EMMETT CULLEN AND SKIN CARE 💖

i did this one with Jasper and y’all seemed to like it. I think I am going to write with the others Twilight characters :)

warnings: swearing and Emmett being weird.

So first of all, Emmett cares about his appearance. Like, a lot.

Even though he can’t age and his skin is flawless, he will still wear some makeup sometimes (usually for fun)

Dating a human has been a quite funny experience to him. He loves to watch you doing human regular things.

And this include him watching you doing your skin care routine completely AMUSED

His eyes literally shined when he first saw how much different and colorful products you keep in your vanity

Every night you’ll be using your regular serum and he will beg for his life to see you using that pink face mask that you recently bought because it’s ✨cute✨

Emmett is always delighted when you ask him to go shopping with you

“I’m not using this, babe, it’s not for my skin type”, you say as he keeps putting things in your basket just because he wants

“I’ll try it on my skin”, he’d say

He doesn’t care if you’re doing your own shit, he wants to sit besides you in your vanity bench and wants you to put all sorts of products in his face

“How do you feel?”, you say after finally put a red face mask on his face

“Fucking delicious”, and the boy will put the most devilish grin in his face

Emmett lived during the 90s and he had created this deep fantasy within him of a skin care date night watching a movie or so

Now that you’re his soulmate, that is possible

So he LOVES to pick a movie (Usually something like Hocus Pocus or maybe Clueless) and sit in your carpet in front of the screen while you wait for the products to dry or to make some effect on your skin

And I have to say that Emmett is the type of person to add comments throughout the movie

I will maybe work on that later but he’s the type to add a joke during a scary scene in a terror movie that will get you wheezing instead of horrified

After a few skin care dates, Emmett developed some good taste in self care products 🤌🏻

I know that he likes his appearance but he was the type of guy to use anything he could reach.

Before you, he would use Rosalie’s shampoo (which makes her furious) and Carlisle conditioner (he doesn’t really care but it’s not for Emmett’s hair type)

But since you’ve started dating, Emmett knows his hair type, your hair type, your skin type and he has memorized every product you use everyday

Now he can go shopping by his own and buy exactly what you need

But you always go with him because it’s so much fun

Sometimes you’re just giggling around the store nonstop because of something Emmett did

Like the time he drop a whole shelf of products when he turned around to your call (and his shoulder hit the shelf)

Emmett is the type of boyfriend to tag you in a Instagram’s post of those influencers skin care products haul

And you LOVE IT because he usually actually buy the products when you seemed to like one in specific

Emmett’s an angel

Being Emmett and Rose's daughter and the youngest in the Cullen family:

Emmett and Rosalie:

They are your parents, they adopted you a little bit over a century before the big move to Forks.

Unlike the people around you, you have a strong relationship with your parents. Rosalie is a loving mother and Emmett is very much an over protective father.

The over protectiveness can get annoying but you know he means well. At first he was afraid to touch you, with his super human strangth he was always afraid to be around you. That didn't stop you from when you were a baby beacuse you'd just follow him everywhere. If he was working on his jeep you were crawling under there with him holding a flashlight. If he was play video games you'll craw on the couch and read a Dr. Suse book next to him.

Rosalie always makes sure your loved a cared for. She makes sure you eat proper meals, buys you anything you want, and most importantly she's always there to listen. It's hard to keep things from her and you know you can tell her anything.

Their worst fear is you becoming a vampire... But they also don't want to lose you once you get into your old age. It's a subject that wasn't discussed and you just didn't bring it up. That's the only thing you guys fight about... That and boys.

You've never seen your father so angry when he found out Pual Imprinted on you. Rose was just disponted on who it was but she was glad you found someone you loved. I think part of her was afraid you'll end up in this same relationship she was when she dated Ryoce King.

But then they saw that dispite his temper he treated you like a queen and that's what matter.

Alice and Jasper:

These two are your godparents. I think part of Rose wanted it to be carlisle and Esma but over the years she relized Alice was the best choice.

You love Alice and all but sometimes you argue. Mostly over clothes. There's been many first days of school that you hid in carlisle's office because you didn't want to wear a dress. After school you guys do make up.

She always makes sure you know your beautiful. If your insecur about something she'll try and help you see the beauty in it. If you hate your hair she'll come up with different styles intill you find one you like.

