The explosions send a tremor through the entire Star Destroyer. Hux is currently putting all his effort towards keeping his balance, which seems impossible to do. One glance at the Allegiant General reveals that he is standing as steadfastly as ever - no pun intended, of course. It sends a rush of frustration through Hux' body, even though he has long ago realized that his hate for the man is actually just redirected hate that should be aimed at his father instead, or perhaps even Ren. (Or a good mix of both, he thinks and grips the console even tighter so he doesn't fall.)

"That is impossible," he hears Pryde's voice, a strange mix of disbelief and, buried even deeper but audible underneath his calm facade, mortal terror. "They don't have an army."

Hux clears his throat. "That is not an army, sir," he says.

In a way, he's glad. Because defeating him means defeating Ren, because defeating the First Order means putting an end to what Ren turned it into. But at the same time he can't help but feel...

"The escape pods near my quarters," Pryde says, frantically. He's scared. He's so scared. He's looking death in the eye and he is freaking out.

Where is the man Hux spent all of his energy on the last few weeks? Who is the man Hux hated so desperately because hate was the only emotion that didn't hurt?

Despite having a way out, Pryde doesn't move. He keeps staring at the ship's windows, the open space, the ships targeting them.

"Well?" Hux prompts. "Use it. Escape."

At that Pryde turns to him. Have his eyes always been this blue? They must have been.

"The password is Vanto," he says very calmly. The fear is gone, replaced by something odd, something Hux doesn't understand. It frightens him, even more than the other man's fear.

"Excuse me?" he whispers.

"Vanto. V-a-n-t-o. Repeat after me."

"Vanto?" Hux repeats. The word leaves a strong aftertaste in his mouth.

"Good. Now leave. That's an order."

Hux was not build for survival but he has been trained for it. He nods, turns and starts running towards the doors as the ship around them breaks apart, collapses into itself, as the last remains of the Empire burn out.

"Armitage," a voice calls.

"Yes?" Hux asks without turning around.

"I never liked Brendol very much. I thought you might want to know."

Against his better judgment, Hux turns. Pryde is still standing at the window, his back turned to him, his eyes facing death. Their eyes meet in the reflecting surface of the ship window, and even though Hux tries his best, he can't make out the man's expression. He can take in all the other signs, the way his hands are shaking behind his back, the way his shoulders are raising with panicked breaths. Allegiant General Enric Pryde is scared of death.

There's nothing Hux could say that would make it better. That's why he doesn't say anything at all.

He runs.

I write a lot of dark stuff, so feel free to specify if you want to avoid something or want something specific.

I really do enjoy just the fun of building a fic from a single word, but I’m also happy to try and tackle any longer and more complex prompts. 

If your prompt isn’t filled the week it’s sent it, I’m still going to write it. I always respond to an ask to explain why I won’t fill it if I’m not going to.

If I can’t/wont fill a prompt, I’ll post it and explain and say it’s okay to send another.

prompts are only open on writing wednesdays or if i specify otherwise (this was changed because of how many prompts i get easy wednesday and thats the specific prompt day)

feel free to ask me if i've got your prompt but please know it sometimes takes time to get to all of them and I write verses based on the mood I’m in

I don’t post all of my fic fills to ao3 but I do try to do about half of them. Posting takes a lot of spoons and I generally end up adding more to the fics when I post them so it takes a bit.

I want it very clear that I do this because it’s fun and healthy for me and everyone who prompts is super sweet and I don’t do it to get feedback from prompters (but I always enjoy it)! It's really just worth it to me for the expression of shared art. Because I wouldn’t write half of the fun stories I love creating and exploring without the prompts from others to tickle my thoughts.

However, my partner and I are very protective about my mental health and I have social anxiety to the degree that I sometimes still need my handheld after strangers talk to me so I don't go rolling into a blanketball and scream.

If you are rude, I will sic my boyfriend @saeths (who is an asshole) on you and they will happily come down like a blistering gust of burning wind from an out of control wildfire. Seriously, they think it’s fun to fuck with people and they’re very protective. {i have npd and a lack of acceptable targets -saeth}

They would enjoy it, except the part where it made me upset. 

