one of the best realizations I have had as I have grown up is how amazing it is to show up for the people you love, unashamedly and unapologetically. show up to their classical music productions when you don't know anything about that kind of music, their chemistry club meetings when you are a literature student and don't know anything about chemistry but your bestie is doing cool experiments with copper sulphate, the very alluring blue portion you were tempted to drink in school cause it looked so magical. show up when they wake up from a long nap and have missed dinner and are feeling shitty, make them maggi and get them their fave chocolate. show up when they rant about animal documentaries excitedly and listen when they tell you the plot of jujustu kaisan at 4 am during exam week. take a walk with them at 11 pm in night because they told you you have no classes tomorrow so come down (it's their emotionally suppressed way of saying I miss you). cuddle with them to sleep because they are scared of thunderstorms. make them an art piece and write them a love letter for their birthday to show them you love them so much and you will never stop probably and that scares you sometimes but their presence will reassure you always. I know you know that they know that you love them but when you gift them your "an incomplete list of things you love about them" in your shitty handwriting they will smile and cry and choke you in a hug for 5 mins, it will be a smile spilling out of the sun and it'll be so worth it always. reply to their messages of hey "your name" except your name gets weirder and weirder cause they are bored and miss you and wanna talk and even if you are busy and tired , do return some of their affection with a small message that yes, you missed them too even though you are too tired to express. give them your fave drawing and you'll see how they have hung it up on their cork board in their dorm room. tell them to spam their earring collections and marvel over their strawberry earrings. send them a video message when they send you their jiggly caramel pudding video because omg they can cook now and you are so happy for them that you want to portal through the phone and hug them (you're gonna give them a recipe notebook for their birthday). let them rant on the phone while you fold your laundry, it's manageable mostly.

there are days when you can't show up and it's okay and they'll understand, most people who love you do, they should. but gosh, putting in effort in any relationship isn't that the best thing? because they are not just worth your love, the point of worth never even comes cause they are the very meaning of love. because God remember what Miyazaki said when you love someone you inspire each other to live and grow even when you recognize how hard living is. growing is difficult but you love growing with them.

I used to think I love people too much but you know what they love me too much too. so when someone asked richard siken what do you do when you love someone too much he said congratulate yourself. and today I am congratulating myself cause I know the loves of my life are doing that too.

↪ Kaido takes a liking to your Tamagotchi and secretly babies it like he would an actual human baby. He talks to it in an "UwU" voice and sleeps with it beside his pillow.

↪ When you come back, he proudly gives you the Egg of Discord back with a smirk before asking very shyly for a hug because he missed you a whole lot.

Kuboyasu Aren:

↪ Since he wants to make friends and pass as a regular teenager, Aren gladly accepts to look after your virtual pet (it might also be because he has a big fat crush on you, who knows).

↪ He carries it everywhere to hear it ring and make sure it does not die on him. He wouldn't want to upset you after all!

↪ If anyone makes fun of him for carrying a toy around, he will scar them for life, either mentally or physically. No one will say anything negative about your precious little angel under his watch.

↪ He is not a fan of the constant ringing, but he couldn't even bring himself to throw it against the nearest wall when Kuchipatchi suddenly shit itself in the middle of the night. How sweet <3

↪ He will hand it back to you alive and well for sure! He was careful with it and defended its honor until the very last second.

Teruhashi Kokomi:

↪ Little Miss Kokomi gladly agrees to watch over your little one. It is not like she likes you or anything! It really is just because she has an image to keep up! D-Don't get the wrong idea!

↪ She probably sees it as you wanting to bless your silly toy with her god-like presence because of her bloated ego. She thinks very highly of herself for giving you a hand.

↪ She knows how to care for a Tamagotchi, mainly because she had her mother's as a child. It brings back some nostalgia.

↪ She gives it back to you in good shape, with a smile that would make any boy fall in love. When you take it from her and your hands touch, she explodes into a blush and runs away in shame.

Nendou Riki:

↪ Riki has no idea how to care for a Tamagotchi, but he will still accept because it means a lot to his best pal (and crush, but he's too dumb to realize that he likes you).

↪ Futabatchi is going to see some twisted shit.

↪ Riki asks his mother for help because he has no idea how this thing works. She used to have one as a teen, so she thankfully knows how to keep the virtual pet alive.

↪ Realistically, so many things could go wrong: forgetting about it and how to control it, crushing it by sitting on it, losing it somewhere, letting it die miserably...

↪ If he somehow manages to hand it to you alive, it is probably drowning in shit and sick. Riki will ask you to eat ramen with him as a reward for taking good care of it.

This is one of the reasons Grey's Anatomy is still so important to me. It was the first time I remember seeing a surprise pregnancy portrayed where abortion was even considered an option, let alone the one that was ultimately chosen and with zero hand-wringing at that. And this was in the very first season, back in 2005, I wouldn't be surprised if this was one of if not THE first primetime shows to actually go there.

Cristina finds out she is pregnant. It's poised as this kind of major thing, iirc, it's like the episode ender moment--but then she's just. 'I need to schedule an abortion, no I don't need to have a big talk with psych about it first, just get me the appointment. I'll ask my friend to cover my rounds for that time. Ok, cool.' And then it was done and that was that.

There was no judgment, either, narratively or from the characters she told. She wasn't slut-shamed, no one acted like she should at least uwu CONSIDER having the kid. She was a surgical intern who would never in a million years give up the start of her extremely promising career to be a mother, and that is treated just as valid as any other character's decision to become a parent. And she never has the big 'wow I actually do want to be a mom' moment either, even after she got married--in fact I think in that time she got pregnant again and had another abortion, because she just flat never wanted to be a mom.

As someone who feels exactly the same way, it was just so amazing to me to see on TV, especially where almost every other show at that time (sitcoms included but also primetime dramas where it becomes a major Thing) would have the character's life completely derailed and shifted onto the Parenthood Track, bringing up and supporting abortion as an option and also having a character who did not want to be a mother and never wound up just magically changing her mind.

