Femme Fatale Guide: Healthy Habits To Look & Feel Your Best Without Restriction or Unrealistic Routines
Realistic ways to maintain a healthy life/body/appearance (size and weight are all personal, not the most important metric – for certain). No diet culture or delulu-land tips here.
What I've done to maintain my 30-pound weight loss for over a decade, glowing clear skin (no pimples or discoloration, etc.), and super healthy, full & shiny hair, still living life and enjoying it – the mindful way.
Eat home-cooked meals & (plant-based) whole foods – 90-95% of the time
Incorporate at least 1 salad into my daily routine (either a large, hearty lunch salad or a simple green salad as a starter with dinner)
Include at least 1 fruit/vegetable in every meal or snack
Never restrict food groups – whole grains/potatoes, healthy fats, protein-rich plant foods, and produce are all essential to consume every day
Focus on meals, but have whole food snack options on hand to enjoy if genuinely hungry (mainly fruit, lupini beans, edamame, carrots/celery/cucumber with hummus, plain popcorn, handful of almonds/cashews)
Have breakfast after one coffee (before a second) and have dinner late enough (8-9:30 pm) to curb late-night hunger
Only have fruit and tea after dinner; Always stop consuming food at least 3 hours before bed for better sleep/digestion
Order whatever I want when going out to eat, but split dessert
Have at least one indulgent meal/dessert per week
No sugary cocktails – wine, champagne/prosecco, martinis, gin & tonic, margarita, French Connection, Sambuca, Grappa, tequila on the rocks, etc. are great options. Bellinis/fruit plus wine/spirits cocktails are a good middle ground. Sugary drinks worsen the hangover – big-time
Perceive healthy eating as a form of enjoyment, creativity, and nourishment, not restriction or deprivation (it's not if done liberally enough)
Consume a vitamin B12 and vitamin D supplement daily. Keep digestive enzymes on hand for when they're necessary
Always have a large glass of water first thing in the morning (before coffee) and by my side all day long
No soda, juices, sugary drinks, etc. Black coffee, tea, and water only on the daily – wine and no-sugar alcoholic drinks on rare occasions. Smoothies can be a great snack or breakfast, though!
Incorporate an (almost) daily walk into my schedule as a form of exercise and a mental health reset (I aim for 4-5 miles/10Kish steps per day on average)
Do short, low-impact strengthen training exercises 3x a week (15-30 mins each usually) for bone health & toning
Never forcing myself to do strenuous exercise/workout formally in a gym – it's not for me; it doesn't make me feel/look better and throws my hunger & energy levels way off. To each their own, though
Have a variety of playlists ready to go for waking up, working, dancing, walking/workouts, doing chores, and reading/relaxing
Internalizing that sexual health is a core aspect of your health & well-being – on all counts
Maintaining a simple skincare routine 2x per week with high-quality products and a couple of weekly treatments
Prioritizing my body care routine with as much as my facial skincare routine
Wearing at least SPF 30 daily
Exfoliating 2-3x per week
Learning what hair products work for my hair type; Using a deep conditioning mask and a scalp mask weekly
Using only cold water when washing my hair
Incorporating face & body massages into my weekly at-home routine
Using Uriage lip balm, hand cream, and deodorant religiously
Flossing 1-2 times a day/using an electric toothbrush

Actually I do think that it's super important to talk about the fact that cutting 500 calories a day for a 1lb a week weight loss is considered "slow" or "moderate" weight loss.
*IF* you can sustain that for a year that is a 52 pound loss in a year, which is pretty fucking fast, actually, but people act like you're a hopeless defeatist if you start talking about weight loss in terms of 1 pound a month because people want *results* but if you're talking about being able to sustain weight loss (which some people just straight up cannot for a variety of reasons and is not reasonable to *expect* everybody to be able to do) then it's kind of fucking bonkers that doctors and the American heart association and diabetes infographics and whatever talk about doing the kinds of diets that typically only last 3-6 months (12-26 pounds at a pound a week) and expect people to maintain those losses.