So don’t make me upset and I won’t set saeth on anyone.

awh, hey nonnie! i am into star wars as well yes, lol. im into a bunch of other fandoms even if i don't post very often about them. my main ones right now are transformers, avatar the last airbender, and star wars, but i'm also a big fan of stuff like mass effect, dragon age, borderlands, red dead redemption, x-men, teenage mutant ninja turtles, fallout, call of duty (which @dullahanst is mainly responsible for, mwah) and a bunch more stuff!! if anyone has any more questions about fandom stuff like this then feel absolutely free to send them!!!

but since you asked specifically about star wars- it's very hard for me to pick favorites lol. i have a few main favorites but there are SO many characters i like. ive been told before that my favorites are pretty predictable given who my transformers favorites are?? BUT:

my absolute top favorites are ahsoka tano (mainly clone wars era ahsoka), darth maul, asajj ventress, and captain rex. also a VERY big fan of cad bane, and a barriss offee defender.

as for what i've seen, i've seen a decent bit; all of the live action movies, the clone wars movie and show, bad batch, tales of the jedi, rebels, and i've been picking away at the mandalorian. i'm not as into star wars as i used to be, but it's still fun to think about!! thanks for the question nonnie!

- certain tws! anything that relates to r*pe, incest, pedophilia, eating disorders, sewerslide, etc. other tws i have written before and are okay for me to write, like self-harm, suicidal thoughts, heavy angst/whump, blood/violence, etc. if you're unsure you can always ask me, or i'll let you know if i'd prefer not to write a certain topic

- crack ships, it's just not my thing as i don't really write anything that's meant to be comical

- certain characters: this goes along with the toxic ships, etc. but there are certain characters i will refuse to write. an example is billy hargrove or peter petigrew. the reasons of why i won't may vary but it shall be respected regardless

Falling From Dawn AU Base Info

The Falling From Dawn (or FFD) AU is an AU comic I'm making. It takes place after the ROTTMNT Movie, so heads up for spoilers about that!

At some points, this blog will function as an ask FFD![character] blog! It'll be a good way for me to keep up motivation.

My main goal is to post at least 3 pages a month; one arc per month, basically, but my motivation fluctuates a LOT. I'm also still in school, so this schedule will probably not be stuck to very well, but I'll do my best!

Well, I'm glad you guys seem to like this idea! It's been 24 hours since my announcement post and I already have *checks* 21 submissions! Some of those are duplicates of the same characters so I technically have less, but still! That's already about half of what I'd need to do a 32-character bracket! Wow!

In the original announcement, I said I had not yet decided when submissions would be closed. But now, I'm thinking I'll close submissions on September 1st! So keep that in mind! However, that is subject to change. I might push it back, I might end them early, who knows!

But! Some other things I didn't say in my first post:

My posts will all be tagged "Star Wars pilots bracket". Follow that tag if you so wish! The actual polls (when they come along) will probably be tagged something like "Star Wars pilots round X" idk we'll cross that bridge when we come to it

I'm completely willing to do a taglist! Let me know if you'd like to be tagged when I post/when polls start and I can make that happen!

Which characters actually get into the bracket will be prioritized by when they get submitted and how many submissions they get. A character that got submitted yesterday will be prioritized over a character who gets submitted a month from now, and a character with 5 submissions will be prioritized over a character with 1.

Remember, I need YOU (yes, you) to help me get this tournament out there! Reblog the original announcement post, tag people you think might enjoy it, etc. I know it doesn't seem like it, but little things like that actually help a lot!

Obligatory reminder to not spam the submissions or anything. It does nothing but make my life harder. Based on how this is going so far, I'm not really expecting that to be a problem, but you never know.

this morning i noticed that i had over 2.5k followers, and that number floored me so much that i had to try and keep myself composed. thank you to everyone who has followed me, it really means a lot! as a little celebration, i'm going to do a sleepover, and it will run from now until tuesday, january 10th :)

Thank you so much for letting me know! I thought I had anon turned on already, but it’s 100% turned on now! Regarding your request I got a little carried away and wrote both some general fluff and some confession headcanons for Ranboo so this post is a little long... Hope you enjoy! :D

(It’s important to note that these headcanons are a combination of ones pertaining to his Minecraft character in the dsmp and him outside of the dsmp roleplay!)

General Ranboo Fluff

- Dreamsmp Ranboo -

The first time Ranboo cries in front of you is when you confess to him and he is so happy and relieved that you reciprocate his feelings. He even smiles through the pain of his tears as you panic to cover the skin beneath his eyes, so your hands catch his tears to stop the pain.

