Bits and Pieces of wot 2x7
Yes, I am continuing to have more thoughts about this episode! Only show spoilers in this post!
The first time Rand gets shielded and forced away by Siuan, it puts him down on both knees. The second time, at the Waygate, he goes down to one knee and braces himself. Minor but I liked it, because it lets Moiraine and Siuan still have their confrontation but it also shows that Rand is adjusting to the sensation and processing it. It's like this time, he's keeping himself ready for the shield to be removed, part of him remembering what Moiraine had said about this feeling being temporary.
In general, the body language that is being used when Rand is shielded is fascinating. You can really see how much it's affecting Rand to be cut off from the One Power -- and Rand never would have guessed that it could possibly affect him this much, I suspect. We even see him reacting to the feeling of the shield being transferred from Leane to Verin. The second it goes away, the impact is instant once he can feel the One Power again.
I also really love the way he concentrates so hard on trying to be delicate when he's cutting the tied-up weave on Moiraine, because we can see how massive and indelicate his power is at the moment and he's focusing so much on being careful. This really was such an amazing bonding moment for Moiraine, Rand, and Lan.
I am also fascinated by how Moiraine's unwillingness to share information with the people she loves most has accidentally given them a harsher view of Rand than if she'd been honest with them. BOTH Lan and Siuan judge Rand for not 'doing his duty' because Moiraine did not tell either of them that Rand believed that he already had. Rand thought living low and staying away from the people he loved would protect them because he thought he'd already defeated the Dark One. He's been avoiding using the One Power because he thought he didn't need it anymore to face the Dark One and he didn't want to accelerate the process of going mad and hurting other people.
(and Rand doesn't correct them because he feels guilty and probably feels like he should have known that TDO wasn't really gone)
Lanfear making such a public show of striding through the Foregate and causing mayhem and destruction, knowing that the Amyrlin will realize that this destruction was meant as a distraction to help free Rand -- and then she got the unexpected boon of actually get to talk to Rand in front of said Amyrlin. But it all feels like a big ol' "The Shadow already owns the Dragon" message being deliberately sent to the White Tower.
I've mentioned that Lanfear does a good job not doing anything 'too bad' when she's actually around Rand, but the show makes a point of having Rand notice the chaos and destruction that is happening out in the city when his jail break occurs.
I'm just going to make a note as to each Sister's position on The Dragon Situation, so that I'll have it down for the next time we return to this storyline (which I suspect will be in s3):
Team Cage:
Siuan -- she feels like Moiraine failed with Rand and, after this episode, she may feel that Moiraine failed with Rand deliberately, because she may believe that Moiraine and Lan are Darkfriends. She's seen both that the Dragon doesn't have any control over his powers and that he is willing to make deals with the Forsaken.
Leane -- she seemed completely disgusted with Moiraine in the prison cell scenes, and doesn't seem thrilled with her at the start of the episode either.
Since Leane doesn't seem shocked at someone else showing up to take Rand's shield at the end of the episode, that implies that the rest of the Aes Sedai with Siuan may have been briefed on the situation after Siuan decided to pull the trigger on Plan B.
And the rest of the Aes Sedai who were on the wall to link with Siuan and put out the fire in the Foregate -- fires caused when one of the Forsaken came to help break Rand out of prison. That probably doesn't bode well for them to think kindly of Rand.
We don't have names for most of these Aes Sedai, but I saw Joiya from 2x1 there. I did not see Yacissa on the wall with Siuan. There are 8 sisters with Siuan on the wall. There were 16 total in Cairhien (who weren't Moiraine) -- 2 per Ajah plus Siuan and Leane. So that's eight who are not currently here -- this includes Liandrin, Verin, and Alanna and we know what they went off to do. Yacissa and four other Sisters are not currently accounted.
Team Dragon:
Moiraine -- I mean, we know her position. She's been extremely clear this season. "Protecting Rand, guiding him, is the only thing that matters." She has been willing to burn down everything else in her life to try to protect and guide Rand.
Verin -- almost certainly openly known to be in collaboration with Moiraine at this point; she misleads Leane into handing over Rand's shield and then Rand escapes with Moiraine. I would not recommend she stay in Cairhien or return to Tar Valon.
Alanna -- covertly helps Lan; Siuan may or may not have learned about the fact that she is Team Dragon. Does not have an opinion on Rand himself.
Team Shadow:
Liandrin -- her affiliations may or may not be revealed, depending on what Anvaere or Barthanes might report. She didn't use her name while she was in the Damodred manor but a brief description could probably pinpoint which Aes Sedai gave Barthanes his orders.

Winterbaron Thunderbolts blurb
Zemo has spent a lot of time reflecting his feelings for Bucky. when he first learned about the Winter Soldier, Hydra's most formidable secret weapon, he was stuck between disgusted by what's been done to him and general apathy. brainwashed or not, Bucky used his superhuman skills to kill many many people. But after their little adventure, he realizes Bucky isn't that. he isn't one of THEM, Avengers or Nazis alike.
Zemo's grown not just sympathetic but also fond of Bucky as partners in crime. That makes him uncomfortable. He spent YEARS resenting superheroes, hunting them, killing them, killing that sense of superiority they so casually project. But here he is, working with Bucky again, and can't keep his eyes off him.
Bucky is a natural leader, he takes care of his team even tho his contempt for certain people (including himself) is palpable, a brilliant strategist and even a better fighter, he is competent and...attractive.
Zemo tries to play his little mind game but Bucky isn't at all receptive. but that's ok, hatred is a strong enough emotion that may very well carry over to his ultimate demise. bucky won't be able to forget him that easily. Zemo isnt trying to be a 'hero', sacrificing himself for this assorted bunch, he just isn't trying so hard to stay alive.
Bucky notices that, from experience perhaps. Bucky keeps an eye on him in battle. in the middle of a shootout, Bucky drags him to security and shouts at him, 'stop letting your death wish get in the way!' or something like that.
'I'm touched, James, caring the life of someone like me.'
'I don't care if you're dead.'Bucky says as he takes out a guy by calculating the ricochet trajectory on the fly. 'you are just in my way.'
that's probably true. Zemo shrugs, sitting on the ground, fully confident that Bucky can handle the situation for both of them. 'I've been thinking...'
'shoot first, think later, socrates.'
'I've been thinking.' Zemo shoots somewhere blindly and keeps talking, 'we'd make great pair.'
Bucky stares at him as if he's grown another head. or lost the only one he had.
'you see, James, no one knows you better than I do, I'm perhaps the only one who GETS why you are the way you are. And you know me, sort of. we've come to a truce, the past is in the past...'
'I don't share your kinship, Zemo. Now be useful!'
so he makes himself useful, tho he is still talking. talking, yeah, but without referring to the most painfully obvious and unsettling fact. 'what I'm suggesting is mutually beneficial. I have connections and information you need, and you have one less bad guy to worry about.'
'I don't have to worry about you if you're in prison.'
'but I'm not there, am I?'
as the mission progress, Zemo offers help, shuts John up when necessary (Bucky smirks when he does that), and stays close to Bucky. yelena isn't blind, but she thinks Zemo has external motive and gives him the shovel talk.
'that's lovely. now, do you think James would prefer a new modified gun or customed knife? I know he is partial to the SiG but I see room for improvement. you know what, I'll get both. thank you for indulging me, Yelena.'
yelena: ok gay🙄
more fighting ensued, Bucky eventually uses the knife Zemo got him. some part of Bucky just breaks, that line that's been constantly pushed by Zemo is broken at that moment in a sense that Bucky acknowledges Zemo being in his tiny circle of 'allies' is already a truth. Zemo has been his ally longer than he's willing to admit. Bucky wants to believe they are different that's why he pushes Zemo away, only then does he realize accepting Zemo doesn't mean they're the same, it's just that they are compatible in certain situations. and Zemo is not exactly unpleasant to be around, sometimes.
after the mission, yelena suggests they go for a drink, Zemo suggests they go to that fancy place none of them would otherwise be allowed in. It's classy and degenerate at the same time.
while others disappear into the dance floor, Zemo sits down next to Bucky and asks if he could buy him a drink.
'will you back off if I said no?'
'I'm hurt, James. after all this time, you should know I don't take pleasure in forcing people into things they don't want.'
Bucky kinda laughs and lets Zemo buy him a fancy whisky. 'what do you want, Zemo?'
'I already told you what I want. partnership.'
Bucky downs the alcohol in one go and glances at him. 'is that all?'
Zemo is frankly surprised by Bucky's response but who is he to pass the opportunity? 'I usually go on a date or two before moving on to other things, but I suppose I can make an exception.'
and things get a little heated from there.