Y’all know that like…the conservatives in Texas didn’t just suddenly start ‘attacking’ queer people because of terminally online ‘kink at pride’ discourse, right?

Like, y’all are aware of the fact that this reactionary conservatism was already on the rise for the past 10 years or so, right? And that whatever squabbling on the internet that this community has been doing with one another literally is not the reason or basis as to why emboldened conservatives feel comfortable toying with our basic human rights…right?

This is literally why I have been such a proponent for active and inclusive spaces for queer people of ALL ages… which absolutely includes minors. Which is something that (depending on your region) has been a common thing in many queer spaces and even during pride where you will find various events such as inter-generational lunches and youth camps.

Now, we are seeing these super conservatives use one of the most vulnerable and easily impressionable groups of people in society to project their horrific ideologies onto in the name of their ‘safety’ while y’all…are too busy complaining about how kids don’t ‘deserve’ to be at pride. Do y’all not see how this was a missed opportunity to create better community opportunities for kids and teens, especially if they’re queer/trans? Do y’all not realize how important the youth in any community, but especially in minority communities, and their education and (physical/mental) safety are to making sure the future of that community can continue?

This is the nuance that has been consistently missing in these conversations about pride and community, overall, and it’s genuinely baffling to me how y’all only give a shit about your personal adult endeavors being affected by this wave of conservatism. As if everything else, especially the autonomy of minors, is some kind of pit stop in the grand scheme of activism when it’s literally the bedrock of so many current social issues that we are seeing and experiencing today.

Everything is connected. Everything. So, if your ‘queer activism’ doesn’t even include the health, safety, and education of minors…then it’s genuinely worthless. I don’t care if you want kids or not because that’s not what the point of this post is about!

Your personal hang ups with your parents regarding children has nothing to do with the bigger picture of needing to create a better society for the future generations of human beings who did not ask to be here, like the rest of us. Y’all have spent far too long seeing the forest for the trees and that’s what’s been putting so many ‘leftists’ on ice when it comes to actually organizing and making real structural change.

Some of y’all may not like hearing this but we do have a responsibility to be just as supportive and compassionate towards children and teens as we are towards anyone else in this world. Think about your own foundations as kids and teens. Wouldn’t it have made your life easier knowing there are communities of adults and peers you could trust? Wouldn’t it have saved you some anxiety to just know that you could have more than one or two people to reach out to when you were in pain?

So since my rose-colored Gray Wing glasses have been torn of my face and stomped into tiny pieces, I’m now wondering if my perception of Clear Sky’s arc is also skewed. I thought his redemption arc was well done (until Star Flower came back) because he was sincerely trying, wasn’t expecting forgiveness, and (unlike a lot of redemption arcs) was not forgiven by most of the characters right away because of how bad his actions were. Until he got with Star Flower, I thought his redemption arc was damn near perfect. Do I have on rose-colored glasses for his redemption arc?

Clear Sky's "redemption arc" is one of the most incompetent bits of writing that has ever blighted the entire series and I promise you I'm not doing hyperbole. It is so bad that it drags down everything it touches, including Gray Wing, Thunder, Acorn Fur, and the entire concept of StarClan.

And, unfortunately, both things you cited there absolutely did not happen, I am going to have to eat your glasses. I'm gonna munch. I'm gonna cRUNCH

"He was sincerely trying"

He wasn't. He just stopped actively shredding random people on his border and then whines that he's "Trying So Hard," using it as yet another guilt trip tactic because he's still an abuser.

The SECOND anyone gives him any criticism (FOR BRINGING A WIFEBEATER INTO HIS CLAN MIND YOU), he twists the fact they're supposed to "forgive him" against them, starts calling Gray Wing slurs for having asthma, and gets offended at a warning while huffing, "no one tells me what to do!"

Like a big fucking baby

And he only let Tom into his clan (even implying he's not a REAL cat because he's fat + an ex-kittypet) because he promised he could show him how to "fight dirty."

AND ALSO he is fully aware that this man kidnapped children in a previous book; but Blazing Star completely forgets major details of the previous three books in a way that is absolutely unacceptable. You are practically reading a new continuity.

"He was not forgiven by the other characters right away"

He was. He was literally, immediately forgiven in the very opening of Blazing Star. By Gray Wing and Thunder, because the narrative decided that Everyone Is Responsible.

Even back in First Battle, right after the fight ends we get a line that gives Bramblestar a run for his money. "WE let it get too far." The narrative even scrambles for some reason to make a woman responsible and grabs Tall Shadow for some fucking reason.

Acorn Fur doesn't even mention that CLEAR SKY WAS STARVING HER FATHER before she decides to move in with him, because she would miss her parents too much on the moor... those parents who just died. In the battle Clear Sky started.

Everyone immediately forgives him and kisses his butt because "The guilt will hurt him more than any actual consequences :((( He was just under so much pressure of leading guys.... which is why he should continue to lead............"

I've actually had a hard time continuing my reread because I've actually been fucking enraged at how Thunder is swooning over his daddy "finally looking at him" uwu

This is painted like a good thing. This is a sweet and nice thing that finally, the abusive ghoul who shoved his face into a festering wound and said he shouldn't have been born just before trying to kill him and all of his friends 'respects him.' Oh Joyous Day Yippee Hooray!

How this ruins the other characters

It destroys Gray Wing because it makes ALL this dogshit behavior that he displayed for the first three books correct. In spite of how GOD awful this "Redemption Arc" is, you are supposed to believe that there is good "deep down" within Clear Sky. That all of this abuse apologia was wisdom. Gray was, and IS, right to take every insult and understand it as humility, and the Clear Sky on the page is actually a Good Boi who Really Does Love His Clan.

It ruins Thunder because even after ALL of that physical and emotional abuse and neglect, he's still supposed to honor Clear Sky as "You'll always be my father." These destructive impulses to want his approval are good and natural in this narrative, not something to confront or fundamentally question.

