"Keeeeeenmaaaaaaa." You call your roommate out from the kitchen, hoping he hears you from his current stream.
Silence.
"Ugh." You growl and make your way to his streaming room.
First, he texts you to warm up the leftovers from last night instead of talking to you like a normal human being. Then he doesn’t answer you, even if he texted to call for him to tell him it’s ready.
Hearing him talk through the closed door, you open it a bit after knocking three times.
"One sec, roomie called. You can come in." Kenma looks over his shoulder, when he spots you, he turns around to tell his fans he’ll be afk for five minutes.
Now fully turning to you in his overly expensive gaming chair, you have his full attention.
"You texted me 10 minutes ago that you wanted the pasta heated up remember?" You lean against the door frame while crossing one leg over the other.
"Oh yeah, sorry about that. I’ll go and get it." The dyed blonde gets up slowly from his chair, bending his back a little bit, until he hears it crack.
Sighing deeply, he sets his cat-ear headset down, walking past you, dragging his legs like a zombie.
You watch him walk down the hallway towards the kitchen, when he rounds the corner you see his chat still being active, thankfully his Webcam is currently off.
Soon enough, you hear his light foot steps again and this time he has a bowl in his hand and he’s eating while walking.
"Don’t choke." You tease.
"I won’t." He mumbles while eating the noodles.
"Sooo… what are you playing?" You walk in a little bit with him in his room, watching as he sits down again.
"Wocket Leeg." He replies with his mouth full.
"Sounds fun." You lean over his shoulder as you watch and read over the chat.
All of sudden, you see a few names popping up that are mentioning your name, freaking out with excitement that they are hearing a female voice of the roommate of THE Kodzuken.
"They want you to say 'hi'." Finishing up his food, he turns to you with a gleam in his eyes, putting the headset back on.
Squishing your face against his, so you can talk into the mic, you greet his fans which causes a blow up in the chat, people being super hyped to hear you for the first time.
"So uh... what should I say?" You ask Kenma in an intriguing voice, reading the comments as they almost explode at hearing a female's voice and such a beautiful one at that.
"Just say anything, they seem to love you already more than me." Kenma laughs softly.
You laugh along with him, when a comment catches your eye.
spaceExplorer234: yo who dis? that your girlfriend?
Your cheeks begin to heat up in embarrassment and since your cheek is still smushed against his, he can feel the warmth and it makes him blush too.
"No, I am not his girlfriend. Just his roommate, occasionally his chef and also his maid, when he leaves his dirty socks lying around." You laugh and Kenma groans in embarrassment.
The chat explodes yet again, this time with lots of laughing gifs and people sending clapping hands emoji, calling you 'queen' and 'gaming wifey' after you revealed that you play games as well, just not on stream like your roommate.
Kenma drinks his diet coke, when he reads the message after you.
"'Gaming wifey'? That's kinda cute. Am I your gaming wifey?" You grin easily at him and he chokes on his soda.
BigDaddyTacobell420: I ship it!!!!!!!
You and Kenma both read that comment and you look at each other briefly before looking away quickly, an intense blush spread across both of your faces.
Thank goodness the chat can’t see your faces, they’d have a blast.
Coughing a bit, you tell Kenma you need to get back to your studies and he mumbles out a quiet okay.
Leaving the room, the dyed-blonde looks at your retreating figure, getting back to his game and talks to his chat again.
SnackMaster1652: Kodzuken if you don’t ask her out I will
"Well good luck trying to reach her. She doesn’t have any social accounts. But I plan to ask her out, I just hope she’ll say yes…" Kenma says with a big sigh, still calming his heart down from the person that said that they ship the two of you together.
Nonetheless, somehow Kenma got a good feeling that his chances are high.
And how right the former Setter was….
Four months later, Kenma is playing CS:GO on his keyboard, but this time he has a player two joining him.
Said Player Two is sitting in his lap, controlling the keyboard while Kenma controls the mouse.
"Go around the corner, no no the other one."
"Be more specific!"
"Go B."
"Okay."
You press the character to walk forward with his gun, changing the weapon to a sniper rifle.
"Babe, you have to plant the bomb you know?"
"Don’t tell me what to do, I am trying to survive here."
"We will survive by planting the bomb and then shooting off the other team."
"I don’t like conflicts…" You mumble as you get more comfortable in your boyfriend’s lap.
"Baby, I don’t know if you noticed but this is a shooter game. The whole point of playing it, IS to create conflict. We need to kill the other members." Kenma laughs.
"Yeah yeah."
It’s quiet for a few seconds until you spot an enemy of the opposite team and you scream as he starts shooting at you.
"Walk over behind the wall! Press S! Quickly!" Kenma yells and you yell back at him.
"I AM! STOP SCREAMING AT ME! I DON’T WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE!"
The enemy spots you again and immediately fires at you and kills you.
"This is your fault." You mumble after the defeat.
"How is this my fault?! You’re controlling the movement, I am just shooting!" Kenma says in bewilderment.
The stream is having a blast, the banter and the bickering between the two of you always make the viewers laugh and comment at the behavior of you and Kenma like an old married couple.

No way rios precious daughters aren’t all daddy’s girls(much to y/n’s dismay)
Yes! You love seeing how he is with them. I’m picturing at least three girls. He’s outnumbered and deals with different personalities/age ranges.
Your oldest is almost a preteen and already boy crazy. In fact all three of them have their own little crushes at the moment.
Daddy, how old do I have to be before I can start dating? Your smile grows wide, as Rio’s eyes damn near pop out. He hears you snicker and mugs you. Shrugging your shoulders you join in, “Yes, daddy? How old does our sweet girl have to be,” you question smirking. “You have your whole life to worry about boys, darlin’. Focus on those books.” Your daughter huffs, “so basically never?” Rio chuckles, “I knew you were smart.” She huffs and walks away. You kiss your teeth, “you can’t stop her from growing up, Rio.” He gripes back, “I’m not.” Rolling your eyes, you finish, “hold on too tight, and we’ll be grandparents by the time she’s sixteen.” Rio gets the last word, “she’ll be a single mother then. Baby daddy won’t be here long enough to experience fatherhood. The OG got little baby though. Grandfathers make good father figures, do they not,” he smirks.
The middle child is your wild child. She’s big on loyalty and loves protecting her family/friends. Sound familiar? Little Rio in the making. The last parent/teacher conference ended in disaster. Things started off great. She was getting good grades and very respectful. However, she was having a bit of trouble keeping her hands to herself. “So you’re saying my child runs around hitting people on purpose,” you questioned her teacher. All set to apologize for her behavior. You were surprised when the teacher said, “not exactly.” The two of you looked at her, waiting for an explanation. “She tends to be very protective over her friends. Y/C/N has gotten into several fights. We have a zero tolerance policy. No matter who instigates, both children are disciplined.” Rio chuckled sarcastically, “let me get this straight, teach. My daughter’s getting reprimanded for defending people. Is that what you’re telling me, darlin’?” Your husband proceeded to tell the teacher where she could shove her zero tolerance policy. Trying not to laugh in her face, you practically had to drag Rio out of the classroom. Needless to say baby girl had to switch schools.
Then there is your sweet little baby girl. She’s a hustler like daddy. Knows how to sweet talk her way out of trouble. She’s so damn adorable that she has everyone wrapped around her finger. Including her sisters and especially daddy. The two of you had just gotten into it. All thanks to the little finesse queen herself. It started when she asked to watch YouTube on her iPad. “Momma, can I watched Paw Patrol on my pie-pad,” she asked batting her lashes innocently. She knew the answer, but dared to ask anyway. Momma wasn’t falling for that cute little baby face today. “Absolutely not. Remember the conversation we had last night? I told you no iPad today.” Your daughter tried getting you in your feels with a pout and lip quiver. “But, mommyyy.” You replied, “Don’t mommy me, little girl. You did this to yourself. I told you to turn that iPad off and go to bed last night. What did you do? Waited for me to leave and got right back on it. Then had the nerve to play like you were sleeping, when I came to take it from you.” Knowing you were right, she did what any good finesse Queen would do. She waited for you to busy yourself with cooking. Twenty minutes later, the food was ready. You called the girls to the table. “Where’s your baby sister? She’s ignoring me cause she mad, huh?” Your eldest informed you she was with Rio in his office. Supposedly she went in there to color while he got work done. It was cap and you knew it. Heading to his home office to retrieve them both for dinner. You weren’t shocked when you found little shady boots. There she was chilling in her daddy’s lap watching cartoons on his iPad. “Now you know good and well she’s not suppose to be on that. I don’t care if it’s yours, Christopher. No iPad includes anyone else’s. Just for that, neither one of you get dessert. Matter of fact since y’all besties and all. Sleepover in baby girl’s room. Daddy’s going to be sleeping on your floor! Yay!” You cut your eyes at Rio, turning to head back to the kitchen. You grumbled over your shoulder, “dinner is ready come and eat.”
Then there is you. Although you love being a momma to three beautiful girls. Your heart craves more children. “Rio let’s have one more baby.” He looks at you, trying to hold back a smile. “We got a house full already, mama. You sure you want another one?” You reply, “Yes! I want a little boy. You got your daddy’s girls. I want a momma’s boy.” Chuckling, Rio teases, “you feeling left out, mama? Don’t daddy always make time for you?” You tilt your head to the side, crossing your arms. “Boy, stop! I just want another baby. Nobody feeling left out. Come on let’s try for a boy. Please, daddy,” you beg in a baby voice. “You got a mama’s boy. What about Marcus, darlin’?” Your lips poke out, arms still crossed. “I don’t get to keep Marcus though. I have to share him with his momma,” you giggle. Moving closer to him, you wrap your arms around Rio. Standing on your toes, you leave kisses along the side of his neck. Kissing up to his ear, you whisper, “pretty please, daddy? Think of all the fun we could have trying to conceive.” Rio looks around the house, “everybody’s at a sleepover right?” You nod your head yes. “Bring your fine ass on,” Rio groans, dragging you toward the bedroom.
Sorry if this was a bit long. I kind of just ran with it. Hope you like it! I don’t usually do HC’s 😆.

- kinda want a flashback of how she got down from the burning tower ngl
- SHES NOT READY TO DIE AND THEYRE GONNS KILL HER ANYESY FTWD WRITERS PLS LEAVE NOW
- her friend is strand aka alicias friend already this is all so obvious and pointless I hate that this delusional alicia is the last we’re gonna get she’s such an amazing character and deserves so much better ksjjdjdj
- *chanels anger and grief and emotions into keyboard smashes* jsjdjdjjdjdj
- the slo-mo of her almost fainting again djjdjfj
- her grabbing her head and looking broken and done with herself so much owch
- strand is her family when rlly madison her actual mother is coming back next ep and shes already gonna be dead
- oop she fainted. Again again.
- and ofc the kid fainted too cause they’re the same duh
- she actually can’t stand and walk and breath at the same time
- the bird cgi is so bad I could cry
- Strand where u at come comfort alicia already
- he’s gonna be drunk asf
- oh guess what he’s drunk asf
- i mean at least alycia got to film some of her last scenes with bestie colman
- she’s got survivors guilt
- ‘making what she gave us mean something. to do what she didn’t get to.’ Well screw that cause she’s still gonna get to and alicias last years are gonna be for literally nothing
- ‘it’s not fair’
- SHES HOLDING A GUN TO HER OWN HESD AND CRYING AND SAYING SORRY THAT IS NOT IK LEAVE HER SKINE
- FLASHBACKS TO ALL HER FRIENDS STOP AND WHEN SHE WAS HAPPY
- IF SHE PULKS THE TRIGGER ISTG
- oop the bird pulled to the window so she’ll be fine it’s all g
- the madison flashbacks are unnecessary
- They’re undermining Alicia’s entire story because they’re bringing madison back instead and I hate it
- it they’re gonna do both they can do it in a way that brings both characters justice
- the reveal that it was alicia all along i wonder who called it oh yeah that’s right me 🙄
- THIS WHOLE EP HAS BEEN SO UNDERWHELMING AND POINTLESS I WOULDVE PREFFERED HER TO TURN IN HER SLEEP OR GO OUT ON THE BOATS WITH HER FRIENDS AND KNOW SHES DONE SOMETHING RIGHT
- the idea that she hasn’t lost her inner child didn’t involve needing an actual child it could just be her staying rational and sticking to her true values- literally the opposite of everything the writers have done
- i hate ftwd why are they doing this
- stop with the madison referenced we literally all know she’s coming back just give alicia a respectful ending omfg
- cut to them carrying her again
- wow called it again
- IF THATS THE END IM FUCKING MAD
- ok its not the end
- they’re not gonna tell us what she said why???? literally why is any of this happening??? none of the characters are getting development of closure??
- at least charlie saw a beach the single redeemable thing about this episode
- and alicia got thanked that’s good
- luciana wanting to go in the raft with her go bestie
- strand taking initiative and going as well that would have been such a better ending
- this episode has been so not-alicia and i genuinely hate it
- strand would knock her out and put her in the boat not just paddle the fuck away
- and now alicias final act is giving strand closure when she deserves the love
- ok she got 1 (ONE) teary smile and that was it
- her little wave is depressing asf but she adorable
- AND SHE FUCKING COLLAPSED WITH THE GUN IN HER HAND WHAT-
- the bird flying above her-
- she’s awake and not sweaty is this meant to be heaven? im confused
- drink that water gal
- no fever slay
- little alicia not a slay she can go away pls
- ok the bite marks gone and she’s safe now I didn’t need little alicia for that
- SHE COULD HAVE GONE ON THE BOATS WITH EVERYONE CAUSE SHES FINE AND SURVIVED THE BITE FUCK-
- DID THEY EVEN LEAVE HER A RAFT??
- ok got another smile which was stupid in the context but ill take it
- ‘I feel like myself’ yeah well the ftwd writers clearly haven’t been watching the past 6 seasons cause shes not acting like herself
- so they’re just gonna end with her walking off into the supposedly uninhabitable land and leave it like that??
- only good symbolic bit all ep was the very very end when she shot the walker with the last bullet she had saved for herself
- at least she’s not dead so I can make canon-compliment fix-it fics in my head
- pulled an althea not dead but potential chance to come back into the series even tho it will probably never happen???
- overall a pretty shit episode did even get close to the justice and farewell alicia deserves but at least she’s alive and alycia acknowledged how much love she had for the character and support she felt from the fans so there’s that I guess
- ftwd is dead to me but alicia will live on in my heart forever 🫶