When you talk to doctors it is extremely reasonable to say "okay, and how, specifically, should I do that?" when they say to lose twenty pounds, but what is ALSO a very reasonable question that I never see brought up is "okay, by when?" and if they say "within the next year" it's also perfectly reasonable to say "why does it have to be in that time period?" Because if we're talking about the benefits of a 5% weight loss for reducing the weight-associated risks of heart disease or diabetes, then losing that weight over five years instead of over six months should be as effective, and is much more likely to be a lasting change instead of something that kicks off a bunch of weight cycling (which has its own terrible side effects that are bad for you).
There are some people for whom, for a number of reasons, it is impossible or near impossible to lose weight in the long term. It is possible for most people to lose weight in the short term, with a significant amount of effort. Maintaining long-term weight loss is exceptionally difficult and it seems like it's not feasible for large numbers of people, and I can't help but wonder if that's because what we're considering 'long term' really isn't long term at all.
If you've spent time around people trying to put on muscle you'll see something that I think is actually a more reasonable approach to long-term body changes, and that is recognition of the fact that you can only put on a (relatively) tiny amount of muscle in a year. For most people who have been training for any length of time, it's between 5-7 pounds and it gets harder to put on more the longer you've trained. Lifters and bodybuilders who recognize this and still want to put on muscle understand that they are in for an extremely long-term project that they have to intentionally maintain and put a lot of effort toward.
I want you to think about anyone you know who is a serious gym rat. I want you to think about how many hours a week they spend in the gym, and what they're giving up in exchange for that time. I want you to think about how much they spend on equipment and gym memberships and protein powder and first aid and very specific foods. If you know someone who's a very serious gym rat, you probably think they're a little unreasonable, that that's too much effort to put into looking good in a tank top.
But that's pretty analogous to the kind of effort, planning, and expense that needs to be put into maintaining a long term weight loss. And that effort needs to be put in forever - no matter if you're having kids or your partner is hospitalized or if your financial situation changes or if you are permanently injured, just like a bodybuilder can't expect to keep their gains if they're suddenly spending ten hours a week at the hospital instead of the gym.
I mean, people talk about weight loss and they get angry when you bring up the statistical failure of things like Weight Watchers or if you discuss how destructive dieting can be and they go "so, what, are you saying it's impossible to lose weight?" And the answer is, no, not for everyone.
It is possible for most people to lose weight. Just like it's possible for most people to become competitive bodybuilders. But we frame "mid-30s mother with two kids and a long commute and a full time job needs to lose 10 pounds and keep if off" as a task with a difficulty curve similar to learning how to cook a few crockpot meals, not similar to becoming a competitive bodybuilder.

things i’ve learned in 14 years of ed life and need to remind myself every once and awhile: (really it’s been almost 18, but the most severe years were between the ages of 14-28)
1. don’t set a date to lose weight by. you’ll sabotage yourself. instead, set a goal weight, and a plan to meet that goal, and give yourself time to meet it.
2. don’t punish yourself for slipping and eating. you’re human. you need food to survive. you’re starving yourself. you’re going to break your fast one day. or “forget” you’re restricting one day because you saw something that looked sooo damn good and you ate it without even realizing. you’re going to go over your calorie limit once and awhile. you’re going to binge. it’s inevitable.
3. learn how to curb the binges. just cause you start, doesn’t mean it’s too late to stop. if you eat 100 calories, don’t turn it into 1000. you can burn off the extra 100-500cals way easier than 5000.
4. learn your triggers. avoid them.
5. just exercising doesn’t work well. just starving yourself doesn’t work well. you need to restrict AND work out. seriously. the results are in and i just lost 35lbs in 3 months. like my drs MA that weighed me saw the red line and exclamation mark that i’d lost 20% of my body weight in 3 months and she flipped out. my weight loss has slowed a little the last 2-3 weeks and it’s 100% because i stopped exercising as much when school started. i usually walk 3 miles every morning on the track after i drop my son off at daycare. it’s my lifeline. if i don’t walk the track every morning now i get super pissy, shit gets bad, and i either gain weight or plateau. restricting and working out work wayyyy better if you do them together.
6. drink water! i know everyone says this. but everyone says this for a reason. it keeps your tummy full so you eat less food, it helps flush everything out, it helps keep your digestive system running, it helps keep your face clear, it helps keep the headaches down, it helps you lose weight… water is just super good for you and you should drink it. but don’t drink too much. if you dilute your body too much, you can kill yourself. literally. if you drink too much water (e.g. 2-3 gallons in under an hour) you’ll die. so don’t drink that much. but, ya know… a gallon, or a gallon and a half spread out over a day is good.