Fuck, just look at the Tom Redemption. The writers LOVE abusive parents. Even if they beat the shit out of your mom, get her killed, kidnap you, and had no part in raising you, "they still love you and would die for you." Tom's Redemption and Clear Sky's Redemption are just different lines in the same song.

Acorn Fur moves in with the guy who held one of her parents hostage and ultimately got both of them killed

And STARCLAN forms to "tell clear sky what to do," because in the baffling Fear vs Greed Dichotomy this series thinks is some kind of thesis, Clear Sky was just "afraid," not "greedy," and that means his fucked up little head can be fixed by the comfort a religious force can bring. He wasn't abusive because he loves having power over people, the thing that is right there on the page, nope, he really was just worried about death or responsibility or something.

This isn't even getting to the person he is in later material. He's a MONSTER in Moth Flight's Vision, as if his growth never happened.

And this is taking him all at face value-- in a meta sense, the sheer amount of female characters that get brutalized just for his man pain is legitimately dizzying. 2 mates die, 2 innocent women slaughtered, a child beaten and another starved to death, and even pregnant Star Flower gets pinned to the ground and licked on the face as her assaulter talks about how much he wanted her as a mate

This is the worst arc in the entire Warrior Cats franchise and it is spinning on the crap-axis that is Clear Sky's 'redemption'.

The arc is bad BECAUSE it is working towards this idea, that the best villain the series ever wrote has to become the writer's Poor Little Meow Meow halfway through 6 books, so we can get to our regularly scheduled Born Evil Foreigner Villains Who Hate Love And Friendship.

Imagine TPB but Fireheart cries that self defense against Clanborn cats makes you Just As Bad, Tigerstar was just scared or something, and you get two Diet Scourges. That's DOTC.

It was like one of my first fandoms ever and to this day I dearly love it :333 but after season 10 i unfortunately stopped watching because of my awful life situation at that point of mu existence... and after that, there was so much new media that i couldn't get to that easily...

BUT I'm trying for last few months rewatch whole series including new season :DDD

But I can still tell you which I liked the most anyway!!!

Season 5 with Morro and season 6 with Nadakhan, also this (IG special because at least in my television it was showed between two different seasons) episode where Cole is dying and becoming a ghost :DD that was very dramatic for my young teenager self.

(I saw a lot of ppl that are kinda shipping Morro with one of ig beta versions of Zane and it interesting, because since I was like 13-14 I shipped Morro x Lloyd, and idk what happend with this emo motherfucker after he literally died second time)

But i need to at least acknowledge even if season 3 wasn't my favorite one, as a 12 year old I cried like little baby when Zane died :))

Season 2 also SOOO cool, but I think it would me my 3 favorite, because of the whole action in it!!!! Like man every episode was so epic. I even have bootleg figure of Pythor, he is almost looking like original one uwu (and ik it's his second design, because first one was this purple with black stripes, but yeaaaa... I still love him tho, I also have somewhere Garmadon figure :D)

And my thoughts about new seasons??? Actually i don't have any, because yk i heard a lot of negative opinion about everything after the movie (which i was on premiere, in cinema full of uncultured, awful, disgusting, yelling children), so I don't have any expectations much but if they are good, I will love it with my whole body :DDD

Yeah too little Jay is always awful for Jayfandom, they can't simp for their favorite simp /j

And yes, I hung my ninjago dragons on the lamp and I have so small amount of them because those my parents bought me when I was minor and lego is so FUCKING expensive... (i have also this lego ninjago castle from lego ninjago movie)

Funfact: I polish version Kai has the same VA as Wheeljack and Steeljaw, and Cliffjumper with Zane, and Bulkhead with Garmadon????

"prevent mentally ill people from buying guns" is a bad policy. the shooters aren't necessarily mentally ill or known to be mentally ill, and the most vulnerable people (the most in need of a gun to protect themselves) are likely to be mentally ill. you do realise that abuse and stalking survivors are likely mentally ill as a result of that trauma, yet would need a gun to protect themselves from said abuser, who is very potentially not mentally ill (or not seeking help and thus totally not known to be so) and would be able to get a gun under your system. veterans are likely mentally ill, yet the most trained on how to actually use said gun. suicide prevention also shouldn't come at the expense of a person's rights and liberties - you shouldn't remove bodily autonomy or the right to self-defense just because a person isn't well.

I'm not american, but I've been shot at twice - once by an abuser attempting to kill me, and once by someone who didn't even know I was there (we drove by and suddenly people were shooting at each other, we just got caught in the crossfire for a moment). that abuser still wants to hurt me, and can still access illegal guns (we did successfully prosecute, but jail isn't forever, and I wouldn't want it to be even if it means I have to deal with knowing he's out there looking for me), but I can't legally buy a gun to defend myself - in fact, I have to stress that my axe is purely for cutting wood and I keep it by my bed in case I stumble across a stray log in the night, and I have zero intent to use it to defend myself, because if I say that I intend to use it as a weapon then it's illegal to do so. I know how to kill myself with an elastic band, or cleaning products, or a tall building, or a shoelace and a pencil, or a length of rope, or a needle full of heroin, or a pencil sharpener - I don't need a gun to do it, and having a gun wouldn't make me any more inclined to do it, and even if it would... that's my decision. the fact that you don't want me to is cause for you to improve the mental health system, not remove my rights.

most gun deaths are suicides iirc, but a massive portion of heroin overdoses are caused by relapsing after your tolerance has dropped as a result of quitting, so your body can't actually handle the dose you think is the dose you need. should we ban quitting heroin, or should we tackle the addiction issues and help more people quit? you don't end suicide by causing an endless cycle of banning whatever is a common method of doing it.

