my friend and i were going to study a language together and wound up having to cancel our plans due to scheduling pressures, but! through research we came across a really cool resource for reading in a TON of languages: bloom library!

as you can see, it has a lot of books for languages that are usually a bit harder to find materials for—we were going to use it for kyrgyz, for example, which has over 1000 books, which was really hard to find textbook materials for otherwise. as you can see it also has books with audio options, which would be really useful for pronunciation checking. as far as i can tell, everything on the site is free as well.

elevator pitch: time travel student winds up in the wrong time period and solves mysteries while falling in love! summary: yu xiyan applies to a temporal studies programme to go to 1855 and study the government treatment of muslim minorities................but something goes wrong with the tech! now, stuck in 1604 until the end of her study period when she'll be automatically returned to the future, she has to figure out a way to support herself—and winds up starting a detective agency along with ma yitan, the first person to help her in this new time. the last thing she expects is to get involved with the government—or, more precisely, the eastern depot, the intelligence agency controlled by the eunuch nie sangliang.......or is he? as it turns out, yu xiyan isn't the only one hiding her identity in this time, and the last thing she expects is for the former princess to trick her into taking her along with her to the future!

I JUST FINISHED THE DLC THAT THE EPILOGUE IS ALREADY OUT ?!?!? AAAAAAAAH I DONT CARE I HAVE FINALS NEXT WEEK I'M SO EMOTIONFULL !!!!

Kieran's character developement was delicious, kicking his ass with ogerpon was nice, but seeing warm up again, throw a masterball AND THE SUNRISE SCENE OMG. Also Carmine doesn't get enough recognition, her character devellopement was more subtle but oh so good too !

Sooo.... i went ahead and updated my in game look for the newest pokemon DLC using the new uniform + accessory options.

And you know in game it makes sense. My character is from Paldea and so when spending time at an Unovan school they want to dress to fit in!

Which wouldn't be a problem until you realize UNOVA IS EQUIVALENT TO POKEMON AMERICA AND I SHOWED UP DRESSED LIKE THIS:

that indigo is very untouched

my man is perfectly normal after the fight until he realizes the vials are gone

he panics

right after running into fresh those eyes look a whole lot more drained, because he’s all angry that he’s being delayed in getting his stuff back. it’s all he cares about after all. i dare to bet that as his body demands more emotions it drains him faster. if that’s not what’s happening here i think there’s much more of a placebo effect going on then we thought. (”no my vialssss” yeah suck it up babe you’re fine, you were fine a second ago)

fresh keeps hold of indigo cause it’s the only full one so he’d think it’s either worth more to ink or something of the sort (pretty sure he just doesn't wanna touch it but go off king)

he gives it back after he corners him so ink can have all he needs when fresh controls him

and it stays untouched after drinking every other color up instantly until

he throws it away.