7. allow yourself a treat every once and awhile. not a binge. not an unhealthy treat. it doesn’t even have to be a food treat. but give in once and awhile. get your nails done, take a fun class, make something, draw something, have an ice cream cone. do give yourself the opportunity to indulge in something. or else you become bitter and resentful.
8. once a week, up your calories by at least 200-500. it’ll kickstart your metabolism and you’ll lose weight faster. just don’t keep up the higher calorie count for more than ONE DAY or you’ll start gaining again. but one of those days every couple weeks is great to avoid a plateau.
9. when your clothes start getting really baggy, buy a smaller size. there’s nothing quite as rewarding as going from a large to a small. i just made the switch a few weeks ago and it’s amazing.
10. feel your b0ne3. rub your hands over your r1b3, your h1pb0n3s, your c0llarb0n3s look at your thigh gap.. get on tumblr, look at th1nsp0, it’ll keep you motivated.
11. take lots of pictures. it’s great to look back and see the progression from fat and gross to being skinny and beautiful 🥰
12. stay safe ♥️
all pics in this post are me ☺️

🌀 Ring 🌀
• Guess I should put this old journal I got to good use this year! Maybe just day to day worries or fun stuff that happened!
Oh! Speaking of fun for a first entry, I got a letter in the mail and it was my great aunt! Said she was clearing out her attic and found this gorgeous ring, and she sent it over to me! It fits absolutely perfectly, I can’t wait to go out to dinner with it tonight!
• Why does everyone keep saying I look… bigger?
I mean, I’ve just been wearing this new ring, and it’s a little tight sure
And I feel fine
People keep saying I look… fuller?
Is that a compliment? It must be, right!
Right?
• Ok so it’s been a couple days and
I maybe sorta see what people mean…
It’s only been a week and I’ve put on like 10 pounds!
I have no clue how I’ve been eating like normal I swear!
Maybe I should go on that diet I keep talking about doing… it’s still the new year after all
• Wow ok uh, summertime really snuck up on me this year but uh… guess my partner, I mean, ex-partner, wasn’t too happy that I’ve gained, like, nearly 50 pounds this year. I uh, got so winded when we were.. trying stuff together, he said it was a “turn off”… but honestly it just made me more excited. I’ve been getting like that a lot recently, maybe with how my thighs are touching all the time, and the fact I’ve gone up 5 pant sizes has been driving me… what am I saying??
Anyway, His loss though! I’ve been doing everything right! I’ve been dieting, working out, taking the stairs at work, I just… I keep putting on more weight? God this is really hurting my head. When’s my takeout coming?
• Heyyyy diary! Back again, and uhh, I think I’ve gotten kinda.. fat. Oooh feels weird to admit that, everyone keeps saying I’m fat at work! Well, they did before they “fired” me after I ate out the refrigerator, again. And, like, I’ve definitely put on weight. A lot a lot of weight.. idk what’s bigger than 100? That much! But I promise I’m doing everything these stupid diet plans say to do, and my belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger and…
Wow I’m getting super hungry again...
• Diary! I always forget to write in this stupid thing, but my new partner found it while cleaning to go live at their place, and I’m so excited with all the holidays coming! I’m, like, way too big to live on my own now, moving is so hardddd, I’m a big pig! 550 pounds is.. big right? Or.. is it… god I’m starving again, hope my darling gets back soon from getting food. Hang on, did this ring always used to be so shiny… it’s pretty.. and really, like, pink!
