He is so confused when you frist meet because the frist thing you said was "Oh such grace and beauty, head held high as a king but to be the executioner, the killers axe you swing!"

Riddle has to ask the rest of the dorm for some kind of way to understand you and possibly most surprisingly Carter is the one to help

"They said you resemble the Queen of Hearts in a good and bad way, You have the elegance and power but that power has driven you mad."

Now he's confused and pissed but also kinda hurt because you called him out. After a while he's used to your constant rhymes and can somewhat understands them

Epel Felmier

Confusion but more...?? Epel just stares at you as you spout your chaos. "You're like a charming cat, who looks is sweet and sly yet you bite and scratch with a cunning grin so wide".

And who should come in clutch but Carter Dimond once more! "She says your cute appearance undermines your power and it's always the surprise to meet people like that."

He's honestly flattered but he tries to play it off as him being cool and sure it fails a couple times but that doesn't stop him.

Floyd Leech

"You're funny Sea Bunny-San~" translation 'I like your funny words magic man'

Floyd just kinda smiled and tilted his head as he looked at you speak. "You smile like a Cheshire, you climb when the tide rolls in, the world burns down around and all you do is grin"

Hello, I'm happy to bring you a bit of a different story type here, and I'm happy to say it's platonic/pre-relationship headcanons! It can be either or! Requests are still open. 🫒

Synopsis: The Reader is just getting to know the real them. [Heartslybul Edition]

Character(s): Riddle, Trey, Cater, Deuce, and Ace w/ Platonic or Pre-Relationship GN!Reader

Personality for Reader: I've been seeing a lot of feral Reader/OC/MC's and this is a treat for all my stoic, dependable Reader/OC/MC's! (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)

🍓 Riddle Rosehearts

❀ He did not think someone would like him the way he is; he's heard the talk around school, and he knows his reputation. But he didn't really care about what people say about his more superficial personality traits, they were the baseline of knowing him truly. But to see you actually smiling at him chiding, how curious…

❀ Actually having you sit around and just listening to any small remark he made without being scolded about proper manners… well, he might use you as a bit of a shoulder to lean on, and an ear to lend. He's not all business, not all ADeuce this and Floyd that… but he does appreciate a more non-solution based chat to just gripe

❀ Your very dependable, he likes that. You listen and you train your focus on him, you talk and you're precise in your own way, you make a plan and follow through. He might be projecting his failing expectations of his Heartslybul freshman onto you, because why couldn't you be them? He also might forgive a tardiness once or twice (one's without reason, he doesn't care about them if you have a reason normally).

❀ But never a failing grade. You may or may not be in Heartslybul, but no matter what affiliation you are: you're not failing. Especially not when you're acquaintances with him. Could you not think to ask him for help studying? He's sure he has been nothing but open to you, so hopefully you're not thinking of him poorly. He's not Azul, he won't ask for payment to ensure you don't suffer in school.

❀ Riddle has tough mannerisms and things about him to understand unless your in on his past or at least his emotional state. He might trust you with his past if you are friends for a long time, or even a part of his Overblot rescue team: but he might not be able to fathom having someone to talk to. Trey and Chenya just knew his past because they were a part of it and had many years to adapt with him: please, understand he might not trust you fully just yet. Wait for him.

❀ Riddle is a perfectionist learning not everything needs to be his way, so let him assure you: he prefers your balanced lifestyle over his. He can see how you not only satisfy his needs sometimes (his need for order, his need for structure, his want of sweets if you're in a food run) with your needs (your need for space, your ideas of structure, your preference of snack food). It's much more healthier than just caving to whims, he admits. How charming of you.

🍏 Trey Clover

♧ Trey is the resident middle-grounder and damage control, much less at least 25% of Riddle's impulse control on a good day; he knew you'd flock to him eventually. "Birds of a feather, flock together", the old rhymes say! But alas, it's still nice to have a level-headed person around here, it gets a little tough even if some younger years are adorable and naïve.

♧ Trey is very well informed on all the goings on of Heartslybul and he's always willing to share and guide you through the place if you ask. People not from Heartslybul aren't liable to their rules (unless you're from Heartslybul, then please learn some), but if Trey is caught slacking it's "Off With His Head"! So please, ask any questions you have, it literally can't hurt you to ask. Oh, you actually wanted to know more about him as a person? Why, that's very flattering. What do you want to ask?

