We Belong Together (Part Eight)
Who’s watching In-Complete??? But I’m also tired lmao.

Tumblr media
It seemed that Jihoon had a hard time keeping secrets because when you scheduled an impromptu delivery for them, 12 other boys had ambushed you with questions and concerns for your new home, all the while hugging you as if they hadn’t seen you in decades, and answering everything. You gladly gave them your new address, letting them know that they were still welcomed anytime, even going as far as presenting Seventeen’s leaders with keys in case of anything. After all, some things just never changed, and you felt your home would’ve been much too quiet.
You quickly regretted it when you saw the housewarming gifts that you pretty sure cost more than the house itself and you hid those somewhere you hoped wouldn’t break, only taking them out when you found somewhere you knew wouldn’t hurt anyone’s feelings.
You didn’t know where you and Jihoon stood at the moment, but if he wasn’t asking questions, neither were you. He often asked you out to dinner with the guys and made a show of sitting next to you, mostly just to monopolize the conversation, and you weren’t complaining about that either. You liked hearing him talk someone’s ears off with the mindless babble his brain often came up with and you saw a lot of smiles directed at you every time you broke eye contact with Jihoon. He also liked to hold your hand a lot, usually taking your hand right back in his when you let go, though you would’ve appreciated it if he didn’t tell you in front of everyone why you were so shy..
He also (finally) gave you first listens from demos to completed albums, although he rarely took your advice for some things. Most nights, when it was too late to go back to the dorms, he would come home with you, the pullout couch becoming his fastest friend to date and many times, leaving your place as soon as there was light out, but purposely left things behind so he’d have an excuse to come back, and it happened more as the months progressed. He liked staying up late with you on the couch, watching movies until you could barely keep your eyes open. On several occasions, he put the blanket over you in an attempt to keep you from escaping to your own bed and it worked most of the time.
Sometimes when he noticed you were gonna actually sleep on the pullout with him, he’d adjust himself so he’d be facing you, and he couldn’t help himself when he traced the features on your face, smiling to himself. When you’d wake up from the tickling he caused, he’d retract his hand, but the smile stayed on his face and he talked to you quietly about everything in his mind. His favorite part was when you’d reach for his hand, and twine it with yours and with your other hand, brushing the hair from his face.
The nights you went to your own bed, he’d call you the second you were gone from his sight, and played 20 questions until one of you stopped talking. He never hung up on you and he never went to your room unless he had permission from you. It was the only place he considered your space in its entirety and he respected your boundaries (even if he would’ve liked to go in many times).
He didn’t like being faraway from you, though he wouldn’t admit to it outloud. He’d wake up earlier these times, not liking how cold he felt without you, even though he wouldn’t say anything either. He’d just wait until you woke up to be close to you again. His favorite part of the mornings he stayed a little longer was how you made him a cup of coffee before you went to shower to get ready for work. You often had to fight him so he wouldn’t leave without the coffee you swore he’d like and he liked being in the middle of something when you realized he did exactly that.
Seventeen continued to stop by where you worked, only with the ever growing money in their pockets and wallets, they paid for everything instead of charging and crediting it for another time. And every time, they made sure that you got something to get you through the rest of your shifts. They sidetracked you a lot but your bosses were friendly with them, only scolding them when they joked about taking you with them.
Your workplace seemed a lot better now too. Ever since said bosses decided they trusted you with their funds, you went to the bank and became a check signer for deliveries that required a prompt payment and you deposited twice a week for them. It seemed that shitty customers became a little more pleasant once they saw you in a position of power. Oh and when your annoying coworker quit, it called for a big sigh of relief, and fast worry about how you were gonna train a newbie. Through that, you wondered why you even wanted to quit when you knew you loved it there, even on your bad days. Your other coworkers respected you, your bosses treated you as part of the family, and you made some pretty reliable connections, such as sponsoring ISAC for one of the events.
You’d been thrilled to tell your bosses the news, a few tears spilling out when they figured out that the small publicity could cement the business for them and they wouldn't have to worry about foreclosing or selling or letting employees go. If anything, they’d be able to expand! But you didn’t tell the boys this news either, because secrets and surprises were the only thing you always had the upper hand in. So you continued going on about your daily life, almost spilling the beans multiple times when some of the members caught you loading some things and finding you in places that you normally wouldn’t be in. But finally the day arrived and you breathed a collective sigh of relief that you could finally let this go and focus on other things again.
You set up your booth, snacks and everything pretty early, the only thing you needed to do was wait for literally everyone else to show up, so you put on your sunglasses whenever the glare caught you off guard and prepped any snacks that may have needed extra time. Due to you spending so much time around Seventeen, it was a lot easier for you to see the idols and actors without losing your composure (much), and catering to them was -mostly- a cinch. You knew a couple of their friends so you waved to them quite a bit. But you hadn’t seen the boys in question yet, so you opted to read one of the books you bought, this time being in the mood to reread the Twilight series, so you cracked open the book, skimming your favorite part a couple of times before you picked up where you left off.
“Hi excuse me,” you peeked up at the annoying customer, nearly reiterating when you recognized him, but you stayed put. “I’m sorry, but do you have any limes?”
“How many?”
“Uh,” Jooheon held up his hand to count, then turned back to count his friends, counted his fingers once more and then smiled at you. “A handful would be great.”
You nodded once, taking off your sunglasses and got up from your seat to comply with the strange boy’s request.
“Not to be creepy or anything, but do I know you from somewhere? You just seem really familiar.”
“I live near Pledis and the commute to where I work is a b- pretty long, so maybe that?” You found the citrusy fruit and placed them in his palm until he couldn’t fit any more.
Jooheon’s hands twitched soon after and sent them flying on the counter. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t think my hands would spasm!”
You resisted the urge to blow an annoyed sigh and smiled instead. “It’s fine. Let me help you with that.” You gave him a little less when you put them back in his hands and waited for the thank you...that never came. His hands once again sent the green things flying and this time you didn’t hold back an eyeroll. He was one of those guys, huh? You’d be lecturing Seventeen about their friend choices next time you saw them.
“I’m sorry….I’m just bad at pick-up limes.” And then your brain registered the joke around the same time Jooheon laughed at your confused expression and you couldn’t help but giggle at that. “Oh my god, that actually worked?”
“No,” you shook your head, “but you get points for trying. I….” you couldn’t make the words come out to tell him about Jihoon. Even with all your years of knowing him and being together, there wasn’t an official thing for you yet, but you also couldn’t just not tell Jooheon about the situation. “I’m already seeing someone.” You spotted Seventeen just then, Mingyu no doubt scoping the place to find something to drink and you waved at them.
“No worries, I hope you’re happy with him, uh?”
“Y/N.”
“Cool. I’ll hopefully see you around Y/N. it was nice meeting you.”
You nodded as the boys caught up to him and you, all but Jihoon going to greet Monsta X.
“Y/N?”
“Hi, surprise!” You waved at him happily and quickly caught him up to speed. “A while ago, someone asked if we were interested in sponsoring the event. Not the whole thing, of course, but you know. I asked my bosses and they said yes.”
Jihoon snuck a peek around in case eyes were on him, and quickly squeezed your hand before passing it off as handing you a lime. “You really do amaze me. I’m glad your doors just keep opening. Um, is it okay, if I come over tonight? I want to talk to you about something. It’s nothing bad, don’t worry, but I need to hear your thoughts.”
You nodded, though you could already feel the anxiety creeping up on you. He squeezed your hand again, and smiled at you.
“You have nothing to worry about, I promise.” He would’ve kissed your fears away, but with everyone watching, all he could do was give you his word.
“Okay.”

Hey there, soooo... I don't know whether you heard about VIXX and Hongbin, but just thought I'd check in, whether you had or hadn't yet. I feel quite bitter. I was very upset with what happened to Wonho last year when he left Monsta X, but with Hongbin it seems like he is quitting being a performer altogether 😖😢
So I am going to be answering this under the cut (both so people don’t have to read a long ask, but also because of the subject matter). Please let me know if you’d like me to remove this as an ask, I’ll repost my opinion as an original.
Disclosure: While I’m very into VIXX and other kpop groups, unless it ends up on my Tumblr dash, I know absolutely nothing about what’s going on. I don’t have most forms of social media. So if there’s are some factually wrong things down below, it’s because I’m only vaguely aware of certain details. Most of this is my own personal opinion and intuitions as well. I will also state here that I know very little about the twitch controversies except for hearsay so I’ll only be referring to one case, the most relevant one.
I was never into Monsta X as I am with my other groups, but I feel like this is worse than when Wonho left. I’m not disregarding that it wasn’t painful or upsetting for Monbebes. But... Wonho left to protect his group. But he’s continuing to do what he loves. I feel like Hongbin is leaving, so he can survive. While I hope that he’s not leaving as a performer entirely, I respect his decision if he decides to have nothing to do with being an entertainer ever again.
So, I’m ngl, I am a combo of a shit ton of things, but mostly, I am a combination of livid and proud.
I am livid at the people who started this shit. I am so fucking pissed because people forget that idols are human beings too. They have feelings, they have OPINIONS.
I am so fucking pissed at the company(ies). I don’t know which company has greatest power in this or who this all happened under, but either way, I am pissed. Jelpi had been using VIXX as a cash cow for years because for whatever reason they could never recreate the same magical process of creating a group within a niche market. Despite VIXX finding a niche market within to thrive, Jelpi stopped giving them that support long ago. And we all know SM’s reputation (for those who don’t know, SM recently acquired Jelpi).
Something that both worries and pisses me off is that SM may not so subtly told him to leave voluntarily. But as far as I know, Hongbin decided to leave, himself. But we’ll most likely never truly know.
I think SM could see the writing on the wall. It already happened twice under the label. After all...
Once is a tragedy. Twice is a coincidence. Thrice is a statistic.
Hongbin would have been that statistic.
And really, that’s what is really making me absolutely livid. Because based on what we’ve seen and heard as fans... I can’t fucking imagine what was going on behind closed doors.
Idols are by no means perfect human begins. But they still don’t deserve this treatment. Including Hongbin.
I am proud of Hongbin so many reasons. From the very beginning, Hongbin was considered one of the weakest vocally. What that means, I don’t really know, I’m not musically trained. But he put in the effort to grow and develop himself as an idol. I mean on EAU DE VIXX, he was a fucking vocal powerhouse! He put all this effort into bettering himself as an actor, as a singer, as a dancer. And yet his company did not pay him the courtesy of that work.
I am proud of him because throughout these years, he’s been very much himself from the beginning, even though that makes him surly as hell, confrontational, sarcastic. He gave us Meme-Bin. He made us feel his pain with the cringe. He worked hard on his dream. It was never a life long dream like it was for Jaehwan. Instead, it was almost spur of the moment. And to me, being able to succeed to some degree of that sudden dream -- that is one of the greatest inspirations anyone can give.
I am proud of him for his strength. He went through years of being put in awkward positions (the Error MV for instance: he was originally suppose to kiss her on the lips and he kissed her on the forehead instead because kissing her made him uncomfortable). Years of being cast in the wrong type of role despite his skills (always cast as the ‘Prince’ type when he could have become an amazing psychotic villain). Years of his hard work being disregarded in favor of being a pretty face.
And he seemingly went through that and probably more that will never know about for years, all with that big cheesy dimpled smile. I think on some level, he’s depressed and has been for a very long time. But for the most part, like most of those who fight with their inner demons, he hid it for everyone else.
I think that during their hiatus TWITCH was his safe haven. It was a place where he could do something he loved and still interact with his ‘fans.’ And when he was asked his OPINION on a REMIX, people decided that that was enough to call for him to be cancelled. And it seems like the company listened to loudest minority. His haven was no longer safe.
I don’t know what happened behind closed doors. I think we all hoped that the company was looking to take legal action against the slander. Now, I’m wondering, did they decide to use Hongbin as a scapegoat for something? I don’t know. I don’t think we’ll ever know.
Hongbin is NOT perfect. He is not without flaw, the same as any other human being. But I do think he’s one of the strongest people I’ve seen.
I don’t know for certain, but I hope leaving was something he decided for himself, and not because of my fear that I said earlier. And that’s why I think he’s so strong.
I think he realized that he was in trouble. And I don’t mean with the fans or the company. I think he recognized that there were somethings were not worth paying for with his life.
I truly think that without the other five being there to help emotionally support him (with the Hyung line scattered to the wind for military service and Ravi off being a workaholic with GROOVL1N), Hongbin would not have survived. I know Hakyeon is coming back soon, but could have Hongbin held out for that much longer?
I don’t know.
I truly believe that if Hongbin was fighting with the company for something behind closed doors, Hakyeon and Jaehwan would have fought for him when he emotionally couldn’t stand up for himself anymore.
I am proud of Hongbin because he knew his worth. He chose to live. Leaving something that I’m sure is all consuming, that takes a lot of strength. That takes a strong sense of self worth (maybe even self love) and the will to live.
With the world going to shit this year, it’s hard to find the good in all this. I try to be forever the optimist. And in my mind, if Hongbin really did decide to leave of his own volition, in the long run, perhaps the world is still progressing to a better place. He decided to make the tough decision now, rather than waiting until it was too much; rather than waiting until he saw no other option than to make a decision that there is absolutely no coming back from.
I’m proud that he chose his health over everything else. Even if it makes me upset to see him go.
Because honestly, VIXX isn’t going to be the same without him.