Dying Starlight
A/n: i dont think an audience for this exists?? ik it’s not shadow and bone related, but ive been reading red queen and i wanted to try writing maven and ive been playing with this idea. umm...on the off-chance that there is an audience for this i do think of this as more of a series but i’ll probably end up deleting this lol
(Series?) Summary: reader is a childhood friend of Mare’s who isn’t officially part of the Scarlet Guard but gets captured by Maven. As a prisoner, she feels like her mind is being messed with as she begins to see a more human side of Maven. The new King tells himself the only thing he sees in her is that she’s a way to get to Mare, but something about her genuiness is infectious.
--
Irony twists things. Right now, the irony that my last thoughts might be about how I wish I had been trusted with a suicide pill twist my impending doom into something almost comical. I’d laugh, but I’d rather not startle the rats in my cell. This has been their home for presumably years, but I’ve only been down here a few hours.
I scratch the back of my wrist, staring at tired stone walls like they’ve done something to me. I wish I knew what time it was. How long have I been down here? How long has it been since I was separated from Mare? An hour? Three?Each passing minute strikes me like a bullet, but I can’t count them. I’ve never had a talent for accurately feeling the passage of time.
My head aches, frustration and dread tangling themselves in the pit of my stomach. Mare told me the Queen can search through someone’s mind, seeing memories even they can’t remember. What will they do when they see I know virtually nothing? What will happen when they see how close Mare and I truly are? i can’t do anything and the unknown hurts more than my bruised rib.
The sound of the heavy door that divides the luxury of the castle from the wasteland of the cells creaks. I only let my arms flinch, moving from my side to wrap defensively around my stomach. Dull footsteps echo down the pathway that lead to the cell I’m in. I don’t cringe, not even when the sound of walking stops.
I was not born into a rich family, but I was born into a proud one. Fear was practically a criminal act in my household. I’ve been trained to suppress all signs of weakness. My eyes don’t leave the stone wall, I mentally trace the pattern of a long crack in a specific rock. It reminds me of the slope of the Big Dipper.
Will I ever see stars again? The answer leaves a sharp pain in my chest.
“Mare told me about you.”
The words jar me, my stomach dropping in revulsion. Mare had trusted him, and here he stands--successful because he’s a traitor. I know what it’s like to be the most overlooked sibling and to crave to change that. I know what it’s like to want to succeed more than you want air in your lungs, but I don’t think I’d ever betray someone. I like to think that there’s a line even the monster in me won’t cross.
I don’t look at him, partially out of an attempt to protest and partially because I’m afraid of what I’ll see. “She might have mentioned you in passing.”
His scoff is ridiculous. “She didn’t lie about your sense of humor.”
That almost makes me wince. His words are too close, too personal. It’s like he knows me. I turn my. head, ready to cut through the uneasy beginning to get to the miserable middle if it brings me to the end faster.
“You’re here to torment me, not make small talk.” Turning had been a mistake. I regret it instantly. His expression is unforgiving--cold, sharp, and made up of only angles. But that’s not why I stare. I did not expect him to be objectively attractive. The fine slope of his nose, the sharpness of his cheekbones, and the ice blue of his eyes. I need to snap out of this mindset. I’m sure his beauty will not be so distracting when he’s burning me. “Though some might consider that the same thing.”
He scoffs again, the sound dry. The sneer of his lips does not diminish his attractiveness. The fact makes me loathe him. “I wonder if you’ll still be so prone to humor after you’ve been broken--any information of worth extracted from your thoughts.”
“Let me save everyone the trouble and just tell you everything that I know now.” My back straightens despite the pain in my ribs. I look pathetic, dirty and in a torn dress. He’s regal, dressed in fine, all black clothing. “I know that Mare wanted to kill you today, I know that she needed a distraction and that her distraction needed to be expendable, which is why I’m sitting in front of you.” I squeeze my hands together awkwardly, a bit of genuine irritation rolling in my stomach. “That’s literally all I know, I’m not even part of the Guard.” I scratch the back of my wrist. If I were him, I wouldn’t believe that, but I’m being honest. How pitiful can one person be that they’re worth more disconnected from the group they work for than as an actual member? “You don’t take that kind of risk for someone that’s only skill set is in thought.”
I didn’t mean to say that out loud, but I don’t regret it. Maybe he’ll think that my story is so pathetic it has to be true. “You have to know more than that.”
“The Scarlet Guard only reaches out to me on a need-to-know basis, and anything worthwhile to you is something I clearly didn’t need to know.” In a way, I’m glad I can’t give him anything. “So are you going to kill me with a bullet or do you prefer more flamboyant executions?” My death should be plain. I am human completely--I bleed red and I have no powers. “I do think anything more than a simple death is more trouble than I’m worth.”
His lips press together oddly, something beneath his expression tightening. “You don’t think your dearest friend will return for you?”
The sarcasm in his voice sparks something in me I thought only my sister could. “I think she has a lot of responsibilities and I wouldn’t blame her for having priorities.”
His eyebrows draw together. “I think you’re painfully unaware of how attached to you she is.” I press my lips into a thin line. “She’ll come for you.”
Something selfish in me hopes that he’s right. No one has ever wanted me enough to come back for me. My mother wanted perfect daughters that knew how to only think in terms of trapping men with stable careers. My sister did it, but I could never manage, and to my mother that made me useless.
“If you believe it,” I mumble beneath my breath.
I don’t know if he hears me. I can’t bring myself to care if he did. “For your sake, you better not have lied to me.”
My back relaxes against the raspy wall, fighting down a grimace as the motion irritates my rib injury. “Cross my heart, Your Highness.”
I watch him carefully, his expression turning into something much more grim. “A King is referred to as His Majesty.”
“My father was a prominent war general and my mother only wanted daughters she could use to social climb.” I fight down a grin. “I know what I said.”
His expression darkens into something bone chilling. “I am the King and you’ll refer to me as such or deal with even less pleasant circumstances.”
I fight against the urge to cower, picturing Mare’s strength in my veins. There’s weakness in everyone, and if I squint I can see the thin cracks in him. “You have everything--the crown, the power, the support of the people, and it’s still not enough. You won and you still feel like you’re competing.”
“You don’t know anything,” he seethes, practically growling.
I shouldn’t press him, but the more he reacts, the more weaknesses are revealed. “I know what it’s like to have a sibling that’s the sun, and no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you’re always trapped in a shadow.”
The lighting makes his eyes look almost glazed over. “My mother will be here soon and the truth will be revealed.”
He can run from me, but not the truth. Cal has nothing, he has everything--the father that never cared for him is dead, and yet he’s still trapped. Our similarities hurt me more than my physical injuries.
Maven turns, his gaze moving off of me feels like the removal of heavy shackles. “It would do you well to not press me. You’re worth as much whole as you are broken.”
There’s the strangest hint of something more to his voice. I wonder if he’s speaking to more than just me. “You haven’t won until that voice in your head telling you that you’re not enough is silenced.”
“You’re a powerless girl who isn’t even wanted by a dying cause and couldn’t find a husband to drag her above the poverty line. You know nothing about me, and if you keep pretending I’ll slaughter you in front of your dear friend.”
He leaves without another word. I fall asleep with my back against the wall and my ribs aching.

Please do hellsing ladies pegging a fem! S/o
Seras:
This sweet baby would need some encouragement
You’ll have to walk her through it
She gets the concept, and she’s thought about it before, but when it actually comes down to it she’s intimidated
She’ll want to start off small, even if you prefer something a little larger
The whole time she’ll be checking on you
“Oh my god! Are you alright?” She’ll ask any time you make a loud noise
Her own pleasure takes the back seat to your safety
Give her time and she’ll start to embrace it
Once she learns what you can and can’t handle she’ll be a little more willing to play rough
She’ll want to get cute harnesses and dildos
“Y/N! This one is sparkly!”
Give her praise and she’ll get all shy and blushy
“Did I really do that good?”
It encourages her to try more
For you, she’d do just about anything
Rip:
She’s a little too enthusiastic
She’s got a sadistic side to her, watch out
When she finds out you want to try it, she gets so excited that she ends up taking things a little too far, bringing out a dildo too big for you or going too fast
All you have to do is say the safe word and she’ll stop
“Oh dear, I’m so sorry y/n. Here, let me get you an ice pack.”
Work with her and she’ll have your toes curling
Communication is key, if you tell her something’s too big she’ll work with you, if you tell her to slow down she will
She can be a little shit sometimes, pushing your boundaries, but she would never do anything to hurt you
Any dildos she buys will be the specialty kind
They can’t just be normal dick looking ones, no she wants tentacles and bumps and spikes
“Please Y/N. Just look at the cute little ridges.”
She likes to dirty talk too
“You like how I fuck you don’t you?”

Pegging Queen right here
She is ready to go
This woman right here has everything you could ever need
She’s got one of every kind of dildo you can think of, even the expensive ones
Is absolutely the type to have stuff custom made
Her harness has her name on it
She loves to peg you over her desk, pressing your face against the wood
She’s talented too, knowing just how to move her hips to make you shake
She also does not care about anyone seeing or hearing what you’re doing
“Louder Y/N, I want your screams to wake the dead.”
She’s going to encourage you to take bigger and bigger
“Come on, I’m sure I can stretch you a little further.”
It’s partially because it boosts her ego, and partially because she likes to watch your hole stretch around something
She’ll even have some that vibrate
Those in particular will leave you clinging to her desk for dear life
The praises afterward are the best part
She loves to run her hand lovingly along your cheek and tell you how good you did

Cassandra x Maiden----Anonymity Ch.3
Chapter 1 Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Your quiet days in castle Dimitrescu met their end the moment Cassandra took an interest in you.
You should have known. Perhaps you did know and just didn’t want to admit it.
The woman –vampire, mutant, what even are they— is a bipolar sadist.
One night she may be walking down the halls sending you a sexy wink under her hood as she passes you by, the next she could show up out of nowhere and cut you ‘hello’ with her sickle, scoop up the blood with her thumb to taste, then disappear again. The evening after that, she may not even give a damn about you, may not spare you a single fleeting glance, like even the notion you could be worth her time is laughable.
And it is, isn’t it.
Humans are nothing to them. Your significance is below that of a pet. You may as well be livestock. It doesn’t matter, though, so long as you continue to breathe and remain intact. They’re the two essential factors to escaping. All else is secondary.
It doesn’t matter how Cassandra views you.
You don’t even like her.
What is there to even be drawn to? She’s covered in blood more often than not. The scent of iron usually drowns out her perfume. She’s capricious and cruel and the living personification of an unsheathed knife. You prefer your routes safer. Playful, creative pretty girls that are good for you and most importantly, sane.
Whatever weird tricks your brain and hormones are playing where she stars –you hate it, what is wrong with you— they’re just delusions, you reason, born from her questionable flirting and your time in captivity. It’s just a really bothersome case of Stockholm Syndrome you’re developing. And it has to stop.
Another week passes. You don’t see her.
You are on another night shift when you hear the telltale buzzing of insects down the corridor. Hervoice reaches your ear afterwards;
“Ugh, Bela, you never complain about anything. It’s so annoying.” Two pairs of heels steadily tap towards you.
“I leave it to you and Dani to cover for me, since you complain about everything.” The quieter sister drawls. You can easily picture her roll her eyes as she says it.
“You know, you really should sound more thankful I came with you in this unearthly cold.”
“I gave you the option not to—”
“Just to have you rummage through that bookshop for what was definitely the most boring twenty minutes of my life.” Cassandra continues.
From the fleeting glance you steal at them, the entirety of her attention is on Bela. You don’t think she’ll notice you as you continue polishing the corridor’s decorations. It’s just another one of these nights where you don’t exist and you’re deeply glad for it. Not just for yourself, but also the other maids.
“I thought I was going to die of frostbite.” she growls, shaking the elder sister’s arm.
“Technically, you can’t.” Bela shakes hers back.
It would be… cute, if they were any normal family. But you are quick to remind yourself of what they really are. Devils in human form. Monsters that took you from your home and trapped you here, to clean after their mess, with the threat of death looming over your head every second.
Their steps pass you by. You can almost breathe normally again, when—
Cassandra stops.
“Not even going to tell me hello?” The hurt in her voice can’t be genuine, you tell yourself as you turn around to face her. She’s closer than you thought, enough for you to be able to make out the tiny melting snowflakes caught in her long lashes.
“Um—hello.” you say, awkwardly.
“Cassandra.” Bela lets out a soft sigh.
“Bye, Bela.” The brunette pointedly speaks over her shoulder.
And to your horror… “Just keep in mind what mother said about the maids.” the eldest sister leaves you alone with her.
Each further step until the blonde disappears from view fills you with dread. Cassandra has that spark in her eye that you’ve learned to not associate with anything good. She’s completely still until she’s sure the two of you won’t be overheard or interrupted.
Then, she moves.
Her hands all too easily shove you against the wall. It’s more startling than painful, you realize, when your back doesn’t protest much at the collision.
Cassandra maintains eye contact with you as she tugs at the fingers of her gloves. You cannot fathom why it looks that sexy, the way she pulls them off, whether it is intentional or not.
“Plaything.” she says. Another new nickname for you. Not that you ever expected her to care to know your name. “I’m terribly cold.” she doesn’t seem to be lying, though the soft pout that curves her mouth is surely for effect.
It’s a test and your wellbeing depends on it.
Only, you have no idea what you’re supposed to do. Ruling your nerves under control, you decide to start slow. “Shall I light the fireplace in your room, my lady?”
“Maybe I want something more… immediate.” she replies, raising her hand to your neck.
The second her freezing skin touches your flesh, you cannot help but flinch. It feels like a slightly softer block of ice. Cassandra’s eyes creak at the corners. Of course, the sadist is enjoying your torment. Slowly, her fingers move under the collar of your black button-up shirt, which only makes it worse. The cold spreads, a peculiar tingle at your stomach with it.
“Well?” she asks. You get the memo that just sitting back and letting her have her way isn’t going to work, this time. You call upon all the willpower you possess and act.
Carefully, your hands rise to meet her own. You aren’t looking at her in the eyes –you don’t think you could— as your fingers wrap around hers and bring them in front of you, close to your body, warmed from hours of work. Instead, your gaze locks on the golden jewel decorating the chocker at her throat, before falling down, to your point of contact.
It is not the first time you see her hands without gloves on, but it only now hits you just how dainty they look. Her nails, filed round, are dyed a darker shade of crimson, stark against the white of her skin. There isn’t a single blemish or uneven spot you can feel on her palm. It is a princess’ hand you seem to be holding, not a killer’s.
But appearances can be deceiving.
The very corner of Cassandra’s lip curls up, amused or pleased or both. She then reaches forward, at the lowest clasped button of your shirt… and frees it open. You’re sure you aren’t breathing. Two more buttons are released. Her fingers, at least now considerably warmer, splay against your stomach. Something inside you quivers like a flickering candlefire.
You don’t want her touch.
But a traitorous, weak part of you has already decided that it does.
“You work out?” it is merely a whisper between you. She presses a little closer, entirely unashamed to be feeling the contours of your middle up while you’re burning with embarrassment.
“…probably the days of working in the fields.” you say, voice low because it cannot be trusted any higher. She’s doing a little thing with her thumb over your skin that you desperately want to deny turns you on.
Thanks to her you’re now freezing and burning at the same time.
Cassandra just stays like that for a few more seconds.
“Draw me a hot bath.” she eventually orders and extracts herself from you as if she’s not remotely happy with her own decision.
-
-
You don’t really know how she likes her bath and she doesn’t tell you.
All you can do as you test the water on your hand is pray. Your mind isn’t really working right after the touching at the hallway, but your survival instincts are strong still. Strong enough to remind you that Cassandra likes to be treated like royalty above all, so bubbles are your best friend in this. The more, the merrier.
The Dimitrescu daughter does not ask if the bath is ready when she comes in. You aren’t used to her being so silent, so you turn to see if something is wrong –but immediately regret it when the heavy robe clinging to her body drops down. The only glimpse you catch is of the fabric pooling at her feet like a shadow.
Your eyes stay glued on the queen-sized bathtub, even when she approaches. They turn to the side as she enters it.
You want to ask if the water is fine, but you can’t find your voice. You lose even your train of thought when she lets out a small hiss as she sinks in, replaced by a moan once she’s completely settled back, neck tilted and eyes closed in bliss. The polite thing is to let her bathe in peace, so you move to do just that.
Cassandra has other plans.
Her hand shoots out of the tub to wrap around your wrist, inescapable as an iron shackle. Those intense yellowish eyes are on you again and they seem to be glowing under the dim lights.
“No.” she says. “Massage. Now.”
Ah, great. You think. You’ve spoiled her. But if giving Cassandra massages is what is going to keep your hands attached to your body, you won’t complain. It’s just that… you can’t really focus right now. None of your thoughts are right or remotely what they should be. You need time off from her, rather than touching her.
Thankfully, the moans are kept to a minimum and there is no teasing. She is utterly relaxed, only giving the occasional command for higher or lower. It does kind of kill you when at one point she whispers “Right there.” but you are able to move past it.
You leave fresh towels beside her when you’re finally allowed to leave. Back in her bedroom, you light the fireplace in a way that you make sure will last through the day, while she’ll be asleep. The plan is to leave before she returns, but she’s already there by the time you’re finished with the preparations.
And –you’re trapped.
Because, again, she’s changing and you have to look away to preserve your sanity and probably your eyes. “No peeping, now.” she calls over her shoulder. You know better than to dare.
You keep your hands busy arranging bottles and boxes at her vanity until she’s done. Cassandra does that ‘flashing’ thing where she’s on one side of the room one moment and right behind you the next. You only then notice a little insect flying back into her form. It was spying on you.
“You didn’t even look near me, huh.” she says it like ‘congratulations, you passed’, but there’s a bitter undertone of disappointment in her voice.
She’s only feeling down that you didn’t give her an excuse to slice at your face, you think. Then again, does she really need one?
“I wouldn’t, my lady.” you assure. “If I may be excused—”
“Did I say you can go?” she turns you around, none-too-gently, her hands on your biceps tight. You’re effectively pinned against her and the vanity, but you have much bigger problems to worry about, when you take in what she’s wearing.
Cassandra is clad in a flimsy nightrobe that leaves little to the imagination, the fabric nearly see-through. You can see the edges of her lacy underwear underneath it, how nicely it sits against her perfect curves. To make matters even worse, the robe ends at about mid-thigh and your eye catches the expanse of creamy skin on display.
Your brain nearly melts.
“I don’t know what it is about you, plaything, but you’re working up my appetite.” she confesses, pressing into you, pressing you harder into the furniture. You try to think of literally anything else than how well her thigh is slotted between your legs.
If you’re supposed to look away from her lidded eyes, however, you can’t. And if you’re not supposed to feel the echo of her nails on your arm all the way down to your center, you can’t. You are definitely not supposed to be so achingly curious about her bow-shaped lips. But you just can’t.
“You’re working me up.” she breathes, so close you can feel the ghost of her lower lip on yours.
And then –her mouth is on you and you forget how to breathe. Your eyes close and just feel, instead. If this is how you die, maybe it isn’t such a bad way to go. It’s been too long since you kissed anyone, seems like ages ago now, but you gradually remember how to move once you allow your muscles to unlock.
Not looking at her makes it easier. Her lips are balmy and smooth and slide so good on your own you can’t think at all, much less of what she’s capable of. You would have guessed her to be aggressive, but Cassandra is oddly hesitant, the only thing hard about her being her grip.
You’re not sure what you’re doing or how you get so bold, but your hands trail up to her waist and pull her in. The little hitch in her breath threatens to break you. It provides the perfect opening to part her lips with your tongue. As soon as it touches hers, she moans low in her throat and slowly drags her hips against your thigh.
Oh. God.
There’s a hollow ache in your stomach. You’re shamefully wet for her. The voice of reason is mute in your head, until you’re forced to break your liplock to breathe and it only then hits you what you’ve just done.
Cassandra’s lips are insistent on your jawline, on the vulnerable spot under your ear. Her open-mouthed kisses are just hard enough, at first, but then start to border on painful. Your heart skips a beat when you feel the press of teeth, yet she rips herself off of you before she bites down.
“Ugh. I’m… so thirsty.” she says it lightly, but her voice is hoarse and something about her body language gives you the impression she’s hurting. “You should leave. Fast.”
You almost make the mistake of reaching for her. Almost.
Cassandra turns away from the temptation of your veins.
For both your sakes –mostly for yours— you hurry out of her room and never stop to look back.

