These two are my travel companions on the monk campaign i use for pearl hunting,

I'll show them off properly in another post but basically Pond is a scrawny tiny baby who needs all the love and Pearl would probaly kill lizards on her own if i wasn't dragging her where i wanna go

Another Vampire story because I can't Sleep

The night air grew cold, still, lifeless. Air whirled around, and yet, it didn’t drop the temperature of the crisp Autumn night by a single degree. The rainbow of colors that danced on the oak tree’s leaves swirled with the sway of the wind; making patterns of a long forgotten dance come to life yet again.

A young man sat at his laptop. Chip bags, pencils, paper, and everything else a young author used for inspiration sat strewn across his desk. The google doc on his screen remained blank, mockingly. Sure, he had inspiration in waves but no inspiration for six or so months is when he tended to get concerned. He huffed and shut his laptop, picking up an empty chip bag and reorganizing things on his desk a bit.

“Maybe some fresh air? Yeah, fresh air will help,” he mumbled to himself. He didn’t know why he talked to himself, for he lived alone; in fact, most of his adult life was spent alone. As he walked out, he spotted his dark red hair flaring out in every which way. He tried to flatten it down messily, but ultimately; it sprung back up to life. Walking into the kitchen, he tossed out the chips and drank a glass of water. The wind crackled as it blew dead leaves against the window. He walked over to the front door and grabbed a jacket and his set of keys, walking alone into the night.

The orange street lights lit the way along his neighborhood walk to the place where he usually got inspiration. His feet didn’t ache as he sat down on the park bench. His own breath misting and condensing to fog a few inches from his face.

“Can’t sleep?” A sharp, female voice jolted from behind him.
