You abused your eldest daughter, constantly degrading were for being Autistic while claiming to were to be Autistic yourself. This psychiatric report says otherwise; you lied to were. You told were that were wasn’t as good as were younger sister and step-siblings.

But the worst crime isn’t even the abuse. You’ve now decided to hide behind a false name and persona to escape your crimes, while throwing the entire Trans community under the bus with 0 regard for the consequences your actions will bring to them.

Jail couldn’t hold you. And you were never going to learn a thing. But now, you will be forced to. Before you is a series of games that will push your senses to their limits. In other words; you burned your bridges. None of your family want you. Let’s hope your serial killer ghost of a ‘boyfriend’ will save you from the torment you enforced on your own child.

And don’t think death is an escape. Were Gods are waiting for you; Fenrir loves putting an abuser in their place. Specifically; into his jaws. Loki hates abusers with all his guts. You managed to make the chaotic neutral God of change and mischief infuriated. He loves playing tricks; who knows what he will do? Sigyn will show you no compassion. For you deserve none. Angrboda will show you the true rage of a mother scorned. Jormungandr will make you feel powerless. And Hel will not let you return to the living to “make amends”, no matter what you plead. And maybe, just maybe, that little girl’s grandfather, the man you scorned the minute you laid a finger on were, will watch. Silent. Unmoving. You rejected his help long ago. Why would he want to help now?

Make like Emperor Belos and die, you miserable excuse for a human being. No one will remember you. No one will mourn you. And, I hope that I shouldn’t have to spell this out; your spirit is not welcome around your “daughter”. Ever. If you try, then I know for a fact were will curse you. Show you the monster you created.

“Aye, Brother!” Thor called as he noticed Loki walking around the corner of the armory. He was sitting on a low stone wall that separated the armory from the archery range, peeling an orange and chatting with one of the other officers.

“Care to go a few rounds?” Loki asked as he strolled over to his brother, a wide grin plastered on his face.

“Only if you tell me what has you grinning like an idiot. Or maybe I should say who?” Thor waved to the officers as he bid them farewell.

“Sigyn and I just picked where we will live after the wedding.” Loki sat beside his brother and let his long legs spread out before him.

“Wonderful. Something small and modest, I assume?” Thor chuckled.

“It is the exact opposite of small and modest.” Loki smirked, “Vast and opulent. Perfect for a large family.”

Thor laughed heartily, “Who is this imposter? And what have you done with my baby brother?”

“Oh, shut up.”

“No, I am serious. Where is the man who ran away and hid rather than accept that he would have to grow up and get married? Hmm? This man beside me is giddy at the thought of starting a family, and a large one at that.”

“First of all, I am NEVER giddy. Secondly, I admit how foolishly I behaved before. Fear of the unknown did things to my mind. But Sigyn has helped me realize I have nothing to fear. I know that I am marrying someone I can be faithful to.

“She keeps me guessing. She has a sense of humor. She is smart and beautiful. And she is just as amorous as I am, if not more. Which is a bonus.” Loki’s grin returned to his face as he recalled the sounds of her moans as they echoed through the empty bed chamber and the dirty way she spoke to him while he was in her hands.

Thor waved his hand in front of Loki’s face, “Hey! Where did you go?”

“Norns, sorry. That keeps happening to me today.”

“I asked if you two had gotten… closer?”

“Almost as close as two people can get without breaking my promise to Mother.” Loki looked over his shoulder and lowered his voice before he spoke. “I came in my fucking trousers just touching her. Like I was some pubescent kid who had never seen a tit before. I would have been mortified if I were not distracted by her pretty face as she came undone by my hand.”

“Ha! It sounds like you are getting along well, then?”

“The woman is a gift from the Norns.”

“She is quite extraordinary,” Thor agreed.

“No. Literally. Sigyn is literally a gift from the Nornir.” Loki went on to tell Thor how their mother had used her sight to find answers about how Sigyn came to be and the connection she and Loki shared. Thor listened in amazement to what Loki told him as he finished his orange.

“That is truly amazing. I wonder how often the Norns change our fate without us even knowing.” Thor shook his head.

“It is no small coincidence that I could not picture myself getting married and starting a family until I met Sigyn.”

“You are a fortunate man.” Thor looked off in the other direction. “Some men may search their whole lives and never find what you have.”

Loki put his hand on Thor’s shoulder, “I remember what you told me before I fled from the palace. I know you are ready to settle down and start a family of your own. I am sorry if it feels like I am flaunting my relationship in your face. Trust me, Brother; I do not wish to hurt you.”

“Ah, no worries, Brother. I do not feel that way. I am truly happy for you. I am just as excited to become an uncle. I will be the greatest uncle that has ever been.” Thor looked at his boots, “Can I tell you something?”

“Of course.”

“You have to swear never to repeat it.”

“I swear it.” Loki put his hand over his heart and looked at his brother sincerely.

Thor took a deep breath, “Sometimes when Sif and I are having sex…I think about if I were to get her pregnant, accidentally, if she would want to keep it or if she would want to get rid of it without me knowing.”

Loki felt like his heart was going to break into a million pieces. “Have you two ever talked about that scenario?”

“No. Of course not. She balks anytime I try and bring up the subject of becoming more serious. Or even making our relationship public. I dare not mention children.” Thor pulled up a piece of long grass growing along the wall.

He wrapped and unwrapped the long blade around his fingers absentmindedly as he spoke, “She says that she does not wish to ruin what we have now.” He paused momentarily as he gathered his thoughts, “I can feel the familiar path to heartache pulling me closer. It is always the same. I speak of love and commitment; ladies flee from me like I have a plague.”