• My partner feeds me lots!! I’m soooo happie! They say I’m their, like, good piggy! And it’s soooo hott! I wannas be fatter… way way fatter, I’m so hungry, partner is feeding me as I write this! They even got me a new ring to go with my old one!! And I… I… did I always used to think about food so much? I… wasn’t this fat a year ago. What happened? I… oh god did the ring… Make… me…
Hehe~
What’em I saying? I love food! I wanna be soooo so much fatter, it’s not enough. I gots to be fatter
I gotta eat
I need to be fatter…
So… much fatter…

My ed girly with PCOS gym routine :)
As someone with PCOS I found that doing cardio and high intensity workouts didn’t work for me at all, I never saw any weight loss and always felt exhausted after leaving the gym. Instead, I did some research and implemented a few of the methods of other people with PCOS’s workout routines into my own. Having a routine planned and prepared before I even enter the gym is so useful to me, it really eases my anxiety and it keeps me motivated, so I thought I’d share my silly little low-intensity but still effective workout routine for my girlies who struggle with insulin resistance and PCOS :)
Warmup:
5 minutes on the treadmill; incline of 4 at 2.8km/hr
Main workout:
Leg extension 4 x 12 (I started at 20lbs to make sure my form was correct before increasing the weight, ended my set at 40lbs)
Leg press 4 x 12 (again, starting at a lower weight and increasing once I’m certain that my form is correct, ended my set at 60lbs)
Calf press 4 x 12 (30lbs)
Seated row 4 x 12 (30lbs)
Shoulder press 4 x 12 (30lbs)
Chest press 4 x 12 (30lbs)
Diverging lat pulldown 4 x 12 (20lbs)
Cooldown:
Do whatever works best for you, personally I find that stretching and moving my joints helps to ease any pains I may get. I’d say the most important part for me is doing squared breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat) throughout the entire cooldown as this lowers the heart rate and blood pressure.
——————————————————————————————————————
Remember to drink water, stay hydrated!! The most important thing you can do for your body when working out is drinking water so that your muscles are able to work as they should, dehydration can cause you to pull a muscle which hurts like a bitch.
Also, remember to eat (as much as you probably don’t want to) because your body needs food to create energy in order to workout. Whether you eat before or after the workout is up to you, but even something small like a protein bar will help you get through the workout without feeling super low energy and feeling like giving up. Being able to do low-intensity workouts for a longer amount of time is equally as effective, if not more so, than doing a 30 minute high-intensity workout and feeling completely burnt out and exhausted by the end of it.
Stay safe and enjoy yourselves, exercising is for everyone, regardless of shape and size and you can do this!
(Reminder that this is my own personal opinion and what I find helps me the most, I’m not a professional so don’t rely on this advice as 100% accurate. These are all just things that I myself have tried and found are beneficial to me.)

Hi there, you were asking about Ozempic in the Ozempic tag and wanted to know if anyone had personal experience with it. I have and I'd be happy to share with you! I've been on it a few months now. I used to have an eating disorder. I'd be super restrictive with my calories for a couple of weeks at a time, trying to lose weight because I was obese, but then I'd give in and binge and be worse off than I was before. The best way I can describe Ozempic is that it's like food doesn't matter anymore. I used to think about it constantly. Whether that was in a dieting way, or a bingy "I want to eat a whole box of donuts now now now now" way. Like, I'd be at work, trying to negotiate with myself in my head about getting fried chicken on the way home. But from the very first shot of Ozempic it's like that little voice that always talks about food just went quiet. I no longer count calories, and I no longer binge, I just eat healthy food until I'm full, and I feel satisfied. I've lost weight, but the peace of mind was the best part. I've had a box of cookies next to my bed on my bedside table for 5 days and I have eaten one cookie from the box that whole time. I'll go to a fast food place and get a medium meal and be happy with it, I'll eat one chicken and salad wrap and feel full for lunch. I'm no longer starving myself to lose weight, nor binging. For the first time in my life, I forgot to eat lunch at work, it was like 4pm and I realized I hadn't taken my lunch break yet and I finally realized what people meant when they said "oh I forgot to eat". These skinnier people don't suffer for their weight, they feel like this, they feel more satiated when they eat. Feeling like this, eating a normal, healthy amount of food seems normal and doable. Not an impossible struggle. There are some side effects like queasiness and you have to make sure you eat lots of protein and stay hydrated, but if you have a problem with "food noise" and snacking it's wonderful for that. Slow, steady weight loss has had the bonus effect of making me feel better about my body. People keep talking about it like it's an eating disorder in a shot, but I feel differently. It feels like it got rid of mine. I hope this helps. If you are interested, 100% talk to your doctor, they might be willing to start you off on a very low dose so you can see if it's right for you.