Ranboo likes to ask if you need any resources from time to time and once you finally give in and answer, he spends the rest of his day trying to collect as much of it as he can. This has led to a few incidents in which you came back to your shared indent in the snowy mountain to find a chest stacked full with polished stone and countless ores. You’ve scolded him but the way he responds with big puppy dog eyes wishing to “just be helpful.” Sets the butterflies caged in your chest free every damn time.

Ranboo in addition to asking you for want you want he is also very observant in noticing what you need. Any tools close to breaking? Brilliant, he’s already got three more of the same tools ready for you to grab when you need it. He also names them using the anvil to some silly super cheesy pet names.

One of his favourite things to do with you is stargaze. You both travel to the top of your snowy mountain and clear out a space free of snow to lie down and simply hold each other. Ranboo has started asking Techno (on the nights you are away) to point out the stars and tell him their corresponding stories. He happily relays all of this information to you in exaggerated detail, looking at you in awe as your expressions change with the twinkling lights above.

Ranboo almost always carries a little umbrella around with him in case it begins to rain. Most of his friends notice and all start to buy him some. He now has a full collection that line his wall just next to the door. It’s those small things that allows him to remember who his real friends are.

Ranboo LOVES having his hair played with. He will fall asleep within minutes of you beginning to tousle his hair as he rests his head in your lap. He may make soft enderman noises, but you don’t dare tell him. Content on keeping that little secret to yourself.

Ranboo has to be kinda careful around snow considering that if it melts it will hurt him. Meaning he has to sit out on any snowball fights that occur. And they occur more frequently than you would think. It usually starts with Phil throwing a rogue snowball at Techno when Phil notices him slumping his shoulders. Which means it doesn’t take long until it’s a full-blown war. You usually find yourself smack bang in the middle of it and have to dive down to avoid getting pummelled in the crossfire. Ranboo will call you over to hide behind Techno’s house. As the onslaught continues between the two. you giggle and commentate over the fierce battle together.

- Outside of Dreamsmp Ranboo - 

Ranboo enjoys watching you whenever you are focused on something. He’s incredibly observant and finds himself mimicking the small little nuances he sees you exhibit. He gets incredibly flustered whenever you notice that he’s picked up on them, but he doesn’t bother to deny it.

Ranboo finds himself staring at you a lot. He doesn’t mean to but he can’t help it. You catch him frequently, “Watching me real closely, hm?” He tries to stutter out an answer to defend himself, but you just smile and tell him it’s okay.

Ranboo finds a lot of comfort in doing ‘domestic’ activities with you. However, one of his personal favourites is when the two of you go out to get groceries together. His mum will give him a small list and he’ll try his best to dawdle around the store whilst swinging your intertwined hands to make the visit as long as possible. It makes him think of a future in which the two of you get to do this every single week and that alone warms his heart.

Ranboo always has to be near you, he doesn’t have to be physically touching you but he prefers to just be stupidly close to you. It always makes you laugh when he sits just close enough to you that you don’t touch, so now he has to do it forever.

Your laugh is one of his favourite sounds. To the point that if you giggle or laugh at something, he will just keep doing it over and over again for as long as you keep laughing at it. Which eventually leads to the both of you red-faced and gasping for air.

Ranboo is a terrible cook. But he tries so hard to follow recipes and they always flop. He also for some reason, cannot attempt cooking without making an utter mess of himself. Whether it’s spilling flour all over himself, getting egg yolk splatter somehow in his hair or just spilling copious amounts of milk on the floor so that he slips. This boy is a walking, talking kitchen DISASTER. So now he can only cook with you supervising him. Which turns out, wasn’t as much of a punishment as it should have been. As your tutelage seems to have slightly improved his cooking skills. However, now you also get flour spilt all over you as well.

Ranboo Confession Headcanons

- Realising he likes you - 

Ranboo denies he has feelings for you at first. Believing that you’re just a good friend whose company he really enjoys. But the more he focuses on your friendship the quicker he realises he would prefer if you were more to him than that.

This thought alone sends him into a little bit of a spiral for a few days. Grappling with the thought of rejection and the guilt he would feel if he ever hurt you.

He spends most of the time grappling with his feelings he continues to try and act as normal as possible around you. You finding out would be his worst nightmare.

Ranboo realises he has absolutely no history in the dating department and desperately needs some guidance. He may ask Phil on a whim who would try his best to give the poor panicked boy some words of wisdom. Ranboo takes the advice to heart immediately, promising Phil he will update him on how his feelings for you turn out.