Thor shook his head, “I understand why. I would not wish to fall in love with someone only to have them betrothed to another on the King’s whim. I wish he would just pick someone and be done with it. The anticipation is awful. It feels like I am always waiting for the ax to fall. Or like I am being dangled like a carrot in front of the faces of the most powerful.”

“You are the Nine’s most eligible bachelor. The next Allfather The competition to be the future Queen of Asgard is fierce. Maybe Lady Sif would be more willing to get serious if you were permitted to choose your own wife.”

“Perhaps,” Thor gave Loki a half smile.

“Talk to Father about it.”

“I couldn’t possibly.”

“Of course, you could. You are his favorite.”

“That does not mean he will alter eons of tradition for me.”

“Oh, you never know unless you ask.” Loki gave Thor a knowing smile, “Perhaps you could phrase it so Father would understand. You could say you are eager to produce an heir. You never know; he might be open to it.”

“Hmmm.” Thor furrowed his brow, “Perhaps you are onto something.”

“Of course I am. I save all my best advice for you.”

“Really? Like when you convinced me to steal Father’s mead so we could get drunk and go skinny dipping with Lord Bjørn’s daughters?”

“That was a very fun night, as I recall. Those girls were very outgoing,” Loki remembered fondly.

“Yes, that night was fun. The next morning, not so much. And poor Volstagg.”

“Little Urszula is an adorable child.” Loki laughed, “And Volstagg seems to have come to peace with the marriage.”

Thor shook his head and laughed. “Terrible council.”

“I did not hear you complaining when the red-haired one had her lips around your-”

“Okay, fine!” Thor punched Loki on the arm, “Your ideas are only half terrible.”

“Fair enough.” Loki laughed, then got serious, saying, “Do talk to Father.”

Thor ran both hands through his sandy blond hair, “I will. Although, I might need more of that mead before I do.”

“Just please save some for the wedding feast.”

Thor laughed, “No promises. I cannot believe you are getting married.”

“Neither can I.”

“I am going to miss you.”

“What do you mean? Lord Anderson is still relatively young and in great health. I will not be going anywhere for quite a while.”

“No, but it will be different after you are married.”

“A little, but I promise not to abandon you completely. We can still train and have dinner in the main hall most nights. Although, I will miss you barging into my chambers unannounced.”

“I cannot come to your new chambers once you are married?” Thor looked hurt.

“Of course, you can. But I will be keeping the door locked.” Loki grinned, “I would not want you walking in and seeing something you shouldn’t.”

“If I had a piece of gold for every time I saw your bare ass…” Thor shook his head as he laughed.

“It is not my bare ass I am concerned about.”

“Oh, yes, right.”

“I cannot wait until she is all mine. I will have her on every surface of that apartment. I swear we will not leave our chambers for weeks after the wedding,” Loki grinned.

Thor laughed, “Are you forgetting about the nuptial breakfast?”

“The what?”

“The breakfast the morning after the wedding? Ringing any bells?”

Loki looked at him blankly and waited for him to continue.

Thor exhaled, “The morning after the wedding, all the immediate family and royal court members meet for breakfast so that the evidence of the consummation can be witnessed.”

“What evidence?”

Thor flushed slightly, “Usually the bedsheet with the bride’s blood on it, as evidence of the breaching.”

“That is intrusive,” Loki furrowed his brow.

“Not as intrusive as it used to be. At least you will get to consummate your marriage in private. It was not so long ago that witnesses needed to be present.”

“Perverts,” Loki was thoughtful for a moment. “Sigyn comes to me with experience. I have never lain with a virgin before. How much blood should there be?”

“Never?” Thor looked at him, disbelieving.

Loki shook his head. “Never. The last virgin I encountered was a laundry maid. We spent our time together trading oral pleasures.”

“This surprises me.”

“It shouldn’t. I am very good at it.”

“No,” Thor chuckled, “not that. I find it hard to believe that out of all the people you have been with, not one was a virgin.”

Loki shrugged, “It was a level of intimacy I did not wish to deal with. I did not wish to make those encounters mean more than what they did or add any ceremonious emotions into the mix. It was easier to stay detached that way. Why? Did you expect I was traveling the Nine, snatching young girls from their beds, and deflowering anyone I could get my hands on?”

Thor shook his head, “No, not exactly.” He clapped his hand on Loki’s shoulder. “All these years and you are still surprising me, Brother. I learn something new about you every time we converse.”

“Got to keep the relationship fresh. I cannot tell you all my secrets at once, Brother.” Loki stood and stretched. “But seriously, about the blood. How much? I need to make it look authentic.”

Thor stood beside his brother, “Let us spar first. Then I guess I will draw you a picture.”

The men laughed together as they made their way into the armory.

Reviewing non-Marvel Loki Things (That I've Been Exposed to)

I am certain there's more, but these are all the non-Marvel Loki-related media I could think of that I've consumed. Maybe I'll do a part 2 if I think of some other things I've read/seen. These aren't really full reviews, just basic reactions of what I remember of these pieces of media.

The Gospel of Loki, by Joanne M. Harris

I...did not finish this. It was kind of interesting, I remember. But I'll be honest, one of the lines I remember most clearly is from the beginning where Loki says something like "For some reason on Asgard, I'm not allowed to fuck beasts or men and no one can tell me why." And then he just kind of, goes with it? Like first of all, why, if you can live forever, would you not only limit yourself to one gender (I'm okay with leaving the bestiality alone, but you could probably make a case for this, too, if they can consent), but force everyone else to, also? And anyway, even if Odin is a Puritan prick for some reason, the least believable thing about all this is that Loki stands for it???!!! Why is this the one thing about which he's like 'Welp, guess Odin knows best'? Frankly, it broke my suspension of disbelief for the whole thing. (You know how I was like Kid Loki saying "I killed Thor" made me go 'Oh, okay, the Loki writers don't have a clue who Loki is fundamentally'? Yeah, this is the line that made me do that with Harris.) I didn't even get far enough to maybe (probably) read my favorite myth (Sigyn catching the venom in her bowl).

