Leah, who'll sport a deeply convincing scowl, will wrench open the door, and though she'll be really very pissed, a tiny hint of a smile will peek through. He'll make some idiotic comment instead of a proper greeting, and it'll be enough to coax a real smile out of her, and just like that, the Bella Situation will be forgotten.

His answer is immediate, spilling from his lips before she can reconsider. “No. I’ve just . . . never done any of this before.”
She strokes his cheekbone with her thumb, soothing his racing heart with little more than a smile of the eye-crinkling variety, a smile that she only ever does for him. “How about I show you?”

I don't understand people who pity Leah. Like.. my friends! My beloveds! Twilight is just her beginning! This is her tragic background story! Also.. she's JUST entered her 20s AND she's a werewolf who might choose to live for centuries or even more. Her life has just started. Plus she's practically an infant to her supernatural life. Or a pup (really isn't the entire pack?). Also, she's literally the first of her kind which has massive implications for their entire tribe. OR maybe there's some deep hidden lore about female wolves that got buried through time and that our girl Leah may just discover. Her adventures haven't even begun yet. Twilight is mainly Bella's story who may end up as Leah's step-sister in the future. But for Leah? It is the journey of her loss.. the loss of her father, the loss of her best friend to Sam (but I'll always firmly believe that Emily and her will patch up), the loss of what she considers being a woman means and her struggle with gender as she's the first female wolf in history maybe. But by the end of Breaking Dawn, I really feel that it is also the beginning of her journey to healing. Leah gains a new best friend in Jacob, she is able to gain a deeper understanding of her wolf, she is part of a new pack where there's less mental stress for her and her family / packs avoided a war by the breadth of a hair. Yeah sure she's single, but how is that a bad thing? She's healing and that is so much more important. Let Leah learn to love herself and discover the world before throwing her into a new relationship. Let her go out and have fun. Let her find new packs, new supernatural creatures and become the fastest and strongest and the most feral killer AND protector in the whole world. Let her unleash herself on this world and fall in love with it before she falls for anyone else. Stop pitying her and feel excited for the new journeys that await her!