♧ Trey is a busy and very independent person, even Cater can't deny or play that down. So it's nice that you both have your space away from each other, just for you two to meet each other and it still feel fresh to see one another. The campus is large if you include other dorms and other people around, and he hopes you're making other friends and bonds except just him! Trey is usually found in library areas, his dorm (mostly the kitchen), in a lab setting, or the botanical garden: so come by if you haven't seen him in a few days! He might talk your ear off about his siblings or proper hygiene again.

♧ When arguing or having a disagreement, Trey appreciates your logical stance and factual tones. You and him might not be happy (or there wouldn't be a fight) but he can understand clear and precise emotions being expressed. Don't guilt him, don't criticize, don't judge. He wouldn't even stoop so low himself as to do so either, but will stand up for himself if need be. But here, with you, he's sure you two can talk through this. Attack the problem together, if you may.

♧ Ah, being dependable! He really needs it (and Cater as well, but this isn't about him) to stay afloat sometimes. You two having something to do together or with a group, and you follow up with him to confirm it? It's nice to hear you care! … Or at least you aren't an ass and say "I'll come if I feel like it" like half the school does. What did he say? Oh, nothing! Next week is great.

♧ Trey is happy you can be authentic with him. He's happy that you drop your guarded expression used for warding off other students around him, it's sorta refreshing. Though, he does get why it took you a while to even do so, being from this school of Villains ready to strike at your jugular (hell, he mirrors your sentiment of wariness). He's just happy you can saddle up next to him to read about whatever caught your fancy, and he can not flinch with you leaning over his shoulder.

🍊 Cater Diamond

♢ Oh sweetie, oh honey… this is a slightly harder but more cuter nut to crack. He's not opening up for just anyone and he's much less likely to care about attempts to get to know him. At first. After perhaps one too many earnest and actual charged responses to actual self-destructive questions… he kinda thinks you're weird in the cool, smart kinda way! Just try keeping your head down for now, he'll see you later!

♢ He hates people seeing the cracks in his mask, but he wouldn't be calling you to vent from a dark, unused room if he was so adverse to it. He likes your honesty and he's happy he called you over anyone else: your stoic and almost non-reaction to his fracturing self-image over the phone does wonders. You want to know what's on his mind? Well…

♢ Learning each other's dislikes is like a walk in the park, especially with one like Cater Diamond. He will tell you what he doesn't like, and he expects to know what you dislike too! "Hi, my name is Cater, and what's your least favorite dinner food?" Joking, joking! He still likes that you share this with him and don't hold it over him, especially with what he had to deal with back home with food… please, just no more sweets…

♢ Cater upset isn't too rare, but the severity is usually the rare part. Miffed, disgruntled, perturbed? Happens often, especially if a spell goes haywire like those Mandrakes. Actually angry, seething, raging? He isn't that kinda guy who goes there often. He also can hit the middle of the road too, and it's sometimes the worst: because his eyes can go cold and he can have this fury like ice. But… well, he's never had to fix you with that glare, because you're always the initiator of separating for a breather. Cater is the silent brooderーand the silent stewer of angerーin Heartslybul, but he'll come around, I promise.

♢ Hold him accountable please, like you always do. Don't let him worm his way out or butter you up, please hold him accountable for any misgivings he had caused. His sister's never did it back when they were younger (leaving a not-so-small paranoia of broken promises), so he's going to make a big request of you too: you're going to be held accountable too. If you have a flaw that hurts or makes others uncomfortable, he's allowed to call you out on it. And if starts on anyone and you hear him out of line, please go ahead and hold him accountable. Deal, bestie?

♢ Being affirming of him does wonders too, he's a bit of a liar (but you can see what's the truth just by a bit of watching). Cater claims he's going to use this school to network and make the best in life, but his grades are neutral if not a little bad… well, he's not lazy like other's claim, but just not a bright star in academia. You can tell it's probably something personal, so you don't ask just yet: but you do keep an eye on him just in case he needs anything. You know he'll take a handout rather than an offer to help (even though he's emotionally smart enough to see right through you).

🫐 Deuce Spade

♤ Your so cool, how did he get a friend like you?! Deuce is a straightforward guy, so this is literally the easiest friendship anybody saw coming. It happened mostly because of mutual sympathy for each other's struggles, and how emotionally ready you both are. Please, stay his friend, he enjoys this!

♤ Share information with Deuce, it's how to be get started here. Deuce is a trusting and respectful guy, so he's going to spill his beans first and speak to you about his home life. And he spares no punches, not even for himself; he was an ass to other's, a bully to some, and a problem child for his mother… Please, share some words of sympathy or praise for going straight after that. Share your own experiences, don't let him hog the conversation! Apologies!

