OK so its been a month since the last time ive played Dead Plate and uhh oops!! my bad !!

in my defense life has gotten very busy for me especially since its the holidays but now i finally have the time to finish this game and get at least one ending!! (hopefully)

back to day 5 where i struggled so incredibly hard

the amount of times ive played through day 4's nightmare sequence is killing me

bro. how do i pass this level without losing a customer

honestly, it was a very fun and enjoyable game! i liked the serving aspect even tho i kinda sucked at it and like i also really liked Rody and Vince despite all that just happened those two are seriously fucked up and i love them LOLOL

the music was really good and made up for having to redo day 5 over and over again alskdjh i was jamming most of the time to the music the art was also really good! i liked how cute the pixel sprites were, and then like the art for the portraits and CGs and everything was also really good! i really enjoyed the art style and music

the story was interesting, and i liked it too the twist was wild and blew my mind but i am still a massive fan of Vincent x Rody JKDAHSDKJ

i like how there was a cannibalism twist but Vincent wasnt actually like, an actual cannibal he was just insane and planning on making Rody an unknowing cannibal

i know he ate Rody's ear but like. he said that he doesnt eat people on the regular so yk he's just fucked up

also its really funny reading all the comments and seeing a lot of Vincent x Rody stuff LMFAOOO so true of everybody honestly

overall, 10/10 would play again solely for the server gameplay (would be cool to have a kind of endless mode where you just serve customers until one leaves or something) and also because i love these characters

SPOILER REVIEW FOR THE MARVELS

Just got back from the theater, watched it with @that-coolllama and my mom :D

This is all over the place but I'll try to keep it concise.

Let me start off things by saying I didn't have the biggest expectations from this movie. After watching it definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it!

[ But TL;DR Plot Characters, and Comedy were awesome. Couple of Scenes could have added stuff and been a bit better. 8.5/10 ]

Okay actual Review and Spoilers after the cut 👇

Things I liked!:

-I really liked the scene where Carol and Monica were attracted to the light like moths. That was really cool ,they just couldn't stop themselves from getting closer and touching it, human nature.

-Goose was so cute in the beginning! SHE HAD BABIES which was fun. 27 I think. That scene that the kittens were eating all the ppl, hilarious.

-Kamala's family was a nice touch and were supportive, but didn't get in the way. Which was great :D Their duologue was natural.

-The beginning with Kamala's drawings was so fun!

-THE SINGING PLANET AND THE FACT THAT SHES MARRIED AND HER DRESSS AHHHHHHHH CAPTAIN MARVEL IS A PRINCESS?? is this based off something in the Comics? I need to see that. That world is cool and super creative. The universe is vast! Costume And Dance coordinators worked real hard you can tell!

-FIGHT SCENES UGH THE FIGHT SCENES. They were really good and well coordinated. I thought it would be confusing but it wasn't :O. Especially after the training montage 💪

-The 3 Marvel Gals had awesome chemistry! All the dialogue felt so natural between them.

-Monica's Mom dying during the Blip is heartbreaking. Also seeing the background of the hospital in CHAOS was super interesting. I'm glad it is shown that the Blip had an effect on people's lives and not just. "a thing that happened oh well". Kinda reminds me of in Multiverese of Madness that guy tells Dr.Stange that his cat and brother died while he was blipped.

-The Skrull history is so heartbreaking. The Skrull REALLY can't catch a break huh :/ but it does create good world building & is interesting.

-THE END CREDIT SCENE THAT KAMALA IS ASSEMBING A YOUNG ANVENGERS TEAM?! AHHHH !!!!!

-The way the Kree Leader Villain just... disintegrated was crazy. Speaking of her, she was a pretty alright antagonist. I wouldn't go as far as to say that she was a villain since she was doing all this for a pretty good reason. Not that what she was doing was right, but from her perspective I understood where she was coming from.

Things I didn't like/could have used touch up:

-The Special Effects were actual great and I didn't see any problem with it! except the scene where Monica and Kamala are falling in the sky. Other than that they were good throughout!

-Carol - "I caused a Civil War, the decay of a planet, and the Skrull their Home"

Monica- " It's okay, we're family"

LIKE GIRL NO IT IS NOT. okay actually I forgot why the AI was bad so maybe it was worth it but still ;-;

-Out of all the sacrifices that one was a bitttt anti climactic. I think maybe the scene just suffered from being too short. Kamala and Carol should have been shown to react more. Still, was a pretty good sacrifice </3

-Definitely could have been longer. my brother mentioned how the ending kinda feels like a much of cut scenes just Frankenstein-ed together. And yeah and does kinda feel that way.

-Some things I would have loved to see-

Like WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SINGING PLANTET?!!?!??

Another scene of Goose and her kittens would have been nice.

On the singing planet Carol was like " we need new clothes" and the Prince is like "k" and they just show up with new clothes? Like we didn't see them react to it or anything -_-. C'mon Kamala loving her boots would be such an easy comic book callback.