Jasper is the one you'll set with if you want peace. If there's a big family gathering and you don't want to talk you'll be with Jasper.

To him your the only thing pure in his life and he'll tare down the world for you.

You love hearing stories from jasper's past.

Jasper tought you how to swing a bat and to play baseball.

Carlisle and Esme:

You have a strong bond with these two.

Your close to carlisle and he always inspires you to be kind to others and he's the reason you want to go to medical school.

If you have a problem that you feel you can't tell your parents you go to him.

You guys bond over books and like with Jasper, you love hearing his stories.

Carlisle is just as protective if not more than Emmett. Carlisle is very calm and collected, but if anything is causing you harm his eyes will be blazing with anger.

Esme was the first one to except your relationship with Paul... Carlisle on the other hand didn't like it.

“I don't like him”

“that's a first” Esme said rolling her eyes.

Emes loves like you like you were own daughter. She's always puts you first and would give you the world if she could.

Dispite there young aprences you call them Pops and grams. When you were a little you couldn't say carlisle properly so you just called him car then pops.

You guys love going to the movies together and they'll watch whatever you want and always show interest in what you like.

Edward and bella:

You don't get along with Bella. Pirod. She doesn't treat you like your part of the family, which it doesn't matter because you were there first.

Edward is more like a brother. Your both closer in age and he treats you like a little sister more then a niece.

He loves you but sometimes he doesn't see that Bella treats you like crap. Infact none of them do expect your mother and Carlisle.

You never told them beacuse you didn't want to ruin anything for Edward but then one day rose and carlisle cought her in the act. You made them promise not to say anything.

You and Edward are close like I said before. You don't see him as the monster he thinks he is and you always try and make his life more brighter.

You never fail to make him laugh.

He tought you how to play piano and you guys bond over music.

Bella causes problems so the day she slapped Paul and he phased she tried to pin it on you right when the family started to except him. You and Paul explained everything and Edward took your side, which you were thankful for.

The denalis:

You and Eleazar have the type of relationship that you guys make each other laugh at the wrong time. Camron and Rosalie can't take you guys anywhere.

Camron loves you to bits and taught to how to speak Spanish. She teaches to about her culture and it warms her heart that you care so much.

Tanya and Kate are like big sister to you. You have inside jokes the others don't understand and your always laughing.

Irina and your get along but you aren't close. She stoped talking to you after Paul and the pack killed Laurant. You could understand why she would be angry but it hurt knowing she hates you because you love a wolf.

Garrett and you have a love hate relationship. You guys teas and taunt each other. At first it was out of spite beacuse your personalites just didn't clash but then he grew a soft spot for you and you became buddies.

Twilight Saga Headcanons - What They Smell Like

The Cullens:

Carlisle takes great pride in his grooming, but tends to go for scentless soaps because some of his patients have allergies. Always somehow smells a little like disinfectant when he gets home after work. He somehow smells very ancient, like incense and a scent you might discover walking through an extremely old and dusty church.

Everything about Esme smells delicate. Her favorite scents as a human were floral and light, like lavender and rosewater. Definitely has an aroma of perfume that trails after her, though she doesn't wear any.

The only way to really describe Edward's scent is clean. Icy cedar, fresh snow, and oranges. It's a pure, subtle scent.

Rosalie's scent is arguably the most powerful. It isn't strong, but it's enticing. It's like warm Tennessee Whiskey and dripping honey - a scent that's designed to seduce and draw you in.

Emmett would absolutely smell like Axe body spray if Rosalie would let him wear it - she doesn't. It stings EVERYONE's noses to an insane degree. Overall, though, Emmett smells like warm velvet, like a blanket you've just pulled out of the dryer.

Even after all this time, Jasper still carries the faint scent of gunpowder. There's something about his scent that stings, like mint and eucalyptus.

Alice smells like salt and coconut, like a sweet and windy beach day. She also carries a light scent of sparking ozone, but it's so faint that sometimes they all forget that it's there.

Wolf Pack:

Sam assumes he smells so much like food because of the many hours spent in Emily's kitchen. Sam is warm honey mixed in with steaming oatmeal; fresh bread and maple syrup.

Jared used to smell like leather because of the jacket he always wore to school, but that was destroyed years ago when he phased. It's an extremely manly scent mixed with vanilla and amber.