PLEASE share more thoughts on tavtash because I am OBSESSED with some of your little ideas… like how would the camp react?? especially if tav is good aligned?? how would this work for the ending?? SO MANY POSSIBILITIES FOR ANGST
i might've just woken up moments ago, but i am here. i am awake. i am going to talk about tavtash.
in my mind, most of the camp is willing to give tav the benefit of the doubt after everything they've done. karlach is more than willing to stand by with a watchful eye, though it hurts her to see tav get closer to the monster who handed her to zariel. in my opinion, it's hardest for wyll, considering both the fact that gortash was part of his father's tadpoling (is that what we're calling it?) and is also holding him prisoner, but tav has shown themselves to be of excellent character, right? so, he stands by them, thinking that it's a ploy, that tav is playing a lanceboard game all on their own. and for some tavs, maybe that's even true. maybe they're siding with gortash because they aren't sure if they can control all of the netherstones on their own, and gortash seems more stable than orin. their companions don't look at them and go, "this is someone who is susceptible to a man like gortash's manipulation," and so they wait. they listen. they do what they can, all while tav is getting closer and closer to him. i feel like both wyll and karlach would leave if they found out that the alliance with gortash was anything more than simple strategy. it's obvious that they were mistaken about them and that they are on different paths. halsin would be disgusted by what gortash was capable of and willing to do to sentient beings, but he's not... wholly invested in keeping baldur's gate afloat and can still help in the ways that he wants badly to help. shadowheart is hesitant, but in the end, she sees tav as her closest friend and wouldn't abandon them, not after they helped her reunite with her parents. with lae'zel, it fully depends upon the path you've taken for her. i can see it going either way. either she abandons you at the end or she sticks by the side of the person who opened her eyes to the truth of her brainwashing. astarion doesn't care. at that point, tav has helped him so much that he'd stand by their side regardless of where they were going. and gale? gale's just like, "alright," because guess who has no fucking say in who someone is in a romantic relationship with. it's gale. and THE ENDING. i'm the ceo of weenie hut jr, so i like to imagine both rosalind and ismay have gortash just in check enough to keep him from stepping in and getting fucking zapped, but god. the delicious angst when that does not happen for other tavs. when they realize that they lost their friends and sullied their morals for something that would never happen, for a love lost because of gortash's... sudden inexplicable lack of patience? GUTTING.
also i am SO SORRY that this got so fucking long, i just have thoughts. and feelings. and i love gortash, but i also deeply love tav.

Better Than Expected
Chapter 15
WARNING: Brief mentioning of miscarriage
The movement of the warriors caused by the capture of an unusual prisoner caught the attention of the leader of the Ashe People and, without delay, she went to the place where the prisoner was being kept. The surprise between the two was mutual, however, Varang tried to leave it behind, assuming her chief posture and taking charge of the situation.
The boy was clearly startled by her detached gaze, however, he quickly adopted a rebellious and impulsive posture, willing even to expose his teeth in a snarl. Seeing that the leader was clearly pregnant shouldn't have impressed him that much, as it wasn't the first time he'd seen something like this.
For a brief moment, Varang's memories took her back to the images she had seen of the boy through Miles's mind. Knowing exactly who he was, she decided how to deal with him.
-Let him go, I'll deal with him - she ordered and her soldiers obeyed her.
Even confused and scared, Spider followed her, not letting his guard down.
Along the way, a series of things crossed her mind, whether it would be better to tell Miles that the boy was there, or tell Spider himself that she already knew him, in a way, and that she was his stepmother.
However, Varang didn't have much choice when Miles was already in their hut.
-I hope that… - he was saying when he realized who was accompanying her - it can't be…
-Quaritch! - Spider exclaimed, in a mixture of anger, fear and defensiveness, it quickly crossed his mind that it would be stupid to face him, confront him or try to run away.
-How did you get here? What happened? - Miles approached him, clearly worried.
-Do you care about that? - the boy opted for the defensive attitude, even crossing his arms, completely mad and impatient.
-It's not a good choice to play this game - his father advised, gladly - it's okay, I can give you some time, sit down and calm down.
-Can I do that here? Am I not your prisoner? - he snapped.
-Let's say you're in our custody - Varang decided to intervene, thinking it was a good time for it - I'm Varang, leader of the ash clan.
-With all due respect ma'am, are you protecting me because of him? - Spider replied, his tone much more cautious this time.
-In part yes, but in another part, because I know you, Miles Socorro - Varang addressed him, risking a few steps closer - or should I say, Spider.
-Did he tell you about me? - curiosity ended up instigating the boy.
-Ah yes, but only after we shared our mental visions - she clarified - that's where I first saw you, in your father's memories.
-Why would they share their memories? - Upon hearing that, he made a typical teenage face of disgust.
-You have many questions, boy, but I have many others, as it is in our house, I would like you to answer - Miles imposed, standing in front of Spider in an intimidating way.
-Calm down, my beloved, treat the boy with more patience - Varang touched his shoulder, making him step back a little.
From the affectionate way she called Quaritch, Spider really gave up on all questions.
-What were you doing when you were captured by my warriors? - Varang questioned him again, in a much kinder and smoother tone.
"I was on patrol with the Metakayina, I got lost from the rest of the group, trying to find another route," he muttered, against his will.
-Okay, that's enough answers for me - she was satisfied with his statement - I can find my own ways to find out more, if I need to, and speaking of needing, I believe you need some time, Spider. Feel free to be my guest, not my prisoner.
With a suspicious smile, Varang left them alone and, despite Miles' frustration, he realized right away what she wanted. A frank and necessary conversation between the two. Being honest with himself, Miles knew this was what he needed too. So he took a deep breath and decided to move on.
-How did you get that? -Spider dared to ask, before his father could formulate any sentence.
-What are you referring to? Me surviving without you or marrying the chief of the tribe? - Miles countered, a little less bitter.
-Both - the boy replied.
-Varang - his father said simply - the warriors found me and took me to her, she had a vague idea of what I was, thought I would be a good ally in this conflict between the na'vi, so she secured the alliance with a proposal wedding.
-And you took advantage of the situation - Spider laughed sarcastically.
-I accepted it to save my life, in the beginning, but believe it or not, I fell in love with her, I really love her - declared the oldest, undoing his emotional ties little by little, getting to sit on the floor and stay more than Spider's height.
There was something different and sincere in Miles' statement, which for a single instant, almost moved the boy.
"And so you've been living like a native ever since," he found out - the life you so despised.
-I know, I'm guilty of all this, but I think I've been punished enough - Miles raised his hands in surrender - I died twice, and lost a son.
-I'm here, aren't I? - Spider extended his arms, in a position of clear attack.
-No, I'm not talking about you - he shook his head, feeling a little confused - I mean, I lost you somehow, I wasted the time we had together, I threw it all away for a cause that today I consider lost and meaningless to me, but it wasn't you I remembered when I said that.
-So what are you talking about? - the boy became more attentive, sensitive to what was to come.
-Varang lost a child before, it was my child too, your… sibling who couldn't be born - his father explained - I believe that was enough punishment from Eywa, because I deserved it.
-It means that… the child that Varang is expecting is yours - Spider confirmed.
-That's right, it's your sibliing - Miles nodded.
"I'm so sorry for your loss," he said, understanding the grief.
-Thank you, but I thank you even more for listening - his father replied - you know, I… I told Varang once that if I had another opportunity to be a good father to you I would be, I wouldn't waste it, but I know this one choice is yours. If you want to stay here, you can have a home, you can have a family…although I know you have a family with the Sullys.
-Things weren't always so easy with the Sullys, mostly because of you - the boy commented, showing a little more of his hurt.
-I understand, the me of the past and the me of this body did a lot of harm to many people, but believe me, I have changed and I am willing to fix things with you, really - Miles declared, with regret.
Once again, Spider found himself moved by the former colonel's plight. The only remnant of his former self he could recognize now was the look of tenderness when he called him son, when Spider decided to abandon him. The way Varang had treated him and the whole story, as absurd as it seemed, given the evidence before his eyes, it all seemed to fit together and make some sense in Spider's mind.
-I'll have to think about your case - decided the boy, with a lot to consider.
-It's better than a definitive no, or a middle finger - Miles opined.
The comment elicited a spontaneous laugh from Spider, which seemed like a sign of hope for his father.

What would change in the final act of CACW if Vision shot down Tony instead of Rhodey? Personally, the way I see it, if this had been the case, Rhodey, Natasha and Vision would've gone to the Raft to try to get info from Team Cap about where Steve and Bucky went. Upon getting there, they'd be appalled and disgusted by the human rights violating conditions Ross is holding them in (Wanda especially; Vision would certainly protest, "You're not allowed to restrain her like that, it's illegal!" to Ross about that). So they elect to free Sam, Clint, Scott and Wanda, the seven of them travel to Siberia, and help Steve and Bucky capture Zemo.
If Tony takes the hit instead of Rhodey then that's a huge loss for the Pro-Accords leadership. Ross was livid after the failure in the Airport battle, even threatening to jail Tony over it. Without Tony's leadership and pushy charisma, I'm not sure Ross would even be willing to let the operation continue.
But assuming he is willing to let someone else take the lead and interrogate the prisoners in Tony's place, it wouldn't be all three of them. Chain of command. It'd just be Rhodey. T'Challa told Ross about Nat's betrayal so she's in the wind, and a man like Ross wouldn't respect Vision's personhood enough to let him be in charge of the Avengers when a perfectly good, loyal, and devoted soldier like Rhodey is standing right there.
But Rhodey isn't half the maverick that Tony is. He probably isn't going to freak out and start gunning down the Raft to break everyone out or something, like you described. If given this chance, he'd play things about the same way as Tony except without compromising the security systems in order to create a window to talk to Sam as a friend.
So Rhodey gets the, "Hello, Officer," treatment and leaves empty-handed. And since T'Challa only made it to Siberia by tracking Tony's plane, nobody makes it to Siberia to intercept Steve and Bucky.
What that means in the long run is that Zemo gets his footage of Tony's parents being murdered but doesn't have a convenient opportunity to use it immediately. So he just... Escapes. With the footage. To devise his next scheme of when, where, and how to use it.
Everything past that point is basically Brand New AU Story.