♤ He likes self care, he has no idea why. Self care was just this mystic and almost expensive word that made his younger brain swirl with ideas. But now? He knows it's just taking "Me Time" and just destressing however you can, and if a bit of money is spent there then meh. But his form of self care would be venting his frustrations verbally before just doing some grooming he might have missed out on (maybe use that cream Vil told him makes him look nice, or use the bath salts Cater praises)...

♤ Playing fair is paramount to talking and/or conflicting with Deuce. Deuce can get rather upset real fast, but he's not just going to jump to conclusions, he swears! Your fair point of view and cool head stopped him from at least a couple of headbutting incidents, and he values anything you tell him to calm him down. He doesn't care if you use big words sometimes, just try and not overload him while he's already in a bad mood/buzzing near physical violence (only on those that deserve it and won't listen)!

♤ You called him a "Good Boy" once and now he's just flabbergasted in the good way: he didn't think he needed praise but here he is. He's already gone through his rocky emotional phaseーwhen he was a bullyーand he thought he was emotionally maturing. Tell him it's not childish to like being praised for his work (it works on Sebek) and you'd gladly do it again because his work is genuine, and honestly good. He gets flustered from this, help him!

🍒 Ace Trappola

♡ Just starting a talk might be hard with him, as his first sentence to you was, "Hold on…" and then he walked away. You're most likely not the chasing type (and even if you are, he was rude about it) so you start to take off and decide to talk to him later. Next time you see him, he's actually surprised you're trying again to talk to him… and then he kinda apologizes for doing that, he was too stunned to chase after you after that.

♡ Listen to what he says carefully. He's both brutally honest and a natural liar, and being a liar is hard to shake even if he wants to. He called it "Youngest Sibling Survival Tactics #2" and told you not to mind it much: but that's up to you to decide. He is going to lie, but you can easily learn the signs of it like everyone else (you're not the best liar to people that know you, Ace).

♡ If you have something cool about you that matches with what he wants to learn (like basketball trucks, or fashion tips, or some such) then he'll totally show you his sleight of hand tricks! He likes trades to be fair (... Azul) and he'll tell you anything! He's not Floyd where he's absolutely captivated and tries things prematurely, he will listen and attempt with gusto.

♡ Whenever you're disappointed in him, don't judge him too harshly. Ace can cross a line just like anybody else, and if he reaches that threshold, tell him off. And don't make assumptions about what he meant, just use first person feelings to help it get across. "I didn't think you had it in you" or "I am disappointed", like that. (But he still might get defensive, so…)

♡ He's a younger brother and a son, so he's willing to talk about family with you. Just don't be too upset if he has a take on things from the baby sibling perspective. He also likes throwing shade at Trey for fun at how he acts about people younger than him, so have fun stopping him! … But he will if you aren't having fun.

♡ It's a process with Ace, just take your time. He's just like anybody else in this school: anxious of betrayal, and just learning how to do this or that. Help him with his classwork, help him cook something, help him with your opinion on clothes… anything to just show you are on his side. After what happened at Octavinelle, he'll never take friends for granted again!

Ever After High X Twisted Wonderland.

I was high when I made this please forgive the babble. I needed it to be said.

OKay so arguably the TWSTverse goes the best with the EAHverse. I may rant about Descendants later but lemme get this out first via Headcanon.

Riddle Rosehearts:

Pre OB! Royal Post OB! Rebel

The hedgehogs get along.

He and Lizzie have an odd relationship. They both have mommy issues but they both want to live up to their mothers' standards. Riddle has a hyperfixation for her mom and a deep seeded pride regarding her, that gets strained when he and Lizzie commiserate about shitty moms. Lizzie feels weird cuz he's nice but he idolizes her mom and that's awkward when you both have bad moms you still love in a strained almost begrudging way. They're good friends but don't seem like it due to the awkwardness of it all

He really gets along with Kitty and Maddie. Strangely Maddie is the one that reminds him of Che'Nya (Kitty does too because duh but personality wise). Always talking in riddles and rhymes but still a very good friend.

Gets introduced to Ginger via Trey and has to fight himself internally to not fucking ask for a strawberry tart from her. He's genuinely curious as to what it tastes like but knows that Trey would grill his ass into knowing which one was better and would face Dorm Card Trey Consequences.

Trey Clover:

Rebel and always has been.

He's great friends with Lizzie due to her being kinda just a tamer Riddle.