mass shootings are terrible and tragic. but gun buyback programs (ones that actually pay enough to pay back the huge costs of guns and the training to use them and stuff, and more just to be safe) would help people who need money and may commit violence to get it, as would things like ubi and social safety nets. then improvements to the mental health system, anonymous access for kids who don't want their parents/peers to know that they're seeking mental health help, free mental health help, community centers and programs that have trained professionals teens can speak to, free/cheap gun safes and community gun storage facilities so parents can keep their guns away from the kids when not at the range, free/cheap training at gun ranges (especially for young people) that include gun safety education, better education in general, helping young people process and internalise the concept of death (this sounds dumb, but our cultures are so averse to death and "this fucking kills people", and you see it very clearly in the "he's in a better place" and the effects of it in how flippant they are about how dangerous the car they're driving actually is), fixing the algorithms on social media so they don't funnel people down radicalisation rabbit holes, anti-bullying measures that aren't just some dumb "bullying is mean uwu" video/speaker but are actually providing things for bullied kids to find peers and report the bullies (more clubs, more rigorous policies in schools, for example proven bullying in multiple instances going on your permanent record and potentially therefore affecting college admission, that's definitely going to make people think twice, as well as teaching self-defense classes so that bullied people know how to punch back). I just listed a dozen policies that would chip away at a few of the causal factors of gun deaths (isolation, bullying, mental illness, radicalisation, socioeconomic circumstances, and so forth), there's more, but "ban the mentally ill from getting guns" is so stupid.

as I've mentioned, mental illness isn't the only causal factor, it's also hugely varied - one person's depression may make them more inclined towards violence or suicide, another's less, schizophrenia isn't just going to turn you into the punisher, ptsd can make you terrified of the sound of gunshots, etc. you're overgeneralising in a myriad of ways, and you're only going to end up hurting people, with minimal (if any) positive impact. I know I'm saying this from the "privileged" position of living somewhere with zero gun rights, but need I remind you I've had a gun pointed at my head when I was a child, and ducked a split second before he pulled the trigger. I'd hardly say I'm a stranger to the horrors of kids being shot. I'm left wing, I'm not a lib, so I think an armed populace is one that can fight facism more effectively, I think self-defence for the most marginalised people is essential, I think bodily autonomy and human rights deserve protection - this leads me to a pro-gun position. since no amount of guilt-tripping over how I'm totally advocating to muder babies changes my mind on abortion, why would it on gun rights? I hate that me having been shot at is seen as less "lived experience" than you being born on the same continent as more school shootings, what the hell is that logic?

anyway, fix the system, you can't just ban the worst thing over and over again, otherwise you end up getting butter knives taken by the police in a few years, it's futile. slippery slope and all.

Kenny Rant

This got really long. I’m sorry.

I wanna talk about Kenny because he’s my favourite. And he’s a silly little guy. I may be projecting a teensy bit but Im just going to scream into the void and you can listen if you want.

Kenny is Cartman’s best friend. Kenny is Butters’ best friend. These can coexist.

Kenny is not saving Butters from Cartman. 2 Reasons:

1. Butters is not an uwu boi who needs protecting. He’s an asshole who’s a little too trusting sometimes.

2. Kenny is not some flirty strong dude-bro. He’s an asshole and a quiet kid who’s just happy to be included.

That’s not to say that I don’t ship Bunny. I do (sue me). but more like a teacher who seats two kids next to each other because they’d be cute together, than as an actual canon ship.

Another thing real quick is Kenjorine. I do wish people would give Marjorine more of Butters’ personality, but someone’s take was that in the episode “Marjorine” Butters never wanted to be Marjorine, therefore she’s just used as a love interest for Kenny, is objectively wrong. Yes Marjorine was Cartman’s idea. Yes Butters was hesitant. But no one can deny how happy Butters looked as Marjorine and the fun she had. Is Marjorine hyperfeminized? Yes absolutely, and it is annoying. But headcanons are okay! Transfem Butters who goes by Marjorine, Genderfluid Butters who can go by Marjorine, etc, yes go for it! But claiming Marjorine is NOT Butters and JUST a love interest for Kenny? :/ Its all fun and games here. Let people have fun and games.

Anyway, back to Kenny because no one understands him like I do.😔

KENNY IS NOT A FLIRTY WHORE. He is kind of a pervert who probably had unrestricted internet access and found porn waaaaayyyy to early. But that does not mean he’s a total slut who will sleep around with anyone and everyone. On a similar note, he’s also not mr. popular either. He’s a quiet kid. He doesn’t talk a lot and often fades into the background. He enjoys hanging out with Stan, Kyle, and Cartman. I can only think of one time he willing chose not to hangout with Cartman. He enjoys it! He loves going along with they’re crazy shenanigans! He loves to be included. Because if he’s not included, he’s forgotten about. He dies all the time and no one remembers. He misses out on so much. I’m sure he feels really left out sometimes. (If you like the someone remembers headcanon), does anyone ever catch him up on what happened after he dies?

Imma leave that question there and move on. Kenny is obviously a wonderful brother who cares deeply about his family. However I really wish the show touched more on his relationship with Kevin. Do they bond over shared trauma? Or grow apart because of how similar Kevin is to their father? I like to think that they’re close. But they likely aren’t.

Slight switch. Another characterization I see a lot is that Kenny is a crackhead or similar. I really don’t think Kenny would do a lot of drugs. He lived in a household that had a meth lab in the back yard and his parents were almost always drunk or high. I don’t think he would want that for himself. I know there’s that one episode where he gets high on cat piss and daffodils or something. That’s there. It exists. I know. I would like to think he would have some character development between 8 years old and the typical 16-21 years he’s usually aged up to. I don’t know though, it was never mentioned again. You’re entitled to your own opinion but I just don’t think he’d stick with it.

I think imma stop here. Theres more I could say and I could probably make a whole other post on Mysterion alone but I’ll only do that if it’s asked for.

What you wrote in that post about the course for teachers meant to prevent antisemitism in schools is proof that it is much needed and something like that should have been implemented yesterday. You could have done some research about the massive misinformation campaign started by the both sides of the I/P conflict (including allies, especially) since 7 October and the blatant antisemitism that is corroding the pro Palestine side, because many of their supporters have decided to show their solidarity through antisemitic biases and actions that most of them don't even understand are deeply problematic and are in no way helping Palestine, but your first reaction was to assume the Jews Israel is controlling the narrative and weaponizing antisemitism - at a time when antisemitism is skyrocketing everywhere around the world.

