Fiona <3
Tumblr media
You worked with her at the diner and it was time for closing, it was just you two cleaning up before you turned the lights out. You kept eyeing her from across the diner; seeing her bend over the tables, tuck her bottom lip under her teeth when she would scrub a stubborn spot, pushing back strands of hair that left her ponytail. It was torturous watching her like that. You knew she just got out of a relationship with Jimmy/Steve so you worried that maybe it would be too soon to tell Fiona how you felt but it was getting more to be harder everyday that you had to watch her and see her. Eventually you couldn't take it so you "accidentally" dropped one of the coffee cups and Fiona immediately offered to help you clean it up. When you two ducked to the back to toss the pieces of the cup, you pulled her back before she could return to cleaning and kissed her. To your surprise, she didn't try to push you off and even stayed back a bit longer after closing at the back of the diner with you

Lip
Tumblr media
It was the same as Karen, you were a little behind on history and Lip needed some extra money so he decided to tutor you. The first couple lessons were innocent enough, it stayed strictly as tutoring. But as the lessons went, you two got closer. He would scoot his chair closer to you, he would stay behind after the lessons for a bit to have a smoke and chill with you till it happened. You were scribbling on the paper aimlessly while Lip read the textbook to you and explaining what it meant in more detail not that you were listening, you were too busy admiring him and his voice but you tried to pay as good attention as you could. Your pencil slipped out your hand and rolled to the floor between you two. You both bent down to grab it, smacking your foreheads together as he groaned and you laughed. He was rubbing his forehead when he looked at you with those eyes, those eyes you could stare at for hours as you began to lean in, as did he till your lips touched. His hands snaking down to your butt and thighs, pulling you off of your chair and into his lap.
❦❦❦
Ian
Tumblr media
Childhood friends, you two had grown up with each other and knew each other better than anyone else. He was your first crush and you were his but you were both two stubborn to admit. After Ian dumped Mickey, you were conflicted on what to do; you had a chance to either make your childhood fantasies come true or completely ruin a lifetime of friendship. It started with leaving little crumpled notes in places that he would find eventually, than turned into leaving articles of clothing at his place when you would sleepover till you eventually just flat out said that you wanted Ian in that way. You braced yourself for the rejection, turning to the door to leave his room till he grabbed you and smashed his lips against yours passionately finally admitting what he had wanted to say for years.
❦❦❦
Debbie
Tumblr media
You met Debbie through Franny's school where you worked, she was by far your favourite of the mom's to converse with when they would come to pick up their kids. Debbie was typically the last parent to come pick up their kid, not that you complained. You absolutely adored Franny and you liked getting to catch up with Debbie. But one day, it was a Friday so you sat with Franny at one of the little tables waiting for Debbie to come pick her up while you ate lunch with Franny. Franny was eating her typical peanut butter and jelly, her mouth was full as she said "mommy keeps talking about you Mrs/Mr L/N". You weren't sure if you heard her right but she continued when her mouth wasn't full, "she says your name when she's in her room for private time." Okay you were sure you heard Franny right now and when Debbie came to pick up Franny, you decided to follow the two out to your car which was parked beside Debbie's. Debbie was in the car, Franny in her car seat and Debbie's window was rolled down as she talked to you. Eventually you just leaned in and pecked her lips, leaving Debbie flustered as you winked, "I'll see you tomorrow Miss Gallagher."
❦❦❦
Carl
Tumblr media
You were at an arcade and challenged him to a game of basketball, Just for the fuck of it. You won of course, by pure dumb luck because athletics were not within your department. Carl tussled for the ball, demanding a rematch and you refused, screaming that he was being a sore loser. He chuckled and reached for the ball that your arms stretched to the back of your head, as it you really could evade him. It was like he planned it yet it also felt so improved, smug bastard. It was fast, his arm snaked around your waist and planted his lips on yours. You could be imagining things, but you could have swore Carl took a second to inhale you, taking you all in. For what felt like an eternity was over in a flash when you heard a thump on the floor. He got the ball and you were subjected to a rematch

Your Pov
I’ve known the Gallaghers since I was very young. We’ve always been neighbors and I've always thought of them as family. A few years ago, I started developing a crush on my bestfriend, Debbie. At first, I thought it was normal to have these feelings for your best friend.
Around two weeks ago, I decided to do something stupid.
Flashback
Debbie asked me to come over today because she has something to tell me. After I got her text, I decided today was the day I’m going to tell her about my feelings. I texted her back and said I have something to tell her as well.
As I walked up the steps to the Gallagher house, my palms were getting sweaty and my heartbeat was rising.
I walked into the house, going straight to Debbie’s room. When I opened the door to her room, she was laying in bed reading a book on her stomach. I shut the door and cleared my throat. “ Debbie, I'm here. What did you have to tell me?”
I must have scared her because she shot up with wide eyes. “ Holy shit! Don’t scare me like that.” She practically screamed. I walked further into her room and sat on her bed next to her.
“ Sorry, I thought your door slamming shut would have warned you.” I told her. She stood up and walked over to her desk, picking something up. “ Sooo, what did you have to tell me?” I asked.
Debbie walked back over to me with something in her hand. She handed it to me and I looked at it. It was a letter from Carl. “Carl’s coming back from Military School in two weeks. He wanted to make sure you were there.” She told me as I read the letter. “ So, what did you need to talk to me about? “ Debbie asked me.
“Um, well. You have to promise not to laugh or get mad at me.” I said avoiding her gaze. She mumbled an “Ok.”
I felt her sit down on the bed next to me. “ For around two years now, I’ve had a crush on you. I know you don’t like girls, so I just wanted to get it over with.” I felt tears brimming my eyes as I looked at her. She had a funny look on her face.
I got up quickly and started leaving her room. “ Now that I’ve made it weird, I’m going to leave.”  Debbie didn’t try to stop me as I left.
Current Time
Carl was coming back from Military School today. I don’t know why he wanted me there, because I honestly didn’t want to be anywhere near Debbie after I embarrassed myself. The party starts at 5 and it’s currently 4:45. I’m dressed to go, but I don’t know if I should.
I stare at myself in the mirror. I’m not wearing anything special, just a t-shirt and jeans with sneakers. Looking over at the clock in my room, I decide I should go, just to welcome Carl back home.
When I reached the Gallagher house, I could already hear people laughing and music playing. I could make out Fiona and Veronica talking. I walked into the house and spotted everyone in the living room.
I walked over to where Fiona and Veronica were sitting on the couch and sat with them. “ Hey Y/n, I haven’t seen you around lately.” Fiona commented when she spotted me.
“Yeah, I’ve been busy with work the past few weeks.” I told her. There was no way I was going to tell her the real reason I wasn’t around. Before she could say anything else, the door opened and Carl walked in.
My eyes widened at how much he changed in a few months. Carl walked inside with his school uniform on and his hair was shorter than before he left for school.
He looked around the room with a huge grin on his face. “I’m home!” He said. Fiona was the first to get up and hug him. He walked farthing into the living room while we all got up to welcome him home.
I walked towards him and gave him a hug while whispering, “ Welcome home Carl.” When we pulled away he had a strange look in his eyes.
“Thank you for being here.” He said.
I told him, “You’re welcome,” and walked away.
An hour has passed and we’re all eating. I’m sitting in the living room with Carl, Debbie and Ian. Debbie keeps glancing at me like she wants to say something. Before she can, Carl starts talking to me.
“So, Y/n. Did you miss me while I was at school?” He asked me. I looked up from my plate to him.
“A little. Probably not as much as your family though.” I said. When I looked at him, I noticed his face had gotten more defined and less kid-like from when he left.
He chuckled at the comment I made. Carl’s voice and laugh had gotten deeper, and I’ll admit, It was a little attractive. Before either of us could say anything else, Debbie started talking.
“Y/n, Can I talk to you upstairs?” Debbie said, already heading up. I sighed while putting my plate down and followed Debbie. She stopped in the middle of the halfway and turned around to face me. “ Do you have a thing for Carl?” She asked.
I stared at her with my eyebrows drawn together. “ No, why?”
“ You guys were all cozy on the couch, so I wanted to know before I told you something.” Debbie said quickly. She inhaled deeply and said, “ I did some experimenting and I think I like girls.”
I stood there stunned and slightly confused.Just two weeks ago, she was getting ready to laugh at me because I had feelings for her. “ I’m glad you're figuring yourself out, but what does that have to do with me?” I ask her.
“I have feelings for you.” Debbie admitted. I was frozen in my spot. “ Please say something Y/n.”
“I-I don’t know what to say. You practically rejected my feelings when I told you I liked you. Now, all of a sudden, you have feelings for me that just showed up out of nowhere just from some experimentation you did with other girls.” I was starting to get angry at her now.
Debbie was frozen from my outburst. I didn’t care though, I was trying to get over my crush on her. I turned around and started walking back down the steps. When I went to sit back down, I noticed Carl was gone. “ Where did Carl go?” I asked Ian, who was still sitting in the chair watching t.v.
Ian looks at me and tells me, “ He left. He was mumbling about how Debbie always ruins stuff or something. I wasn’t really listening.” He went back to watching the t.v.
“Ok, thanks Ian.” I told him. I walked to the kitchen, where Fiona was putting stuff away. “ Hey Fi, I’m gonna head home, I got work early tomorrow.”
Fiona turned her head to look at me with a smile. “ Thanks for coming tonight. Carl really appreciates it.” She said before turning back to what she was doing. I started heading home.
Carl Pov
Neither of them knew I was around the corner listening to them. I can’t believe the girl I’ve had a crush on for three years likes my sister.
When I was away at Military School, I wrote letters to her, but never sent them. I was always too scared of what she would think if her best friend's younger brother had a long standing crush on her.
When I heard Y/n say all that stuff about her crush on Debbie, I got angry and sad. I didn’t stay around long enough to hear what she was saying. I ran out the front door and kept running. I didn’t know where I was going, I just kept running.
After running for about 5 minutes I stopped. My phone buzzed so I took it out of my pocket to check it. It was Y/n.
Hey, just wanted to say welcome home again. A little sad I didn’t get to say bye to you before I went home. Hope you have a good night. -Y/N
She was always so nice to me. I thought my feelings for her were mutual. Apparently I was wrong. I shut my phone off and started to head back home.
As I was walking home, I started thinking. Maybe it would be best if I told Y/n about my crush on her. It wouldn’t do any harm. I know she likes Debbie, so I should just get it over with.
After I got home, I ran up to my room where I had hid all the letters I wrote Y/n. I took the box they were in and went to her house. It was dark out now and no lights were on in her house when I got there.
I sat down on Y/n’s porch and started to think about what I should say. Should I just give her the box of letters and let her read them? Should I not even give her the letters? Do I just tell her about my crush on her straight forward?
I must have fallen asleep at some point because I woke up to someone kicking my side. ‘ Wake up Carl!” I knew that voice. That voice was the reason I was here in the first place. “Carl, I’m going to be late for work. Get off my porch.”
I sat up and looked next to me where Y/n was standing. She was in her uniform for work and had a bag on her shoulder. “ I was waiting for you. I need to talk to you about something important.” I told her.
“ I can’t talk right now, Carl. I’ll be late for work and they’ll fire me.” Y/n said.
I sighed and stood up. “ That’s ok. I guess I’ll talk to you later then.” I started walking home but I had a weird feeling in my chest.
Your Pov
Carl looked sad when he left my porch. He was acting strange as well. Maybe it was because he had just woken up.
I couldn’t stop thinking about him on my way to work. Carl seems like a whole new person from before he left for school. He seems kinder. My thoughts kept going to how good he looked last night. I’ve never found Carl attractive, but last night, he sparked something in me. Something I didn’t feel even for Debbie.
About 3 hours into my shift, Carl showed up. “ Y/n, this morning after I left your house, did you see a small wooden box anywhere?” Whenever I moved, Carl also moved. He was following me around the restaurant.
“ No, Carl. I didn’t see anything because I was in a rush. Now can you please let me get back to work?” I turned around and stared at him with an eyebrow raised. I didn’t mean to sound the way I did. It’s just been a rough day.
He dipped his head and said, “ If you find the box, just let me know. Ok?” I nodded my head and he left.
When I got home after work, my dad was sitting in the living room. Normally when I get off work, he's down at the Alibi. I stopped when I saw him.
“Your boyfriend left something on the porch.” He shoved a box at me as he stood from the couch. “I’m going to the Alibi. Don’t call me unless the house is on fire.” He pushed me out of the way and left.
I walked to my room with the box under my arm. After I got dressed, I sat on my bed and opened the box. It was full of letters addressed to me. I opened the letter that was on top. It was dated 2 days ago. As I read it, I felt as though I was invading someone's privacy because whoever wrote the letter was spilling their guts into it like they didn’t expect me to read it.
When I got to the end it was signed. And it was signed by one of the people I’d least expected.
I took the box with the letter still in my hand and ran to the Gallagher house. When I ran inside, I found the person I was looking for sitting on the couch. Carl.
“Is all this true Carl?” I asked with tears brimming my eyes. A million different emotions were running through me. “Do you really have feelings for me?” I could feel tears going down my face.
He stood up from the couch and stared at me with wide eyes. He was frozen. We stood there staring at each other for a few minutes before Fiona got home. “Did you two get into a fight? What’s going on?” She asked, confused as to why I was crying and Carl was standing there like a deer caught in headlights.
“Nothing’s going on Fiona. I was just returning something to Carl.” I told her as I set the box and letter down. I was about to leave when Carl stopped me.
Grabbing my arm, he pulled me back so we were face to face. “ Stay, please. I want to explain what you read.” He didn’t wait for me to answer before he pulled me up to his room. “ You can keep the letters. They were all written for you when I was at school.” He sighed before continuing. “ I developed feelings for you about a year ago, right after I got out of juvie. You were one of the only people there for me and seemed to understand what I was going through.”
I know exactly what he’s talking about. When I was 14, I got into a bit of trouble and spent a few months in juvie. “ Carl, why didn’t you just tell me this when the feelings started?” I asked him.
“ You were always with Debbie. I could never get you alone. I know you like Debbie anyways, that's why I haven’t told you.” Carl seemed to be getting sad. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to say to him. My feelings are all over the place. One minute, I have feelings for Debbie, the next I’m finding Carl attractive.
“Carl, I need some time please. Don’t take this as a rejection. I just need to think.” Without waiting for his reply, I leave. Before I exit the house, I take the letter and box.
Carl Pov
It’s been three days since I told Y/n about my feelings for her. I haven’t bothered her because I want her to have space and time to think. Debbie hasn’t been hanging out with her lately either.
It’s close to 2 am when I get a text.
Can you come outside? I have to talk to you. - Y/n
Without missing a beat I run downstairs and open the front door. She’s standing on the sidewalk in front of the house. I close the door and walk over to her. “If you’re going to tell me you don’t have feelings for me, you don’t have to. I honestly expect it.” I told her.
“Carl, you need to learn to not jump to conclusions.” She says. “ I wanted to tell you that I like you too. I read all the letters you wrote and I realized I wasted so much time having a crush on your sister, that I missed what a great person you truly are.” I was surprised at what she said.
I walked up to Y/n and gave her a hug. As I release her from the hug I say, “ I’m speechless. Do you really like me back?” She nodded her head. “Well, would you like to go out tomorrow? Like on a date?” I asked her.
“Sure, Carl. I would love to.” Y/n Said with a smile. I gave her another hug with a giant smile on my face.
With her still in my arms, I lifted her up and took her to my room. “ Stay the night with me please?” I asked as I set her down.
She looked at me with a smile and nodded her head. This may be the best moment of my life.