Friends with Kitty and Maddie as well.

Has had baking contests with Ginger. (Friendly? maybe.)

Midkey respects Daring for having that pearly white of teeth. He's a little jealous, but Trey has the leg up because Daring is kinda vapid.

Is weirdly close with Mad Hatter cuz Trey is always able to concoct whatever weird flavor he's asked for.

Cater Diamond:

He's a Rebel 4lifer

He and Goldie are fucking ride or die besties. Swapping influencer tips? Yes. I bet they even got matching endorsements.

Him and Maddie are besties but not as much. He likes how bubbly she is.

Cater also really gets along with Briar and they're able to connect a little about insecurities and socializing stress.

Cater would fucking love it here everything is so aesthetic and his Magicam would blow tf up plus he's so girlie pop I don't think the transition would be that hard for him. He fits in really well.

Deuce Spade:

Rebel

NGL him and Ace also fit into EAH really well they're good people (most of the time) and their flaws are light hearted enough to survive transplanting. Deuce is just a lil ditzy and has some anger issues but really loves his mom and baby chickens??? Just a little guy energy.

He would get along well with Cerise imo. Their vibes are similar to me, that is the best explanation I have.

Probably has a crush on Raven he also relates somewhat to the bad past but wants to be good things.

Ace Trappola:

Rebel

Ace is a shitter. Fucking asshole goofster. But he has a pretty decent head on his shoulders.

Really gets along with Kitty being two shitsers.

Strangely good friends with Lizzie. I mean if you're gonna rule at least be fair yeah?

Epel Felmier:

Rebel

He's absolute BESTIES with Darling. Because they're both feminine and want to break out of what life has assigned them.

He's also pretty tight with Cedar.

Wants to be friends with Ramona so so so so so fucking bad.

Vil Schoenheit:

I hate to say it but my man is a centrist.

He understands and respects the audacity the royals have to think they can force others into roles they aren't meant for. However that's kinda his whole fucking issue in life. He doesn't mind some of the Royals, Apple is certainly more bearable than Neige and I'm certain that Vil can see right through her.

Sympathizes with Apple honestly. He'd want to like this Evil Queen and has pointed out her good points like being strong at magic and a good manipulator but also she's kinda a bitch so womp womp.

Totally gets along with Raven he's like the midpoint between the two.

Is very annoyed by Goldie.

Hangs out with Cupid and Rook sometimes.

Good friends with and commiserates with Duchess.

Rook Hunt:

Rebel ofc bb

Bro if so girly pop and hangs out with Cupid. They go on about pretty things and love together. He and Vil encourage her to go after Dexter.

He's aloof enough to fit into the EAH verse.

Does his rounds with the cast susing them out. Has the Leona infatuation with Ramona.

Isn't fond of Goldie she's too keen to pry into his life.

Idia Shroud:

Is a Doomer Royal with Rebel sentiments.

Bro is maybe too sad for EAH but the books are a lil kwazy soo…

He hangs out with the gamer boys sometimes like Humphrey and Dexter if he has to socialize.

Would rather hang with Ortho but Ortho is hanging out with Cedar.

Fucking hates it here.

Ortho Shroud:

Bro fucking LOVES it here. Absolute Rebel.

He and Cedar are FAST FAST friends for being non human humans.

Loves hanging with Maddie and the girls.

Probably has like a shitpost Snap/Insta with the wackiest fucking pictures of himself, Cedar. Briar, Raven and Maddie. Like drunk college kid shit, tiddlywinks and necromancy.

Is everyone's little brother and he fucking THRIVES being able to be an enabled little shitter. No clue who helped Kitty and Ace with their latest prank. Couldn't be sweet Ortho! He's just a little guy!

Azul Ashengrotto:

Considered a neutral student for business, but is very much a pragmatist about it whatever the fuck that means lmao. He's a Rebel

Is both sad and relieved there aren't more eels.

He and Hopper are besties tho.

Suave cool guys sometimes and fucking trainwrecks otherwise? Kinnies even

Becomes lowkey midkey hydrophobic upon learning Meeshell turns fishy when wet.

Jade and Floyd:

Both Rebels ofc

Floyd and Jade are living it tf up.

Jade is investigating new mushrooms

Floyd is fucking shit up everywhere he goes and teaching them basketball or learning their basketball.

OFC Floyd has the nicknames on DECK

Maddie likes Floyd's silly nicknames and isn't so fond of him being mean sometimes.