Ranboo finds himself writing about you in one of his many journals. He finds putting words on the page seems to help clear his mind. He tries to script his confession a few times. Desperately floundering to find the right words, but he always seems to fall short. He usually ends up scribbling all over those pages until you can barely tell someone had even written on them. Hoping to somehow erase the thoughts in the process.  

He even tries drawing you a few times when he finds himself with enough spare time. He doesn’t think they’re any good though. Sure, the sketches look like you, but they don’t make him feel the way you do. When he looks at the page his chest doesn’t tighten because of your beauty, but instead because of the way you’ve made him feel. Which he comes to the sad conclusion is something he simply cannot capture in his words or his drawings. He has to show it through his actions. Not exactly his strong suit. But he’s determined to do right by you. So, he devises a plan.

- Confessing to you - 

This boy plans the whole day down to a t, he has multiple back-up plans just in case his first one falls short.

Ranboo invites you over for lunch. Arriving at his place you notice how clean it is. He spent the last few days cleaning it top to bottom.

You spend a few minutes in the house chatting. You notice Ranboo is on edge almost immediately. Shoulders a pinch too tight, his smiles a little too wide and none of them reach his eyes.

You ask what you’re going to be having for lunch and he reveals a wicker basket from his kitchen. “A picnic!” Your heart warms, “I would’ve brought something if you’d told me beforehand.” He smiles at that, “Exactly. I even cooked without you, you should be proud.” 

He shuffles on his feet a little, wishing to be praised, “We’ll see how the food tastes first, maybe then I’ll tell you how proud I am.” You tease, moving to elbow him lightly. You notice the way his face flushes as you move into his space. His mother appears from upstairs, “Are you two leaving? I could drive you, y’know!” “No thanks mom!!” He is quick to grab your hand and practically drag you out of the house and away from his all knowing mom.

The bus ride is on the longer side and you find yourself feeling brave enough to scoot a little closer to Ranboo. “Hey, is it okay if I?” You gesture between your head and his shoulder, the cute, shocked expression he sends you causes you to grin. “Uh s-sure!” 

You softly press your head against his shoulder, “Thanks, pretty comfy shoulder you got here should’ve asked you to share it sooner.” You tease, nuzzling his shoulder lightly just for a reaction. And you get one alright, his skin goes such a lovely shade of red all the way up to the tips of his ears. You giggle softly, trying your best to hold it in and failing miserably.

You even manage to fall asleep despite your own heartbeat quickening at Ranboo’s closeness. You are tapped awake by him, “Hmm?” You rub one of your eyes knowingly appearing adorable and the way he looks at you makes it all worth it. “It’s our stop soon, we gotta get up.” 

You nod and lazily stand and he follows suit. Only for the bus to brake abruptly, promptly shoving you into his chest. He wraps his arms around you quickly to steady you whilst you desperately cling to the wicker basket, “You okay?” You both mumble to each other before laughing it off and nodding. “Oh crap.” Ranboo grabs your free hand and you both scramble to get to the front of the bus to hop off. Sparks fly up your arm at the extended contact, even as you jump off the bus.

Ranboo happily leads you to a spot he had picked out earlier in the month. A soft patch of grass below a large willow tree that now sways softly in the warm breeze. You set up your carefully packaged feast with haste now that your stomachs are grumbling.

Ranboo forcefully tries to make himself relax knowing you’ve probably noticed his tense state by now. But you choose not to push him on it, taking an educated guess on why he’s so stressed.

You are quick to compliment his cooking skills when he divvies out a freshly baked quiche.  Even though you know his mom for sure did most of the work. It’s the thought that counts. You hope that may snap him out of the stupor he seems to be in. However, no such luck.

“Hey Ranboo, do you want to talk about something?” Ranboo goes into full panic mode. He did not have a plan for you asking something like this. He thought you weren’t confrontational!! You watch as his expression changes rapidly. You look away, “You don’t have to tell me, it’s okay. I just thought you might want to-“ 

He takes one of your hands in his. Why is he doing this??? This isn’t part of the plan at all! “I…” His throat goes dry. All those hours obsessing over what he was going to say to you are sent out the window when he finally meets your eyes.

