Rant Warning

I rlly can not wrap my head around the idea that Bayo ends up with Luka, like who says when I think of Bayonetta, I think marriage to the ugly nerd who stalked her! Better yet, she has a kid with him! What?? I didn’t expect Jeanne and B to kiss or anything, but really? I hate it when media does this, you have these two same-sex characters whose relationship grows over time from bitter rivals (already romantically charged) to friends and allies who fight together, and in Bayo 2 for each other, literally going to hell for the other, like c’mon. But then the male side character who again stalks, belittles, gets in the way of, frustrates/acts as comedic relief to and sexualizes the heroine ends up with her? It’s like why Raven and Kat are such a great ship in the Gravity Rush series, they go from bitter rivals/enemies, to allies, to friends and they develop a genuine friendship, and eventual deep love for eahcother (romantic or not). It’s like if you took that, and then had Kat end up with Syd in the end, a side character who belittles/argues with and sexualizes her who she is regularly seen being annoyed with, like c’mon that does not equal romantic connection. And more importantly, Raven is right there!! In conclusion, I hate heteronormative storytelling, let characters be gay/bi. 

*Edit: I didn’t mean any kind of bi-erasure here, sry abt that, I read Bayo as bi I mostly just dislike Luka as her romantic partner, it feels very forced, also if the Bayo in this game is Cereza from the the earlier games... that’s not rlly btr in my opinion, the child Cereza Luka babysits in the first game? Date Schemes - MLB Mini Fanfic

After Marinette & Luka and Adrien & Kagami broke up, Luka and Kagami tried to set Marinette and Adrien up after realizing the two were in love with each other. But plans after plans flopped with Marinette and Adrien being awkward and not going anywhere. Too many fails forced the two to join band with Alya and Nino before finally giving up, but Marinette and Adrien had plans of their own. Knowing their feelings were reciprocated, they were still young and wanted to explore themselves and their sexualities. 

After figuring out the date that was being schemed to action, they set up a plan to go on the date but instead of going together, Marinette drags Kagami with her and Adrien drags Luka in the opposite direction leaving the two extremely confused. Kagami realized what was happening and went along with it, having fun and letting her own feelings blossom. Unlike Marinette, Kagami already knew she was bi, but because of her upbringing, she was never free to express that side of herself.  She was happy that Marinette was taking charge to figure herself out and that she got to be her first girl kiss, after all, Kagami did have a crush on her ever since they became friends. She always felt at ease and that she could be herself around her and she was sure that Adrien felt the same way. Feeling free and full of love, Kagami never smiled so big and so much in her life as she danced with a beautiful girl in pigtails.

Luka had to catch his breath once they had stopped running. Kagami was probably upset about how things turned out, supposing that things might not just work out between Adrien and Marinette until they get it together. It wasn’t until Luka looked up and all of his thoughts came to a halt and a small blush crept onto his cheeks - Adrien was wearing a dress and he looked damn good in it too! 

Adrien had the cutest smile that made any heart stop and swoon as he lead Luka to the park where a picnic was set up. As they sat, Luka finally realized what was going on and went along with it. He had always thought Adrien was cute but never let his mind go further knowing Marinette had the biggest crush on him. But as he looked at Adrien again, he finally sees what was really going on. They were figuring themselves out. They were still young after all. 

They had loads of fun, eating yummy snacks and ice-cream. Sang song as they strolled along the Seine. Picked flowers and made flower crowns for themselves and the girls. Snuggled as they cloud gazed. But most of all, they shared a sweet and tender kiss, a memory that would stick with them for a lifetime. 

Music was heard close by and they joined in the fun and danced. Luka twirled Adrien a few times in his dress, mesmerized by his beauty and as if on cue, they heard the laughter of two familiar girls. Once they spotted each other they all laughed, telling each other about their dates and grouped together in one last dance before heading home. From that day on, their relationship would change forever.