Spoilers for the Exandria Unlimited finale
Of all the ways that Orym had imagined a member of their group falling to the siren call of the circlet, Opal using its power to save her sister had been very low on his list. Now, he was faced with the reality of just that as he watched her transformed face through the flickering flames of their campfire.
He had been prepared to deal with Dorian, with Fearne, even with Dariax, had any of them made a move for the circlet—but Opal? This was a possibility that he wasn’t quite sure he had a plan for.
When he’d joined up with the group, he hadn’t even dreamed that Opal would become his closest friend of the five. She was young, somewhat brash, a bit disagreeable. She could be cutting with her words in the way of the absolutely young and immortal. She was full of false bravado and faked confidence, hiding all the while that she was just a nineteen-year-old human girl who loved so desperately.
Now she wore the circlet, and Orym feared he’d lost the most valuable friendship he’d found since leaving home, since losing—
“Nancy!”
Opal appeared next to him all at once, startling him out of his maudlin thoughts. “You look sad. Are you ok?”
Orym glanced around the fire at the others, realizing that the group had begun settling in for sleep while he’d been mulling over the circlet. Dariax and Dorian were curled up together off to one side, murmuring back and forth in soft voices. Orym flashed to a similar memory of his own, of sharing soft truths under the safety of darkness. He was happy for them, but he also couldn’t watch them for long without it becoming too much. Fearne was on the other side of the fire, sitting in the spot that Opal had vacated and playing with Little Mister. Although she pretended that she wasn’t paying attention to himself and Opal, Orym caught the way one ear flicked in their direction.
He loved these ridiculous people, so much.
“Nancy!” Opal said again. She reached across him to tug at his wrist, turning him towards her. The moment their eyes met, she assumed a serious expression. “Daughter. Tell me your troubles.” The effect was ruined a moment later as she giggled.
Orym felt slightly nauseated just being near her. He wanted to blame his anxiety, but he suspected it had far more to do with the circlet she wore.
“I’m worried,” he said at last, barely above a whisper.
“You’re always worried,” Opal told him, her eyes wide and guileless. It was hard to reconcile the young woman in front of him now with the dark specter who had murdered Myr’atta Niselor without a second thought. It was less the murder itself that truly troubled Orym and more the fact that it had been done with the power of the circlet.
“I’m worried a bit more than usual,” Orym confessed. “I think we should still try to remove that.”
Opal’s hands reflexively went to the circlet at her brow. She looked thoughtful, a rare enough state for Opal that Orym let her take a moment to gather her thoughts. “I told the Spider Bitch that I didn’t want power,” she said at last. “I meant it. I just wanted to help Ted.”
“I know,” Orym told her. And oh, didn’t he know that feeling so well, that all-encompassing love that meant he’d do anything for one person? But Orym’s person was lost, no matter how hard he’d tried to protect him. The least he could do was protect this new family of his with the same ferocity.
Even for him, Orym wasn’t sure he would have put on the circlet. He also wasn’t sure how he felt about that fact.
“I think it’s ok,” Opal continued. “She’s in my head, but she mostly seems annoyed at me. She called me off-putting.” She seemed comforted by this fact, as though the spider queen’s distaste could save her from the dark fate of becoming her Champion. Perhaps it could. Orym knew little of gods and magic, other than the bit he’d learnt at Keyleth’s side.
“I’m afraid that she’ll wait,” Orym said. “That she’ll be ready for a moment of weakness. You don’t crave it now, but it is the way of all of us to want power when we feel most powerless.”
Opal shook her head. “Nancy, my little pessimist,” she said fondly, leaning over to press an affectionate, motherly kiss against his forehead. “Nothing will make me feel more powerless than watching Ted be turned into a monster in front of me.”
“I’m actually an optimist,” Orym objected.
Opal laughed; he wasn’t sure how he felt about that, either. Maybe she was right. Perhaps he had changed after the events of the past few months. But he still looked at the dawn and saw potential; he still took in the world around him and found beauty and wonder. He had lost everything and maintained that; was that not the true root of optimism?
A little justified worry about a dangerous vestige of the Divergence hardly changed that.
“Just be careful, okay?” he said. “If you start feeling yourself change because of it…if you ever feel tempted to use it…”
Opal took both of his hands in hers, turning completely in his direction and regarding him with utmost solemnity. “You’ll be the first person I’ll tell if it starts to be too much,” she promised before amending, “well, probably the second. The first would be Ted.”
This time, Orym was the one who laughed. “You think you two will stop arguing long enough to discuss the circlet?” he teased.
Opal frowned at him in mock-offense. “Excuse you! Ted and I have a complicated relationship!” She laughed. “You might be right though.”
Orym wasn’t sure he felt comforted, exactly, by Opal’s reassurance. It would take long months of watching her continually fight back the spider queen’s influence, using the circlet only on the behalf of others and presenting a joint force with Ted to stand against the corruption, before Orym would truly begin to believe that perhaps, this young human woman could wield the circlet in relative safety.
“Fearne’s taking first watch,” Opal said. “You should get some sleep.” She squeezed their joint hands. “I promise the circlet isn’t going to change me, Nancy. You’re not going to lose me.”
He’d already lost so much, but he had to try to believe she was right, at least until time proved otherwise. He nodded.
“And if it does start to change you, we’ll be here to stop it,” he said with a confidence he didn’t quite feel. It was worth it for the small smile that Opal gave him, her expression so young and vulnerable that his heart ached on her behalf.
“Good night,” Opal whispered, releasing his hands and getting to her feet. She made her way back to her own bedroll and curled up into it, murmuring something to Fearne as she prepared for sleep.
Orym went through the motions of getting ready to rest, laying in his own bedroll and closing his eyes.
He never stopped thinking about the circlet.

CATALYST 13 points noun: a person or thing that precipitates an event or change
When Najwa Bakri walks into her first Scrabble competition since her best friend’s death, it’s with the intention to heal and move on with her life. Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea to choose the very same competition where said best friend, Trina Low, died. It might be even though Najwa’s trying to change, she’s not ready to give up Trina just yet.
But the same can’t be said for all the other competitors. With Trina, the Scrabble Queen herself, gone, the throne is empty, and her friends are eager to be the next reigning champion. All’s fair in love and Scrabble, but all bets are off when Trina’s formerly inactive Instagram starts posting again, with cryptic messages suggesting that maybe Trina’s death wasn’t as straightforward as everyone thought. And maybe someone at the competition had something to do with it.
As secrets are revealed and the true colors of her friends are shown, it’s up to Najwa to find out who’s behind these mysterious posts—not just to save Trina’s memory, but to save herself. -- Cover image and summary via Goodreads

The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes Balzer & Bray

But at least here no one knows she's gay, and Yami intends to keep it that way. After being outed by her crush and ex-best friend, she could use the fresh start.
At Slayton Catholic, Yami has new priorities: make her mom proud, keep her brother out of trouble, and most importantly, don't fall in love. Granted, she's never been great at any of those things, but that’s a problem for Future Yami.
The thing is, it’s hard to fake being straight when Bo, the only openly queer girl at school, is so annoyingly perfect. And smart. And talented. And cute. Either way, Yami isn’t going to make the same mistake again. If word got back to her mom, she could face a lot worse than rejection. So she’ll have to start asking, WWSGD: What would a straight girl do?
Told in a captivating voice that is by turns hilarious, vulnerable, and searingly honest, The Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School explores the joys and heartaches of living your full truth out loud. -- Cover image and summary via Goodreads

Marinette Changes Schools: A funny little Lila salt prompt
So, there are a lot of ‘Marinette changes schools’ au’s and I love a whole bunch of them don't get me wrong. BUT the one thing I haven’t seen yet is Marinette changing schools not because of Lila or salt but simply because her parents are moving and they want her to attend a school close to home. So without further ado let me sell you on my little idea:
Lila has been plotting weeks worth of plans and lies, she’s thought up some sob stories about being stalked, about near death experiences, about celebrities that are like her family. She has plans for Marinette all the ways she could make the girl look bad and all the ways she could force Adrien to see her. That all goes out the window one day when she gets to school and it's a sob fest. There is a clear air of dread and dismay, the blue skies she saw on the way to school replaced with heavy storm clouds. And when she gets to class it's worse. Marinette and Alya are hugging and crying, Adrien looks like he's been shot, Nino and Kim are demanding to know ‘why’ even Chloe looks upset, her blue eyes a little glassy. Lila quickly learns why, Marinette’s parents' business is doing GREAT so great in fact that they have decided to open a second location! The twist? They also decided to move INTO the new location and with it being on the other side of Paris and her parents fears for their daughters safety that means Marinette is moving to a new school!
Now Lila doesn’t even have to school her face into a practiced expression of shock. She genuinely is shocked here she’d been planning months in advance picturing the ways she would destroy her rivals life and steal her friends! And now just like that Marinette is MOVING? Of course Lila quickly decides this is a good thing! After all if Marinette is out of the picture ruling the school will be that much easier. Sure Chloe might be queen bee but with Marinette gone people will be looking to replace her! In walks Lila Rossi, a gorgeous upstart model with a heart of gold and connections coming out of her bangs! She’d rule the school and Adrien would fall for her, then Marinette would probably come crawling back desperate for her old friends only to learn she’d snatched them all up! It was brilliant! And with Marinette gone she could probably do it in record time! So Lila covers up her smirk and says she’s devastated to hear that the twin tailed girl would be leaving and begins plotting.
In the month that follows Lila leaves Marinette alone letting her have her friends for what would be for the last time. After all if everyone still loved the designer when she left they’d be all the more eager to replace her with a new and better version. Of course just because Lila is playing nice doesn’t mean she enjoys it. Alya is practically glued to the girl and ignores Lila even when she’s not trying to sabotage Marinette. Adrien is acting like his life is ending and all anyone will talk about is Marinette. When she checks social media it's all just pictures of ‘old-great times with Marinette’ or new photos and videos of helping the girl pack up and move into her new room, which Lila seethes about for a week when she sees the photos of the spacious luxurious room with a private bath. Apparently the Dupain-Cheng’s new bakery was in a pretty ritzy rich neighborhood. During school Marinette is mobbed by a constant stream of people begging her to stay and when they accept that not happening they all at least beg her to ‘come back and visit’ Marinette promises and Lila has to hide her snort. Fat chance of that actually happening.
Finally the last day arrives and Lila has to hold back the urge to gag as everyone fills the nearby park giving Marinette gifts and heartfelt goodbyes. Adrien is the last one to offer his gift and Lila seethes as Marinette gingerly opens the box with a gasp and pulls out two brand new pink hair ribbons, and Adrien goes on to say that they’re made of imported silk! SILK, as if the little baker brat deserved silk! The whole exchange is cliche and romantic as Marinette removes her current hair ribbons to tie in the new ones and Adrien ties the old ones around his wrist like some idiot who doesn’t realize what a love struck longing look he's giving his ‘good friend’. But Lila just keeps reminding herself its just a bit longer and sure enough not long after the hideously gooey exchange between Adrien and Marinette is over the designer is leaving with more tears and farewells. FINALLY Lila thinks she can get back to what matters! Ruling her empire.
As it turns out ruling her empire is not what she thinks. For the first month after Marinette leaves all anyone will talk about is the photos she’s posted online. The first week its ALL about HER new school is a private well known academy with uniforms, and isn't Marinette cute in it? And look at her in her custom black kitty thigh highs? Lila wants to scream, but not as much as when she catches Adrien drooling over the photo of said thigh highs and twirling the old nasty hair ribbons around his wrist. The second week its all about the video tour of her new home and school that Marinette sent Alya. Lila glares the whole time as Alya puts the video on the projector at lunch so everyone can see the big new gorgeous bakery and the beautiful house on the second floor and her stupid big bedroom that should belong to someone like herself and not some bratty bakers daughter! By the third week Lila has had enough and fakes some nasty texts from Marinette hoping to speed up the process of helping her classmates move on to HERSELF. It backfires spectacularly with Alya going on the warpath to learn who would dare frame Marinette now that she’s gone. Lila is starting to realize that somehow Marinette has reached a higher level of popularity now that she’s gone. But she reminds herself it won't last forever that in ‘just a little bit longer’ everyone will forget the baker. Right?
A little bit longer. Never happens. Lila asks the girls to hang out that weekend with plans of winning them over with some juicy celeb story? Alya says they all already made plans to hope aboard the train to spend the whole weekend at Marinette’s new place! Lila tries to corner Adrien into a date after a photo shoot. He disappears and all she hears from the workers on set is that he's been looking up some new bakery on the other side of town. [Marinette is suddenly being visited by Chat Noir every other night but she figures she must have moved closer to where his civilian self lives if hes dropping by so much.] She tries to throw a party for the class? They can't. Marinette will be coming out to the park today! With her new school friends!
AH HA! Lila see’s opportunity and decides to tag along. After all if Marinette has new friends Lila can twist it! She’ll whisper about her replacing them all! Make them hate Marinette’s new friends! Fill them with jealousy till they hate Marinette! It's BRILLIANT! And, it fails in less than two minutes, with Alya learning about Aurore being a ballet dancer and the two girls bonding over their mutual love of DANCE?? How the heck was Lila supposed to know Alya had been a champion ballet dancer in her younger years! Then Nino is bonding with some kid named Allen or whatever about classical vs modern music and how to blend the two! And some kid named Claude is joking with Kim, Max, and Alix! And this is definitely not how things were supposed to go!
The worst part is Adrien, who is passive aggressively fighting for Marinette against Kagami AND Felix who are both all too eager to show how ‘close’ they’ve gotten to the baker's daughter while Adrien’s been across the city. Kagami is all to happy to show off that she ALSO bought Marinette some new silk hair ribbons [in a red shade that happens to match her fencing uniform] while Felix eagerly wisks Marinette away the moment Kagami and Adrien are distracted the two fencers find him openly flirting with an oblivious Marinette her hair down because ‘oh felix was nice enough to help me get some leaves out of my hair and said i should leave it like this!’ [while both Kagami and Adrien agree she looks beyond cute they know this means war.] Needless to say Lila didn’t realize that Marinette was that damn popular with men and woman.
The week after the meet up Lila is worn so thin she’s ready to snap. Not only did the class not get jealous but they actually became FRIENDS with all of Marinette’s new buddies and were planning many more meet ups including a paintball war over the baker girl that saturday. Adrien had taken to openly mumbling to himself about changing schools and how he ‘cant believe’ his own flesh and blood would so openly flirt with HIS very good friend! And what was with Kagami showing off how easily she can pick up and carry Marinette? And why did she invite Marinette to watch their next tournament! He needed to train, what if he lost?? In front of Marinette?! And then she thought he was too weak to keep her safe like all good friends are supposed to do! Clearly Kagami was trying to replace him as Marinette’s very good friend! Poor Nino who was sitting next to the boy had actually volunteered to switch with Lila but she came up with a lie to avoid it, she’d had enough of hearing about Marinette from Alya and Juleka and the rest of the girls, she didn’t also need to hear it from Adrien!
It all comes to a head that Saturday during the paintball tournament when Lila now at her wits end her plans out the window her schemes barely thought out hopes to find something ANYTHING to ruin Marinette’s day and reputation and everything. But Lila just so happens to get completely pelted with paintballs everytime she so much as moves and then later gets ignored when trying to wow Marinette’s new friends, and then gets called out by Felix and Kagami snaps and finally she snaps and SCREAMS and runs off and not even a dark little butterfly comes to help her ruin the perfect day. As it turns out Hawkmoth was a little preoccupied with trying to save his business after all the computers and data involved in his precise scheduling were mysteriously corrupted suddenly freeing up his son's time and schedule so he could spend more with HIS very good friend and no one else's. Kagami and Felix apparently had the same idea as when he gets to her new house their already their doing their best to get on her parents good side.
Basically just give me some comedic, fluffy, Lila salty, Marinette changes school fics. Because I love them ok.

