Didn't you just claim in the sentence prior to NOT be advocating for raiding? Yet that sentence literally contradicts everything you just said? By insinuating people can doxx and raid that server? Pick one, maybe?

Let's not take away from the point, doxxing is horrible, it's illegal and NOBODY should be doing this, no matter who you are, and this server should not have had to go through that. But this is not the way, as server staff, to be handling such a situation. ESPECIALLY not doubling down and giving a major victim complex over harmful, and quite frankly, incorrect, views.

The real kicker?

This is straight from the rules of their server.

So "Just like how you guys come in this server... They can go into yours" isn't talk about raiding, then? So the rules only apply to the people OUTSIDE of the server? Got it. Your own rules don't even apply to you. Checks out.

Like, who would have thought the discord for the subreddit known for fakeclaiming and policing disorders would be bad too! On so many levels!

And if the server being mentioned (whose name I blurred out for privacy) did do the things this server is claiming they did... You don't think it's for a reason? Like I said before, doxxing and raiding are inexcusable no matter who does it, but I'm sure this server was not chosen indiscriminately.

These are not the kinds of people you want to listen to. They've clearly demonstrated they're immature, incapable of understanding the rules, even the ones they set in place, and most of all, only care about creating an echo chamber of hate and harm.

Just wanna come out and say I love r/systemcringe and r/fakedisordercringe! They’ve created such a healthy view on so many disorders and haven’t contributed to any online negativity, bullying or harassment at all!! When I go on there all I see is positivity, healthy open mindsets and understanding of the financial, societal and race/gender/etc based biases of the diagnostic process! In fact, I feel like everyone on there is acutely empathetic and sympathetic to the needs of outcasted and marginalised communities! They’re contributing to such a kind online space and I welcome them with open arms!

so, recently, we got posted to syscringe (for the second time).

we were only there to take down posts that had us in them, I'm the one whose in charge of stuff like that.

but the screenshot was of a conversation we had earlier in a discord server, that we could have sworn was safe. not only did it have a wonderful verification system, it has wonderful people in it too. but nontheless, it meant someone who was active in the subreddit was watching that conversation. they were watching us have a conversation in a place we thought were safe. we had mentioned, "oh, if we find out later down the line we're not plural and we just misinterpreted something, thats not a bad thing. "

it was a calm and safe environment for a conversation like that. at least we thought.

someone, either someone partaking in the convo or a random person who had infiltrated the server, had taken a screenshot and posted it to the subreddit. they agreed that its fine if people are exploring their identity but "its still harmful to actual systems. "

not only did seeing that kind of trigger my own paranoia—because again, we thought the server was safe. the post didn't make much sense. if someone realizes they arent a system later down the lime, how is that harmful to systems? if someone realizes, oh, i wasnt actually plural, how is that harmful to plural peoples?

if they truly thought they were plural, and thus joined the community, they did no harm to it. and when they later figure out they aren't, they still aren't harming it, they just figured something about themself. and theres nothing wrong with that?

i think the people in that subreddit throw around the term harmful around a lot, same with faker and such. i dont think the subreddit is in good faith at all.

what i gather from this post is

be careful with who you talk to. even if a discord server or wherever you're hanging out seems safe, some people are just really nasty and will do whatever they can to bully others.

and

the r/syscringe and similar subreddits are full of people who don't really know what they're talking about.

a little message to my therian friends: Do not use the Therian Guide Forums.

The owner of the site, Dustwolf, is transphobic and supports it under the guise of “allowing free speech” as well as supposedly defending biology. Specifically, he is against and tacitly supports people who are against especially genders based around species, or who are otherwise outside of the binary and whatever could be considered in between. He did nothing about people arguing to me that they do not need to respect a person’s gender because of culture or (bad) biology.

He essentially told me that they deserve to have “free speech”. Told me that he was doing what he was to “protect the community”. Like, protect who? The bigots? Your small little bigoted group of therians? Really?

Other things—Sysmedicalism was endorsed by the previous owner (and also literal child predator and bestiality committer. he has since been banned but co owner Dustwolf remains as sole owner) LycanTheory. The wording he uses includes rejecting self diagnoses of disorders that go under the label of plurality, and asks way too much personal, even confidential information of systems—“why should we accept anybody’s claims of ‘plurality’ without a professional diagnosis or history of treatment”. r/systemcringe talking points get regurgitated there as well.

