Warning: A lot of this is just me going off so this is going to come off as word vomit and I'm so sorry if it does/you're confused.

Can I just say something, I'll definitely get hate from both sides but I wanna say it:

So I dont ship kaeluc, but if people do ship it while I dont agree with the ship, I know (for the most part) these shippers are not the worst people in the world. Like I have a friend who ships kaeluc and while I dont agree with them it's not a deal breaker for our friendship and I still love them to pieces.

See my take is this is: the whole sworn brothers trope isnt a problem, having a close relationship with somebody, even somebody you knew since you were a kid and considering your relationship deeper than friendship (which can either just be a really strong friendship or be just a way to hide the fact that said characters are gay because chinese censorship laws) is fine. There's nothing wrong with that, I'm ok with that. What I'm not ok with is raising the two together as kids by 1 family like they were siblings. Because there are ways people can be raised closed by and not be seen as incest but kaeya and diluc arent those people, in my eyes.

Like let's say there are two kids who know each other from childhood and go to each others house and treat each other like they're family, and then as they grow older they realise "oh shit, I fucking love this person" theres nothing wrong with that, I'm ok with that.

Or lets go a step further, say there are two different families each family with a kid living under one roof. Both kids are raised as part of their own family in the same house as kids, and consider each other, and the other members, close like family. The two families arent tied to each other than the fact that they're super close like family, and live under one roof. That while I can see getting it getting misinterpreted/complicated in the eyes of westerners you still know that they're not related, by blood or by adoption, so if the two kids grow up and also go "oh FUCK" I'm ok with that. (Like picture teo families raising their kids because they want the kids to get married in the future/are raising them as an arranged marriage for the future)

My issue with Kaeluc specifically is that, (and again while I get there's a cultural difference and I know there's the whole just because you're raised in the same home doesnt mean you see each other as siblings sure, except for kaeluc its different.) Because unlike my example, my thing with kaeluc is Creprus was the one who took Kaeya in as a child and raised him as a kid into adult, so he was living alongside Diluc raised by the same man. And again you can say "they never saw each other as brothers" and calling me whatever because it's a cultural thing, and sure it's a cultural thing, but it's still my interpretation and my interpretation is still that is adoption. You're raising a kid that's not yours but just like they're your own kid and alongside your own kid, a father taking in another son, and so that is an adoptive father with his adopted son who's living alongside his adoptive brother.

2 people being raised by their own respective families but alongside each other so they're all close like family but know they're not related but then going on to marry the other and making the 2 families 1 is one thing. 2 kids being raised by the same family(or family member) as if they were always 1 family from the start, addressing the same figure as their parent, being treated by each other like they're the figure's children but only to decide later in life they like each other is a whole other thing.

And even if you say they no longer see each other as brothers you dont erase all thoese years they were raised like brothers, so regardless of the technicalities for kaeluc it's still weird in my opinion. (Plus I have an older brother, and we annoy the fuck out of each other. So I like seeing the two fight like that cuz it reminds me of us)

So no, I dont ship kaeluc, and so that's why I feel regardless of the 'sworn brother trope' kaeluc is different for this sense. And this spefic branch for this trope happens a lot and regardless of who it is I'm still uncomfy. Like yes if a character was taken in by a family at a much older age and realised "oh shit" that I could understand. But by raising them from childhood together like this is just eh.

And you know what? I still dont have a problem with kaeluc shippers (for the most part). Like I think my biggest issues is when you have cishet girls (and yes, even queer girls) overly sexualizing gay men for the fetish. But this applies to any mlm ship not just kaeluc. But if i only really encounter these things if I'm looking through say the kaeya tag on like Twitter but dont filter things out. And even when I do see those posts or just general kaeluc stuff I just scroll past. I dont send hate, I dont scream my head off, I'll never send death threats, and I move on with my life.

And let me just say ppl who go "kaeluc shipper DNI >:P" and then bully others, or "kaeluc antis are egotistical people who cant read and are westerners that are racist and..." who go on and on getting more aggressive with every reason are just as bad (doesnt matter if you have your reasons, bending yourself backwards to defend it rudely doesnt help your case)

I'll always say both sides have bad people. And I'll always be right.

There are frankly more pressing issues in the world that need covering and with genshin planning 10 years of updates we cant keep fighting this.