“I’m sorry Seth but you and I both know that what you’re saying is bullshit.” I snatched my hand away from his chest, the feeling of his racing heart was no longer there. I knew he wasn’t lying about what he said but for his and my sanity, we both needed this to end here. This entire relationship was causing too many problems...well before he decided to join the Cullens.
“What (Y/N)....what are you talking about?.” He stood there with tears in his eyes, I’m surprised he didn’t let them fall like I was letting mine fall. That was one thing I hated about him. He held in all of his emotions and then when it came to the breaking point he would explode. Trust me when I say it’s not a good sight to see.
I had to put off a bold face for him. I couldn’t let him know that I was actually dying inside. I was letting a few tears slide down my face but that didn’t compare to the aching feeling that I was feeling inside of me. It was the same feeling I felt when he first left me.
“Fine since you want me to say it so badly”- I roughly pointed my finger in his face.- “ Leave me alone. We’re breaking up so don’t call me, or text me until you get your priorities straight. I’ll be home when you get your shit together.”
Seth couldn’t look me in the eyes, he started to kick the dirt with his feet. The sand below him started to change different colors from the tears that were falling upon it. He started to mumble a few words but the only thing I could hear was. “You don’t have your priorities straight either (Y/N).”
“It’s because I’m dealing with your shit! I’m around here following you like a lost puppy when you only play mind games with me! I’m so done with you and your bipolar ass!” I spat bitterly, I turned my back to him then marched towards Sam. I turned around to look at him once more, I instantly regretted it. He stood there with his hands in pockets with his head still hanging low. His head shot up instantly making eye contact with me, I quickly snatched my gaze away from him. This was going to be a new start for both of us so I didn’t need to be drawn back in with his puppy dog eyes.
Seth POV 2 weeks later
 I was too much of a coward to say goodbye. I was truly heartbroken. I wish I could run to her and tell her that I love her and tell her that I cherish everything about her but I know she wouldn’t believe me. I was all out of options. The only thing that felt right to do was to cry and that’s what I did. I cried so hard that day that Jake had to carry me home on his back. It’s been two weeks since I have last spoken to (Y/N), two of the longest fucking weeks of my life. I thought losing my dad was painful but this...this has won the race. I couldn’t bear the heartbreak so I started to stay out longer. I asked to take over Leah and Jake’s patrol hours. I don’t even remember the last time I ate. I can only remember our last encounter, it’s like a nonstop movie in my head it was causing me to go insane.
I hate it here.
I have been spending most of my days down at the border. I was monitoring the days where Colin and Brady patrolled, they were my best option to trick into letting me cross the border. It was my only way to apologize to (Y/N). So here I was trying to wave down Collin and Brady so I could continue with my ridiculous plan.
“Hey! Colin, Brady pshhh, come here!” I yelled out in the distance to the two wolves. I was standing at the border waiting for them to shift as well. I wasn’t in my wolf form. The last thing I wanted to do was be a threat to them.
Brady was the first to walk from behind the tree while Colin stood behind the tree too nervous to face me. I could read their body language from a mile away, they were very uncomfortable with being around me.
Brady snarled at me, I observed as all of the muscles in his body grew tense as he spoke. “I heard you got into it with Paul. He should have ripped your fucking head off.”
“Wow I wasn’t expecting that from you Brady, but thanks I guess.” I wasn’t trying to be an ass but it just rolled off my tongue. Straight away I regretted it, it only pissed him off even more.
Brady pulled Colin by the collar of his shirt pushing him towards me. The kid could barely keep his posture straight or his eyes focused on me. He had no confidence in his steps and started to trip over the branches on the ground.
Brady pointed between the both of us with his thumb. He had an irritated facial expression plastered on his face. “Tell him what you told me when he left.” he spat bitterly, a small smirk was rising on his face but soon faded as Colin spoke.
“Do I have to?” Colin mumbled, he waved shyly at me. I took this opportunity to wave back to him. I gave him a small smile as well. Colin, Brady, and I were always close but Brady was always the fiery type while Colin was timid.
“Yes, you have to say it!” Brady exclaimed.
Colin rolled his eyes, “Fine, I said that you were an ass for leaving us behind. It wouldn’t be the first time that you left us.” Brady glared at him to continue, “I also said that you have a reputation for turning your back on us.”
I noticed Brady smiling at Colin; he must have felt accomplished. I must admit, I did feel bad, I left them behind but it was some things that they have not come to reality with.  “Listen I need a huge favor. I need you to let me cross the border so I can see (Y/N).”
Brady rolled his eyes, “Wow so you just completely ignored what we have to say? Why would we let you cross the border and jeopardize us? Yeah, that was a stupid request.”
“You’ll do it because I am your superior. In Jakes’s pack I’m the beta...but don’t ask Leah or else she’ll lie. She thinks she’s the beta because she’s older but in reality, Jake named me the beta.”
Colin had a questionably look on his face, by now he has grown more comfortable with me and now is standing face to face just like Brady. “Why would you want to see someone who doesn’t want to see you?”
I was taken aback, “Why do you mean? She wants to see me, there is no way that she would not want to see me.”
“Umm I highly doubt it, she’s been living well since the accident. We went skating last week with us and the others. Not once has she mentioned your name.” Brady slapped Colin across the back of his head. I watched as the two bickered back and forth. Brady pushed Colin away from him. He snapped his fingers to gain my attention from my feet. I hadn’t realized that I was getting sidetracked but I was trying to figure out why (Y/N)  wasn’t heartbroken.
“She made it clear that she didn’t want to be around you anymore Seth. Dude if I were you I’d really leave her the fuck alone. She really wants nothing to do with you. If you try to see her she’ll probably freak out on you. You’re pretty much dead to her.” Brady then smirked, “There’s also another guy that has been keeping her busy lately.”
Ouch. Well, that hurt...it actually hurt a lot. I cleared my throat so I could stop the tears from arising. We’re not about to cry in front of them!
Colin now slapped Brady beside the head. “You could have said it nicer, idiot.”
“What! Her words, not mine!”
“Just forget about it.” I spat bitterly, If you wanted to forget about me and everything we had then so be it. I could forget you just as fast as you did me. I could care less about those stupid ass memories we made together. Just like you said I really didn’t love you it was just the stupid feeling of you being my damn imprint.
I continued to walk and degrade our relationship. Jake tried to stop and talk to me but I just shoved him out of the way. He started to piss me off as well. He had his nose shoved so far up the Cullens ass he couldn’t tell you what roses smell like. Then here comes my second problem, Leah.  I didn’t dare shove her. I didn’t want to pick a fight with her right now. I could explode on her and say some things I didn’t mean.
“Where the hell have you been!? Were you down at the border again?”
“Does it really matter?” I rolled my eyes at the screaming woman. If she wanted to be my mom then she should have birthed me out. She tugged me backward pulling her face up to hers. I stared into her lonely eyes as she did the same with me.
“You’re my little brother so you are my business. Stop doing dumb shit, Seth.”
 I ripped my face from her hands. “So let me get this straight when I need you you’re nowhere to be found but when I do something dumb you magically appear.” I already knew where the conversation was heading. I was not in the mood to hear her shit right now because I was a walking bomb ready to explode.
“Did you go see (Y/N)?”
“No! I didn’t see her. Why do you make everything about her? I could care less about her.” I couldn’t control myself. I threw my fist into a nearby tree. It cracked and fell to the ground. I didn’t realize I was crying until I felt the tears roll down my cheeks.  As much as I wanted the tears to stop falling I couldn’t. I have never felt so empty in my entire life. That same feeling of heartbreak resurfaced throughout my body. My chest began to tighten, a sharp pain shot throughout my body as I tried to walk forward.
”Make it stop hurting Leah.” I began to sob uncontrollably. “It hurts so bad, why did she have to go? Why is everyone leaving me? What did I do to deserve this….I just try so hard to make everyone happy but when will it be my turn to be happy?  Mom is fucking dating Charlie now. We barely see her anymore only on fucking holidays!  Why did dad have to fucking go!? And you only check on me when it’s convenient for you Leah! Why is everyone leaving me, Leah!?”
“Seth I-”
I cut her off, “Don’t say it.” I knew I was going to apologize about the accident that happened with dad. I never blamed her for the accident. She didn’t mean any harm by it. I could never bring myself to blame her.
 I started to wipe my tears with the sleeves of my flannel shirt. It brought back the memories of the time that (Y/N) would take my flannel and wear it with her converse and shorts. I started to cry all over again at the thought. I started to choke on my words, everything that was coming out of my mouth was undetectable. “(Y/N) was always there for me and now I chose the bloodsuckers over her. She doesn’t understand that it was the right thing to do. They were going to kill a baby. Leah, I don’t have anyone else. I’m so fucking lonely!”
“I know how it feels Seth. It hurts like hell but you’ll get over it. I’m sorry that you felt like I wasn’t there for you. I must admit that I was being completely selfish. I love you Seth and don’t you forget that.” I started to relax under her embrace. I haven’t seen this side of her since she and Sam were together. It was good to have her back though. “I love you too.”
I followed her gaze, she was staring up at the stars. “I want you to cry it all out, Seth. All of that heartbreak and sadness you have deep within you I want you to let it the fuck out. If you hold it in it’ll turn into anger then that anger will turn into bitterness. I’ll come back and check on you in the morning.”
I don’t want to be alone…
Leah’s footsteps started to become faint, I was left alone in my thoughts once again. I honestly didn’t want her to go. All I wanted for her to do was to hold me and tell me everything was going to be alright. I was stuck on ground zero like I was when my dad died, no one was there for me except (Y/N). She would probably hold me in her hands while whispering the things I wanted to hear. I wish you were here right now, maybe I wouldn’t be so angry at the world.
“Fuck it!” I started to yell out in the night air. I threw punches in the nearby tree to try and let my anger out. I hit each syllable of the words in the tree. “Fuck you, Sam! And Fuck you too Paul!! I’m not scared of you!” “I don’t care what anyone does and says to me. I’m going to see her and no one is going to stop me.” I didn’t stop until the tree flew back by the force of my hits.
I shifted into my wolf and ran towards her scent. Brady and Colin were still on patrol however they were both on the other side of the forest. It would take them a while to catch up to me at the speed I was running at. A sinister laugh escaped from my lips. This power or maybe it was the adrenaline….no, this was most definitely power. It made me feel invincible, By no means this was me finally sticking up for myself, or how (Y/N) would say, this was me finally growing some balls.
Her scent was in the direction of the beach, oh how could I miss that scent. I followed the dominating scent but there was something a bit off with her scent. It was a mixture of something foreign. I gazed out to the beach scanning every person that was out there. It seemed like there was a party, there were so many teenagers out around the bonfire. I growled out as I watched you sit on a log with another guy’s hoodie on. His cheap polo cologne filled my nostrils. You were sitting there laughing at something that he said which probably wasn’t that funny.
“Tch, I want to know what’s so funny.” Anger arose in my body causing my teeth and claws to sharpen. My breathing became irregular and there was a tight feeling in my chest. I tried to ignore it but the harder I breathe the more painful it becomes. I took a step forward and instantly collapsed on the ground. My wolf form quickly disappeared and there I was laying on the ground in the fetal position. I tried to crawl but my body felt numb. The only feeling I had was the tears falling from my eyes down my cheeks and onto the ground. I even tried to scream out your name but nothing came out but a gasping sound.
Was I dying?
I started to cry even harder, the thought of dying always freaked me out but the thought of leaving you with guilt made me feel even worse. The sobs were coming out more frequently than I anticipated. I didn’t have time to catch my breath or even think straight. Everything felt like it was closing on me. The air around me started to thin out making me feel dizzy. The pain in my chest starts to become more unbearable.
“(Y/N) wait...I..I...can’t breathe!” I choked out the words barely having the strength to do it. My head started to pound from the lack of oxygen I was getting. My hearing was becoming undetectable. I felt my body go stiff and my eyes fluttered shut as well, everything became dark and warm.
It took every bone and ounce of energy to draw a tiny heart near me. If (Y/N) found me like this then she would see the heart. She’ll know that I died loving her...right? Was I even dying or am I just being dramatic? I don’t know, I just want to embrace the warmness that surrounding me right now.