Oh my god thankyouu so much. This is so helpful. I have binge ed and I know exactly what you’re talking about that little voice in my head always talking about food.
I have tried restricting and it always leads to burnout and binging after. I just want something to end this addiction for me.
I was worried about the nausea and bloating, but I think those things can be manageable. I will definitely bring it up with my doctor.

For all those out there who have a hard time resisting food and especially beginners;
You don't have to super heavily restrict. Work out, burn calories, in any way.
I lost 1.8kg (4lbs) in 5 days while eating between 1000-1600kcal. Thing is- I burned 600 or more everyday. I was out with friends and suddenly walked over 5 hours every day.
I've been feeling physically hungry 24/7 despite eating.
And this has so many benefits, honestly. It helps you keep your social life, it helps you lose weight, it helps boost your metabolism, if you struggle with restriction you don't have to worry as much, and you don't even have to force yourself to properly work out because you're just walking.
Yes, I know it's a lot of time, and it probably won't work as well for the adults in this community, and obviously it'll get harder to burn that much the lower your weight gets, but I feel it's still worthy to speak on.
Summed up; work out or just walk. It burns kcal and boosts metabolism. Ease yourself into it. Don't force it if you can't walk for that long, balance it, and slowly do more, and eventually while walking also start restricting more and more. And voilà, weight loss.

(tw rant and irrational thoughts, pls always be nice to people!)
whenever someone brings up food or weight loss it literally ruins my day. like please that’s my one thing. it’s MY thing. no i dont want to hear how getting the flu made you lose 5 pounds. i do not want to hear abt your “super hard” diet that is more food then i eat in a week, while having to pretend to be sympathetic. like why can’t people just leave me alone to ⭐️ve in my room is that so hard?

3/9/24
I survived the funeral and all the peopling it required.
Here is my food for today. I did get a couple dog walks in, but no real "cardio". I felt drained so I took a nap. Got up and finished my book: Waisted by Randy Susan Meyers
Book summary: 7 women of mixed backgrounds go to a weight loss mansion. They realize they are getting fed amphetamines and that the film makers are working on a different project than they are told.
Kinda like the show, The Biggest Loser but book form, with an ending that ends with most women being thinner but focusing on body positivity.
I got this book because it leapt out at my the 1 time I was in my local library because they just changed their hours to close at 7 pm instead of 5 pm. For Cripes sake...it was my major pet peeve because I moved back here 5 fucking years ago and could never use the library.
So what are my thoughts? Rambling thoughts from a lonely, socially isolated person in search of connection and meaning that isn't caustic or traumatic:
I understand that thin privilege exists. The way people treat me now is different than how people treated me 120 pounds heavier. I have the same heart. I care about people very deeply, still. I just look better because I am eating less and moving more.... Yada Yada Yada.
I was lucky enough to not have a mom that criticized my body, but my dad did- constantly. His sisters were between 100-120 pounds. I hit that by 7th grade! That is also close to when the dieting started for me.
In 9th grade I was about 135-140 when I had a leg injury that didn't heal. I gained almost 20 pounds in a couple months and I never got it off after that.
By my junior year I was in the 170's. He tried to manipulate my weight class and had me eat more all summer only to realize that we couldn't jump weight classes like that so I had to crash diet from 210 to 176 in like 3 weeks. It was torture.
After that I spent some time focused on other things in High school that I had never gotten to do before.
By sophmore year of college I was 210 or higher. 220 by the time I started dating. After I got a sit down job I spiked to 240 and it was impossible to get below that for the most part, even with some severe dieting and regular exercise.
And over the year, working a desk job, you gain if your output and input don't align... as mine obviously didn't. I was eating too much. I dealt with a partner who was a diet saboteur and I did a lot of stress related emotional eating (job shit).
But realistically I was also unable to maintain a calorie deficit in a sustainable way. So the diet culture mentally that didn't help me were things like the "last meal" concept.... because the "diet starts tomorrow." "I'm on vacation" & "Cheat" meals were also bad ones. Being in party mode and over drinking was another terrible one. I would drink 4+ cocktails and eventually eat a fuckton of greasy food to cover it up... (and often puke in the process. Like I said OVERDRINKING). Using exercise to offset overeating was another one. I may think of more later.... but also having lots of junky foods in the house and going out to eat constantly didn't help.