She's also like mildly scared of Jade but he's nice to her dad and they talk about mushroom tea and treats so he's okay in her book.

Floyd always be racing Ramona or Cerise or doing some dumb shit with Briar.

Jade does his girlboss info gathering like in the one vignette with Vil where he looks so pathetically malewife.

Cedar is kept very very far from them.

Jamil Viper:

Rebel and honestly most of them are.

Surprisingly hangs out with Justine and Duchess.

They be dancing N shit y'know.

Surprisingly gets along with Ashlynn.

Hangs out with Duchess when she gets fed up with Leona.

They vent about Kalim and Princess.

Kalim Al-Asim

Rebel but is so bubbly and sympathetic he's almost a centrist.

Kalim is so sweet he'd be like "Yeah Apple I totally get you wanna be queen and stuff but it makes Raven sad. :((("

Man is living it UP per usual.

He's hanging with every single person he can.

Absolute besties with Briar and Melody.

He's such a ball of sunshine.

He'd be so fucking happy here.

Leona Kingscholar:

Rebel ofc and would be a lot more dramatic about it than Raven is/was.

She ripped the page out of the Book of Legends? Bestie Leona would've dusted the whole thing like Azul's contracts. 👀 👀

Okay that's exaggerating he would've done the same thing.. Maybe

Honestly jokes aside he'd be more akin to Idia. A doomer rebel.

He bothers tf out of Duchess and they're actually good friends.

Her drive to succeed kinda invigorates him.

Leona in the EAHverse would come to be like a god-tier version of himself. It would force his character development into being better than Falena imo. Yeah you could look at him and say he's just laze around, but in the middle of not only a class, but a life threatening conflict that is so deeply entwined with his actual life? If you ask me a PostOB! Leona would be all OVER this shit. He would be making full on plans and figuring shit out like well…a king. *laugh track*

He hangs a lot with Maddie and Ashlynn.

Rosabella is also very nice to him. They're like sibs imo. She tells him to be nicer he tells her she's short or smthn and gives her backbone a boost.

Ruggie with a more developed Leona and with something solid to stand for would be a force to be reckoned with ngl. Even tho I think Ruggie has the weird trauma impulse that he has to earn his keep or earn others love for him so while I think Leona would be nicer to Ruggie part of that kindness is the unspoken way Leona lets Ruggie "steal" from him or do his laundry or whatever to feel like he has "earned" that money or food when those are just things people should do for you or do their best to provide for you because you exist and you are loved and cared for.

Anyway I just think we'd get a softer and a bit less cynical Ruggie. Not less crafty tho.

Jack Howl:

Rebel obvi.

Absolute besties with the Wolf sisters.

They do wolf things together.

Honestly I don't think much would change for him.

He'd be with the Savannaclaw boys being huge Rebel activists because of course they are. <3

Malleus Draconia:

Conflicted but ultimately a Rebel. Understands that people have things they need to do but they should be afforded the choice if possible.

HUGE HUGE BESTIES with Raven. Goth Girlies Unite!!!

Being around Raven and Maddie alot does WONDERS with him being more social and approachable. Maddie is their "cute item"

Hangs out with Cupid a lot after hearing about an old Gargoyle friend she had and REALLY wants to go to Monster High and meet her.

Fucking hates Faybelle. Thinks it's uncouth to crash parties.

Gets so so sad just looking or thinking about Briar.

They're mega besties tho and he like apologizes several times over even though it wasn't his Thorn Fairy that caused this. Immortality sucks dick.

She tells him to chill and shows him how to work a phone. /hj

They cry into ice cream and go on adventures a lot.

Lilia Vanrouge:

Sebek would be whatever Malleus is because loyalty. He is in all honesty so truly deeply conflicted.

All he wants to do is be a good knight for Malleus. He has wanted this forever. It's like his destiny. But then again he kinda (maybe? Idk I haven't read chapter 7 anything) got to choose this. But he should be loyal to whatever it is Malleus chooses, but what if in this world the book chose some STRANGER to be Malleus' knight and not him? AND THEN WHAT IF

In short he's very likely a Rebel he's just gotta get their.

Crisis of Identity part 2 aka (I've conquered my internalized racism at being part human but now I'm not sure who I am personality and morality wise. What a conundrum! The Musical The Series The Musical.)

He hangs out with Darling and Chase as well.

Is also pretty close with Cerise and Raven.

All in all things would go pretty well together not that ANY of what I said explains that, but in long:

EAH is based on the idea of Destiny v.s Free Will and talks about the deep seeded fears and problems that would come from a society that tells you you must be one thing your whole life when you want to be another. Which goes very well with how the Overblots happen.

