To my girlies (and boys) who wanna lose weight I've got a tip for you so you can feel full without having to overeat. Before eating always drink water, drink as much as u can. if you can drink an entire bottle of water go on it will help you feel bloated and you will feel full really quick plus most people that starv3 die from dehydration and drinking before each meal can prevent it and last if you feel like you wanna eat even though u are fast1ng drink an entire bottle of water (until you feel bloated) it will give you the same feeling as when u over3at and then you feel disgusted by food.

really friendly reminder that when you eat that "low cal zero fat zero sugar" packaged snack thinking that it's gonna help you lose weight, what you're really eating is a bunch of chemicals that are slowly but surely destroying your appetite regulators and leading you to one binge after another.
there's no UPF out there that will help you lose weight because the literal goal of every single UPF is to get you to eat more and more. they are literally designed with the goal of bypassing your natural regulators and make you literally addicted.
if you're often binging or craving food even after you ate, you're probably eating fake food that your body is not processing as food, only tastes. your obsession with keeping everything low cal is leading you to eat more.
the food industry literally uses the word "moreishness" to describe the feeling they want to achieve in their fake food.
they are targeting you and trying to get you hooked in the same way a heroin dealer would.
(except that sugar is more addictive than heroin, and there are no ads for heroin on tv, social media and pretty much everywhere you look, and you can't buy heroin in any amount you want at any convenience store or market.)
it's not your fault that you can't stop eating.
it's the food industry that is actively turning you into an addict. they're selling you drugs and calling it food. they're gunning for you because they know that you'll eat a bunch of substances you can't even pronounce right as long as it says "low cal" or "zero sugar zero fat" on the front of the pack.
the food industry knows you're vulnerable, and they're exploiting it.
boycott ultra-processed foods, boycott fast food chains, boycott junk food, stop leaving your most basic human need to the hands of greedy executives who know they're ruining our lives. learn how to cook, read about actual nutrition rather than just dieting, let go of the idea that all calories are the same and all that matters is their number, and stop putting addictive unknown substances in your body.
AND YES THAT GOES FOR DIET COKE TOO!

my tips for restricting: notes from my intake log from october when i lost 10 lbs without trying:
1. aim for 0 calories, all the time, in any situation.
if this is going to be your absolute #1 goal, you need to think like it is. restriction and motivation need to be on your mind 24/7. this way you can never be caught off guard when tempted by food, or lose focus. i remember repeating "food is the enemy" in my head when i was about to get a snack.
2. keep your eating habits SIMPLE! do not complicate things. do not make decisions that depend on future you.
never say, "well, i'll still be under my limit" or "i'd have enough time to burn it off so might as well" because then you end up getting a ride instead of walking or being offered a snack and then suddenly you're completely off track and ready to lose control and binge.
3. make 1/3 of the food you eat "comfort food"
a decent part of the food i ate was some form of comfort food because my family are all fat americans. (i dont mean junk food, like cheeseburgers milkshakes poptarts etc) i think this helped me out because it gets rid of emotional hunger which is something i struggle with now. living off the stereotypical ana diet of almonds, black coffee, rice cakes, cucumber, cream cheese, dark chocolate and hardboiled eggs is only going to make you crave "bad" foods more. plus only eating cold foods makes you feel sad and bored. there's plenty of them, but my fav warm low cal comfort foods are:
campbells chunky chicken noodle soup (110 per cup, 220 per whole can) v filling and delicious, heat it up
bibigo (i think?) chicken and cilantro dumplings (i dont remember but theyre really low for dumplings)
4. weigh yourself every few days. don't get fixated on the number going down by specific increments, just make sure the general slope is downwards.
if you want to lose faster, restrict harder. getting fixated on numbers instead of eating habits is a great way to stop losing weight. i know it's exciting to calculate how much you'll lose eating 400 a day for a week but you are so much better off limiting your math to cal counting and unit conversion.
5. don't switch up your mindset!
only recently have i started losing my motivation often and switching between cal limits and diets and high res to low res. this leads me to binging and feeling out of control. i would recommend not dieting but always trying to get lower and lower "scores". don't worry about the abc diet or the get worse diet etc etc, just starve on your own and listen to your body (not too often though)
remember, discipline means sticking to what your plan says, not what your brain says!

one tip that i recommend to anyone who’s trying to lose weight is to cut out atleast 1 food group ex: i stopped eating beef i still eat chicken and turkey but when i cut out beef and pork and stuff it helped me lose weight. i never stick to diets but this has stuck w me for awhile now and im gonna cut out dairy soon too! idk why but when i decided to stop eating meat it helped me stick to my other diets and i dont binge or overeat anymore. its also less suspicious to others when u under eat while openly having cut out a food group.