I feel like I am doing good on my current trajectory. Healthier and healthier every day. I am super excited for this process to end tho.... it is starting to feel like "Will it ever end?"
I had some vegetables and a half sandwich at the funeral luncheon also. But here is from the lunch at a sushi/Ramen place on...
I mentioned I took a nap right? And I am about to cook dinner.

I got sucked into playing Oxygen Not Included again and now it’s living rent free in my brain like the boys. Enjoy these extremely specific headcanons on them playing base building/resource management/colony sim games.
Sky - He plays like a normal person. Does his best to make his base thrive but makes all the beginner mistakes. His second attempt is way way better but nothing crazy. Never gets too deep into the mechanics. Only plays for a few hours and eventually stops because someone starts backseat playing.
Wild - Chaos. His base is somehow drowning, on fire, in the middle of a drought and freezing. All at once. Literally nothing is working and his little guys are all dying to death. His second attempt is not any better. Nor is his third. He’s not good at micromanaging and constantly tries to build things that are way too big and wayyyy too resource heavy and it ends up killing him. He was super into building a really cool hot tub/massage room and neglected to make sure his guys have oxygen. But he’s having fun so it’s all good
Champion - Is on top of everything. Reads the entire in-game encyclopedia before he even starts the game so he knows everything he needs to. His base is very spartan but at least nothings on fire. Enjoys the challenge of planning ahead and creative problem solving.
Twilight - Gets way too invested in the little creatures. Creates a whole big ranch and makes the place really, really nice for his pets. His people are vegan and he lets his base starve to death because he can’t bring himself to eat his animals. But also mourns the loss of every one of his people. It’s a heartbreaking game for Twilight. He prefers games when he can pet the animals, not eat them.
Warriors - Base building isn’t his preferred genre but he gives it a try anyway. Aesthetics before anything is his playstyle. His base works well enough but he does surrender some efficiency to make it pretty. Dresses up all his little guys and gives them snazzy clothes. But he loses interest pretty fast and goes to bother Sky.
Hyrule - His base is a mess of hallways and ladders. No real central area because he just want to expand and see what’s out there. Is a real explorer. He ends up accidentally opening up his base to the cold vacuum of space and kills everyone.
Legend - Hates that he’s constantly running out of resources. If it’s not air then it’s water, and if it’s not water it’s food, and if it’s not food it’s space, and if it’s not space it’s fucking air again! He curses up a storm every time something goes wrong. Which is all the time.
Four - Spreadsheets. Lots and lots of spreadsheets. Sixty hours in and his base is ten miles long with a ridiculously convoluted yet effective HVAC system that abuses every game mechanic to be self sustaining. Runs on things like giving his base contaminated food to give them food poisoning to make them vomit so he can refine that vomit back into clean water to offset the moisture entropy. A monster of efficiency. Four loves building games where there are calculable data sets and realistic physics. Can and will play this game forever is no one stops him.
Wind - He streams it and names his colony members after viewers. Uses console commands to do crazy things like spawn in 100 colonists and summons meteor showers to spice things up. He’s pretty decent and he actually learns to to use the convoluted automation mechanics. Also mods. Lots and lots of mods.
Time - His base dies immediately. This old man never got more advanced than Pong and so when he is confronted with a game in which the density and weight of different gasses is important he can’t handle it. He accidentally digs down and his whole colony suffocates on carbon dioxide within 5 minutes. He puts the game down and never plays again.
Dark - Only plays for a bit before he stops. Even though it’s just simulation he doesn’t enjoy the strange sense of claustrophobia it gives him. He’ll happily watch Twi play it though.
Shadow - He logs into Fours game and disconnects one (1) wire somewhere in the base.

Ya'll liked my other post about Levi liking overweight people so it got me thinking. Again.
(Sorry for any errors, I'm a bit sleepy lol)
Disclaimer: I actually never watched/read Aot but I somehow got attached to the characteristics so this is my interpretation of how I understand the characters ok?
Hange would be elated to have an overweight s/o. Why? Because they're always really excited about new things and working in the military they never really interacted with someone that wasn't as solid as a brick house.