Your sceptre wouldn’t fit back in the guitar case, having grown a small yet noticeable amount. It looked almost like a double-bladed axe and was now the size of a cello however it was still smaller than the one you had seen in the underworld.
They each began getting ready, Namjoon making strategies trying to determine which side had better odds, and judging by his face it seemed that the numbers weren’t what he wanted to see.
You walked back up to the roof trying to get some air and it took everything in you not to break down to tears. Your lip was dropping, eyes glassy and Yoongi appeared beside you; it was his real form, not another astral projection. You were leaning on the stone wall of the building looking out at the city, wondering where your brother was.
“Alright,” pulling himself up with his arms he kicked his legs trying to pull himself onto the ledge. You bit your lip turning away burying your face in your sleeve trying not to laugh at his struggle.
He let out a frustrated hum looking at the wall and trying again with a little bound, you assisted him with magic. Smiling as he was seated on the edge beside you with a heavy huff, “I will listen to your troubles, I myself have gone through many troubles and if I can’t help I do know a really good spell that helps you forget things.”
“Is it about your magic?” He asked, reaching over his long pale fingers brushing across your neck as he grasped your chin turning your head until you faced him. It was a strange thing. You could be sad and on the verge of tears and never let them slip but the moment someone asked you ‘are you okay?’ or ‘what’s wrong?’ the waterworks would begin.
“Hey, come on sweetheart tell old Yoongi what’s wrong?” He had a mock pout as he asked the dreaded words, and you couldn’t see him anymore the tears had misted up your eyes. He let out a deep chuckle still holding your chin with his left hand and with his free hand he took the cuff of his sweater sleeve in a closed fist and used the fabric on his wrist to wipe your tears away.
You felt so much younger than the sleepy sorcerer, his action was so endearing and safe. Ever since meeting the young men in the Bangtan coven you had felt safe and happy and accepted. But there was a fear that when they found out they would be just like your families coven and they would shun you quickly.
“My magic is not very nice,” you whispered and he nodded thinking of your words.
“I gathered that from both your brothers magic and from what have I seen today,” he spoke gently, understanding your unfortunate circumstance even though it didn’t specifically happen to him, “but magic comes in all different shapes and sizes, who am I to discriminate, it’s too tiring to worry about what magic other people have”
“Sometimes people find it easier to judge someone based on what they see, rather than taking the time to find out who they are and their story.” Yoongi jumped down off the ledge he grabbed your shoulders and tilted your head up. “If anyone alienates you for something you can’t control like the magic you were born with, then it is them who has the problem, not you.”
Yoongi led you down the stairs and you saw the boys excluding Yoongi and Taehyung sitting at the dinner table. There was something on the table, was that… your wallet. You froze the colour draining from your face. Yoongi’s hand gave your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. “What are you doing raiding through her private things.”
“Get away from her, she might kill you,” Jungkook shouted pointing at you accusingly.
“Newsflash you could just as easily kill me, so could Jimin’s plants, Jin’s Potions, none of us and our magic is without risk,” Yoongi stood his ground.
“Look at this Necromancy and dark magic, she probably cursed Taehyung herself,” Jungkook waved his hands around, “he hasn’t woken up hasn’t he?”
“That means nothing,” Jimin said, “are you saying I am dangerous?”
You felt your heart simultaneously sink and sore, their coven was breaking in half but there were some who didn’t fear you or care that you had dangerous magic.
“Necromancer, more like Neck Romancer am I right?” Seokjin grinned standing beside you.
Hoseok who sat at the table in a daze blinked, standing up. “Now isn’t the time we have the Monsta X coven on our doorstep and they are about to start a turf war.”
“I am with Jungkook, I have run the numbers, we don’t have the best odds against them,” Namjoon said running his hand over his face, “we have never run away from a fight but now we don’t have that choice, they are on our doorstep and we don’t have an escape.”
“Boys let’s get up and fight like real men,” Yoongi said, pulling a rolled-up parchment from his pocket with a grin. Everyone took up arms and stepped out of the front door, Yoongi led you out the front door.
Yoongi turned back to the rundown apartments and threw the rolled-up parchment. It unrolled in the air and reminded you of those American movies where the teenagers threw toilet paper at the houses. You wondered if Yoongi had done it before. The parchment landed on the roof and the house turned a see-through green, the same colour Yoongi turned when he astral projected.
“The house is hidden in the shadow realm, Taehyung can leave but unless they can shadow walk and project, then they can’t get in,” Yoongi assured Jungkook, a hand on the younger man's shoulder.
The group turned heading down the street, you didn’t get very far before you saw them. Their coven dressed ready for a fight, weapons drawn. Stomping behind them was a large figure with horns and intense muscles. This monstrous thing was on fire burning low dark smoke pouring into the sky.
The boys stood in front of you, Namjoon and Jungkook did so reluctantly and you saw that thing burning at an alarming intensity. You turned to Namjoon, “shouldn’t we like talk first or something?”
“What is there to talk about?” He growled in your direction not bothering to look at you, shying away from him you were pulled against Seokjin who patted your head affectionately. Hoseok grabbed your hand with a small reassuring squeeze.
Vines began bursting up through the ground around Jimin, a few wrapping around his hands. “You want to know why the apartment we live in is so decrepit,” He smiled giving you a small smile, “because I have been nurturing my plants for years now letting the roots travel down through the walls and into the city, as I walk to work they grow more and more.”
It was impressive that he had been growing these plants for this reason alone to protect his family. The fight began when a particularly muscly figure and the Demon began sending fireballs at the group. Yoongi set up a counter-attack, Jungkook was frozen in place seemingly controlled by a very long-legged gentleman on the other side of the block.
“Keep it up Hyungwon, I will try to trap him now,” a cute young man said, it was almost surprising for them to be so handsome and cute looking. You always thought your enemies were like in the movies skinny and oily, like Snape or Jafar.
Lifting your sceptre you hesitated they were people too, were they really your enemies. You decided to use some light spells unwilling to curse anyone on accident. You were trying to freeze the burning figure, hoping it would slow it down. Casting the spell, it pulled out a weapon flicking the spell aside without care and that’s when you saw it.
The family crest on the pendulum in its hands that wasn’t a demon that was your brother. Cold black smoke began emanating from your body as the intent to kill grew stronger. What had they done? Had they turned him into a monster?

7 Nights of Monsta X
This is a tentative run, please let me know what you think of this intro and what’s going on so far. I try to make them as different and believable as possible!
Tumblr media
“No woman is going to willingly have sex with you,” Wonho laughed drunkenly. “You’ve never even had sex before!”
I.M. nervously moved around in his chair. “I have!”
Kihyun chuckled from his position on a bean bag on the floor, half falling asleep with the empty soju bottle in his hand. “When? That’s what I want to know.”
I.M.’s cheeks flushed red as he nursed his own glass. His hyungs were drunk and teasing him that was all. Dropping his head a bit he mumbled, and looked around the room. “I don’t do everything with you guys! You don’t know!”
“Leave him alone,” Shownu sat back on the couch, his wide, muscular shoulders taking up the little space between him and Wonho. “Changkyun is a baby.”
“A baby!” I.M. stood up angrily. “I’m 23 goddamn years old! How is that a baby! Fuck that! I’m a man!”
Minhyuk rolled onto the floor. “Don’t upset the baby guys, daddy Shownu won’t like it.”
“Let’s just settle this,” Hyungwon shifted on his feet. “I’m going to call a woman of the night.”
Wonho patted his red cheeks. “An escort?”
“That’s what I said,” Teetering to one side, Hyungwon grabbed his laptop and sat down next to Kihyun and Jooheon who was currently sleeping. “Let’s see what the internet can do for us.”
“Miracles.” Minhyuk shuffled closer, resting his chin on Kihyun’s shoulder as they watched Hyungwon.
“Look at this website, you can look at escorts and order them-”
“Order?” Shownu sat up slowly. “That sounds rude, this isn’t like ordering food.”
“We can eat her.” Minhyuk chuckled.
“Eat who?” Jooheon woke up slowly, wiping the drool from his chin. “We ordering food?”
“No,” Wonho positioned his fist under his chin. “Hyungwon is looking for an escort.”
Jooheon rubbed his eyes. “For who? Me? You’re too kind.”
“If we play this right,” Hyungwon clicked through a few ads. “All of us. Why spend more money than what is needed?”
“Shouldn’t she be for I.M.?” Kihyun and Minhyuk looked at each other before bursting into giggles.
“Do it!” I.M. crossed his arms over his chest, sitting back in his chair. “I’ll show you, I know plenty, she’ll love me and I’ll ruin her for the rest of you.”
The room was silent for awhile, the furious clicking and clacking of Hyungwon’s fingers across the keyboard, the only sound in the room.
“Done,” Hyungwon announced, as he sat back and looked at the range of women’s profiles before them. “Now, what type of woman are we looking for?”
“We aren’t actually doing this are we? Not tonight, come on guys.” Shownu ever the voice of reason tried to pipe up before things got out of control.
“See if someone likes thigh riding, blindfolds and toys.” Wonho tapped his fingers together, as the rest of the guys looked at him with stunned expressions. “What? I like that.”
Minhyuk tapped Hyungwon on the shoulder. “Can she be tall? Slim but a nice round ass, if she likes face fucking that’s a plus.”
“Nasty bastards,” Kihyun shook his head. “All of you, I can’t believe I call you my members and these are the kinks you’re into.”
Wonho shrugged, he didn’t care what anyone thought of him, that much was evident.
“But since we’re taking note of these things.” Kihyun chuckled. “Dark hair and soft eyes, I also like choking and to be choked.”
“My god,” Shownu covered his mouth as he laughed. “I knew you were going to say some freaky shit. I don’t care what she’s into, but pretty and sweet.”
“Well?” Hyungwon looked at the remaining three. “Anything specific?”
“Does it let you filter or something?” Jooheon pulled on the edge of the laptop to see better. “Not too pale, I don’t want to feel like I’m fucking a vampire. She has to have some color to her. Maybe a little voyeurism and role play?”
“What about you Hyungwon-hyung?” I.M. kept his mouth shut as he looked at blonde haired singer.
“I’ll keep my preferences quiet for now.”
“What?” Jooheon and Kihyun exclaimed. “Come on you heard all of ours.”
“Yes, well this is going on my credit card so I can do what I want.” Scanning through a few women, Hyungwon stopped on one that made him do a double take. “Her.”
“Oh yea,” Normally quiet Shownu was on the floor now, staring at the woman on the computer screen.
“Does she have more pictures?” Wonho was crowding the rest of the guys now.
Flicking through a few pictures appreciative hums flowed through the group as they commented on the woman before their eyes.
“I like her.” I.M. smiled.
Shownu nodded. “She seems nice and sweet.”
“I’m gonna find out.” Jooheon chuckled, earning a high five from Kihyun.
A few keystrokes later, Hyungwon closed his laptop and picked up his phone. “When she texts me, I will add all of us to the group chat with her, fair? Until then, I’m going to bed, I’m drunk.”
“She’s not coming tonight?” Wonho stumbled up from the floor as well.
“No, tomorrow night was the soonest she had, which gives us time to sober up and cancel just in case. I’m not gonna vomit on her.”
With that he bid his goodnight and walked into his room closing the door gently behind him.
“He better not cancel.” Jooheon fell to one side before getting up. “He’s right though, I can barely stand, goodnight.”
As the rest of the members made their way to their rooms, Shownu stood in front of I.M. clasping his shoulder gently.
“If they decide to go through with this, don’t feel pressured to do anything that you don’t want to.” He squatted in front of a still sitting I.M. “Hear me?”
“Yes, hyung,” I.M. squared his shoulders. “They just get to me sometimes you know.”
“I know,” Standing up Shownu brought the maknae with him. “Don’t take it to heart.”
“I won’t.”
Nodding his head, Shownu disappeared into his shared room with Jooheon.
Cleaning up the bottles, and cups around the room, I.M. bit his lip thinking about the woman that Hyungwon had messaged. He was going to embarrass himself, he knew it. He tried to look big in front of his hyungs but he was a virgin. Not that there was anything wrong with that! He was proud to have made it this long, of course he’d fingered a few girls and had his dick sucked, but nothing as far as actually having sex. Sighing, he resigned himself to another night of jerking off before heading to bed. Maybe that would relieve some stress.
Alexis Andrews was bored, and for her that was a sin on a Friday night. The nightlife of Seoul was steadily calling her, but something about bouncing from club to club just wasn’t doing it for her right now. Sure, her friends had called and texted and facetimed her, but the buttery bowl of popcorn in front of her was more appealing. That and this Chinese drama she just started was getting interesting. The Emperor’s wife was passing her infant son as his, but he was the child of his best General. Shit was about to get real. Pushing more of the buttery treat into her mouth, Alexis rolled her eyes as her phone chimed again. What did they want now? The notification from the website, startled her. Since moving to Seoul, she had some good traffic and plenty of dates with rich men seeking to get that “foreign” kick out of their system. She even had a regular, he was the one who put her into this fancy high-rise apartment. She was damn near his mistress if she was going to play her cards right.  Either way, she smiled at the picture of a young man with blonde hair and thick lips. He was cute, more than that, he was downright fine. Opening the application, she browsed through what he was looking for and wanted.
He was a picky one, wanted a lot too and she was curious as to what level of pervert he was when she saw his last message that he needed someone who was ok with being with six other men.
“Fuck that,” Alexis was about to delete it when she saw the rest of their faces. They looked familiar but she didn’t care enough to see why. They were all incredibly attractive. “K-pop boys?” She wondered out loud to herself, as she flicked back and forth through the three pics he had sent. One of all seven of them. Then split into groups of 3, with the one who applied having sent one pic of himself.
“Hyungwon.” She said and smiled. His lips were definitely his best feature.
Reading the application again, Alexis was trying to decide what to do. “She didn’t do group sex. No trains were going to be ran on her, she was an escort not a $20 prostitute. Instantly, she chided herself, sex work was sex work. No need to shame someone else, but she did have limits and this was one of them.
He had left his number, which was the mark of a serious man and his billing information was in the system for easier access. Ok, so he wasn’t some tool and had an idea of how this worked.
Sighing, she pressed his number and looked at the time. Maybe he was still awake.
“Hello?” Who Alexis assumed was Hyungwon answered sleepily.
“Hi, this is Alexis, you messaged me.”
When it remained quiet, she clarified. “The escort.”
“Yes,” Hyungwon answered excitedly. “Hold please?”
His English was good but she could tell he might have a hard time understanding her. Her Korean was still baby-ish but enough that she could hold a conversation as long as someone didn’t speak fast. Either way, she listened to the shuffling, doors opening and closing as Hyungwon began to speak to someone else.
“Hello? This is I.M.”
“Yea,” She smiled at this voice and wondered who he was in the picture. “This is Alexis, Hyungwon messaged me, the escort.”
“Hello, he’s making sure we don’t mess up. I’m sorry about that.” She could tell he was smiling.
“No, it’s fine, my Korean is patchy, but I do well enough. So, I wanted to tell you guys I don’t do group things. I’m interested but not with all seven of you at the same time.”
She waited while I.M. explained this to Hyungwon.
“I’m sorry, he didn’t mean to make it seem that way. It’s one on one,” I.M. got quiet. “Some may want a threesome, two and you. He isn’t sure.”
“That’s fine,” Alexis chuckled. “I can handle that, I’ll let you guys get back to sleep and I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Yes,” I.M. and Hyungwon answered at the same time. “Goodnight, Alexis.”
“Goodnight, fellas.”
Hanging up, Alexis stretched as she got up from the couch. “Seven guys, Hyungwon and I.M.” She was instantly attracted to I.M.’s voice, the rich sound of it and the way he pronounced his words. Hyungwon had a good voice as well but it was his picture the way he stared at the camera that made her womb lurch inside of her.
Tomorrow was going to be an interesting day for sure.