Paul's scent is very warm and spicy, a natural and earthy woodsy musk, like the soil after a heavy rain. It can tingle your nose, but it's still very attractive.

Surprisingly, the one who smells most like the outdoors is Embry. His whole body is tied to the scent of patchouli and pine; it's a very nature-based scent.

A lot of Jacob's scent is mixed in with how much time he spends around cars, so you'll get a whiff of rush and metal and probably motor oil, but it isn't unpleasant or off-putting.

Tobacco is the leading scent for Quil, which he assumes is because of his grandfather. He also smells very much like ginger and cinnamon.

Though she's never been a big reader, Leah smells like old books and paper. It's a bit of a dusty scent, but goes well when mixed with her favorite vetiver lotion and body wash.

Seth has a very bright and welcoming smell, like cinnamon sugar or a freshly baked pie crust. It's a smell you somehow always associate with your childhood, but you can't put your finger on exactly why.

Shocked but excited to have found his imprint (especially after seeing Sam and Emily), was not expecting it to be the town mean girl but when you two are together, your total sweetheart which throws off the guys except Paul (he's the same way)

Quil

Happy that's it someone he knows, even if you two haven't talked in a few years (he always knew you two were meant to be). The pack was happy when he finally quit his moping about how much he missed you and considered himself lucky to ask you out

Jared

Thrown off when it wasn't the one girl who showed an interest in him since freshman year but once he got to know you, he knew the fates never messed up and you two were meant to be together

Paul

Never wanted an imprint but when he heard you defending him and the pack, he knew you two were meant to be, kind of like the next generations Emily and Sam (Quil and Colin like to joke around and tell him when you're not around)

Jacob

Dude was downright flabbergasted when he imprinted a year after shifting and it wasn't on his favorite (person and human), Bella. Once he got to know you, he was happy he didn't end up with her (she comes with too much drama while you two are drama free)

Seth

Never admitted out loud but after watching Emily and Sam plus Jake and Renesme together, it really made him want to find his imprint and then he found you and he was so happy, everyone jokes and says he acted like an excited puppy

Leah

Never wanted an imprint especially after the whole thing with her cousin and ex but after almost dying because she denied the imprint and worked on getting to know you, she found herself wondering how she could ever be without you

Sam

Wasn't expecting to meet you so soon after he shifted and was introduced to the supernatural world (and came to believe in the legends he was told for so long), but thinks meeting you was a secret blessing because you can calm him

Brady

Didn't know what to expect after hearing brief details about imprints, but boy was he floored when he met you and then you asked him out, he nearly passed out on the spot (the pack doesn't let him forget about it)

Collin

Knew he was going to meet his imprint at some point but was not expecting it to happen while he was out getting groceries to replace what he and the pack had devoured from Emily's and then you wind up going to his alpha's place too, boy nearly lost his mind

• He hadn’t known that you were is imprint at first, but once he found out, he would try to ignore it and make it go away. The only problem was, it didn’t go away.

• You had been uninterested in him, even more after what was happening between Bella, Edward and Jacob. You had found yourself watching them fight, with Jacob and his gang of friends in the background.

• He would stay silent, but these feelings would get way to overwhelming- crushing him whole. He couldn’t stand it. Anytime he was around you his heart would get heavy and sink, yet be all over the place in his body. The world would go silent as the only thing he could hear was he raging heartbeat. He face would get hit and his body would become heavy, as if begging him to let go a faint. He had to have you, Now.

• The way on how he told you that you are his imprint is pretty basic. While Jacob and Edward were at each other, he grabbed you by your wrist and told you straight up.

• To describe your love trip is enemies to lovers. But not the- ‘I’ve never actually hated you’ type of way, but more so a ‘You choke me, I drown you’ type of love.

• The love was forbidden, everyone knew that, but what’s the fun of following rules. You guys would pretend to hate each other meanwhile a little while after dusk you guys are in the lake, teeth clashing on teeth, you gripping at his bare shoulders as he has a tight hold on your hair.

• While it’s not 100% helpful, Paul will let you drink SOME of his blood. Only if you are about faint or desperate he’ll let you. He finds it a bit painful, so he grabbing at the nearest thing he can find. So I apologize if you walk out with a almost broken hand. He will most likely hunt for you so you can feed.