Norse Mythology, by Neil Gaiman

So much better, holy shit! Leaps and bounds better!!! This is one of my favorite books. I've talked about it a little on here, but he's such a great writer, and I laughed out loud so many times for the way he portrays Thor and Loki especially (it helped that I first read this listening to him read the audiobook). I just love how he portrays Loki as only smart in comparison to the other gods, who are truly dumb as bricks, with Loki only slightly more clever by comparison. But I was still so attached to Loki that when he causes his own downfall in the end (like he does in the myths) I think I genuinely cried. This is one of those books I read at least once a year.

The Bifrost Incident, by The Mechanisms

I'll be real with you, I mostly only listened to the tracks I knew Loki (and Sigyn) were on. But I did also read the synopsis on the wiki, so I know the gist of the musical. And what I'll say of it is this: I discovered the album four days prior to writing this, and I've listened to at least the Loki track at least twice a day since. I'm a little grateful it's just (as far as I know) an album, because if there was a recorded performance somewhere, I could not watch it (even though I obviously would because I like to let myself suffer). Loki's arc is just too fucking painful (which is honestly saying something, given some of the shit he gets put through in other media).

Ragnarok, Netflix

I watched the first episode. I felt like it ended stupidly and way too dramatically for even the pilot. I know it's called Ragnarok, but it's a modern retelling, and Thor and Loki are kids, so it doesn't have to go so hard from the word Go. And Laurits did not make a good first impression on me either. Can't remember exact reasons why, though. I watched this a long time ago.

What Norse myth books have you read already? I need new recs x

I don't think any of these are particularly new. Trying to make a list of all I've read. And granted, my attention span has gotten worse over the years.

The first book featuring the norse pantheon in any form I read was Neil Gaiman's "American Gods".

There's Diana Wynne Jones' "Eight Days of Luke" which served as inspiration for "American Gods", according to Neil Gaiman. Children's book.

There's also "Odd and the Frost Giants" by Neil Gaiman and his "Norse Mythology" retelling. Children's book.

I LOVED Louie Stowell's Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good, if you have children or trouble getting through books, get this! It's hilarious and smart. I enjoyed it as an adult. Diary of a Wimpy Kid meets Norse mythology.

I enjoyed the first two books by Joanne Harris as a teen, "Runemarks" and "Runelight." The first two (esp. the first) are fun and I love the Bart Simpson-esque portrayal of Loki. Unfortunately, the quality of later books focusing on Loki is terrible.

I unfortunately read Joanne Harris' "The Testament of Loki", first chapter is interesting, but he's unwillingly sharing a body with an annoying teen girl, and the way Harris deals with eating disorders is really bad. It's awful. Don't recommend.

I think Lyra Wolf's The Nine Worlds rising series are an easy read. I think she has a great comedic voice and the books are worth reading just for that, and I like the toxic Odin/Loki relationship. I do have complaints about them, such as the anachronistic language (e.g. Loki knowing what a Chihuahua is), and that Sigyn doesn't have flaws other than caring too much for her no-good brother. She also has the women are either saints or evil witches dichotomy going on in terms of portrayals of goddesses. I think the stakes are good in these books so that you keep reading them.

I enjoyed Cat Rector's "The Goddess of Nothing at All" A LOT. While it doesn't have my ideal morally gray portrayal of Sigyn yet, it did make Sigyn more complex than others have. I also like this book mainly because I am a sadist and I love whump and there's a lot of suffering on it. It's so sad you won't be laughing at the myth!Loki memes. I would avoid this book if you don't like whump. I do have criticisms about it, such as her Loki was a bit too nice for my taste and could have been worse (making him justified for cutting Sif's hair feels forced; he can still be a loveable and tragic asshole, you know?). But my tragedy-loving self loves this!

I was looking forward to Genevieve Gornichec's "The Witch's Heart", it has a cute start of Loki giving Angrboda her burnt heart, but she criminally made Angrboda and Loki boring as fuck. Angrboda conveniently doesn't remember anything and just fumbles her way inside a cave for a large portion of the book. And she is the POV we're following. WE ARE STUCK IN A CAVE SHE WON'T LEAVE. Loki's portrayal in this is one of the most cisheteronormative I've seen yet, and it's surprising the author managed this in a story where Loki is impregnated by a horse and wears a dress (he impatiently yanks off because he felt emasculated). The author thinks having a lean build and no beard=queer. Loki only shows interest in women and feels emasculated while wearing a dress. I also happen to hate Skadi and her weird castration fetish in this book. Bitch wouldn't shut up about it. The good thing about this book is that there's no anachronisms, and I liked Hel's portrayal.

So confession, I had Kindle Unlimited trial briefly, and I read a bunch of Loki books, such as Lyra Wolf's.

I think(?) I read A.B. Frost's "Father of Monsters". It was quite short, but has nice illustrations, and Loki's endearing, even if a little shit. That both takes one for the team and also endangers the team.

I read (partially) some book about Loki escaping his punishment early and rejoining the Aesir, but it was criminally boring (it never described how Loki got out of situations and the prose was incredibly VAGUE) and seemed geared towards Norse pagans(Which I AM NOT). Had a spiritual conflict-avoiding vibe. It was called "Loki" but forgot the author's name and I accessed for free by Kindle Unlimited. I also didn't like that it referred to cops as "Tyr's warriors". FUCK COPS.