The Contract - Chapter One
Tumblr media
Masterlist | Requests are open.
Genre: Angst, fluff, smut.
Genre of this part: Angst.
Word Count: 2.6k.
Summary: Your life is turned upside down when a contract is pushed your way. But what happens if you sign it?
Warnings: BTS arguments, mentions of other groups in a sexual setting, multiple sexual partners suggestions.
Tumblr media
Taehyung plonked himself down on the makeup chair, a sigh escaping his lips as he did so. He was tense, frustrated, and completely exhausted. There were heavy bags under his eyes from all the training, physical exertion and the lack of sleep that made him look a good ten years older than what he actually was. And he wasn't the only one looking that way. All six of his brothers were the same. And, as a result, each one was irritable and prone to snapping at their members with no warning. It was like the seven of them were walking on eggshells, constantly tiptoeing around one another in fear of starting an argument. They'd been doing this for five years. And whilst they enjoyed it, they were tired. Physically and emotionally.
They were tired of the early mornings and the late nights. They were tired of the plagiarism accusations and hate. They were tired of their privacy being invaded, by the press, the fans and even themselves. Their six-bedroomed apartment (that was originally four) was so small and pokey, with thin walls, there was just no privacy at all. Jungkook couldn't count the amount of times he'd walked in on one of his hyungs doing something, either in the bathroom or on their bed. He couldn't count the amount of times he'd had to shove his headphones in his ears to drown out the sounds of sex coming from bedrooms across the apartment. Well, that's a lie. He could. But that was only because his hyungs getting laid happened so infrequently he couldn't exactly complain about the noise. Not when it was something they obviously needed.
That was one of the few things that they loathed about their job. Worldwide, there was this assumption from the general public that with fame came thousands of young women willing to throw themselves cunt-first at their favourite celebrities and that they'd be having sex all the time. The Rolling Stones managed it. They were constantly involved in some kind of sex scandal, Namjoon was pretty sure of it.
But Bangtan Sonyeondan didn't get that side of fame. They got the busy schedules and the untrustworthy women who would be more than willing to sell just how big the member's dicks were to the first magazine who would buy her story. The boys couldn't trust anyone, and, as a result of this, couldn't do what normal twenty-year-old men usually do which was getting balls deep in the first consenting woman they could find. Hoseok couldn't remember the last time he felt a woman. The warmth and wetness that he heard so often in porn. Instead, like his members, he was forced to lube up his hand (or his Fleshlight if he was lucky enough to be at home at home) and go to town listening to two people fucking, wishing it was him.
The lack of intimacy made them frustrated in more ways than one. Sexually, of course, but also generally. It had gotten to the point where, the morning before a performance, Jimin and Jungkook had broken out into a huge argument over something so small and trivial, no one could remember just what it was about. The hyungs could just hear bickering coming from two of the maknaes, and the words becoming more and more venomous as the argument was allowed to continue. Yoongi rolled his eyes, locked his phone, and stood up, removing himself from the chair and heading into the corridor.
"Right!" His voice was loud and dominating, and echoed around the hallway. Despite the volume, he still hadn't raised his voice. Not really. Despite the steely tone his voice carried, he was still as calm and serene as ever. The power of his voice rang with, was enough to silence the arguing brothers, and force their attention onto him. "I don't give a fuck what this is about," Yoongi continued sternly, "I don't give a fuck who started it and I certainly don't give a fuck as to why you're still continuing. What I give a fuck about is the fact that there are thousands of Armys outside that door, waiting for us to put on the performance of a lifetime. And so help me God, if either of you let them down I will strangle the pair of you. Do you understand me?" Jungkook and Jimin didn't answer verbally, they just nodded. They daren't mess with Yoongi when he put on his 'dad voice' and threw his weight around.
Yoongi stepped back, no longer blocking the entrance to the makeup room and pointed to the door. "Now, get in there and get yourself sorted. ___'s been in there for ages waiting for your sorry asses and it's not fair on her to have to work overtime when you two can't help but butt heads. Go on."
You were stood at Jungkook's station, joining the rest of the room in silence as you listened to what the argument was about. Jungkook's regular artist was out for the day. She couldn't leave her bed apparently. Which is why you chose to step in on her behalf. Jungkook sat next to Taehyung, throwing himself down onto the chair just as his hyung did. He was clearly so done with everything, you weren't entirely sure what to say. Instead, you did what you knew would make him feel better by leaning down over him, and dangling your arms over his shoulders, resting them on his chest, hugging him from behind. Jungkook always loved it when he was in a bad mood and someone hugged him. And he loved it even more when it was you doing it.
"What was that all about?" You asked gently as you began working on his face. Not that he needed it. He was so infuriatingly beautiful without makeup, it made him ethereal when he wore it.
Jungkook sighed, frustration ever present in his voice. "Hyung taking things too far again. Not being able to take a joke."
"What was the joke?"
"Some crack about how his voice sounded like he was on helium."
You rolled your eyes and tutted. "Before a show, JK. That wasn't very smart was it? You know how he feels about his voice. Even at the best of times he's insecure about it."
"I just wanted to lighten the mood, ___-ah. I promise I didn't mean to offend him."
"I know, honey. But there's a time and a place but this is certainly not it."
"But he didn't just tell me to shut up like he usually does. He went really off the rails." Jungkook's expression changed from annoyance to worry. "He's never done that before. He started screaming at me. Calling me impertinent and disrespectful. I just wanted to make him laugh."
You could see his eyes beginning to water. "Okay. Alright. Here's what we'll do: we'll stop talking about it, and you won't cry and ruin everything I've already done so far, okay?"
Jungkook chuckled a little and nodded.
The concert went well, thankfully, and everyone put their differences aside to perform properly. But when the curtain fell, so to speak, and they were sure they were away from the fans, tensions began to rise again.
The car ride back to the hotel was silent but tense. No one dared say anything just in case the hatred for one another would spread. Jin sat there, looking out the window, watching the nightlife roll by and wondered how it had come to this. How they could have gone from being on the top of the world to almost hitting rock bottom. He'd been thinking it for a while, as had Namjoon. Maybe they should give it a rest, and move onto separate projects. Maybe.
They all sat in the only suite of the booking, and made sure Jimin and Jungkook could see each other as they discussed the events that had unfolded not five hours ago. Sejin, one of their managers, decided it was his job to join the discussion on behalf of the company, and as a friend, given that the argument was so large, it tore a hole in their teamwork. The boys confessed their feelings, confessed how tired they were, and how lonely they felt, and that they just didn't know what to do.
Things were resolved within two hours, a record for the boys. Usually arguments would last a week and would need a whole weekend of calm discussions to put the fire out. Maybe it was because of how fast Jimin and Jungkook were willing to apologise to one another. No one knew. But what they did know was that they were all physically and emotionally drained and were ready for their beds.
Sejin thought for a moment. His mind was ticking like a clock as he processed everything he'd heard and everything he knew after spending many years working alongside the band, and in the music industry. His voice raised as he spoke. "I think I might have a solution."
Jin, "A solution?"
Namjoon, "To what?"
Sejin, "Your problems. Well, some of them anyway." He was tentative with his words, carefully treading on untouched ground, not fully knowing how the boys were going to take his proposition. "There's this... arrangement I've heard of.."
Yoongi, "Nothing illegal, I hope."
Sejin shook his head. "No. Nothing like that. But, of course, it's still a very hush-hush topic. If fans aren't happy about idols dating, they most definitely won't be happy about this.
"You'll be surprised at the amount of bands who actually do this. It sounds worse than it actually is, and even female bands do it too. What they'll do, is they'll find someone within their company, someone they can trust and are attracted to, and will contract her to be intimate with them."
"So they turn a staff member into a prostitute?" Yoongi's question came out more like a statement, one he was disgusted in.
"No. Because the intimacy some band members have with her isn't sexual in the slightest. Sometimes it's making out on the sofa when they need it, or being cuddled to sleep. They move her into their apartment with them, and basically call on her when they need her... for whatever. Kihyun apparently gets MONSTA X's Affectionate to cook for him. Not because it's a sexist thing, but because, to him, it's such a sweet gesture. It's one extra thing for him to not have to worry about. Plus, apparently, she's amazing in the kitchen.
"I know that right now you guys are void of a good fuck," Sejin continued, "and maybe your lady could start out as being just that for you, when she consents to it. But over time, all you might require from her is a hug, or even a movie night. I know what you guys are like."
"Isn't that a bit weird though?" Namjoon asked. "We'd be sharing one woman?"
Taehyung chimed in. "Are you worried about jealousy?"
"That and the fact that she'd literally be our whore... even if she's not having sex with us. I don't know. If we had a partner each it wouldn't be as weird."
"Well, we can't afford a woman for each of you." Sejin countered. "It's one or nothing."
Jin laughed. "Bullshit you can't afford it. The company turns trillions over each quarter."
"I wasn't talking about financially. We can't afford to essentially lose seven women from the company. Because even though they'd still be working for Big Hit, you're essentially her boss. She'd be at your beckon call. Plus it will also teach you little shits some self-control." Everyone laughed. "You don't have to agree to it right away. Think on it, discuss it and let me know."
Namjoon hesitated, then spoke. "You say other bands have them. Who? I want to know what their relationships are like with their... whatevers."
"I'll email a list to you as soon as I get back to my room." Sejin offered.
Jungkook, "What? Do you managers have a group chat or something where you talk about who the band members are fucking?"
Sejin stood and turned to walk away. "Yes. We do." He joked.
Tumblr media
"Sejinnie-hyung has sent me the email of bands." Namjoon announced as the members lounged on the sofas.
"Who's on there?" Yoongi asked.
Namjoon tittered. "Pretty much everyone we know. GOT7, EXO, VIXX, MONSTA X, SHINEE. The list seems endless. I guess we really didn't know just how common this was."
Jungkook, "You guys aren't seriously considering this, are you?"
Hoseok, "If it's going to make sure everyone here stops being so pissy all the time then yeah, I'm all for it."
Namjoon, "Well, there's certainly no harm in asking around is there? We'll do some research, come back with what we find and then make an educated, unanimous decision."
The boys did just that. At first, they couldn't believe that they were even entertaining the idea. It seemed so morally wrong to pluck one of their staff members out of all of them, move her in with them and fuck her until she couldn't walk. Who would they even choose anyway? How would it work? Their apartment was hardly big enough for them, let alone an additional person. Where would she sleep? Would she get her own space? Would they find anyone who would even consider entertaining this idea either?
They were told that some of their friends had these women. So Namjoon asked around. He called some of their colleagues who were experienced with this kind of thing and did the research for the band, returning to them with his findings. And, ultimately, there were more positives than negatives. Jackson, one of Namjoon's closest friends, explained GOT7's relationship with their lady. They call her their girlfriend, because that's essentially what she is. She's polyamorous, and is in love with all of the members, just as they are with her. Jackson admitted that it was odd, at first, given that they were all dating the same woman. But, in a strange way it just made them that bit closer. She's the calming outsider who knows them back to front and inside and out, who stops arguments before they begin and takes their stress away. And, they do the same for her. They love her, as she does them. She even refused to renew the contract because she wanted to stay with them. Of course, JYP made her sign a new one to cover their backs, but that's the only reason why they have a contract in place.
The more they heard about it, the more they warmed to the idea. And so, within a week they'd pulled Sejin to one side and told them they wanted to go ahead with it. Sejin was pleased. "Excellent! So," he pulled out his phone and looked at the boys expectantly, "tell me a few qualities you want her to have, and what you each want out of the relationship."
"A relationship." Namjoon told Sejin. "We want what GOT7 has. We want her to be a good friend of ours -"
Taehyung, "Warm."
Jin, "Kind."
Jimin, "Gentle."
Jungkook, "Sweet."
Hoseok, "Kinky." Everyone stared at Hoseok. "What? You were all thinking about it!"
Yoongi shook his head, but he didn't disagree. "We want someone who thinks of others. Who will do the little things that other people think doesn't matter. Someone open-minded who will let us take care of her as she will of us."
Namjoon, "She also has to be single. We don't want to break up a love that's already there."
Sejin stopped typing and locked his phone, a smile forming on his face. "I know exactly who you want."

Soft or silent - Wonho Mafia!AU
@ilook-soperfectstandinghere14:  Hi there, I recently had a very horrible day at work where comments kept building (mainly from my boss) and I ended up crying… please could I have a EXO or bts or monsta x mafia scenario with any member/s where this has happened and they comfort the reader please?? Thank you xx
Hello sweetheart, I usually try to press these kinds of requests forward but I sadly wasn’t able to do it this time around. We will however try to do 1 member for each group so I thoroughly hope you enjoy :) ~Hyejin
Tumblr media
Fluff and angst ;  Mafia!AU
Word count: 930
Warning:  Violence and blood
Wonho was thought to be the softy in his Mafia group. He was mocked for it. The thing was, you had nothing to argue against this. He was in fact extremely soft with you. He never got mad and if he did get mad at someone, he would just become extremely silent. This meaning you had never seen him as furious as he was this time around.
You had come home upset yet silent. You tried to make your way to the bathroom unnoticed, so you could wash away the stress and anxiety, but Hoseok wouldn't let you pass that easily. The second you stepped inside, he knew something was wrong. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?" He asked, slowly walking up to you. You shook your head as you glanced down at your feet. "Nothing wrong, just tired." He placed your face in his comparatively large hands, lifting your gaze to meet his. "Don't lie to me, I know you've been crying." you let out a heavy sigh and nodded, trying to prevent more tears from falling. Hoseok never told you, but he knew your colleagues and boss weren't treating you properly, and he had been itching to do something about it. This being the last drop, he took you into his arms, letting you cry it out into his chest. He hated seeing you like this so much.
"Why don't you go take a long warm bath." I have some work to do but I'll be back in an hour, alright?" He asked, his voice, his touch, his features, all comforting you. You nodded, hugging him once more before continuing your way to the bathroom. As soon as you closed the door, you heard him talking on the phone before the door closed and he left.
A few blocks away from your home, a man lay pushed into a wall, out of sight of passerbyers, two other men staring down at him with a dangerous look. "Well, well, you keep finding yourself in trouble, don't you?" one of the men spoke, crouching down to his level. "Please, I paid you back, I didn't do anything. please just leave me be." The man nearly begged. "We're not here for your money." One spoke. He was truly at loss for what he had done, for what he was to do, and how he'd end up. "Then what? Tell me, I swear, I'll do anything." The men stayed silent, just forebodingly grinning down at him.
"Bad karma finds bad people. Or in this case, bad people find bad people." Another voice was heard from behind the two and one of them let out an ominous snicker. They stepped out of the way, towards the man. "Don't mess him up too bad this time." one of them said and he stepped into his vision. "Wonho! I swear! I didn't do anything! I swear!" Hoseok calmly walked up to him, nodding as he knelt down next to him. "Now, a little birdy told me that you" He ripped off the man's sleeve from his expensive suit "have been treating people around you with less than good manners. Might wanna bite down on this." Hoseok shoved the sleeve into the man's mouth and the man only looked up at him with a terrified expression. "Now I don't like people with bad manners? you know that." The man vigorously nodded before screaming as a knife was suddenly shoved into his leg. "No you don't. Otherwise, why did you do it?" Hoseok sighed "Did you wish to disobey me?" he shook his head, whimpering. "Good, now" The bloodied knife ran across his cheek, barely piercing his skin "I want to make a little deal with you." Hoseok's eyes suddenly snapped from his blade to the man's terror filled orbs. The man visually shook, filling Hoseok with content as he believed he would listen to his proposal. "You make sure you treat people more than nicely, and that your work place is just nice and peaceful, and then, I might let you live." he gave his reasonable request, the man quickly nodded in agreement, still whimpering. "Good." Hoseok stated, shoving the knife back where it was in the man's leg before standing up. The man's screams of agony were still muffled by his sleeve as Hoseok walked away, the two other walking back towards the man to 'clean him up'.
"Oh, and one more thing," Hoseok halted in his track and turned back around "If anyone finds out about our little meeting, I will make sure you'll never see the light of day again for the things you've done." With that, he walked back to his car, dusting himself off.
"Wonho?" You called as you came home a bit late that evening. "Y/N, how come you're only home now?" He wondered, helping you with your jacket. "Just worked a bit longer is all." Hoseok's expression immediately fell and became unreadable. "Did your boss make you work extra again?" "Actually no, he's been nice for a change, I just took on a new project is all." You smiled up at him. You were all too aware of what kind of trick he had pulled on your boss, it was the limp that gave it away, but you couldn't find it in your heart to care for the well being of the wretched man. Hoseok's smile immediately appeared again and he guided you to the couch and getting you a warm drink. He might have been a big softy, but he was a dangerous one once you got on his bad side.
♥Thanks for reading ♥

