i think i said this before but a small inconsequential romac hc ive had was that all glass/plastic/whatever used in lenses and visors (in anything except regular seeing glasses) would not only have that refractive (is that the word) effect where if youre not looking directly in front of them then they block out the view of whats inside, "not only" but also, the color they would use to block out visibility from the people not wearing it would be the same as the users eyes.

its not necessarily wifi connected, just some sort of special thingy in the material itself. so for example, if snippy and gromov changed goggles then the lab ones would turn blue and the welder ones would turn orange*, on their own with no extra action required

(*iirc gromov has actually light brown eyes? and its more orange in fanarts and contributions but idk. hes like. solid orange to me)

it can also replicate all styles of heterochromia pretty nicely. like if your eyes were aqua but with a green spot in one of them, it would appear the same in the outside goggles. just as an unrelated example. i prommy.

i think it would be a fun thing to have, especially since the comic is apparently employing fantasy genetics in eye color

and speaking of fantasy eye colors, i know its stylistic more than anything, to draw attention to characters in the very big and sprawling gloomy apocalypse environments etc, but hanging on to that material color refraction thing, to me snippy and pilots eyes are neon. exceedingly strong in presence... well first of all to contrast the irl light blue/green eyes you often see, they are very pale and more offputting than eye catching. i need saturation babey... secondly i think theyve earned it. so they could do this to people were the romantic apocalypse not going on

I love watching romance when i feel like it. But not when everything has it. Like, when I'm in the mood for romance, I choose a roamce story. But when I'm not and choose a different genre, it has romance and it just ruins it for me. It just seems so unrealistic or annoying.

And it hurts when I'm so into the plot and then romance appears and makes me uninterested. Whenever I hear great story ideas and can't wait to see them be executed and brought to life in movies, I get angry because come to find out, most of the plot is gone because the characters are so in love. Which maybe it's because I'm aroace, but I just don't get it for the life of me. It's makes no sense.

There are good stories that have romance even tho they aren't about romance. Like those are very rare, but adding romance to the story to portray a really good meaning, is such good writing. And I'm a sucker for good writing.

An example would be Midsommar. The romance was there to demonstrate how vulnerable Florence Pughs character was. How their dynamic is important to her story and her getting into a cult. Her as person and a women. Beautiful writing and it was added well.

Another good example is Get Out. That had romance to describe how unsettling the girls family is. Between the parents relationship, the neighborhoods relationship and the main relationship. All portray such good meanings to the story.

Then there are films that don't have romance. And I would be thankful, except that they are written for men and by men. The way the characters think, talk and feel never align with me as a person. And most of the time it's a misogynistic film.

So films arent made for me:

Can't enjoy romance films because although I am a women and understand from growing up as a women and being surrounded by other women, how magical and beautiful roamce is, I can't feel it because I am aromantic.

And when I watch films without romance, they are made for men and most likely misogynistic. It takes me out of the film just as much if not worse then romance films.

Oh yeah I need to rewatch Good Omens for sure especially since season 2 is coming out this month! I’ve read the book multiple times but the show is just it’s whole own thing lol.

And okay I watched almost all of spn… I still haven’t watched the last half of season fifteen. I know what happens already because of the internet and it just sounds so sad. I’m always like I gotta be in the right mood to watch it and I just never am. The only reason I even managed to get through it all is because I was watching it as the episodes came out. It’s soooo long I probably never would have gotten through it otherwise. But I was always interested in the various uses of Biblical stuff - of course the demons and the angels and everything.

You and Lei have been together since before your rise to fame. He knew you where you were a barista at the tea shop in the lobby of your apartment. He asked you out one day after work and you two have been together for over two year now. 

Your music career kicked off and so has his military career. Both of you were very happy, especially together. One night, in bed after celebrating the release of your second album, he says the three words that you yourself have trouble with.

“I love you, y/n.” You sit up, shocked but smile, kissing him in return, leaving it at that. It’s not that you did not love him, it was just those three words. Your past relationships have ranged from toxic to abusive. And each time it was after you said ‘I love you’, to the other person.

This left you traumatized and almost scared of those words. You couldn’t bring yourself to say them, even to your mother. But you knew another way to tell him, your own way to tell him how you felt.

The next day, he gave me a kiss and left for work, and you knew you had unintentionally hurt him. You grabbed your guitar, locking yourself in your studio. Three days till your three year anniversary, you were determined to make him understand that you loved him dearly.

Finally the day of you anniversary was there and you had everything planned. Tea was brewed, you were  You had the table set up and your stool and guitar as well as the door opened. “Y/n?” “Sit and listen.” You ordered the captain and he did as you set up, taking a breath, you began to play.