Debbie Cheated [D.G]
Cheater/Debbie Gallagher X Reader Headcanon

A/n - Sorry if I got some facts wrong; it's been a long time since I've seen the show.
Warning! Spoilers, Small mention of forced sexual deeds

Okay, sorry but you should already know that if Debbie was desperate enough to lose her virginity by forcing someone to sleep with her then y'all should know that there's a good chance that she might cheat.
I mean seriously, she got pregnant with her first boyfriend, and he didn't even want this and told her multiple times.
Not to mention at some point she got with this damaged guy name Neil all because she needed a way to support her baby and her own lifestyle.
SHE CHEATED ON HIM.
So, what makes you think she won't cheat on you?
Once she loses interest she will leave.
If she finds someone better, she'll leave.
Of course, that's not saying she won't stay if she actually loves you.
However, if she only sees you as an atm then sorry buddy you're just being used.
She's not below using people to her advantage.
Sadly, I have a feeling she can't even see her wrongdoings sometimes.
But if you do end up catching her cheating, she will try to explain and apologizes.
It can go in different ways.
If she's only using, you. She wouldn't really seem sad she'd explain herself quickly without putting much thought and forget about it later. Like it never happened.
But if she does care about you, she'd push harder to get you to forgive her.
She'd promise never to cheat again, which she probably wouldn't if she was in love with you.
Now if she didn't like you and she just used you she wouldn't care at all until you kick her out.
Then she'll start begging.
What sucks was that you were never really a boyfriend to her, more like a babysitter.
Eventually you'd probably find someone better just like Neil did.
Overall if she didn't love you, she wouldn't care, and she wouldn't even deny it if she got caught. All she will worry about is if you'd kick her out.
However, if she did love you. She wouldn't even cheat to begin with but if she did, she probably would have been drunk or something.
She would apologize so much and try to fix things.
Obviously if she did it with a stranger than that was only a one-night stand and it will never happen again but if it was a friend, she'd just ignore them or not talk to them for a long while just to make you feel better about trusting her again.
She'd do anything to get you to forgive her if she actually love you.
Question is would you actually give her a second chance?
Bad habits die hard, right?

shy reader and lip are my favorite. but i was thinking maybe she’s like that because of family? they’re mean to her so it’s better for her to keep to herself and she doesn’t tell lip anything until he sees it for himself
thank you for the request, anon! I'm thinking northside!reader for this one
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
We're walking to my house, the thin layer of snow crunching beneath our feet. Although I'm thankful that my private school allows long pants in the winter time, and that we're provided with a thick knit sweater as a part of our uniform options, I'm still freezing. I don't know how Lip does it. He seems just fine with his jeans and layered flannel.
"You cold?" He breaks the comfortable silence, and I nod, knowing that if I speak, my teeth will clatter together. He pulls me into him, his arm wrapping around my shoulder. It's nice, just the two of us and the snow. It's quiet and peaceful.
We reach my front door and I unlock it, inviting Lip inside. He takes his shoes off and follows me into my bedroom, where he sits on my bed. It's not our usual routine. Normally I prefer going to his house, but my family was going to be home early because of some special news coming from Harvard University for my sister. Lip decided yesterday he would spend time with me until he had to sneak out of my window so I'd be on time for dinner.
I sigh, joining Lip on my bed, Wuthering Heights in hand.
"Read to me?" I mumble. He's prepared for the question, and no matter how many times he smiles and says yes, I'm still a little embarrassed. It's easier when he reads to me because I can hear his voice reading the lines in my head. He smiles like he usually does, leaning back and taking the book from me. I lean against him, listening as he reads.
"Y/N!" I hear my mom call from downstairs. I look at Lip apologetically, telling him I'll be right back. I trudge down the stairs, trying to delay whatever my mom has to say. I walk into the kitchen, joining her and my siblings. Oh joy.
"Why didn't you put the dishes away?" She asks, annoyed at my presence. I can feel myself fold in slightly, ready for whatever the family wants to pile on me.
"I- I'm sorry, mom, it's just that the oceanography club ran late-" she cuts me off, not needing to hear my explanation.
"I don't care what happened, Y/N. You have these things to take care of because the rest of us are doing more important things. Your father and I both work full time jobs all day. Your brother is a football captain, and your sister is president of the debate team. They have well-fulfilled, promising lives in front of them. What do you have? A weird obsession with fish."
"I concur," my sister chimes in. "Are you like, attracted to them?" My brother laughs, joining in on the game. "Probably, I mean it's not like she's pretty enough to date a human!"
They continue to take turns, finding whatever flaws they can to comment on. I shrink into myself, waiting for them to get distracted by their own arrogance and start talking about themselves.
This moment comes like it usually does, but never fast enough. I walk away as quietly as possible, and return to my room. Lip looks at me, his eyes searching mine. He still has Wuthering Heights open, his thumb and index finger holding the spine open to the page we left off on. He places the book face down beside him on the bed, silently opening his arms in a welcoming gesture. Without hesitation, I take my spot in his arms as he pulls me into his chest, stroking my hair softly. I try to bite back my tears, but a few escape, and suddenly he has tear stains on his shirt.
"I'm so sorry, baby," he whispers to me, swaying slightly. "I didn't know. We'll figure something out, 'kay? No reason you can't come stay with me. The kids love you, and Fiona'll come around when we tell her what's goin' on. You and me, right?"
I smile slightly, nodding against him. "Right."

I read the lip fic with opposites reader can you write a oneshot on when they first met or when she first met his family?
Hiii!! another one shot of rich reader x Lip gallagher! hope you enjoy 😘
Tumblr media
"Ian... I'm nervous I don't think they'll like me."
"will you relax.  Of course they will!"
You and your best friend Ian were about to go meet the entirety of the Gallagher family.  You were beyond nervous.  the only reason you knew Ian was because you had a crush on him and you asked him out.  He obviously said no which upset you at first until he explained he was gay.  after that, you two were inseparable.
Pulling up to the Gallagher house, you felt nervous butterflies enter your stomach.  what if they hated you? what if they were mean?  what if-
"ready?" ian pulled you out of your thoughts as you got out of your BMW.
"you might want to lock the car." he chuckles.
As you walk closer to the door, you can hear more and more commotion coming from the inside of the house.  Instead of knocking, he barges right in and allows you a few seconds to really take in the scene.  Two kids, boy and girl, arguing over a computer, a baby crawling around, and a girl probably in her twenties scrambling around the kitchen.  Finally, you see a boy probably your age smoking a blunt on the couch while watching "to catch a predator".
He was a sight.  He was hot.  you've seen him around school before, but you don't know his name.  He's known for doing kids homework if you pay him well enough.
"well well well, look what ian brought here." he gives you a smirk and a once over before adding, "ian found himself some rich girl to smooch off of."
instead of letting ian talk, you immediately say, "sounds like someone's just jealous that you need to do loser's homework to get money."
he looks shocked for a second before adding, "big mouth too.  You smoke?"
"no of course not.  it's terrible for your lungs and I do cheer."
"oh she does cheer?!  her little lungs can't handle it." he mocks a sad face before you add
"at least I'll be alive when my grandkids are born."
he chuckles before taking a drag and going back to his show. ian takes this as invitation to take your hand and lead you to the kitchen.  Where it appears people multiplied as there is now another girl and a guy, you're inferring are a couple.
"hey guys,  this is y/n.  I invited her over for dinner I hope that's okay." he looks at fiona as the commotion stops for a second.
"Yeah that's fine.  I'm fiona." she gives you a slight wave as she continues scurrying around.
the little girl is the first to run up to you.
"I'm debbie!  you're like soooooo pretty!! are you and Ian dating?" she was so cute.
"umm no we're just friends"
"then who is your boyfriend?"
"alright shut up debbie!  I'm carl, but you can call me yours."
"yeah i think you're just a little too young for me."
"give it time sweetthing, give it time."
You found yourself getting along really well with the Gallagher family, plus Kev and V you learned.  During dinner, you and the Lip kid kept staring at each other.  You thought he was giving you dirty looks. Maybe it wasn’t going well. You, Fiona, and V end up in a deep conversation about boys, when V mentions, "i saw how you were looking at Lip, it's around 9 right now so if you want to go outside he'll be there smoking a cigarette." Fiona slaps her arm while V defends, "what?! I know sexual tension when i see it!"
"thank you V, but i don't think it's anything like that." you say while standing up to go outside.
"then why is your ass getting closer to the door?" she laughs.
"you know those things will kill you, it's not just a myth."
"that's okay. I’m experimenting to see if i’m the expectation.”
“is that your car?” you point to a beat up car sitting in their yard.
“yeah and no. It doesn’t drive, but i do bring girls here everyone once in a while. wanna hop inside?”
“if you’re insinuating what i think you are-“
“i’m not trust me.”
“whatever Gallagher.”
you two made your way inside the crammed car and it did definitely smell like weed and sex. He wasn’t kidding…
“so… you and ian?” he seriously didn’t know yet?
“umm no just friends. i’ve truthfully never had a boyfriend.”
“a girl like you never having a boyfriend? let me guess… too rich for all the south side boys? or maybe just too hot for all the losers at our school.” that comment made you blush, you were just praying he didn’t catch on.
“you know i’m not some stuck up rich girl right?”
“oh really? Let’s see, your whole family could buy mine. are you sure you’re not that rich?”
“ok fine but i’m not stuck up.”
“you are a little…” he adds wirh a small laugh
“oh yeah? give me that cigarette” you demand. he hands it over and watches curiously as you put it to your lips and suck. immediately, you start coughing which causes him to laugh, “oh god you weren’t kidding that you’ve never had one.”
“you thought i was lying?”
“maybe. thought you might have some secret life behind all the cheer and money.”
“well I do. I’m not like my family i promise.”
“well if you’re not like your family, how about you stay the night and we can just hang out.”
“you better not be insinuating anything again or i swear i’ll-“
“i’m not, you can sleep in ian’s bed, or even mine and i’ll sleep on the couch.”
“thank you Lip. I’d love to.”
little did you know that was the beginning spark of a beautiful relationship
i hope you enjoyeddd!! what else should Lip and y/n get into?? maybe some drama?