Book #127 - The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
(first time read; full spoilers, but also, why would you waste your precious Earth time on this book)
On the one side... The body hopping time loop could have been really interesting. It really could. A nice, tight murder mystery (which, the murder was a bit convoluted and relied a little to much on "oh, this person is just evil, has always been evil, how did you not guess that this kid (that was murdered nineteen years ago) was killed by a ten-year old in a weirdly elaborate murder plan for a ten-year old to develop", but once it actually got going (which... two thirds of the way through is no time to kickstart your plot) it was fine? Even interesting at times? Shame I had to wait for Aiden to bodysnatch a cop for it, but at that point, I was willing to just take what I could get).
And on the other side of things... The mindwipe time loop murder solving prison thing could have been so cool, too? There is a cyberpunk takedown of the prison industrial complex waiting inside this book and I am so frustrated that it barely gets any attention at all??? Like. Either commit to this bonkers insane idea and fucking say someting with it, or do your Agatha Christie imitation and don't bother with world building. Why would you want to do both?
... And on the third side, this is literally all I can to say about this book without sounding off the walls insane. I tried. In conversations with friends, I really tried. But I couldn't do it.
What the fuck was going on with Anna? Was she a terrorist? A supervillain? What the fuck do you mean, she tortured the sister and made the world watch? Did she livestream it? How did no one manage to arrest her during that? What the fuck is going on?
Also, why would you completely kill your own point like this? Yes, Blackheath is horrible and bad and torture and cannot produce anything good. But also, Anna and Aiden are defenitely 100% better people now, and get a nice redemption sticker and a new life. Are you kidding me? Or are you mad? Why are they friends, how did any of this happen, why is she constantly kissing him, is this a joke?? Are you taking the piss? Or is this book just a stupid prank, like the literary equivalent of 52 pick-up? How can something so boring leave so many questions unanswered. I am very sure that Gold says "ah yes, I prepared this and this off-page" multiple times in the end and I just yelled "bitch, when" every time, because... ??????
Also, Aiden was one of the mosty hypocritical, holier-than-thou, self-absorbed assholes I ever had the displeasure of inhabiting the mind of (yes, I know, ironic given what I'm going to complain about but still). He could not stop nagging his hosts for completely human behaviour and feelings and bodies. To be honest, I had dnfed this book a few years back, because I had gotten to Day Four and Aiden was just relentless in fat-shaming Ravencourt, spending literal pages on how disgusted with him he was, and I just couldn't do it. I picked it up again now in the vain hope that maybe at least the murder was good, once the book would finally get to it, but by the time it did it the tension was so used to eating ground dirt that it just kinda stayed there - flat at zero for the rest of the book.
Also, any book where you learn the protagonist's name either 120 pages in, or from the blurb on the back, deserves to be thrown into a time machine to assemble back into a tiny tree and some printer toner, for the crime of annoying the shit out of me.
In summary: no tension, every plottwist until about pg 350 delivers itself as an anticlimax, the world building sucked, the characters sucked, Aiden especially I want to throw into a woodchipper, and The Plague Doctor may at some point have sounded like a good idea, but his anachronism (this book is set in... the 1920s?? maybe??) and his "cryptic overseer, but make him cringefail" vibe just killed the tone stone dead any time he appeared.
Just read Christie.

Can we talk about Thornton's proposal scene in North and South?
It begins with Thornton's anticipation of the proposal, and how this man we have known to be so self possessed is: A) afraid of himself B) very anxious C) trembling D) trying to delude himself with the picture of perfect understanding and acceptance of his proposal.
"she looked like some prisoner, falsely accused of a crime that she loathed and despised, and from which she was too indignant to justify herself."
This line is both funny and clever because the exact crime is not explicit. Was it throwing herself to him? was it loving him? in any case her being indignant past stillness is such a contrast with his commotion past trepidation... and they are face to face now.
As soon as he's actually standing in front of her, the fragile illusion starts to crack. He feels his proposal will disturb her quiet and perhaps repel her. But they are both then and there and they know it is coming and inevitable. THE TENSION.
And then the summary of the conversation goes like this:
T: I want to thank you for...
M: I won't have your thanks, you are not special, I apologize for telling you to go face the riot, though.
T: You were right and that is why I went, so apology NOT accepted, and also you won't distract me with this from thanking you for...
M: No, I'm not distracting you, there is literally NOTHING to thank me for, and your thanks cause me pain. But if this is about your ego, then by all means, proceed, if your ego is more important than my feelings.
T: This is not about my ego! This is about gratitude!
M: *shakes with rage*
T: Now I can love you and live my life thinking I owe it to you! And that makes it all twice as better and intense!
T: *takes her hand*
M, glacial: this is shocking, I have never been more insulted in my entire life, and the way you say it is disgusting, also keep it down, my mom is sleeping.
T: What? I have the worst luck ever
M, blood rushing to her head: Yes, you offend me! You think I did that for you and want to impose it on me by thanking me. If you were a good person you would know that you are not special.
T: So I have to shove my thanks...? I have feelings too!
M: I'm not denying your feelings, I just don't like to hear them. *starts crying with rage* you are the last person on earth for whom I would do it, you just happened to be there.
T: Ah, yes, those friends of yours you prefer. You pitied me, then, and you despise me. But you despise me because you don't know me.
M, grabbing the table: I don't care to, I don't want to try.
T: yeah, I see, you are unfair and unjust.
Also T: *would still beg for her love, is about to literally cry, waits eagerly for her to even taunt him*
M:
T, taking his hat: you think my love makes you dirty somehow. But you are the only one I have ever loved. And I won't stop. Won't bother you with it either.
M: I'd like to see you dare try. Btw, you are good to my dad, so we shouldn't make each other angry.
T: *makes a Titanic effort to contain himself, it takes him half a minute to "clean" his hat with his sleeve, takes no leave of her, still manages to cry before he's out of the room.*
M: Did I overdo it? Nah, he should have seen it coming. Would do it all over again, anyways.
Thornton never even manages to truly, explicitly propose; he cannot even get her to accept a thank you. Margaret implicitly thinks she can be cruel to him because he "doesn't have feelings"; in a situation where socially all the advantage would be on Margaret's side, Thornton sees all the advantage as being on his side; wilful misunderstanding is the core of this proposal, and willing, sympathetic understanding the one at the end of the novel. Margaret's painful feelings about his thanks are really about being seen as a romantic prospect and as an adult woman rather than a young, almost girl woman; every bit of her rejection is unconsciously hitting Thornton in his inferiority complex, and reinforcing his preconceived ideas about how she thinks he's inferior to her, and his own concept of himself as her inferior.
And there is laid out the growth they have to undergo in order to end up together; it's all of it inner conflict and this is such good romance writing.

"Did you hear?" Your friend Erica squealed as she leaned over the front of your cubicle as you typed away for your new report.
"Hear what?" Asking without stopping as you quickly glanced up at her.
"That convicted killer Bradshaw requested to be interviewed." Now that information had your full attention.
"Bradley Bradshaw?" Squinting your eyes at her. "Convicted serial killer Bradley Bradshaw?"
"Yep." Popping the p as you leaned back in your chair. "Came out early this morning his attorney made a statement."
"He's been in prison for like five years that doesn't make sense why he wants to talk now." Crossing your arms across your chest as you slowly shook your head. "When does he want to do this interview?"
"Apparently he demanded it be done this afternoon."
"This afternoon?" Repeating her words with a shocked expression on your face. "You've got to be kidding."
"I know I couldn't believe what I heard either." Erica exclaimed with wide eyes.
"There's no way they would let that happen." Scoffing through your nose at the thought of them letting him get what he wants.
"I heard it's cause he's on death row." Now that made a little sense as to why he wanted to talk.
"Well yeah I would hope after brutally murdering over a dozen women he'd be put on death row."
"Maybe he wants to clear his conscious." She shrugged her shoulders.
"Who in the world would want to interview someone like him anyway?" Your voice dripping with disgust at the thought of being alone with someone like him anyway.
"Someone whose stupid and isn't afraid of anything." She joked as you both laughed.
"Well I'll tell you I wouldn't even come within a hundred yards of that man." Pointing your finger at her in a matter of fact. "They couldn't get me to do something like that."
"Me neither I would rather just shoot myself if I had to interview him."
"Y/L/N." Turning your head to see your boss standing in the door way of his office looking straight at you. "Can I talk to you in my office for a moment."
"Yes Mr.Seresin." Nodding his head as he turned back into his office.
"Someone's in trouble." Your friend teased with a singing voice as you rolled your eyes giving her the middle finger.
"If I'm in trouble I'm taking your ass down with me." You sneered at her standing up walking towards his office.
As you stood in the doorway knocking on the door he looked up from his paperwork motioning you to sit down. Shutting the door behind you as you took a seat patiently waiting for him to finish whatever he was doing. He rarely called you into his office like this usually he called you on the phone to talk.
"Im sure you've heard all about this Bradley Bradshaw prick." He started off as you nodded your head.
"Yeah I was just kept up to speed." Smacking your lips together.
"Then you've also heard he wants the person to do the interview to be a woman?" Staring straight at him as you wondered where he was going with this.
"I did not." Your stomach churning at the feeling of where this talk was going, and what you were probably going to be asked.
"Which is why I wanted to talk to you." Clearing his throat as you waited to hear those dreadful words. "I want you to do the interview."
"I hope this is some kind of prank." Blurting out loud as he clasped his hands together on the desk.
"You're one of my best journalists." He complimented you as you sat frozen. "You're the only person who could ace this interview."
"I don't know." Looking down at your lap as your nerves were all over the place.
"Besides you would be the only person to do this interview, and you could get your name out there." He really wasn't going to let this go, and he did have a point.
