

Occasionally Rúmil makes a dumb comment about mortals. If they're at Elrond's House, Mel kicks him out of his room for the night. If they're elsewhere, the closest equivalent occurs.

Mel doesn't really have a taste for alcohol. He usually takes one or two sips and slips Rú the rest unless it's something very sweet.

They both love to dance and will spend the whole evening doing so when they have the opportunity.

A section just for hair headcanons

They start braiding each other's hair. It's really easy to tell, which Rú likes a lot. Mel usually wears his very plain, but he's happy to sit while Rú does something more elaborate with it. Rúmil tends to wear the same functional hairstyle day to day, so it's really obvious that Mel put his hair up when he goes around with flower braids and Noldorin hair accessories.

Glorfindel taught Mel a lot of the hairstyles he knows. Sometimes, if Rú is going out hunting or traveling, Mel braids his hair the same way he would for Glorfindel out of habit. Some people do a double take early on, but after it becomes common knowledge that Rúmil and Mel are together no one blinks. It's not like Glorfindel has a patent on the braids or anything. There's just not a lot of people around still putting their hair up in the popular fashion of the House of the Golden Flower circa FA 500.

Mel inherited a good armful of hair accessories from Glorfindel. After they become close, Mel sends Rú home with a golden flower clip.

When Rú gives him a strand of hair to keep, one of the ways Mel keeps it is by braiding it into a small flower shape that he pins into his hair.

When they start courting, they like to do each other's hair in their respective culture's style if they're getting dressed up for something more fancy.

Sometimes it slips Rú's mind that Mel is a Noldo, but the first time they go all out for a festival/big formal event Mel pulls out a spread of jewelry and Rúmil is like Ah. Yes. That's right. Valar above, you guys fkn love your metals. By the time Mel is done, Rúmil has never had so much metal in his hair in his life. He's mildly worried some of it is going to fly out when they dance.

Mel gives Rúmil his hair to make into bow strings occasionally.

They get married, eventually.

When Rúmil breaks the news that he's officially courting Maenod to his brothers they're like Congratulations! then immediately start interrogating him in sibling fashion.

Haldir stands in as the father figure for his brothers' betrothal and wedding ceremonies. He's been through this once before with Orophin so he knows the drill but he's Stressed about it. Notably more than Rúmil is.

Meanwhile, Mel's family is just like this is wonderful! They already like Rúmil and his family. They're not worried about it.

Mel is little nervous about meeting Rú's family formerly, though he's already interacted with them before briefly. He's most nervous about Haldir because he has a reputation in Lorien, both as a Notable and Respectable marchwarden and for being kind of harsh. Lindir helps calm his nerves by reporting that Haldir is only a hardass to wardens and/or younger brothers.

Mel had nothing to worry about; he gets on fantastic with Rúmil's family, especially the brothers.

Rúmil and Mel get betrothed relatively quickly, but it takes them some time to set a wedding date. Neither of them are certain whether they'll sail or stay in Middle Earth. They don't want to end up in a situation where they marry, then one person gets sea-longing and/or chooses the opposite path.

I hc that Orophin marries first out of the three brothers. Haldir/Lindir's Indefinitely Long Situationship™ goes on for so long that it overlaps with Rúmil/Figwit's Indefinitely Long Bethrothal™. Orophin watches this unfold like You have to be fucking kidding me. BOTH of you?

Sometime during the events of the Lord of the Rings, Rú decides he would follow Mel anywhere, whether he sails or stays, and they plan to wed as soon as they're able to see each other again.

They get married in Lorien when Elrond's party stops along the way to Aragorn and Arwen's wedding.

thinking about the allay minecraft mob. i didn't vote for it back then because it didn't feel very "minecraft-y", but i still like it a lot.

thinking about revivebur with an allay hybrid s/o who is constantly collecting tiny trinkets and handing them to him--- making them into pins for his sweater and jacket (so he can cover up the stitches/scar, if you hc him to have that), tying them into his hair or around his wrists, adding them to his glasses, slipping them into his pockets.

it can be marbles, ribbons of old colorful cloth, cool bottlecaps fashioned into badges, wires twisted to have shapes of birds or trees or hearts, leaves and flowers that they quickly replace as soon as the die, some pretty string adorned with wooden beads hanging from his glasses.

Also thinking about how allay's are drawn to music blocks and jukeboxes.

MAYBE the reader knew ghostbur at the time, and was vaguely friendly with them (allays are blue, and ghostbur had a music store). Maybe they mistook Wilbur for Ghostbur upon first meeting him, and he was immediately stand-offish. He warmed up to the allay eventually though.

Another possible meeting scenario is the reader finding Wilbur when he was trying out his guitar, practicing in some abandoned village and trying to regain some of his old talent.