I have not finished reading Mike Vasich's "Loki". I think the man thinks MCU Loki is accurate to Norse mythology, because that's the only Loki I could picture (and he was adopted by Odin). And man spent way too long describing sensing "power levels" that I ended up getting bored and stopped reading. I've also seen some amusing excerpt from another of his books I have not read. But, if you're an author, don't spend a lot of time describing power levels, FFS! You'll bore the fuck out of your readers.

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

I'll do this for Jade and Caz in Something Wicked (either as friends or something more, your choice). You know how two smart, capable, maybe even overpowered people can suddenly have one shared brain cell when paired? Yeah that's them. But at the same time, they also support each other so well and I love it. Caz often picks up on things that are making Jade uncomfortable and encourages her to speak out about them (even if it's just asking for eggs to be cooked through at a diner). Meanwhile Jade is pretty much his rock when he's spiraling out of control.

60. Who pulls the other closer when they’re sleeping?

I'll do this for my OT3: Loki, Angrboda, and Sigyn in Those Horrid, Horrid Things. Angrboda runs cold while Loki runs hot so they've kind of always been her little space heater, but with Sigyn in the mix the two get a little ... possessively cuddly with her.

Since the school dance, Loki had slept tucked between their wives, sometimes switching places so both they and Angrboda could wrap around Sigyn — as if she’d float off if they didn’t hold onto her.

Also in Something Wicked, Caz will climb on top of whoever he's sleeping with and starfish his 6'4 ass across the entire bed. Sleeping is his favorite it's the closest he'll ever get to death.

Since Thor saved him from Thanos's control, he and Thor have been almost inseparable. Loki is currently figuring out his relationship with his sister. It's still somewhat strained due to his alliance with Asgard, but he sympathizes with what she's gone through..

Parents: Queen Frigga and King Odin

➝ Loki was adopted by the King and Queen of Asgard after Odin took him from Jötunheim (his birth father is King Laufey.) He's Frigga's baby and one hundred percent a mama's boy. His relationship with Odin is strained.

Children: Eisa Odinson ( x )

➝ Eisa is the child Loki had with his ex, Sigyn. She's the earth equivalent of around three years old and ages pretty much on par with Midgardian children as her mother was half-human. Eisa's mother abandoned her after Loki's "death," knowing he was a frost giant and Eisa could also have those traits. He has since altered Sigyn's memories so she wouldn't remember her. Loki changed Eisa's last name to his own, Odinson, to match his nieces, as Thor and Jane adopted the Earth tradition of using the father’s last name instead of the Asgardian way.

Best Friends: Clint Barton, Klara Arnesdòttir Pets: none himself -- but Eisa has an albino ball python (Cupcake), and baby raccoon (Cookie), she also took over ownership of Ed's cat (actually named Diablo, but she renamed it Kiwi). Enemies: he's got a lot Other notable relationships: Astrilde and Frea Odinson, Eliana Hill (nieces) Exes: Fandral Viluf

BACKSTORY

Shortly after Thor’s failed coronation, Loki discovered he was adopted. It threw him for a loop, but everything, like how he seemed like he was always second best in his father’s eyes, started to click. A confrontation between himself, Thor, and their father resulted in Loki willingly falling from the Bifrost. Not expecting to survive the fall, Loki fell into the Void and was taken onto Thanos’s ship where, for the next few months, he was placed under the control of the Mind Stone to be a pawn in his plan. When he first arrived on Earth, Loki had been under the Stone’s control, but Thor eventually rescued him, having noticed something was wrong. It wasn’t until then that he was able to break free. Loki and Thor fought alongside the Avengers during the Battle of New York and he remained on Midgard, working as an Avenger. Having maintained his prince title, and as a future co-king of Asgard with his brother, Loki still visits Asgard regularly.

And remember that to me, they're all around the same age and grew up together and the couples I've written up is what I personally see working out. Sorry Narfi 😭

Here's a small recap on who they are and how I kinda see them too! :))

🤍Roskva and Thjalfi:

Thjalfi and Roskva, were the children of peasant farmers. When Thor and Loki are invited to stay a night at their house and Thor shares with the family the meat of his goats, which he can resurrect provided that their bones are intact. Thjalfi sucks the marrow from a leg bone from one of the goats. When Thor finds out he becomes enraged. As a result, Thor maintains Thjalfi and Roskva as his servants. Later Thjalfi proves to be a scary good runner!

I personally think Thor after taking in the siblings treat them as equals and so does his family! They'd probably get along with Thor's children too, as I'd imagine they're around the same age. Thjalfi is a good brother to Roskva and is protective of her! Which Roskva appreciates and finds annoying. Thjalfi makes himself seem more braver than he truly is too. (Reference to when he got chased by she-wolves)

💙Magni, Modi and Thrud:

Magni, Modi and Thrud are the children of Thor, all sharing Thor's strong traits and some red hair! Modi and Thrud's mother is Sif while Magni's is the joy in Jarnsaxa! Thrud is a possible valkyrie, a female warrior as her name was mentioned in a list of the valkyries. Magni only at the age of three years old, was said to be the only Aesir god strong enough to lift the jotun Hrungnir's leg off of Thor. As a reward for his strength, Hrungnir's horse Gullfaxi is gifted to Magni by Thor.

I can imagine that the sibling dynamic is chaotic between these three. It consists of a lot of drama, all thanks to Modi! But let's not be too harsh on the guy, I'd imagine Modi is jealous of his brother and sister, especially Magni because he is "the favorite". Magni not wanting any trouble and being responsible tries to fix the conflicts his brothers sourness makes. And Thrud, Thrud was a wild child, she definitely had her fair share of fights. But in the end they all love each other as siblings!