“I think I like you.” He hasn’t realised he’s even said it until its waaaaaay too late. Your eyes widen, you didn’t think he’d actually admit it to you. You squeeze his hand as you watch his eyes seem to lose focus, “I like you too.” He is silent for several long moments until he starts blinking rapidly, “Huh!?” The look of utter surprise on his face causes you to burst out laughing.

“Wait, wait, wait you’re serious?” He grabs your arm as a grin slowly starts to creep onto his face. “Sure am.” And as you meet his gaze you realise that his grin actually reached his eyes, for the first time in a long while. 

“So, you gonna kiss me now or what?” You tease as his face shines a dark red. “W-well I, uh-“ His stuttering only allows for you to sneak closer and press a firm kiss to his cheek. Somehow, he grows even redder and you sigh pleasantly. “My heart definitely made the right choice with you Ranboo.”

Meanwhile Ranboo is too busy freaking out over the fact that you weren’t even meant to find out he liked you until you were stargazing together later tonight. His plans are utterly ruined! But as you squeeze his hand again to bring his thoughts back into the present, he wonders that perhaps spontaneity isn’t such a bad thing sometimes.

Rules:

1. No explicit content. I am an adult, and I'm okay with some mature language and themes, but if it starts getting too far, I'll let you know. In general, avoid graphic descriptions of body parts and intimacy, but when in doubt, just pretend we're co-writers for a TV-14 show. For my muses under the age eighteen, this rule is obviously much stricter. Pretend you're talking to a younger pre-teen sibling (since I unfortunately know how inappropriate casual conversations can become in high school). Both of them happen to be asexual, so you can discuss that to an extent, but anyone who sends them sexual comments or asks invasive questions on the matter will either be given a warning or blocked on sight depending on the severity of said action.

2. No God-Modding/Auto-Hit/etc. unless we discussed it ahead of time. Of course, if I reblog an RP meme that invites you to hurt or control my muse, you can temporarily ignore this rule to an extent.

3. Please plot with me. I don't like going into RPs completely blind. We don't have to work out every detail, but I'd at least like to get the basic gist of your character and the type of plot you want before starting anything. If I have no idea what our muses' relationship with each other is like, I'm not going to respond to any starters you send me. I also reserve the right to turn down certain plots and/or characters I'm not interested in interacting with.

4. Please be patient with me. Between real life and other RPs, I may not always respond right away. I don't expect you to either. That being said, Tumblr is a highly dysfunctional app, and if you're worried that I may not have gotten the notification for your response or mention, feel free to PM me and ask! Especially if you notice I haven't been active on the dash; I can't count the number of times I've only seen a reply or something I was tagged in because of my addiction to dash-scrolling.

5. Please don't interact if you're below 18. This rule doesn't necessarily apply to following or sending asks to my underage muses, where there shouldn't be any NSFW content, or the occasional SFW headcanon that might get spread beyond the rp community, but I will block any minors I find in my notes engaging with my content for adult muses directly. For my own comfort, I will not write with any muns who are minors, regardless of our muses' ages. I also won't write adult/minor or large age gap ships.

6. Feel free to reblog anything from me except RP threads that you aren't part of. This is for my writing partners' comfort, and other than that exception, I couldn't care less about my notes getting clogged or reblog karma or whatever... I've literally had people reblog my bios and plot wishlists, which was weird but not upsetting. Although, on the topic of reblog karma, if I notice that you only use me as a resource blog without showing any interest in my muses, I won't block you, but I'm probably not going to be super motivated to RP with you either. When interest is shown though, I love being reblogged from so I can see how our muses relate or to send you asks as well!

7. Given that most of my blogs are for OCs, I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty OC-friendly. I'll RP with any well-written character that I can see my muses interacting with. For crossovers, I don't have any outside verses for my muses, and I'm not the biggest fan of multiverse plots between different franchises, but I'm definitely up for writing with AU versions of your muses as long as they fit within the world enough for me to not be distracted by it. For example, I probably wouldn't write with a Dragon Age version of Swiftwind from She-Ra, since animals don't talk in that universe, but I might be more open to it if Swiftwind were possessed, since there was a demon who communicated through an animal host in one of the games.

8. Please tag the blog you want to interact with when mentioning me. Hopefully, I'll see it eventually if you don't, but Tumblr tends to not shoe that I have notifications for this main blog unless it's for messages.