Electric Shock
Part 22/30
Genre: drama, romance Rating: PG-13 Group: Monsta X Summary of previous chapter: Hyo-jin remembers the memories she lost, except when she was about to grasp the key to her lost memories of Monsta X she is woken up by the doctor. The next day, Jooheon and I.M. visit her.
Disclaimer: This is 100% fictional and my own story. It is unrelated to the actual events and real persons of Monsta X and Starship. Hyo-jin Lee is a completely made-up character that I created for this fanfic. Parts will be written in Korean with English translations. I did not major in English/Korean, nor was I ever strong in English/Korean grammar, so there will be grammatical mistakes. This is also the first fanfic I have ever written, so please overlook small mistakes. This fanfic is written in third person and past-tense for ease of writing.
Jooheon and I.M. pulled up chairs to sit next to Hyo-jin's bed. Jooheon glanced at her leg and asked, "깁스는 언제 빼?" (Translation: "When can you take off your cast?")
"음.. 8주이따?" (Translation: "Um.. after 8 weeks?") Both of them squirmed hearing the length and I.M. asked, "그럼 8주동안 병원에 있어야 돼?" (Translation: "Then do you have to stay at the hospital for 8 weeks?")
Noticing that the conversation was heading towards when she would leave the hospital, she carefully responded, "아니, 한 1주일? 2주동안 있고 선생님이 퇴원 할수있다고 그러면 집에 갈수있어." (Translation: "No, like after one week? Or two weeks I can go home when the doctor says I can leave.") Hyo-jin silently thought, 'I threw in one week so technically I didn't lie... that much.'
Jooheon smiled, "생각보다 빨리 나올수 있네!" (Translation: "You can leave sooner than I thought!") Hyo-jin's smile faltered for a moment, but she quickly corrected herself before they noticed. She felt bad that they seemed genuinely happy for her that she didn't have to stay in the hospital for too long.
"현우형한테 들으니까 그날은 다 기억하지만 우리만 기억 못한다고..." (Translation: "From what Hyunwoo-hyung said, you remember everything that day except us...") I.M. cautiously brought up. He made a sideways glance at Jooheon before looking back at her, and she noticed Jooheon plaster an awkward stiff smile. 'Uhh...'
She tightened her lips for a moment before replying, "미안.. 가끔 충격 받으면 이렇게 기억이... 없어져... 근데 또 생각안할때 돌아와." (Translation: "Sorry.. I lose memories... when I experience a shock... but they come back when I least expect it.") She saw Jooheon's eyes lower from her face to the bed, so she added, "그래서 다들 기억은 안 나지만, 이렇게 얘기 하니까 편한 느낌이 들어." (Translation: "So I don't remember you all but talking to you guys gives me a comfortable feeling.")
At that, Jooheon lifted his head and smiled warmly. I.M. saw the obvious change in Jooheon's smile and shook his head while laughing to himself. He teased his older friend, and rattled off to Hyo-jin, "이형이 되게 실망 했어, 그때 어렵게 가까워졌는데 까먹었다고 킄" (Translation: "This hyung was really disappointed because it took a while for you guys to get close but you forgot him lol")
Jooheon turned to I.M. and lightly threw a punch at his arm. He growled, "야!! 내가 언제?!" (Translation: "Hey!! When did I?!")
I.M. grabbed Jooheon's wrists before he could throw more punches and said, "어제 말했잖아! 삐진상태에서~" (Translation: "Yesterday! When you were sulking~") Jooheon's eyes grew round and large, and he glared at I.M. as if he was hitting him with his eyes. Hyo-jin laughed at the playfulness and asked, "지금부터 또 알게되면 괜찮지? 그래서 그룹안에서 뭐 하는데? 노래? 랩?" (Translation: "It's okay if we get to know each other today again, right? So what do you guys do in the group? Singing? Rap?")
As soon as she asked, Jooheon raised his arms and I.M. followed suit, albeit rolling his eyes. She stared curiously until Jooheon and I.M. both dabbed and shouted "랩!!! 스웨그~" (Translation: "RAP!! Swag~") Hyo-jin squinted and cringed before bursting out into a fit of laughter. Jooheon looked at her in surprise, wondering what was so funny, while I.M. nodded and said, "weird, I know."
Hyo-jin wiped her eyes and demanded, "그럼 랩 들려줘. 아니면 최근에 나온 곡!" (Translation: "Then rap for me. Or let me listen to a song that came out recently!")
From then on, Jooheon and I.M. excitedly showed her Monsta X music videos and let her listen to their mixtapes. The three of them talked and listened to music for awhile. Hyo-jin felt much more alive and awake; being able to talk to these animated people brought back the laughter and joy in her.
15:50
*Buzzz* I.M. looked down and exclaimed, "아! 형 우리 빨리 가야돼, 늦겠다." (Translation: "Ah! Bro we need to leave, we're going to be late.") Everyone looked at the time, and only then did they realize more than two hours had passed.
Hyo-jin asked, "스케줄 있었어? 그럼 빨리 가야지." (Translation: "You guys had work? Then you should leave.") They nodded and put on their coats, getting ready to leave. Jooheon looked at Hyo-jin and pouted, "우린 다음주까지 못와. 좀 바빠질거라서... 다음주 시간 있을때 또 올게, 꼭!" (Translation: "We can't come again until next week. Things are getting busy... so we'll visit again for sure next week!")
She smiled softly, knowing in her head that this meant today was the last day. She motioned for the two of them to come closer and when they did, she took each of their hands in hers. Jooheon blushed, and I.M. looked at her puzzled. She shook their hands like handshakes and said, "와줘서 고마웠어. 오랜만에 재밌게 논 느낌이었어." (Translation: "Thanks for coming. I feel like it's been a long time since I had this much fun.")
I.M. smiled, seeming slightly confused, and said, "응 또 만나자." (Translation: "yeah let's meet again.")
Hyo-jin smiled and let go of their hands. As they headed out the door and looked back at her, she waved her hands and said, "조심히 가! ... 안녕!" (Translation: "Be careful on your way back! ...Bye!") The door closed and she was left in the empty room once again.
As they stepped into the elevator, Jooheon asked I.M., "마지막에 좀 이상하지 않았냐?" (Translation: "Wasn't it a little weird at the end?") I.M. shrugged at the question, but Jooheon remembered how bittersweet Hyo-jin's smile looked when she was waving them bye. He looked down at the hand that held Hyo-jin's and the heat returned to his cheeks.
When the elevator reached ground floor, I.M. snapped Jooheon out of his daze and said, "늦었어 늦었어!! 빨리 좀 나와!" (Translation: "We're late we're late!! Hurry up!") I.M. ran out to catch a taxi while Jooheon stepped out of the elevator. Someone ran past I.M. and Jooheon to catch the elevator. Jooheon paused and turned around slowly. The door began to close and Jooheon caught a glimpse of the person in the elevator. He frowned and thought, ‘매니저형?’ (Translation: ‘Manager?’) Before he could question it, I.M. hollered for him after catching a taxi.
16:10
Hyo-jin checked her phone for any messages and noticed her mother had sent her a text an hour before.
"그사람이 너랑 얘기한다고 올거야. 비행기표하고 무슨 각서도 가져온데. 15:00" (Translation: "That person is going to come to talk to you. He said he's bringing the airplane tickets and some kind of contract.")
She gazed blankly at the text before realizing there was another text after. She scrolled down and saw that her mother was coming soon.
"저녁때 갈거야. 병원밥도 먹고 뭐 다른거 먹고싶어? 15:05" (Translation: "I'll be there at dinnertime. Do you want to eat anything else, after eating hospital food?")
She replied to her mother that she didn't really care for snacks and set down her phone. Realizing her room was getting darker as the clouds rolled in and blocked the sun, Hyo-jin leaned towards the night stand to turn on the lamp. Just then, she heard the door open again. She looked up and saw the manager.
"오셨어요? 들어오세요." (Translation: "You came? Come in.") Hyo-jin motioned him to the chairs left behind by Jooheon and I.M. The manager closed the door and walked towards her. He bowed and introduced himself, "몬스타엑스 매니저입니다. 회사 대리인이라고 생각 하시면 돼요." (Translation: "I'm Monsta X's manager. You can think of me as the company representative.")
He sat down and handed her a large yellow envelope. As Hyo-jin took out the documents, the manager explained, "비행기표는 두게있고, 여기 각서요." (Translation: "There's two airplane tickets and here, the contract.") He pointed to her copy and handed his copy, which was already signed by him and the company, Starship, CEO. She skimmed over the contract, realizing her copy was in English and their copy was in Korean. She asked, "똑같은 각서인가요? 제가 법적인 언어에 약해서요." (Translation: "Are these the same contracts? Because I'm a little weak with legal language.")
The manager nodded sternly, "네, 똑같은 각서이에요. 모를실까봐 영어로 되있어요. 뒤에보시면 한국어로 되있는 오리지널이 있어요." (Translation: "Yes, they are the same. Yours is in English in case you don't understand. If you look at the back, you have the original in Korean.") Hyo-jin skimmed over the English and read over the Korean contract he had and confirmed that they were the same contract. Though she couldn't understand a couple of difficult words, 99% of the contract was the same. (Translation: "You can't tell anyone -- of course you can't tell Hyunwoo until you leave. He probably can't come because of his schedule, but in case he still comes you are not to tell him about the contract contents or exchange contact information.")
With a vacant look in her eyes, she nodded and slowly signed her name on both contracts. The manager stood and handed her his business card. "무슨 문제든 물어볼게 있으시면 이 번호로 연락하시면 돼요. 그럼." (Translation: "If you have any problems or questions, you can call me at this number. Then.") He bowed and walked out. Hyo-jin stared at his business card and set it down on top of the contract she had just signed. She flipped through the documents and found the airplane tickets. Sighing, she thought, 'well... he sure made it obvious, specifically telling me I couldn't say anything to Shownu.'
Hyo-jin slipped everything back to the envelope and slide the envelope on top of her medical folder. She tucked herself deep under the blankets and closed her eyes, hoping to have a smooth sleep with no dreams.

SSFF Challenge 8 - Introducing Myself!
Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself since I’m still a bit of a newbie in the Simblr community, and @simblrsimplyforfun challenge 8 was the perfect excuse! So here we go =D
Tumblr media
This is me! ^^ 🦄💕 (in a quick selfie without filters xD I hope I haven't scared you 😂)
Introduce yourself, your name, age, where you live etc. What words would you use to describe yourself and why? What words would others use? Tell us some childhood stories that you think show who you are.
My name in real life is Ailén, but my pen name since the age 13 is Piper, nowadays most of my friends call me that name and I’m really more comfortable with it, so please just call me Pip or Piper! ^^ I’m 19 years old and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷
I can describe myself as a kind person, I love meeting new people, to debate about random things with them and listening to them speaking about what they like or their plans, I’m very creative but sometimes I just run out of inspiration 😂 I’m also very affectionate! I love hugging people I appreciate and telling them I like them. Other people... I don’t know, I can’t speak for everyone 8′D but I guess they also see me as affectionate, sometimes even clingy, I act goofy at times (you can see it mostly when I talk, I tend to finish my sentences with ‘ahre’ a lot, which is an Argentinian expression to state you’re just joking), so I guess they think I have a good sense of humor as well, I love making people laugh 😄 I’ve also been called ‘cute’ or ‘adorable’ more than once and I’m proud of it! 😄💕
About my childhood... I dunno it was pretty normal, although I got bullied from 5th grade to second year of high school :( it was tough, I even developed depression at the age of 14 due to the lack of friends and the constant name-calling and pranks, but I don’t know if it would be okay to talk about it since that was on my teen years... Overall, my childhood was okay, I used to be a curious little girl, I loved to wear pink dresses or skirts xD pink was always my favourite colour c: 💟 At the age of 8 I was forced to attend English lessons as an extracurricular activity, and I ended up loving it! I’m currently teaching this language to my bff’s aunt and I’m planning on studying English at university to be a teacher ^.^ I also had a fascination for women as a child, I always created female characters for my stories, or played girl barbies with my friend, nowadays I’m a feminist and always try to defend my fellow women c: (as long as it’s an unfair situation for them, ofc) ♀️💕
Write a little about your simming time. How do you like to play your game? Which style of blogs do you like? Who are your main characters and how did you come up with them? Do you tell people in RL you are a simmer?
I learnt about sims when I was in 6th grade I think, but didn’t take interest on it until sims 4 was announced, so I started palying when I was 15 ^^ I love playing legacy style, and also use the game to take nice pictures (I’m still learning how to edit, it’s quite fun but also time-consuming ;; ).
I follow all the simblrs who follow me tbh ^^ but I love simatography blogs! Maybe one day I’ll learn how to do proper edits and poses, and then I’ll become a simatography simblr 😂
Main characters... I don’t really have, my favourite ones though are Anine and Kyung-soo. Anine was the result of a frustration night *shot* I didn’t use to have much confidence on my sims, so I put all of my effort on her, I really like the facial features of Nordic women, so I decided she’d have Nordic origins, and ended up loving her so much that I posted about her ^^ as for her personality, I didn’t have a slight idea of how her behaviour or characteristics could be, but by that time I was kind of obsessed with Overwatch, and all of a sudden imagined her in a D.Va cosplay thanks to zauma’s CC, so I thought the best was giving her a gamer/otaku likes, and her personality in general is really based off mine, she’s a happy-go-lucky girl in her late teens, always friendly and willing to help people. I had the idea of making an Asian OC the night I went to Monsta X concert, and that way I created Kyung, he’s kind of a frustrated idol lol, he’s got a really tragic story involving being rejected by his parents, friends and entertainment gorups, but is always smiling and tries his best to make people happy, kind of resembling the life of a kpop idol, who only wants to see their fans happy despite of having a tough life uwu
And yes, I usually talk about my strange obsession with sims with people, they don’t see it as something productive, but luckily I’ve never been judged badly because of it. Maybe my mum thinks it gets extreme at times, but I try to balance simming with real life activities :3
Write about your time on tumblr. Maybe some nice stories of the people you met. How you got started. How long have you been on here? What has been good and bad? What kind of things have your learnt? What kind of things do you think you can help other simmers with? Any nice stories from here? Do you still have your first sims?
(I didn’t know if I should have talked about Tumblr in general or the Simblr community... So I made a summary of both just in case)
I started using Tumblr when I was 14, my best internet friend had a blog by those times and encouraged me to make one as well. I was starting to get depressive by those years, so most of my posts or reblogs were about “dark” things (I deleted that blog long ago, lol), so Tumblr was like a safe place, where I could speak my mind out without getting judged, I even met some people who suffered the same illness as me, and they always supported me and gave me strength to keep going on (unfortunately I’ve lost contact with them :c)
Regarding Simblr, I joined in at the beginning of 2018 I think, I wanted to share my ideas with people, but I was too shy then... It was thanks to the SSFF challenges that I started getting out of my cocoon and talking to simmers, and I’m so glad I did! The people I met are lovely and I’m really happy to have them now ^^
Things I learnt are lots of... From meshing or modding, to social values. I mean, it’s always good to have basic knowledge of informatics (it helps a lot, especially where I live), and I’m very grateful for all of those tutorials who taught me so many things. But I learnt one thing or two about people in general, I always used to put words into others’ mouth, I always thought they didn’t like me because of my looks or my behaviour, that they thought I was weird; now, I understand that they might be like me, they’re simply too shy to talk, and I won’t know what they they actually think about me if I never go and say ‘hi’; and now thanks to that ‘hi’ I met wonderful people, people who are creative and won’t judge me... That’s the most precious thing I learnt 😊
I don’t think I could help other simmers from a technician point of view, but I’m always here to talk and share my little knowledge, I love hearing other simmers’ ideas (one of my best friends irl isn’t a simmer, but loves to create OCs and stories, and I’m always there to listen about them c: ), suggesting some other things for their stories, etc. I think I could offer more of a friendship than technical help, but it’s something as well! 😂
And yes, I keep my first sims! In a folder so full of various saves that I must erradicate someday *shot* I had them for three generations, if I remember correctly, the legacy began with a pink-haired sim named Jenna, she married a vampire townie from Bridgeport, they had a daughter, Emilie, Emilie married a townie from University, who was a Plantsim, so they had a plantsim daughter, Wynn, Wynn had an imaginary friend named Percy (who’s also a fairy) and they’re now in University, they’re a couple. I made such a chaos when I was 15 xD
Write about the people you have met here. Do you take part in discord chats? Met anyone in RL? Which simmers influenced you? Do you do RPs?
I don’t take part in discord chats, I made a discord user a few days ago but tbh I don’t use it a lot ;; I’d love to be in a server tho, it’s just that I don’t talk much when I’m in a group ^_^’
I haven’t met any simmer irl, I’d love to, tho! It seems to be a little hard to find simmers where I live 😂
The simmers that influence me the most are marshmallowsims, gruesim, theseprettylittlepixels and lehma! I want to develop my own style though, they’re my biggest references and hope to inspire people as much as they do someday ^^
And I’ve never done RPs, but I’d love to do some! Actually, I’m working on an AU with a sim of nonsimsical ‘s, it’s really fun to plan, and I hope I can do more of them in the future ^^
I think that's all. I want to add that you can always come and say hi! 🖐🏻💕 we can chat about sims or whatever you like, and also, if you got any other question for me or for my OCs (although their character sheets are still pending ;; ) don't hesitate to ask 😊
PS Excuse my horrible English ;;