I think they'd find the softness of your body fascinating and will totally faceplant on your stomach when you're laying down. Will sing praises about how comfy your tummy is. Will probably fall asleep on you.
If you're self conscious and tell them to tone it down, they'll be baffled.
"Self conscious? But…you're so squishy, I love it."
(If you are uncomfortable for other reasons they'll try to back down)
Loves the fact that they can just…. burrow against your side and doze.
Will sometimes appear by your side just to squish your cheeks or gently pinch your sides with a manic smile.
*
I think Erwin wouldn't mind an overweight s/o…simply put he doesn't seem like someone that cares about that kind of stuff. If you mesh well together then it's all he needs, no matter if you're 5 kgs or 50 kgs overweight.
Another one that will doze on you and say that you're the best pillow he ever had.
Just…let him rest on your lap. He needs it.
Since he's the Commander, people always gossip behind his back. He doesn't mind if they criticise him, but they better not be speaking ill of you.
Levi had to personally hold him back to prevent him from killing the last person that insulted you because of your weight.
Will caress your stretch marks and kiss them.
Loves to squish your softest spots but will resist the urge unless it's just you too cuddling (unlike Hange).
*
Reiner needs a hug and if you're big then there's more for him to hug.
Will 100% hug you like a teddy bear while sleeping.
If you ever get self conscious he'd be like "???? But you're a beauty????".
Genuinely confused.
Probably likes to lift you up in his arms like you weigh nothing. Getting to carry you around bridal style is low-key what fuels his training.
Will probably try to suffocate himself between your thighs.
*
Bertholdt feels like a sweetheart that will practice cooking your food until he's satisfied with the results.
I feel like he'd treat you like royalty.
Loves hugging you from behind and rest his head on your shoulder.
He's gangly and thin and I feel like he'd be self conscious about it, preferring your softness to his sharp edges.
*
Porco doesn't see a problem in you being overweight. He's fit enough for you both.
Will show off how strong he is by lifting you up while hugging you.
Also you better better make peace with the fact that he'll want you sitting on his lap most of the time. (not like that)
Will 100% scoff if you get worried you're too heavy for him.
"Please. You're as light as a feather"
If anyone insults you they'll find themselves with a broken nose and a few teeth less.
*
Bonus Levi again because I can and I said so:
Levi will low-key panic if he see you lost weight. To him, weight loss is a sign of stress, illness or lack of food. And he can't permit any of these things to be happening to you.
He's super observant so he'll probably be able to see your change in weight quite quickly.
He'll work himself into a frenzy until you gain the weight you lost or show him you're fine.

my motivation
♡ eating something a little bit after a workout session is okay. you continue to burn extra calories throughout the day after a workout.
♡ keeping tabs of EVERYTHING. finding a cute journal, whether its digital or not, and making it aesthetically appealing is super helpful into not giving in. write or draw what you're feeling, make a checklist, document your food and measurements. it makes everything more motivating.
♡ one day of binging or going over your calorie limit is not the end of the world. hold yourself accountable and do better the next day.
♡ fasting is key to successful weight loss. incorporate at least two full days of fasting into your week. if its hard, then try intermittent fasting or omad.
♡ just because the scale went up .5 lbs does not mean to give up or binge. you may just be bloated or might be having an off day. drink water, tea, or exercise.
♡ don't constantly check the scale. give yourself a certain day so you can actually be able to see progress. (ex.) every friday, take body check pics and stand on the scale.
♡ if you want a bag of doritos over a piece of fruit or rice cake, then you're not hungry.
♡ any amount of physical activity is better than nothing. if you don't want to do an hour long workout, then find something that's 5-10 minutes to still fulfill your goal. even consistently walking around the house for 20 minutes straight is enough.
♡ always keep your candy jar full. a simple lollipop or mint could stop all of your cravings (a plus for energy).

A few updates
I've been losing weight even without calorie counting!! I've been eating at least 1 meal with another person just to make the weight loss seem natural (That's why my progress has been slower but it's still progress!!
I'm at 125 lbs rn so only 5 lbs (2 kg) more to go until I'm at my first Gw!!
