I have a feeling Memories there won't be much Jikook. Last year it was given there would be cause they were constantly glued together throughout 2020, but all of 2021 Jikook were a hot mess. They stopped car sharing, we saw a decrease in activity even in the latest content. Seasons Greetings, in concerts, not til the end of 2021 concerts did we get any kind of Jikooking. So I have a feeling this year memories will be the year we see Jikook the most distant then we ever have in official content.

I don’t know what you were watching in 2021, Anon, but I it was not the same thing I saw. Either that or you just weren’t paying attention. 

That being said, it’s not a bad idea to tamp down one’s expectations. The key word being EXPECTATION. Why put that much pressure on yourself? 

And do we even know if we will get a Memories 2021? Has anyone heard if the content has been submitted for whatever it is they have to submit to?

We know what all is happening in the real world that may or may not influence what they want to portray to the general public...so again...tamping down your expectations is not a bad thing at all. As far as actually them being/becoming distant? That ain’t happenin’. Trust them. 

**This is the debate I got into with myself about buying the SOWOOZOO content... should I buy the digital code where I can watch the highest quality on my 4K screen but not be able to screen cap or grab any of the video for gifs... or should I buy the DVD and perhaps lose some image quality but be able to do whatever I want with the footage? ... ... ... but it seems like they are going in the direction of online only content, however, some people just do not have the internet connection to watch high resolution video...I guess we’ll see what they do in the future.

People love accountability until they have to hold themselves accountable too. Or God forbid someone else holds them accountable.

And people get so weird about it. They'll twist whatever they can to make themselves feel less attacked. They'll stalk someone's social media for a sniff of unhinged behavior. Or for someone to hold themself accountable and admit to having flaws. They'll project the concept of fake woke on this person because they'll be convinced they're trying to seem impressive when really they're just practicing what they preach. Because the only time they'd try holding themselves accountable is because they want to be impressive.

But go on their social media and it's all "I'm perfect and better than everyone, nobody could replace me". And admitting to being a bitch, a mean person, etc, but bragging about it. Bragging about how spoiled they are because of their uwu excuses that makes them hurt other people.

But calls everyone else fake woke. Says that everyone else is doing it to feel superior. That everyone is on their high horse than them and that makes them better in the long run because they just don't have time to be a hater... as they continue being friends with the "fakes" to keep talking mad shit behind their back for every new vulnerable post they make, and forcing the concept of accountability on the ones that have been practicing what they preach since day one. While retaining a smug attitude and still not actually learning anything about even admitting to being an asshole that isn't "hahaha hahaha omg guess what I did and what x person did in response lololol".

Everybody "loves " accountability- while they break down the credibility of those that actually make that a part of how they function. I get that you can't do it for yourself so you have to tear down everyone else as an insecurity tactic, but... practice what you preach and learn some accountability. You could learn from people who can admit they can acknowledge and learn from their shit and still hold other people to the same standards they put on themself.

Laughing at your shittiness or being uwu cute about it, defending it from being called out or else you'll label them as fake, and then yelling at people for the same type of flaws is peak fake. Unlearn it.

Gideon would not be some suave fuckboy picking up chicks like skittles and somehow having Harrow as the person that settles her--Gideon has been starving for home and belonging since before she was born, Gideon doesn't know how to interact with strangers even if she barks out something aggressive or recites some line she's read, Gideon nearly blacks out when a girl she finds pretty implies the most minuscule of interest in her.

Gideon is also, without question, submissive when it comes to her relationships, and while she spits like a startled cat at Harrow (rightfully so, I will point out, as their relationship before Canaan House was violent and cruel and oppressive), she responds immediately and desperately to even the faintest taste of approval.

Even when we're in her head, even when we see her make some brazen statement or thought, even when she lashes out and tries to be bigger and bolder than she feels, we still see how awkward she is. She's an unsocialized teenager without peers. She's an absolute mess with no experience. She's the isolated teen who learned everything from material marked as too explicit for her a bit too young and took the scripts of them and then nearly choked on the reality of talking to a pretty girl who wasn't beating the shit out of her in a circumstance she could rightfully resent.

She sat there wanting Harrow to kiss her so bad, Nona dipped down to offer her relief that fell hollow as soon as Gideon knew it wasn't from her morbid mistress of bones. Happy tdov to fat trans people. 🏳️‍⚧️ Biggest thing that helped me as a trans kid was seeing older fat trans people. There were a lot of really irritating "advice" posts going around early in my time on the internet with a lot of misinformation in them, but one that I constantly saw (in addition to people claiming you should wear your pants rediculously low or only wear button ups) were posts saying you had to lose weight to transition. Can confidently confirm that is completely untrue. 👍