Part 5:
Tumblr media
You told the Mr.Kwon you were sick so you wouldn’t have to attend classes for a few days. You didn’t think you were ready to look Changkyun in the eyes. Hyungwon knocked on your door the second day you missed classes and meals.
‘I know you are in there,’ he told you. ‘C’mon y/n, let me in.’ You waved your hand at the door and it clicked open. Your small weak figure was in fetal position facing the wall under a very thick blanket. You felt the bed dip as he lied on the other side of your bed.
“I missed you today and yesterday,” he said aloud. You had gotten so used to your form of communication that when he spoke aloud if felt so open. You rolled to your back and his head turned to you.
“I feel absolutely alone,” you huffed staring up at the wood ceiling. “You aren’t. I’m here and Changkyun and Hoseok are here too.” You scoffed at the mention of Changkyun. “I should just run away. A place where I don’t have to be gifted.” “But I need you,” Hyungwon whispered. “You can find another troubled gifted charity case. There are plenty to go around.” You shift to your side to face the wall once again. You felt his arm wrap around you and pull you to his chest without the slightest of struggle. ‘You are no charity y/f/n. I could never fall so hard for another as I do for you.’ He then continued aloud, “You are irreplaceable.” You turn to face him in his embrace. “I don’t get you,” you said. He smiled pulling away as he heard one of your thoughts echo in his mind. However, you didn’t know he was listening. “Okay now get up,” he said as he pulled the blanket off of you. “Hyungwon~ no,” you the blanket back up over your head. “Y/n, now. Cuddle time is over.” “I don’t want to go to classes.” “Who said we’re going to class?” You peeked from under the blanket. “Then where?” “We are going out.” He pulled you from the bed. “I told Mr. Kwon I was sick,” you pulled the blanket around you. “So did I. Let’s go.” You and Hyungwon walked out of the cabin and Mr. Kwon had caught you. “Well, Miss y/n you’re looking well and so are you Mr. Hyungwon.” Mr. Kwon stared at the two of you. He waited for one of you to explain but neither of you said a thing. “Miss Y/n come with me. Mr. Hyungwon you should be in bed if you are sick.” Mr. Kwon gestured to walk beside him. “Why did you want to talk to me?” You asked after Hyungwon left. “I have a proposal. There is a new study within the gifted race. Considering we have had our fair share of criminals we have been looking for a way to strip people of their powers. You are well aware of the inevitable fate that is the final breakpoint.” You instantly imagined your mom locked up in a cell slowly going insane until she dies. “Well, this research could help her.” You looked up at Mr.Kwon with a feeling of hope in your chest. Hope that they would release her. “The process is still experimental but it has worked. If you give the council the okay to use her as a test subject and the experiment works your mother could return to her normal self. It shows that once the powers are removed her body can heal what conjuring does to the body.” “Will she be released?” “Only if it works and she is seen as fit.” “What is this process?” “I don’t know. They didn’t disclose anything about the actual process.” “How long will it take?” “They say 2 to 3 months. I will need your decision tomorrow. Now if you’ll excuse me.” Mr. Kwon then rushed away before you could say another word. You began to walk back to your cabin to hide under your blanket once again. You saw Hyungwon sitting in your spot tossing rocks. “Hey,” you greeted as you sat next to him. “What was that about?” He asked. “You aren’t going to dig through my mind to find out?” You joked as you joined in tossing rocks down the river. “No, from now on I feel you’ll be more open with me,” he said. “And how do you know that?” You looked over at him. “I heard you this morning. If you love someone you tell them everything.” “Will you tell me everything?” You asked. “Down to every detail.” You smiled at his response. There was a long silence. The both of you just sat in the sunlight and watched it bounce off the water. You realized how patient he’s been about you dodging questions. “They want to strip my mother of her powers,” you said bluntly. He looked at you with wide eyes, shocked almost frightened. “Is that even possible?” He asked. “I don’t know. They don’t know either it’s a hit or miss procedure.” “What do they do to strip someone of their abilities?”He knitted his brows. “I don’t know that either. I think I’m going to tell them to do it.” You flipped a rock around in your hand to avoid eye contact. “Y/n, you don’t even know if it’ll work, what they will do to her or if it will heal her. Y/n, are you sure it is the way to go?” He was the voice of reason. You didn’t know. You thought it will hurt her but the outcome is what matters, the chance of a positive outcome was all that mattered. “But what if it does heal her? What if she gets better?” “What about when she realizes what she did to the nurse? What about when she heals and notices her powers are missing?” You shoved your face into your hands, “I don’t know Hyungwon but I want her back. I want her to remember me and forget about the people who got hurt. I know she’ll hate what she did to the nurse and our family but I need her here,” you held back tears in your hands. “I know. Shh shh,” he hugged you and you let out your tears as he rubbed circles into your back and hushed you. After that, you walked into Mr. Kwon’s office and told him you okayed the experiment. You knew the cost and the risks but it was worth it. You met up with Hyungwon to get a coffee in town after classes. He sat by the window people watching as you set the cup next to him. “So how was your day?” He asked as he stood to walk with you back to camp. It felt like an odd question. It was odd because it was the normal thing to ask. “It was the same as every other normal day at camp. And yours?” “Nothing exciting.” “ I told Mr.kwon that I want my mom to go through with the procedure.” “How do you feel about it?” “I feel that I have too much hope for this to work out. If I were to keep telling myself nothing will go wrong I’d be lying to myself.” “I think I have something that can help.” He didn’t say anything until you were both inside the cabin. “I bought this for Changkyun to give to you in return for his lucky bracelet. He gave it back saying he can’t be the one to give it to you.” “This was the thing in the bag wasn’t it?” He smiled with a nod. He pulled out a small blue velvet box and opened it toward you. Inside the box was the small square locket you had admired that day in town. He picked it out of the box. “It’s beautiful. Now I just have to find photos to put in it and then it will be complete.” “Actually you only need one more photo.” He opened the locket and on one side was a photo of your mother. He fastened the locket around your neck.   “It’s perfect, thank you Hyungwon.” You stepped closer to hug him. He returned the embrace and wrapped his arms around you. 'Say it again,' He asked of you. 'No. Not until I can say it aloud.'Changkyun has been making eye contact with you from across the lunch table wondering if he should say anything to you. He was worried that you might yell at him in front of the entire camp. He has never fought with you over something so serious and that worried him the most. He never wanted to lose the friendship he had with you no matter what happened. He decided he’d apologize to you when you were alone. He noticed the shiny gold square around your neck. He knew exactly where it came from. Part of him was unsure how he felt about you and Hyungwon being together. You haven’t said it out loud or mentioned it to anyone but Changkyun knew and he saw it coming. Changkyun wanted you to be happy even if it wasn’t with him. He thought that if anyone deserved true happiness it’d be you. You have been through too many unfortunate events that when you were younger people thought you were cursed. Changkyun was the only kid to hang out with a cursed child. Changkyun found you after dinner sitting off to the side at the bonfire. “You have always been a wallflower,” he said as he walked up next to you. “You know how I am socially,” you said dryly. “I know how you are in everything. One of the perks of being your best friend,” Changkyun slowly broke the ice. “I thought I knew everything about you because you told me everything but I don’t know now.” You stared at the bonfire to avoid looking at Changkyun. “Y/n, I know I should have told you. I will regret it for the rest of my life. Please forgive me, I am really sorry,” Changkyun finally sat down beside you. “I know you are. It doesn’t make what you did right." He didn't respond just pressed his lips together You continued, "Mother would tell me that everyone has flaws and makes mistakes but not everyone tries to make amends and that’s what counts.” You held the locket between your thumb and forefinger fidgeting with the locket as you spoke. “I miss her too y/n.” Changkyun put his arm around you. You leaned on his shoulder. “I’m going to get her back.” Changkyun looked at you confused since the last time he heard she could never be released. “Y/n I know you are upset about her being locked away but you can’t go and break her out. This is serious she killed two people how long before she harms you?” “I’m not breaking her out. The council is putting her through an experiment that strips the gifted of their powers. They believe it can reduce the damage and make her normal again. She didn’t mean to kill him.” “You’re  stripping her of her powers?” You nodded. “Y/n if they get her back to her normal state and she realizes what she did to your family what will happen then?” “I will lie.” Changkyun looked at your expression. You were so determined to bring her back you would lie about something so traumatic. He remembers how much pain you were in after the accident. It wasn’t physical pain but it was more than just emotional. Even he felt your loss. He thought about what happened that day and how it all began. It was a big day for your older brother, Yuto. He played baseball on a club team and they were going to nationals. Your whole family was going to go with him to support him. Your family even invited Changkyun to come along. Your brother caught you as you were packing for the trip. “Y/n?” You turned to acknowledge him then returned to packing. He sat on your bed and folded the clothes that sat on the edge. “Do you think mom is okay to go on the trip? We haven’t seen her in a while.” Your father said your mother was unwell for the last few weeks. He said the stress of being a surgeon got to her and she needed to rest. He always reminded you both about not to bother her not even to say hi.   “Is she going?” You asked confused. “Father packed her a bag so I assumed.” You shrugged. “Maybe she is feeling better.” “Is Changkyun coming?” He asked. “Yeah, he is. Is the whole team going?” “Yes y/n. Minki is coming.” Your brother teased. You balled a shirt and tossed it at his face. “Shut up.” You rolled your eyes. “You know I could-“ “Yuto! No.” “Fine but he would-“ “Don’t even think about it.” He raised his hands in defeat “Fine.” “Can we pick Changkyun up now?” “Sure let’s go.” You both walked downstairs and your father was setting his and mother’s bags by the door. “We are going to pick Changkyun up.” Your father nodded and you two left. When you all came back you loaded the car and drove to the airport. Yuto saw his team and sat with them as you all waited to board. Your mother hasn’t said a word since she came out of her room. She keeps staring off and shaking her head. “Father are you sure she is okay to go on this trip?” “She is just tired and a bit shaken.” “Why?” “She lost a patient,” he whispered. That alone is what pushed your mother over the edge.

“Jealousy” by Monsta X
I love Monsta X for various reasons, mainly due to their overall sound and concept. However, I am sad to admit I’ve only bought one physical album, I don’t know all the members, and I’m usually behind on watching MVs. Before starting the review, I had bought all of the songs from their newest album on iTunes but I hadn’t actually seen the video. I’m a very soft stan when it comes to this group, but I still think others shouldn’t overlook them just because I tend to.
So, I decided to make a review for “Jealousy” because I actually really like the sound of it and I bought the entire album on iTunes without listening to a single song because I can trust Monsta X to make songs I love.
Overall Sound
The sound of this song is actually what makes me like it the most. I’m not big on songs with these types of lyrics, but I really love Monsta X’s sound. It’s really catchy, especially the chorus, which makes it really hard for me to resist listening to it.
MV
I got into Monsta X through the song “Fighter.” I began looking into their other music videos and fell in love with the story they were weaving with some of them. I haven’t watched any of the newer videos (Beautiful being the most recent I watched) but I still like the dark concept they tend to have. The videos tended to be dark while their vocals were so pleasing to the ear.
This video doesn’t have a story to it, but the editing is so beautiful and it made me really excited while watching. I especially loved the quick cuts and the split screen moments. The only part I really didn’t like was the black screen where the members were shown in black and white. While I can understand some logic for it, I found it made me a little dizzy with some of the motions because their location wasn’t that stable. Overall, though, the video did well keeping that dark aesthetic that I really love so much from Monsta X. I especially think that kind of style fits a song about jealousy, too. If you look at the lyrics, the type of jealous and description of turning into a goblin during the rap definitely fit the dark theme, too.
Lyrics Meaning
Now, I usually don’t like songs about jealousy. It’s not something I can relate to on a romantic level because I’ve never been jealous (ignorance is bliss). However, looking at the lyrics of the song makes it a bit more interesting. It’s not just any kind of jealousy - it’s jealousy between members. One of Wonho’s lines is actually “Why are you talking about Shownu?” and one of I.M.’s lines is “I got it, the last out of the seven. Think these guys are better than me?” I think this is actually really good for a song about jealousy because it’s not the typical type of jealousy you hear about in songs - the jealousy where they’re jealous over an unnamed guy. This is them being jealous because the one they like is more interested in the other members. (And I say “one” because they don’t actually say “girl” in the song like in other songs. I know some fans have their beliefs about some members’ sexual orientations and, as a non-female fan, I like it when the songs don’t say “girl” in them because I can relate more).
I will be honest, I sometimes read “imagines” on this website. One trend I’ve noticed is actually people requesting “member of this group being jealous of you biasing another member” or “member of this group being jealous of you being extremely close to the other members.” So this song should appeal to people who request those scenarios if they take the time to look at the lyrics.
Choreography
To really look at the choreography, I decided to watch the VLive dance practice. That was a bad idea. Let me tell you...they’re not wearing shirts. I’m not a chest person, but I think that, if done right, the blazer and no shirt look can do wonders. Monsta X does it with vests included for some and it just looks so good since they’re known for their dark concept (versus S.Coups in SEVENTEEN for CLAP. It didn’t quite suit the bright video since he looked so dark in that setup. Take that opinion with a grain of salt, though, since SEVENTEEN is one of my two ult groups).
There are parts of the choreography I really like and parts I dislike. I didn’t really like the swaying during the slow parts, but I loved the general sharpness of the choreography and the unison. The dance works so that it can be performed as a cover by someone without needed a group. I really liked the fact that they had Wonho and Shownu facing different ways with Wonho’s hand on Shownu’s shoulder as he said, “Why are you talking about Shownu?” (In case you can’t tell, that’s my favorite line because Shownu is my bias and Wonho is my bias wrecker)
There are small touches like that which I really love. The only part that really didn’t click, though, was them bringing their wrists to their faces at the end. I don’t quite get what that was supposed to signify. If anyone does, please let me know and I’ll post an update + credit you.
I’d listen to this song if I was...
This is one of my before work songs simply because I love the sound of it. The chorus is so catchy. However, it’s not a song I want stuck in my head because I only know a few lines (versus “Dramarama,” which I don’t mind having stuck in my head during work because it’s fun to sing the “dramamamama mamama hey” part). As such, it’d certainly be on the playlist for the drive to work, but I’d make sure there’s a cushion of two or three songs before I head in. It’s not uncommon that the cushion actually involves a Monsta X song, as well.
You might like this song if you like...
This was actually the hardest part of this post. I don’t have any songs I can really compare to “Jealousy” in sense of theme. So, I took the situation which I’d typically listen to the song and came up with this list.
“New Heroes” by NCT’s Ten. This is a song I really want to dance to, much like “Jealousy.” It can help get me pumped to do something or even be the perfect song to clean with because of the music.
“Yayaya” by Stray Kids. This shouldn’t be a shocker because I am always talking about how much I love the similar aesthetics of Monsta X and Stray Kids. While the songs don’t necessarily have the same meaning, they both are songs I listen to together when driving to work because they get me pumped to go in. Usually “Yayaya” will be one of the songs I listen to after “Jealousy” so that “Jealousy” isn’t stuck in my head.
Finally, I’ll say a GOT7 song. Because GOT7 is another group which releases song I really like to listen to before work. It’s not uncommon for me to listen to either “No Jam” or “Boom x3″ before work after “Jealousy.” Usually one of the two will be listened to before “Yayaya” and after “Jealousy.”.
Again, it’s really hard for me to pick songs for this because “Jealousy” isn’t really a song that I can easily compare to others. Additionally, I don’t know many songs that fit the theme. Please feel free to let me know of any others you know that may fit it better and tell me why.