Also, there's a reason why the Jewish community of Timișoara is so small, isn't it? Actually, there's a reason why the Jewish community in Romania is so small now compared to how it used to be before WW2, isn't it? You're a teacher and you oftenly complain about how closed minded and ignorant your fellow teachers and your students' parents are, you should have known better than this.

But I shall approach you like one of my students:

In what context would the Palestine vs Israel conflict be approached by History teachers?

There is no present day history being taught as far as I know. I am not using contemporary because it leads up to the 21st century but not in detail and it only mentions a couple of events.

So the context would be... non existent.

I do not follow the news and the few I have been following are plainly stating facts. X is doing atrocities to Z. You can place either team. I do not deny your claim that some outlets are probably using discriminatory tactics just for kicks.

The thing is that Romanian pupils are not watching news on foreign politics. If anything, they would care about the war a few km away from us.

Let's address antisemitism and when it's discussed during History lessons:

- WW2 (I am no longer aware when exactly it's taught but I learnt about it in years 7, 8, 11 and 12)

- The new school subject added this year for 11th graders: The History of the Jewish People/Holocaust (it's a thing since like uwu yesterday uwu and the information is the same as in history lessons except with the emphasis on the Jewish community obvi)

- maybe other subject which tackle communities, tolerance and maybe even Religion (I remember learning a lot in primary school about their history)

So, please enlighten me why should this contemporary political/military issue be suddenly discussed in class?

Can we trace a timeline that would lead to understanding the reasons behind this war? Yes.

Does a teacher going to class and shouting "hey, kids, stop watching dances on tiktok and let's discuss the news which are very antisemitic" sound like a plausible thing? Definitely, but not really in a country that already supports Israel in this war and which is already the reason why Israel has a significant community number of citizens from here. Because things have been going on before and after WW2, but you call me ignorant and compare my intelligence to the one of a 6 year old, darling.

So to sum up... If you want to call out antisemitism in mass media, you approach zealots, uneducated adults and the media outlets themselves, not freaking children who don't even know where fucking Palestine and Israel are and don't know shit about politics to begin with!

Now that i think of it you can say that in the tfp au kindled Cybertronians go through metamorphosis

Most of these things are just completely unknown about in the tfp au, but a lot of it will be recorded as Silverlight grows up (and as the whole additive thing comes to live and as the study of kindling is further documented and researched in the future) I'm gonna make this as bearable to read as possible, using indentations and rainbow text my beloved

Naturally, kindling isn't as immediately easy as being created from the Allspark. But, like, I mean this in the way that the statistics would be wildly skewed from the Allspark as that wasn't supposed to be as heavily relied on as it was (well let's be real Solus wasn't quite meant to die but Primus said "fuck it let's use this to try again" and had intended this to be merely a way to establish an initial population) bUT, of course, they relied on the Allspark too much. The Quintessons saw this as the superior (and more controllable) method of reproduction and implimented this rhetoric along with the caste system. Canonically i believe the whole asexual ritual methods of mass producing sparked mecha was fucked with? Anyways this was a major factor in the Allspark petering out and making Cybertron go dark.

Kindling as a process, from what you may be able to guess, is sexual reproduction and is more familiar to us because uwu convergent evolution. Spike go into valve, overload, (not sure if i want to also include spark merging into this baby recipe or not), and there you go you're knocked up. Now, here is where things vary a lot based on not only environmental factors and genetics, but also the frametypes of the creators and plain old chance. The frametype factors are mostly for size reasons, bigger parents will often mean a sparkling that will be marginally bigger and gestate for longer. In general, a carrying Cybertronian will show less than say a human would and would have an easier time with emergence (which again would vary on the carrier/sparkling size ratio, ie example how Megatron didn't give any outwardly visible chance. A lot of things contributed to Silverlight's relatively short gestational period)

(I'll leave the further effects of kindling, carrying, emergence, and raising sparklings on the adult mecha involved¹)

After emergence, sparklings start out as small, silver with white optics as they lack pigment and squishy, heavily reliant on their creators for pretty much everything. They cannot move all that much, so they magnetically cling to their parents (the majority of kindled mecha will lose this ability as they approach the next stage, but some lose it later than that— with V few actually retaining it all the way into adulthood!) Soon after creation, sparklings will begin to use binary to communicate their needs/emotions, which the carrier will reciprocate to comfort and find said sparkling. Yes, all mecha are onlined with this binary, but outside of childhood and parenthood it's considered a little silly to use binary to communicate. The structures that allow the binary are separate from the rest of the vocalizer, so if one was damaged then the other method of communication is still available (this is my tfp au explanation for Bumblebee's whirping I suppose?)

To a lanky feral child who's just starting to get their pigments in and developing more defining traits. They start to molt for a variety of reasons, but it's a subtle and slow process that's akin to paint peeling off. It varies from sparkling to sparkling on how it feels, some feeling exactly nothing during this process and some finding it a little itchy. During this phase they become far more active and well feral. If they're destined to develop sharp bits, that's exactly what starts to harden first (to many creators' and medics' chagrin) During this stage, the sparkling will need to injest metals and minerals, which will spur upon the third annoyance of this stage: a strong urge to chew on just about everything. It's not for the same reasons as humans, considering Cybertronian sparklings online with dentae, but many could compare it to such. In most cases, the sparkling should feel no pain in this stage unless it makes the unfortunate decision to bite into something that's too hard for it. If the sparkling's chewing processes seem to be impeded in any way or are never initiated, medics advise an immediate doctor time and intervention. Rarely, a sparkling will be unable to gain the important nutrients in this stage and specialized injections will be needed.

