Tried to fix up the wonky anatomy on the Cherish cover. Adjusted the size of her torso and head, tried to fix the shoulder and knee, put straps on the shirt so it wouldn’t immediately fall down, and gave her pants instead of thigh-high socks that seem to be held up by her underwear alone.
CHERISH HAS ESCAPED FROM THE POD
What will she do
Commission for @skitterstan of a post-Gold-Morning wasteland warrior cyborg Butcher-Cherish. Thanks a lot- this one was a blast.
I have just received your letters from Monday and Tuesday. Yes; my darling, this patience is exhausting, and I imagine and understand so well your jolts, your suffocations, and the immense silence that hovers around you and in your efforts towards a being whom you love and cherish. Thank you, my darling - thank you for giving me so generously your heart and this part of life that would be forbidden to me if our love were not absolute. You may. Jela understands and I also love her in a slightly shaky way and with all my delicacy. Patience. Courage. Soon there will be no more snow on the roses and the sun will soften this continual struggle. As for the rest, I don't know. No matter how much I turn and turn the problem, I can't see anything. But, for the moment, don't dwell on it. Forget everything, let yourself go. Forget about me as much as you can. Be as happy as you can. Work and do whatever you feel you can do. I'll always be close to you. See you tonight, my dear love.

Shatterbird's test for Cherish of forcing her to stay awake for days constantly running away from a slowly approaching glass shard is more than just a test in my opinion. Shatterbird was likely on the run constantly after destroying the United Arab Emirates, unable to rest or stand still without being found by people pursuing her whether it be for revenge or a bounty. I think she saw Cherish, someone who chose the life of killing that she was forced into and willingly joined the nine as an injustice. She was forced into this life, never had a choice but to be a monster or die from the moment she got her powers, and here's some stupid brat who wants to be like this willingly? The shard chased Cherish unceasingly, denying her rest or recuperation, because Shatterbird wanted Cherish to feel what it's like to be forced into that kind of life, to be on the run unable to stop at risk of death, to go through a fraction of what she went through, because even if she's been a monster for a while now she still resents how she was forced into it.
Sultry words stimulate the mind while expert techniques stimulate the body. But if you want a woman to really open up her desires, she needs trust. Trust stimulates her soul. Earn it, and the rest will flow naturally.