i want to live in your world
pairing › hong jisoo x reader
genre/themes › romance, angst | “300 things i hope” by iain s. thomas ; #5: i hope you love someone like the solar system loves the sun
warnings › none
a/n › originally posted on previous account, but because i wanted to organize better i decided to repost it on account that mainly focused on seventeen & monsta x.
(‘Messy, but not in a bad way, lazy, with a bad tendency to procrastinate, and has a laugh that reminds you of ringed planets and shooting stars,’ Jisoo described you - not to anyone in particular, if not to himself.
If there was a word to fully illustrate what he felt around you, it was ‘comforting’; strangely at ease. There was something in you that Jisoo couldn’t find in anyone else. Maybe it was the way you turned back to make sure that he was still with you when walking, or the way your lips curved upwards and your eyes lit up at the smallest things he said, or the way you lip-synced to songs you listened to on your phone when you studied, or maybe it was even the fact that you smelled like morning dew and burning campfires and spring and that by itself possessed him so strongly.
And to conclude: yes, he did love you. But he didn’t love you like you loved him, and it wasn’t that he loved you more. It was that Jisoo loved you in a different way, a way that he knew you’d never do the same.
And to add to the conclusion: yes, he didn’t want to love you.
But when you’d turn around and tease him saying, “You’re so slow,” and when you’d laugh at something he murmured under his breath, and when you’d stop lip-syncing, adorning a soft flush on your cheeks, after you noticed he was watching you, and when you’d get too close, so close he could smell your wild, lively scent, he couldn’t help but love you. It was such a lovely feeling to love you, so lovely it was almost suffocating.
And to continue on with the conclusion: yes, at the same time, he did want to love you.)
“Jisoo you can’t believe what happened today.”“What?” Jisoo asked, chuckling. For some odd reason, you always showed up while he was washing dishes, and rarely any other time, too. (For a month, he experimented washing dishes at different times in random order. 9 out of 10 days, you showed up while he was washing dishes).
“Wonwoo asked me out,” you breathed.
(Before he could say anything else, one look at your expression told it all. You wore a smile too bright and shone a shade too pretty for his world, a world separate from yours. There were some things he simply couldn’t barge into, no matter the case. He didn’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t, shouldn’t belong, because it was no question that even he couldn’t ever make you smile like that, or even dream of doing so.
And because that smile was precious to him, a small, blissful thing, and because you radiated like you stole all the warmth in the world, he’d have to let you go.
After all, it’s so lovely to love someone with a love like that.)
Jisoo smiled. “That’s wonderful.”

TOP 10 KPOP bands (and why)
hmmm i’m gonna assume you mean who i think the best groups are and not who my own personal favorites are, so that’s how i’m gonna answer it.
1. Shinhwa - DON’T EVEN ARGUE WITH ME okay. I’m not a shinhwa changjo, but no one can deny the impact they’ve had on the kpop industry. This year they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary. TWENTY FUCKING YEARS. Other than the years they’ve served in the army, I believe they haven’t had more than a couple of years hiatus, so... It’s really impressive that they’ve kept going for so long without anyone leaving the group or disbanding and reuniting. Also they still make amazing songs to this day!2. DBSK (ot5) - they were my first ever kpop group and I think anyone who got into kpop around 2008~2009 (or even before) would agree with me on this. Mirotic is, in my personal opinion, the MOST iconic song of kpop. Ever. There’s a reason they were the first non-Japanese group to be invited to perform in Tokyo Dome, and they broke the world record for the biggest fandom I believe? (not sure if it was broken again since then but still) Anyways db5k were the best thing ever and I’m still lowkey sad they disbanded because homin/jyj just aren’t the same :(3. Super Junior - ok they are my personal #1 but I’m trying to be objective so I’m only putting them at 3, but it’s a combination of shinhwa and dbsk I guess? They’ve also set some records, but what’s more special about them, the way I see it, is that they’ve gone through so much together and even though there have been a lot of problems, members leaving or on hiatus, they’re still essentially a group and they just keep going. They haven’t gotten support from sm, who debuted them just to do something with all the trainees they had left after they debuted dbsk, and yet they kept going on to become one of the best kpop groups in Korea.4. 2NE1 - I was debating who to put here because personally I prefer snsd and I will put them on the list too, but I think objectively speaking, 2ne1 deserve this spot more. They were so unique and interesting, they were (I believe, but correct me if I’m wrong) the first girl group to do a tough concept, and even though I stopped listening to them in around 2013 and thought their songs weren’t as good anymore, I can’t deny the impact they’ve had on the industry, and the power they gave girls all around the world. I’m sad that they’ve disbanded, even if I wasn’t a huge fan.5. Girls’ Generation - I feel like I keep repeating myself and I’m not explaining myself properly but there’s a reason they became maybe the most popular girl group in Korea at some point... actual queens. I love them so much ;-;6. Big Bang - same with 2ne1, I’m not a huge fan of Big Bang, but they ARE one of the top groups ever. They were one of the first groups to have a huge input on their music, album designs (I think?) and the whole production of their albums, and they pretty much saved yg’s ass. I think there’s a reason that all other yg groups that followed sound pretty much the same as big bang (I don’t mean this in a bad way), because they WORK.7. Wonder Girls - I used to hate them so much when I got into kpop and I have no idea why... I didn’t like their music but I might have been a bit of an anti because Heechul (my ultimate bias) loved Sohee so much and I thought she treated him badly (I was 17 okay I know it’s not an excuse but still. I was stupid back then.) anyways since then one of my best friends ( @xiuniverse61) is a wonderful and thanks to her I decided to give them another chance and I realized they’re actually amazing. Again I’m really bad at explaining ~why~ but they were queens and I really hope they will all succeed in the future (+I said this already but Sunmi’s Gashina was probably my #1 favorite song of 2017).8. Shinee - Just. I don’t know. They were such an important group, to me and to many others, and... It’s been over two weeks now and my heart is still broken because of Jonghyun so I really can’t explain too well because I can’t even think about everything they’ve done...9. BTS - yup. I’m actually putting them here. Even though I really don’t like them. But like I said I’m doing this list objectively, and I really can’t deny how much they’ve done. I personally don’t enjoy most of their songs, but they do create good music for those who enjoy this style, and I think it’s amazing that they’ve managed to become pretty much the #1 most popular kpop group of this time, coming from a small & unknown company. Putting aside my own personal thoughts of them and their fandom, I really had to put them here.10. EXO - a few years ago I never would have dreamed to put them on a list like this, because even though back then I was still an exo-l I thought that it was difficult to say they’re one of the best groups while they were still so new and like... half of their popularity back then was due to sm. But I think they’ve proven themselves above and beyond in recent years, they’ve gone through a lot and they still keep giving us amazing songs. Also, they’re pretty much at the same popularity level of bts so if I put one I have to put the other. :)Other honorable mentions that I didn’t put in the list - sistar, f(x), f.t. island, block b... there are many more but I’ll stop here.also, in case I misunderstood the question and you wanted to know my own personal top10:1. super junior2. pentagon3. wjsn4. seventeen5. monsta x6. mamamoo7. sistar8. snsd9. trax10. it used to be jjcc but now I think... idk there are a lot of groups I love but not in a fandom-kind-of-way, or group like wanna one/rainz/jbj who are very new and temporary... maybe cnblue even though I wouldn’t call myself a boice (what a horrible fandom name lol), but I’ve always loved them a lot