So in the end what can you take away from this?

Well if you ship kaeluc I'm not shunning you away from my posts, but if you're looking for that content sorry (plus I ship rosaeya lol)

And if you dont ship kaeluc that's fine but please dont act like you're better if you harass/bully others because of it because you're not. Or just dont bully others, please we dont need more hate in the world.

And if I have to clarify this: no I'm not pro-incest, please do not put words in my mouth. Infact if I understand correctly, (for the majority at least) kaeluc shippers arent pro-incest either. But because of all our different interpretations that's when fighting starts. I still consider kaeya and diluc brothers but I know there are people who don't. I dont agree with them but I know they have their own reasons why they dont see them as brothers so unless seen otherwise I'm aware they dont actually like incest.

Theory of mind people! Please, look it up. Please think about others people thought process. PLEASE. And again this applies to both parties.

We can coexist peacefully you know. We wont agree on this topic but we just need to stay away from it because fighting will get us nowhere.

(Ahain I'm sorry if my explanations are bad/too long/dont make sense I've just been frankly getting more sick and tired of seeing fighting everytime I try to look for funny kaeya content)

i'm vagueing here but some queen shippers are very vocal about their ship writers being more intelligent, their opinions more valid and having better characterization & realism to their ship than the bigger/more popular ships and it makes me feel a bit shitty. aren't all queen ships equally detached from reality. they are very gleefully putting down other writers and i dont like it

I'm not totally sure which ship writers you're talking about. I have a guess, but I haven't seen anybody put down other writers in a while. Last time that was the Extreme Freddie Fan Brigade doing it, but whoever does it, it sucks and they're being ridiculous.

I think there's some people who see their ships as more based in reality than all the other in-band-ships. Which is... yeah, it still doesn't make it reality, sorry, no matter how much one person was possibly platonically crushing on another. Heck, you can write Johnica and Jimercury and that is still not reality because you didn't know these people.

Anyone thinking they have the ultimate characterisation down... of people who they have never met... A good reminder that none of us knew/knows these real people we write about, no matter how realistic we're able to make a fic feel.

so i have a few questions

1)i cannot understand how you ship k*ramel. their relationship was FILLED with toxicity. from mon-el failing over and over again to listen to what kara had to say to him basically telling her to give up being kara danvers. convincing her that "being supergirl and having you is enough” was absolutely horrible. karamel had their moments but overall it was toxic. then in s3 mon el was married and the whole point of season 3 was allowing them to move on. accepting the toxicity from s2 and pushing past that romanticized time. mon el was a better person by 3b but he was still married. even if mon el and imra did break up in the finale there’s no future for karamel. even during 5x13 kara went to ask on advice about lena. and when winn came to visit from the future not a word about him. she’s moved on and it just wouldn’t make sense for kara to end up with him.

2) how can you hate lena so so so much?? it’s been said over and over again that all she’s ever wanted to do is good. though she’s designed to be this morally grey character. she has FLAWS but that’s what makes her so good. she’s a victim of abuse and you can see her struggle with that especially in seasons 4 and 5. in 5 she definitely goes down a questionable path but how can you expect her not too? after being emotionally abused by her brother, betrayed by her family, andrea (this did happen before kara), and then eve. finding out that kara and EVERYONE she loves has betrayed her as well. I mean how could you not go mad?? and even when she “went mad” she was trying to rid humanity of PAIN. something she later realized was a necessary part of life. her hurt blinded her from reality and lex’s manipulation pushed her down further. she’s been hurt and broken so many times and while that’s not an excuse for what she’s done you have no sympathy for her and that I find appalling. lena has realized what she’s done is wrong, that she’s made mistakes, what she did to kara, and she will have to live with that isn’t that punishment enough? she’s apologized and is trying to make up for everything she’s done by saving the world (again). your unnecessary hate towards her infuriates me. cant you take a step back and see the whole picture?

3) why DONT you ship supercorp or accept the queerbaiting? (watch this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C2w2GBXd_Pg) They are the core relationship of the show while the danvers sisters are the heart. they’ve gone through so so much together and practically dated in early season 2. they love each other it’s just oh so apparent. i like to believe one of the reasons lena reacted so strongly in s5 is because she was in love with kara and she couldn’t handle the person she was in love with lying to her. and kara flew around the world to get lena’s favorite food!! if that’s not romantic idk what is. I feel like you’ve developed such a clouded view of supercorp that you need to take a step back and understand what lena is the love of kara’s life.