12 Days of Ficmas ❅ Day 4
Tumblr media
Word Count: 1.6K Paring:  Lip Gallagher x Fem!Reader Prompt @a-cure-for-writers-block:  mothering their S/Os younger siblings and making sure they're getting enough to eat
Summary:  Lip Gallagher has had a hell of a year, and most of the time he doesn't think he deserve the mercy he's been shown. But (Y/N) will stop at nothing to make sure he and his family know they are taken care of. And he knows it.
A/N: a bit late, but still published. Also, this is very short and sweet and does not follow the canon after season 5. Kind of went off path to give Lip a bit of a quicker redemption. Hope y'all enjoy!

Tumblr media
“Yo, Lip,” Ian’s sleepy voice rang through his brother’s phone. “Uh, your girlfriend is over here, and I think she’s gone crazy.”
“What you mean?” Lip chuckled as he rubbed his hands together to warm them up. “‘Cause that’s a lot coming from you.”
“Very funny,” he laughed sarcastically. “No, but she made Christmas puke on the house, and she’s been cooking nonstop since this morning. She hounded us all morning until we ate breakfast and wouldn’t stop until we sat down at the table.” ”
Lip couldn’t help the smile that crept onto his face as he pictured his girlfriend with her face dirtied by food, her hair tied back and away from her face, and her voice carrying around the house as she made sure everyone had eaten. It was one of the things he loved about her and one of the reasons he was glad she had come into his life. “Look, I’ll be home soon,” he chuckled. “Can you just make sure she actually eats? I know she’s gonna forget.”
“Fine,” Ian groaned. “Just hurry up.”
(Y/N) had come into Lip’s life at a moment when he was sure his life would have gone down the rails. She has become his sense of normalcy in his less-than-normal life. He had needed something to ground him back to earth, and that was exactly what she had done. After being so close to rock bottom he could taste the soil on the ground, she had been the only one that had been able to bring him back to his feet.
As he got off the L, he wondered what she could have ever seen in him. She was smart and beautiful and a complete juxtaposition to the man he was. She was sunshine where he was rain, she was happiness where he was gloom, she was future while he was stuck in the past. And she was everything he never thought he needed.
The moment he reached the house, he could hear the chatter from his family and the smell of (Y/N)’s cooking. Inside, Liam, Carl, and Ian were hypnotized by the TV while (Y/N) and Debbie talked away in the kitchen.
Ian had not lied. The Gallagher house had been decorated like it had never been before. From garlands to stockings above the fireplace, to a massive Christmas tree in front of the stairs, it was a scene that had never lived inside that house. “Yo, you weren’t kidding, huh?” Lip chuckled as he shook off his jacket. “Didn’t think we’d ever have these many decorations.”
“And presents,” Carl grinned. “Check under the tree.”
Just like his younger brother had pointed, under the pine rested a couple of boxes wrapped in kraft paper. Each of them had every one of the Gallagher’s names written on them and a glittering red bow around them. It truly was more than Lip could have ever expected.
“Ian, did she eat something?”
“Yeah,” he said. “She’s also been pecking at everything she’s doing.”
“Alright, thanks.”
Taking the scenery in, Lip walked into the kitchen to find (Y/N) wearing a dirty apron and plates balanced on her arms.
“You’re home,” she smiled, kissing his cheek as she walked past him to give the three boys each a plate. “Good. There’s a plate for you in the microwave. I made some turkey sandwiches for lunch. Light enough to not fill you guys up for dinner but strong enough to tide you over until then.”
“Thanks, (Y/N),” the boys chorused before digging into their sandwiches and focusing back on the TV.
“This is so good, (Y/N),” Debbie exclaimed from the breakfast table. “I don’t know how you’re not studying to be a chef.”
“I cook for fun, not for work,” the young woman smiled. “That’s what engineering school is for.”
“I’m just saying,” she shrugged. “If the genius stuff doesn’t work out, you could definitely be a chef.”
“Thank you, Debs,” (Y/N) responded. “And speaking of school, how was your last final, babe? I know this semester has been a bit hard.”
Understatement of the century, Lip had thought. He couldn’t understand how he had not been expelled after everything he had done the year before. He had been so close to losing it all. Had it not been for (Y/N) stopping him before he smashed Youens car and speaking up on his behalf at the disciplinary meeting, he was sure he would have gotten a worse punishment than a semester suspension. She had been the saving grace he didn’t know he needed, and she was the reason he understood he needed help.
Lip had inherited more than a hard life from his parents, he’d fallen victim to their addictive genetics and gone off the deep end with a bottle of liquor in hand. But somehow, she had been there to pull him up while he was down and walk beside him as he got back onto the right path. She stayed with him as he rebuilt himself into the man people believed he was.
“I think it went pretty well,” he said before taking a bite of his sandwich. “Won’t know until after the break, but if midterms were anything to go by, I did good.”
“That’s good. I’m pretty sure you did very well,” she smiled as she sat beside him, placing a hand on his and a coffee cup in front of his plate. “And I know you’re tired, but I’m gonna need you to help me prep the table for dinner tonight. Kev, V, and the girls are coming over. Fiona can’t make it, but she’ll try for actual Christmas Day or New Year's.”
“You’ve got everything planned out already, don’t you?” Lip chuckled. “Not that I am surprised in any way, shape or form.”
“I would have told you earlier, but I wanted you to focus on your exams,” she said before turning to the boys in the living room. “Hey, guys! Remember to wash your dishes when you’re done! I’m gonna need them for tonight.”
“Yes, (Y/N),” they chorused back.
“You got them very well trained,” Debbie laughed. “Where have you been all our lives?”
“Just on the other side of town,” the girl smiled. “Now hurry and finish eating. We’ve got work to do.”
After everyone finished their lunch and the how was suddenly dispersed of children, (Y/N) and Lip set off to work. While she waltzed around the kitchen, he rearranged the formal dining area to fit all the guests. As he walked around the house, the young man wanted to laugh. He remembered a time when that type of domesticity would have sent him running, searching for the easiest way to drown his fears of commitment and stability. But there he was, setting tables for a dinner party that his girlfriend had cooked, and he didn’t feel the jittery need to escape. He didn’t feel the anxious desire to feel alcohol burn its way down his throat and fill him with a mirage of confidence. He wanted to stay.
“Hey,” he whispered after he had finished his task, snaking his arms around her waist and kissing her cheeks. “Thanks for doing this.”
“Of course,” she smiled, leaning into the comfort and warmth of his touch. “Do you think there’s enough food I don’t know if I should set out some snacks for the kids while the turkey is finished. Maybe dinner is too late for Jemma and Amy. I should set some snacks out.”
“(Y/N), baby,” he chuckled. Lip flipped her around, kissing her lips softly to stop her rambling. “There’s enough food, and they should be starving by dinner. You worked hard enough on all these dishes, they need to be eaten.”
“And they will, but…”
“You really enjoy mommying them, don’t you?” Lip grinned lovingly. “You know they’re not kids anymore –other than Liam. The other ones are all teenagers, they know how to get food when they’re hungry.”
“I know that. But I just wanna make sure they know there’s someone here that cares about them other than you now that Fiona’s gone,” she admitted, her eyes falling onto the hands she pressed to his chest. “And I want them to like me, Lip. I’m in it for the long run, babe.”
“If there’s one thing I can assure you, it’s that the Gallagher family loves you,” he smiled. His hand caressed her cheek softly, and it surprised him that only a year before, his knuckles would have been ripped and bloodied. But not with her. Never with her. “And if you keep cooking like this for them, they’ll make sure you’re here forever.”
“And what about you? Would you want me to stay forever?”
Lip couldn’t help the smile that spread across his mouth. As he stared into her eyes, it took everything inside him not to spoil the plans he had for Christmas morning. He wanted to give her all the reassurance she could need with the ring he had hidden deep in his underwear drawer. But when he had a plan, it was hard to divert from it. “How could I want anything else?” he grinned. “Now, why don’t we finish up here so we can have a little treat before dinner ourselves?”
“Philip Gallagher,” she exclaimed at his advance, slapping his chest playfully. “I have too much work to do to be thinking about that.”
“Come on, I’ve only been thinking about this all day,” he groaned. “It’s the only thing that got me through that test.”
“Then you can wait a bit more,” she laughed. “I promise I’ll make it worth your while, baby. All good things come to those who wait.”
And, at that moment, she had no idea how much truth there was in that statement.