The forums also allow discussion of zoophilia while at the same time banning mention of consent, and i really hope i do not have to explain why this is pretty gross and dangerous.

Rejected and banned members on the forum get labeled as “human”. Disrespecting somebody’s identity for any reason is pretty disgusting. Don’t particularly care what theyve done to make people believe they should be treated that way.

Dustwolf and previous co-owner LycanTheory have advocated for therian seperatism and clearly look down on non-therians under the alterhuman umbrella. Dustwolf does so while simultaneously trying to dunk on feminism and “identity politics”.

I saw kids applying to be on these forums when i was first trying to learn about my otherkinity and found this website (it is considerably high up in search results relating to therian information). I am worried for them. Please warn people against using this website as best you can. The sense of community you might get there is just not worth the potential damage to your identity journey and emotional state.

It's because, surprise surprise, fakeclaiming is harmful. It doesn't matter what it is, if you're getting fakeclaimed over a unique and individual experience/identity, that can (and sometimes will, sadly) cause a spiral that can lead to some nasty places. Depression. Isolation.

Even places like self-harm and suicide.

We are here because your server is harmful. We are here because you present an active threat to the community. But of course your HIGHNESS can't bear to think they're the problem!

And my opinion is that people like Sophie, people like Cambrian and Lunastas and Guardian- all of them are fucking right. Well. You see, while I personally choose to censor Discord usernames to close loopholes like this, it's actually not the same as if you sent a Tumblr handle. What you're seeing in those screenshots are not identifiers, they are server nicknames. Which are specific to THAT SERVER ONLY. Unlike places like Tumblr and Twitter, where seeing your name automatically means someone can find you, on Discord it's actually not possible (that I know of) to doxx someone through a server nickname alone. So no, actually, Sophie didn't leave your username out there, only a server nickname, and the two are not the same. So yes, actually. Because Discord is it's own site with it's own way of handling usernames, it is perfectly acceptable what Sophie did (although not perfectly ideal), because nobody is going to be able to use those names alone to doxx and/or harass.

And finally, the final update as of writing this post... the almighty @ everyone ping...

To sum it all up, phew... I guess I'm a target now! Which I'm honestly pretty damn fine with! But just know, I don't fuckin hold back. So I've seen some pretty hot takes from r/systemcringe. I'm not even sure where to start to be honest. I guess I'll start with the one that's echoing through my brain. Actually, there's two but I'll give them each their own post.

They seem to think that someone wanting plural friends is some gross statement of wanting people to suffer. Now this is mostly from a trauamgenic standpoint.

Having had a group of plural friends I hung out with some years ago, I can honestly say that none of us were thinking "I wish more of my friends suffered". Mostly what we were thinking was "Oh, you go through some of the same shit I do, you can understand in a way singlets don't." We could talk openly with each other about system stuff in ways we couldn't with singlet friends and family without having to stop and explain what "this" is or what "this" means. Sometimes you don't want to be the teacher, you just want to hang out with some friends.

It gave our system mates a chance to learn safe interactions, if they didn't know them. To learn that not everyone was evil or ready to abuse us. To learn that we can have friends too. And it gave us people to lean on in the bad times, people who understood just what those bad times were like. It gave our system mates a chance to be out for more than trauma and therapy things, to learn to have fun like "normal" people did.

It's definitely NOT a bad thing to want plural friends. It has nothing to do with wanting other people to suffer and everything to do with wanting a peer group. And you know what? Systems are allowed to want that, too.

ah, so this hasn't happened in a few years. nothing quite like getting publicly mocked by a bunch of ableist strangers online.

lots of aphobia in the comments, as i'm sure you can imagine. and people calling my diagnosed disorder(s) fake. saying i'm entitled, a kid, a danger to myself, etc.

but when i come to my (very polite) defense...

you won't guess what happened.