He has NEVER said to her to give up being Kara Danvers. How did he exactly convince her? How can you read the scene that he convinced her that being supergirl and having him is erasing Kara Danvers? In this scene he supports anything SHE WANTS to do. Also, Kara Danvers doesn’t equal Kara being a reporter in CatCo. On that moment she had her blog. She change people’s live with it like a real reporter. She took the risk and met consequences of her actions aka being fired by Snapper. Also, remind me who told her to create a blog? With your logic Lena was erasing Kara Danvers too.

Friendly reminder that he was forced to the marriage to keep peace. Also, friendly reminder Imra and the Legion out him in this situation without telling him about her plans. She and Brainiac put him there, knowing exactly how much he loved Kara and how much she meant to him. Imra knew that, that’s why she asked him to stay and solve his feelings. She said if he had come back, she would have known he had no doubts. But he wanted to stay, that’s why they broke up. He came back because once again he sacrificed himself for the greater good, like a real hero. Maybe watch the Argo eps because they clearly show that no, it was no about moving on.

Yeah, many people want to make good and end doing evil things. Common people pay for their sins, she has never. Since allowing hostile Daxamite army to invade the Earth (also, her portal affected the other aliens who destroyed the NC), producing a device that could recofnize aliens without their consent (and it was used by Children of Liberty,)producing and lying about Kryptonite, trying to make people superpowered without any supervision, killing Adam during illegal experiment, supporting openly alienphobic president and in a way Agent Liberty, killing Lex and then blaming Kara and finally manipulating Kara for months, lying, gaslighting, yelling, making her steal Lex journal, trying to lobotomize her and tortured with kryptonite, hurting every way possible, physically and mentally. Working with mass murderer, enslaving 3 people (kidnapping Eve, without her consent putting AI into her mind, basically RAPING her brain and making her a puppet in her own body; enslaving end experimenting on Malefic and Russel – threatening to kill him to steal Andrea’s necklace) – none of it are flaws. It was horrible abuse and violating every human right and the fact some people excuse it is disgusting.

Mhm, if you call that an apology then suit yourself. She is not saving the world, she is helping once again other people fixing the shit she created.

Feel infuriated as much as you want, because I don’t care? Especially when it comes from a person who tells others to take a step back while being totally narrow minded about Mon-El and karamel.

3.Because actors, prodcuers, writers call SC a female friendship. Mel did that in her last interview. See whatever you want but maybe stop forcing people to ship a horribly abusive ship.

Well… no. Kara is the heart and soul of the Supergirl. Alex is her most important relationship. Lena is an important friend, who doesn’t deserve it yet, but we all know Kara is the Paragon of Hope so of course she is going to forgive her.

I know you people think sc dated because they breathed in one room, but in s2 Kara dated, had sex, kissed, cuddled and enjoyed her time with Mon-El.

Yeah, they love each other as friends. It was said more than once.

That’s your delusion, you are free to do it.

I literally do not understand, like I really don’t get it, how anyone could think the Darkling and Alina make a good pair. I can seriously ship Alina with everyone (hell even Nikolai) but him, cause it’s just so obvious that he’s hurting her. I don’t know, it’s literally impossible for me to see it. I don’t like the Darkling like at all, cause I don’t really think he’s well written, that’s is. I don’t consider him a well written villain but if somehow I did, I still wouldn’t ship him with Alina? I’d ship him with an evil OC? Cause to me it’s just something that totally doesn’t work and IT’S MEANT NOT TO WORK.

And as a Malina shipper, I must say that I’m tired of hearing that Alina “chose Mal” over the Darkling cause that’s not what happened. Alina didn’t have to choose between two guys, that’s not what the story is about. This is about Alina REFUSING the Darkling and that’s it. She chose HAPPINESS, and her happiness meant Mal, Genya, Zoya, Nikolai, Tamar, Tolya, Nadia, Misha etc... It’s not about what love story is better. What made me love the ending of the series wasn’t that Alina “chose the good guy over the bad guy”, it was that she wanted to get away from something/someone that hurt her and she MANAGED TO DO IT.

