Circe - That she's okay. Rarely is she ever ACTUALLY okay, but she tries to convince herself that she is so she can convince others that she is.

Louis - That he can't be fixed, that he's just a monster and that's all he'll ever be.

Styxx - That one day his brother will stop hating him.

Fox - That she's unloveable.

Mbege - That he's not enough.

gina does her best to help, but she doesn’t have any particular talents ( she envies that about raven and bellamy ; they have a clear role to play )

she trains with abby and jackson in med bay to be a nurse. eventually she starts studying physical therapy.

alive au : she works hard during her months on the ground. because of this, she is given a spot in the bunker ( since she is one of the ark’s few medical professionals )

Oh man, headcanon queen? *BLUSHES HARD* Thank you so much! I haven’t written any about them but I’ve thought about them because I hate that Bellamy’s love life was never properly portrayed:

First time he sees her behind their improvised bar, it’s on the day Clarke leaves after Mount Weather.

He settles on the uncomfortable metal chair, heart heavy, feeling like all he wants to do is forget. Everything around him is ugly, everything around him makes awful metal very Ark noises, noises that remind him of his childhood of trying to keep his sister safe and failing, just like he has failed saving the kids in the Mountain.

And then there she is. And she smiles at him as she hands him a glass. He feels like he knows her from somewhere but he can’t recall which station she’s from and he doesn’t smile back.

He doesn’t have it in his heart to.

“Looks like you need a drink.” she mumbles shyly and his face falls even more, remembering the conversation he’s had with Clarke just hours ago.

“Have one for me.” she had said. Oh…he thinks, I’m definitely going to have more than one, princess.

Gina doesn’t prompt him to talk. This is what he loves most about her. He starts coming every night and he uses all his drinking rations for the day in one go.

She’s generous, she always fills his glass a bit more. Maybe it’s pity, maybe she’s just genuinely being nice, he doesn’t know, can’t seem to care. All he does is go through the motions. Clarke’s gone, so now he has to keep the kids save, help around camp, be a guard, a soldier. That’s all he’s ever been good at.

One night he gets really really drunk. His head falls on the table and his eyes droop. Normally, he can handle his liquor but he’s received extra rations for picking more guard shifts so he’s decided to get hammered to chase the nightmares of dead kids in his feet, away.

“Hey, do you want me to get Miller to help you to your place?” he feels a hand on his and he shivers only to realize no one has touched him like this, tenderly, lovingly since Clarke.

“Everyone has already left, Bellamy.” she says gently again when he doesn’t respond.

“Everyone always does.” he mumbles sadly. She grips his hand and pulls him up “Come on. Come with me.”

Somehow she drags him outside by the water source and practically splashes some of it on his face until he’s laughing for reasons unknown to himself and she’s laughing with him too.

From then on it’s easy. With Gina, it always is.

It’s a bit awkward at first. He hasn’t really taken a girl out. Ever. But for her he tries because she deserves it so he pulls his efforts into it.

She’s kind and it’s so comfortable to be around her. She smiles at his stupid jokes and she is shy and genuine, warm, kind.

One night when they share dinner with O and Lincoln by the fire, his sister grips his shoulder before she goes and whispers in his ear “She’s good for you, brother.” which makes him blush.

Kissing her is like the sun grazing his face. Making love to her, like a gentle push of the waves of the ocean to the shore-fast, easy, like they know where they belong and exactly how they would leave a trace on the beach before the ebb away.

She likes him tickling her. He loves grabbing her by the waist and pulling her up with her legs kicking in the air. Her hair tickles his nose. His curls fit right around her bony fingers.

She’s from Hydra. He realizes he remembers her from the black market on the Ark where she sold old metal pieces and clothes he never could afford. A year older than him, she was taking care of her father before they landed. A good man who died when they collided with the ground.

When he gets hurt trying to save Clarke, she is the first one to see them drag him inside-all bloody and drunk on pain. She usually never panics but when she sees him something inside her breaks.

They carry him to medbay and put him on a cot and all he does is fight them back and whisper Clarke’s name. She smiles, she’s known.

She’s always known.

She’s seen his eyes wander through the forest when he kept guard, she’s noticed his heart long, his legs itching to run when they were out of camp in the forest.

He always looked for someone else.

Someone who was never her.

But still she holds his hand and pushes his chest down while Abby is trying to calm him down and stitch him up. He’s sweating, ferverish, he’s blabbing everything that comes to his mind and he doesn’t seem to recognize her but she holds onto him tight and leans down touching her forehead with his.