"white knighting". for coming to my own defense, and doing so in a very polite and mature way, mind you. the mods *know* this is just a cover-up to silence the voices of the people they're trying to oppress, so that their audience can remain in their little echo chamber.

i was at peace with my comment and was going to simply feel vindicated and let myself forget about it. but now i'm fucking angry. i already had to go to bat against r/systemcringe years ago, and i got their post of us nuked off the face of the earth. i am *not* afraid to do it again.

so yeah. if you see this post, please report theirs for hate/harassment. hopefully if we mass-report it, it'll get taken down like it has been in the past.

i'm too tired and apathetic to be hurt by what random strangers think, but i'm not going to take blatant defamation and cyberbullying laying down. if not for my own dignity, then at least for the people who end up on this pathetic subreddit and aren't as jaded as i am. (because this can be legitimately traumatizing.)

Hey hi hello folks! Not so positive rn

I just wanna say that I genuinely don't understand syscourse. (This has been prompted by syscourse)

Systems/plurals/multiples are all on the receiving end of hate. r/fakesystems hates all of us, r/systemcringe hates us; so what's the point of even arguing? People who hate systems hate us all equally, so why not try to make those people understand? I know it's hard, close minded people will almost always be close minded, but fighting others within the plural community is just kinda making it worse.

We have the ability to look at endogenic systems and say "your not harming me, why should I care why you formed sysmates". We have the ability to look at tulpa-systems and say "your not harming me, why should I care you wanted to be a system".

If we're gunna fight within ourselves why fight about something so stupid? Why should anybody care how/why your system formed? Is it anybodies business-?

Anyways, that's my little ramble, I do truthfully want replies to this, have a good day or night, and expect more posts from me ^^

System Cringe Actually Needs to Stop

I don't care if you are endogenic or traumagenic, this hurts everyone, but especially self-discovered disordered systems. People are being harassed and fake claimed for actual symptoms of DID at this point. They make fun of everything from actual jokes to diagnosed systems. It's disgusting. In r/fakedisordercringe, they will literally delete your message if you so much as attempt to defend the person with reason. You are stupid if you think all of the people on that subreddit are faking because of the bullshit reasons the posters give. Sure, some may be faking, let's say they are. What would be more beneficial to them and to their community: Berating them online for "faking" a disorder or ignoring them. If you are oh so desperate to interact with this person, there are so many other things you could do then blatantly tell them. You don't have this disorder. You are faking. And various other things. You could give them resources, ask them why they believe they have the disorder (if you are close enough, don't ask strangers this), or basically anything else.

Also, even if they were purposely faking the disorder, a random person on the internet cussing them out and telling them they aren't real isn't going to make them stop. On top of that, if someone is purposefully faking a disorder, there are bigger issues there. Most people don't just wake up one day and decide to put together an elaborate plan to convince everyone they have a disorder, especially a really heavily stigmatized one. If someone is faking a disorder, they need help, the need someone to talk to, and somewhere to be themself. Chances are they are struggling in life for other reasons, and being an asshole on the internet is not going to stop that.

Anyways there is my rant about r/systemcringe and r/fakedisordercringe! I despise both and if you post people or make fun of people on there do not talk to us.

This post was mostly created for us to get out our feelings and possibly share the feelings with others since one of our friends got posted on r/fakedisordercringe for an absolute bullshit reason and it made us go down the hell hole that fake claiming on Reddit.

like, either you think that for some reason it's fine when singlets use them, but if someone has multiple self-states then it's suddenly absurd when one or more of those self states IDs with neo/xenopronouns, OR you think all neo/xeno-users are "cringe" & therefore the fact that this person has a CDD should actually be irrelevant.

these posts are useless, harmful & queerphobic. alters being queer & expressing their identity in a way you deem cringe doesn't make them "fake". alters can be complex & fully-developed with a whole identity, like singlets are. stop with this shit!

I cannot fucking stand the people on r/fakedisordercringe and r/systemcringe going around and saying RAMCOA and TBMC doesn't exist and it's just "satanic panic" and "antisemitism". That has been debunked SO MANY times. And there's valid books and sources written by professionals as a way to educate people on the topic.

Also while they say this dumbassery and claim RAMCOA and TBMC to be fake they also go onto sites and subreddits for victims and post screenshots of victims stories just to mock it and fakeclaim it. And then they wonder why so many victims refuse to share their story and wonder why certain subreddits are private.

It's so fucking appalling and I wish Reddit would take these subreddits down. It's straight up bullying and ableism.
