A Whumper who had tortured Whumpee, but Whumpee was rescued/had escaped.

Whumper was enjoying their time alone when they get a message on their phone. They checked their messages, only for their heart to stop.

There was a picture of Whumper's Loved One. They were tied to a chair, beaten and bloodied. There were tears in their eyes, and they were looking at the camera in fear.

Under the picture was a message:

sleepless night

The most harrowing thing I have ever went through in my whole life is enduring two sleepless days due to depression. It was exhausting and debilitating. I tried to survive through each day with every strength i could muster. It was a hectic week where I had this assignment piling up my desk and at the most perfect time i faced my biggest heartbreak as my loved one left me for another person. Every day felt like a catastrophe, disastrous and indescribable pain. The relentless cycle of overthinking kept me awake at night for two days, fearing the thought of waking up one day with no one by my side.

We take those meals made

With love for granted.  For

Me it’s fried pork chops with

Grease sizzling made by mom  

And homemade mashed potatoes crafted

By grandma with dessert being rice pudding

Also made by grandma, but that course is

Restricted to holidays yet whether it’s a full  

Course meal with all the sides making your

Tongue ready to dive in and savor each

Bite like you’re eating from a restaurant

That’s going to close today or a brand new

Food creation that you might be nervous to

Try, but it was made by a loved one and even

If the result was off the mark, the memory it

Will create will last longer in your head than any

Takeout order. It’s those meals we remember when

It seems like every block we build lately has been crumbling

Into Lego pieces, when a sliver of doubt enters your

Carefully guarded mindset threatening to send you

Back to scattered thoughts, when everything you’re

Used to seeing is no longer part of your daily life because

Of a move, or when life gets so complicated you need a

Whiteboard as big as a movie poster to spell it all out and

You missed when it was as simple as coming down the stairs

For dinner. I’m grateful to still have those meals once in a while,

But know the next one down the line is not guaranteed so if

You still get those meals in your life, cherish it and thank the

Person behind it.
