I feel so sad when I see people saying, “I’ve been manifesting my desire for 4 years and it’s still not here!” And I just feel so bad for them because they weren’t actually manifesting, they were just hoping for a change. you know that.... Thing where people are way more harsh on shows that feature minorities in prominant roles and aren't as harsh on shows that don't have stuff like poc lgbtq+ featured in them? I'm seeing a lot of Earthspark negativity and I don't remember seeing nearly as much dislike for lukewarm stories in shows like TFP and Cyberverse which have outright problematic and DANGEROUS messages they send to kids on top of being very medicore and not well told stories....

its actually so sad how little attention mae gets nowadays. she was supergirl for over 200 issues! she was supergirl for years! and it just feels like shes been forgotten. her last appearance was the 30th anniversary death of superman issue and that was in the background of a variant/pinup.

#nobody in universe or out has mentioned her in years shes been completely left behind #i dont want to sound like a hater but even in fandom ppl r more likely to know chris kent who appeared in 50 some issues (about a quarter of #maes appearances) and was a character for about half the time #and outside fandom he got involved in postbflashpoint stuff (tho ive hesrd it wasnt great) not hating on chris or his fans its just smth ive #noticed #mae #mae kent #matrix supergirl #dc #mypost