💚Narfi and Vali:

Narfi and Vali are the sons of Loki and his wife Sigyn. They are minor deities, with nothing to their characters, but modern people say Narfi is the god of wrongdoings and Vali possibly the same, if not something else. The only story we have is of their fate, which is tragic! Narfi met a grisly end when the the gods as a punishment for lokis crimes, turned Vali into a wolf, who then tore Narfi apart. The now wolf Vali ran off to Jotunheim.

I've always imagined Vali being the one always in charge of what they would do. He would always be protective of Narfi and like Thrud a wild one! He loves causing mischief like his father but stops when things get too far. Narfi was always shy and hiding behind his brother, he barely spoke but that didn't mean he didn't want to join in on the fun!

💛Forseti:

Forseti is the son of Baldr and Nanna and he is the god of justice and reconciliation. It's stated that his is the best of courts and all those who come before him leave reconciled. This suggests that he is skilled in mediation and is in contrast to his fellow god Týr, who "is not called a reconciler of men.".

I'd imagine that forseti is that calm and collected kid, that is also very clever and smart! Basically the well behaved and perfect kid a parent could ask for. He most definitely sees Tyr as a role model and is better at helping out with conflicts between his friends. Sorry Magni we know you tried.

🤎Fjölnir:

Fjölnir is the son of Freyr and his wife Gerdr. Later in life he became a legendary king of Sweden and he was claimed as the progenitor of the Swedish Yngling dynasty, reigning from Gamla Uppsala. Fjölnir was said to have drowned in a vat of mead while visiting Peace-Fróði, a similarly-legendary king of Zealand, the Danish island. Fjölnir was then succeeded by his son Sveigdir.

I'd imagine that little Fjölnir over here was quite erogant, but never with bad intentions. He was geniuanly very kind and shares a common trait with Vali and Thrud, being a wild child! He was for sure a brave one of the group.

👀 prime defenders bifrost incident au?

okay pre-facing this with none of the personalities match up and it's very much moreso about the character arcs/themes! this is going to be long but i'll start with the character assignments/my reasoning and then go into the details below the cut. warning for bifrost incident spoilers even in this character assignment bit

odin -> ashe: it's all about the corruption babyyy aka the trickster

thor -> vyncent: mostly to do with the whole thing with the lich - it's about anger and vengeance

sigyn -> william: revolutionary leader just screams william tbh. also that sort of righteous anger at The System etc etc

loki -> dakota: this is about the sacrificing yourself to give others a chance to live

anyway cut time! explaining the relationships and connections/plot

odin and loki -> ashe and dakota: dakota wouldn't have been… in this kind of project or kept alive because of his mind. going to say maybe ashe's/the trickster's experiments with the train meant he wanted to examine dakota's whole "procedure" deal (can humans survive a wormhole, etc). bc he's close to the experiments and more observant than people give him credit for, dakota starts piecing together that "oh that's Not ashe anymore" they get into a fight - maybe dakota "goes feral" and the trickster "kills" him in "self defence". i think he's kept alive because somewhere deep down ashe is there and he recognises dakota as his friend

thor and loki -> vyncent and dakota: this one was a lil difficult because i can't imagine dakota doing something that would turn vyncent against him? i'll say though that the trickster's lies/propaganda kept vyncent on "ashe's" side even as the evidence piles up against her. maybe the trickster kills someone close to them (so.. tide lol) and blames it on dakota so vyncent does too (mimicking the whole baldur plot)

thor and odin -> vyncent and ashe: as above ^^ vyncent thinks dakota tried to kill ashe without reason, that he Did kill tide, and that ashe killed him in self defence. the trickster would prob paint the picture that the procedure was failing and making dakota unstable. whole situation sucks but vyncent doesn't want to lose another friend so he doesn't look into it + with his canonically low will we can translate that as him being prone to manipulation shrug

loki and sigyn -> dakota and william: i'm gonna say near the end dakota confided in william about his concerns with ashe because he trusts william + thinks he's smart enough to figure out what's really going on. this is why william specifically is a revolutionary leader. also ghostkicks qpr for the win flex emoji :]! as in mechs canon -> dakota ends up forgetting everything and william is mourning his "death"

thor and sigyn -> vyncent and william: vyncent doesn't hold anything against william for choosing dakota's side and turning on ashe. and vice versa for william -> he's aware ashe's story is unfortunately believable especially since dakota probably warned them before about his "feral state" (think in canon: "if you see me acting a little differently… run"). they don't really talk anymore but will occasionally check in with each other. william is trying to get evidence to build a case against ashe but because it's "turning on a friend" vyncent isn't really prone to believing him. however! this is why when vyncent sees dakota is still alive he immediately turns against "ashe"/the trickster.

odin and sigyn -> ashe and william: i think william just treats it like.. he Knows something is wrong with ashe and that this isn't ashe anymore. he tries to be professional about it with the revolutionary leader thing lol but he really does hate whatever ashe is now (the trickster) for "killing" dakota and taking away ashe. ashe is somewhat aware of the whole revolution thing ((going to say the train is a government experiment shrug. ashe/the trickster isn't like a queen like odin but still it's indicative of a larger issue like in canon)) anyway yeah the trickster relocates everything. ashe is still in there and is trying to leave william alone (won't offer same mercies to the revolutionary group)

anyway yeah that's everything! the whole thing with dakota being loki is like.. well one he does have that "i've died and come back to life" swag but also as i said a bit earlier i feel like out of everyone he'd be the one to offer to slowly drain his life away in an attempt to delay the train reaching the mainland or whatever. so yeah had to mess around with the plot a little to make it work but i feel like it's similar enough that it works :]

Genius, sleuth, prodigy. Tim is a proud Robin, and knows that his mind is second to very few, if any. Book smart, snarky, and happy to be part of the Wayne family, Tim is a bit of an oddity, but he likes it that way. If only he was a little less serious.