And a book targeted for teenagers published in 2012 (aka the period were toxic relationships where romanticized SO MUCH) that treats such themes, it’s really far more interesting than a story about a girl falling in love with a villain.

Okay, well, sorry for the long response, but this is a WHOLE mood.

I personally think the Darkling is a well written villain, but that's mostly because he has the exact effect on the fanbase that Leigh was trying to prove by writing him the way she did, that attractive men can get away with pretty much anything because of their charm and their pretty faces, but overall I find him pretty lacking in a lot of ways. As an abuser, manipulator, and groomer, so specifically in his interactions with Alina, i think he's great, but overall in the story i find him kind of meh.

But honestly same!! Like honestly, I'm not really someone who enjoys "dark" ships. There are a few 'dark' ships that I've liked over the years, like early days Damon/Elena and Chuck/Blair (lol... to your point about romanticized toxic relationships...), but I was a lot younger when I was really invested in those ships, and as I've gotten older I really don't see the appeal in them as much as I used too. So I'm probably not the authority on what makes a good "dark" ship. But to each their own! Ship what you want! But to me, i hate it. Why would I want my heroine to be with someone who abuses her? Why would I want a strong female character to end up with someone who subjugates and controls her, and harms the people she loves? It's just not for me.

And yeah!! It's the misinterpretation of the ending that truly gets me. Alina would never choose the Darkling. Even if Mal had really died, and Alina had gone fully insane, I still dont think she would have been with him. If she had gone dark and went full power hungry crazy, I think she would have still killed him (@mal-zoya said it super well in this post). He hurt her friends, people she loves, like Nikolai and Genya, like Zoya, like Ana Kuya and the other teachers at the orphange, like Mal, and he hurt her. Even if she decided she wanted to become this immortal all powerful evil Grisha queen, it still makes no sense to think that she would side with the man who enslaved her. It just... doesn't make sense.

Alina didn't choose Mal OVER someone else, (possibly Nikolai, but still... not really? she never loved Nikolai?), she chose the life she wanted over the lives she didn't want. Even after her powers were taken from her (she did NOT give them up, despite what some people want to claim), she still could have become the Queen with Nikolai, or spent her life revered as Sankta Alina, but she chose to go live an ordinary life, full of ordinary things, full of friends who adored her and children who admired her and a husband who loved her.

I think the biggest thing that always gets lost is that the men in the story that were her 'choices', much like the hunger games 'love triangle', aren't just love interests. They represent paths that Alina can take during the story.

The Darkling represents greed and corruption. He represents a path where Alina loses sight of everything that is important to her and becomes the evil she is trying to defeat. Alina choosing The Darkling would be her loosing herself to her trauma and becoming a malevolent villain who torments the people she was meant to protect.

Nikolai represents political power and the need to be loved and worshiped by the people. He represents a path where Alina gives up the things she has always wanted for herself in pursuit of status and political power. Alina choosing Nikolai, and becoming the Queen, would be her abandoning her true calling, as the savior and protector of the people of Ravka, to rule them instead.

Mal represents humanity, sacrifice, and her true self. He represents the path Alina begins and ends the story on. Discovering that she is the Sun Summoner thrusts Alina into a life she didn't want as a child and never wanted, even by the end of the story. Harnessing the power of Morozova hurts her, and almost kills her. Accepting Nikolai's proposal makes her feel lonely, uncomfortable, and out of place. Alina choosing Mal, and by extension an ordinary life with the people she loves, represents Alina choosing to follow her heart, and to use her power for its true intention, to protect the people of Ravka and the world.

The power of the Sun Summoner wasn't granted to Alina so she could rule the world as some malevolent god-like figure, or be worshiped as a Saint, or rule the world as some immortal queen. The power of the Sun Summoner existed so that one day, someone who was pure of heart could step up and save the people of Ravka from the darkness and peril brought by The Darkling. The power of the Sun Summoner was granted to Alina because she had a pure heart, and because of her pure heart, she could withstand the greed for power, the corruption of the amplifiers, and the draw of political power and fame, to do the right thing and bring balance and peace back to the world. Her story is a beautiful thing because it reminds us that sometimes, the most important thing we can be is human, and kind.