Later on, the sparkling will start to become a youngling, as their weight starts to catch up with the growth of the rest of their frame. Their temperament starts to stabilize and the chewing ceases². The armor finishes hardening as their kibble is pretty much set but they still aren't done growing, starting to look more like the typical mecha we see if in general having a young vibe to them. Occasionally, the hardening process will take longer, and uwu should be supervised in case of underlying issues. Some kindled mecha will be observed in which some of their plating never hardens, which can/will lead to issues in their adult life, but said mecha can live a happy and fulfilling life. Fuck with a mech for having areas of soft playing and you're an asshole

Then, well, bing bang boom adult Cybertronian who is pretty much identical to cloned mecha or ones from the allspark. The frame abnormalities I've mentioned in above entries are actually identified in some Allspark sparked mecha, though their versions of aforementioned divergences don't develop over time and they are onlined in their fully developed frame with them. Records of times past seem like they indicate these as resent developments, but delving further shows that before the renaissance of kindling adjacent science shows a lot of undiscussed ableism towards such mecha (with many newly sparked mecha being written off as defective or glitched, and excluded from the texts³)

Afterwards, we get the more or less equivalent of late teen stage in organics where young Cybertronians visually are as grown as they're getting without a full frame upgrade. Though, the internals and processor still need to stabilize and you know what I'm going to say "if this organ stabilization process continues into adulthood please tell your pitforsaken PCP as it probably means shit's fucked for some reasons, organs are not supposed to move".

¹_Shortly after the sparkling's emergence, the protective programs kick in. If i were to compare them to human levels of instinct, WOW is it turned up tenfold (though as I've mentioned before in other entries, this can and will vary. Deadbeat moms still happen, just like in humans🥰) Often the sire[s] will also, as well as some mecha who are considered entirely unrelated to all of the above! The mindfuck that is a whirlwind of algorithms will usually fade as time goes on. Though, medics should be aware of the rare condition of these algorithms not self terminating, as it could lead to or be indicative of various issues. During the first couple years the algorithms could lead to the slightly hilarious phenomenon of the carrier misidentifying select organics for sparklings, as say juvenile humans have a very similar EM field to sparklings. Sometimes the sire(s) can find themsel(f/ves) mimicking this behavior, although most of these cases of the sire(s) mimicry is entirely psychological.

²_It is medically advised to plan a visit if they reach the youngling stage and are still chewing, as this could be signs of an underlying deficiency or various other problems. There are cases of mecha retaining this behavior through adulthood, and it's even documented in some sparked mecha! If all medical reasoning is ruled out, this pica is considered a frame quirk and parties involved are advised to watch for problems but otherwise it's not an issue

³_ I highly expect that as the truce and peace goes on and millennia pass, talking about mental health issues and frame divergences becomes more normalized. Especially because of how so damn many autobots and Decepticons having PTSD. Also because I say so, and ~projection~ as I further lean into medical hell.

How to do a Better Velma Show

No, I haven't watched HBO's Velma because it sucks ass based on the reviews, and I don't wanna boost its ratings by hate-watching. So, instead, I'm gonna provide a few ideas that I have to make a better show centred around Velma. These are only my ideas but feel free to give your opinions on them.

Make Velma flawed, but likeable and relatable. No character is perfect, but it's fine to include a few flaws in some characters. For her, maybe make her just a little bossy, regarding Shaggy, but not to the point of insufferable, in fact make her learn what being a good leader is, while keeping in touch with her famous characteristics. Make her a bit too quick thinking, but eventually have her learn better critical analysis when it comes to solving mysteries.

Race swaps are fine; include them if you want, but leave out the goddamn stereotypes, e.g. Velma being a pretentious, know-it-all southeast Asian girl. Like, not all Asians are like this!

Cut down on the gore and sex scenes. This is when they were set in HIGH SCHOOL, right??? So, why does it have a scene of some girls showering with their lady parts covered? I mean, come on, I know it's supposed to be for adults, but don't sexualise kids! Or keep bringing up peepee jokes in relation to some kid! (I'm talking about the one with Fred) Plus, as someone who draws gore, gore doesn't equal "mature show". Putting gore in a show for shock value just comes off as lazy. I also recommend either having the murder victims killed off in a "clean" way (no violence like removing their brains, maybe something mysterious) or maybe have them kidnapped or something. Yeah, Mystery Incorporated had a lot of death but didn't go over the top with its violent scenes.

Hire better voice actors. The voice acting in this show is terrible, particularly for those voicing the side characters and Mindy Kaling. :/ The other main characters, I feel they could be better, but the character with the most tolerable voice acting is Norville, voiced by Sam Richardson. He could sound a little goofy like Shaggy, but not too much. Speaking of...

Give my man Shaggy more respect. He doesn't have to get with Velma, but he also doesn't need to be treated this shitty. Like, maybe have her be touched by Shaggy's confession, but politely let him down and apologise for not being able to return those feelings. Also, make him a dog lover, a foodie, and take out the "junkie" jokes. Make him smart yet goofy as well!

Fred could've SERIOUSLY been done better. -_- I don't mind him being written as a rich kid, but maybe have him be a kind guy who's eager to be independent and start his own trap making business. An idea his own dad looks down upon. Have him be fed up hanging around with his douchebag jock friends and start hanging with the Mystery Gang slowly over time. Oh, and a personal choice, make him neurodivergent. :D

Make Velma neurodivergent as well. Just saying. UWU

Take out the godawful meta humour and pop culture references. I don't need to explain why, but I will say that Mindy Kaling should've actually put a lot more effort into her writing.

Have Daphne be only a slight snob, but not a bitch. In fact, have her eventually diss the status quo and go hang with the Mystery Gang and embrace her goofy self like in some other incarnations, e.g. Be Cool, Scooby Doo. Oh, and have her be part of the karate club.

Maybe have Velma's parents be more loving and perhaps diss the "missing mother" subplot. Maybe have them be divorced and Velma missing the time when they used to be together.

Somehow introduce Scooby Doo into this. The gang isn't the same without him.

More convincing platonic and romantic chemistry between characters. Doesn't matter if they're hetero or LGBT, MAKE THEM WORK.

BETTER DEPICTIONS OF PANIC ATTACKS.