MONSTA X BROOKLYN 99 AU
SHOWNU
The new captain assigned in the nine-nine. The nine-nine is Hyunwoo's first precinct, and being the youngest captain in the department, he wants everything to go well. He doesn't need to worry too much about that though, because the sergeant, Hoseok, is very good at handling the squad. His secretary, Minhyuk, also seems very reliable (and also really cute if you ask him) so he has high hopes in running the precinct. The antics of the squad keeps surprising him and causes him stress sometimes but overall they're good people and they do their jobs well.
Tumblr media
Hyunwoo waits anxiously inside the elevator, two floors from below him will be the start of his career as a captain. He is slightly nervous, passing the exams is a completely different story from actually running a precinct and handling people. He's also excited, this will be a whole lot of an experience for him and he can't wait to learn new things from the squad. The elevator dings and the doors open. He is greeted by the sight of balloons stuck to the ceiling and a red carpet laid out in front of him. He cautiously steps out of the elevator, the moment he did, he hears a pop from his side and confetti flies in front of him. A man about his shoulder-length with ash gray hair steps in front of him. He makes circular movements with his right hands and bows, his right hand extended and his right arm on his torso. A white-haired man steps in front of him. He makes circular motion with his right hand and bows, his left arm on his torso and his right arm extended. "Welcome to the nine-nine Captain..." he trails off and raises his head to look at Hyunwoo. "Son. Son Hyunwoo." "Welcome to the nine-nine Captain Son." He fully stands up. "Rest assured that will precinct will be the best you've handled yet." "This is actually my first," Hyunwoo says. "Then we will make sure that it won't be the last. "Turn up the music!" The man shouts. Gangnam style starts playing from a stereo Hyunwoo is not sure where at and the people in the room starts dancing. As he watches the scene in front of him, he thinks that this will certainly be a whole lot of experience.
WONHO
The sergeant of the squad. He had been the sergeant for 4 years in the squad so he sees every detective under him like his children. So as every parent is to their children, Hoseok tends to be very soft to his squad. Whenever some of them are in a pinch he will come running even if he was in his robes (Minhyuk just couldn't wait for that bacon to be cooked and somehow caused a fire.) He is just a little softer (or harder, Changkyun comments) for their resident beauty Chae Hyungwon. He had worked with Hyunwoo back when he was a detective and had seen how capable he is. So when he heard that Hyunwoo was going to be their new captain, he knows they're in good hands.
Tumblr media
It shouldn't have surprised him really. He had been together with them since Changkyun first joined so he knew them like the back of his hand. He knew that they would do something for their new captain. Something like dressing up Romeo and Juliet kind of costumes and the one wearing Juliet's would launch a speech about his love for Romeo, like what they did when he first came. He just didn't expect a full-blown party that resulted to 3 detainees breaking out. He now stands in front of their new captain in his office, profusely apologizing for the trouble the squad has caused him but not before telling Jooheon and Changkyun, the mastermind behind all of it, to clean everything up all by themselves. Including the cake that exploded all over the floor. "It's alright serg. I share the fault with them. I was too amused to stop them. This precinct is something, we didn't have anything like this back at the one-eight did we?" "No sir," Hoseok answers. "So tell me about the squad." They watched everybody from the office window. "Aside from the presumably wild side that I have already seen. How are they as detectives?" Hoseok bows his head in shame but quickly regains himself. "That's Im Changkyun," he points at Changkyun who is serenading a very irritated looking Kihyun using his map as the microphone. "He's the youngest in the squad but also the smartest. He solves all the cases handed to him faster than any detectives here." Hyunwoo nods at that. "Lee Jooheon," he points at Jooheon who doing a dance accompaniment, by flapping his arms around, to Changkyun's serenading Hoseok sighs. "He's the best at apprehending criminals. Not one criminal had able been to get away with him in pursuit. He's fast and strong." Hyunwoo hums. "Chae Hyungwon," he points as Hyungwon who is fondly watching the little love story unfolding before him. "He's good at interrogating. He made a criminal confess 10 minutes after he was detained. He has this certain charm the people just can't. It's like his presence alone makes people want to worship. "Hmmm..." Hyunwoo side eyes Hoseok. "What?" "Nothing, go on." "That one's Yoo Kihyun," he points at Kihyun who finally had enough of the serenading and storms into the break room, making Changkyun and Jooheon get back to cleaning with a pout on their face. "He's on par with Changkyun in solving crimes. He keeps trying to beat Changkyun on who can solve a crime the fastest. He may be small but he's strong too." "He's not in good terms with him?" Hyunwoo asks. "Oh no, they're really friendly outside working cases. I may be their mother hen but Kihyun actually babies Changkyun a lot." "Their mother hen?" "Uh huh. Got a problem?" Hyunwoo chuckles. "Nothing. Go on." "Well they're all there is," Hoseok concludes. Hyunwoo looks at him. "What about the blonde over there?" He points at Minhyuk who is making Hyungwon watch a video. "Oh Minhyuk. Minhyuk isn't really a detective. He's kind of like a secretary here. He's very good at gathering information though. He's really good at talking and handling people. He's the one comforting victims. Ome time, while he was comforting one, he managed to get a crucial clue from the victim. Sometimes a casual conversation is the best way to get information." "Your dynamics are wonderful. One makes up for what another lacks." "I guess." Hyunwoo extends his right arm to him. "I look forward to running this precinct and working with the squad sergeant Hoseok." Hoseok takes it. "We're looking forward to working with you too, Captain Son."
MINHYUK
The one who sees everything. He knows everything that's going on in and out the precinct. He knows the 3-week expired cheesecake in the HR's refrigerator, the guest list of the daughter of the federal justice judge's wedding, and the requited love between the sergeant and Hyungwon courtesy by Hyungwon's drunken confession. He is a good listener as much as he is a good talker so the squad comes to him whenever they want someone to talk to. (He's also a single pringle that super available especially for their new captain)
Tumblr media
Minhyuk looks at his watch. It's been thirty seconds. His pizza should have been fully reheated by now but the microwave is still on. "You guys, new captain, new microwave. I'm not the only one being trolled by this microwave right?" "You're right. I heard Hoseok had been with the captain back then. You could talk to him and maybe he'll talk to the captain for us," Hyungwon says. Minhyuk smiles. "What?" "Nothiiiing~ Maybe I should talk to Hoseok," he sing songs. "That's what I said." "Hm. Hm," Minhyuk replies and goes back to his pizza. One full minuter later, he finally takes the pizza out of the microwave. He manages to take his first bite before Hoseok comes looking for him. "Min. The captain wants to see you. "Everybody does," he says. He takes a second bite of the pizza before walking over to their new captain's office, leaving the pizza vulnerable to anyone. "Good morning Mr. Lee," Hyunwoo greets him when he enters the office. "Hi Cap, call me Minhyuk. We're going to be friends now," Minhyuk says. "Alright Minhyuk," he extends his arms to him. Minhyuk takes it in a handshake and Minhyuk notes of his strong grip. Perfect for holding me down. Hyunwoo releases the handshake. "So, Minhyuk, the serg told me about the squad and you. You have a great team by the way." Minhyuk tilts his head in agreement at that. "I can't ask him about himself because it's always a burden to someone when asked to tell them about themselves. Therefore, I'm asking you about him." "Of course Cap. Shin Hoseok is one hell of a detective. He's great at solves every crime given to him. He has no unsolved crime on his record. He's not fast like Changkyun but he makes sure that he solves everything. He had a 2-year running case before and he was solving it while working on other cases." "Hm. He's really one hell of a detective," Hyunwoo says "Uh huh," Minhyuk replies. "Thank you Minhyuk. Please call everyone in the briefing room. I'll be there in a minute." "Aye aye Captain," Minhyuk says while doing a salute.
KIHYUN
The little monster of the group. He had been underestimated because of his height when he first became a detective but he worked harder than anyone else. He tends to be very cautious and wary of his surroundings, so one should be careful when approaching him from behind or else they'll walk away with a broken arm. (He totally does not regret putting Changkyun in his place when he surprised Kihyun from behind.) He's also very competitive and he considers Changkyun to be his rival in terms of work (and Jooheon in terms of Changkyun's attention)
Tumblr media
Kihyun sits at the front beside Hyungwon. Hoseok and Hyunwoo come into the room and Hyunwoo gathers their attention. "Good day everyone. I'm your new captain Capt. Son Hyunwoo. I'd like to know more about everyone but we have three detainees to get back," Hyunwoo says, looking at Jooheon and Changkyun who are sitting on the back. "We have to make this fast so we're going to get everyone work." Hyungwon heaves a sigh. "I'm also joining one of you to see how you work on the field." "Nice," Jooheon says. "Detective Chae, you're with me. Our detainee is Kim Doohyun. He's been accused of robbery." He shows a picture of a grumpy looking man with black hair. "Detective Yoo and Seargent Lee will be working together. Your detainee will be Man Goryu. He's also been accused of theft." He shows a picture of a man about his early twenties protruding eyes. "As for you detectives Im and Lee, you'll be going after Nam Chanho. He's been accused of homicide." He shows a picture of a buff guy with a scar on his lips. "Oh wow, we get the worse and scariest of them all," Jooheon remarks. "The two of you caused this, you really should have seen this coming," Kihyun says. "I know right? This is going to be awesome!"  Changkyun says and hi-fives Jooheon. "You two are hopeless," Hyungwon says. "You mean holess because, this precinct just lost Chan-HO," Jooheon says. "Yes. And it's your job to catch them," Hoseok says. "Yeah," Changkyun replies. A moment of silence passes the room as everybody looks at Jooheon and Changkyun. "That's all detectives," Hyunwoo finally speaks. "Good luck on your assignments. Dismiss." Hoseok approaches him. "Ready to do this Kihyun?" "I was forced ready." "Awwe come on, no need to be so begrudging. Let's go make this precinct HOfull. Hey, that's in my name also. So I guess this precinct is already HOfull. Oh no, what should we do Kihyun?" Changkyun and Jooheon need to stop talking for one day. "Our target is Man Goryu serg," Kihyun reminds him. "Then I guess we'll make this precinct YUfull. Hey, that's also your name." "Oh my god. Someone save me."
HYUNGWON
The fairest of them all. Hyungwon is that mysterious co-worker who you don't know anything about except their wardrobe. (The ever curious Minhyuk and the always-up-to-no-good duo Changkyun and Jooheon once followed him to find out where he loves and they ended up being locked in a warehouse for 8 hours) Hyungwon just loves his privacy and solitariness. He's not distant to the squad, in fact, he's closer to the squad than his family.
Tumblr media
"Thank you, ma'am," Hyungwon says to an elder lady in the sidewalk. He crosses the street to go back to the police car. He opens the car door and gets inside the shotgun. "Nobody saw him around here capt, looks like we have to keep looking," Hyungwon reports to Hyunwoo. "Where do you think we should go next? We've been to every street here," Hyunwoo says as he starts the car. They drive in silence, with only the car engine as the only noise. Hyingwon isn't really much of talker unless he's with Minhyuk or someone like him, and it seems that their captain is the same so he doesn't try to start a conversation. As they drive the city, Hyungwon notices a bookstore closes. It's one of those stores that usually closes for lunch. Something clicks in his brain. "Capt, I think I know where he is," Hyungwon says. "Really?" "Yes. His papers are yet to be processed so he is still innocent in the system. When he broke out, there's a chance that he will be running away for good. But since we confiscated all his robbery money, he'll have to rob again to have the amount of money he wants." "Hm. But where?" "He broke out today and he knows we'll be looking for him so he doesn't have much time. There's a possibility that he'll rob someplace that closes for lunch, someplace big." Hyunwoo parks the car to take his phone out. Hyungwon supposes he is opening his GPS. A few moments later, the captain seems to have found what he's looking for. "There's a pawnshop that closes for lunchtime two blocks away from here," Hyunwoo says. "That must be it." Hyunwoo starts the car. Hyungwon decides to turn on the radio on to fill the silence. Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift is almost finished when he turns it on, and the next song that plays is Rihanna's Bitch Better Have My Money. JOOHEON
The resident prankster and 1/2 of the up-to-no-good duo. Jooheon demands his presence to be felt. It's just impossible to ignore him when his presence alone catches attention. He always plays the decoy when they launch secret operations, not only he can immediately catch everyone's attention in the room, he can also fight them off when things go a little of their grid. (The whole squad still hasn't gotten over that one time Jooheon made a man chase him for 3 kilometers and still managed to talk properly after it)
Tumblr media
Changkyun and Jooheon are currently running after their target. They got into an abandoned tunnel and lost the suspect completely in the dark. "Go around Kyun, find a possible exit and search around that area, I'll go from here," he says to Changkyun. Changkyun nods and leaves. Jooheon points his gun forward and starts to take careful steps into the tunnel. He focuses his ears to his surroundings. The place is eerily quiet, save for the sound of cars outside. The criminal must still be nearby, moving slowly but surely. He walks for a few more meters, getting deeper and deeper in the tunnel but still having no sign of the perp. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH," he hears a shout from somewhere. "Kyun," Jooheon exclaims. Jooheon is quick on his feet, he runs straight ahead to find Changkyun. The tunnel pretty short, Jooheon realizes as he reached Changkyun pretty quickly, who is now on the perp's back and trying to be shaken off. The perp is much bigger than Jooheon, but he's confident he can take him down still. The only problem is Changkyun, being his back. "Shoot his leg!" Changkyun shouts. The perp notices him and starts running toward, which is a pretty awesome feat since he has Changkyun on his back. He starts to run away from him. "Heon! Shoot his leg." The two of them knows that Jooheon can't. They can only shoot a perp unless they pose a serious threat, which is not the case right now, except that he's just being really scary, running after Jooheon while screaming. "Shoot my leg," Changkyun shouts once again. "What the hell!" "You might accidentally shoot his shoulder and slow him down. There would be no word for us." The perp just keeps on running and screaming in the midst of their conversation. "I'm not doing that!" Changkyun groans. They had already exited the tunnel by now, and people are looking at the three of them. "How are we supposed to slow him down?" Jooheon gets an idea. He runs and runs and runs and the perp just keeps on running after him, not having an idea where Jooheon is leading him. A true musclehead. If all goes well the perp may get tired from all the running and Jooheon can quietly arrest him before they get to the precinct. At one point, Changkyun shouts, "I'm going to sleep," and really slept. The perp does not get tired and they eventually reached the precinct. He sees Hyunwoo and Hyungwon's car pullover. "Chae!" He shouts at Hyungwon. Hyungwon sees him and quickly gets out of the car. Hyunwoo stops him and tells him something. Hyungwon nods and Hyunwoo is the one that backs Jooheon up. The perp seems to finally realize what is going on because he runs the opposite direction. Jooheon does the same. Hyunwoo is suddenly beside him. "Detective Lee, I need you to jump on him from behind and knock him down, can you do that?" "Definitely cap," he replies. Jooheon increases his speed and lunges for the perp, effectively jumping on them and pinning him against the ground. "AAAAAAAAHHHH," shouts Changkyun. "Had a good sleep?" "I can't breathe," Changkyun says. Hyunwoo catches up to them and handcuffs one of the perp's hand. Jooheon and Changkyun get off him and Hyunwoo cuffs the other hand. "Good work detectives," Hyunwoo says. "I think I broke a bone," Changkyun says. "Congratulations bro. You now a badge of honor to wear." CHANGKYUN
The little genius of the group. 2/2 of the up-to-no-good duo. He had been quiet before he came to the nine-nine. He knows he's smart and he uses that to his advantage but the problem with being smart is that you're accepted but hated. When he first came to the nine-nine, he was overwhelmed by the genuine praises he received from them, unlike his previous precincts that just acknowledge his accomplishment. He is babied by almost everyone. He is especially being looked after by Hyunwoo because, even though Jooheon usually starts the shenanigans, Changkyun's tends to go a bit overboard. So as captain, Hyunwoo's job is to keep Changkyun in check to keep him from doing something that might affect the precinct. (He accidentally called Hyunwoo "dad" once and it is forever embedded in his records)
Tumblr media
It was Hyunwoo and Jooheon that brought to Changkyun to the hospital, but for some reason, (which Changkyun is sure Jooheon calling Minhyuk and Minhyuk telling everyone and Hoseok freaking out and Hyungwon calming him down and Kihyun suggesting that they all should go) the whole squad is there when he exits the examination room. "What did the doctor say?" Kihyun asks. "I'm gonna die in seven days." "Awwweee... I get to keep your all of your album collection right?" Jooheon says. "Can you at least pretend to be sad and shed a tear first? And no, Hyungwon gets to keep it." "What? Why?" Jooheon wails. "I have placed a CCTV in them and they shall know where Hyungwon lives," Changkyun replies. "Oh, that's actually a good idea," "They're going straight to trash Im," Hyungwon counters. Jooheon and Changkyun simultaneously clutch their chests. "But seriously speaking though, what'd he say?" Hoseok asks. "It's nothing serious but he said that I don't do any field work for now." "Yes!" Kihyun exclaims. "I get all his open cases and I'm going to solve them slowly but surely. That's right, you ain't gonna be there to speed things up." "Speed things up. Guys we finally found Kihyun sex tape," Changkyun says. "Oh my god, shut up." "Well, it's good news that nothing serious happened," Hyunwoo says, placing his hand on Changkyun’s back, strong, forceful, heavy and painful. "FUCK MY BACK!" "Fuck my back. Looks like we found your sex tape too," Kihyun says.

There are others like her. Others that can save the human race from the Other-Beings. Others that can restore peace and normalcy to the world. The others are being killed off one by one. It's up to Azazel to find those who remain and band together to fight the Other-Beings... or the government? Which side is the right side? Follow Azazel and her friends as she battles with her mostly quiet world being turned upside down, and she becomes the heroine she never wanted to be. Author’s Notes: Hello! I'm back with a new fic! I've had this one in the works for some time now. This chapter has been started, then restarted again multiple times. I'm still not overly thrilled with how it turned out, but feel this is a great start to this story. I know there are probably many questions that this chapter left unanswered. Everything will be revealed in the coming chapters, as well as the history of the Other-Beings (probably in Chapter 3). I hope you'll stick around and enjoy this little fic and what's in store for it. As always, comments are welcome! I am open to suggestions and hopes as to where the story may go, but please make sure they're mostly kind words. I have a fragile little writer's heart. Haha. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