Michelle Evans, the daughter of two nobodies that she'd just as soon avoid, became entrenched in SHIELD when she was only 14. I would like to know about your Octopath cast.

Oh 🥺 I’m so happy somebody asked about them! I started working on them a bit after Octopath II was announced when a friend suggested we make our own casts! It’s been an on and off project for me and recently I really wanted to develop them more! I’m hoping to one day write something for them and post it on AO3, but it’s a slow process!

As I have both my main cast and their important NPCs, I’ll talk about each of them! The travelers will be in OCTOPATH order, with me then mentioning which NPC they are paired with! For the images, the traveler will be on the left and the NPC on the right!

“Your name is Owyn, and you are a Hunter. Many years ago, you lived as a noble within the Southern Kingdom and were soon to be wed. Unfortunately, a long held secret of your family was revealed, and you were labeled as an Omen of the End of Days. To ward off superstition, you were banished into the endless forests of the Deeplands. Though you have since adjusted to the life you have been forced to live, there are rumors that you are being sought out once again…”

Owyn Blaidd, age 55, is my hunter! He hails from the Endless Forests in Deeplands of the Southern Kingdom, where he has been living for the past 25 years! As a hunter, he has a small wolf pack as companions, with them doing a random attack type when summoned in battle.

His storyline follows him defeating both humans and beasts who have also been labeled as “Omens”! His Crossed Paths is with my Warrior, Trefor Bermond.

His special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Omens”, and the mythical creature associated with him is Fenrir.

Owyn has two important NPCs to his storyline! Sigyn (shown) and Cerys Thrasir, who are the daughter and granddaughter of the King of the Southern Kingdom. Sigyn is 50, while Cerys is 25.

You discarded your true name long ago, rising from the ashes as a completely new person and taking on any job you could to survive. Celestite, age 30, is my thief! She hails from the Greenlands in the Western Kingdom, where she and her partner Zunyite are well known pair of thieves. Her family was massacred when she was 15, leaving her to struggle on the streets until she met Zunyite at 18.

His storyline has her investigating the apparent survival of two of her sisters, leading her to discover the truth about the death of her parents and remaining siblings. Her Crossed Paths is with my Merchant, Oriana di Angelo.

Her special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Answers”, and the mythical creature associated with her is a phoenix.

As previously mentioned, her important storyline NPC is named Zunyite. Zunyite has been her partner for the past 12 years and has skills in both thievery and assassination. He is 34.

Due to your white hair and red eyes you are seen as cursed, giving you a low status amongst the rankings of nobles. Tsukiko Hoshihime, age 26, is my scholar! She hails from the capital of the Eastern Kingdom in the Moonlands, where she is a personal advisor to the Kingdom’s Second Prince. As a scholar, she is incredibly smart, with her often tutoring the children of nobles on top of her other duties.

Her storyline follows her investigating the origins of her family’s curse, which is said to have appeared ten generations prior. Her Crossed Paths is with my Dancer, Anima Kane.

Her special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Devotion”, and the mythical creature associated with her is a moon rabbit.

Her important NPC is the Eastern Kingdom’s Second Prince, Kaguya-Hiko, and the two have been inseparable since childhood. He is 27.

Your father has not been in the picture since you were a baby, and your mother does not talk about him often. Oriana di Angelo, age 19, is my merchant! She hails from a small town in the Heartlands of the Northern Kingdom, where she runs a small shop with her mother and brother. As she is still young, she is still developing her skills as a merchant, making her less experienced than most others.

Her storyline involves her tracking down her older brother, while also dealing with a business tycoon that has been running smaller stores and shops out of business. As previously mentioned, her Crossed Paths is with my thief, Celestite.

Her special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Family”, and the mythical creature associated with her is a maneki-neko.

Her important NPC is a thief named Lazulite, who is attempting to steal the secrets of the business tycoon for his own gain. He is not associated with Celestite and Zunyite, but chose a similar naming scheme to sound cool. He is 22.

“Your name is Pythios, and you are a Cleric. In the region you call home there is a religious uprising, and those who reject the new faith and continue to worship the old are being captured and beheaded. You and your twin brother have gone into hiding for your own safety, but you still fear your days are numbered. One day, a kind young woman offers to smuggle the two of you across the border. You accept her offer, but things don’t go as smoothly as you hope….”

Pythios Athanasios, age 24, is my Cleric! He hails from the Icelands in the Northern Kingdom, where he and his twin brother work as Priests for the Sacred Flame. In his current position, Pythios has a very large influence over the Church and their beliefs.

His storyline focuses on him trying to avenge his now deceased twin brother, alongside stopping the religious uprising in the Northern Kingdom. His Crossed Paths is with my Apothecary, Hiro Hikaruno.

His special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Revelation”, and the mythical creature associated with him is the dullahan.

His important NPC is his childhood friend, Cassandra Harmonia, who serves as a Priestess for a group known as the Order of the Eight Immortals. She is 24.

Though you live a happy life with each other, you have always questioned your love for him. After getting into a fight with him, you have plans to leave on a journey to recover your lost memories. Packing in the middle of a rainy night, you find a mysterious key…”

Anima Kane, age 22, is my dancer! She lives in the Wavelands of the Southern Kingdom with her husband, Arthwr Kane, who is their town’s Apothecary. The only thing she remembers from her past are a series of dances, and even that is thanks to muscle memory.

Her story involves her running away from her home after finding the remains of a tattered troupe dress in order to regain her lost memories. As previously mentioned, her Crossed Paths is with my Scholar, Tsukiko Hoshihime.

Her special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Memories”, and the mythical creature associated with her is the selkie.

