Leo has been the leader since day one
Alright, I haven't seen this conversation yet, but I can't be the only one who's noticed this. This isn't my usual post- not that I post often- but art is WIP.
~aannnnyyway~
Leo has been the (back seat) leader of the Mad Dogs since day one.
Mobile users, RIP no seriously, you are digging your own grave
In the first two episodes he shows his potential, he thinks ahead, guides the team, makes astute observations, shows his knowledge of his team (including himself), and makes his own plans (even if Raph has made a plan, he almost always has his own).
I'll go through the first two episodes chronologically.
First is Mystic Mayhem.
Tumblr media
-This is a good example of understanding himself-
Leo: So . . . You guys from Jersey?
Mikey: Really Leo?
Leo: What? I can't make a joke in the middle of the craziest thing ever? That's how I cope.
Tumblr media
-Leo stops his brothers and forces them to think ahead-
Mikey: Should we just ask him for it?
Leo: And what do we say when he asks us why we want it? That we need to go after our best friend, who disappeared into a wall after our priceless weapons were destroyed by mystical jogger guys?
Tumblr media
-Not only is Leo showing how well he knows his dad, he executes his own plan when Raph's first plan fails, without asking his brothers first-
Raph: How'd you get that?
Leo: You know he always passes out after milk and cake.
Tumblr media
-Now, this example is a debatable one, yes it shows his understanding of Raph, but it may also just be to shown to establish relationships in general since this was the first episode-
Donnie: A few hours ago I would have called this foolish and impossible. Now I just call it foolish.
Mikey: Say what you want Donnie. Raph'll pull is off 'cause if he doesn't, we'll loose our best friend forever.
Leo: Mikey, don't say that. You know he chokes under pressure.
Donnie: Leo, he's even more self-conscious when you talk about it.
Tumblr media
-Here, while happy to see April again, he keeps the team on the task that got them in the hidden city in the first place. It can be argued if this was on purpose or not; but it still showcases his natural ability to lead-
Donnie: According to my calculations, we are in a tertiary-metaverse.
April: Actually, I've been doing some exploring, and we're in a hidden city deep under New York!
Leo: So where's the dog thingy?
Tumblr media
-There are even subtle moments where Leo takes the lead; after Donnie takes out Draxum's robot with his tech, Leo is the only one talking to Draxum directly for the team. This is another debatable example, you could say Leo is just being the face man here, but I'd like to include it-
Draxum: Accidently impressive. With a little bit of training you can be formidable as I hoped.
Leo: Okay, well, great, and since you're surrendering. . .
Draxum: Baron Draxum does not surrender.
Leo: Okay, well, when he gets here we'll deal with him. . . oh, ho, ho, I see. You're doing that whole "sinister talking in the third person" thing.
Tumblr media
-Here, he is the only one to once again question Raph's decision, and present his own idea instead-
Raph: We just defeated a boss villain. We're heroes. We deserve a name like Mad Dogs.
Leo: Mad dogs? You don't think something like Mutant Ninja Turtle Teens or. . .I don't know. Maybe - we'll keep brain storming.
The very next episode has soooo many parallels to the movie.
Origami Tsunami.
The dialog is long on this one and, despite the humor, throughout this scene Leo guides his brothers to the best mission for their skill level.
Tumblr media
Mikey: Yo, Leo, we're gonna be heroes!
Leo: Okay, what's the plan? Solve the city's rat problem?
Splinter: Hey now. I am standing right here.
Raph: Pfft, no way. We're crime fighters!
Donnie: Okay, check this out. The Spine Breaking Bandit!
Raph: Yeah. Go big or go home!
Leo: Yeah, go home in a stretcher. What else you got?
Donnie: Hmm, well this one's kind of lame. Someone stole paper from a delivery truck.
Leo: Not on my watch! This is exactly the kind of junior level mischief we can put an end to.
Tumblr media
-Leo then hypes his brothers up for this mission-
Raph: Really? That'll make us heroes? But it's only paper.
Leo: It's only paper. I'm so sorry. Donnie, what did he say? Did he say it's only paper?
Donnie: Yup.
Leo: Did he say it's only paper?
Donnie: Yes, he did.
Leo: Okay! That's what they all say. You think the road to hero town is paved in real crime? No! It's paved with the tears of the poor paper man. And who helps that guy? I'll tell you who; we are who!
Raph, Mikey, and Donnie: Yes!