Also, there's the thing that if an allay is given an amethyst shard while doing the dancing animation, they duplicate.

Now, the reader won't undergo mitosis if Wilbur gives them an amethyst shard (dancing/jukebox not needed), but they might grab his face and impulsively give him a big smooch

definitely a gift-giving love language, but instead of extravagant gifts it's little trinkets that are randomly handed to each other without much context, without even pausing the conversation.

Just hand the other a shiny rock, and continue as if nothing happened.

Speaking of extravagance, Wilbur initially tried to make all these grand gestures and stressed over what to give them (insecurity go brrr) before the reader assured him that he didn't need to make the gifts fancy for them to be appreciated. just give them some pretty seashells and they're happy

gift giving love language is SO fucking cute and i absolutely adore it. wilbur would be so nervous abt giving a gift because he wants to make sure its good!!! he wants it to be something good and worth it, but reader is just like. you could give me a penny you found on the ground, and that alone would be enough for me. it is the sentiment

i feel like the idea that its about the meaning not the object is also something that wilbur needs to focus on, learning that sometimes its the actions not the words, sometimes its the idea and not the material form, etcetc

Alright for very important certainly not fanfiction related reasons i need your opinion on whether Shizuo has a favourite flower and if yes, what do you think it would be?

Ah, yes, definitely not for fanfic reason, gotcha ☆～（ゝ。∂）

But yeah, I do think he has a favorite flower even if he doesn’t consciously think of it as his favorite! Hydrangeas!! They’re very popular in Japan and a staple in park gardens all around Tokyo, so there’s no doubt he’d run into them. I think of park flowers standing out to him especially because his one known hobby is basking in the sun. It gives him a sense of peace, and peace gives him time for contemplation and mindfulness. Like taking time to feel the sun warming his skin, to watch people go about their day, and observe the nature surrounding him. Shizuo likely wouldn’t be interested in anything like flower language, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t think deeply on his own.

The connection I hc Shizuo to make with hydrangeas is that every part of the flower is dangerous, but it’s still treasured. The flower has no proven use beyond its poison, but people still find it beautiful and value that enough to nurture it. Japan has a very lengthy history with them in fact, they were first cultivated there and have been prevalent since before the Heian period.

Also because of their ubiquitous nature it’s easy to see their changeability. Its nickname is nanahenge meaning 'seven transformations' and for good reason. Shizuo could see one shrub of the same hydrangeas turn from pink to blue within a few months, all because the care and cultivation they received changed how they bloomed. Which might resonate with him for certain reasons. (*COUGH*)

And while I can’t see Shizuo as knowing shit about hanakotoba, I'm sure someone (（ゝ。∂）) a little more cultured would be aware of the symbolism behind hydrangea. Specifically pink hydrangeas being associated with genuine emotion because their shape and color resemble a beating heart.

Last neat fact that the biggest hydrangea festival in Japan is in Bunkyo, which is the next door neighbor to Toshima where Ikebukuro is located and is right off the station line, so it could be cute if someone took him there if he they found out about a hypothetical flower preference. Hypothetically.

book 1 tgcf thoughts (as someone who hasn’t read danmei before!)

- im still kinda learning my way thru the terms of the genre but surprisingly i find most of them intuitive and easy to understand! the footnotes help a lot

- i absolutely did not expect this book to be so funny 😭 and the humor translates pretty well even across diff languages! my favorite part is probably the ju wang joke like the set up is so elaborate it just sends me HWBBEBDBF.

- this isn’t a negative take, but im still trying to wrap my head around how time scales in the book?? like duh theyre gods but idk 800 years feels sooo long and its my first time reading a book where the protag and main cast actually are around for that long of a timespan.

- the comedic timing is honestly incredible 😭 the way heavy events r broken up by funny chaotic scenes is well spaced out and it’s a good breather from everything

- xie lian is a really interesting (and funny) narrator!!! im so invested in him as a protagonist and their backstory. i think it’s an interesting choice for this specific part of his life to be how we’re introduced to him, and i somehow feel like i still dont know him at all despite him being the Literal Narrator. very good writing! we also know now that he can be a pretty unreliable narrator based on gilded banquet, so excited to see how that affects the books that focus on his backstory.

- to add, part of why xl is so interesting is because he is somehow involved with every single damn thing so far. banyue arc? yeah he gave some food to some kids. qi rong? thats his COUSIN. gilded banquet? he was somehow involved! crimson rain sought flower? idk what their history is but it’s there! he somehow has personal stakes in every arc.

- hua cheng [sobs]. i get the hype now about mxtx love interests because that is how you Write one! it’s kinda hilarious how xl describes him because he somehow is able to identify every nuance to hc but his romantic feelings for him 😭 which… understandable! i also would not assume a literal ghost king would be in love with him but my god is he obvious about it!!!