Doing this interview would mean getting your name plastered over news channels, and radios. Everyone would know who you are, and it could also mean a pay increase which didn't sound too bad. It just horrified you to no extent being in the same room with that man.
"Do I really have a choice." Not meaning to say that out loud, but to yourself.
"I have you scheduled to be there at four thirty." Ignoring your statement as he informed you of details.
"You already called them?" Exclaiming as you leaned forward in your chair. The little shit had already decided who was going to do this interview.
"Well yes I knew you'd be the woman for the job." Smiling widely as he complimented you again.
"Can I at least have someone else come with me?" Asking him with nothing but hope in your voice.
"No he requested that only one person be there." Begrudgingly shaking his head disappointment written across your face.
"Fine." Sighing loudly as you stood up facing the door.
"You'll be fine Y/N I promise." He tried making you feel better but all you could do was just nod your head.
Dragging your feet as you walked back to your cubicle. Erica was by your desk immediately staring into your soul waiting to hear everything. As you sat down slumping your body in the chair looking up at her. Silently telling her exactly what she was worried about.
"Shut the fuck up." Whispering as you just nodded your head. "He's making you do the interview."
"Yep at four thirty today." Wishing that you would have just called in sick or something today.
"Could someone at least go with you?"
"Nope I already asked apparently this guy doesn't want anybody else there."
"Damn." Snapping her fingers as she looked at you with sympathy. "Well thank goodness I'm not as good as a reporter as you."
"Yeah we all can't be so lucky as you." Voice fanning with sarcasm it made her giggle.
"Well bring your mace with you just in case."
"Probably not allowed to have any kind of weapons on me." Informing her as she pursed her lips looking away.
"Shit your right." She responded as you laughed at her failed attempt to help.
"But they can't take away my mean right hook." You joked holding your right hand up in a fist as Erica shook her head at you.
"I hate to break it to you Y/N but your hands are like marshmallows."
Giving her a pathetic chuckle you decided keeping busy until it was time to leave would be the best thing. Except it wasn't cause your mind was racing at the thought of being alone in a room with this man. Unable to stop thinking about what could happen to you there. Even lunch was horrible unable to stomach eating anything at that moment.
Looking at the clock what felt like every ten seconds. Watching at time got closer and closer to leaving. Wishing that you could just skip through time, and avoid doing this interview. Maybe you could play sick and your boss would assign someone else to do it. Mr. Seresin wasn't that stupid he'd know right away what you were trying to do.
Wondering to yourself if you should call family and friends to let them know where you are in case anything were to happen. Surely the place would be well guarded enough so nothing would happen to you.
Gathering your things you grabbed your tape recorder shoving it into your purse. Standing up you could see all kinds of looks from everyone. Guessing that word spread very quickly who was the unfortunate soul who had to do this interview.
Erica looking up at you giving you two thumbs up as you smiled at her. Heading out the front doors and to your car. Breathing through your mouth as you sat in your car for a minute to calm down. This wasn't how you expected you were going to spend the rest of your afternoon.
As you headed down the road you turned on some music hoping that would help put your mind at ease. Telling yourself that it wasn't Bradley Bradshaw you were going to interview but someone else. That helped at least a little bit easing your nerves.
You never really understood why your town lived pretty close to a maximum state prison, and why you lived in that town. You'd think something like that would scare people off, and not want to live there. The drive wasn't too bad and you found yourself almost calming down.
That dream faded though as soon as you pulled up to the large prison. Noting the tall fences that were lined with thick barbed wires, and towers on every corner with multiple armed guards patrolling the area. You've seen prisons before but this one looked scary and menacing.
"I have an interview with Bradley Bradshaw at four thirty." Handing the guard at the gate your ID and work badge. Watching as he scanned them through the system.
"Your gonna pull up to that parking lot over there and go through those double doors where you'll go through metal detectors." He informed you as he handed you your stuff back.
As you thanked him you couldn't help but notice the look of sympathy he gave you. Like he felt bad a woman like you had to be in the same room as a psychopath. Your palms were sweating now as you pulled into an empty spot. Heart felt like it was racing a million beats per second.
"Remove any jewelry you may have and put your purse or bag into the tray and step through the machine." A guard yelled when he saw you walk in looking around.
As you did what he asked you stepped through the detector, and watched your bag going down the conveyor belt. Once they figured you were clean you grabbed your bag, and looked around to see where you needed to go.
"Uh excuse me." Timidly asking a guard catching his attention. "I have an interview at four thirty with Bradley Bradshaw where do I need to go?"
"You'll want to talk to Mr. Simpson first and he'll tell you what to do from there. Go down that hall all the way to the end you'll see his name."
"Thank you." The guard nodding as you turned to where he pointed and walked down the hall.
Once you reached the end you saw his name in bold letter on the door. Knocking on the door you heard shuffling around before a loud voice telling you to come in. Opening the door just enough to step in to see a tall thin man sitting at his desk shuffling through paperwork.
"You must be my brave journalist." Greeting as he looked up at you.
"That would be me."
"I'm Beau Simpson I'm head of security here." Not knowing what to say you just nodded your head noticing all his certificates and medals he had.
"Well I must say I'm glad we were able to find someone so quickly to do this interview." Smiling widely as he stood up to walk towards you.
"Any chance to do a big story like this I'm in." Trying your best to sound excited and not disgusted.
"You know we've had a lot of journalist come in here, but I must say none of them have been as attractive like you."
"Thank you." Standing there awkwardly feeling slightly uncomfortable as his eyes were practically undressing you.
"There are a couple of rules that we have to go over." He coughed as he fiddled with a pen.
"Of course."
"Do not stand too close to the cell. Do not hand him anything or let him hand you anything. If he makes any threats you yell for us and we'll escort you out immediately." His manner and tone very serious. "Do you understand?"
"Yes sir I do." Nodding your head feeling a little lightheaded suddenly.
"Well let's get this thing over with shall we?" Leading you out of his office and back down the same hall.
"I trust you're not nervous?" He asked as you two stepped onto an elevator.
"Only a little."
"Well don't show it Bradley can sense the nervous ones." His words didn't make you feel better.
"We have him located on the maximum security floor." He continued as you walked down another hallway where you could hear loud voices coming from all around you.
"Why is that?" You asked as you tried to keep up with him.
"He attacked some guards a while back and almost killed them." Feeling your throat closing as you tried swallow the saliva pooling in your mouth.
"Why is he separated from everyone else?" Noticing there was no other cell doors down this hall.
"He doesn't do well with others." Was all he said as you two stopped in front of another gate guarded with some security a loud buzzing went off and the door opened.
"Has he ever gone through any psychiatric evaluation?" You hated to ask but you were curious.
"Many times." He responded. "They've all said the same thing."
"Which was?" You pressed his body language becoming rigid.
"That he was a lost cause." Not turning to face you as you continued to walk down a hall.
A couple security guards were standing there as they nodded there heads at you. This was becoming all too real now. This wasn't just some bad dream this was reality. You were literally just a few feet away from a very dangerous man, and anything could happen. There was no turning back at this point.
"This is where I leave you good luck." Patting your shoulder as him and the other guards walked through the gate.
“You’ll do just fine,” one of the guards whispered to you as he pointed to a camera, “we’ll be watching you the whole time.”
Giving him a courteous nod with a soft smile watching them as they left realizing that you were now alone. Slowly walking down the rest of the hall to the cell he was staying in. As you stood in front of the cell now you saw him laying on the bed his back leaned up against the wall. A book in his hand not bothering to even look up at you.
"You must be the beautiful Y/N." His words like ice as he said your name. The air was thick with tension and the room felt like you were in a sauna.
"How did you know my name?" Trying not to stutter as you talked.
"They informed me of your coming." Bradley placing his book down as he looked right at you.
"Well let's get this interview started shall we." Grabbing your tape recorder out as you grabbed a chair leaning against the wall pulling it to face the cell.
"Now Mr. Bradshaw what made you decide to do this interview?" Leaning the recorder closer to him.
"Please call me Bradley." He smiled at you as you bit back your tongue not wanting to anger him.
"Bradley." The name sounded like poison on your tongue. "What made you decide to do this interview?"
"Because I'm innocent." His words completely turn you for a spin. Not expecting him to say that.
"Your innocent?" Questioning him to further explain. "Are you saying you didn't kill these women?"
"I was framed by someone. Someone that I know very well." He continued as he stood up this time.
"And who is that someone?" Not believing him for one second.
"You don't believe me do you?" Ignoring your question sensing your doubt in his answer.
"It's kind of hard to believe you when your DNA was found all over the crime scene of these murders." Holding the scoff hanging in the back of your throat.
"Like I said I was framed." He repeated his words. "Someone planted my DNA on their bodies."
"Tell me who." You pushed but he just chuckled lightly.
"Does it really matter they've already convicted me, and they want to throw away the lock and key." He didn't sound sad or angry but more of accepting of his fate.
“Why didn’t you say anything during the trial?”
“The man kisses everyone asses there’s no way they would ever look into it.” The scary thing was he sounded so confident that someone did, and he was actually being framed.
"Did you know any of these women?" You continued.
"Yes I did." He nodded his head as he was standing right in front of the cell bars. "I went on dates with them."
"So women you went out with just whined up dead." You stated out loud to yourself. "Why do you think that is?"
"Because someone had it out for me and wanted me to pay."
"Seems a little extreme to butcher women all because they've got a problem with you." Squinting your eyes at him as you tried not to laugh at his response.