Riddle is pressured and abused by his mother to be a perfect star child and that pressure is too much for him and he snaps.

Leona is always considered second best and less than his brother.

Azul has a poorly written (imo) overblot but he wants to feel comfortable in his own skin and feels he needs to do so by being in total control of every situation so he can look good and not feel inferior, as he was bullied in his childhood.

Jamil has to downplay himself to make Kalim look better and is made to live a life where he can never be his true self.

Vil also has a poorly written overblot (imo) but he wants to feel loved and appreciated and to not be the villain he's always casted as. (Literally Raven's ENTIRE thing)

Idia wants to be a hero, and cope with the guilt of feeling like he killed his brother.

Malleus is grappling with mortality and not having a "proper" family. (Briar does the first half of this in the show)

EAH also does bend and change these "destinies"

Darling being Apple's "Prince"

Daring being with Rosabella when he was certain he'd be with Apple.

In the books, Cedar coming to terms with "being human" without having to be made of physical flesh and bone or being actually human. Thus disregarding the need for her story.

Apple being the more ruthless between her and Raven when she is supposed to be kind and sweet.

Red and Big Bad being together.

In the books again, Brooke interacting with the story.

So in long with shit for details and no real argument. I think Ever After High and TWST would make a great crossover and maybe I just want more people to do more idk modern(??) things with EAH. But also I'm a sucker for X but a Highschool/College thing.

Modern/Gen Z! Yuu…but nursery rhymes.

Just Modern! Yuu saying normal phrases we say here…but since it’s Twisted Wonderland no one knows what the fuck they’re talking about.

Case in point:

Modern! Yuu: Rain, rain, go away, come again another day~

Riddle: What are you doing? Is that some sort of chant to make the rain go away? I thought your world didn’t have magic?

Modern! Yuu: …oh

Modern! Yuu, grinning: No, I wasn’t lying about being magicless. But there are phrases that people say that have a random chance of it happening.

Modern! Yuu: It’s just that I wanted the rain to go away, but I guess I was unlucky…

Riddle: Oh, that makes sense. I don’t think that works here, but good luck next time.

Modern! Yuu, trying not to laugh: ThAnks Riddle.

Yeah, Yuu just makes up stuff about what Nursery Rhymes they say actually do and laugh as they make others confused.

Modern! Yuu: Star light, star bright, First star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have this wish I wish tonight.

Malleus: What are you doing, child of man?

Modern! Yuu: A chant we do back in my world. You know, if you say it to the first star you see, the star might grant your wish.

I know this one’s short but since the 2nd DRB started I’ve been on a Hypmic adrenaline high & I wanted to do something! Let’s GOOOOO! 💖

The Division Rap Battle, a competition held in your world. Everyone has heard your stories many times: an event hosted by the government to milk out the competitors entertainment. Where they put both their pride and body on the line for victory and vendetta. The roaring crowd and stalking eyes were almost too much to handle.

A world where women reign supreme and violence is solved with the power of words. Stealing territory from other divisions was a means to survive, life was like a non-stop turf war. Your friends had come to such a place to visit you. After your departure, they all decided to see you one last time. But clearly much has changed since you left Twisted Wonderland.

Heartslabyul 🌹

“I despise your excessive prying into my business...”

Blurs of vivid colors and watching eyes, like a parade of madness bouncing along...

Riddle had never seen such a look on your face. Anger and disgust painted your normally-cheerful expression as your big, round eyes burned with hatred for your opponent. It was a sinister and violent sensation, one that sent chilling waves down his spine as you walked away. This only proved just how little everyone knew about you despite all the time you’ve spent together.

You always seemed to describe your world as a fun little playground despite how things were running now, but you never shared too much about yourself. A melancholy look always clouded your eyes before you quickly reverted back to your charming self, flashing that adorable smile. The Y/N they knew was always so friendly, but this person before him seemed like a total stranger.

Savanaclaw 🦁

“This is my business, now stay out of it!”

The wrath of death’s embrace as a skeleton’s laugh pierced the atmosphere...

You had never yelled in such a manner before, actually scratch that, you have plenty of times. But you’ve never been severely angry with your friends before. It wasn’t like you were upset to see them, but you had more important matters to deal with. That really pissed Leona off, coming all this way just to see you and you tell them to get lost. The tension in the air was thick as you two stared each other down, but you simply pushed past them with forceful steps.