Hey! I hope you're well. I started watching AOT and realized that levihan was a ship. And after reading the manga Ive come to the conclusion that they were more than friends if not just friends. Mostly because I saw Levi act with Isabella, a friend and a sister of sorts even Farlan. But with Hange he was just different. And thats what made me feel maybe it really was something more. He was a different Levi with her. All the teasing and the overprotectiveness, the unnecessary sass and hostility sometimes, but that makes me wonder WHY? Why was he like this towards her? And when was the moment he fell for her or decided to befriend her that way that yes I will tease this person from now on. At first I thought its because of how they met maybe but their first meeting was so sweet. Hange seemed impressed by him and he even thanked her for her compliments. I didnt think their interaction would lead to something like this. So what are your thoughts because I wonder alot on this. Also can someon pls tell me why Levi looks at her that way in aot 4 when hange meets the kids with him and says if they dont understand us we'll meet them and teach them. Like. What happened? Hi! I am well, thanks! And thank you for leaving me an ask! I always appreciate hearing what people have to say. I’m gonna try my best to answer your question without going on any tangents lol (but I can’t promise I won’t). This is going to be long.

I 100% agree with this. When I read the manga and watched the anime, I thought maybe Isabel was a love interest (AT FIRST). When I realized she would call him “aniki” (brother) and the way he acted around her (patting her head), I knew there was a different relationship between Isabel and Levi. He saw her as a little sister and was always trying to avoid his two friends from getting into trouble. That’s why he decided for all of them to join the SC after all.

But with Hange he was just different. And thats what made me feel maybe it really was something more. He was a different Levi with her. All the teasing and the overprotectiveness, the unnecessary sass and hostility sometimes, but that makes me wonder WHY? Why was he like this towards her?

I think that the reason Levi had always acted different with her than anyone else was because of their first interaction. It was not in the anime but it WAS in the manga where Hange approaches the trio saying “I was watching you at that crucial moment!” (Not to mention the chapter Hange appears for the first time is called “Hearts” and in 139 we see “...hearts” over her head). At this point, Levi, Farlan, and Isabel were ready to kill Hange since they thought she found out about their plan to kill Erwin. What actually happened was she had seen how cool they all were and wanted to pay them a compliment. Ever since that trio left the underground, Hange was the first person to show them kindness. I don’t think this is something Levi would forget or take lightly. If it were me, I’d definitely remember that moment. I know there is a post somewhere comparing how Levi looked at Hange for the first time vs how he admired the nature outside the walls for the first time. After Farlan and Isabel died, who did he have? Practically no one. It’s my own HC but I’d like to think that Hange stuck by his side. Levi and Hange both have lost so many comrades that they found solace in each other. They bonded through grief I suppose. Also, I think Levi was intrigued by Hange’s personality. Their personalities complement each other: Hange is extroverted, loud, messy; Levi is introverted, quiet, reserved, clean.

When I first saw them, I definitely felt some romantic attraction of sorts. We eventually learn he is a clean freak, yet he has no issue grabbing her hair (which probably was greasy and unclean). Also, I believe that wasn’t in the manga and Isym requested it be added? I can be wrong with that, but I think that if there was nothing planned for their relationship, he wouldn’t have requested it. From the second I saw them, they reminded me of an old married couple. The way they bickered and how Hange never felt threatened by him.

One of my favorite scenes is when Hange enters the room that Levi’s squad is in at the castle.

E: Oh, I’m not sure if I have the authority to help you.

H: Levi, what is Eren doing tomorrow?

L: Cleaning the courtyard.

H: Okay! It’s settled!

See how she doesn’t ask permission? See how Levi doesn’t retaliate? If it were anyone else, I’m sure that 1) someone wouldn't ask that and 2) Levi wouldn’t have responded that way. We have seen all throughout the anime and manga that he usually goes along with whatever she wants to do. Remember in the OVA where Levi grabs her and yells at her? She doesn’t retaliate from his tone either. She SMILES at him. Why? Because he is expressing concern for her. He is showing he cares about her (also he’s grabbing her and bringing her close again). Eventually at the end of the OVA, we see how Levi tells Hange that Erwin agreed to capture titans for experimenting.