"People do crazy things when fueled by anger." He smiled at you as he sat back down on the bed.
"Several psychiatrists stated you deserve to be put to death." Crossing a leg over the other. "Do you agree with them."
"They were paid to lie." Shaking his head as his fists clenched in his lap.
"By who?" You asked cocking your head to the side.
"By the same person who framed me for these murders." He stated matter of factly.
"How do you know that?"
"Because I just do."
As you stared at him so many things were running through your mind. That this man really was crazy and murdered all those women, but was just in major denial of it. There is no way someone could have framed him for all these murders and then paid people to lie about it. That something you see in a cliche movie.
"You don't have a husband do you." He stated as you squirmed in your seat. "I noticed you're not wearing a wedding ring."
"Are you scared of commitment?" His questions were becoming a little too personal.
"No." Glaring at him at this point.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked you making you scrunch your brows.
"I don't think that's any of your business." Snapping at him a little harshly.
"It's only fair I get to ask you some questions." He was amused that he was getting to you.
"You asked to be interviewed." You scoffed not even bothering to turn off the tape recorder.
"Touché." Smirking at you sensing the real you coming out.
He was clearly trying to get a rise out of you. Which he probably did with most women anyway. Seeing if he could see which right buttons to push and then proceed with flying colors.
"Why did you want a woman to do this interview Bradley?" Now this was something you were genuinely curious about.
"I love women." He answer basic making you roll your eyes.
"Oh please." Whispering to yourself and Bradley chuckled when he heard you knowing his response wasn’t helping his case.
"Because women give off a sense of safety and comfort. There like a warm blanket to wrap around you when you feel cold or scared. A sense of security if you will."
"Do all women make you feel like that?"
"Not all of them." He looked down again at his hands.
Clicking the tape recorder off you shoved it back inside your bag just wanting to get out of there. This was the most confusing and weirdest interview that you have ever done. You just wanted to get out of there and into the safety of your own home.
"I think I've got all I need here." Standing up as you adjusted yourself Bradley standing up as well.
"Thank you." Bradley bowed his head to you.
"Mhm." You mumbled through your lips as you turned to head back down the hall. Feeling his eyes on you as you walked away.
"See you soon Y/N." His words almost had you stopped in your tracks. They didn't sound menacing or threatening though. As much as you wanted to ask him what he meant you just had to get out of there.
Smacking the button to get out of there the buzzer when off. Swinging the door open and practically jogging out of there the security guards watching you as you left. Mr. Simpson was nowhere in sight and you really didn't want to wait up for him.
He was creepy anyway and would probably try to ask you out anyway. You really didn't feel like dealing with any more men right now.
Making it to the parking lot you hauled ass out of there and took off down the street. Texting Erica that you were done and that you had survived the interview. All you wanted to do was get home and get into something comfortable, make a nice meal and then go to bed. It was starting to get dark anyway.
As you made it home you almost slumped into bed and called it a night right there. You just wanted to spend the rest of your evening relaxing and not worrying. Today was mentally exhausting for you, and you'd just hope you didn't have to go back. Cause then you really would call in sick.
The time going by quicker than you expected as you checked your phone it see it was almost eleven at night. Turning the tv off you made your way into the bedroom to get ready for bed. After brushing your teeth and doing your routine you jumped into bed, and set your alarm for the next morning.
Placing the covers over yourself as you snuggled into a comfortable position. Closing your eyes as you started to let the darkness of sleep consume you. Until your phone started to ring your eyes snapping wide open to see who was calling you this late.
"Erica?" You raspy voice answering the phone. "You better have a good reason for calling me."
"Please tell me you're watching the news." Her words rushed and panicked.
"No cause I'm getting ready to sleep." Groaning rubbing a hand over your face.
"Turn on the news now." Her words demanding.
"Okay okay calm down." Shuffling back into your living room you turned your tv on flipping to your local news.
"We have breaking news coming in from one of our local sources and we have just been informed that convicted serial killer Bradley Bradshaw wasn't found in his cell this evening,"sitting on the edge of your seat now biting your nails, "Sources say Bradley has escaped from prison."

Hi! Hope you're having a wonderful day, could I just ask a small favour of you whilst I have your time? Under your sink, or wherever you keep them I'm not one to judge, there ought to be a kind of kitchen cleaner spray or something of the sort (though if not, no worries!! i know you probably don't clean and I'd hate to be presumptuous) and I'd like for you to chug it as hard as you can 🥰🥰🥰 if you don't have access to that kinda thing then consider other methods of killing yourself so we don't have to listen to your pathetic and disgusting horse shit
Tumblr media
I haven't gotten anon hate in a while and my first kys anon?! It's like a rite of passage! I've brushed up on my judging skills so let's get to work.
First, in your favor it's a rather long message. You actually took at least a few minutes to type that out so I know for sure I've been living rent free in your head for probably an hour? Maybe more. Everything is spelled accurately and you even used 'whilst'! I am such a fan of old-fashion words. I'm going to give you a hearty +5 for both of these. Alas, those are the only things working in your favor.
Automatic -7 for being anonymous. You're willing to commit a criminal offense but you don't have the guts to sign your name? Coward, absolutely pathetic. Because this message is anonymous, there's no punch. There's no actual drive for me to reconsider my words or actions. Look, if you're going to insult me and commit a crime, at least do it properly. -5 for this egregious offensive.
You don't mention what this is in reference to; is it something from yesterday? A year ago? 10 years ago? I've been on this hellsite quite a while and you don't mention what you believe is worth $10,000 and up to 3 years in prison to send this message. -3, not the worst offense but it doesn't help your cause.
Grand total: 0/10, not worth it. I was hoping for more out of a kys message but I guess my expectations are too high of a groomer. You can try again in 30 days or submit an appeal between 10am and 2pm GMT.

twilight boys encountering a 'pick me'
Tumblr media
a/n: just felt like writing something fun w these three today. edwards is the longest because i like him. reqs are open :))
warnings: both edward and emmetts get a lil dark, seth has the only sane response, cursing and fem!reader
edward cullen
he has no choice but to know everyone in a 5-mile radius, so as soon as he lays eyes on them in his head, he's already like 'this fucking guy😒'
genuinely perplexed how they thought this was going to go
Edward is a curious man. Humans are weird creatures. So the first time they approach he is going to at least give them the benefit of the doubt.
As soon as they even spoke ill of you—
*Heavy sigh*
"Come on." And then throws his arm over your shoulders and walks away like a fucking diva, as many times as it takes.
if they are a little harder to get rid of
his first instinct is to protect, if he senses you can't take it or remove you from the situation if you are the type to throw hands lol
doesn't really matter who they are
"Edward, that was my lab partner, you dick."
"Yeah? They were about to tell me all about how you used to eat dirt and then ask out for coffee later. Do you want to turn around?"
if they don't take the hint, then boo hoo, they can face the consequences of messing with the guy willing to die for his s/o
Edward gets mildly psychological. he never touches a hair on their head, but his methods are a little... long-lasting
he won't tell you either, you'll just be curious and ask after your usually persistent annoyance
you asked how they were doing one night over the phone, and they'd shakily confessed to you that lately, just when they start to think they're alone, in tight rooms and smaller spaces, the lights will cut off, doors slamming shut and locking tight for sometimes hours until someone finds them. They ask if they can speak to Edward. He hits the end call button.
they don't answer your texts anymore :/
that, and the hostile stares across the lot, usually gets the job done
but if it's someone you absolutely have to be around, or you explicitly make it clear you want this person in your life for whatever reason,
he can muster the niceties, but that doesn't stop him from pressuring you to get rid of them, even if you think you aren't personally affected, hearing negative things flung around about you is mentally taxing to anyone going on for long enough, and he doesn't think forcing a fake friendship for any reason is healthy
if the reason you give him is something materialistic—say you are using them for their pool
he will pave it in your backyard like those guys on youtube using bamboo and mud if it means you listen to him
if they cross the line again he is absolutely that guy to stop the conversation with "and what do you mean by that?" "What is that supposed to mean."
until they respond, completely killing the vibe 🙄
emmett cullen
you already know what it is
anything this man thinks is coming out of his mouth right away
they try to be subtle, making little digs at you here and there, and smoothing it over with some personal anecdote no one asked for or acknowledges. Give him a second. Emmett is a little slow to catch things like this.