- hua cheng deserves a 2nd bullet point! the way he acts around xl, it’s giving quiet but unwavering devotion and i am so curious! to know why he’s like this!! the moments that stand out to me r the ones where he really lets his rage take over, because most of the time… xl is on the receiving end of the transgression. when hc nearly loses his shit @ qr for the statue… wow wow wow

As a dragon fae and a crown prince of a country, Malleus has so much stuff in his possession and he had no qualms of giving them to you as presents, or offerings. He had no shame in telling you over and over again that you deserve the whole world, everything of him and all he could offer. You just need to ask and he would hoard everything you desire like a dragon that he is.

When he sees something that reminds him of you, Malleus won't hesitate to purchase them, or get them no matter how impossible it may seem. Even if it's just a small jewelry in the colour of your eyes or hair, he will get them for you. You might have to tell him to stop eventually, because you won't certainly need them all anyway.

There would also be times when you would wake up in the morning and you'd see a bouquet of your favourite flowers on your doorstep, freshly picked and you were sure that Malleus had blessed them with enough longevity so you could enjoy it until he gave you another bouquet the next week afterwards. 

There was a handwritten letter with his beautiful cursive carefully attached to it, saying that he can't wait to see you tonight for your nightly adventures and how he looked forward to seeing you under the light of a thousand stars.

Receiving | Quality Time

Malleus' life span exceeds yours, and no matter how much he hates thinking about it, he was aware how fleeting your life was compared to his. And thus, he appreciates all the time in the world with you, treasures them and guards them in his memories where you could stay forevermore.

Spending time with him with nothing to worry about is the best day for you and him. No Overblots, no troublemaking friends on the loose, no responsibilities passed onto you by the irresponsible headmageーjust you and him taking your sweet time getting to know each other more.

Malleus doesn't have any qualms in talking to you doing the most mundane of things. You might think that he will grow bored, because he's a prince who has a lot of things to do other than listening to you wasting his time. But the simple stuff he does with you makes his lonely heart soar. He simply enjoys listening to you rambles on about your day, watching you smile at him as you narrate the stupid things you had done with your friends.

Those simple, mundane everyday life is what he treasures the most. And if he could, he would want to preserve them in a place where he could safeguard your memories for centuries to come.

Giving | Physical Touch

Physical touch with Lilia involves a lot of pinching your cheeks together, hugging you to death, kissing you while he's hanging upside down the ceiling, and probably even cuddling in public. No, he was a shameless old man and I stand by this headcanon. Lilia absolutely have no shame in displaying in public how much he adores you (one reason is that its because of the different reactions of your schoolmates, to his unending amusement).

If you voiced out loud that you're uncomfortable with it, he would stop. Though the 'show' of affection in public was averse, that doesn't mean he would cease his ultimate ways of showing his adoration in private. He was still a little shit, but he was your little shit. You were stucked with him and his undying love, he said in a rather dramatic fashion and you would never know if he was serious or not.

Though Lilia seems rather playful, carefree and open to you with his love, physically touching you is also his way of grounding himself in the present. Touching you is his way of telling himself that you were still with him, that you were still alive and next to him, that he could still enjoy the limited time he has with you...

Receiving | Quality Time

Similar to Malleus' case, Lilia had lived his life surpassing yours so it's not entirely weird for him to want you to spend lots of time with him. But unlike Malleus, Lilia does not fear the day you would have to leave him. Though it's not because he does not care for you, no, goodness. So for physical affection, Yuuji’s just that kind of person

He is all about giving to you

He’s holding hands with you if you’re ever walking anywhere, and if you’re not a hand holder pls pls pls let him hold your pinky he likes the reassurance

No but seriously he loves to hold you like yall could be walking in completely opposite directions and he’ll try to find some way to hold onto you until the very last second

He’ll immediately offer to hold your things, run to help you train or study, and if you’re cold? He’s fully prepared to never see his jacket again

Also he can’t cook but he’s fully prepared to suffer hearing Sukuna and suffering through Yuuji’s antics if it means he can learn how to make your favorite food

He also will surprise you by making you a playlist of all the songs that you’ve had stuck in your head and sends it to you randomly out of the blue one day like ‘thought you might like this’

However the best of both worlds is when he leaves you little notes throughout the day or sends you texts asking if you need anything or just encouraging you to keep going

She loves you though and at first she doesn’t really know how to show it 

But one day you both come home from training and you just look at each other like ‘yeah today sucks’ and yall both just held each other for the rest of the day 

After that, she decided that she wants to do that with you but like always

She’s holding your hand, kissing your cheek when you go shopping, etc. etc.