“I’m here.” she whispers and kisses the tears from his cheeks away “I’m here. You’re not alone.”

And he sobs, breaking apart right in front of her but squeezing her hand back and trying to talk, to apologize to her for being stupid, for getting himself killed, for chasing after someone who didn’t want to be found at all.

She silences him with a gentle kiss and his head finally relaxes into the pillow. Then carefully, she brushes a curl from his forehead giving Abby the perfect time to inject him with the sedative and she watches his eyelids droop and his broken brown eyes finally, finally get peace.

in lieu of actually writing things I present you instead, a headcanon:

My kids && Valentines Day

Circe: Is neutral about valentines day. She is a secret romantic at heart so if you do something romantique for her she won’t be mad about it. If she has no plans, she’s likely found in her favorite seat in her favorite underground bar/meeting spot. Is not above making appointments for underhanded dealings on holidays.

Louis: Never makes Valentines plans. Gives the wrong impression. If invited, he will be upfront about his policy of not making v-day plans. Is most often found at the gym, occasionally found with @headstrongblake

Styxx: Literally probably never remembers that it’s valentine’s day. He’s not social enough that it’s in his face in the upcoming month. If he does have an SO he will be more likely to remember, and will probably go all out romantic date: flowers, dinner, slow walk after dinner where he of course carries your flowers if you want him to.

Fox: Hopeless romantic, but is most often found having Galentine’s day with whatever of her girlfriends don’t have SO’s. Is easy to please, just as happy with pizza&movie at home as she is a romantic date. Will likely feel bad if you spend a lot of money on her.

Mbege: Varies year to year. If he’s dating someone, he’ll probably do a movie or dinner or something lowkey. If he isn’t dating someone and Murphy isn’t dating someone, they’re probably out causing v-day chaos and lowkey ruining/entertaining people’s dates.

Dick: Highkey romantic, but also 9/10 likely to forget and be on patrol instead of doing the dutiful boyfriend thing. 10/10 will be apologetic. 9/10 likely to happen next year (or next holiday) too.

Jason: Pre-joker is 8/10 likely to do something romantic for a partner. Post-joker, does not celebrate. Is likely out giving Dick a headache and distracting big bro from remembering it’s v-day to see if he’ll get in trouble with his SO of the time.

Gina: Lowkey romantic, highkey domestic. Given her canon boyfriend is Bellamy, she likely sets up a romantic dinner at her house and invites him over. Nothing requiring hardcore reservations or an inability to leave in case his sister or one of his dozens of adoptees need him.

Blaise: *can’t answer because he’s too busy laughing at all the poor souls celebrating “true love”*

UMA’S CREW (NPC LIST)

It’s been a long time coming, but i’m finally putting together some headcanons about uma’s crew. In what’s my name and it’s goin down there are approximately 12-14 crew members, including harry and gil. with four being noticeably female. so, a summary:

harry is first mate, but in reality he is an amalgamation of first mate and quartermaster. he is in charge when uma isn’t around and he is in charge of overseeing that the crew are all doing their jobs and chores, punishments are rare, but when they need to be carried out, it would be harry’s job. he is also in charge of making sure food and water supplies are brought on board. as the only experience navigator on board, he also fills this role.

gil is the master gunner, as the son of gaston he probably knows the most about weapons, so he is in charge of making sure everyone is keeping their weapons clean and ready for use and in a battle situation, if uma is not immediately available, he’s the one that would be giving orders. if the crew got hold of canons, he’d be in charge of those too.

jonas is the boatswain, he reports directly to uma or harry and he is in charge of keeping an eye on the rigging, having been taught by harry what it should all look like. when not on the ship he also runs a market stall in the bazaar, selling scarves and fabrics, funds from this go into food and ship maintenance where possible. he lives with the crew on the ship, having left his original home on the outskirts of the isle. his mother was a witch but he doesn’t seem to show any capacity for magic. he is described as having dark hair, a scar on his cheek and cornrows. he often wears red and black.

desiree is a deckhand and a strong fighter, she joined uma’s crew in the first instance during the quest for the trident. she longs for adventure and is considered the most wild of the crew. she moved onto the ship when her mother kicked her out, but not wanting to abandon her baby sister, she took some of the crew and took the kid to somewhere it would be safe. corrina, her two and a half year old sister, is kind of the unofficial crew mascot. she gets doted on by the crew who know what it’s like to have sucky parents. she adopts a more feminine style, wearing ragged dresses instead of pants, keeping her brown hair long and filling it with orange highlights.