Sharp words of vengeance and resentment sent your opponent flying back as you slayed, causing the audience to erupt in cheers. You sent a sharp glare up at Leona in the stands, as if you were flaunting to him just how strong you’ve become. With a stone cold face you looked away from him and loomed over your opponent, like a predator who had just caught its prey.

Octavinelle 🐚

“This is something I need to do...”

A heated soul pounding through thundering drums of war...

While you were happy to see the benevolent businessman and his chaotic company, you didn’t really have time to worry about them. Your main concern right now was your brothers, entering a heated fight with someone as dangerous as the rival you so despised was frightening. While Azul too was worried, he wasn’t about to come between you and your well-sought victory, he could see that look in your eyes.

Azul knows that feeling all too well, the look of someone who’s drowning in their own resentment and hatred. Hatred for others as they drive a knife into your heart, and clinging onto that past was hard. The Division Battle was truly something to behold, the adrenaline leaking out of their body as you unfortunately fell to the hands of your enemy. Unable to move, you helplessly glared at your opponent before falling unconscious. And all he could do was watch.

Diasomnia 🐉

“I apologize for showing you this side of me.”

Radiant light bestows great sorrow and tragedy...

Violence was something you preferred to avoid, but it was in times like this was when you welcomed it. Which surprised young Malleus a bit when you made your goal for victory quite clear. Though instead of letting your drive for truth cloud your judgement, you chose to look after your teammates while you lead them into battle. Keeping a cool demeanor in the face of danger was something he always admired about you.

Your opponent however was different. Instantly he detected the violent waves seeping off them, but you kept your cool through the entirety of the match. During this, Malleus saw the eyes of curious predators gaze upon him. How strange. They spoke of peace yet sacrificed the well-being of their citizens as a form of entertainment. However, he felt something much deeper was involved as he watched you.

Azul, after getting the appropriate Dream Cycle knows that Enkidu is the opposite of harmless, just like Yuu. Really, whenever he sees them he's slightly on edge since Gil talks to Enkidu as his EQUAL. Not as someone that he sees as below him. Crowley is just glad that Jekyll has some sense, and Hyde is his own person so really he's more angry at Hyde than Jekyll for his mishaps. Although he does judge Jekyll heavily since why did the potion seem like there wouldn't be negative effects?!

oh man, speaking of that potion, like the original medicine was the way it was because of an impurity WITHIN it, that could later NOT be replicated (in the book I mean), and that effectively screwed Jekyll in particular.

Thankfully, not the case for Fate Jekyll, but...YEAH.

Azul just straight up

around Enkidu and Yuu. The team up was meant to be, with how similar they are to each other.

Azul is only lucky he has Gilgamesh under contract to keep him from acting out. (because not even a Master/Servant relationship means that Gil will chill)

Also, a fun idea to consider.

Riddle ending up with Nursery Rhyme...since her name is Alice...and she LOVES to eat sweets.

She’s a bit of a handful at times, BUT...Riddle gets to actually cut loose around her, so it’s like...really good for him, since he’s still moving on from some serious issues given to him by his horrible mom (WHO I WANT TO FIGHT).

(I am invested in this character study potential, and will now put it on the backburner)

Rainy Days

It’s raining outside but warm in your heart.

Riddle Rosehearts

Riddle immediately checks on all the animals to ensure that their enclosure is set up to protect them from the rain. He enlists the help of several students and reminds them that the animal’s welfare is most definitely related to theirs. The dorm leader is not afraid to off some heads if the hedgehogs get sick!

The rain generally forces all the students into the dorm buildings. Given Heartslabyul is already at full capacity, he tries to ensure the students follow the rules despite being more cramped.

School does not end just because it rains so he has a homework session with you. Catching up on assignments, writing lab reports, making study notes, all while taking refuge in the library or perhaps listening to the gentle sound of rain.

To reward you for your efforts, he’ll host a mini tea party for the two of you! The cool rain practically invites you to make a warm cup of tea. Depending on your mood, the two of you might try a new blend or perhaps an old favourite. Either way, it’ll be accompanied by a lovely dessert! Strawberry tart, rose petal petit fours, spiced chocolate cake, it all depends on what’s in season and Trey’s latest interest.