Maybe they take it too far, or if you complain about it at all–
*80+ years of American public school activated*
"The hell did you just say?"
and if they try to apologize, backtrack with some well-meaning bs to get on his good side?
absolutely DISGUSTING, begone thot
"People wouldn't hate you so much if you weren't so weird all the time" 🥴
Emmett isn't out to blow anyone cover or anything, but what are the Volturi going to care about a couple of American highschool write-ups
unrelated, but now I'm imagining one of the Cullens(probably still Emmett) having a prison arc because they keep beating high school children's asses until they are sentenced and then breaking out years later. it becomes a local legend and his mugshot is memed for years
he gets mean, but if they wanted him to stop, they wouldn't shit talk his girlfriend right in front of his face
Emmett is a car guy. I'm sure he identifies strongly w transformers. his first thought is always gonna be the car.
he isn't above dinging doors and bumpers, keying something mildly threatening, perhaps rigging it up to his jeep and hauling it to the far side of the parking lot and ruining their transmission for the entire school to see, if he's feeling wild
If they don't have a car? He at least has the self-control for some mild intimidation.
walking a crowd is always a risk. You never know who is going where at what time, who could step on a lace, stick a leg out, snatch their collar like scruff and yank sharply until they fall on their ass
It's petty, girl.
seth clearwater
He picks up on their dislike of you pretty quickly and is kind of worried for you cause–
Are you not aware? That this one person really seems to dislike you? Why is no one else talking about this?
he wants to be nice to your friends, so he waits for your cue, desperately side-eyeing you for the entire conversation, waiting for you to shut their jealously down
they say something rude about the way girls like you take care of yourself and he is just beyond over it and blurts "Okay—What?!"
really pitchy and confused, and also blinking incredulously because what the hell is their problem
Seth is a pretty persistent guy, and he not going to just let someone slip an awkward insult at you and continue to talk to him like normal
he'll be nice at first when they immediately apologize to you and him profusely and everything is cool again
until five minutes later, when you mention being a little tired and they cut in to ask him how you can even keep up with him, greedily eyeing the smooth brown skin of his arms, exposed by his sleeveless shirt, not subtle at all in their admiration of the lean musculature
"What are yOU EVEN TALKING ABOUT⁉️" he explodes, controlled in his anger but soo frustrated at having to listen to this crap, and then the unwanted advances.
he figured it was part of it with the redirection of every subject back to them, but he can't even think about that because that came completely out of left field and he can't just gloss over it again to keep the pace, mamas 😩 yes he says mamas, his sister is a lesbian i think its funny
completely bitches them out, but it's just an itemized list of every horrible thing this person has shown about themselves in the short time he has been around them — and after he has said his peace, calmly leaves
you follow him,ofc

You are more than welcome not to like Mobius and I completely understand why you feel that way, but please tag your anti-Mobius posts with things like "anti Mobius" or "Mobius negativity" so people who do like him don't have to see it on our dashes. Thanks! :)
But I don't feel that it is negativity. What Mobius does is objectively evil. If I said that Alexander Pierce tortured and mistreated Bucky would you insist that I tag it as "anti Pierce" or "Pierce negativity"? No of course not. Because I'm just objectively discussing what the character does.
Loki and Mobius have the same relationship as Bucky and Pierce but a lot of the PR and framing encourages viewers to ignore that and to accept Loki's torture as justified and acceptable. It's not. Torture is a vile act that is NEVER justified. Just because the writer of the show is a creepy right winger who thinks otherwise and is encouraging viewers to parrot his vile views doesn't change the facts.
What Mobius does to Loki literally meets the legal definition of torture on multiple counts. Mobius holds Loki prisoner without due process or just cause. He degrades and humiliates and mocks him and obviously delights in this and revels in the power he has over Loki. He calls him a cockroach and pathetic. He acts morally superior to Loki despite the fact that he regularly and remorselessly obliterates entire realities because he believes the people in them are a class of person who don't deserve to exist - i.e. he commits genocide on an inconceivably massive scale. He forcibly detains Loki and makes him labor for him without pay; that's slavery.
When Loki understandably tries to escape his captor he recaptures him and punishes him by locking him in a cell where he beaten in the genital area (a common form of torture used in Russia and China and other authoritarian dictatorships even today) until he is willing to repeat degrading things about himself to try to get the pain to stop.
These are all facts. I didn't make those things up about Mobius. They happened. In canon. I think Mobius could have been a great villain. He's the literal embodiment of the concept of "the banality of evil" and a lot of real life atrocities are committed by people like him. The problem is that many people are presenting his acts as acceptable rather than villainous.
But he's not a good person. And he's not Loki's friend. The fact that people repeat the disgusting messaging in the show that someone who does things (and to the MCU's first canon queer character too btw! This show is no more good representation than Nazi cartoons that showed violence against queer people as funny and justified were) is in any way justified is deeply disturbing to me. People calling Mobius's acts of torture funny or justified or cute literally turns my stomach. But I’m not asking you to confine your posts praising Mobius to a “pro torture” tag or “pro abuse” tag.
The Mobius tag is for discussing the character, not for interpreting him in the way that you personally decide is correct. I am discussing the things Mobius does in canon. And I find them appalling.
Also even when I did tag things like this for criticism (even though stating objective facts isn't a criticism and it should tell you something when people interpret the truth as an attack) "fans" of the show would come and seek out my posts and then harass me. Because what I think people who send messages like this really want is for us to stop sharing our opinions. If you just didn't want to see my posts you could block me. But that's not really what this is about. You aren't afraid YOU will have to see my posts. You're afraid someone else might see them and might actually agree. So you're trying to intimidate and coerce and harass me and others who post similar things into silence.
It's not going to work.
Torture is wrong. Slavery is wrong. Degrading a prisoner for your own amusement is wrong. Obliterating entire universes is wrong. Someone who delights in committing these acts is evil.
I will never stop saying it.

"A place where I knew we’d be off the radar. Both the Solitaire’s and the Department’s. No. No, I wasn’t aware of the Solitaire’s plan to commit this… prison break." The who what now? Wait, CloseKnit isn't involved in this!? And no hard feelings that I don't believe your ignorance.
"I might find your… particular choice of occupation to be anathema to someone like me, but I recognize that your heart is in the right place." I forgot for a hot second that you're Avior 2.0. Speak plain English, please!
"And above all else, you’re a fellow Demon. And to attack a fellow Demon as they did… well. Let’s just say they got what was coming to them when that Ward holding me back fell." DID YOU FUCKING FORGET WHAT YOU DID TO CAELUM!? HOW FUCKING DARE YOU -
"I imagine you would like perfectly well for the Department to find us—and that’s your right. But for the time being, at least until you have your strength back… I’ll be making sure that’s not the case." Ah, at least you're honest about that. So! Trying to pull an Ivan, eh?
"Try to rest. I’ll tend to you while your strength returns. Well, I’m helping you because it’s as I’ve said—you intrigue me, Warden. So passionate… for all the wrong causes. Actually, that’s unfair. Not always the wrong causes… but for the wrong masters." I see what you're trying to do, but I'm a stubborn shit, Vega.
"Besides—you remain the only person in that god-forsaken Containment Facility that expressed anything toward me other than resentment, fear, or disgust. Perhaps it was little more than curiosity on your part… but that was by far the most positive reaction I’d ever elicited in that place. And so, naturally, intrigue began to blossom. And your proposed concept of counseling and rehabilitation amused me. It still does. I’ll admit, I’m morbidly curious." FUCK! I KNEW IT! ENEMIES AND LOVERS TROPE!? LET'S FUCKING GGGGOOOOO!!!!
"Revenge is for the uninspired. The dealings of one Incubus and his Freelancer toy are meaningless in the long run. And the long run is the only thing that matters to me. In all things." Ok, that I can agree. And thank god he's not going after the Freelancer and Gavin again!
"Then a discourse, it will be. Oh this will be fun. Oh, for both of us, certainly. Isn’t this what you wanted all along?" Something tells me that as long as he finds us interesting, Vega is willing to humour us. The question is, how long will that last?
"What questions do you have for me, Darling?" THAT SHOULD NOT MAKE ME SQUEAL BUT IT DID!
"You want to know why I would make Ivan fall in love with someone, since as a Sadism demon, that’s not something I could feed on. But that’s just it, my friend: it wasn’t love. Ivan never loved them. Wanted them? Desired them? Certainly. But covetous obsession does not love make. Ivan wished to control, deceive, possess his victim like an object against their will. And I’d say those feelings are quite sadistic, wouldn’t you?" Ouch. That kinda hurts, actually. I honestly like both versions of Ivan.
"And let’s not forget, there were two people in that little experiment of mine. And the things they imagined doing to Ivan to get back at him for what he’d done? The ways they wanted to make him pay for his abuses? Why, it could’ve even made me blush. Suffice it to say, there was plenty to feed on at all times." FUCK YEAH! BABY 2 ACTUALLY GOT MOXY! THEY HAD THEIR FIGHTING SPIRIT!
"Ah—shh… Be still. You’re straining yourself, Darling. It’s difficult for you to even speak. Just speak in my mind, as I do in yours." STOP MAKING ME SQUIRM! Also, I get the feeling he likes us helpless like this.
More gaslighting, OK OK. You're full of bullshit, Vega. I don't need your 'sympathy'!
"Allies? Oh you do make me laugh, my Warden. To consider humanity our allies. How delightfully undeservedly charitable. Your youth betrays you." The Warden is a young Daemon? Shouldn't they have someone guide them like how Empathy Daemons do?
"I promise you, I will continue to answer your questions. But first, we need to make some real progress in your recovery. Which means you need to feed. [laugh] How else do you plan to replenish your magic? Be still, Darling. I’m already taking care of it. Quite simple, really. When I was whisking us away from that hellhole, I made sure to grab a little snack for the road." HOLY FUCKING SHIT! YOU KIDNAPPED A HUMAN FOR A SNACK!? PUT HIM BACK WHERE YOU FOUND HIM, VEGA! BAD VEGA! BAD, BAD VEGA! WHAT THE FUCK!?
Jokes aside, he's trying to mould and change us to his liking. Plain and simple. I ain't falling for it!
"This one particularly loathes me. And most demons, to be fair. Turns out my abuses aren’t even special treatment. He’ll give off plenty of sadistic, hateful feelings to sustain me. And luckily, you can feed on anything. Because I doubt we’d get much else from him regardless." Ok, I'm sorry. I actually laugh at that. I just pictured someone forcing me to eat something I don't like. Like spicy food, lol.