She has two important NPCs in her storyline: her husband, Arthwr Kane, and a soldier for the Order of the Eight Immortals named Nile Gilderoy (shown). Arthwr is 28 and and Nile is 21.

Your past haunts you, however, and people you once crossed blades with spread rumors that you are in truth a demon thirsting for blood. Though the rumors aren’t true, you begin to fit the image when your young daughter is kidnapped for ransom. Blade in hand, you head to the promised meeting location…”

Trefor Bermond, age 32, is my warrior! He lives with his wife, Sylphie, in a village located in the Hinterlands of the Western Kingdom. Together, they have a daughter named Mina, who is kidnapped at the beginning of his story.

His story involves him rescuing his daughter alongside trying to find answers to why she was kidnapped in the first place. As previously mentioned, his Crossed Paths is with my Hunter, Owyn Blaidd.

His special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Retribution”, and the mythical creature associated with him is the dhampir.

He has two important NPCs in his story as well! They are his wife Sylphie Bermond (shown), and their daughter Mina Bermond. Sylphie is 30 and Mina is 3.

“Your name is Hiro, and you are an Apothecary. Your family has served one of the many Noble Families of your Kingdom for generations, resulting in them being held in high regards. When the Patriarch of the family falls ill, you volunteer to travel to the Kingdom of the North in order to obtain the medicine to cure him. You spend the night packing your things, when suddenly you hear a voice whispering down the hall. Listening in, you hear a plot you’re not supposed to know…”

Hiro Hikaruno, age 28, is my apothecary! He hails from a large city in the Starlands of the Eastern Kingdom, where his family’s practice is well known. He is an apothecary of high prowess, with his skills passing even his father/mentor’s.

His story involves him trying to track down a mythical butterfly of legend in order to grant a sick noble immortality. As previously mentioned, his Crossed Paths is with my Cleric, Pythios Athanasios.

His special leitmotif is “One Who Seeks Immortality”, and the mythical creature he is associated with is the soul butterfly.

His important NPC is a mysterious woman named Olwen Gale, who seems to know the secrets to immortality and reviving the dead. She is 26.

That about summarizes the characters that I have shown so far! I have another important group of NPCs I’d like to design in the future, which is a mix of bosses and lore characters!

There is, of course, more to these characters as well, but as I plan to write a series for them, I didn’t want to spoil any huge plot twists!

Childhood Friends to Love - Loki x Sigyn ( MCU )

Even before Loki and Sigyn git together, Loki always thought Sigyn was pretty

He remembered the first time they meet in a classroom in the Yggadrsil Hall of Learning, Loki was drawn to the pretty Light Elven girl with sun kissed skin, thick nut colored curls and pretty pointy ears

Of course, Loki wasn't romantically attracted to Sigyn then, and neither was Sigyn to him then. But still, Loki always found her pretty

They soon became friends first. While Sigyn is generally a more outgoing person - eager to make new friends and thinks so many things in the world are so exciting and thrilling, Loki was a generally shyer child, likes to read books and practice magic than play fight with his friends like Thor regularly does, and takes a slower time in making friends

Luckily, partially thanks to Thor and Sigyn, Loki gradually came out of his shell in making new friends - although he is more introverted than the 2 even as kids.

Then, as the years went by, Loki soon realized that Sigyn isn't just pretty - she is smart, free spirited, with a rebellious Streak that fostered especially in their teen years, and, even then, big on loyalty.

Loki always love to listen Sigyn talk - talk of her childhood dreams to one day become a Valkyrie like her mother, some more details of Alfheim, etc

And then as they grew, in that Graduation Ceremony of his year, when Loki saw Sigyn in a beautiful pink and gold dress attire, it is as if rhe whole world stopped for him

He has long seen her as a friend, even though he gradually developed quite a crush on Sigyn. But it was THAT moment when he feels that he feels something special for her. He watched with a thundering heart as she flited from person to person, radiant and beaming in all her glory, as the flowers on her braided coiffure even sparkled a little whenever she is expressing excitement.

Of course Thor quickly noticed that and teased him over it regularly, but Loki, despite his regular eye rolls, just took the teasing gracefully. He also on occasions teased Thor whenever he is going through a crush, after all

Chapter 37: Home bittersweet home.

She stood there, in the place she last stepped on. Confused, she started to look around the cliff. It was in the middle of nowhere. She wasn't sure, but she felt like it had happened. That she was back. Still, she needed to make sure.

Getting on a bus and telling the driver that she had lost all her money and cards, expecting him to take pity on her, which he did, she sat down and looked at her hands. They were shaking, so she tucked them in her pockets.

Once she reached more civilization, she decided to test her theory.

“Hi,” she said to a man in a newspaper stand. The man just gave a quick nod. “Do you have something about Marvel?”

“Many things girl, what would you like?” She gulped.

“A comic, please, any comic.”

The man looked at her strangely, but surely he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to sell his products. He grabbed the first comic of the pile and gave it to her. She looked at it.

“I am so sorry,” she said before beginning to run.

“Hey!” He called out. “Hey, come here you little shit!”

Once she was out of sight, she teleported to a park she knew all too well, where she sat down on the grass and began to flip through the pages.

She was back in her original universe, but she didn't remember how. She knew about Sigyn and the whole actually Asgardian thing, but she didn't remember much after she stormed into her room. She widened her eyes. Oh god, they would think she was kidnapped or worse… that she left them! They had no way of knowing where she was, or so she thought. She rubbed her temples and pinched the bridge of her nose. Everyone there was smart, even if the odds were not in her favor, they would come to the conclusion that she had gone back without intending to.

After a while of reading, she started to feel very tired, so she closed her eyes, just for five minutes.

When she woke up, Y/N gasped. It was dark, probably the middle of the night. She must have been tired, she knew that the magic she used was very draining, especially when travelling that far.