Jealous - Luke Patterson
Summary: You bring a friend to a concert with you and Luke gets the wrong idea.
A/N: this it like, alive!Luke, it’s also like 3k long 😭😭
Julie and the Phantoms Masterlist
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
Luke pouted, leg twitching as he looked around the small venue that Alex had booked them that night. The doors had only just opened and people were beginning to stream in. They’d played shows before but Luke was still surprised watching people come through the doors. He honestly couldn’t believe anyone had bought tickets. There was no doubt in Luke’s mind that they were the greatest band ever but seeing other people agree with that sentiment always made him feel like he was on cloud nine. Hanging a little over the second-floor balcony of the venue, watching every person that walked through the door, he wanted to be excited but his nerves had nothing to do with the show tonight.
“Would you chill man?” Alex chided, tapping Luke’s arm with a bottle of water. “She’ll be here.”
“She hasn’t missed a performance yet.” Reggie pointed out, spinning on a stool that he’d nabbed from the bar.
“Yeah, I know that.” Luke insisted, standing up but glancing back over his shoulder, “she said she’d make it before doors though...”
Ever since Julie had started playing with the guys, you had started hanging around more. You were embarrassed to say but you and Julie had been little more than friendly neighbors before she’d starting renting out her garage for band practice. The first time you’d heard the loud music coming from the Molina’s yard you’d gone to inspect and found the doors open and a band rehearsing inside. Needless to say, it was that first meeting that had cemented yours and Luke’s relationship. Not exactly more than friends but certainly not just friends. The more you came around the more the two of you danced around your feelings for each other and the more you neglected your other friends.
-
“Just, don’t say anything to the guys-”
“You mean, don’t say anything to Luke.” Julie countered, standing at her locker with you in between classes. Tonight, was the show at the Voltage Lounge and they’d been stoked about it since they got the gig. You would’ve been equally stoked, and you were, until you realized it was also your best friend’s birthday and you had promised to get dinner together.
“Look, I’ll be there, before doors, I promise. But I’ve kinda been ditching my other friends lately and I promised Mikey that we’d get dinner for his birthday.” You replied, shutting your locker and walking with Julie toward the music room.
“Don’t you think not telling Luke you’re going out with another guy would be worse than saying you’re gonna be a little late to the show?” Julie countered. She grabbed a seat by Flynn and you sat on the other side, leaning forward to keep the conversation going.
“I just don’t want him thinking I’m ditching the performance okay, me and Mikey are just friends...as are me and Luke.” You replied, though even saying it sounded like a lie. You knew as well as Julie and Flynn that you were avoiding mentioning the dinner because you didn’t want Luke to get the wrong idea.
“You tell yourself that.” Flynn chided, pulling a face at you, clearly not believing you at all.
“We are.”
“Yeah, and anytime he sings anything even slightly romantic he looks right at you.”
“It’s true,” Julie piped up, “he’s been coming up with a lot more love songs recently. Whenever I ask him about it he just says he wants us to have a balanced song pool or something.”
“We’re not a thing.” You insisted. “I’m going to dinner and then I’ll be at the show...simple as that. Just, don’t say anything.”
Julie agreed, throwing out some lame excuse about you having to go over your grandparents’ house before the show as a reason that you weren’t going to the venue with them like you usually did. Getting booked somewhere as a headliner was still fairly new to them and you always liked to be there in the moments before the show started, an extra person to reassure them that they completely and totally deserved all of this.
While you didn’t think your absence would be felt too exponentially, it definitely was. Luke had been unusually antsy since they’d gotten there. He was always eager to get onstage but this was different, he kept looking over the railing as if he was going to hurl and rush out of the venue. Reggie tried reassuring him that everything was fine but nothing seemed to calm his nerves.
“Hey, ten minutes alright, start getting ready,” one of the crew said, scribbling something on his clipboard.
“Okay, thanks.” Julie nodded, looking back over the railing as he left, the calm she was trying to portray immediately washing away when she saw you walk into the venue. Any other time she would’ve been jumping for joy but you weren’t alone and she could only assume that the guy with you was the Mikey you had mentioned earlier in the day. “So we should-” as she turned to address them, hopefully distract Luke, Reggie caught sight of you in the crowd.
“Look!” He nudged Luke’s arm, pointing you out, “she made it.”
Julie grimaced as Luke looked over the balcony and down into the crowd. It took him a moment to find you but Julie and Alex could pinpoint the exact moment that he did. A flicker of happiness at the sight of you, quickly washed away and turned into, first confusion, and then something akin to anger. He frowned, eyebrows furrowing as he watched you get a spot on his side, talking the whole time to the guy with you.
“Who the fuck is that?” He asked.
You had told Julie that your plan was to go, get through dinner with Mikey, and then come straight to the venue for the show. A simple enough evening, and you’d expected it to go off without a hitch except Mikey got curious about who you were texting and guilted you into inviting him along.
“So, this band?” Mikey asked, looking around the small venue, “how’d you become a groupie?”
“I’m not a groupie. Julie and I are friends.” You stressed, scrunching your nose up as the lights dimmed and the people around you screamed in excitement.
The anticipation was palpable and, truthfully, you were right there with the other concert goers around you, excited by the prospect of seeing Julie and the Phantoms perform live. It wasn’t something that was new for you, a front row seat to all their rehearsals was part of your everyday life and yet, something about seeing them perform live like this, with a crowd that so responsive to them, only added to the adrenaline coursing through you.
As the guys ran out on stage, Alex, then Reggie, then Luke, and finally Julie, the noise level around you seemed to pick up. But there was something off, something that didn’t quite sync with you that settled as the first chords sounded. You frowned, realizing, as Luke purposely missed you when he scanned the crowd, exactly what it was that you were feeling. It wasn’t accidental in the slightest, Julie met your gaze more than once and so did Reggie and Alex but Luke was ignoring you. He was very intentionally ignoring you standing there in the very front row, pressed against the barricade in front of him.
It was as if someone had knocked all the air out of your chest. Somehow that loud, crowded venue where you could feel the bass pounding in your stomach, felt empty. You felt small and invisible and even when Mikey shouted in your ear that they were actually an awesome band you lacked the excitement to tell him that they were the best band ever. You just nodded. And as much as you wanted to look away from Luke, a silent “two can play at this game”, you didn’t. Instead, you just kept watching him, waiting for him to look your way and somehow explain what was going on that had him acting like you didn’t exist.
-
The encore ended, the boys each running off the stage before Julie, Luke standing at the side waiting for her as she waved one last time to the crowd before setting the mic back in its stand and running off. The mass of people who had been screaming lulled into a buzz, some of them leaving as others lingered, waiting for the band to come back out to sign autographs and take pictures.
You walked Mikey to the merch table while other people hung around chatting with each other, the house lights up so that you could actually see as you walked. Flynn stood behind the table and she waved when she saw you.
“I’ll catch you later, thanks for letting me tag along.” He said, hanging at the door for a minute.
“Yeah totally, thanks for coming. Happy birthday,” you hugged him and then circled back to Flynn, stepping behind the table and sitting down on the stool.
“Girl, you do not seem happy.” Flynn commented as she grabbed a sweatshirt from one of the boxes and handed it across the table to a fan.
“I’m just...” you shrugged, looking back down toward the stage, “confused?”
“Did something happen with Mikey?” She asked.
You handed a shirt from one of the bins to her as she rung up a sale, jumping in to ask a few people what they needed as she waited on a group of girls. When they had all finally dispersed, the line lulling for a moment, you turned back to Flynn, “no...I mean other than him inviting himself along. No, it was Luke...he was like, it sounds dumb to say it but, it was like he was ignoring me.”
“Maybe he didn’t see you?” She suggested, attempting to be reassuring.
“He saw me. Then he just, acted like he didn’t the whole rest of the night.” You replied, “I don’t know...it felt shitty.”
“You know who you should tell that to?”
“Luke?” You asked, already knowing her answer. Flynn was the queen of confrontation.
“Exactly.”
You frowned, the last thing you wanted to do was talk to Luke. If he was going to ignore you the way he had on stage, Flynn had been trying to make you feel better but you knew he was avoiding you for some reason. He always made it a point to find you in the crowd but tonight he had looked anywhere but you.
A few straggling fans shouted excitedly and you looked passed the table to see that the guys and Julie had come out from backstage for meet and greets. As they spread out to talk to people, Reggie moved toward the merch stand, parking himself close enough to you that he could chat with you without drawing too much attention. You knew it was on purpose, that was usually Luke’s spot but tonight he stayed all the way down by the stage, almost reluctant to be out on the floor.
“Hey, great job.” You mentioned, grabbing a water bottle from under the table and handing it to Reggie. He took it gratefully, taking a sip before setting it on the floor beside him and beginning to greet the group of fans that had hung back to say hello to him.
When there was a spare minute between signing and taking pictures, he moved down the table, closer to you then before, leaning against a bare patch of wood where Flynn had already cleared away shirts. “Who was that guy you came with?” Reggie asked, looking back at you as you took one of the larger hoodies out of a box and pulled it on. Without the people, the venue had started to get cold.
“My friend Mikey, it was his birthday and he’s been bugging me to hang out. He tagged along really and I didn’t wanna ditch him...” you replied, coming around the side of the table, “I didn’t really think it’d be an issue.”
“Oh, it's not with me. We need all the fans we can get right?” Reggie joked, “did he like our music?”
“Yeah, totally loved it.”
The last of the concert goers finally made it to the door, waving to Reggie one last time as they walked passed the closed down merch stand. He waved back and you turned to watch them leave, back to the stage.
“Hey, can we talk?” Luke’s voice came from behind you and you looked over your shoulder to him, standing there with his plaid jacket over a black band tee. His hair was pushed off his forehead from sweat and he was frowning already, not exactly the version of him you wanted to talk to. You couldn’t help that longing feeling for the Luke that would come off stage and wrap you in a sweaty hug guaranteed to piss of fans.
“Uh yeah, of course...I need to talk to you too.” You replied, turning fully toward him as Reggie stood up, grabbing his water and heading back down toward the stage. Flynn came around the merch stand, following after him, leaving you and Luke alone.
A beat passed between you and he ran his hand through his hair, trying and failing to fix the sweaty mess. Unable to stand the silence, you started talking, “you guys were awesome...as usual.”
“Yeah, thanks.” He had asked to talk to you but he wasn’t really sure how to start the conversation he wanted to have and he couldn’t bring himself to really meet your eyes, his gaze flickering passed you every few seconds.
“Would’ve been even better if you weren’t ignoring me all night,” you blurted.
That seemed to be the push he needed to react, “yeah well, you brought some date with you? After the other night...” he trailed off for a moment, meeting your eyes finally, “I mean, that wasn’t nothing.”
-
Band practice had ended earlier than usual and, while you sat on the couch trying to win a particularly difficult level of candy crush on Luke’s phone, everybody else discussed a pizza run for dinner. You raised your hand to vote for extra cheese but didn’t look up when Julie left to go and Reggie and Alex walked out onto the driveway to play basketball. You didn’t look up until Luke dropped down on the couch next to you, putting his chin on your shoulder.
“How’s it going?” He asked, keeping his eyes on his phone screen as you turned your head, so close that your nose almost brushed his cheek.
“Good?” You said, drawing the word out as you looked at him skeptically, “can I ask why you’re so close to me?”
“So, you can bask in my awesomeness?” Luke teased, wrapping his arm around your waist.
“I think the only thing I’m basking in is your post-rehearsal sweat.” You joked, shifting a little so that his chin fell off your shoulder and you were facing him. You set his phone down on the coffee table, giving your whole attention to Luke.
He smiled at you, eyes searching yours. There was no denying that very specific look that Luke seemed to get, one you could never quite name but always recognized. He would smile, a soft sort of piercing look that you couldn’t look away from on his face. And you were always hypnotized by it, feeling like maybe you should distract yourself from it but never really wanting to.
“What are we doing?” You chanced asking, meeting his gaze and holding it.
“What’da ya mean?” He asked, grin still on his face and you felt like he’d gotten closer but you didn’t move.
“You’re staring at me.”
“You’re staring at me.” He echoed.
“Luke.” You wanted to roll your eyes but you also didn’t want to look away, even for a split second.
He leaned closer, the joking air that had been dissipating completely gone now. You licked your lips, trying to keep yourself calm as Luke moved in. One second, he was looking at you and the next your eyes were closing, his lips pressed against yours and his grip on your waist tightening.
The kiss didn’t last long. The doors to the garage creaked open and you both pulled away, looking anywhere but at each other as Julie walked in with pizza. Alex and Reggie came in behind her and Luke stood up, grabbing a stack of magazines off the coffee table and moving them out of the way. You picked up his phone, unlocking it and opening candy crush again to distract yourself.

Neither of you had discussed the kiss, mostly because you were too afraid that if you brought it up he would tell you that it was just a mistake. Some spur of the moment thing that happened but that he didn’t really mean. You hadn’t even told Julie or Flynn about it.
But now you were standing at the empty merch table with him and he was acting like you had purposely tried to hurt him. A ‘date’ he had called it and all at once you realized exactly what he thought had happened.
“No, no,” you shook your head, “Mikey wasn’t a date.”
“You didn’t say you were bringing Mikey with you to our show.” Luke replied, your best friend’s name rolling off his tongue like a curse.
“He was bugging me about not hanging out recently and it’s his birthday so we were supposed to go out for dinner but I kept mentioning you…the band…and he wanted to come to the show.” You tried to explain.
“Why didn’t you just tell me?” It was stupid to ask, technically you didn’t owe him any explanation at all. You could bring whoever you wanted but he couldn’t help feeling affronted by it.
“I didn’t want you to think I was gonna ditch the show. And…I didn’t want you to think it was a date.” You replied. “The kiss wasn’t nothing and I should’ve talked to you about it sooner cause…I really like you and it felt really shitty to be ignored tonight.”
Luke rubbed the back of his neck, “I’m sorry, I was just pissed when I saw you with some other guy.”
“Mikey’s just a friend.” You replied, “I like you Luke, I like when you pretend to play the guitar badly to make me laugh and I like when we hang out without everyone else and just do nothing or go to the beach and I like going out with you at midnight to get ice cream cause neither of us can sleep and I don’t want to date anyone else…I want you.”
“I want you too.” Luke said, stepping closer to you. When he reached for your hands, you laced your fingers with his. He leaned forward, pressing his lips against yours again, the salty taste of sweat from playing a show still there on his mouth as you kissed him back.