Don't hire Mindy Kaling on the team. XD

Random midnight Kokoro Mistume thoughts cuz I just watched stream recordings of SDRA2 and she’s on my mind again.

I saw someone claim that apparently LINUJ said if Kokoro had a friend when she was younger, she wouldn’t have gone down the path she did? I can’t find a verifiable source... but it actually kind of affirms my view on the character. Specifically, that she on some level felt like she was broken and a reject from society, something wrong that needed to be fixed. If someone came to accept her for who she was, then maybe her curiosity over emotions wouldn’t become the destructive obsession it did.

I also saw a suggestion that maybe the Tragedy was what changed her, but... nope, timeline doesn’t match up. She would’ve had Mikako nearly two decades before the tragedy, meaning any concerns she had about ethics were long gone by the time of SDRA2. I still wonder what made her give up said concerns though. I do think there’s some merit to the idea that if she lived and her peers were her “classmates” something akin to the childhood friend idea may have happened, because she admitted her ambitions to Sora in her free time events but showed those hesitations. Being around people who could be a positive influence but still accept her for how she was could have helped her.

Somehow didn’t discuss the relationship with Emma even though it’s a big thing with her. That might be because even with anything, the way Emma interacted with Kokoro kinda made me uncomfortable, like as an Autistic person I’ve known instances of people who were like Emma who were all “aww you just need to smile and hang out with us uwu” to me. It’s very annoying, and I mean, Kokoro is visibly annoyed by it too (I think at the party before Yuri died she’s outright like “stop treating me like a fucking child” lol, oh hey infantilisation, another common Autistic experience :v), only actually choosing to open up to Emma when she sees her TRUE feelings and isn’t acting painfully neurotypical UH I MEAN putting on the overly cheery fake personality to spy on her. We see Kokoro actually open to the true Emma and not the fake persona she puts up. In Kokoro’s dislikes she actually has people who mask/conceal their emotions listed, so Emma acting how she did probably got on her nerves even more due to this. Basically, she wanted Emma to stop fucking around and be honest with her if she really was interested in her. And like, despite Emma primarily trying to spy on Kokoro, it is hinted that she did genuinely like her.

Also, there’s the whole thing where Emma’s dad was abusive, and Kokoro was an awful absuive mother herself. I don’t think Emma knew that since I think the Voids only knew the bare minumum/what was absolutely necessary for the game, but there is a weirdly poetic subtext you could gleam from that. Kokoro wasn’t just killed by her own “child”, but another child of an abusive parent. I guess I feel like if Emma properly knew this, her disdain for Kokoro would be way more obvious after the second trial (and okay you could argue there’s an issue of not spoiling things for the amnesiacs because plot, but still). Still, the fact she got pissed off at her and killed her is kinda interesting as said. Do I think they could’ve been friends? Maybe, but probably not in the way I see a lot of people imagining them in fandom (and shipping them), Emma I think needs to accept that if she wants Kokoro to like her then she needs to meet her on her level, even if that includes emotional vulnerability. Kokoro on the other hand would probably need to be more sensitive and respect Emma’s boundaries. But eh, I hate being a cop in fandom, we have too much of that shit, so I’m not gonna complain to people for not following my specific read on characters.

1.How do they identify?

I headcanon Hilda to be a bisexual cis woman. There's nothing interesting about in/tsys making a feminine woman but I can entertain myself with Hilda as a fat, muscular femme.

17. What advice would they give their younger self?

It's a coin toss whether I headcanon one of fire emblem's missing mothers as deceased or not; I do in Hilda's case. So in a canon setting there's just aging (retired) Goneril Senior who has given control of the house to Holst; who Hilda says would have been the next obvious choice for leader of the Alliance if Claude hadn't shown up.

(I have a point, I'm getting to it.)

The difference in how Hilda addresses Cyril compared to how Holst refers to Cyril in his letter, reminds me of interactions in my mixed family. Hilda reads the letter to Cyril (for the audience's benefit Really but we can pretend) as a gesture of good will, but from what we can glean, Holst didn't write to Cyril, his letter was fully intended for his little sister and I feel that the words between the lines of this (and probably other letters from Holst) are, "Don't turn out like dad. Can you see it? In how we were raised?"

In a modern setting fic of mine, I have Fae, Claude and Lorenz visit the Gonerils. They join Holst in his furnished basement while Hilda's parents stay on the main floor and they can hear Goneril Sr shouting his displeasure / lack of understanding from the floor above. Hilda's mother is the only character I've written to actually (accidentally) misgender Fae (so far?).

I think Claude would have had a harder time bringing Nader over if Goneril Sr was still in charge of the border. I don't think he's only made of hate, but I think her parents would be reflective of the fears, stereotypes and reputation that's hinted at with regards to the "Eastern Menace" of Almyra and Fodlan nobility as a whole.

I think this is supported by how they spoil and scold Hilda.

And so.

Hilda's advice to her younger self would include a reassurance that her inner life will one day just be her life, and that her being extroverted won't always be a performance or a misinterpretation with how she'd rather laze / do nothing / not try. I think she would advise making sure she's more patient and generally kinder with herself and others, which would include a gamut of diversity, because even though she's very sympathetic, she expresses it with a haughty entitlement in her youth that has been learned and nurtured by people she can never fully please anyway.

I think other advice she would have for herself would veer further from the theme of Pride except for how it still would relate to her, a bi woman, you know?

Anyway, rotating this line in my mind at light speed:

Hilda: Ooh, they eloped! I like that. It's so romantic. Imagine, abandoning your family forever to be with the one you love! Not everyone can do that.

19. What’s the [identity]-est thing they’ve ever done?

In Houses canon: That one line in the m/arihilda paired ending:

The accessories sent to Marianne personally by Hilda became some of the most highly valued treasures in history.

It has to win out because without the m/arihilda paired ending there'd be far less wlw Hilda content. However, I also want to honour her A Support with Claude for this:

Hilda: When you smile or laugh, it's not sincere. I can tell. I've only seen you genuinely smile a handful of times. Like when you're talking to the professor. Claude: Well? Good one, Hilda. You hit me right in the gut. I guess you're right. I'm not so different from you in that way. But how did you come to realize that? Have you been watching me that closely? Hilda: I'm afraid so. My eyes seem to wander toward you, of their own accord. Waagh! Hold on! Forget I said that. I didn't say that.

