Dopamine foods are foods that; without warning, a food suddenly will be attached to a Dopamine rush, but then, after an undetermined time will abruptly stop and become borderline/actually inedible.
(ex. Fruit loops will be normal, then the next time you eat it the taste/texture/smell/ect will be VERY VERY GOOD. This will continue for an undetermined amount of time, but then the next time you eat them they will feel/taste/smell/ect horrendous/disgusting and it will be a negative experience/impossible to eat them.)
Please share! I'm very curious to see as many people's answers as possible! 😁

do NOT shame people, especially autistics for liking "plain" food. a lot of autistics us too need to eat same/safe foods and usually they're not spicy or anything like that. they're usually sweet or plain with a bit of salt for us. some people can not handle spicy stuff. some autistics don't like it sensory wise, and that's okay. when Bug and other parts are sensory seeking at times we go for spicy food. and that's okay. stop judging and making fun of peeps who don't eat spicy food

shoutout to autistic people whose safe foods are fast food, organic, hard to obtain, difficult to prepare, expensive, or otherwise seen as an inconvenience to others, especially if you can't eat anything but safe foods. we don't choose what foods our brains let us eat.

not usual content but if you’re in the UK and missing McNuggets cuz of the boycott for Palestine (yes I know they’re trash food but they’re a safe or comfort food for a lot of ppl esp with autism like me and bf) Heron Foods (discount/surplus food store) has totally not frozen McNuggets available as x sell battered chicken nuggets pictures so you can see the exact shapes/textures of them are the same