Saw your requests were open, hope its okay if I make a small one. Princess!Reader x Knight!Levi where Levi has to go on mission away from the princess and the day he is supposed to come back somebody attempts to kill her.
C/n: love it! I live for Knight Levi. Thanks for requesting and I hope that you enjoy🤍
——————————————————————————
Lessons. (Levi x Reader)
“Checkmate! I win!”
“Princess, this is checkers.”
Y/n laughed as Levi rolled his eyes at her. “Oh whatever. I really want to learn chess.” She says. “I can ask one of the royal advisors to teach you.”
“Don’t you know how to play?”
“Yes. But who is going to protect while you learn?”
Y/n smiles at her knight as he looked around the room. “Do you really have to go? Why don’t you just stay here? With me?” She trails off at the end and Levi looks back her. A small smile forms on his lips and he shakes his head. “They need me, princess. I need to protect this kingdom and you.” He says and Y/n sighs. “Well, when you put it like that...” she places her chin on her palm as she looks down at the checkers board. Levi stares at her and sighs. “I’ll be back in a week. Have some time by yourself. Away from me.” It hurt him just saying that. “No. I like spending time with you so it isn’t a nuisance.”
She looks up at him and smiles. “Who’s going to be here while you’re gone?” She asks, getting a hit serious. “Another guard. Floch Forster. You know him? Brown hair?” He says and she nods. Y/n gets up and starts to walk to him. His armor on and ready as she touches the handle of his sword. “Be careful, okay?” She whispers as she keeps her head down. Levi nods. “I will.”
The next day, Levi left his princess’s side for the first time in a while to go with the army to the neighboring kingdom. Y/n watched him leave from her balcony and sighed. She missed him already. She had grown attached to the grumpy knight who protected her since they were teenagers.
“Princess.” A voice calls her and she turns to see a man standing by her door. “I’m Floch Forster. Your new knight.” He says and she nods. “Hi. Nice to meet you.”
“We have met before. I’m not sure if you remember. But it was at a ball a few weeks back.” Floch says and Y/n nods her head. “Yes I remember.” Floch smiles. “Good.” The ball he was talking about, Y/n couldn’t forget. It was the night Levi and her almost kissed. Y/n had a little too much of champagne and Levi fell victim to her drunk antics. But she really wished he would’ve allowed her to kiss him.
The following days were a bore since Y/n normally spent talking Levi’s ear off about the book she read or talking about the people who visited her father and how they were the fakest people she had ever seen. Now, she just sat quietly in the garden and read her book. “Is something the matter, princess?” Floch asks and she faces him. “Yes. Why?”
“You’ve just been quiet lately. From what I heard, you aren’t like that with Knight Levi.” He says and Y/n smiles. “Well it’s just hard adjusting with him not being here. But it’s just a few more days. Then you are relieved from babysitting me.” She gives him a smile and he chuckles. “But I quite like attending to you, princess.” Floch smirks and Y/n smiles a bit uncomfortably. He means well but Levi is hers. She wouldn’t want anybody else but him to be this close to her.
Levi stood next to Erwin as he furrows his eyebrows. Erwin picks up on his mood. “Everything alright?” He asks and Levi looks up. “I don’t know. I’m getting a..weird feeling.” “It’s probably just the jitters.” Levi nods in agreement but that feeling stayed with him ever since he left Y/n back home.
~~~~
Today was it. Levi was coming home. After a dreadful week, all she wanted to do was to see him. She never wants to be apart from him again. Floch was good but something about him just made her feel uncomfortable. The way he stared at her, asked her way too many questions, flirted. It was things she definitely wasn’t used to.
Was came back saying that Levi and the rest have been delayed on the road and will be back in the night. Since Y/n had something to attend to the next day, she decided to wait to see him tomorrow, insisted by her mother.
Changing into her nightgown, Y/n slips under the sheets with a smile on her face. Tomorrow, the first thing that she’ll see will be Levi’s face.
~~~~
A dark shadow lurks the hallways as it makes its way to the princess’s chamber. The light of lightning and sounds of thunder echoed through the palace. A covered face of black and dagger in its hand, it opens the door. The princess lays in her bed, open and vulnerable as the assassin makes it way to her. ‘One stab. Straight through the heart.’ The orders ring in its head as it stood next to her. A shame. The moonlight made her look gorgeous but this was needed.
As the assassin moved to stab her, Y/n turned around into a more comfortable position, completely avoiding the blade. The sound of material tearing woke her up. “What the..” she turned and the assassin covered her mouth. Her screams muffled as the assassin got its blade.
‘In times when someone has you pinned down and your arms are useless, use your legs. With all your might, push.’
Y/n kicked the person and pushed them off of her as she yelled. “Help! Somebody help!” In a flash, her knight in shining armor appeared at the door. Hair wet and armor soaked. “Levi! Please!” She reached for him and he grabbed her and pushed away. “Run Y/n! Go to your parents!” He yells and Levi fights the assassin with his drawn sword. But Y/n didn’t leave. She stood and watched as Levi fought. The assassin was quick but Levi was faster. Levi and the assassin were in a sword lock and Y/n took the opportunity to take her foot rest and throw it at the man, avoiding Levi.
The person felt o the ground unconscious and dropped the dagger and Levi looked at her. “I thought I told you to run away.” He says, out of breath but relieved. “You know I’m not good at following orders.” She smiles and Levi shakes his, chuckling.
The king and queen along with servants entered her room and Levi held the assassin’s hands behind his back. “Let’s see who this is.” Levi takes out the mask to reveal..
“Floch?” Y/n says and everyone gasps. “Take him to the dungeon. And notify me when he wakes up.” Levi orders and the men take him away. The king and queen search Y/n for any injuries as she assures them that she’s fine and they Levi saved her.
Finally left alone, Y/n smiles at her savior. “Not the way I hoped in welcoming you back.” She chuckles and he walks to her. He stands in front of her as he cups her cheek. “I’m just glad that you’re okay.” He whispers and she looks at his lips. “Can I..give my savior a reward?” She asks and he nods, knowing what she was going to do.
A soft kiss is laid on his lips as her arms wrap around his neck. Levi hums against her and pulls away. “I’m never leaving you again, Y/n.” She smiles as he nuzzled her neck. “I second that.”
“But hey,” she pulls away, “I kicked Floch like how you taught me!” She smiles and Levi ruffles her hair. “You got good aim too, brat. If I didn’t know better I thought you were going to knock me out too.” A pinch on his cheek results in Levi hugging her.
Lessons like that always stuck.

six: hustle and bustle | masterlist
When Wonwoo went to college, he moved out from the Royal Residences and rented an apartment with Soonyoung and two other friends of different majors. That period of his life where he was swamped with school works and other official duties, had given him the smallest of chances to go home and sleep for more than two nights in the bedroom he had since he was a teen. From then on, he managed to handle most of his activities on his own. He was assigned a staff that would help him navigate through his busy lifestyle and that was about it.
Their Majesties were not bothered at all by their son’s independence although, oftentimes they felt terrible because of how busy they were, they lacked the time to spend with their only child.
It was a challenge for the Royal Family to apply the definition of “family” in their own context, but in the end, they made it work. The kingdom was flourishing meanwhile the family is loved and supported more than ever.
Their Majesties knew of their son’s wishes to marry his past girlfriend and they were more than ready to support him. But then again, he was young and when they heard their decision to go their separate ways, they were also there, ready as they will ever be, to support him.
Wonwoo wasn’t impatient to find love again. Most especially when he landed a job at the Royal Hospital of the neighboring kingdom. If he was driven to excel as a student, he was more than driven to be the best that he can be when he worked full-time.
Occasionally, your arrangement with him crosses his mind. He likes you. He really does. He likes how you message or call him. He likes how you smile and talk to him. He likes seeing you and having you around. And just recently, he likes holding and kissing you.
He’s just worried that maybe because of this whole arranged marriage thing, the two of you are moving too fast. Or that maybe, this is just an infatuation that may vanish anytime soon.
He doesn’t know why he’s thinking of such thoughts so early in the morning when you’re here with him but he can’t help it.
Wonwoo was the first one to wake up and the sight of your back greeted him. An elated smile is drawn on his face when he remembers the night before. He still remembers the feel of your lips and breath against his. It makes him wonder if he’d get to feel them again today. He yawns and reaches his hand out to your back, gently running it against the t-shirt you borrowed from him. A low chuckle then escapes his lips as he tries to figure out how you even got on the edge of his bed when he clearly remembers how he locked you in his arms last night.
After a moment of just listlessly playing with your hair and back, he finally scoots over and completely wraps his arm around your waist. He tugs you close to the middle because he’s sure one more movement in the wrong direction, you’re going to fall over.
His action caused you to wake up. Wonwoo meets your bleary eyes and he’s immediately apologizing with a guilty grin.
“Sorry. You can go back to sleep,” he says and fixes the hairs that’s covering your face.
You sigh and close your eyes again before sinking further back on the pillow. “What time is it?”
“I don’t know either,” he answers sheepishly. “But, it’s early. Too early to leave the bed.”
You give him a look of disbelief before pulling yourself up, much to his dismay. A few stretches of your neck and arms helped get rid of your drowsiness. As you stand up to go to the bathroom, the Prince remains sprawled out on the bed with arms now behind his neck, just watching you fondly.
“Have you been awake all this time?” You ask while gathering your dress from the rack, contemplating if you should wear it again instead of being seen with the Prince’s clothes. “You looked like you’ve been creepily staring at me.”
Wonwoo scoffs at your remark and finally stands and follows to where you are. He finds you standing in front of the sink and fixing your hair. With crossed arms, he leans his broad shoulder against the doorframe. His mind goes blank again with thoughts filled by you only.
“You didn’t deny it,” you say and pick up the toothbrush you used last night. “And you’re doing it again.”
Wonwoo snaps out of it and rolls his eyes. “I think you’re liking it though.”
You tried to fight against his claims but your mouth was muffled by the foam of the toothpaste. Wonwoo laughs at your struggle and walks towards the sink as well to mirror what you’re doing. Your playful glare was returned by Wonwoo with a wink. You fake a disgusted gag and the two of you just laugh altogether.
Wonwoo’s concerns earlier were thrown out the window the moment his eyes saw your smile and ears heard your laughter. He’s confident on how his heart fluttered at the thought of sharing every morning like this with you. A few banters or bickering here and there but if it ends up with a warm hug and breathtaking kiss then he won’t complain.
“I have to go back to my room,” you say as you wipe your face with a towel. “For real this time.”
Wonwoo pouts and holds your waist. “I told you it’s still early.”
“Wonwoo, it’s already seven thirty in the morning,” you tell him after giving the clock on the wall a quick glance.
Wonwoo doesn’t relent and wraps his arms around you. “And? Don’t people sleep in while they’re on vacation?”
“Let’s just meet at breakfast,” you dodge his question and untangle his arms from your body, to which he protests against. “Wonwoo.”
He doesn’t let you go as you walk towards the door. You’re dragging a six foot tall baby giant and you don’t even know if you can actually reach the door at this rate.
“Let go.”
“No.”
“Wonwoo, please—”
“Aha!” The door suddenly opens and to your dread, it’s the Queen. “I knew I’d find you here!”
Tumblr media
What ensued in the early hours of the morning is something you wish to not be spoken about as you and Wonwoo carried on with breakfast. The Prince still insists that he locked his door and you are a witness of that, in spite of getting lost in each other’s heated kisses last night. But then again, his mother is the Queen and it’s no question that she’d have keys to every single room of the Royal Residences.
Plus, Her Majesty was more than pleased to see the two of you getting along so well that you even share a room and bed together. You apologized profusely at the breakfast table but all you remember is her dropping it by saying how welcome you are to stay at Wonwoo’s bedroom from now on and if you wish, she’ll have your luggage moved right this instant.
Wonwoo was embarrassed, but he doesn’t disagree with his mother’s suggestion. He knows she’s joking so he played along even though it earned him a painful pinching on his thigh under the table.
His Majesty already left by seven sharp for his scheduled meeting with the cabinet members hence the absence at breakfast.
After a hearty breakfast and relentless teasing, you and Wonwoo proceed with the agenda for the day. The Queen gave a short briefing on what the day has in store for the two of you. She regretfully informs you on how long and tiring it might get, but assured you that it will be only for today and afterwards the two of you can have the freedom to explore and do whatever you want for the coming days.
You and Wonwoo have had similar busy days even before you got engaged so this is something you’re already used to. It’s just that this time it’s a different load because you’re doing it together as a couple. You must say it’s nerve wracking, but Wonwoo is here and he will be with you every step of the way.
The Queen excused herself a little while later, leaving you and Wonwoo remained seated to wait for the staff to finish preparations for your departure.
As you look around the pristine garden, Wonwoo catches you by surprise with a kiss on your shoulder. You could barely feel it from the button up you’re wearing, but let him be nonetheless. He leans his forehead on said shoulder and you do the same to the top of his head.
“Still sleepy?” You ask and you can feel him nod.
“I can already see myself falling asleep in the car.”
You snort at his dramatics and lightly tap his cheek.
Wonwoo then abruptly lifts his head up and juts his lips in a pout. “We should have slept in.”
“Her Majesty will not hesitate to wake us up,” you remind him while shaking your head and rolling your eyes.
“No she won’t!” He insists and holds your hand. “She’d think “poor babies, I should let them sleep.””
You let out an uncontrollable giggle. “That’s not how it works Wonwoo. For one, we’re literal adults in adult bodies and second, we can’t escape this whether we like it or not.”
Wonwoo couldn’t argue with you anymore so he opted to narrow his eyes at you instead. He attempted but Jeongyeon’s arrival cut him off. She happily announces that the car is already at the front and that you’re good to go. Wonwoo mumbles “we’ll talk about this later” to you when he stands up and takes your hand.
You just nod your head to let the baby in him win.
Tumblr media
Timely enough, Wonwoo’s alma mater is celebrating its founding anniversary and they invited the “Royal Couple” - as they call the two of you these days - to say a few words of motivation to the student body, most especially those who are about to graduate.
It was only supposed to be Wonwoo, but when the news of you joining the Prince for his homecoming spread, they didn’t think twice to invite you as well. You were more than okay to just let Wonwoo do his thing and watch from the sidelines or through a livestream, but you considered that it’s only right and polite to introduce yourself properly to your future husband’s people.
So far, the people from yours and his have been very welcoming and supportive of your union. However, you can’t be complacent because a minor slip up by public figures like the two of you will not be tolerated by the people who have the potential to be cruel.
The university’s biggest auditorium was booming and vibrating from the loud cheers and claps of every student and school official present when your arrival was announced. Men and women alike cheered specifically for their Prince and senior who returned the enthusiasm welcome with a strong wave and bright smile.
You do the same beside him until you both reach the designated chairs near the stage. A bouquet of flowers was presented for you by some students to which you gladly accept. Wonwoo keeps your hand clasped with his, only letting go to shake hands with his previous professors.
Shortly after, the crowd quiets down and the president of the university stands at the podium and officially opens the program.
You’re nervous. That’s the least you can say out of all the emotions that’s running through you at the moment. You think you look awfully awkward and stiff with your posture and you’re afraid that this could be on the front page of every newspaper the next morning. Your appearance should be the least of your worries right now, but you can’t help but feel conscious.
Wonwoo must have noticed because he took hold of your hand that’s placed on the arm rest, giving it gentle squeezes and a quick kiss. This is him letting you know that he’s right here and that you’re okay. You didn’t even notice that you’ve been holding your breath all this time. You exhale and squeeze his hand back. It makes you wonder if he felt as nervous as you are now when he made similar appearances back at your kingdom.
“Thank you, your Highness, for accepting our invitation,” the dean of the Medical and Health Sciences department, who took the microphone after the president’s opening, says and claps at your direction.
You and Wonwoo stand up to wave once again to the clapping crowd, their energy not dying anytime soon.
Wonwoo is then invited to go up the stage to grace the students who have been waiting to hear his voice since the program started. He takes the microphone from the dean after he shakes his hand.
“The last time I was here, I was about to graduate,” he starts and the expecting crowd listens. “I was younger and you know, really excited and relieved that school is finally over and I’m free!”
The students laugh and so do you.
Wonwoo continues, “It didn’t cross my mind that I’ll be standing here again and be embraced by your kindness. I will make this short as I’m sure that you’d much rather prefer the festivities outside instead of being here,” he tries to humor and the students disagree with him.
“The people first,” he emphasizes and points his forefinger up, “As someone who is delegated to do various activities responsibly, I do it not for my image or the cabinet or even my family. I do it because of the people, because of you,” he says and gestures his hand to them.
“Likewise, as a doctor, I do my job responsibly with the people I’m serving in mind. I do it for their well-being, safety and overall survival. That’s my purpose and I hope that as you have yours, you remember to be selfless because that’s what we need the most. I congratulate you in advance, for those who have only started and for those who are about to cross the finish line. Congratulations because I know and I believe that you’ll do well and even better. Just hang in there a little bit more and take breaks if you need to. I hope to see you around someday, wherever it may be.”
You don’t know if it’s your imagination playing tricks on you, but Wonwoo seems to be dashing and blinding as ever. The way he stood and spoke gracefully made him shine as if he’s the only light that’s being illuminated inside this auditorium.
Wonwoo ends his speech with a sincere thank you and a polite bow. The crowd claps and cheers for him (for the nth time). The school officials went to the stage and gave him flowers as well, to his surprise, before proceeding to have their pictures taken to commemorate the event.
You clap just like everyone else and watch Wonwoo with your smile never disappearing. It didn’t take long for the Prince to search for you and meet your eyes. With a wide smile, you give him two thumbs up. In response, he charmingly winks at you.
You can’t believe you like this guy.
I like him, you realized.
You’re just realizing that now after doing almost everything with him. Holding hands, sharing kisses here and there, hugging each other’s warm bodies and even spending the night together.
Yeah, I like him.
Tumblr media
Lunch had to be short because you have one more place to visit. Jeongyeon mentioned that the drive could last approximately forty minutes to an hour. If you want to get back to the residences before it gets too dark, you need to get moving. You just grabbed a honey bread, which was Wonwoo’s recommendation since it’s his favorite and it’s the kingdom’s famous delicacy. You accompanied it with a cup of tea meanwhile Wonwoo got himself a cup of coffee.
The two of you ate your quick bites inside the moving vehicle and it was a stretch to not spill your beverages. The driver had to slow down every once in a while, but you and Wonwoo just giggled like some teenagers out on their first date.
Twenty minutes in the drive, Wonwoo is already passed out with his head laid on your shoulder while his fingers are interlaced with yours. You’re not sure if Wonwoo is tired or if he’s just really a sleepyhead by how much he’s been sleeping since the two of you arrived. Well, it’s only your second day. But you clearly remember how he slept on your way here, then today on the way to the university and now to your next destination.
Nonetheless, you let him be because this will last for two weeks only and after that, he’ll be back to his hospital duty schedule. And you won’t deny, he is definitely cute with his mouth ajar.
You have been to an orphanage several times before. Usually it’s with your parents as an official duty and other times, it’s just you. After witnessing various cases involving children at your internship at the Supreme Court, a purpose arose.
Children in your kingdom, like in any other kingdom, are beyond valued and laws are enacted to emphasize that value. Any crime committed against children is corresponded by punishments, regardless of who and what you are.
You haven’t handled a case firsthand and you hope to never do so.
This visit is nothing new to you and Wonwoo. But the heartbreak each time you step foot at such a place is something you’ll never get used to.
Tumblr media
The children of the orphanage were nothing but full of joy when you and Wonwoo stepped out of the car. Their smiles and waves were enough to put a smile on your faces and lift the heavy burden of today’s affairs. Some of the kids ran to the two of you and handed flowers and small trinkets as gifts. One of them proudly said that they made it during their arts and crafts classes. While the others agreed saying how they made it just for you.
You and Wonwoo have your hearts swelling in adoration.
Hand in hand, you and Wonwoo followed the head caretaker as he toured you around. The facilities were of great condition, making it a healthy environment for the children as they play, study and grow. Right now, the orphanage only offers elementary education as there is only a small number of orphaned teenagers. But that doesn’t mean that they are taken care of any less.
A lot of changes and improvements have been made as the kingdom made an effort to protect the welfare of children in the country. According to the caretaker, there has been a spike of abandoned children on the streets from the previous year and to say that they are alarmed is an understatement. Volunteers, mostly teachers from elementary schools, protested and appealed to the kingdom’s cabinet members to do something and accordingly enough, they did.
It was a gradual process and it still is. But to them slow is better than unmoving.
After the program where the children presented a play of the turtle and the hare and the older brothers and sisters performed a dance number, you and Wonwoo were led by the caretaker to the gallery where photos that dated back to the establishment of the orphanage were displayed.
The photos hold memories of past volunteers and children who used to live here. Some stories of the children before were saddening. They didn’t only lose their real parents, oftentimes they also lose the second chance of having one. Some do get adopted meanwhile some grow old here, considering the orphanage as their sole family. It was difficult and eventually, the orphanage faced trials that almost caused its closure.
But the perseverance and sacrifices of the people here fought against those trials that helped the orphanage’s service to continue to this day.
“These are the children who got adopted this year,” the caretaker shows you a framed photo while the Prince spoke with the volunteer doctor about the health and wellness of the children.
The kids in the photo donned innocent smiles as if they were smiling directly at you. You touch the glass of the frame and try to embed their faces on your mind just like how you did to those you have met today.
You pray that they get to be happy forever.
Tumblr media
You don’t get to see the sunset as much. The sunrise, maybe. But sunsets are a rare sight for you because of how late you stay at your office every day. So when Wonwoo suggested to stop by the nearest beachside and watch as the sun sets, you didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Wonwoo is the opposite. The sunset is closer to his heart because that’s usually the time where he catches a break. He’s go-to place to take in the majestic view is at the hospital’s rooftop. Sometimes Soonyoung accompanies him with dinner and sometimes he’s all by himself with a warm cup of coffee.
It’s a bit cold as you walk barefoot on the sand. It’s a relief that you’re wearing the pants that Jeongyeon prepared for you among the other options.
Wonwoo’s holding your one hand while you’re using the other to carry the heels you wore today. Security is lurking around as they give you the space and free time that you need. Today has been eventful but fun. And ending it with a peaceful walk on the beach only comforts you further.
“You were cool today,” you speak up against the sound of the waves and bump your shoulder to his. “Earlier at the university.”
Wonwoo smirks, but hangs his head low. “I’m always cool.”
You roll your eyes. “Whatever.”
After a few hundreds of steps, Wonwoo pulls you down to sit. He keeps his hands locked with yours as you take the last minutes of the ablaze color of the sky which is also reflected on the water.
“What do you think of going to my family’s vacation home tomorrow?” He asks while smiling at you.
You pretend to think for a second. “I really can’t say no to that, can I?”
Wonwoo purses his lips. “No, not really.”
“Well then, I think it would be lovely,” you finally answer.
Wonwoo took advantage of you facing him and stole a kiss from your lips. Your eyes widen with the fleeting contact while your cheeks burn in spite of the cold breeze coming from the ocean. The Prince laughs at your reaction and pulls you closer to him with his arms wrapped around your waist.
“From my memory of last night, you kissed me first.”
You threw daggers at him with your glare and hit his arm. “You’re unbelievable.”
“What? You don’t want to kiss me anymore?” He acts hurt and clutches the middle of his chest. “I’m hurt, Princess.”
“I didn’t say that,” you mutter under your breath and Wonwoo grins in victory.
“You started it so you’re gonna have to keep your end of the deal,” he whispers as he snuggles his face to your neck. “You’re marrying me after all.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Wonwoo suddenly draws back and gazes into your eyes.
“What?” You ask, confused.
“Kiss me.”
You push him away and stand up. “You know what, it’s getting cold. I want to go back to the car.”
“No!” Wonwoo holds onto your calf to prevent you from escaping. “You have to kiss me first!”
He seems to have forgotten that you’re not the only people enjoying the beach by how he’s acting and it’s starting to get embarrassing. He doesn’t seem to care as well because he remains persistent, hugging your leg and whining against it.
“Okay, okay!” You appease him and secure your hand on his cheeks. “Just one and we’re leaving.”
Wonwoo promises with a nod and stands up. He wraps his arms around your waist again, hugging you close to his chest. You rest your hands on them and stand on your toes to finally reach his expecting lips.
You give him a quick close-mouthed peck and that’s it.
“You call that a kiss?” Wonwoo teases, tightly holding you because he’s not taking any chances of you escaping him again.
“I’m starting to dislike you,” you say while pouting.
“Not if I do this,” he refutes and pulls your chin up so that he can lean down to kiss you fully.
Just like that, Wonwoo steals your breath again and you don’t even know anymore if it’s doing your heart good or not.
You’re guessing it’s the former.