Kamala calling Bruno and Nakia. Like they were not mentioned once! T_T KAMALA YOU CAN'T FORGET WHERE U CAME FROM.

This may be that I haven't seen ALL the MCU stuff but where did the Skull go? If they have a home now are there Skull on Earth. WHY WASN'T ANYTHING FROM SECRET INVASION MENTIONED.

-Anyways-

-That X-Men End Scene. .... uh ... very interesting to say the least. I have not consumed ANY X-Men content but like to have them in a different timeline than the main MCU is a lil lame, but go off. Idk I'd like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has seen X-Men content.

Overall, I think the comedy, characters, & world building all fit perfectly.

A 8.5/10 movie for me. Can't wait to rewatch it!!!!!

yep! it’s Lego Monkie Kid but as Warrior Cats! i feel like their warrior names are pretty self explanatory lmao (Monkey King + Sun Wukong; shadow monkey + Six-Eared Macaque). but wait, you scream, MKpaw???? thats not a warrior name!!!

simpletons. in this AU, the legendary clans are distant history, long forgotten tales told to kits. so then why do they have warrior names? because Wukong (Monkeysun) and Macaque (Shadowear) were both born into the clans, and remain one of the few survivors of it. MK is a kittypet (or stray cat) who is enraptured by the tales of clancats that his friend-slash-father-figure Tang tells him. said stories involve a certain “long-tailed cat” named Monkeysun, the warrior who “stole the stars” and “lived forever.”

yep! Monkeysun stole the stars. Literally. Because in LMK everything is literal. Well, literal-ish. By stars, I mean the powers of StarClan granting lives. That’s how Monkeysun gained immortality in this AU - instead of stealing peaches, wine, and pills, he broke the Moonpool and granted himself a million lives. of course, this meant leaders could no longer gain their nine lives, and, understandably, many cats were upset, so of course, using what power they had left, the leader of StarClan (the Jade Emperor) buried Monkeypaw (he was an apprentice at the time) underneath the earth, in the tunnels, where he would roam and starve forever until all of his lives were gone.

course, that didnt happen, and Monkeypaw was freed to journey alongside the monk Tripitaki, who would be like a guardian cat or Sisters equivalent I suppose, and he and the other gang would partake in a journey to the west/sundrown place to find Buddha (a Rock or Midnight equivalent figure). why do the take the journey in this AU? honestly idk lmao.

anyway! what about Shadowear?? well, Monkeysun (who earns that name from Tripitaki) kills him when Shadowear attempts to kill Tripitaki, but! Even tho the power of the stars are gone, the Dark Forest still lurks, and the Lady Bone Demon (prob called Bonestar, formerly Bonelily or smthn) uses her powers to give Shadowear a life, resurrecting him, so long as he follows her rules...

similarly, the Mayor is able to possess cats like Ashfur, and wants to grant the power to his Lady but he needs to free her first, which is Shadowear’s purpose (it’ll have something to do with the Moonpool probably)

so flash forward to the present and MK finds Monkeysun’s stick (bcus of COURSE its a stick in this au lmao) and becomes his apprentice, training in the way of the warriors. Mei, ofc, joins him, and Pigsy is against it, while Tang is in awe. And Sandy’s supportive but wary with his own dark history (coughgangcatcoughBloodClancough). also yep Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy are still reincarnations, and Mei has the “dragon” ancestry still (the Samadhi fire stuff i dont have figured out yet, though it might be some magic Moonpool stuff instead maybe - oh also Nezha is the guardian of the Moonpool now, and maybe Chang’e is the guardian of the Moonstone? and DBK lives in the mountains and therefore guards the Tribe’s magic cave thing?)

also here’s some warrior names that wouldnt technically be canon to this au:

Pigsy -> Pigflower (why flower? because he cooks, and flowers are like herbs)

Pigsy’s first life/Zhu Bajie -> Boarbelly (bcus he eats people)

Sandy -> Bluesand (do i need to explain this one? not sure what JTTW Sandy/Sha Wujing’s name would be tho)

Tang -> Goldenshine or Brightshine or similar (once again not sure what his OG/Tripitaki’s name would be - maybe Goldensun to parallel Monkeysun?)

i also agree especially with berries. raspberries and blackberries have no right having those tiny little seeds that get stuck in your teeth. its a Sensory Pain for me so i just chew them super softly so i dont actually put pressure on the seeds 😭

im neutral to.. MOST SEEDS other than that but honestly i cannot deny that if some of the were smooth and seedless that would be kind of epic... pleasant texture. i also dont like strawberries that much specifically because i need them to be super sweet bc the sudden tartness explosion bothers me. yet i also will eat a raw lemon and extremely sour candies for fun but i swear its different. its not a sudden explosion in my mouth of tart juice THAT bothers me. i have a bone to pick with strawberries. so much potential.

what i think fruits really need is to have less awful SKIN TEXTURES apples are the worst. they are my sworn autism enemy. for years i thought it was part of the normal experience to have to psych yourself up to bite an apple and deal with the severe sensory pain to the point it was almost physical i thought that was just like something people put up with apples 😭 like yeah the apple pain we all know her. one day i just realized i can just fucking peel them and now i peel them LMAO i also cant stand grapes that dont have enough surface?? tension so that the skin just sorta pops if theyre all loose the skin just hangs in your mouth and is tough and unpleasant... Evil

ugh little core areas are also evil. slightly hard core left from inside of apples hey whats with my and apples. theyre the worst. love the taste tho. anyway peaches too i love them but i need to cut out the stringy close to pit area bc it bothers me.