I'll probably keep going after reaching my first gw since my thighs r still huge, but I took my measurements a few days ago and there's a big difference already!!
I'll probably do another challenge in 1-2 weeks when my parents are on vacation :)
I'm really proud, yesterday I gave some of my food to the guy I'm seeing rn and he ate it but told me I need to eat more slohsel
I've been thinking about bodychecks but I'm kinda scared of creeps lol (and I'm insecure)
My hunger cues have changed a lot since I started a month ago, I only eat because I'm with people or because I can feel my energy level changing. When I eat 1500 kcal I feel super full and like I overate but I'm still in a deficit ahhhh!!
And also one way to stop my cravings: Whenever I'm not hungry but wanna eat something, I step on the scale (I wont want to eat until I see my gw)

The part of the Iron Wall who bears the burden of ace and new captain!!
Total pages in guidebook: 2
*AS ALWAYS I’m still learning the language and cannot guarantee complete accuracy!
Tumblr media
2012 Stats
Team: Date Tech High School (Class 2-A)
Height / Weight: 184.2cm / 71.5kg
Birthday: 10 November 1995
Position: wing spiker, captain
Siblings: one younger sister
Favorite Food: sour gummies
Current Concern: He has to get his wisdom teeth pulled
Nuts & Bolts: Power 4/5 – Jumping 4/5 – Stamina 3/5 – Game Sense 3/5 – Technique 3/5 – Speed 4/5
Jersey Number: 6 → 2
Tumblr media
2018 Stats
Team: VC Date (Municipal Team)
Height / Weight: 186.6cm / 76.5kg
Position: outside hitter
Current Concern: He has to get a filling done on his right molar [bby 🥺]
Note from Sensei: He’s the type to put off dealing with unpleasant things and regret it later!
Nuts & Bolts: Serve 8/10 – Serve Reception 7/10 – Digging 6/10 – Setting 6/10 – Spike 6/10 – Block 8/10
Jersey Number: 6
Tumblr media
Ability
Breaking the opponent’s receive formation with his power serve
Both his play and commentary during matches work to pull the entire team. Dateko’s heavy hitter can send out an intense serve with both power and speed, allowing his team to execute the perfect serve & block technique. He’s still uneasy about maintaining control, but it has become Dateko’s newest weapon.
Super intense spikes against opponent blocks
Ever since his second year, he has had a high scoring ability as Dateko’s ace. His skill is a yet underdeveloped, rising potential in battle. Being paired with Koganegawa’s toss, his ability to coordinate is also quite high.
Tumblr media
Personality
Lots of cheeky remarks at his senpai’s expense
A problem child who openly acknowledges his own twisted personality and provocative attitude. But despite the jabs, Futakuchi’s senpai respect him. He absolutely hates to lose, and looks on with disdain when he watches other schools in play. [specifically it says he clicks his tongue 🙃]
Tumblr media
Caption: Raising his crudeness-level is also a strategy to agitate Kamasaki?! [His dialogue here literally and figuratively reads very tongue-in-cheek. He tends to drop certain syllables and it has a specific tone]
Tumblr media
Memorable Quotes
“We’re usually the cocky problem children off the court, so at least during our matches let’s act like good kouhai.” (Chapter 45)
“Doesn’t matter. Age, grade, position, none of that matters once you step onto the court.” (Chapter 121)
Tumblr media
“Let’s put pressure on our opponents in various ways! Break their hearts! But be sneaky about it so the refs don’t notice! If we can’t do it in practice, we won’t be able to do it in a game!” (above, Chapter 223)
Caption: Seemingly inspiring his teammates like a captain, but his true intentions…?
Tumblr media
Timeline
2012: Shouldering the wills of the third-year students to build a new iron wall!
Futakuchi, who leads the team and is at a loss with his kouhai. At the practice match with Karasuno, by using their bunch read blocking in the new iron wall that they’ve built up, Dateko was able to show their strengths.
2018: The V.League arc
Works for a local energy company, Tsunenaga Seiki Tech [name isn’t actually stated in the guidebook but it was revealed recently 😝] and is an outside hitter for VC Date. Even though he’s now a company employee, he went to the Adlers v. Black Jackals match in Miyagi, together with Aone, who is still his teammate. 💚