9. I write any length from conversational to multi-para. I'll generally try to match your length, but don't feel like you have to do the same. In fact, shorter responses are often less overwhelming to me for that very reason. I'm prone to letting the words take over occasionally, but as long as you give me something I can respond to, we should be good. 👌

I'm not going to give out my real name, but you can call me pretty much any variant of my blog or muse names. Raven was a popular one on my old blogs, because she was my first Tumblr muse, but if you want to call me Distant, Hawke, Laim, Swelter, etc., go for it. I'm also giving Spook a try as an official online nickname if you want to use that. As mentioned in my blog description, I'm 23 and use they/them pronouns. I currently work full-time, but my hours are inconsistent, so my schedule is constantly subject to change. My time zone is PDT, so I'm usually running at least a few hours behind everyone else, and I don't have the healthiest sleep schedule. From my interactions with mutuals whose time zones I'm familiar with, though, y'all don't either. Please know that I mentally calculate what time it is for you, and I do get concerned that so many of you regularly stay up until 3 a.m. or later. I'm a hypocrite, but please sleep. 💞 That's all I feel is necessary to put down. I'm bi, ace, and enby if you really want to know for some reason. Mita is an angsty character, so prepare yourself for some of these. 

Warnings: general angst, self worth issues, child soldiers, and trust issues. 

🍩 ‐ favorite sweet treat

Mita very much enjoys creampuffs. She almost never gets the chance to eat them, but if she has some spare funds and no job to be doing at the moment, she'll spare some time to buy a few from one of the bakeries on the south side of Piltover. 

🍧 - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

As sad as it is for her to realize, the only things she has from her childhood are her swords and mask. Mita was trained to be a killing machine ever since her hands were big enough to hold a knife. She was only nine years old when she was handed her swords, and at that same age, she was wearing the four-eyed creature mask. And while Mita would be found dead before she was found without her mask or swords, she may be passing them down to her own protege in the next seven years. 

🍁 - what is their favourite season? why?

Mita loves the spring. Practically, it's because it means the harsh winter is over, and she might actually get to relax when she sleeps in the warmth. However, the romantic in her loves it because flowering plants that grow along the walls of abandoned buildings give her some bittersweet emotions. 

☀️ - are they a morning person? what is the first thing they do in the morning?

She is almost always on the go, so she's whatever kind of person the job needs. Mita doesn't actually have a place to live because it would be too dangerous for her to return to a place every day; she makes a lot of enemies. The first thing she does upon waking up is check to make sure if someone found her and is waiting to follow her somewhere. Unfortunately, Mita lives a harsh life. 

🙈 - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

Mita does everything in her power to hide where she comes from, and who she was involved with. She is not the only creature taking bounties in the underground, she's just the only one nice enough not to kill everyone that sees her face. 

🙉 - what is the worse thing your oc could hear from someone?

There are very few things in the world that could make her angry enough, or scared enough to be qualified as the worst thing she could hear. But tying into the last answer, there's nothing more terrifying to her than being told that there's another creature waiting for her to make a move. 

🙊 - what is something your oc will refuse to stay quiet about?

Well, Mita is quiet about pretty much everything. She's a woman of very few words. But the only time she has ever spoken at length, is when she didn't understand how and why someone would actually try to be kind to her. She was raised, or rather, trained to see herself as less than person. Mita is a creature, not a person, in her mind. So when someone shows care and concern for her wellbeing, she can't help but lash out and question why anyone would. 

🌌 - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them? - I've got a lot to say about this process, so prepare yourself. 

Typically when I make an OC, I decide what kind of character I want first, and then I make the appearance match the personality. Mita was the fourth one I ever made for Arcane, and at that time, I knew I wanted one like Asajj Ventress from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. If you've ever seen Clone Wars, I even imagine her voice in the mask to sound like Ventress' in her bounty hunting mask.

However the look of Mita's mask was based off of Monomon's from Hollow knight.

I actually have a sketch of Mita's first draft, where her name was originally "Moment." I feel that you can see Ventress' influence there most.

From there, I decided a few things about her backstory. Like that she was trained from a very young age to be a killer, and a fighter, that she doesn't trust people, and feels threatened by genuine care for her because she's been trained from that young age to assume that everyone is trying to take something from her. 

And at this point in an OCs creation, if I'm trying to write a romance with them, I decide what kind of character they would fall in love with, and what kind of story would be the most fun to write and most compelling to read about them. 