teen romance — lip gallagher x reader
Tumblr media
☄. *. ⋆
content warnings & genre: swearing (it's the southside) — fluff, angst
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
synopsis: you've been the gallagher's family friend for as long as you can remember, but you've been assigned a task in which you convince lip to go to college and make something of himself
✧.*
“you do realize you're eating here for free, right?”
you shot carl a smile in response to his teasing tone. in some way, he was right. you weren't adding money into the squirrel fund, and you sure as hell weren't participating in any rent paying. however, it wasn't your responsibility. you didn't live with the gallaghers, but you've been a family friend ever since monica was around. you had been taking your life on the southside very seriously—attending college, working as many part-time jobs as possible—all of it just to get by. your parents had left you many moons ago, but everything in their will had been gifted to you, their daughter. every last cent. and you made it your duty to support the gallaghers with all you had. so, yes, you were definitely eating there for free, but it was your cash that was paying for the food and clothes, paying off their debts, and so much more.
as the summer breeze wafted through the gallagher household, you leaned back in your chair, savoring the familiarity of the chaotic scene around you. lip, perched on the counter nearby, eyeing you with a mix of amusement and fondness. “guess you're the real guardian angel here,” he quipped, a half-smile tugging at his lips. you chuckled softly, meeting his gaze. “someone's gotta give fiona a hand at keeping this place from falling apart completely.”
lip's gaze softened, and he raked a hand through his unruly hair. “yeah, well, we appreciate it. more than you know.”
it wasn't lost on either of you that your presence had become a steady pillar of support in their lives. through the ups and downs, your friendship with the gallaghers had grown stronger. it was a bond forged not just by circumstance, but by shared experiences and the understanding that sometimes, family extended beyond bloodlines.
as the afternoon sun cast a warm glow over the room, lip's expression turned contemplative. “you ever think about what life would be like if you weren't part of this mess?”
you shrugged, a small smile playing on your lips. “sure, sometimes. but then i remember that life's messiness is what makes it interesting.”
lip chuckled, the corners of his mouth lifting. “you've got a point there.”
the front door had swung open in the middle of your conversation, and the rest of the clan tumbled in, each one carrying their own story of the day. your heart swelled as you watched them, a sense of belonging washing over you. “are you gonna join us for dinner, (y/n)?” debbie called out as she plopped down onto the bed. you grinned at her, rising from the seat to help set the table as you ruffled her hair. “wouldn't miss it for the world.”
as the evening unfolded, laughter and chatter filled the air, intertwining with the aroma of a makeshift gallagher family dinner. lip found a seat next to you, his knee brushing against yours under the table. in that simple touch, you felt a connection that words couldn't quite capture. fiona and veronica shot each other a look as they smirked, almost as if they knew. it wasn't that they didn't—everybody knew of lip's fondness of you, but not in the same way everyone else was.
“you know, we're lucky to have you,” lip murmured, his voice low and sincere. feeling a warmth spread through your chest, you turned to him, your gaze locking. “i'm the lucky one. you guys are my family, too.” in that moment, surrounded by the people who had become your home, you realized that your presence in the household was more than just financial support. it was a testament to the unbreakable bonds that formed when hearts opened to one another, transcending circumstances and hardships.
and as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a tapestry of colors across the sky, you couldn't help but feel that, despite life's challenges, you were exactly where you were meant to be.
just after dinner, you found yourself sitting on the front porch with lip. the evening air was cool, and the stars above twinkled in the night sky. the conversation had shifted to more serious matters, and you couldn't shake the feeling that lip was holding back something important.
“you know, lip, you're incredibly smart,” you began, voice gentle but firm. “have you ever considered going back to college?” lip's brow furrowed, his jaw clenching slightly. “why does everyone keep bringing that up? college isn't for everyone, you know.” you sighed softly, sensing the frustration in his words. “i get that. but it's not about what's for everyone; it's about what's right for you. you're brilliant, lip. you could do so much more than this if you just gave yourself the chance.”
he turned his gaze away, his expression a mixture of irritation and contemplation. “and do what? end up drowning in student loans, chasing a degree that might not even guarantee a job? you act like i haven't thought about it, but it's not that simple.”
“i'm not saying it's simple,” you replied, your voice steady. “but it's worth considering. you deserve more than this, lip. you deserve to explore your potential and make something of yourself.”
his fists clenched, and he shot you a glare. “you think i don't want that? you think i'm just sitting around here, content with my life?”
“i know you want more,” you said softly, your gaze unwavering. “but it's the fear holding you back, lip.”
his frustration seemed to boil over, and he snapped, his voice tinged with anger. “i don't need you to psychoanalyze me, (y/n). just because you pay our bills and wash our asses doesn't give you a right to shit.”
his words stung, and you took a deep breath to steady yourself. “you can be an asshole all you want,” your tone had come to a cold halt. “i've known all of you since monica was sober and frank knew how to put pants on, i'm family too. if you wanna throw your life away, go ahead. i'm only doing what i've been doing the last 19 years—supporting you.”
he stood up abruptly, pacing back and forth. After a tense silence, he finally turned to you, his eyes searching yours. “i'm sorry for being a dick, it's just a sore spot for me.”
you nodded, your heart aching for him. “i understand. but i believe in you, lip. and if you decide to go back to college, i'll be right there supporting you every step of the way.”
lip's shoulders slumped, and he exhaled heavily. “i know you will, it's all you've been doing all these years,” he took a step closer, his gaze earnest. “if i do this, it won't be for anyone else but myself. but i want you to know that your belief in me means everything.”
you were touched by his words. so touched, that when he finally leaned in, you barely noticed. his lips felt heavy against yours, nose pressing against the tip of your own as you melted into his touch. all these years—tension has been building all these years—and you were finally given a chance to unwind. you were content, happy as his arms wrapped around your waist, hearts fluttering as he pulled away from you.
you both sat back down on the porch, the weight of the conversation still hung in the air. but this time, there was a sense of understanding, of a shared commitment to exploring the possibilities that lay ahead. and as you gazed at the stars above, you couldn't help but feel that this was the beginning of something new, failing to realize that lip chose to look at you instead of the starry sight above.