• You guys hate each others body heat, Your freezing body annoys him and his furnace like body heat annoys you.

Paul Lahote head-cannons

[some x reader head-cannons towards the end]

-he welds, this is a job that his family kinda all do. His father, grandfather all weld. HOWEVER he creates art and sculptures in his breaks. His welding is an art form, yet he is too scared to call it art.

-before phasing he hated the forest, he could never remember his way home and it always made him uncomfortable. But since phasing he adores it. He goes on hikes constantly, a personal goal of his is to hike in every national park around the country.

-he has three brothers and lives with his dad, none of them are home for long but they all love each other deeply, even if no one mentions it. His mother sadly passed away in hospital when he was 14.

-he'd never had a relationship before phasing since he was so young, all he remembers from the first shift was just pain and anger.

-he hates the idea of an imprint, unless its on the one person he grew up loving... but he'd never admit to that... (possible fic incoming)

-listens to a mix of classic rock and indie/country

-lives and breathes his leather jacket, it was his grandfathers.

-everyday after school he'd go to his grandparents home, he'd spend hours with them. He now takes his grandfather on hikes with him.

-his favorite snack is his grandmas granola, its amazing.

-on your first date its a small hike to a local river, there are flowers everywhere, the pair of you sit under a willow tree and talk for hours.

-despite this mans love for hiking he doesn't own a pair of hiking boots!! its killing you! he hikes in an old pair of vans, please get this man a pair of hiking boots even if he heals super fast it just can't be comfortable.

-he doesn't get angry at his partner, he was raised in a loving household and idolized both his parents and grandparents loving relationships. He sees his partner as an equal, he just gets protective other his pack brothers, family and significant other.

-has zero physical preference, he used to lie to his friends and make up a type but he genuinely doesn't know. It used to confuse him but he knows now that he loves someone (wonder who) for their kindness, stubbornness and the constant ability to always fight back.

-his grandparents are the only ones in his family who know about his phasing, he wont let his brothers know, as the oldest child he feels responsibility.

It will eternally be so funny to me that Meyers accidentally created ACTUAL pack dynamics in nature with the renegade pack. Like the alpha/beta bullshit has been debunked long time back. Real wolfpacks aren't like that. Packs are just synonyms for family. There's a wolf dad and a wolf mum and their babies. There can even be gay wolf couples and their adopted babies (I mean what was the whole Sam-Jacob fight thing in breaking dawn if not a giant wolf divorce lol)! And what does the renegade pack have?

A wolf dad - Jacob. A wolf mom - Leah. A wolf baby - Seth.

Yes, yes I know technically Jacob is the alpha and Leah is the beta, but the true dynamics of their wolf nature shine through and it will eternally be funny to me that ALL the packs, at the end of the day, are a family just like wolves are in reality, despite how she tries to portray them.

PS I'm not ignoring the existence of the imprints. I headcanon all the imprints as female wolves who are unable to phase and so the wolves near them 'imprint' on them to help them join the pack. The connection can be familial or romantic, but the main purpose is 'no wolf gets left behind'. But here I'm just focusing on the renegade pack's dynamics.

jacob black headcannons

he loves to drive and tends to rope his friends into spontaneous weekend road trips to seattle and portland

he loves florence and the machine

he makes a really good grilled cheese sandwich and always makes a bunch when the pack gets together for movie nights

his favorite book is frankenstein by mary shelley

he is actually a terrible singer but he loves to drive with the windows down, stereo blasting music, singing as loudly as possible

he is a really goofy dancer

he gives the biggest teddy bear hugs but they’re the best hugs you’ll ever get

he and billy have such a strong relationship that sometimes they almost seem like good friends. any time billy gives him advice, he takes it (except when it’s about girls…..)