"Warden, darling. Feed. You need it. And beggars can’t be choosers on the type of emotion available. He hates us for what we are. That isn’t going to change. You may find the taste bitter in comparison to other feelings you would more conventionally partake in, but this is all we have on the menu." WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT THAT DARLING BIT, BITCH!? Also, Vega would make a good Vampire. Just saying. Food for thought... something to think about... maybe a new AU to explore... He can be an Oldblood like William with Warden as someone he wants as a Progeny...
"Oh, shh… I know. I know it burns on the way down. Especially at first. Taking in something so cruel aches. But it’s all people like him would ever give us. And what’s a little pain in the name of survival? The ache will fade. And your strength will replace it. Drink deep from his loathing. You’ll find yourself accustomed to the taste soon enough." OH MY GOD, THAT SHOULDN'T BE SEXY! WHY IS THAT SEXY!? OUR HELPLESSNESS, HIS GENTLE COAXING AND VOICE - GAH!
...Fuck it. I'm gonna listen to his BA now.

Warnings: Crackfic...? almost? abuse victim, nsfw jokes. please be warned
Pronouns: They/them
Summary: Y/n L/n the unhinged genius of Vyn's patients. A mentally unstable being, the result of the Flora X testing. The same unhinged being that was let into the NXX to lead the searching for the drug.
Prompt: This post by @papellie (Ty for the prompt bestie <3)
Tumblr media
Vyn did not have any patients he considered impossible. Well, almost none. He had Y/n L/n, the very unhinged chaos that considered his hardest patient. Someone whom one of his old friends had dropped into his hands because they were an impossible case.
Vyn only took the hardest cases, and you seemed to be the worst of his patients.
"Vynnie!" The patient grins at the sight of their favourite doctor. "Vynnie are you here to shove my medicine down my throat again? How about this time you shove your fingers down my throat-"
"Good afternoon Y/n," Vyn ignores your question. "We've changed your medication to a liquid."
"A liquid?" They tilt their head. "But water isn't a medication?"
"There are many more liquids other than water," Vyn smiles while pouring your medicine.
"Do bodily fluids count?"
"They do,"
"So like cu-"
"Drink up," Vyn shoves the cup to them, and they gag at the smell.
"It smells like the flora drug my previous doctors used to force down my throat," they mumble before downing it in one gulp. "You should really add some sugar or honey to the medicine Vinnie, it tastes disgusting."
Vyn freezes at the familiar name.
"What did you just say?"
"That you should really add some sugar or honey Vynnie," They grin.
"Before that."
"The medication smells like the flora drug I used to be forced to take as a child?" They tilt their head.
"Do you know what that drug was called?" Vyn raises a brow.
"Flora... X? Flora X," You mumble. "FLORA X!! Vynnie are you proud of me?"
Vyn's eyes widen in realization. No wonder you were so unhinged, you had been taking the very medication that was made illegal years ago. Which meant you were a lead into one of the dark pasts of Stellis.
"Say Y/n... if I were to let you out of the ward every once in a while... would you be willing to behave?"
"Vynnie I'm about as stable as a paper clip standing up straight." They blink innocently.
Vyn sighs. He would need to discuss with the NXX team about it.
"Which is... why I suddenly think we have a lead on the medication." Vyn concludes.
"Well that sounds reasonable to let her in," Rosa is the first to speak up. "She does have the lead we need,"
"But she's unhinged," Artem cuts in. "She might cause chaos."
"I mean as long as Vyn keeps her calm I think she could give us some useful information,"
"Why can't you just ask her?" Luke asks.
Vyn sighs. "I can't force anything out of her unless she says it herself."
"Is it in the contract?" Marius raises a brow.
"Yes."
"Then just let her join," Marius shrugs. "It's always so serious in here, having someone unhinged might crack some jokes every now and the...n?"
The other three glare at him.
"Well I think we can try meeting her in my office once to see if it works," Rosa pipes up.
"I..."
"Let's meet her in her psych ward," Vyn sighs. "I don't want her to trash your place."
Which brought us to today.
"Vynnie!" Thye grin. "You brought your friends!"
"They're associates," Vyn sighs. "Y/n meet MC, Luke, Artem, and Marius."
"That's second gen richie, law boi, and bestie," You point at Marius, Artem and MC. "That last one looks like a golden retriever."
The four look at Vyn and he sighs.
"Y/n they're here to discover more about the drug you took when young. Apparently it stops brain growth and has depressive side effects."
"OOOh is that why I tried to kill myself with a plastic cup last time?"
"She did whAT-?"
"Perhaps. It could also explain why you're my patient." Vyn smiles.
"That's right! Vynnie only takes the worst of the worst! ...You have really bad taste Vynnie. I'd rather be with the mentally stable," they shrug.
"Ah so Y/n?"
"Yes bestie?"
MC flushes a soft pink. "Do you remember much about the drug you used to take?"
"Uh so I think the tablets were pink at first, and then they successfully changed it to white... I could recreate it for you if you want? But only for you bestie, Vynnie is too mean." They pout.
Vyn sighs and the other three turn to look at him.
"re...create it?"
"Well they recruited me as a scientist first so I know the basic components of the drug but then they locked me up to force the medicine down my throat. It tasted ok but I think I lost control each time I had some-" They mumble. "Oh and of course I ran away and then some random man caught me and sent me to Vynnie's. He wasn't that bad though, he fed me some good food-"
"Wait wait," Vyn steps forward. "You know the components of the drug?"
"It tasted like the medicine you fed me the other day Vynnie," They grumble. "I also remember that the lab had really pretty water next to it. I think I ran down a hill to escape them."
The five look at each other and then MC speaks up.
"Y/n,"
"Yes bestie?"
"If we let you come with us, will you help us gather information?"
Artem frowns and you catch it.
"Law boi doesn't seem very happy about me coming along."
"Your mind works incredibly but the drug seems to have limited you." Vyn steps up. "I'll give you a nice room to live in."
"Idk Vynnie, sounds like bribery to me," They shrug.
"I'll bake for you-"
"Sold." they're glowing.
'... that easy?' they all sweat at your quick response.
"So all I have to do is gather information right?"
"We need to find out where the village is-"
"Up on a hill. Really tasty fish... uh crystal clear water and then I think I bumped into a crashed car on my way down the hill." You mumble. "I think the place started with O-"
"Opaline Village." Luke speaks up. "Is that it?"
"I think so~" you smile. "So Vynnie... when do I get to move out?"
"If you behave well the next three days I can get you out by the end of the week."
Your eyes glimmer.
You're an incredible actress, and an even better hacker apparently. Luke gave you three lessons on basic hacking and you broke into the Pax firewall quicker than he could.
"Ok so what now?"
"Can you get the locked files?"
"These?"
You even printed them out.
The group could only call you an unhinged genius from that point on.
"Your codename will be Flora."
"Wow you really named me after a drug huh Vynnie-" That earned you a smack in the head.
"King I can you order takeout?"
"Not to here-"
"Then to somewhere nearby! I'm hungry!" You reach for the knife in your drawer.
"ADJUCATOR!" Marius calls before you can end him.
Vyn shoves a pastry into your mouth and you continue working.
"We're heading to Opaline village today," MC and Luke tell you.
"Samples are in the third drawer in the fourth room after you turn left bestie~!" You sing.
What the hell?
"Vynnie what's for dinner,"
"What would you like?"
"Revenge," You blink.
"Rosa's working on that." He hums. "Food wise?"
"You-"
"I'm not edible," He deadpans.
"No but your-"
"I'll order pizza," Marius groans. You had been pulling all nighters in the office to crack down the firewall to the other files.
"Artie can you grab me a coffee on your way here?" You're on the phone with Artem now.
Vyn snatches the phone and sighs. "Don't get them any. They've been awake for nearly 72 hours now. I want them to crash asleep before they crash dead,"
"AWW VYNNIE CARES FOR ME!!!" You grin cheekily.
Artem brought you hot tea instead.
Then MC and Luke came back. You stood with the others as they watched MC get kissed by Huey. The child then ran up to you and hugged you.
"Thank you for teaching me how to break the firewall..."
The other five turned to you in shock.
"Love you Huey. Remember not to hack anyone unless you absolutely have to," You kissed him on the forehead. "Be good in school alright?"
"Okay..." He smiles.
Since when were you good with kids??
"So uh... we found the files," MC handed you papers and you grinned.
"My medical notes!"
What kind of Harley Quinn shit is this?
"So... what kind of abuse did they exactly go through?" Vyn stands next to MC as they watch you fight Marius.
"The files we read said that apparently at first they were fed the drug inside of their meal. Eventually they were locked up in a prison cell and turned into a complete test subject. They skipped three meals before they ran away." MC mumbles. "It's really sad."
Luke pulls you off of Marius and Artem hands you your morning coffee.
"Only you're dependable out of you all Artie..." You sigh blissfully after a sip. "Only you..."
Vyn's eyebrow twitches at the comment. MC can only look in amusement.
"Y/n you need to take a break." Vyn sighs.
"I get a break when I get revenge on that bitch who started drugging my food," You hiss.
"Even if I bake?"
"Depends what it is," You continue clicking, and you're focused.
"Then..." Vyn can't get himself to say it.
"Let's bet then," You mumble. "I break the firewall in the next hour you go on a date with me, if I don't then you can drag me to bed."
Vyn sighs. "Deal." He was really powerless compared to you.
Sure enough in 30 minutes, a cheer erupted in the headquarters. It sounded like your voice with Luke's.
"WE BROKE IN WE BROKE IN RAVEN WE BROKE IN!!!!" You screamed, your voice was hoarse from the lack of water.
The two of you are in an embrace, and Vyn's eyebrows twitch again.
"The all nighters..." Luke cries. "We did it..."
