The Mario movie thing is so funny to me. Here, look at this:

ok i've read ryan's interview and not to make everything about eddie's sexuality - but the idea of eddie blowing up his romantic relationships, maybe even getting called out for trying to date a look-alike of his dead wife. that can create some friction. but with the way ryan was talking about eddie's isolation, i think eddie isolates himself after he realizes that his catholic guilt runs deeper - maybe even his realization that he might be queer and in love with buck (let a girlie dream). because the only way eddie would have no one to turn to is if he himself isolates himself. the 118 wouldn't drop him like that, he would be the one to emotionally isolate himself and that can only happen through a realization that puts distance between eddie and buck - namely eddie being in love and backing off because buck is (presumably still) with tommy.

technically Pearl doesn't have to work under a Diamond! Sometimes they just work under those of particularly high authority, but there's examples of pearls in the show other than just the Diamonds'!

Gods I'm thinking about Chris/Clarisse/Silena/Beckendorf polycule so much

Rereading scenes from tlo and why they're much smaller moments, it just feels so much like they were all together-

The way he trails off?? The way Thaila stepped in quickly in a way you see people do to rush things along when someone I obviously upset?

Like, just in general the idea of Clarisse falling in love with two who technically worked for Luke? And who suffered from that? And just- ugh

Chris is also seen with Clarisse comforting Silena after Beckendorf's death. And just the whole time he seems like he's trying to keep it together for all of them.

I know it probably me over-analyzing,but let's be honest that's most of my post hdhdf

Also, just think about Chris having known about Silena, and kept it to himself cause he knew the position she was in.

We see him described as looking "guilty" with Beckendorf's death, and overall just love the idea of Silena and him bounding. Her using her charmspeak to pull him out of panic attacks and him supporting her through dealing with Luke