I can tell you that 2023 is not the best year for me. Wanna know why? It's because :

I began this year having flu + fever

Typhus in the middle of the year (i was literally on bed rest for 10 days)

And now i'll end it with diarrhea

Like, diarrhea? Out of nowhere? WHY DO I GET DIARRHEA WHEN I DONT EVEN EAT ANYTHING THAT COULD CAUSE IT?

I swear i've been sick so much this past month alone. I got sick twice on December, everyone. TWICE. Ugh! I hate being sick. Why do i become sick so easily 😭😭

I dont know, is it only me or is it just a part of adulting lol But i feel like i'm getting weaker day by day both mentally and physically. Like, i was fine and full of joy 5 minutes ago, then suddenly got really exhausted and lack of motivation. This might be because i'm getting older, but i'm still on my 20's, i'm not that old tho.

Long story short, Me and my friends used to have regular schedule after work. We'd like to go to the beach, simply to watch the sun set or just hanging out at the cafe whenever we could finish our job early (let's say it's a self-reward for our hardwork lol). But now? WE'VE NEVER DONE THAT ANYMORE CAUSE WE'RE TOO TIRED TO JUST STOP BY.

For unimportant comparison, the nearest beaches we'd usually go are Petitenget, Kuta and Double Six. It only took 20-30 minutes from our workplace. And, we've been to some beaches at Jimbaran and Nusa Dua too (Dreamland, Gunung Payung, Balangan, Geger) which took us an 1hr++ from our workplace to be there. For us who works 9 hours (from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.) a day, taking an hour of scooter ride should be exhausting (if you know Bali with its heat and traffic), but surprisingly we still go anyway.

Even on July, we went hiking at Mt. Batur and know what time we hit the road? 12.30 A.M. After! Being! At! Work! All! Day! And we went there by scooter. It was a 2.30 hours of endless riding in the middle of the night. Not to mention the little accident where my scooter's back tyre suddenly punctured and we could barely find any repair shop at those hours (such a horrible night, if i must say). And we still go to work like usual on the next day.

I mean, WHERE'D THOSE SPIRIT GO? I used to have that "Semangat Masa Muda Yang Membara dan Menggebu-gebu" but now? Poofs, it was gone and nothing left. Gosh, i miss having that spirit of youth and the strong, wild and highly motivated me. This year is so bizarre for whatever reason tho!

got overstimulated at school and had shutdown to meltdown

i could feel it happening since the morning cus i couldnt even shower bcos the sound of the water and the feeling of it hitting my skin made me panic, so did brushing my teeth and doing makeup

then i thought school might be okay, even tho its literally just thousands of people talking for 8hrs. i knew i was shutting down literally in 1st period, cus i was having trouble masking, then started to just stop being able tk talk properly and everything started to blend together and i was like "oh fuck" then i started shaking kinda and i rly wanted to jist sit w my headphones on and take a breathe

but i had an oral prez 2nd period and i fumbled bcos i was having trouble speaking, and that made me feel even worse but i was just waiting until i could close my eyes put on my noise-cancelling headphones and BREATHE.

so i went to eat w mt friends and then i realize

...

i forgot to bring my stupid fucking headphones, then i broke and started to cry bcos everything was too much and too loud and at the same time i was trying to not make a scene cus i was literally in front of 3 friends, and then one noticed and gave me a tissue, then i started SOBBING and doing what i normally do (pulling my hair and skin and clothes).

it was rly rly embrassing because they all went quiet, which was actually really nice but i feel bad that they stopped talking because of me. and i know it mustve lookd weird, and i know they already think im weird and im sk sick of not just being Normal.

and i felt so shit that i just went home after and i feel bad bcos i didnt say goodbye to my gf properly

and my gf was rly sweet, like she held my arm and it didnt burn, it actually kind of grounded me, but i feel rly bad bcos i feel like i just cant be normal and am a constant burden to her, even tho she says she doesnt mind i feel like she should

and it made me feel a bit small, which ironically made my sensory issues worse, and ive just felt stuck in a semi regressed headspace for HOURS and i just cant get small but i dtill kinda feel wonky mentally and its all just UGH

anyways tldr; was vry neurodivergent @ school, very embrassing, i feel half small, and i dont wanna go to school tmrw