he is an old soul in every way possible, and he loves spending time with the elders on the res and listening to their stories and telling them all his. he and the grannies are huge gossips

he’s a natural runner, even before phasing, and he was up for a spot on his school’s cross country team before he phased

when he gets stressed or angry and needs to calm down, he likes to listen to soft songs, read his favorite books, make wood carvings, make dreamcatchers - anything that will keep his mind and his hands busy

he, quill, and embry have their own unspoken language they’ve had since they were kids, and even the slightest eye rolls are full sentences. they use it to make fun of people, mostly

he secretly wishes he could have learned to play the guitar but never really got into it

he feels most comfortable in the woods, on the beach, in his car, or in smaller cozy spaces

leah convinced him to start a journal to cope with his stress, and he starts every entry with “dear stupid book” (but he writes every single day)

he knows a lot of card games (spoons is his favorite because it’s so chaotic)

he eats hot peppers like candy

he’s always down to watch action and thriller movies, but his favorites are actually the old cheesy horror movies. up until he phased, his favorite was a werewolf movie. now when he watches it, he sits through the whole two hours pointing out inaccuracies

when he was little, he wanted to be a pirate when he grew up

he can sleep anywhere

he’s very quick to justify when the people he loves hurt him because he’s scared of losing them and has a very firm belief in unconditional loyalty. on the other hand, he’s very quick to shut anyone else out when they hurt him.

he gives really good advice but wouldn’t take it for himself

he doesn’t like flashy things or flashy people

he wants to be able to work with his hands, like carpentry, and he’s always wanted to build his own house

he snores. loudly.

Hello, I would like to know if you could write preferences about the pack feeling in need of attention and affection

Sam - Sam will stare. He would rather die than say anything out loud, but you'll know he wants attention when he won't stop looking at you. His eyes will flick away when you turn toward him, but as soon as you turn your back, he'll be staring longingly at you again. He doesn't want to make you feel weird or awkward, but he just likes looking at you and hopes you want to spend time with him too.

Jared - SUCH AN ANNOYING LITTLE BABY!!! There's no hiding when he wants attention. It doesn't matter what you're doing, who you're talking to, where you are, etc. If he wants attention, he's going to get it but tossing you over his shoulder and dragging you away.

Paul - Stubborn, stubborn boy. Will deny adamantly that he needs attention, which is basically your signal that he needs a hug and a forehead kiss or something. Yeah, yeah, you get it, he's a big brave man who can do anything, but he also needs some affection now and then.

Embry - You know he wants attention when he starts distracting you while you're working. It will be little things at first, like asking you where he placed his phone or the remote, but then he'll kind of hover over you while you sit at the computer or just lean against your chair and play with your hair. You won't be able to get anything done, so you'll just have to push your chair away from your desk and spend some time with him until he's content.

Jacob - In public, it's just running his fingers over your arm or playfully tugging a piece of your hair. If you're alone, he'll make it blatantly obvious that he wants affection.

Quil - If he wants attention, you'll know. He'll make it very clear by just outright saying, "I need attention right now or I am going to die." He's so dramatic about it, but he's a guy who needs to know where he stands with you at all times, so it kind of makes sense.

Leah - Leah won't say anything outright, but she's the type to sigh loudly until you take the initiative. The sighs will get louder and louder until you finally turn to her and say, "you want to go get something to eat and watch a movie together or something?" and she'll be like, "ugh, I was busy but yeah, I guess." But secretly that was her plan all along.

Seth - He will get so!!! cuddly!!! You'll be sitting on the sofa and before you even realize it, he'll have snuck up next to you and put your head in his lap. Run your fingers through his short hair and you'll have him eating out of the palm of your hand basically.

anyway,

as i said, paul is the type of husband who will see a flower on the side of the road when coming home from patrol or the store or something and he will pick it bc he knows you like flowers and he loves seeing you smile ( unless you dont like flowers or are allergic then disregard this )

he’s the type of husband you will open doors for you and give you an irritated look when you try to do it for yourself, if you try to do it for him he will be shocked

he will always give you a bite or a piece of whatever he’s eating unless it’s something you don’t like or something you’re allergic to

actually, i don’t think he’ll eat anything you’re allergic to bc he loves kisses

whenever he’s with you, he wants to hold your hand, hug you, kiss you, he just loves you okay

he’s working or patrolling for a considerable amount of the day bit he will still do whatever chores you don’t like doing

like if you hate doing the dishes, he’ll be the one to rinse them off and put them in the dishwasher

he does love to play pranks, but he never crosses the line with them bc he never wants to make you too mad or make you cry or smth from them

he does rethink his pranking when you start getting him back

he loves to imagine kids with you, if you want to have them

he would have videos of cute little families on his fyp that makes him think of you and just reminds him how much he loves you and how glad he is it have married you