Your love for him was all consuming, even though you knew he would never fully be yours. You still held out hope. He invaded your thoughts every minute of every day. It was hard not to think about him, especially since you both work together. It started out with him just flirting, innocent really, and you didn’t mind to much. He was very handsome. Then you we’re both on a case in Belgium, some asset had to be taken care of after you extracted he necessary information. It was exhausting and when you arrived back to the hotel, you said your goodbyes to Dave and went to your room. There had been a sexual tension between you, but it never went past the flirting or lingering looks. You’d stepped out of your clothes ready to take a shower, when a loud frantic knock startles you. You walk up to the door and look out to see Dave, wrapping a towel around yourself, you open the door.
“Dave….is everything ok?”
His eyes skim over your figure and you feel hot under his gaze. His eyes finally meet yours and there blown wide with lust. You go to say something again but he pushes you inside. Closing the door, he pins you against it. You gulp nervously.
“Dave, what are you doing?”
He runs his fingers along your collarbone before slowly moving towards your breasts.
“Nothing….yet.”
His fingers undo your towel and you gasp as the cold air hits your exposed body. He groans at the sight of you naked before him.
“You don’t know how many times I’ve imagined you like this. Get me so hard, every damn time.” He grabs your breast and rubs the hardened bud of your nipple and you let a moan slip through your lips.
“Have you thought about me? I bet you have you naughty girl.”
“Dave please your married I…”
He puts a finger to your mouth. “Shh, let’s not think about that right now. It’s just you and me ok.” You open your mouth but words fail you, so you nod in understanding. He leans in and kisses you. It’s not soft or tender, it’s rough and desperate. He tastes of whiskey and you can’t get enough. He undoes his belt and lets his trousers fall to his knees. Grabbing one of your legs, he wraps it around his waist before running his tip of his cock along your slit gathering your juices. Without warning he thrusts up into you taking the breath from your lungs. His grip on your hip tightens as he fucks into you again and again, hitting that sweet spot. Your whole body is on fire and you can feel your climax building, waiting to explode.
“Fuck…..your so……tight…..wanted this…..so long…..god you were….made for me.”
You can’t take anymore as you come hard, your body shaking at the force of your climax. Dave let’s out a few grunts before he pulls out.
“Down on your knees.”
You do as he says and before your knees have touched the around he thrusts his cock into your mouth. He grips your hair as he pounds into you. You hollow out your cheeks and take him the whole way into your mouth. It sends him over the edge.
“Fuck!”
***
Things progressed from there. You would both hook up when you went on assignment together, or on occasion meet at a motel when the distance became to much. You’ve being his ‘bit on the side’ for over a year now and although you knew he had a wife and children, you can’t help but want more. Which brings you to your current predicament. Your standing in front of Dave as he sits in the motel bed, his head in his hands.
“We’ve been over this Y/N, I won’t leave my wife, you knew this from the beginning. I especially won’t leave my two girls.”
“Why? Why not when you clearly don’t love her.”
He looks at you know, eyes almost black, the Dave you’ve come to love gone.
“Oh so what? You think I should be with you, is that it. You think I love you? God your pathetic.”
“So you can honestly say you don’t have feelings for me?”
“I don’t have feelings for you. Your a good fuck, a great one actually, but that’s it.”
Walking up to him you move your hand under his chin. “Say that again, to my face. Look me in the eye and tell me you don’t love me.”
He stares at you for what feels like ages, then you see his eyes softening slightly, before he puts back on his poker face.
“You see, you can’t even say it’s not true. If had enough of this Dave I don’t want to sneak around anymore. I want to have a life with you, don’t we both deserve to be happy?”
“I am, the way things are.”
“Fine, if you won’t give me what I want, I’ll just have to take it myself.” You grab your purse and head for the door.
“Where are you going?”
“To your house to tell Carol what’s been going on.”
“She’s not home.”
“Fine then I’ll let myself in and wait for her. She’ll probably call the police but who cares.”
“If you break into my home the police are the least of your worries - in fact, they may be your only hope.”
“Is that a threat?”
“Do it and find out.” He’s beyond angry now and you know it. He’s stood merely inches from you, fists clenched at his sides.
“So you really don’t love me?”
“…..”
“Fine, then you won’t mind if I leave. Maybe I’ll find someone else to warm my bed at night, and who knows I may even marry them.” You know what your doing, hoping he takes the bait. He storm toward you, grabbing you by the throat. You let out a shaky breath as your back hits the door.
“Your mine. Understand?”
“You wish.”
He lets out a low growl and it sends a shockwave straight to your core. He puts his thigh between your legs keeping them apart. He runs his finger down your body until the reach your clit. His thumb rubs circle into it before he pushes two of his fingers into you. Your beyond delirious at this point, you’ve never been so turned in in your life.
“Yes…right there…Dave!”
Suddenly he pulls his fingers out leaving you feeling empty.
“Why’d you stop I was almost there?”
“The only way you’re getting off is on my thigh.”
You stare at him, but he doesn’t even flinch. “Your serious? You won’t make me come?”
“Make yourself.”
You huff in defeat as you begin to grind against his thigh. The heat quickly building again. He moves his hands to your hips and helps you move against him. You can feel how hard he is, his thick cock straining through his trousers. You lean your head back against the door as you come hard. Your whole body shivers as you scream his name like a prayer. You don’t get time to recover as he lifts you up and lays you on the bed. He strips you both of your clothes and begins kissing up your thigh. Looking you in the eye,
“You’ve been a good girl. Now let me SHOW you how I feel about you.” You bury your hands in his hair as he settles between your thighs. True to his word, he shows you how much he loves you all through the night.