bonny used to work in sykes’ chop shop, but when the opportunity arose to become a pirate on uma’s crew she jumped at the chance. she’s not the best fighter, getting riled up too easily to the point that it makes her sloppy. but she’s very good at knots and takes her duties very seriously. she’s one of the best deckhands on the ship. she dresses for her job, in a fishnet shirt with dungarees over the top, she keeps her black hair cut short and tied out of her face with a strip of red fabric.

gonzo is one of the under gunners. he’s in charge of weapons under gil, his duties are often sharpening and cleaning swords and making sure the canons are clean. he is often very opinionated and likes to voice those opinions. he can be considered to be quite a loud-mouth and you shouldn’t really tell him any secrets as he’s as bad as the goblins at spreading rumours around. he has a twin sister named gina who still lives with their parents and who works in the market selling fruit and isn’t on the crew. he is also romantically involved with brianna. he has middling length black hair and dresses in bright colours, wearing bright blue pantaloons and a jacket to match.

samson is one of the younger members of the crew and is a deckhand, he wasn’t involved in the first wave, but was instead picked up a little later when harry saw him carrying heavy boxes around the docks and recruited him to the crew. despite his small frame he is very strong as he’s actually half giant. he has two half-brothers, kieran, 21, and martin, 10. he’s grown up playing pranks on his brothers so he is very mischievous and good at spotting traps. he is small framed with fair hair and wears layered shirts, often bright colours with black over the top with slashes in it.

emily is a deckhand one of the most dramatic crew members after Uma and Harry. she is a fierce fighter and a good combatant. she is one od the few crew members who don’t live on the ship as she has a secondary job working in the market for her family. they sell homewares and she often saves the best plates/cups/cutlery to sell to the chip shop or donate to the ship. she has long blonde hair and dresses in dark purple, preferring classic style dresses with puffy sleeves. her dress sense is overstated and she likes to show off. she has a younger brother named elias, who is age 12 and has recently started work fishing from the dock.

brianna is the closest thing the ship has to a surgeon. she occasionally fills in shifts for uma at the chip shop when uma is busy with her other work. she also often takes charge of looking after her brother, Bruno, and her younger sister, Bridget, who is too young to be on the crew but sits at the shop sometimes. She is practical and clever, often outwitting opponents instead of fighting them. she is in a relationship with gonzo. she has mid-length dark brown hair and wears a bright yellow under-dress with a purple overdress and layered scarves for belts. she likes attaching shiny things to her scarves.

bruno is a deckhand and brianna’s big brother, he originally joined the crew, having worked with harry on the docks and being familiar with uma and the chip shop. he can come across as a little high-strung at first, but he is also deeply protective of the people he cares about, which includes both of his sisters. he, like brianna, dresses in yellow and purple, usually with a black leather waistcoat. neither bruno nor brianna live aboard the ship, instead they live with their parents in the town.

rafael is another of the dock-runners turned deckhand, he joined the crew in order to seek out treasure and adventure, but he doesn’t live on the ship. he has a shack off the docks where he lives with his father and his younger sister, rebecca, 15. he is one of the under gunners on the ship, taking his orders from gil and gonzo and he prefers to spend his time high up in the rigging, looking for enemies. he’s a fast runner and is often the one chosen to deliver high-importance messages around the isle as he’s considered to be trusted. in order to better blend in on the streets and not be easily identified as a pirate, rafael wears plainer clothing than most, usually in shades of brown and black. but he does like to add a pop of colour with a scarf belt or bandana.

octar is the child of a member of the hun army, they joined the crew as deckhand, but it was quickly learned that they have a lot of musical talent and so they are often the one leading the crew in shanties, or playing the music during ‘family’ nights (often accompanied by uma, harry and/or gil). they live aboard the ship but sometimes take days off to visit their home and their younger brother uldric. they identify as non-binary and often wear brightly coloured, loose fitting clothing.

min is one of the non-human members of the crew. he is part siren, but was kicked out of his family home for identifying as aro-ace and showing no desire for romantic or sexual relationships. he has a fully human half sister named victoria whom he lives with, they both tend to a shoe store in the market, min is a talented cobbler who makes a living patching up and selling the holey shoes that get sent over from auradon. he and victoria usually have competitions to see who can fix the most shoes in a day. he is also an excellent locksmith and key-cutter, but those dealings are likely to be under-the-table. he also likes to weak understated clothes, browns and whites are his colour pallet of choice.

different verses may also have other members of the crew, but these are the ones that are going to be referred to most frequently.