Chapter 2: She's a Sweet Girl
“Morning, Lottie.” V yawns, patting Charlotte’s ass as she slides past her to pour a cup of coffee. “You’re up early, Alan got you on the morning shift today?”
Charlotte shakes her head, checking the time and grabbing the oven mitts from the drawer. V pushes herself up onto the counter as she watches her cousin take a tray full of brownies out of the oven, cringing when the door creaks then slams shut. “Nope, I don’t work today. But I’ve got some errands I wanna run.”
“Like what?”
“Like, take some brownies to the Gallagher kids cause my introduction to them was pretty shitty. Hopefully have some left over to give Mandy so I can apologize again for going on a date with her boyfriend-”
“Absolutely not.” Veronica jumps down from the counter to grip her cousin’s shoulders. “The Gallagher kids are fine, as long as you’re not talking about Lip. And you’re not going to give apology brownies Mandy Milkovich so she can knock them out of your hands and kick your ass for fuckin’ with Lip. Which I warned you not to do, by the way. Move.”
Charlotte shuffles out of the way, so Veronica can get two plates and place two of the brownies out for them. “I thought you were just being a protective big cousin.” she pouts.
“Oh, baby girl, I was. But there’s plenty of nice guys for you to date. Just…not on the southside. Maybe wait for when me and Fi take you to the club at the end of the week. The guys out there will eat you up. And they won’t be some broke ass fuck boy who’s got at least thirty pregnancy scares under his belt with two girlfriends. For now, promise me that you won’t go to Mandy Milkovich’s house, because that bitch is crazy, and I don’t wanna have to go to jail.”
Charlotte nods quietly, popping a piece of brownie into her mouth and offering her cousin a small smile when she kisses her cheek.
At the time Charlotte had thought she’d been telling Veronica the truth. She’d been keeping up her other promise and hadn’t spoken to Lip since that night. Not that he’d been trying that hard to get her attention. It had been about a week since the night of their not date and the most he’d done when they ran into each other was stare at her and then nod in acknowledgement. To which Charlotte would whip her head in the opposite direction and ignore her irritation at the chuckle he always gives.
She wanted to give him a piece of her mind. Tell him he’s not that great and that she thinks it's crappy what he did. Mandy had looked so sad. Very angry. But still…sad. But for some stupid reason, for the like, two seconds she let her eyes lock on his intense blue ones, she felt her heart race. So, when she sees him leaving the house at the same time as her, she ducks back in so she won’t run into him. When he and his siblings are playing around outside, she stays away from the window. And for the four times a week he’d stop at her job just to sit at a table and smirk at her while having a drink, talking to all of the girls but her, she shook her head and ignored him, paying extra attention to the customers on the opposite side of the room.
But still. She thought about that kiss. A lot. As short as it was, he’d made it count. Held her close, bit her lip, controlled her jaw. Of course he’s a jerk. Nice guys don’t kiss like that.
Charlotte felt guilty.
And that’s how she ended up in the Gallagher’s living room with Debbie, carrying their share of the brownies and looking over her shoulder nervously. “Are you sure your brother’s not here?”
“No, Lip left an hour ago. Probably won’t be back until tonight.” The redhead shrugs, shoving a couple brownies into her backpack. She looks at Charlotte, tilting her head. “Are you sleeping with Lip?”
“What? No.” Charlotte gasps at the little girl.
“Oh. But you want to?”
“No, Debbie-”
“I think he thinks you’re pretty.” the little girl continues. “The other day, he was supposed to be helping me put up the Christmas decorations, and you left your window open. Do you see any Christmas decorations up?”
Charlotte feels her cheeks heat, offering the little girl a small smile. “Honey, that doesn’t mean anything, he might’ve just gotten busy.”
“Lip never offers to help put up decorations. Ian always does it with me.”
The older girl tries to shake off any flattery she feels and runs a hand through her hair. “Well, maybe he’s feeling in the spirit this year. But, hey, Debbie, do you happen to know where Mandy lives? This other batch of brownies is for her.”
“What?” Debbie’s eyes widen. “You can’t go there. Mandy’s gonna kill you. Then you can’t teach me how to make these brownies.” she whines.
“She’s not gonna kill me, Debbie. At the end of the day, Mandy is a woman, I’m a woman, and we girls have a code.”
“A code?”
“Yeah,” Charlotte smiles, tightening her jacket. “Girl code has rules about things like this, and guys like your brother. He’s Mandy’s and I respect that. And she’ll respect me for respecting that. And issues of loyalty should be taken up with Phillip.”
“Phillip?” Debbie shakes her head, putting on her jacket. “Right. Well, she lives on South Trumble Ave. good luck, I hope she doesn’t kill you, I think you’re nice.”
Charlotte doesn’t know what she was expecting the house to look like. The gate didn’t look that different from the one at the Gallagher’s. But there was broken glass, abandoned beer cans and glass scattered in the front lawn. She stepped over everything she passed as she went up the walkway, knocking on the door.
“Who the fuck is it?!” A deep voice calls from inside.
Charlotte jumps, slightly, taking a deep breath before calling back, “Um…I’m Charlotte. Charlotte Fisher.”
“You a cop?” the voice growls.
“No…?”
The door clicks open, and an older man with a dirty wife beater and boxers opens it, beer in hand. “You here for one of my boys? Mickey?”
“Uh-”
“You pregnant?”
She gasps, looking down at her stomach before back at the man. “No! I’m…I’m here to see Mandy.”
“Hm. Fine.” He grunts, unlocking the screen door before retreating back into the house. Charlotte assumes she’s granted permission to enter, and wanders inside. “Mandy, you’ve got company, I’m headed out!”
“I’m fuckin’ coming!” Mandy calls from somewhere else in the house.
Charlotte scoots out of the way as the older man shoves past her out of the house, slamming the door behind him. Straightening, she grips the brownie tray firmly, awaiting Mandy’s entrance.
“Hey, I didn’t think you were gonna come by today-” Mandy smirks as she emerges from her room, her smile falling as soon as she sees Charlotte. “Gotta be fuckin’ kidding me. What the hell are you doing here bitch?”
“Oh-kay, you’re still upset, you have every right to be, but don’t you think the person you should be mad at is Phillip?”
“Phillip?” the girl hisses.
“What is Lip here?” another voice calls. Ian stumbles out of another room, another guy, pale with dark hair following behind him. “Oh, Charlotte, no.”
“Charlotte, huh?” the pale guy asks, lighting a cigarette. “I don’t know Mandy, she doesn’t look like a boyfriend stealin’ skank bitch. She brought brownies.”
Charlotte’s brows furrow. “Are you telling people that?”
“It’s what you are.” Mandy crosses her arms. Ian quietly stands between the two girls, whispering under his breath to a very agitated Mandy. The pale guy steps around to grab a brownie, taking a sniff before biting it.
“S’good. You look a little clean for that prick, Lip. You rebellin’ or something?”
Charlotte shifts on her feet, holding out her hand for him to shake, “Um, no, I’m Charlotte Fisher by the way. And I’m not a boyfriend stealing-”
“Skank bitch.” the guy finishes, clasping her hand and shaking it roughly.
“And I don’t…don’t want anything to do with Phillip Gallagher.”
“You better not, bitch.” Mandy calls over Ian’s shoulder before whipping around and stalking back into the room, slamming the door behind her.
“Yeah, I don’t love the name calling, but tell her these brownies are for her…?”
“Mickey.”
“Okay. Mickey, nice to meet you. Have as much as you like.” Charlotte zips her jacket and starts heading out of the door.
Mickey nudges Ian and murmurs quietly, “Your brother really fucking that?”
Ian smiles, pressing a kiss into Mickey’s cheek as he pulls on his own jacket to follow the girl out. “Not yet, why, you want a crack at it?”
“Nah, too sweet for me, give me a toothache. I like my bitches tough like you, Army.”
“Yeah okay, I’ll be back later.”
“Charlotte! Charlotte, hey!” Ian calls, chasing the girl up the street. He catches up pretty easily, she’s short and clearly wanders like she doesn’t know where she’s going, leaving her primed for any of the sick fucks out here. V and Fiona would kill him if he let her walk around in this skimpy skirt looking doe eyed and lost. “What’re you up to? Headed home?”
“Oh, hi Ian! I don’t know, guess I’m trying to find somewhere to hang out. V’s busy filming and I really don’t wanna spend the afternoon oiling her down and have weird guys on the internet ask me to bend over for an extra fifty. I don’t work today, and I’m bored. Guess I was kinda hopin’ if I apologized to Mandy again she’d forgive me and wanna be friends.”
“Oh, uh,” Ian sucks in air between his teeth. He feels bad for the girl, her big brown wide eyes screamed innocence, and girl power and whatever the fuck else bullshit that Fiona tries to teach Debbie. And Mandy is his best friend, and Charlotte had read her right, if it had been anyone else, anyone but Lip, Mandy would’ve taken the girl under her wing. Mandy liked sweet things. But she loves Lip. “We could hang out, if you wanted. Watch a movie or something?”
“Phillip won’t be home?”
“No, no he won’t.”
“Is this the only type of movie you have?” Charlotte squeaks with her face tucked into Ian’s shoulder.
“Pretty much, bad part’s almost over, but you’re missin’ most of it.” the redhead chuckles, watching as the murderous man in the creepy mask chases his victim through an alleyway.
“Next time, I’ll bring you somethin’ else. Jesus, Debbie, Carl and Liam watch this?” She huffs, gripping at his shirt. Liam just snorts, mumbling to her it’s safe to look and cackling loudly when she realized he was lying when she saw guts and blood spattered on the pavement. “Okay. That’s it.” Charlotte snatches the remote and pauses the movie. “Let’s talk.”
“About what?”
“Um,” the girl smiles, pushing her hair over her shoulder. “Your boyfriend’s cute. Mickey.”
Ian’s eyes widen as he whips his head to the door of his room, making sure nobody comes in. “H-how’d you know that he was…”
“The way you look at him. The way he looks at you. All of the above.” she chirps, wiggling her eyebrows at him.
“What like we wanna fuck each other? It’s obvious?” he chuckles.
Charlotte smiles at him, letting her head rest back on the wall. “A little. But I was talking about how you really look at each other. Like, I can tell you guys really have something good.”
“Yeah?” Ian grins back, chuckling quietly when she nods, poking his side. “What about you? You have somethin’ good going on? Don’t tell me my shithead brother was your first kiss or somethin’.”
“No,” she hums, pulling her phone out and scrolling through a bunch a pictures, mostly of her and V to find a picture of her and some guy. “My ex boyfriend, Tyler. Broke up a while ago, but we’re still friends. Nice guy.”
“Oh, yeah? Why’d you break up?”
“His parents wanted him to go away to school, learn the business and stuff, thought I was a distraction. He wanted to get a job and get married.” Charlotte toys with the fabric at the bottom of her shirt. “I agreed with his parents.”
Ian nods quietly, “Nice of you to think of his future.”
“Good thing I did too. He found out that he was gay. And now we’re best friends, we talk every day.” she smiles down at the picture on her phone before shoving it back into her pocket.
“Oh, well, is your best friend gonna be worried about me takin’ his spot or somethin’?” he teases, nudging her.
“He’s not the jealous type. Why do you wanna be my friend, Ian Gallagher?” Charlotte cheeses, leaning over him with bright eyes, giggling when he offers her a bright smile back.
“Yeah. Why not?”
“Why not?”
“Why not what?” Both Ian and Charlotte’s eyes both shoot over to the doorway where Lip stands, tossing a bag on the floor crossing his arms. “Barkin’ up the wrong tree, sweetheart.”
Charlotte huffs, sitting back on the bed and looking away from Lip, placing a hair tie in her mouth and gathering her hair up to make a ponytail.
“I came up here to let you know the kids are home. It’s your night to figure out dinner.” Lip continues as Charlotte hops up, hair bouncing in his face as she scoots past him without so much as a glance. “Where’re you goin’?”
He’s met with silence and sends Ian a look. Ian sighs, rolling his eyes before calling out, “Hey, Lottie, where are you headed?”
“Downstairs, promised Debbie I’d teach her how to bake brownies.” her sweet voice carries into the room. Lip scoffs and smooths a hand down his face.
“Lottie? What the fuck?”
“What?” Ian shrugs, tugging on his shoes, ignoring his brother’s glare. “She knows I’m gay.”
“And what? So you guys are just friends now?”
“Yeah pretty much.” the redhead shrugs again.
“Um, yeah, you get what she’s trying to do here, don’t you?” Lip shakes his head, snagging a cigarette from behind his ear and lighting it. “Hanging out here all day, baking brownies with Debbie. She’s trying to get my attention.”
“Well, it’s worked hasn’t it? You make us sleep with the blinds open so you can make sure she gets in every night after work. Go to her job almost every time she works-”
“Fuck you, what’re you her brother now?” Lip sniffs, leaning against the desk. “She ask about me?”
“Just to make sure you weren’t home.” Ian sighs, putting on his jacket. “Why don’t you let this one go, alright? Mandy’s still pissed and she’s actually sweet. Just uh, get your dick wet with someone else, alright? I’m askin’.”
“Jesus, I’m not doin’ anything. I’m not trying to touch your fuckin’ pillar of purity, alright. If she’s gonna be around I just wanna be cool.”
“Yeah, okay.” the younger brother scoffs, brushing past his brother and out of the door. Lip follows his brother down the steps and then swings into the kitchen where Debbie is standing at a mixing bowl with Charlotte next to her.
“If you beat it too much it’ll get all gross and soupy, we want it to be thick-” brown eyes lock on blue before going back to the task in front of her. “And cake-y. Then we can put it in the oven. You’re doing really great, Debbie.”
“Thanks, Lottie.” Debbie smiles, scraping the spoon on the side of the bowl.
“That looks good, Deb, can’t wait to try it.” Lip says, leaning on the opposite side of the counter, eyeing the girl refusing to look at him. He let his gaze trace her features, big bright eyes, covered with long curled, dark lashes. Smooth cheeks with deep dimples, shining smile with plump, glossed lips.
“Thanks, I hope they taste like Charlotte’s.”
Lip runs a hand through his hair as his chest tightens watching the older girl sweep some of the chocolate from his sister’s cheek, looking even more intently as she presses her thumb between her lips, sucking the chocolate off. “Yeah, um, Debs, why don’t you go do your homework?”
“But I’m making brownies with Charlotte!” the girl whines, stomping her foot.
“Debbie-”
“It’s okay, Debbie, I’ll finish up and if Fiona says it’s okay, I’ll bring over one of my favorite movies and we can eat some together, alright?”
Debbie brightens at the promise immediately, quickly hugging the girl before running past to go do her work, not forgetting to flip off her brother as she goes.
“Nice, Debs.” Lip nods slowly. He turns back to Charlotte who’s dumping the brownie batter into the tray. “Hangin’ out with my family now?”
He’s met with silence for a moment, and he resigns to himself that maybe she’s serious about ignoring everyone but him. “They’re nice…and mine is busy.” Lip’s eyes widen as her voice rings out in the kitchen, her eyes still refusing to meet his as she scrapes the bowl. “You apologize to Mandy yet?”
“Yeah, if givin’ her some good head is an apology.” he jokes, sweeping some chocolate out of the bowl and popping his finger into his mouth. He’d expected her to cringe at his crass joke, wrinkle her nose or something. But she just tilts her head, resting her elbows on the counter and looking him in the eyes.
“Does she? That’s what matters.”
“Shit. That really bothered you.”
Charlotte’s look does not falter, her lips pursed. “I don’t like being part of hurting people. And I don’t like being tricked. I wanted to be friends.”
Lip takes in the girl’s face. Her pretty features are set sternly. A little line has formed between her brows. It looked like that night. “You’re not a nice guy, Phillip Gallagher.” Lip didn’t like that look. He liked the bright eyes and dimpled smile she’d given him before she’d found out about Mandy. He liked having her eyes on him.
He pushes off of the counter and makes his way around the island, backing her against the counter. He’s close, trapping her with one of his hands on each side of her, careful not to touch her. “Yeah? You wanted to be my friend?” he murmurs lowly.
“Yeah.” she speaks back softly, still not backing down, brows still furrowed.
“You don’t wanna be my friend anymore, cutie?” he asks, leaning down, pushing so close his nose is almost touching hers.
“No.” she whispers. “Not like this. Real friends. Friends, Phillip. M’not gonna help you cheat on your girlfriend. But…I liked hanging out with you. I wanna do it with Mandy’s permission.”
Lip doesn’t know what the fuck is wrong with him. Any other girl and he’d say fuck off. He’d say it wasn’t worth all of this hassle and he doesn’t care if their friends, strangers, fucking, whatever. But something in his stupid brain said he wanted to keep Charlotte around. He’d chalked it up to thinking with his dick over the last few days. He’d figured the princess had flounced her little ass under his skin and he just hadn’t gotten to fuck her out of his system. He kept thinking about her, Ian was right. Shits been on loop. The kiss. Her in that uniform. Her smile. Her eyes. Fuck. When he went back to apology fuck Mandy he’d kept his eyes shut tightly, hoping that he could imagine that it was her pinned to the bed under him but all that caused was for him to cum faster. Maybe, he needed to take her as she was willing to give…and wear her down. “You gonna stop ignorin’ me?”
“Are you gonna ask your girlfriend for permission?” She asks, planting her hands on his chest and pushing him back, huffing when he doesn’t move, only leaning more weight on her hand. “Yes?”
“Fuckin’ fine. You’re lucky you're so damn cute.” Lip rolls his eyes, grabbing the girl’s chin, tugging her closer and pressing his lips to her cheek, giving it a longer than necessary kiss and sighing when she squirms away. “What friends don’t kiss now?”
“Not until friends let their girlfriends know that they are friends.” Charlotte shrugs, beaming at him.
“What?”
The timer goes off for the brownies, filling the kitchen and the space she’s put between them. “Great, they're done. Debbie!”