Because I interpret this as a casual attraction to both Claude and Byleth (regardless of gender). I don't know. It's something about unintentional attention -- and care built up over years, you know?

In Hopes canon: Her Leonie support chain.

Nonsense: Her dock martens / big ol' boots + pink aesthetic.

Explicit Nonsense:

Either when Lorenz comes out as bisexual sometime after marriage and the nature of their intimacy changes, first with her pegging him and then with them discussing more candidly their attraction to others of any gender.

Or whenever she has sex with with any of her partners in any configuration.

the Mario Movie Post

ok SO heres a more expansive post listing my Thoughts on the mario movie. HUGE spoiler warning under the cut btw

it was....good! i keep comparing it to the sonic movies in my head bc thats what ive seen a lot of other ppl doing, and i think, compared to those movies, this one is a “safer” adaptation of the source material; and ofc this isnt an inherently good or bad thing, but it may influence ur opinion if u were expecting a more derivative adaptation like the sonic movies, which take more risks and creative liberties. id rank the mario movie below sonic 2 (the greatest movie of all time btw), but idk if id put it above or below sonic 1; ultimately, like i said, it depends on whether u prefer the adaptation thats “safer” or “riskier” in terms of what its trying to accomplish.

anyway, here r some things i rly liked abt the movie!! warning for me gushing abt bowser bc im in love with him btw ASDLJKADS

bowser is the greatest character in the entire thing ofc. not surprising at all ASLKJDSLKJDS my big beautiful monster husband he is SOOOO GOOOODDD like.....hes the most expressive, full of personality, and jack black gives an AMAZING performance as him. his fucking song???? the princess peach love song??? beautiful. lovely. i love bowser so fucking much......like yeah he “kidnaps people” and “tries to kill innocents” or whatever but errmmm he does it in the name of love so its ok uwu my big strong cuddly ferocious teddy bear i love him I LOVE HIIMMMMM KLASJDKLJASDLKJ HES SO PERFECT HES A SWEET LOVEY DOVEY DORK BUT HES ALSO FUCKED UP EVIL AND POWERFUL AND WILLING TO CRUSH ANYONE WHO STANDS IN HIS WAY GOOOODDDDD I WANT HIM SO BAD

animation is gorgeous, including the environments and character models. say what u want abt illumination but u have to admit their actual animation game is pretty damn good and this film is no exception

i rly appreciate all the references and easter eggs! i like how they used music from the games in various ways, and how they incorporated the different worlds/levels.

i LOVE the little additional bits of lore they added!!! ive been a huge Mario Lore Enthusiast pretty much since i first learned how to use the internet so this was very satisfying to my autistic brain ALSKJLKDASJ

as far as specific lore elements go, i loved getting to see mario and luigi’s parents (+ extended family!!!). u dont understand for the longest time the only CANON picture we had of mario and luigis parents were these images from the end of yoshis island ASKLDJSLAKDJ so im very happy we got more detailed designs for them

i love the backstory they gave princess peach!! ive always wondered why she rules the mushroom kingdom despite not being a toad. i hope they expand on her story more if they ever make a second movie bc i think it would be rly interesting to know more abt where she came from!!

i LOOOVE the kongs so so much......ty mario movie for finally ending the debate abt whether or not dk is cranky kongs son or grandson SALKJDALKSJ also i love dk’s characterization in this too, his friendly rivalry w mario was rly funny

i love love LOOOVVE the sibling dynamic between mario and luigi. Bro They Are Bros

i like the incorporation of the power-ups and how they work

king bob-omb is there. i like him :)

and now for some criticisms (note that these r all pretty minor, there wasnt rly anything i Disliked abt the movie which is admittedly more than i can say abt the first sonic movie actually LKSAJLKD):

a lot of the characters just kinda felt flat, especially compared to bowser who has the most personality. luigi is the only one i can think of who has any kind of significant “arc.” peach, toad, and dk dont rly have any kind of significant character growth, while mario’s arc is just kinda....He Learns To Get Better At Fighting And Navigating The Mushroom Kingdom i guess. to be fair mario games in general arent rly known for focusing on character development (w some exceptions like the rpgs, but none of that development is rly focused on mario himself), but that ultimately just made this movie’s writing pale in comparison to the sonic movies (which arent perfect (except for the second one) but still)

luigi didnt rly do much throughout the whole thing.....i liked him a lot in the beginning, but he spends most of the movie being captured. i DID like the fight scene at the end where mario and luigi team up to beat the shit out of bowser tho!! i just wish we got to spend a little more time with luigi so his arc had a more satisfying conclusion

Why didnt they credit grant kirkhope for the dk rap. wtf nintendo/illumination

but yeah those r my Thoughts. overall it was a pretty good movie, id maybe give it like....7/10? 7.5/10? it wasnt Great but it was good. definitely better than the Other mario movie thats for sure LKASJFLKJS

If you’d like more info: I like Pokemon… a lot, I’ve been getting into Marvel a lot, Demon Slayer’s a really cool anime, I’ve been turned into a Jobro, I play FFXIV a lot. The characters on this bio are probably from another blog that I forgot existed!

I write for fun honestly and these idiots I made on my own, minus Raze, Sabretooth and Omega Red who are actually canon, are… just who they are. I know some of them are probably shit writing but heeey you don’t gotta rp with them… or me. :> I’m here for fun, friends and… that’s about it. (uwu if no one loves the villains… I will!)

I've been trying to get back into gaming so there might be days I won't do replies. I'll try to leave a message on the dash about that.

I don't have much of a busy life outside of taking care of an elderly parent. She's a full time job and so is taking care of the housework. So there will be days I'm busy taking her to appointments and the like. Usually the worst days are Wednesday and Friday for house work.