Now, three years later she has a job , working as a live in house keeper for the Kim family, specifically for the son,  Kim Namjoon, a famous rapper and producer.
Its a job that puts a roof over her head and she’ll do anything to keep it.
But fate has other plans.
Chapter 1 ~
Akogare (ah-koh-ga-reh)Often translated directly as a sort of frustrated “yearning”, “desire”, or “longing” .
Seoul in summer was a sight to behold. I blinked back against the bright sunlight, staring out into the stunning skyline of the city as the sun rose over it , and although it was just a little past seven in the morning, the air was warm and invigorating. The mid July sun shone down with no mercy, and there was no trace of the rain that had lashed city just the previous night.
It had been three whole years but the relief that came from breathing fresh air, untainted by the damp musk of fishing trowels and sweaty men, was still unrivalled.
I shook off the feather duster in my hand, moving to carefully clean the wicker woven chairs on the artificial lawn in the balcony. Dusting the entire condo down was a mind numbing exercise in patience, so i tried to get it out of the way, early in the morning when my son was still asleep.
At six years old, Junsu was a bright , happy child. Summer vacation meant days sleeping in and evenings spent frolicking with the other kids in the building and he was content with being alone in our small shared room, reading or playing with his toys while I went about the day’s work.
I glanced at the clock, grimacing.
It was almost eight . And although Mr. Kim wasn’t due back home for another twelve hours, I felt a little jittery and nervous.
Kim Namjoon , renowned rapper, producer, writer , poet and what not. The apartment was his but he was usually on tour, traveling all over the world to promote his book and to perform in sold out stadiums. For an A list celebrity, he was surprisingly humble.
For the past three years, him and his model fiancée  Lee Mina had spent a total of maybe seven months in the condo. They were a sweet couple, or so I’d always thought , a bit formal with each other but clearly in love . Mr. Kim was a kind, soft spoken young man and I’d never heard him raise his voice unless he was in the company of his very dear friends.
Just a little over a week ago , both of them  had left Korea for the States , the tabloids screaming about a luxurious destination wedding in the Caribbean and I had been asked to take a few weeks off . The newly weds wouldn’t be back for quite a while and they would let me know when I had to come back to the condo.
I’d been toying with the idea of visiting my in laws in Gwangyog, maybe even dropping by to see some old friends there but yesterday , Mr. Kim’s mother had given me a call letting me know her son was coming home.
The conversation went something like this :
Yang Mi, I hope you haven’t left yet?
No, Ma'am, I haven’t.
Joon-ah is going to be back tomorrow.
Oh, is Ms Lee arriving as well?
No, Just him He’s going to be alone.
Yes, Ma'am.
Please don’t mention anything about Mina or the wedding.
No ma'am of course not.
I’ll drop by later . Cook him something warm and filling. And make sure the house is cleaned well.
Yes, Ma’ am.
]
And that was that.
~~~~~~
It took the better part of the day to finish cleaning and setting up the house . I washed the window slats, changed the sheets, arranged the books that had been left scattered all over his bedroom. The walk-in closet was littered with a bunch of his clothes and I made sure his gym bag was stocked with fresh towels, spare clothes and his favorite head and wrist bands.
For someone so careful and calculated, he was really quite a messy man.
i did his laundry, making sure he had ample clothes at least for another two weeks, creasing the handkerchiefs and carefully removing lint from his jackets.
I also carefully sorted out the feminine clothing from the laundry and from the cupboard, folding them neatly and placing them in the lowest shelf of the closet, where he wouldn’t find them. It wasn’t hard, hiding traces of his fiancee from the condo, because it had never really been her home. other than a few spare pieces of underwear and a couple of t shirts and skirts, there weren’t many articles of clothing belonging to Ms. Lee.
But I still got rid of the bobby pins and hair ties, the spare lip gloss and mascara.
Junsu spent the entire day in our room, reading and drawing, only venturing out every few hours to grab a snack. I left him with his drawing tab ( a gift from Mr. Kim for his 5th birthday )  and his favorite book, asking the security guard at the end of the hallway to keep an eye on the door, while i went out to buy groceries.
Lots of meat, no sea food, healthy snacks and high protein fiber bars. I stocked up on sauces and bought a fresh batch of eggs, oranges and grapes . Mrs. Kim had sent a large amount of kimchi a few weeks ago and that was still in the pantry.
i stopped for a second, staring around at the almost deserted store. Most of the other housekeepers shopped at the bigger, more exclusive store on the other side of the residential complex. But Mr. Kim had a very selective palette, which meant that I had to be very particular about the brands i bought.
When i came back home at around six, Junsu was on the floor in the living space and i felt my heart jump in panic.
“Baby!! I’ve told you not to come out here when I’m not home!” I protested bleakly and he pouted.
“I need to show you my gift for Mr. Kim!!” He said softly. I smiled moving to put away the groceries and glancing at the clock. It was a little past six. I had to call Yungyu.
“Did you draw him something ? “ I asked curiously, checking to see if the beer shelf was stocked. probably should have done that before going out for the groceries, I thought regretfully.
“Yeah! Look!!” Junsu held his tab out and my heart dropped.
For a six year old, Junsu drew very well. And there was really no mistaking the very obvious wedding scene on the screen.
Oh, Good God.
“ That looks amazing honey.” I said gently. “ But, I heard that Ms Lee isn’t coming over this time..”
Junsu frowned.
“Why?”
“Well, I’m not sure. But remember how we spoke about saying the right things? When something upsets someone, we do not bring it up.” I reminded him gently. My son hesitated but nodded.
“Okay. I’m sorry. “ He said softly.
“No baby, its not your fault. It’s just that we want Mr. Kim to be happy right? We don’t wanna upset him...”
He smiled at that.
“When he’s happy, his dimples come out.” He said with a giggle. I laughed.
“yes they do... So let’s try and get those dimples out as often as we can alright? Why don’t you show him that picture you drew of yeontan the other day? He’ll really like that....”
“Okay...but i need to go color it!” Junsu yelled, already running back into our room. I watched him go before reaching for the phone and dialing, Yungyu, the chauffeur.
“Are you on the way here? ” i said briskly.
“Just starting from home...” Yungyu muttered, “ I’m supposed to be on vacation now! Why is he coming back so soon?”
“Just hurry up !! We can’t keep him waiting!!” I said sharply, before hanging up.
I made a quick check of all the rooms, filling up water bottles for his gym routine in the morning and stashing them in the fridge before moving to get dinner started.
i set the water on boil for the stew, before moving to peel cucumbers for the salad. I chopped the cucumber , along with some fresh cherry tomatoes . I watched the water boil, thinly slicing an onion and adding it to the bowl as well. The dressing was pretty simple,  soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey and sesame oil . I sprinkled some sesame seeds on the bowl, used the salad tongs to give the whole thing a nice toss and set it aside.
I braised the chicken first , peeling and chopping potatoes and carrots to add to the stew . In a few minutes, the rich smell of lightly spiced chicken and garlic and perilla  leaves began filling the kitchen and I turned on the rice cooker as well.
The door bell rang at six forty and i opened the door to reveal Yungyu.
I grabbed the keys to the Palisade, handing them over to him.
“Did you hear?” He whispered urgently.
I frowned.
“What?”
“They say Mr. Kim called off the wedding!” He whispered, wide eyed.
I glared at him.
“Who told you that?” i demanded...
“Seojoon from the gate said-”
“Why don’t you ask Seojoon from the gate to mind his own damn business?” I snapped.
Yungyu looked suitably chastised. i felt a little bad. Yungyu was still young and curiosity was hardly a sin.
“His flight lands at eight exactly. Hurry okay?” I said with a smile, ruffling his hair.
He brightened, peering over my shoulder into the house.
“Where’s the little one?” He asked curiously.
“ Painting something for Mr. Kim... Go ahead, hurry up.” I shooed him away, locking the door behind him. I fixed a plate of food for Junsu and sent him to eat, before moving to check on the stew. +
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
By the time eight thirty rolled around I had the table set and ready. I washed my face quickly in the small bath attached to our room , making sure I was dressed well. Junsu wasn’t allowed in the main house unless Mr. Kim specifically asked for him and my son usually stayed in.
Junsu and I stayed in a bedroom , not large by any means but big enough for a queen sized bed, a table and chair for Junsu and small dresser where I kept a comb and a tube of night cream. I stared at my face, licking my lips as I smoothed my hair out.
I glanced at the bed.
Junsu was asleep , having dozed off while coloring his picture and I carefully extracted the tab from under his fingers, moving him around to lay on the soft pillows. I tucked him in gently, brushing the hair off his face.
“In peace , I will lie down to sleep, for You alone will let me rest in safety.” I whispered gently against his forehead, kissing the soft skin. I felt my lips wobble , a debilitating wave of affection flooding me as the sweet scent of my baby, filled my senses.
 I would die for you, I thought fiercely, kissing him again.
The sound of the front door opening made me jump.
Swearing, i smoothed the fabric of my skirt, running to the kitchen.
“Thank you for picking me up Yungyu, I’m sorry you had to cut short on your vacation.” Mr. Kim’s deep voice filled the hallway and I quickly grabbed a glass, filling it with water and placing it on the dinner tray.
“Not a problem, Sir. “ Yungyu’s cheerful voice responded.
“How are you going home?” Mr. Kim asked.
“I’ll take the bus.”
A pause and then,
“Here’s some cash. Get a cab.”
I could hear the relief in Yungyu’s voice as he let out a , “ Thank you sir.”
I fixed his plate carefully, the bowl of rice, the bowl of chicken stew, and the salad neatly arranged next to the napkin and the chopsticks. I heard him move across the condo, the sound of his suitcases as he wrestled them towards his bedroom and I frowned. Yungyu should’ve have brought those in for him.
I finished reheating all of the food and carefully carried the dinner tray to the bedroom.
Mr. Kim’s bedroom was right at the end of the hallway and the door was open. The full length mirror on the opposite wall showed him sitting on the small couch in his room, legs spread and elbows resting on his knees as he ran his fingers through his hair.
I raised my hand, ready to knock on the wood.
“Fuck!” He shouted, kicking out at the coffee table with enough force to send the furniture skidding half way across the room.
I froze in the hallways stunned.
“You’re such a fucking fool , Namjoon !!” He muttered angrily and I swallowed, turning on my heel and quickly walking back to the kitchen.
Maybe I ought to wait till he asked for dinner.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He didn’t ask for dinner.
I stayed sitting on the floor of the kitchen, waiting and lightly dozing as I heard him talk to his parents on the phone. I heard him open the liquor cabinet in his room, the sound of ice sloshing against glass, the sound of whiskey being poured carefully and i sighed.
I had to get to bed. It was already a little past eleven.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometime in the night, I woke up sweating....
Wondering what woke me up, I blinked groggily, glancing at Junsu. He was still sound asleep.
Sighing, I climbed out of the bed, carefully making my way to Mr. Kim’s room, peering in carefully.
He was asleep on the sofa.
I stared at the way his long legs stretched over the armrest, his lean hips twisted to accommodate his broad shoulders on the couch and I winced. He was definitely going to regret that in the morning.
I stared at the half empty bottle of whiskey on the table and sighed, moving to take off his shoes carefully. He didn’t stir.
I grabbed a pillow from the bed, carefully lifting his head and slipping it under. I placed a comforter over his shoulders, pulling it down to cover his legs.
Force of habit almost made me brush his hair off his forehead but I stopped myself.
The clock on the wall read three fifty am. God, I was going to feel terrible tomorrow. I carefully tip toed out, shutting the door behind me
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I picked the comforter from the floor, carefully folding it and placing it on the bed, before grabbing the empty bottle of whiskey and glass . i could hear the shower running. The curtains were still drawn in and I tugged on the strings to get them to open. Sunlight spilled in through the floor length windows. The bed wasn’t slept in, so I opened the closet to grab a couple of towels, laying them on the bed for him.
The bathroom door opened and i quickly straightened, wanting to race out of the room but it was too late. Thankfully he was dressed,  a pair of loose sweats and a loose t shirt . He was running a towel through his hair and his face brightened at the sight of me.
“Yang Mi! You’re here....” He said cheerfully.
“Good morning sir.” I said softly, offering him a small smile.
He smiled brightly, hair damp and dimples deep. The white t shirt he had on was almost fully soaked through and he shook his head, sending stray water droplets all over the place, a few landing on my cheeks.
“I didn’t see you last night...” He said casually, moving to drop the wet towel in the hamper, grabbing one of the fresh ones I’d laid on the bed.
“I thought you would like your privacy sir, you looked exhausted.”
He smiled.
“ Thank you for the blanket and the pillow by the way. And the shoes.”
I bowed quickly.
“I’ll get your breakfast done, sir.” I bowed again before quickly getting out.
I moved to the kitchen grabbing the oranges I’d got the previous day . Mr. Kim wasn’t fond of traditional korean dishes in the morning. He preferred freshly squeezed juice and toast, sometimes with an omelet perhaps.
I fixed his breakfast quickly, setting it all in the tray . He was still moving around in the bedroom and I heard him drag his worktable to the windows, which meant he was going to stay in the bedroom.
Pouring his coffee into a cup, I carefully picked up the breakfast tray , moving to his room slowly.
I used my foot to knock on the door.
After a pause of a few seconds,
“Come in Yang Mi!”
I carefully moved to the small table in front of the couch, placing the tray right in front of him. The scent of his body wash, green apple and strawberries, hit me hard.
“Where’s Junsu?” He asked casually.
“Still asleep sir. It’s Summer so school’s out.” I smiled, grabbing his phone from the table to make space for his tray.
The phone buzzed just as I was about to place it back down and I blinked.
 Mina calling.......
 I swallowed, not sure what to do, placing the phone down quickly.
“Uh..you have ...” I waved vaguely at the device before bowing again and moving back.
“close the door on your way out, Yang Mi...” He said gently and I quickly obeyed.
I moved to the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee for myself. I stayed leaning over the counter and even through the locked door, I could hear him .
“Just don’t call me Mina...i don’t want to talk about this!!!”
I swallowed, glancing out of the window again. It was a bright, clear morning.
A second later, the door to his bedroom slammed open and he stormed out. I watched him from my spot in the kitchen, his fists clenched as he rushed out to the front door.
The door shut behind him and I exhaled.
Once I as done with my coffee, I moved to his room to clear the breakfast tray. His phone was still on the table.
It began ringing again just as I left the room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Mrs. Kim.” i said respectfully, bowing . She gave me a short smile.
“Where’s Namjoon? I’ve been calling him for the past hour.” She pushed past me into the house and I bit my lips.
“He went out about an hour ago. He left his phone behind.” I explained.
She stopped, sighing.
“Fine, I’ll wait for him. “ She moved to sit on the couch, glancing around the room.
“Should I get you something ma'am?” I asked softly and she smiled.
“Get me a glass of lemonade, Yangmi.” She said brusquely and i nodded, running to the kitchen.
“Did Mina come over?” She called out as I got the lemons out of the cooler.
“No ma'am.” i replied.
“Did she call?”
  I remembered the phone ringing, how upset it had made Namjoon, how he had stormed out.
“I don’t know ma'am!” I said softly.
She nodded.
“Okay. You can leave.” She said quietly. i bowed and went back into the kitchen.
I peered out of the window as I fixed her a glass , and my eyes fell on a familiar figure, coming back in through the front gate. Even from this distance there was no mistaking the long legs and messy blonde hair.
I bit my lips, mind racing.
 Mrs Kim and her son had a volatile relationship, to say the least.
And something told me that Mr. Kim was probably not in the right frame of mind to argue with his mother, now. The man was upset but apparently, neither his mother nor his ex fiancée understood that. instead of giving him space they were hounding him.
I hesitated for a second  before making a quick decision.
I grabbed the tray with her lemonade and moved to her quickly.
“Thank you.” She said sharply. “ Turn on the Air Conditioner for me, will you?”
I fumbled with the remote, grabbing his phone from the table , turning it on before moving to the front door and rushing out.
I almost ran into him as he came out of the elevator , and i jerked back stumbling a bit to stop myself from crashing into his chest. He let out a , ‘ Whoa, “  his hands reaching out to grip my elbows.
“Careful. What’s wrong?” He asked gently and I swallowed.
“Your mother’s here.” I said quickly, “ Sir.”
“Oh, fuck.” He groaned. I swallowed.
“You can leave.” I blurted out. “It’s Tuesday. She has her charity work meeting at ten. Its almost nine. She won’t stay long....”
His eyes met mine, lips parting in surprise.
“I really can’t meet her now.” He said apologetically.
I nodded.
“Of course, I understand , sir. Just be back in an hour , she’ll be go-”
The elevator buzzed , the doors nearly closing over my shoulders and I flinched. He swore and stuck his arm out to keep it open.
I stared at him before holding his phone out.
“Here you go sir. “
He chuckled taking it from me and shaking his head.
“i feel like a kid, sneaking away from my mom.” His eyes reached mine, twinkling, “ Who would’ve thought the quiet, timid Yang Mi would be my partner in crime. “
I didn’t reply, just smiled.
And then he hesitated. “ Is Junsu awake?”
I blinked.
“Uh...yes sir,...he’s playing in the park downstairs with the other kids.”
“Great... Would you mind if i take him out for ice cream?”
I stared at him.
“Oh..uh...of course not. Sure.. I mean.. he’ll love that... Sir. Thank you.. You don’t have to -”
“Consider it thank you for helping me with my mother.” He smiled again and i found myself staring at his dimples again. i swallowed.
“in that case, he loves butter scotch.” I smiled.
The dimples appeared and i bit my lips.
“Thank you Yang Mi.” He said slowly.
“Yes, Sir.”