THE OTHER WOMAN by LANA DEL REY
lip gallagher x f!reader | angst | bad ending
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
❛i’m the other woman. . .not the main character❜
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
YOU were doing everything for philip to make him happy; you wanted the best for him. he was your everything, the only person who wanted to be in your life. you even dropped out of school to babysit liam every day, because you wanted to show lip that his family is also important to you.
you were in love with that boy; he was your soulmate, like a missing piece from your puzzle. maybe it was pathetic, but you didn’t see how really you were treating. people are saying that when you’re in love, you don’t see the character flaws of the person you admire. and that’s unfortunately true. he was an angel in your eyes; you loved how smart he was and how he cared about his family and his friends. yeah. . .but nobody likes how lip was treating you and doesn’t give a shit about you.
his siblings especially fiona was heartbroken watching how his brother was treating you. and using your naïveté to everything that he wasn’t wanting to do, like: groceries, cleaning or taking care of liam on weekend. you were doing all of that, because you wanted him to pay attention to you and make a confession how important you were for him.
when you started to saw karen in gallagher’s house at first you thought that she was only a friend, but then you started seeing the shine in his eyes when he was looking at karen. he seemed so happy with her, happier than he ever was with you. even when you sleep with each other, he doesn’t have this kind of shine in eyes, he probably just like sex and the fact, that you have feelings for him.
·˚ ༘₊· ͟͟͞͞꒰➳ ⸻⸻⸻ ❝sometimes i look at myself in the mirror, wondering why i’m not enough, why every person i have met hurt my little heart. why i’m not pretty or interesting enough, wondering when it will be my turn to be happy.❞ ⸻⸻⸻ ✯
YOU were done. right now, you are sitting on Lip’s bed, waiting for him to get out of the bathroom. you wanted to confess how he made you feel about yourself. you didn’t remember a single night when you weren’t crying yourself to sleep, or thinking about philip. you've enough; you realize that you’re destroying yourself, and you need to say stop. you were disgusted with yourself for how easily you gave him permission to manipulate you with these sweet words of his. how stupid you were to believe that you finally have someone who cares about you.
because of your relationship with philip you weren’t able to look at yourself in the mirror without crying about how pathetic you are. you don’t understand why people are like that for you, i just wanted to be happy, you thought.
when you saw a tall man enter the room, you just sighed, and your eyes started to water.
“what are you doing here?” he said, looking strangely at you.
“you don’t care about me, do you?” he lifted his brows, clueless about what you were saying. “why you treat me like shit, like a fucking toy you like to use to do your duties, and you like to fuck sometimes?”
he just chuckled at you as you frowned. “why are you laughing at me?”
“you never say you don’t want to do all this, it’s not my fault you are stupid and do everything i said.” when you heard his words, you could not believe blind you were, to not see that lip was an asshole.
“i was doing all that shit because i fucking love you!” you shouted, and he just laughed again.
“y/n. . .i would never love someone like you, you are so pathetic, y/n” he said without emotion in his voice, doesn’t even look at you.
“i love you anyway.” it was everything you can say with tears in your eyes; you weren’t lying, though. you love him, even if he treated you like shit you know that he was the only person you truly admired. you were addicted to him.
“i don’t care”
“that’s fine,” you said, leaving the room, sobbing. you know that you will always be the other woman for everyone.
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.
sorry for any mistakes!!
thank you for attention:))

Being a Gallagher-Milkovich | Mickey & Ian dads x reader
Summary: @beth-gallagher22 requested a cute reader x dads fic.  Y/n is Mickey’s and Ian’s adoptive daughter, the oldest of their three kids. She sneaks out one night to go to a party after she's been told not to go by her dads. Her dads find out and go get her. Can Mickey keep his cool when he finds his kid drunk, hooking up with some guy? Wordcount 2400 Warnings: non AN: struggled a bit with the ending but I hope you liked it! xoxo Lexi Mickey = Dad Ian = Papa
Tumblr media
No. You were expecting the answer but somehow you still hoped that your dads had said yes, they had a notorious partying-past themselves so you thought that you might have a small chance. You gave your dad the biggest puppy eyes you had in one last effort to get what you wanted. 'No y/n you heard papa you're not going to Eliza's tonight, end of discussion.' You groaned and threw your arms frustrated in the air. 'You just don't understand how important this party is, I'll be the only one who won't be there. They'll think I'm a loser.' Mickey snorted. 'You're a Gallagher-Milkovich you'll never be a loser, doll.'  You stormed past them and stomped up the stairs. 'She'll understand one day.' Ian mumbled to Mickey when he wrapped his arms around him from behind while they were standing in the kitchen. 'Yeah, but she'll hate us for quite some time because we want to keep her safe, that's not fair.' Ian chuckled as he saw the frustration on his husband's face. 'As you said, she's a Gallagher-Milkovich, she'll be fine.'
The bedroom door slammed close behind you and you threw yourself on the bed as you left out a frustrating groan. They just didn't get it. Literally, everyone was going even Gemma Garrety from the fucking Northside. You were going, no matter what your dads were saying. You got up from your bed and went through your closet, searching for the perfect dress. Last month papa had given you shopping money for the upcoming summer. Instead of buying a couple of outfits you just went for a beautiful, black dress that showed way too much skin but it was perfect for a heated summer at the Southside of town. You took the dress off the hanger and laid it out on your bed. It was perfect for the party. You grabbed your makeup bag from your bedside table and set up an improvised makeup station, laying everything you needed out in front of you on your desk. Brett Greendale was going to be there so you wanted to look absolutely fire. After you had curled your hair in soft waves you pinned it back so you could start on your makeup. You went for a subtle eye look but went for dark, red lips. When you were done with your makeup you put your bathrobe on and got in your bed so you could pretend you were sleeping as your dads would come to check on you when they went to bed themselves at eleven. So you just waited.
As you predicted your dad popped his head in something after eleven. He lingered in the doorway for a minute or two, looking at his sweet angel with a loving smile on his lips. He and Ian were so happy when they got the news from the adoption agency that they were approved and were eligible to adopt. They got a call in the middle of the night, that they needed to rush to the hospital to be present during your birth and before they knew it they were holding you in their arms, you were sweet as a pea and making them a family of three. That was already sixteen years ago, time had flown by.  Mickey stepped back into the hallway, closing your bedroom door behind him. That was your queue. You sat straight up in your bed listening to the sound of their bedroom door falling into the lock. It took them normally ten minutes to fall asleep so you waited patiently. When it was a quarter past eleven there wasn't a sound to hear and you walked over to your window on your tippy-toes. You had done this before, it wasn't your first rodeo. Your room was on the first floor but you could make the jump easily without hurting yourself if you took off your heels.  So you did, you threw your shoes, bag and keys out first and followed in a swift movement after landing on your feet in the grass. You slipt your heels on and started walking in the direction of Eliza's place, this night was going to be epic.
Tumblr media
A couple of hours had passed and you couldn't remember if this was your sixth or seventh drink, who cared anyway. You had spent the night dancing with some friends in Eliza's living room before Brett had swooped in, stealing you from your girls. The two had chatted for some time in the kitchen, he had made some stupid joke and you pretended that he was the funniest guy on the planet. He wasn't, he was far from being funny but you thought that pretending would play in your luck so you laughed. After some time he pulled you in by your waist so there was no room left between the two of you. He gave you a boyish grin before he leaned in and places a kiss on your lips. They were softer than you had imagined. You grabbed the hem of his shirt with one hand and steadied yourself by placing the other on his waist. You didn't care about anyone else in the room, they could watch all they want. After a minute or two, he leaned back and you almost started frowning when he did but then you realised what he was doing. Your heart was pounding in your chest as he grabbed your hand, dragging you along the stairs. You could hear some of his friends cheering on him as the two of you reached the top, disappearing into one of the empty bedrooms.  You didn't have much time to think as he started to tuck on his own shirt, taking it off and throwing it on the ground. You kicked off your heels and stood awkwardly in front of him, not a hundred percent sure about your next move. You might be a Gallagher-Milkovich but this was actually the first time you went this far with a guy. Okay, you had given a blowie once or twice but that was it. You promised yourself that you would only go all the way with a guy you truly liked and you did. Brett could be an asshole sometimes but he could also be sweet and treated you like a princess. He was the right one. He softly ran his arms from your shoulders to your hands and gave them a soft squeeze. 'You sure about this?' All you could do was nod in agreement. 'You need to say it.' It was probably the alcohol in you that was speaking but you really wanted to do this. You placed your hands around his neck and pulled him closer to you. 'Are you going to fuck me or what?'  That was enough for him. Whit one firm push he had you laying on your back on the bed and a giggle left your mouth. He crawled towards you and placed one knee on either side of your body, hovering above your face. 'Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?' You shook your head whiles biting on your bottom lip. 'Damn, y/n you look really pretty tonight and that dress, fiew.' He whistled. 'Smoking hot.'
The only thing that you didn't know was while you and Brett were getting cosy upstairs your dad was about to march into the party. He was furious. 'Hun, please think this through. Okay, she disobeyed our request but do you really need to pull her out tonight? You can yell at her in the morning. She will feel so embarrassed if you do this.' Ian did his best to calm Mickey down but it was a lost cost. Mickey was going to get you, even if he had to throw you over his shoulder. 'Ian, you can stay in the car or you can walk in whit me, making sure that I don't beat up a fucking kid okay?' He grabbed the steering wheel, his knuckles turning withe as he did. 'Yeah yeah, let's go then.'  The two of them walked up the front door and as they entered everyone looked at them in confusion. Mickey's eyes went over every person in the room but he didn't see you anywhere so he turned to your best friend instead. 'Eliza, where is she?' She didn't say a word only pointed towards the stairs with her finger, almost shaking. She knew you were in big trouble.  Mickey only needed a second to understand what she meant and raced towards the stair, going up two steps at a time. Ian followed, but he first apologized to Eliza for barging in and causing a scene.
Before Brett could take off your dress the door swung wide open. 'What the fuck dude?' Brett asked as he turned his face towards the door. 'Get your shittie little hands off my daughter you piece of shit.' Brett didn't even get the time to stumble out of bed, no. Your dad pulled him towards him by his ankles and then threw him against the wall. 'Dad, no stop!' You screamed as you saw the scene in front of you. 'Dad stop, you are hurting him. Let go of him!' Your dad's eyes were spitting fire. 'Mickey, let go of the fucking kid. Y/n, get your stuff and go wait in the car. Now!' Your papa walked over to your dad and yanked him off of Brett before he could hurt him. 'If I ever see you near my daughter again, you're a dead man. 'Ye- yes.' 'Yes who?' 'Yes Mr. Milkovich'  Your cheeks were burning red as you stormed down the stairs, you couldn't leave the house as quick as possible. What were they thinking? You're a Gallagher-Milkovich, no one will think you're a loser. Bull shit. Whose parents came to drag their kids home from parties? Let alone out of a room right before they were going to get laid? Assholes. You were the mega loser now. President of losertown.  Ian succeded in dragging Mickey downstairs with him, leaving the poor boy in the bedroom. 'You're a dead man walking Greendale.' Mickey yelled over his shoulder as he went with a hand through his black hair.  'Get your ass in the fucking car!' Ian yelled at his husband while he stopped in front of Eliza. 'Honey, I am so sorry for all of this but you know Mickey, y/n is his world and he would do everything for her. I'm so so sorry. Just come over by our place tomorrow okay? I'll make it up to you by making your favourite, homemade pizzas.' He placed a hand on her shoulder while he spoke. 'All good Mr. G, just don't be too harsh on her, please? I begged her to come.' Ian chuckled softly. 'I'll see what I can do.'
The drive home was a silent one. It was a bit scary because you knew that your dad could lash out any second. You did your best to keep your thoughts straight and coherent but the alcohol in your system made it difficult for you to think clearly. 'Dad?' He didn't respond and your papa threw you a soft smile as he turned his head towards you. 'Let's talk when we get home sweety.'  You shifted uncomfortably in your seat at those words. You were going to get grounded until you were thirty, you could feel it. 'Okay.'
There you were, sitting whit tears in your eyes at the kitchen table while your two dads were sitting opposite of you. 'Y/n, we told you no so why did you go?' It was your papa who was speaking while your dead was looking angry at you, arms crossed over his chest. 'I-I was the only one who wasn't going.' A tear slipt down your face as you tried to reason your decision. 'This is bullshit y/n, your papa told you not to go and you went anyway and for what? Some boy?' Your dad snapped at you as he slammed his hand on the table. It made your papa give him an angry look. 'I'm sorry dad, I know that I've been stupid.' You wiped away your tears with the back of your hands.  'He's not just some boy, I-I really like him and he's into me and it was a perfect night until you barged in.' Your dad grabbed his head with both his hands, softly pulling at his hair as he heard your words. Mickey made a vow in his head he was going to hurt any guy that would come close to you. 'Doll, you are sixteen. You have all the time in the world to find a guy that loves you. There is no need to rush it with the first Southsider you see.' You shook your head in disbelief, it wasn't like that you really liked the guy maybe even loved him. 'I love him, dad. It was stupid of me to sneak out after you told me I know but I had to see him.' Tears started welling up in your eyes again, troubling your view. 'Honey, you know how we do things around here. Mutual respect and no secrets. You broke both rules, how do you think we feel now?' It was your papa who said those words and this was worse than them being mad. They were disappointed in you. 'I'm a disappointment, I know.' Your dead reached over the table holding out his hand for you to grab. 'You are not a disappointment y/n. Yes we are disappointed right now but that doesn't mean that you're a disappointment sweetie. You are a great kid and we love you very much.' You slipped your hand in his and he gave you a soft squeeze. Mickey promised himself that he would be better than his father and father-in-law. From the first moment he saw you he promised to keep you safe and make you feel loved and wanted. He was overprotective from the first day, Ian had to step in hundreds of times to make sure that he didn't punch anyone in the face that looked longer than five seconds at you. You were is god damn world. 'No more secrets.' Your dad mumbled as he stroked your hands with his thumbs.
'No more secrets dad.'