"VYNNIE YOU OWE ME A DATE!" You cried.
Vyn can only sigh. "When would you like to go out?"
You stand up, and you make your way to him.
"When I wake up." You proceed to crash dead onto the bed next to him. The NXX team then panicked for the next ten minutes because Marius thought you stopped breathing.
You slept for three days.
The NXX thought you died. Then you woke up and acted as though you didn't just die for 3 days.
"Good morning bestie," You're back on your computer again.
"Y/n you shouldn't be back on your computer after dropping dead for three days." MC panics. "Besides, Y/n you're going on a date today with Vyn right?"
"Yeah," You yawn.
"Do you want to dress up?" You strut to your closet.
"Oh look," You throw your closet door open. Lingerie and t-shirts and shorts. "Ah here's a decent outfit."
You toss together some clothes, and MC smiles. "Would you like me to help you with your hair?"
"Sure. Thank you MC," You smile.
The epitome of gender envy. Damn bestie you looked hot.
Vyn arrives a couple minutes after you finish getting ready.
"Vynnie!"
"It's... been a while since I've seen you dressed up," Vyn smiles. "Shall we go?"
You grin as he leads you to his car.
"What would you like to do?" Vyn peers at you.
"Can we bake at your place?" you fumble in your seat.
"Sure," He smiles. "What would you like to make?"
"Macarons?"
"Those are pretty hard Y/n... you sure?" He raises a brow at you.
"If I can hack a firewall then I can bake macarons." you grinned.
So turns out that was a lie.
"Vynnie ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ " You whined. "Help me!"
"You didn't beat the egg whites enough," Vyn grabs the bowl from your arms and you rest your head on your palm.
"Vynnie the male wife..." You peered at him. "Vynnie would you marry me-?"
Clang
Vyn's caught off guard and drops the metal bowl. His glasses slide down slightly, and his lips are parted in shock.
"Sorry Vynnie," You reach over the counter to help him fix his glasses, and you beat the egg whites yourself. "Must've scared you out of your mind."
"No no," Vyn regains his composure and smiles.
"Dedication is hard," You mumble. "People change after time, and changes vary from person to person... betrayal plagues a person, and people that you once loved no longer love you back. Which is why Vynnie doesn't want to date right?"
Vyn pauses, and you hum in satisfaction.
"Ooh the egg whites are stiff." You turn the bowl upside down on top of your head and grin. "Shall we mix the two together?"
"Let me," Vyn folds the mixture in, and you hum. "Vynnie do you like MC?"
Vyn nearly drops the bowl again. He just couldn't get a break from your remarks. "Why are you asking?"
"When you came to pick me up your pulse was quicker than usual." You mumble. "Then when we got in the car and out of MC's sight your pulse slowed"
Vyn stops to stare at you now. "Is that why you were holding my wrist?"
"Luke taught me," You mumble. "To read people better."
"Unfortunately your hypothesis is wrong," Vyn smiles. "My heart did not quicken because of MC."
"Huh," You mumble.
"Could you help me put the batter in the piping bag?"
"Sure," You open a piping bag, and you open it for him to put the batter in. "Can I do the piping?"
"Sure," Vyn finishes filling in the bag, and you pipe the batter onto the tray.
"Vynnie why did your heartbeat go up then?"
Vyn stares at you. "Because I got to see you dressed up,"
You stumble and nearly mess up on a macaron shell.
"Vynnie teasing me isn't funny," You pout. Vyn smiles as he rests his cheek on his hand.
"But I was being honest," He beams at you.
"Vynnie!"
"Alright two hours"
"DON'T JUST CHANGE THE SUBJECT-"
"Siri please set a two hour timer-"
"VYNNIE!!!"

It's always felt weird to me that Lan Sizhui / A-Yuan s often propped up as the reason Wei Wuxian saving the Wen Remnants was worth it when he's pretty much the only one who would have survived anyway.
(I'm not saying it's not, as those months/years spent in the burial mounds clearly meant a lot to the Wens. But a LOT of people ended up dying from the prison break to Nightless City to the First Seige. So that's something to think about.)
I'm sure if WWX just dumped A-Yuan on Nie Mingjue's doorstep and asked him if he's willing to murder toddlers in cold blood to make them pay for their parents' sins, A-Yuan would have ended up in an orphanage or foster home somewhere. Imo pretty much everyone but the scummiest of Jins is likely to be disgusted at forcing 3 year-olds into work camps. And if that doesn't seem viable, there's always hiding A-Yuan in the Jiang because he's so little no one will recognize him as Wen.
Imo all these bat-dung crazy ideas I just thought up are at LEAST as viable as the burial mounds option. It's just... Yeah, I don't think A-Yuan's survival means much when he was certainly the least likely to die among his family.
Heh. I'm not just here to soap box. Thoughts? I'm open to criticism.
- Regular Anon
That's an interesting point tbh.
While I haven't personally encountered that take, I do have to agree that yes, it's highly probable that in the heat of the battle A-Yuan could have gotten injured or killed, but really, no one in their sane mind would look at a three years-old under normal circumstances and say "yeah, this one has to go too".
A-Yuan was honestly the easiest to save. Just change his clothes and drop him in any village. As you mentioned, not even someone as hellbent on detroying the Wens as NMJ would have left such a small child to his own devices had he been given to him. So it's not like A-Yuan was some precious thing everybody was after that had to be protected at all costs. I mean, he WAS for his family, but you get my point.
Don't get me wrong tho! Even if only one person made it out of that disgrace thanks to WWX, then it was all worth it. The Jin assholes of the camp were more than happy to have a toddler work himself to death, so yes, WWX did make a difference there!
I'm just saying that I get where you are coming from bc there's also an argument to be made that... if WWX would have known that only A-Yuan survived in the end, would he had left the Wen remnants in the camp and just take A-Yuan with him? That could have saved his own life, but I honestly think he would have done it all over again even knowing the outcome. Not to mention that WWX raiding the camp also brought WN back (sorta).
Idk man, hyping A-Yuan's survival as the only reason why the Burial Mounds were worth it somehow feels like taking away what it meant to the rest of the remnants and to WWX himself.
It was worth it bc it was the right thing to do, even if no one made it in the end.

VANOSSGAMING
Another amazing victory.
Let me just kill this motherfucker over here.
Should I be a traitor?
I don’t want to cross the fucking beam to kill you.
How are you going to get that, it’s impossible.
Give me a chance, I’ll do anything.
Wait, who's still alive?
They’re both pretty good.
Are we supposed to be in here?
This is not on par with my expectations.
H2ODELIRIOUS
What the hell is wrong with us?
Shoot that one eyed bastard.
We can't let him win again.
Everybody step back.
I woke up this way, I don’t know what happened.
Go ahead and end it.
Damn, I got blinked out of existence.
If I can't help you, then I can't help you.
That means he wins no matter what.
You have so much blood on your face.
SMII7Y
That's so mean, did you realize what you did to him?
That was way too confident.
Instantly sells me out, I love it.
Be warned, that's all I know.
What the fuck did I do?
Damnit, reverse psychology didn't work.
It was worth it.
I always find a way back.
Why can’t I move?
The first event of its kind, I’m probably going to die.
WILDCAT
Oh, we both threw it, that was overkill.
You’ll see soon.
I'm chasing him, but he's so fucking fast.
You’re still going to be better than any other random teammate we might have...kind of...you're probably going to sit in the corner with a shield, maybe.
Make up your mind, you do or you don’t.
Don’t die to that thing.
I just shot him in the head through a telephone pole.
You flushed them out, good job.
Or just be a cheater, that’s fine too, you fucking bitch.
Y'all need to shut the fuck up, quit talking.
NOGLA
Oh boy, I'm on the spot right now.
I don’t know how we’re getting out of this one.
Oh, he’s actually going to get a weapon.
Oh, this is fun, this is satisfying.
That was actually pretty smooth.
How are you not dead?
I’m nervous...it’s like my first time.
I’m good, I’ll follow.
Everyone just got obliterated.
I’m gonna need you to go to the meet up spot, you’re kind of taking awhile.
TERRORISER
Maybe it's because you're using a fucking laptop!
My computer did crash, so I can't cry like a bitch.
I'm just going to buy him a computer, even though he's the most successful of us all, I'll buy this bitch a fucking computer!
You ruined the joke, and you ruined the session!
Shut up, I hope your audio cuts out, you little cheap bitch.
Kill the flies.
And he blew me, yes, he blew me so good.
Stop getting distracted.
Get nice and close.
Don’t worry about the boobs.
MOO
You might need to go to a doctor though, cause I just saw you drink like six of those.
I’m willing to do teams, as long as I’m not with...Oh, actually, I don’t like any of you.
So, we’re trying to screw each other.
I straight up panicked!
I just wanted to be first.
Remember to loot the bodies.
You can take out the driver and arm guards, but just don’t take out the passengers.
There’s prisoners back here.
Where is he? Oh, found him.
That scared me so bad!
BASICALLYIDOWRK
What the fuck does that even mean, bro?
Nope, we’re done.
I grabbed the extra life!
Might plug in the controller in a second.
You’re disgusting.
I dare you.
They’re both there.
I almost fucking died.
He sniped me.
I’m fucked.
FOURZER0SEVEN
What was I supposed to do!
I would like some kills...maybe.
Did you assassinate someone?
I swear I just heard someone.
I don't know how I feel about it.
Something tells me it's not.
Yeah, I almost missed that.
I just murdered him.
Bro, I don’t get out much!
Yes, you did, don’t lie.