It was evident by the way the wind blew leaves across the sidewalk that a storm was blowing in. It would go unnoticed by many in the darkened colony, as would the sound of footfalls slamming against concrete. The wind carried with it heavy breathing as a young man in his twenties turned into a dark alley, his chest rising and falling quickly. He was stuck with nowhere to go as he stared at the wall of the U-shaped building before him. His palms pressed into the cool brick as his head hung. The beads of sweat that dripped from his forehead were accompanied by casual footsteps from behind.
This was it. There were only two options left. Either he would die alone, or they would die together. There was no alternative, but strangely enough, he wasn’t afraid like he’d been as a child. Even when the hands grabbed him from behind and shoved him to the ground, he didn’t fight back. Fingers griped his jaw tightly as he stared up into his captor’s steely gray eyes, raging with hunger and satisfaction at catching his prey.
There was no need for words between the two, nor was there any time. Teeth had sunken into his elongated neck, sending through him a pain so severe he wanted to scream, but he wouldn’t allow it. Instead, his eyes rolled to his arm, watching the second hand of the watch tick. All of his studying and research said it would take just around thirty seconds before his body would be drained of all the blood he had in him. Thirty seconds and his life would be over.
Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven.
With just seconds to go and the world around him lingering somewhere in the gray between light and darkness, he felt the hunter pull away choking. It took everything left within him to turn and look at the man who stumbled back into the ground, clutching at his own neck. The corner of the victim’s lips curved up and his pearly white teeth peeked out from just behind his lips.
It was true. Everything he’d learned the last few years was all true. There was still hope. Well, maybe not for him, but as he took his last breath, he pictured the world as a better place and allowed the darkness to consume him entirely.
The train rattled along on the tracks overhead small buildings and streets. What was the point in having two laned roads anymore? The population was 10,000 but there were maybe 100 cars and they only belonged to the officials and important people. The roads felt more dangerous because they were empty than they did when a car turned the corner.
“Zaz? Azazel! Are you even listening?”
“Hm? What?” The brunette pulled her head away from the cool glass window to look at her friend Soomi who stood beside her with her arms crossed.
“Don’t tell me you were thinking about the purpose of roads in the colony again!”
Soomi knew her all too well. They’d been friends since they were children. They’d attended school together, shared baths together, felt heartbreak together, moved in together. They may as well have been born conjoined all things considered.
“Can you blame me? And I hate the word colony! It’s like--”
“Yeah, yeah,” Soomi cut her off. “It’s like we’re ants in an ant hill waiting to be stepped on. I get it.”
Azazel cast her friend a smile as her eyes turned out the window again, this time catching glimpses of the gray wall that circled around their city. Though it likely seemed like a joke to others, Azazel believed that’s what they really were. Sure, the city was decent sized, but it was too controlled and the wall around it seemed like a giant flashing sign that screamed step on me! They were definitely ants.
A heavy sigh distracted the young woman from her thoughts as she looked to her friend.
“I swear I can’t go anywhere with you anymore.”
Azazel was tugged out of the open door of the train and onto the landing beside the tracks. Only then did she realize this was her stop. The doors closed and her loose hair attacked her face as the cars picked up speed and raced by.
Soomi was already walking away, no longer caring what happened to her daydreaming friend. Hurried feet moved to catch up with the blonde and Azazel linked her arm through her friend’s.
“You really need to focus more the next few days, Azazel. With the eclipse coming, things could get dangerous and quickly if you’re lost in your own world.”
She knew it was true. The upcoming solar eclipse brought with it dangers they couldn’t comprehend. Their colony had never been in the path of totality before, but in the past they’d seen what happened in other places where it was. Destruction, chaos, death.
The thought alone put Azazel on edge as she glanced cautiously around them. It was silly to be afraid already. There was no way anything would happen the day before the event. It wasn’t as if the sun was shining duller. It was still in the sky, bright as ever, but that didn’t stop her fears.
“You’re right. I’m sorry I cause you so much trouble, Soomi.” She squeezed her friend’s arm gently in a form of a hug and leaned into the girl.
The two carried on walking toward their destinations in silence. When they reached the bakery front, Azazel stared up at the familiar sign, wondering if things would be different for it the next day. Would it still be there after everything?
Waving Soomi away, Azazel entered her workplace and hurried to the back to start working on baking. As she kneaded the bread, her mind wandered to the world they lived in.
Long before she or Soomi had been born, people had been coralled into the colonies. They were once large, metropolitan cities that had fallen into ruins and rebuilt for the purpose of “protecting the humans.” They’d built walls walls around the cities, raised up apartment buildings and did away with stand alone homes.
Some things from the past remained. They still had television and music, but it was very controlled by the government, and unfortunately for their colony, no one famous had ever come from these walls. Azazel would never meet anyone famous. She’d never get to travel to the main hub or see what the other colonies looked like. She was stuck here.
It wasn’t as if she was unhappy with her colony. Aside from the severe case of wanderlust she suffered from, she was content where they were. People went about their lives as if the wall didn’t exist and maintained jobs and families. It was normal, at least to her. She didn’t see anything strange about how everyone set off to work as the sun’s rays peeked over the horizon or how there was a curfew that began when the sky turned black. That was normal life for her.
Plus, the government had protected their colony well. There had never been any signs of the Other-Beings breaking in and hurting anyone in her colony. At least, not yet.
The Other-Beings were strange to the girl. She didn’t fully understand them, but that was because she only had what she was taught in school to go off of. It was severely one sided, she thought. The Other-Beings were blood suckers, wanting nothing but to feast on human blood. They were made to look like monsters, and quite honestly, most of the time they did seem that way. She’d never heard of a good Other-Being, but in her mind they must exist somewhere. Just like there were good and bad humans, surely there were good and bad Other-Beings too.
She was pulled out of her thoughts by the sound of the bell over the front door ringing. Wiping her flour covered hands on a towel at her waist, she realized it was already noon and the lunch crowd would begin dropping by.
The bakery was small, that much was true, but they had a good reputation for making a killer sandwich on the homemade croissants.
Azazel rounded the corner, a smile on her lips and her mouth open to spill an overused greeting but she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw him.
She raised a hand to her face, wondering if someone had turned on a spotlight or if he was just making that heavenly glow come from his body by some sort of magic. She could see from behind her hand the smile that pushed his cheeks to his eyes when they saw one another.
Had her heart stopped beating? Was this was if felt like to die a slow and painful death?
“Azazeeeel,” his angelic voice called out.
She was lost in her own little dream world again, lost in his eye smile, in the dimple on his cheek.
“Azazel?”
Fingers snapped in front of her face before spreading out into a wave. The action was followed by the sound of a record scratching to a halt in the back of her mind as she came to and saw the look of concern etched all over his face.
“Are you alright? Should I call for a doctor?”
The reaction was instant. She could feel the heat at her cheeks in seconds. She hadn’t even had time to feel embarrassed yet.
“N-no! I’m alright, really! Thank you for your concern,” she managed to mumbled out, straightening herself up and attempting to get rid of the pink on her face.
“You want your usual? Roast beef and cheddar on a croissant bun?”
His smile returned and he nodded his head. She didn’t give him time to win her over with his dashing good looks before she hurried off to the kitchen to get his lunch ready.
Kihyun had moved in next door to Azazel and Soomi three months ago. He and his two friends had moved from a different complex after feeling like they were too squished in the set up. As luck would have it, his job was just a few doors down from the bakery and once he realized she worked here, he’d come by everyday for lunch.
He was dreamy. Okay, they all were. The three roommates that lived next door were all gorgeous in their own way, it almost felt impossible. Several times, Azazel had caught herself wondering if they’d actually moved from the Hub. She didn’t know for sure, but she’d heard that all the people there were insanely good looking and that’s why those who found fame ended up there. It couldn’t have been true though. Unless they were in some sort of danger or relocating for work purposes, there was no relocating between colonies. It was to prevent overcrowding apparently. As far as she knew, Changkyun was an assistant to the butcher, Minhyuk helped run the farmer’s market, and Kihyun was a keeper at the little aquarium. She didn’t think any of those positions warranted relocation.
Her thin fingers worked carefully to wrap the sandwich in the brown paper before it was slipped into the brown bag. She was about to roll up the top when she paused and reached over to the chocolate chip cookies. She wrapped up two and slipped them into the bag before rolling it closed. She grabbed a large, clear, plastic cup and filled it with half lemonade and half sweet tea before she hurried back to the front counter.
“You can keep the change,” he said almost too cooly. Didn’t he know he was killing her?
“Thanks! The boss will appreciate it!”
He took his lunch and the cold drink and with a few raised fingers and a sweet nod, he left the bakery.
All of a sudden, her legs were jelly beneath her and she crumpled to the floor behind the counter, her hand to her heart. As she sighed. He had to be an angel. That was the only answer to how he could make her feel that way.
The sound of screaming had Azazel’s body shooting up in bed. A dim light came in through the window, but the alarm clock on the nightstand said it was midday. The eclipse.
Bare feet slammed against the floor and she dragged her tired body from the bed. The screams were loud and it set her heart racing.
“Soomi?” she called out, noticing the bed beside hers was empty.
There was no answer and Azazel felt her heart sink.
“Oh god, oh god, oh god,” she called, tears already welling up in her eyes. “Soomi?” she screamed again, swinging open the front door without a second thought.
She flew down the apartment stairs and out into the open air below. It was dark out and Azazel took a second to shield her eyes from the rays as she glanced in the direction of the sun. It wasn’t fully covered, not yet. She dropped her arm and swallowed back a choke.
“SOOMI?!” she screamed into the air.
“Azazel!”
Her head snapped in the direction and she saw her blonde friend crouching on the ground with a body in her arms.
“Oh my god!” Azazel called out as she ran over to her friend. “What the hell happened?”
She too joined her friend and looked down at Minhyuk’s pained expression. There was blood seeping through his shirt and on Soomi’s hands.
“He saved me,” she whispered, the sound of a sob behind her words. “A guard thought I was an Other-Being because I was out here and he… he… he tried to shoot me,” she choked out before finally breaking down into sobs.
“Oh my god,” Azazel whispered again. Her dark eyes looked up at Minhyuk’s face almost apologetically before careful fingers moved to lift up the fabric of his shirt.
The sight that greeted he was strange and a little terrifying. Gunshot wounds weren’t something she saw everyday, or ever, but she didn’t think this was how it was supposed to look. Blood seeped out of the wound as it should, but what made it odd were the strange veins of purple that crackled along his skin from it. Azazel could see them forming and spreading like cracked glass as she looked.
A finger stuck out toward the building. “Go get them, Soomi! Hurry!” Her sobbing friend nodded in understanding and ran back to the building.
Dark eyes moved from the wound to Minhyuk’s face again as he writhed in pain, his breaths catching in his chest.
“What are you?” Azazel whispered.
“He’s an Other-Being,” came a quiet, firm voice from behind her.
Azazel tumbled to the ground in surprise and fear. She looked up to see four guys peering down at them and felt her heart sink.
“Wh-What did you say?”
It was evident she had become unimportant as they descended upon them. It struck her that they must be Other-Beings and they saw food sitting before them. Azazel tried to scurry back but her hand caught the hem of her nightgown and sent her falling back again. She closed her eyes, assuming she was about to die, but instead, a tight, firm hand grabbed her and pulled her up.
She opened her eyes to see Minhyuk’s body cradled in the arms of one of the guys while the one who had addressed her was pulling her toward the apartment building.
“H-Hey!” she called out, trying to sound tougher than she really was.
“You have to get inside before the full coverage happens. It’s too dangerous out here.”
As he spoke, his eyes looked around cautiously, as if he was looking for something, or someone.
They reached the building just as Kihyun and Changkyun came running out.
“Minhyuk!” Kihyun called his name full of worry.
Azazel watched as his friend was hurried past him toward the apartment and Kihyun took in the others. Their eyes met before his slid down to the hand that was tightly wrapped around her wrist. It was beginning to get painful, but she hadn’t been able to get a word in with this guy.
“Let her go, Shownu. You’ll hurt her.”
There was something almost dangerous looking in his eyes and she could tell the guy grasping her didn’t agree with the words.
“She’ll run,” he said angrily.
“She won’t,” Kihyun challenged.
They were quiet for a moment before the fingers around her disappeared and Shownu brushed past her to the apartment.
“You have to come with us, Azazel.”
Kihyun’s voice was much nicer than the Shownu’s had been and she knew he was right. She couldn’t make sense of any of her feelings yet, but she did know she stood a better chance with more people when the world went dark than she did with a distraught Soomi.
His hand was stretched out toward her, and he shook it in a way that begged her to take it. With a heavy sigh, she placed her fingers in his and he gently tugged her toward the apartment, but not before he glanced up at the sky and she saw his adam’s apple bob with a deep swallow of what she had to assume was worry.

Just Maybe

A/N: I’m sorry it’s kind of tardy and not awesome, I tried T T

Genre: Fluff, High school life

Requested: Anon requested: “can I please request an i.m from monsta x scenario where he has a massive crush on you, but one of his friends accidentally reveals it to you”. So here you go enjoy c;
You look at the droplets rolling down the slightly fogged up window, your classmates are all sitting with their respective friends and chatting around you. You lean your head on your folded hands, closing your eyes, concentrating on the sound of the raindrops crashing against the roof as the rain intensifies. You sigh and turn your head, now facing the side wall of the class. You laugh to yourself when you see Kihyun nagging Jooheon, you’ve never really talked to them since you don’t really socialise with the kids in your class. All of your friends are in another class together and you don’t really see the need to make new ones, more time to take notes and do actual work. More time to do work doesn’t mean you actually do more, you just draw in your notebooks. Drawing is one of your passion, it feels so natural to you, when you take your pencil and glide it against the paper you feel all the pressure lift away. They don’t have to be pretty, sometimes just doodling keeps you from falling asleep in class. You pull your notebook from under your pencil case and  start drawing a cartoonish version of Kihyun scolding Jooheon. You steal some glances at the group of seven boys, making sure to get their features right. You try to be as subtle as possible, once you’re done you smirk at your drawing, looking at the boys one last time to compare them to it. You giggle softly and Hyungwon’s head snaps in your direction, you’re too shocked to look away so you just freeze, feeling the blood rushing to your face. A big grin makes its way on his face as he nudges Changkyun and you look away, regaining your composure. You try to act as if nothing happened and go back to doodling, but your hands shake and you’re still red.  You focus on your breathing, thinking about random things to distract you. A few minutes pass by and you look their way, thinking it’s safe, you’re surprised to find Changkyun staring at you. It’s his turn to look away blushing. You go back to your drawing, making a mental note to never draw anyone from your class ever again. You start dozing off in the middle of the lecture when you hear your teacher call your name.
“Y/N, I suppose you know the answer to this question since you gave yourself the permission to sleep during my lecture?” He snaps at you, sarcasm coating his words,  making the guilt and shame sting all the more.
As you go to apologise for not paying attention you hear someone speak up.
“Sir, is that why you give yourself the permission to doze off when the principal speaks during the morning assembly? Is it that burdensome to be filled with so much knowledge?”You gasp as Changkyun talks back to the teacher so defiantly.
You hear the students laughing and cheering I.M on and you notice the way  the teacher slowly loses his cool, he’s smiling as if he was holding back from burning us all. The bell rings, signalling the end of the day and you carefully put away your things, not minding the chaos around you. Students storm out and run in the halls, colliding with you, they apologise and you smile to show them it’s okay. You still curse at them in your head, you get outside and the rain hasn’t stopped.  You smile, you like the rain, it’s shows us how powerful nature really is, you can do whatever you want, but nothing will make the rain stop, it will stop on its own. You take out your umbrella, struggling with it for a while. It’s stuck and won’t open, you fiddle with it for a while, hoping it will open magically. You’re starting to get frustrated, you turn around to go throw this useless umbrella away, but run into someone and that’s when your umbrella decides to open. Violently pushing Changkyun away from you while doing so, you drop the umbrella and walk up to I.M, who’s leaning down clutching his stomach. You can’t help but feel guilty even though he’s laughing.
“Wow, remind me to never piss you off okay? Who knew an umbrella could cause that much damage…” (That one girl in Another, sorry I’ll shut up now) He says teasingly as he looks up at me from his kneeling position.
You offer him a hand and help him get up, you’re pretty sure you didn’t help much, but you offered your help and that has got to count…somehow. He dusts himself off and eye your umbrella with resentment and you chuckle at the sight.
“I’m really sorry my umbrella propulsed you to the ground, I guess that was its protest to me throwing it away. I’m seriously sorry though.” You apologise awkwardly, fidgeting with your hands, not knowing what to do.
He laughs and you see his cute smile, he pushes your shoulder in a friendly way.
“No worries, see you around…” And with that he leaves, leaving you smiling like a kid.
When you get to class the morning after the umbrella incident, you don’t miss the stares Changkyun’s friends give you and the disinterested look I.M gives them. They whisper something to him and his face gets flushed as he insults them. You shake your head, these boys seem like a bunch of dorks, they’re all very handsome and some of them are really smart, but they don’t hide their personalities, guess that’s why they’re not as popular as some of the jerks out there, you think to yourself. You pay close attention to the lesson, aware of the teacher glaring at you and wondering why you have to suffer his wrath when it’s Changkyun who  insulted him. When lunch break finally arrives, you’re starving from all that note-taking and rush to the dining hall, meeting your friends at your usual table. You listen to all the silly things they have to say and laugh with them, you start to tell them about the accident with your teacher and you notice their eyes shifting to an empty spot next to you.  You follow their stares and see Hyungwon peacefully eating his sandwich, he waves at you, even though you’re literally right next to him. One of your friends laughs and he winks at her, you look at him, still puzzled by his behaviour.
“Hello..?” You say, not sure as to what you’re supposed to say in this situation.
“Hey!” He replies simply.
You continue on with your story and Hyungwon adds small details to it, making it more interesting. Lunch passes by quick, you, Hyungwon and your friends telling funny stories and laughing together. You’re surprised to see Hyungwon sit with you the next day, and the day after that, a week passes by until you finally decide to ask him why he suddenly decided to join your table. You’re walking to class with him and you grab his arm to  stop him from walking any further.
“Hey, Hyungwon, I was wondering…why did you decide to eat lunch with me? I mean I don’t mind, you’re really fun, but why?” You ask tripping on my words slightly.
He smiles at me.
“Ahh, that, well I was dared to piss off I.M, but I ended up really liking eating lunch- oh shit,” He seems to panic in the middle of his sentence and looks at you nervously.
It’s only then that you process his answer.
“Why would you eating with me make him mad?” You ask, now curious.
“I can’t tell you.” He answers while shaking his head frantically.
“Does he hate me? You can tell me-” Your reflection is cut off by him denying that possibility.
“No no, not at all, it’s quite the opposite actually, oh god he’s going to end me!” He says as he pulls at his hair.
You get all red, quite the opposite? ‘Does that mean…he likes me?’ you ask yourself. Changkyun passes by you to get to the class, he smiles at you before glaring at Hyungwon. You feel your heart beat incredibly fast as your hands gets slightly sweaty. You smile as he disappears into the class, maybe you like him as well. You get in the class followed by Hyungwon who keeps teasing you, you sit in at your desk and look at I.M smiling at him before pulling out your notebook, that’s when you notice a brand you umbrella in your desk. You look back at I.M and see his red cheeks. Maybe you already like him.