You sighed to yourself walking up to the Gallaghers door hoping and praying that Fiona wouldn’t be the one to answer the door. You knocked twice before stepping back from the door pulling a pack of cigarettes out of your pocket lighting one. It felt like you were out there forever till the front door opened and you were met with site of Fiona.
You took a long drag off your cigarette pushing past her letting yourself in, “Before you say anything I’m here for lip.”
She nodded following you into the kitchen, “It’s good to see you.”
You turned to look at her for a split second before turning your head to the side not wanting to meet her gaze.
“I guess you’re not gonna talk to me?”
You sighed turning to look at her, “I have nothing to say, I basically told you all I had to say the last time I was here.”
Fiona chuckled shaking her head, “Can you at least tell me if we’re even still together?”
You stayed silent as you walked over to the ashtray sitting on the kitchen table putting out your cigarette, “You hurt me Fi.”
“I know and I feel shit for what I did and I miss you like crazy,” She said stepping closer to where you were standing fiddling with the hem of your jacket.
“Fi, please don’t make this any harder than it already is,” You said trying your hardest not to give in to the temptation of the woman standing in front of you.
You looked at her for a split second and you wanted nothing more than to kiss her, she looked at you with those big brown eyes wrapping her arms around your neck.
You inhaled deeply taking a step back because you were scared that if you stood there like that with her then whatever were to happen next you wouldn’t be able to help yourself, “You didn’t let me finish.”
You cleared your throat looking down at your hands fiddling with your fingers, “It’s hard enough being here being around you.”
You paused before saying your next words, “It’s taking everything in me to not grab you and kiss you, to take you upstairs to your room and have makeup sex with you.”
“Then why don’t you?” Fiona questioned with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
“Because then I picture Jimmy’s smug face and you kissing him which is what’s keeping me from doing just that.”
Fiona looked like it was taking everything in her not to cry, “Okay. Well are you at least still going to come to Carls birthday thing tonight at the house?”
“I don’t know if that’s a good idea Fiona.”
“He really wanted you there. Look you ain’t gotta go for me just do it for Carl at least. Please?”
You really didn’t want to go because it was really hard being around Fiona. You can’t help, but thinking back to the night she told you her and Jimmy kissed. You wanted to say no or just tell her yes that you still plan on coming then just not show up, but then you started thinking about Carl and how much you really care for that boy.
You inhaled deeply running your hand through your hair, “Okay, I will for Carl.”
Fiona nodded shooting you a soft smile. You stood there awkwardly for a few moments, you were thankful though when you heard foot steps coming down the stairs. You turned your head to see lip.
“Yo,” He announced attempting to throw on a jacket.
You kept your gaze on your shoes trying your hardest keep your cool. Lip went over to the fridge pulling out some orange juice. He looked between the two of you with a raised eye brow.
“You guys all good?” He questioned looking at you then back at Fiona for a response.
“Yeah man,” you said.
Fiona nodded shooting lip a dejected smile.
“So where are you two off to?” She questioned trying to change the subject
“I asked her to help me with this piece of shit bike I got in yesterday. Figured I could use her mechanic knowledge.”
You couldn’t stop looking over at Fiona no matter how hard you tried to keep your eyes on anything else, they always ended up back on her.
“I’ll be outside,” You said abruptly looking over at lip.
He nodded, “I’ll be out there in one sec,” You heard him shout before you closed the back door.
-
“Pass me that wrench,” You said pointing over at the tool box beside you, still keeping your full attention on the mess of a bike in front of you.
Lip did as you said handing you the wrench, “You see what I’m doing here?” You questioned
“Yes boss,” He said with a slight chuckle.
Causing you to chuckle, while flipping him the bird. “Thanks for showing me this stuff. Brads been on my ass about this bike for days.”
“Anytime man,” You said tightening up one of the last screws.
“So you and my sister still on the outs?”
You stopped what you were doing reaching over for the rag next to you wiping off your hands, “Think we’re a little more than on the outs.”
Lip nodded taking the cigarette he had sitting behind his ear before lighting it, “You know she feels like shit for what she did, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her this upset”.
You sighed, “I miss her I do, but I don’t think I can trust her.”
Lip took a long drag off his cigarette, “Look I hate to say this because she is my sister. I know she doesn’t have the best track record with loyalty, but I was there that night. She made him leave and she didn’t take it any further than the kiss.”
You inhaled deeply taking in what Lip said, you knew about Fiona’s past relationship endeavors and she was honest with you about everything, but you didn’t know if you were going to be able to take her back after this.
Lip chuckled bringing you out of your thoughts, “Cat got your tongue?”
You chuckled, “I appreciate what you’re trying to do. This is between me and your sister though.”
He nodded putting out his cigarette, “Just don’t dick her around, if you’re gonna call it quits just do it. It’s driving her crazy not knowing. Shit that’s all I’ve been hearing about for the past week.”
“I got it covered man,” You said patting his shoulder.
“And don’t worry even if things don’t work with your sister and I. You can still come stay with me every weekend champ. We also wanna let you know that we still love you very much,” You joked.
“Funny,” Lip said flipping you the bird.
You laughed going over to the tool box stealing one of Lips cigarettes, “You uh comin to Carls party tonight?” Lip questioned leaning up against the tool box.
“Yeah I guess I am,” You said taking a drag off your cigarette.
“Good.” Lip said.
-
As you and Lip entered the Gallagher house you started to feel a little overwhelmed, because you knew that people were going to ask questions pertaining to you and Fiona’s relationship status.
You took a deep breath only exhaling till you made it halfway into the living room, Where everyone was dancing around with beers in their hands. You were just about to make a beeline for the kitchen, when Debbie stopped you rambling about some girl she’s been seeing.
You chuckled, “Debs I just got here let me grab a beer before you unload your girl drama on me.”
Debbie groaned going over to the couch where Franny was sitting picking her up. You watched her as she disappeared up the stairs a little relieved to not have to play gay therapist.
You made your way into the kitchen grabbing one of the beers from the box off the counter twisting the cap off and tossing it to the side. You leaned up against the counter watching everyone dance around. You scanned the living room your eyes landing on Fiona, you smiled to yourself when you saw what she was wearing.
She had on a long sleeved V neck showing off a lot of cleavage and those damn leather shorts she knew you loved. You were almost positive she was wearing them to get your attention. You watched as her and V danced to some pop song you didn’t recognize, you couldn’t take your eyes off her you let your eyes travel down her body.
You wanted nothing more than to pin her up against the wall and mark her neck with hickeys. You set your beer down about to give in to the temptation, or at least you were until you heard someone clear their throat beside you.
You turned your head to see Carl, you smiled at him relieved, “Sup birthday boy.”
“Sup,” He said giving you a fist bump.
“You get the gun I asked you for?” He questioned almost causing you to spit out your beer.
“Dude your sister would kill me.”
He sighed, “I’m seventeen, she’s always got a stick up her ass.”
You chuckled passing the boy a beer, “Not a gun, but it’s something.”
He twisted the top off clanking his beer bottle against yours, leaning beside you on the counter. You let your eyes wander back to the brunette you cannot seem to get off your mind. She was still dancing with V laughing at something crazy the woman probably said.
“You and Fiona back together?” Carl spoke up.
You jumped a little forgetting that the boy had been standing beside you. “Uh no it’s kind of complicated.”
He nodded, “Do you still love her?”
You turned to look at Carl shocked to be having this conversation with the boy. You remembered when he was just a little kid running around terrorizing neighborhood animals and lighting things on fire, but he wasn’t that little boy anymore.
“Of course I do, things are just rough right now.”
“The thing with Jimmy?” He questioned chucking a little.
“Yeah the thing with Jimmy.” You said the man’s name leaving a bitter taste in your mouth.
“One thing you gotta understand Jimmy is like a roach. You think he’s gone, but he always comes back and he’s hard to get rid of. Fiona loves you though and she fucked up there’s no denying that, but I really think you should talk to her. Let her know where you guys stand because it’s really eating her up. Plus it would suck to not have you around.” Carl said taking a quick swig out of his beer.
You smiled at the boy ruffling his hair, “Where’d all this wisdom come from?”
He swatted your hand away rolling his eyes, “Growin up in this house you learn a thing or two.”
You chuckled wrapping your arm around the boy.
“So since I possibly helped fix things with you and my sister?” The boy questioned.
“I’m not getting you a gun dude.” You said before he could even finish his sentence.
The younger Gallagher smacked his lips wiggling his way outta your grasp, “You guys fuckin suck.”
You shook your head as you watched the boy disappear back into the sea of people in the living room.
You stood there still debating on whether or not to go talk to Fiona. After about two more beers, and a shot you eventually worked up enough courage to go talk to her.
She was still standing with V her back turned. You inhaled deeply as you approached her. V looked at you then at Fiona causing the woman to turn around. Her eyes went wide when she saw you, almost like she was in shock.
“Hey,” Was the only thing you could think to say.
“Hey,” She said nervously.
“Can we talk?” You questioned.
“Outside?”
You nodded while following behind her.
The two of you stepped out back shutting the door behind you. You sat down on the steps as you turned to look at Fiona who followed your lead.
“You came.” She said breaking the awkward tension that was very noticeable.
“Told you I wouldn’t miss it,” You said keeping your gaze on your shoes.
“Guess you thought I’d bale?”
She chuckled, “I had my doubts.”
Before you knew it the awkward silence was back. You looked over at the woman for a split second before averting your gaze back to the ground. Your eyes landing on a twig, you picked it up tossing it into the distance.
“Look if you’re not gonna talk I’m going back inside,” Fiona spoke up lifting herself up off the steps.
“I love you, Ya know?” you said barely above a whisper.
Fiona froze, “I love you too.”
“Then why? Why did you kiss Jimmy, I thought this shit with him was over?”
“I don’t know,” She said running her hands through her hair.
“What do you mean you don’t know?” You said trying your hardest not to raise your voice.
“We have history. Okay?”
You shook your head trying really hard to control your temper, “Fi I have loved you from the moment I met you. I’ve been there through majority of your past relationships, Jimmy’s a dick, I don’t know why you always fall for his shit. Am I just not enough?”
“You’re more than enough.”
You stood up getting off the porch, you reached into your pocket pulling out a cigarette from your pack. You inhaled deeply then exhaled watching the smoke dissipate. Fiona stood up making her way over to where you were standing.
“I know I fucked up, but I don’t wanna lose you. You’re the only good thing I got goin in my life right now.”
You took another drag off your cigarette turning to look at her, you felt her icy hand rest on your cheek as she looked at you with those damn big brown eyes that have always been your weakness.
You grabbed both of her hands, “Your hands are freezing.”
“Everything on me is freezing right now,” She said moving her hands from yours. You felt her hands slide into your jacket pocket’s causing your breath to hitch as you realized just how close the two of you were.
“Fi,” You said as the gap between the two of you was on the verge of closing.
“Hmm?” She hummed.
“We shouldn’t,” You said as her lips grazed yours causing your brain to go into over drive.
Before you knew it your lips were on hers, you wrapped your hands around her hips pulling her closer. Her hands made there way to the button on your jeans.
You pulled away abruptly, “I can’t.”
She looked at you confused, “Why not?”
“Because I’d be doing the one thing I promised myself I wouldn’t.”
Fiona shook her head, “I’m going back inside and you know what? You can take your ass home. I’m done trying to show you that I really do love you and that I really do care about you. I’m trying to be a different person, I’m trying not to fuck things up with the one person who has actually been honest with me, that’s actually treated me like I matter.”
“Guess I fucked that up though.” Fiona mumbled turning around.
You stood there as you watched her make it up the first step, too busy battling with yourself to even try and stop her. You took one last drag off your cigarette discarding it onto the ground. Your eyes were still on Fiona, you watched as she made her way up the fourth step stopping in her tracks, she turned to look at you tears streaming down her face.
It made your heart ache and for spilt second nothing else mattered. Jimmy’s smug face didn’t matter, you telling yourself not give in didn’t matter. The only thing that mattered right now was Fiona.
“Damn it,” You mumbled jogging over to the porch.
As you made it to the fourth step Fiona threw her arms around your neck, you let your hands find their way to her waist.
“I really do love you,” Fiona whimpered.
“I know and I love you too.”
Fiona pulled away to look at you as you brought your thumb to her cheek wiping the tears that fell, before bringing your lips to her forehead.
“Does this mean we’re still together?” Fiona spoke up her tone slightly uncertain, but hopeful.
You took a deep breath bringing your hands back to her waist. A small smile creeping onto your lips as you looked at the woman in front of you.
“Yeah I guess it does.”
-
You awoke the next morning to the sunlight shining through the window practically blinding you, you yawned looking around the room that definitely wasn’t yours. Memories of the night before flashed through your mind.
You rolled over only to be inches away from Fiona’s face. You smiled to yourself as you listened to the sound of her light snoring bringing back a sense of comfort that you didn’t realize you needed. You brought your hand to her face moving some of her hair behind her ear causing her to stir around.
“Stop staring,” Fiona said her voice a little raspy.
“I can’t help it, I forgot just how hot you look in the morning.” You chuckled wrapping your arms around her waist.
She groaned bringing her head to rest on your chest, “You know as much as I’d love a round three, I’m still pretty exhausted from the other two rounds from last night.”
“Ah giving up are we, thought Gallaghers didn’t give up?” You joked causing Fiona to giggle.
“We don’t.” She yawned.
You chuckled bringing your lips to the crown of her head, “I love you.”
Fiona moved her head to look at you with a soft smile, “I love you too.”
You brought your hand to Fiona’s cheek running your thumb across her bottom lip, completely mesmerized by just how beautiful the woman truly looked in the morning, even with bed head and bags under her eyes she still looked like a dream.
You couldn’t even deny that you missed mornings like this because to you and Fiona nothing else mattered. It was just the two of you too wrapped up in your own little bubble to care about anything else.
“You don’t know how much I missed this, how much I missed us.” Fiona spoke up her voice filling the silence in the room.
Instead of saying anything you leaned in till your lips connected with hers. The kiss was slow, but passionate although it did begin to escalate from there. Before you knew it you were on top of Fiona as your lips trailed down her neck, you were half way under the covers when you felt Fiona’s body jolt.
“Damn it Carl!” She yelled angrily.
You took that as a sign to throw yourself on the other side of the bed making your way out from under the covers. You looked over at the boy who was standing in the door way with a smirk on his face.
“Dude knock next time,” Fiona sighed running her hand through her hair.
“This mean you guys are back together?” Carl chuckled which only irritated Fiona more.
“What do you want?” Fiona snapped.
“Frank’s in the kitchen trying to clean himself in the sink again,” his smiling fading to a look of disgust.
Fiona groaned, “You guys can’t deal with it?”
Carl shrugged before walking off.
You chuckled watching as Fiona stood up picking your black polo jacket up off the floor throwing it on.
“Fuckin Gallaghers,” she mumbled.
You shook your head as Fiona tossed you your t shirt, “Man I missed gettin cock blocked by your family.”
Fiona huffed looking over at you with a sour look on her face as she attempted to get her sweats on, “Meet you downstairs?”
“Yes ma’am,” you said bringing two fingers to your forehead saluting her.
Fiona rolled her eyes letting out a slight chuckle, “You’re such a fuckin dork.”
“But I’m your dork!” You shouted as the girl made her way out of the room flipping you the bird.
-
As you made your way down stairs you couldn’t help, but smile at the familiar sound of the Gallaghers bickering. That was one thing you never thought you’d miss, you made your way into the kitchen adjusting your jeans.
“There’s the woman of the hour!” Ian was the first to greet you lifting up his coffee cup like it was a beer.
You chuckled attempting to make your way over to the coffee pot as you watched Fiona swat Frank with a news paper.
“So I guess you two made up?” You turned your head to see Lip who was coming down the stairs with a cigarette dangling between his lips.
You were about to answer the man until Carl beat you to it, “I heard them fuckin makin up all night last night.”
You nearly spit out your coffee at the boys comment.
“Yeah you guys are loud,” Debbie chimed in picking up Franny sitting her at the kitchen table.
“Alright enough,” Fiona said walking over to where you were standing as you pulled her into your side.
“Don’t you guys got somewhere to be?”
“Why got some more makin up to do?” Carl joked causing the other Gallaghers to burst into a fit of laughter.
“Bet you didn’t miss this?” Fiona said gesturing to all the chaos going on around you.
You turned your head to look at the woman, “Believe or not I actually did.”
Fiona chuckled shaking your her head, “How did I get so lucky?”
“I’m the lucky one,” You said pulling her closer to you kissing the crown of her head.
In that moment you felt like you were home because to you Fiona was your home and you were hers.