Leona Kingscholar

Cuddles for days when it rains! It’s not as if Leona is super productive or energetic on any given day but he most certainly is not getting all wet in the rain voluntarily. Lions do hunt during storms but Leona is more likely to go demand food be brought to him and laze about with you in his arms

He doesn’t treat rainy days as anything special but the two of you are likely doing separate things in the same space. You might be studying while he plays chess, reading as he naps, and so on

When the rain comes down, the two of you indulge in peaceful silence –– softly stroking hair with his head on your lap or leaning on his chest with a tail wrapped around your leg accompanied by the pitter patter of raindrops falling

Azul Ashengrotto

Work never rests and Azul does not use rainy days as a sign to take a break

Rainy days, sunny days, all are good for business. He welcomes people to take cover from the rain in Mostro Lounge, while deliberating what item to buy off the menu of course

In the Sea of Corals, rain is treated much differently. Naturally no one who lives in the water fears getting wet, but rain does affect salinity and temperature of the ocean surface. Living in the depths of the sea means that rain is pretty new to Azul

It is kind of interesting for him to see rain and both how those on land treat it. He most definitely enjoys the uptick of warm drinks being ordered and unfortunately comes to learn how uncomfortable wet clothes are.

The Octavinelle dorm is underwater so you don’t hear the soft sound of pouring rain unless you two were caught somewhere else before the downpour, such as the library or between classes. If you are, the background noise will most likely consist of a pen writing and drops of water hitting a window.

Kalim Al Asim

When it rains, Kalim would rather go out dancing than take shelter. The rain can help cool the temperature and nothing can damper Kalim’s mood. With grey skies blocking the sun, you can take refuge in Kalim’s sunny smile

Kalim stomps through puddles without hesitation. Clothes can be cleaned and he doesn’t mind getting wet! He’ll be delighted if you decide to join him frolicking in the rain. There’s no rhyme or reason really, you two just don’t let some cloudy skies get in the way of having a good time.

After the rain, there’s a rainbow! And if not Kalim can use his unique magic to make one. It’s a beautiful sight and the perfect way to end exploring and playing in the rain.

Warm up afterwards with hot chocolate or warm tea with milk as the two of you dry off. Be careful not to catch a cold or else you might end up with a grumpy Jamil

Vil Schoenheit

If he goes out, it’s with an umbrella, rain coat, and hair protectant to make sure his hair doesn’t get frizzy. No matter the weather, Vil intends to look beautiful.

With running outside on the tracks now out of the question, Vil is likely focus on yoga and weight training. He may do different forms of cardio though depending on the equipment and space available

Fresh and frozen fruits in his smoothie add colour to a dreary day while he also makes sure to get some vitamin D to make up for lack of sun

Vil never skips on his skincare routine ever, consistency is key, but on rainy days he might opt for a longer one. If you’re close, you might get to join him for a masking session! Or perhaps just be lucky enough to bask in his presence and get a glimpse at what he does to maintain the prettiest skin you’ve ever seen

Vil works on blog columns, plans social media posts, picks outfits, crafts potions, and completes homework on rainy days. If a plan or two has been cancelled, he gets ahead on other work. Vil does not waste day and he expects you to do the same!

May spare a kiss or two after skincare and removal of makeup if you were productive too

Idia Shroud

Nothing much changes for the homebody. He hardly had any plans to go out in the first place, but he hopes that gym class gets cancelled

Idia does have to check that packages didn’t get too wet! He might be anxious or frantic if he knew something delicate, limited edition, or precious is expected to be delivered during the dreary weather

Ortho wears water proof protectant so Idia isn’t overly worried, but he might do a check up or two just in case or if a scan shows abnormalities

He’s not opposed to some hot chocolate or warm drinks if you want! He’ll use headphones and try to keep quiet if you want to enjoy the sound of rain while you’re together

Suggest some comfy cuddles during the downpour and you’ll have a blushing mess on your hands, but he definitely doesn’t move away when you scoot closer!

Rainy days have never been something fun for him, if anything one too many classmates watch him to see how his hair reacts with the water droplets, but they’re a bit more cozy with you

Malleus Draconia

One would think that Malleus has lived so long that rainy days lose meaning. While the Valley of Thorns isn’t a particularly rainy place, it is not so uncommon that it’s a cause for uproar. The weather changes as it always does.

However, the two of you are likely to spend the day exploring! Rain means you get to see the gargoyles in action as their purpose to function as gutters while protecting buildings from the water

If you’re having fun walking in the rain and enjoying the splashing sounds of your boots hitting water, then he’ll join you! It’s not something he does normally, but he can hardly resist your excited grin and extended hand as you invite him to join.

You both indulge each other with your favourite rainy day activities. Many dates take place under cloudy skies with the sound of rainfall to accompany you