And when was the moment he fell for her or decided to befriend her that way that yes I will tease this person from now on… Also can someon pls tell me why Levi looks at her that way in aot 4 when hange meets the kids with him and says if they dont understand us we'll meet them and teach them. Like. What happened? Thank you !

I am not sure if there was a specific moment, but I do believe it definitely developed over time. One specific moment is the one you mentioned later on in your message, “If you don’t know something, go figure it out. Isn’t that what the Survey Corps is all about?” Levi looks at Hange almost in a surprised manner. In my biased LH eyes, it shows that Hange really is a brilliant and wonderful Commander, and Levi is appreciating her and her intelligence. In reality, it is most likely because it is something similar to what Erwin would have said as Commander. In all seriousness, her statement is entirely true. I think we can all learn from and use that statement in our everyday lives. But I think that in this moment, he possibly starts to realize how much he admires the Commander. We can also see Hange taking her own advice in chapter 126? 127? Where she forms the alliance with Pieck. She is not sure how to stop the Rumbling, so she goes to figure out how she can by talking with Pieck. As it turns out, she is successful in forming the alliance.

Overall, I think that Hange and Levi complement each other perfectly. Even if you aren’t looking too deep, I think their relationship is quite obvious. I mean… why would you ask someone to live with you if you didn’t care for them or even love them? I think that this is one of the points that other shippers bring up to break up LH (how L dislikes H or vice versa). Levi didn’t reject her. If Isym wanted him to reject her, he would’ve made him say something similar to Erwin’s “Give up on your dreams and die” statement when Erwin stated his selfish dream and was willing to sacrifice all of humanity for his selfish desire. Hange told him while he was unconscious and “not listening”, and he didn’t reject her. He says “if we run and hide, what will that get us?” and “I know you aren’t able to stay out of the action” when he sees her building the cart. We also see Levi “confess” or “respond” in 132 to Hange’s statement in 126. “Dedicate your heart”?? OMG Do not get me started on that lol.

Getting back on track, the pair is almost always together in the anime. They’re together in the manga panels when they don’t have to be. They don’t even need to speak actual words to communicate. They are the sun and moon, two wings of a bird. Levi is almost always looking at Hange in the official fanarts. We know from the smartpass AU’s that Hange says “he is a good guy” and “he doesn’t say what he means.” That’s why I think they use nicknames frequently. Four-eyes could be seen as an endearing comment coming from him. Also, Levi making Hange chocolates in the Junior High manga?!?!! Oh, yeah, its definitely to shut her up.

Can we please stop invalidating Bylers or Milevens. This ship war has gone on for too long. We each have our own side of tumblr/twitter/Instagram and nobody is asking for either to go on the other side. Some people WILLINGLY go onto Mileven tumblr or twitter just to get mad at Milevens who are minding their business and some people WILLINGLY go onto byler tumblr/twitter to comment hate and then get mad abt it when THEY DID THIS TO THEMSELVES.

Mileven and Byler are some peoples comfort ships. And so invalidating either when nobody knows what’s going to happen in the actual show is just rude. We won’t know until season four, and whatever happens, we have to remember to be respectful about it. I don’t want to see any Milevens calling Bylers delusional or any Bylers making fun of Milevens bc their ship wasn’t end game.

BOTH SHIPS ARE GREAT!

And you have to admit, both Mileven and Byler have had some amazing moments. It’s not like either don’t have any potential

As someone who used to ship Mileven for two years straight, I see the potential they had. And even though I don’t ship them anymore and will probably be disappointed if they are end game, I won’t go around having a hissy fit and you shouldn’t either.

Mike and Eleven have had some soft and cute moments, whether you ship it or not, they have. Mike and Will have had some soft and cute moments, whether you like it or not, they have.

Mike loves both of them, whether that be platonic or romantically. He loves them. And he’d probably die for either of them. So can we PLEASE stop pretending that Mike doesn’t care about El, or that he doesn’t care about Will. Stop pretending like when Mike visits the Byers he’s only going to spend time with El. And stop pretending that if Byler were to happen Mike would forget about El’s existence.

I believe that no matter what happens, Mike will continue to love and respect both of them. He will always and I mean ALWAYS care about Eleven and Will. That’s a fact. He is a caring person.

So no matter what happens, we have to respect the duffers choice.

And I’m not saying we can’t have an opinion! We totally can! We are allowed to critique this type of media! That’s okay!