I chose Vander because it's clear that he is a man that doesn't second guess his own judgement, and recognizes honesty and kindness no matter where he finds it. He's someone that could see the worst parts of Mita's life and accept her for who she is, and help her be who she wants to become. And he's also the person that is wise enough to offer the comfort and care she's never been afforded, and let Mita make the choice herself if she wants to take his offer.

☁️ - a soft headcanon - Well, because she's my character, and anything I want can be canon about her, I'm going to take "headcanon" to mean facts about them that I don't intend to specifically write about or include in a story. 

That being said, in her childhood, whenever she got a moment to herself, she liked to make flower crowns, bracelets and other woven accessories out of anything she could find. Whether it was flowers, string, spare chords or whatnot, Mita likes to tie them up into little accessories when she needs to kill time. 

Typically, she'll give what she makes to any of the kids that want them, but her favorite thing to do is teach the children how to make them. 

💧- random angst headcanon

Well, you've definitely seen the kind of angsty character Mita is already, so finding something to call a specifically angst headcanon is difficult to find, but I hope this doesn't disappoint. While I do intend to delve further into this in Least Sane Moments, I don't think I'll get the chance to discuss it there the way I want to. 

While there is no shortage of things Mita has wanted for, the only thing that has ever been so close to her reach, and yet never attainable, is a name. She was always called a "creature" because the woman that trained her had an image for assassins with skill that bordered on myth for her own attempt to seize power.

Names were for people, and she was never a person. Until Vander just wanted to give her one so he could call her something. "Minute" was so much more than just a name to her, it was a symbol that someone recognized her as part of their life, and wanted to see her as a person. That name gave her humanity, and it was only then that she fully realized the extent of what her life had been missing, or rather, that she had missed the chance of having a life. And yet, there was Vander, ready to offer her starting point. 

💗 - if they have a crush, is it noticable? what changes when they're in love?

Mita is canonically graysexual, and it is rare that she even wants to begin a romantic/sexual relationship with someone, so most would say it's not noticable, but really, it's just not common. 

What you do see with Mita is that she doesn't like when people are privy to her thoughts and emotions. She is always in complete control of herself, and never does or says anything unless she specifically needs it to be seen or heard. But when she has a crush on someone, certain choices start to slip through her filter. She starts to indulge herself on small actions like lingering touches, or maybe she'll make smalltalk, or let someone into her space. She tends to do this and slowly start making bolder moves until either she's ready to confess, or her crush fizzles out.

Just to Note:

When you send a hc (headcanon) request, the goal of requesting such is to give writer elbow room to share their ideas on the matter. When you keep giving more detail to what you want in the hc request, and more specific, it comes off more as wanting a drabble/oneshot to cater more to you and could possibly leave other readers out of the loop.

This is really common, and there's nothing wrong with confusing hc and drabble/oneshot, but please keep in mind that my goal is to try and keep my hc posts as open as possible and have the right to either modify or decline your request. Is your askbox open for hc requests? Yes! My askbox is always open, and I answer the requests as I receive them (so time may vary to when I get to yours, depending on the character - please keep that in mind!)

Can you write me a drabble/oneshot? No, I do not do requested drabbles/oneshots. Some hc requests will look like a drabble/oneshot request to me, and I may deny it. You're totally allowed to revise or ask me another hc request, if so!

What can I request? Nearly anything! All I ask is that you try to keep your request gender neutral, or accept that I may modify your request to fit with all genders. I know in the past that I have done female-centric requests, but I'm trying very hard to include everyone in consideration that my fics are female-representing.

Can I request 18+ content? You may, but keep in mind that there are minors or those who are ace/aro/etc, and so requests that may be deemed at sexual or adult will be places in an {under cut} and left up to the reader to decide to proceed. Please also understand that some sexual content will be rejected, as there are some subjects that I am not comfortable thinking/writing about.

What can I NOT request? I'd say the main majority consist of: non-con/rape, dd/lg/lb, age-regression, a/b/o, adult-minor relationships (unless strictly platonic/mentor), breeding kink, beastiality, necrophilia, real people hc (actual actors), eating disorders, mental disorders (this does not include depression and anxiety), poly, threesome, cheating/adultery, abuse. Any gender, racial, sexuality, ethnicity, or religion discrimination is not allowed or tolerated, and will be blocked. There can be other things that I may not feel comfortable writing for, but anyone is allowed to ask/request it to me and I'll answer honestly.