She really loves to cling to you because she always has this fear that maybe one day you’ll get killed or just disappear so she figures might as well hold onto you for as long as we’ve got

After missions, she’s running up to you and if you aren’t prepared for the tackle, you’re probably gonna fall

On dates too, like if you guys have to meet up for a date, she’s tackling you

On the subject of dates...

She doesn’t mind PDA, and while she might hold your hand or arm so that you don’t get separated

She also doesn’t mind wiping food off your face and eating it, only to then kiss the spot on your face the food was previously at

Like she’s super observant (which can cause her to be a bit harsh, see Yuuta) but she can always tell what’s bothering you

So if you’re upset that you haven’t been spending enough time together due to her being out on missions or otherwise busy she’s immediately running to finish her stuff and spend time with you.

((She’s very sorry, but on the bright side she brought your favorites!))

Maki is also an acts of service type

This mostly ties in with her kind of direct action way of thinking

She thinks she’s slick but you can always see her sneaking around to do small things like grabbing your laundry for you and folding it

She’s very much like if you love someone, you gotta prove it

Overall, dates with her are very intimate and personal to the two of you

Like she’ll take you to a frog pond you landed in during a fight once

Or you’ll take her to a street fair that serves this exclusive food that Maki mentioned wanting to try 

However, Maki shows her love through quality time and acts of service and while she does receive love from these to a degree, she is very much a words of affirmation gal

She’s not insecure in her day to day life but she has her moments, everyone does

Sometimes, she’ll feel like shit and a failure and all she wants is for you to say that she’s doing amazing and that she’s a great girlfriend.

Inumaki Toge

Love language: Physical affection

Because of his curse, he can’t exactly express how he feels about you through words

He does text you frequently throughout the day (I’ll have to do a hc abt that someday)

But he’d prefer not to be on his phone to communicate if you’re right in front of him

So he does the next best thing and just smothers you in physical affection

He loves kissing you the most

Like he could spend hours just kissing you if you let him (please let him)

But in public, he gets if you’re not a big fan of pda he’s willing to tone it down as long as he gets kisses later in private

He’d still prefer it if you held his hand or linked pinkies maintaining touch in some way

Also, unrelated, but it means so much to him if you try to understand his sushi language

He knows realistically the foundation of any relationship is communication so already he’s at a disadvantage because of his curse

He loves to spoil you, and if he could he’d probably bring you back a whole store’s worth of stuff

He treasures all the time you spend together, and he does try to overcompensate for his absence with gifts

But he does notice if someone or something’s making you uncomfortable, and if so, said entity’s head will be presented to you later that day

You also just so happen to be the only person he can tolerate being around him for longer than 20 seconds

He also loves to give you jewelry, he likes seeing you adorned in something from him

He also isn’t gonna just handle all your problems for you, he will push you to become stronger by training with you 

He’ll also expect this energy to be reciprocated, as long as you’re pushing yourself to be better, he’s content with that

(He wants to see you grow because he’s scared that if he ever gets caught lackin one day you’ll end up dead)

He’ll never tell you or admit it, but Sukuna truly does care for you and hold you in a regard that he doesn’t have for others

It was obvious, to everyone in their university course, also around campus, that Levi and Y/N totally had a crush on each other.

But Y/N is hesitant, even though though she might have a feeling that Levi might like her too, with the many moments they shared together, the times they went out together after lectures to go to the café, walking her home, watching sunsets together (but, Levi is watching you instead) and talk out their struggles and feelings, always texting and calling her to just at least hear from her everyday, buying her snacks and food to make sure she ate, all the time going out with her to any events, would bend down and tie her shoes for her if he saw undone, and also going to the shopping mall with her to just be by her side when she shopped all around. 

During long trips too or taking the bus to the university, Y/N and Levi would swap seats, she wanted the window and Levi wanted to look at you instead.

Would definitely come over to your place during the days you didn’t eat or make any food, expect him to cook for you and especially clean your place! And you both would spend the evening at the balcony, watching the nightsky and if it was a bit chilly or there was a cold breeze, he would give you his jacket. “Tch, Don't want you catching a cold.”

Everyone at first thought Y/N and Levi were a couple and Levi was just being shy about it to not mention or talk about it. licorice is the closest with dark choco (or as close as you can get), mostly due to some solidarity of self esteem issues and (supposed on licorice’s end) mommy and daddy issues

this is more evident with some sympathy towards the lad whenever pomegranate did the whole memory thing in whichever chapter of darkness it was in kingdoms

so that’s why licorice (also a he/they king but with the added bonus of he/they/it/xey) was named the (best?) wingman

anyways back to relationship stuff and licorice in the background being the best wingman xey can be

dark choco’s love language is acts of service and gift giving! they like to give you flowers (since there isn’t much else he can really do)