Hi there! I got a request for Lip, if you don't mind 🥺
Reader is friends with either Fiona or Ian (she's the same age as Lip though), and one evening, she's dragged to the house for dinner (she's also very shy, very), so they meet and he just can't help but flirt constantly to make her blush and stutter.
And maybe later on, he hears her talking to Fiona/Ian about it, saying something like not keeping her hopes up because she can't believe he could actually like her ("no one likes the shy girl" kinda thing, I had that said to me and I need some comfort for it😂).
He basically wants to prove to her that he actually likes her. Maybe he already noticed her st school or something.
Have a good day, hun 🤘
of course!! glad to provide some comfort <3 i was the same way all from like elementary to high school so i get it! have a great day, too, thanks for the request <3
ages are pretty inconsistent in the show, but i think in season 3 he's like 18? i don't write characters when they're minors, so the reader and lip are both 18 years old and they're seniors in this! so this is set in like season 3ish i guess.

Ian and Y/N walked through the front door of the Gallagher household. Y/N took her shoes off, following Ian to his room where they dropped off their backpacks. Even though they aren't in the same grade, they're still great friends. It started when Ian found Y/N at school one day, trying to hold herself together after being made fun of for her quiet response to a teacher's question that she had to repeat multiple times. It turned out, Ian and Y/N actually had a lot in common, and the rest was history.
Y/N wasn't over at Ian's house often. The loud and chaotic nature of his family was endearing, but she didn't quite feel comfortable enough with the other Gallaghers yet to let her walls down. Not that she was ever as loud or chaotic as the family; she was just on the quieter, shyer side, and the Gallaghers respected that.
Ian had invited Y/N over for dinner, making sure Fiona was aware. Ian and Y/N both helped her with dinner, Y/N smiling quietly to herself as Ian and Fiona laughed and joked together. They set the table, and Fiona yelled up to the rest of the family to come eat.
Frank was god knows where doing god knows what, and Kev and V were busy at the alibi, so it was just Y/N and the Gallagher kids for the night. Debbie and Carl came barreling down the stairs leaving an empty seat between them because the two had recently been arguing. Lip walked down the stairs, Liam in his arms, and helped Liam get into a high chair. He sat between Carl and Debbie, clearly sick of their argument, and sighed. Y/N was stationed between Ian and Fiona, the two she was most comfortable with. Food was distributed and everyone tried to make dinner conversation.
Y/N looked at Debbie politely as she talked about a student counsel project she was working on, trying to plan out how perfect and showstopping it would be. She smiled hearing the girl's plan; it sounded great and she had no doubt Debbie could do it. Glancing towards Lip, she noticed him watching her instead of his younger sister. There's a pause, and Lip grabs her attention.
"You look really pretty today, Y/N," he says genuinely. In response, she blushes and looks towards her lap, mumbling a thank you. Lip opens his mouth, ready to say something else, when Carl pipes up.
"Yeah! You look just like the Barbie I put on the grill earlier!" He exclaims before backtracking. "Well, you look like her before I put her on the grill. And I wouldn't grill you, you're too nice." Y/N smiled and tried not to laugh at the young boy's antics as Fiona lectured him about cruel and unusual punishment. Lip kept staring at Y/N, completely mesmerized by her shy and gentle nature. He was wracking his brain on what to say next; he didn't want to try stupid or sexual pickup lines on her. He wanted to take his time with her. He'd noticed her in his literature class in school, they both sat at the back, but on opposite sides of the room. Ian was about to kick Lip under the table for his weird behavior, knowing Y/N would be uncomfortable, but Fiona beat him to it.
"Lip, it's rude to stare, especially at our guest."
Hearing his name brought him back, and he cleared his throat. "Um, Y/N? You have Mr Harbor for Physics II, right?" he asked, curious.
"Yes, 4th period," she replied quietly. Lip smiled hearing her voice, wanting to hear it more often.
"Oh great! I have him for 6th. Do you wanna come over sometime and study together? We can work through some problems if you want, maybe do some physical experiments-" he's cut off by Carl.
"Gross, Lip, you don't propose sex in front of the family!" he yells. Lip's eyes widen.
"Oh, jesus! No no I wasn't- Y/N that's not what I meant, I- I meant just calculating projectiles with a slingshot or something, not- not THAT!" he tries to explain desperately. He really did just mean doing problems and experiments together. They're both very intelligent people, and Lip thought it was a good proposition for a subtle excuse to get to know her.
"I-it's okay, Lip, n-no worries!" Y/N felt her face and neck flush. she knew he didn't mean sex, but the idea of it made her blush. Of course she'd heard plenty of rumors around school about how good Lip Gallagher was in bed.
The meal was done pretty quickly. The family all got up, Y/N waiting until most of them left to bring her plate to the sink.
"I'll take care of the dishes, Y/N," Lip said, gently placing his hand on the small of her back. She jumped slightly, moving out of the way and nodding, heading upstairs to finish her homework. Ian follows shortly after.
Lip walked up the stairs to grab a cigarette from his desk, but paused as he caught his name.
"-and it's nice to hope for just a second that maybe, just maybe, he likes me, that he cares for me, but he doesn't, Ian! There's no way someone like Lip would ever like someone like me! He's confident and attractive and smart and girls love him! I'm just me. I'm shy and quiet and it takes me forever to warm up to people and nobody likes the shy girl," she sighed sadly. "You don't think he's trying to prank me or something, do you?" she asked Ian. Lip walked away, not realizing she felt this way.
He had to do something. He went back down the stairs, no longer set on his cigarette, rather a way to prove himself to her. He thought hard for a while, realizing it was probably just best to talk her alone. He sighed, thinking of what to say without fucking up.
Lip heard Ian yell goodbye to Y/N, and her footsteps walking towards the front door. He ran towards the front door, trying to be casual.
"Hey, I'll walk you home. Make sure you get home safe," he said, sounding more like he was making a statement rather than offering.
"Oh, um, okay. Let's go then," Y/N replied.
The walk to her house was quiet. Lip didn't know what to say. 'Hey, I've been watching you at school for the past 3 months and I haven't hooked up with anybody since I noticed you because you're all I can think about even though we've barely ever talked'? He knew he needed to say that, he just needed to find a less...aggressive way of saying it.
He walked Y/N to her door, making sure she got it unlocked. He reached out and touched her arm just as she turned to enter her house. She turned to look at him with big eyes.
"Look, Y/N. I, uh, I've noticed you at school a lot over the past couple of months, and I know you're my brother's friend, but I'd really like to get to know you better. I think you're really, really smart and you're pretty, too, and Ian talks about you all the time. You just sound like a great person and I think I have a small crush on you. I know you probably don't feel the same, but if you'd give me a chance, I think we'll get along great and we can get to know each other. Please?" He poured his heart out.
Y/N hesitated, a soft blush rising to her cheeks. "I- okay, Lip. We can get to know each other. I'm just nervous and really shy around people I don't know so I'm sorry-" he cuts her off.
"That's why we'll know each other, 'kay?" he said, gently stroking her upper arm with his thumb.
"Besides, I like shy girls."