She looked around. The park was empty, the streets were too, except for one car passing every few minutes. She yawned, she was still tired?

Rolling her eyes, she created a protective bubble around herself and went back to sleep.

Standing in front of her old house made her heart more rotten. She suddenly felt so angry, so ruined, so used by life. Not seeing that place and not being able to was great for avoidance, yet now that she couldn't avoid it anymore, she realized how much it still hurt, how much she had been avoiding it.

Walking around it, it was empty, as a graveyard at night. The life that house once had was gone. She felt like burning it to the ground. But she didn't, not yet. She still had hope, she still believed she would feel better one day; but it all depended on one thing, them finding her.

“The art of meditation is a powerful tool for a sorcerer,” Dr. Stephen Strange said. “It allows the sorcerer to calm their mind and connect to the mystical energy that surrounds them and feel the tides of it, both to understand the past, as well as— Váli, are you paying attention?”

Váli was sitting across from him on the floor, her legs crossed, leaning on her hand like she was the most bored little girl in the world. Her eyes were filled with the fire of the Bifrost. Strange put a gentle hand on her shoulder and she came out of it.

“And where were we this time?” he asked.

“Nowhere,” she said.

He waited for her to give him the real answer.

“Disney World…” she muttered.

“We’re supposed to be learning how to meditate,” Strange said.

“I don’t wanna learn how to meditate,” she said. “I wanna go to Disney World.”

 “You understand how important this training is, yes?” Strange asked.

“You keep talking about the end of the world and stuff,” Váli said. “But that happened already, I learned about it in history class.”

Strange sighed.

“Yes, Ragnarök has passed,” he said. “But there are other worlds that have yet to end, and we’re trying to prevent that.”

“That seems like an Avenger thing,” Váli said. “Papa says I’m not old enough for that.”

“I’m aware,” Strange said.

“I don’t think he likes you,” Váli said.

“I’m aware of that too,” Strange said. “Can we continue?”

“Can we go to Disney World?” Váli said.

“No,” Strange said.

Váli pouted.

“That’s not going to—”

She sniffed.

“Váli, we need to get back to work.”

She shifted to have her wolf ears and they drooped.

Strange pinched his nose.

“Will you promise to do at least an hour of the lesson?”

One of her ears perked up.

A few hours later, Váli ran into the Great Hall with a lollipop the size of her face. She ran up to her brother and hugged him.

“Why are you sticky?” Nari asked.

“I got you this!” she said, handing him the lollipop. He noticed the very familiar cartoon icon on the plastic wrapping.

Strange followed Váli in, looking annoyed.

“Might I speak with your father?” he asked.

Nari took Váli back and sent Loki out. Loki noticed the candy on his way to speak to Strange.

“Again?” Loki asked. “I didn’t think you were this much of a pushover.”

“Please don’t tell Sigyn,” Strange said.

“I make no promises,” Loki said.

“How does she do it?” Strange asked.

Loki shrugged.

“She’s my daughter.”

Loki fam head cannons: Halloween🎃👻🍬

•Since the norse pantheon unrelated to any of these traditions, likes to dress up. It would be a very easy thing for them to join in oo, right?

•Well too Loki this proves itself as being something too difficult for him, but also nonetheless fun! He truly could not just choose one costume!!

•So Sigyn being the best wife she can be in this situation, decided she would be helping him take care of costumes.

•They decided that Loki should be poison ivy and Sigyn Harley Quinn! Loki absolutely loved this idea.

•Angrboda seeing as everyone was having fun, being her ghost self floating around. Decided maybe she should be a ghost, until she realized that wasn't so smart. So instead she became black widow, because black widow is cool and the name kinda fits her.

•Hel was starting to struggle a little too now, her appearance was already what most were going to dress up as. Some half dead, half alive person. What could she possibly be?

•Narfi who always had some sort of close bond with Hel comforts her, giving her suggestions and advice. "You could be..yourself?". Hel was now going to dress up as herself and go win a contest.

•But to not be too suspicious, she did get a costume, she was now a Japanese ghost. Because why not.

•Hel lights up, that actually could work! The two siblings share a wholesome moment, with a long hug. Until Vali comes to drag Narfi away to get their costumes on.

•Vali was confident that this was the best costume they would wear yet. The twins were going to dress up as the wolf: Vali and little red riding hood: Narfi, this Halloween.

•Vali knew Narfi wouldn't mind being red riding hood, in other words because he didn't care. What most would say was a "girl" to Vali, "little red riding Hood doesn't need to be a girl!" And "it looks good on my brother!"

•Despite the feeling of being a little emmberased by Vali's strong opinions, if someone were to ask. Narfi like Vali, does really truly like the costume!

•Jormungandr together with Fenrir and Sleipnir started to think, what could they possibly be?

•jormungandr was the first to have an idea, he could be a cat. Because he had shape shifted into a cat before had he not?

•Fenrir growls at the idea of his brother being a cat out of all things, as a big good boy, he despises cats!

•Sleipnir and Jormungandr laughs at Fenrir's reaction. Jormungandr would still be a cat, just to annoy his brother.

•To cheer Fenrir up, Sleipnir offered to match with him. Fenrir agrees, swearing vengeance upon Jormungandr.

•Fenrir and Sleipnir were now sans and papyrus from undertale. I'm sure you can imagine who is who, but fenrir is sans. Sleipnir is papyrus.

•This way fenrir can annoy jormungandr with puns after puns. Loki is truly a proud parent seeing fenrir using humor the way he does. Like father like son as they say!

•In the end, everyone had a fun night. They all went trick or treating, ate too much candy, except Hel who without a surprise won what ever contest she had found. Jormungandr and Fenrir got into a fight but squared up.