However saying “byler will never be canon you’re delusional. Go get help and go to a mental institution because you are stupid.” That is NOT an opinion. You’re invalidating someone’s comfort ship.

And saying “Mileven is horrible and Mike hates el and el hates mike and they dont care about eachother.” That’s NOT an opinion. That’s invalidating someone’s comfort ship.

So regardless of what happens, (because they BOTH have a great change at being end game ships) we must remember that the directors have had this planned for awhile! So it’s not like they’re pulling it out of their asses if they make Mileven or Byler end game. It would have been made to be from the start.

You don’t have to agree with how Mileven or Byler is presented. You don’t have to ship either. You don’t have to find them cute. You don’t have to do any of that. But you DO have to respect it and it’s shippers.

And admit it, Mike is a total softie with both El and Will. And I know that whatever happens it’ll be good. And even if I personally wouldn’t enjoy an end game Mileven, I would NEVER go out of my way to invalidate that. And even though I WOULD enjoy an endgame byler, I would FEEL for the Milevens because- imagine having your comfort ship not end up to be canon! That shit hurts! And same for if Byler isn’t canon!

I hope that all shippers can see from everyone’s point of view (unless you ship minorxadult, or anything disgusting like that.)

And I hope all Milevens and Bylers can learn to respect eachother.

And PLEASE for the LOVE OF GOD, I know that if Byler becomes canon we’re gonna wanna get cocky, and I know the same goes for if Mileven is end game, but please don’t go around saying “I told you so!” It’s never fun and it just makes people feel worse. People are ALLOWED to have faith in something. They’re ALLOWED to enjoy a ship.

And FRIENDLY REMINDER:

Statements like “Byler is endgame” or “Mileven is end game” shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Even I, who always says Byler will be end game, have no idea what will happen in season four. So we can dream all we want but it’s all up to the duffers.

SO PLEASE: let shippers have faith in their ship. Mileven and Byler are pretty vibey and I try to respect it as much as I can.

AND ALSO:

To anyone who has seen my previous Byler vs Mileven posts, I want you to know that although I do have my own opinions on Byler and Mileven- I never want you to stop shipping what you want! And I will always respect whatever you choose to ship (aslong as it’s legal and appropriate) this is just a fictional show! None of its real! And I hope you all know that I love Mileven shippers with my heart, even if I don’t love the ship. And I think both are awesome!

LETS ALL BE RESPECTFUL <3 it’s not that hard! Unless you are a toxic shipper, I will respect whatever you choose to ship. (Again, unless it’s inappropriate, but that goes without saying.)

And whatever becomes end game, I hope we can respect the brothers choice. Because at the end of the day, none of us know for sure what’s going to happen. And so we should just keep our heads up and respect everyone’s side of the fandom. And we need to stop getting so pressed when someone says they don’t ship something that you happen to. Not everyone will share your opinions. And as long as that person isn’t invalidating anything or hating on you, then you should respect them too!

Sorry, anyways. I went on a rant there.

TLDR; ship what you want and respect all shippers please! Even if you don’t ship it personally, you HAVE to respect a ships existence and when it comes to byler and Mileven, you gotta admit that both of them have a good shot at being end game ships. Whatever happens, I’ll always respect Mileven shippers and the ship itself even if I don’t like the ship personally. And If it is end game, then congrats! I love all shippers (as long as it’s appropriate) and I hope you do too!

So honest question here. Because it’s literally mind boggling me I see a lot of anti- destiel people (not all are w*nchest shippers) say again and again Destiel fans are annoying/disgusting/vile/toxic/solely responsible for tearing the fandom apart/insert your favorite adjective here.

general opinion over them: hugest cc ever oh my GOD the way most people treat him makes me froth at the mouth i only trust certain people about her but he's also another genuinely great character and i feel like even if he could've been used for great potential his final battle with dio wraps up his character nicely so he's played his part well.

general opinion over him: hes such a tragic character but also so beautifully written, araki knows to give villains fucked endings but he's one of the few who got a respectful death (choked out by an 11-year old which in comparison, is better than i don't know eternal limbo as a detective, infinite death loop by 15-year old or sent to space never to die EVER), he deserves good things but also he was a priest there had to be some sort of retribution for that (what word was it i forgot)