Tumblr media
-When Raph's first plan fails, and he sees how discouraged his brothers get...-
Donnie: Uh, quick question. Did we seriously get schooled by paper thieves?
Raph: I didn't swoop like a boss. I swoop like a noob.
Mikey: Man, this seemed like a really cool idea until we didn't succeed at it.
Tumblr media
-...so, Leo gives a "hero" speech, like he does in the movie. Although this motiving speech needs some help, he still tries-
Leo: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Where'd my brothers go? Mikey, where's your. . .legendary optimism? Raph, where's your, ya know, your go-getter attitude? And Donnie, where's your. . . your thing, your - emotionless passion?
Donnie: Here.
Leo: We can still catch these lame old paper crooks and be heroes!
Tumblr media
-In continuing this scene, we see the Leo make and execute his own plan, now that Raph's impulsive plan has failed-
Donnie: Yeah, that's gonna be hard. This was the last paper store in town.
Leo: Hmm. . . or was it?
Donnie: Yeah, I. . .I literally just said that.
Tumblr media
-Again he takes the lead talking to the foot clan first (could just be that he's a face man here, but nonetheless)-
Leo: Okay twerp. . . and surprisingly big man. It's four against two. So what you say we just call it a day, right?
Tumblr media
-Leo uses his observations to guide the team, here when the foot are making their origami soldiers, Leo realizes taking out the paper ninjas isn't a solution-
Leo: We're getting no where fighting these guys. We gotta take out the source.
Tumblr media
-After Raph ~properly~ uses his ninpo for the first time, Leo again uses his surroundings to find a solution, in doing so he shows both guiding his team, and astute observations-
Leo: Hm. Mikey, the sprinklers!
-Even at the end of the second episode, they look to Leo for reassurance and support-
Mikey: So. . .does this count as a win?
Leo: Well, I don't know. Let's think about it. Did the bad guys get their big supply of paper? Uh, no. Did they build their army of soilders? No. No they didn't. Are they otherwise Thwarted, and we unscathed?
Raph, Donnie, and Mikey: Yes!
Leo: Hero mission accomplished, my friends!
Alright.
First off, if you've made it this far, thanks for attending my not even close to life changing ted talk. I hope you have enjoyed my rant.
In conclusion,
Leo has the potential to lead, just prefers to do as little work as possible. He almost always passes resonsibility onto someone else, however when he has no other choice but to lead he does it well without realizing it. There are many other subtle examples sprinkled throughout season 1 and 2.
I have more thoughts on this, but this post is already the height of the empire state building.
Class Dismissed.

Is the person who made a meme about your shared disability that you don't relate to "a faker who is making light of your disability", or someone with a different experience who uses humor to cope?
Is the person who made an aesthetic board about hospitals an abled person who doesn't recognize that hospitals can be sources of medical trauma, or someone using art to deal with their own medical trauma, or any other number of things that aren't about being careless about trauma?
Is the person who makes the seemingly cringiest instagram #sickcore posts about anything from their mobility aids to their eye bags "romanticizing and/or fetishizing" disability, or are they a disabled person coping with extremely debilitating and potentially dangerous or terminal symptoms by radically accepting them?
I know normally I do focus on ableism as a whole, by trying to tie in online attitudes to very real IRL oppression as well as by generally talking about a variety of examples of ableism both on and offline. (It is the nature of a social media blog that at least a significant portion of what we address will be responses to other users of this platform, though.)
This is a much more purely online issue than most... but it still affects real people. The cruelty and bullying over how people cope with their disabilities is still being done to, hurting, and in some cases traumatizing, real people.
I've been lucky enough to avoid this online at least (though not as much IRL, ironically, though it manifests in a slightly different way obviously). But... I'm one of those people that copes in "cringe" ways that focus on the "aesthetics" of my disabilities or use humor to cope or even, horror, romanticize my own intensely personal experience of my own specific disabilities because looking at it through rose colored glasses hides the fucking bloodstains for a few minutes.
Which is a metaphor to simply say that viewing my own hardships and struggles as positive in a twisted way as a personal choice helps me get through the fact that they ARE intense hardships and struggles.
We reblogged a post earlier today that we have since taken down. We (attempt to) refuse to platform people who are ableist against any kind of disabled people if we are aware of it on principle, other than to shut down said ableism if we feel it outweighs the added reach given to them by our platform. But - the point of this post was good. The point of this post was about having a complex relationship with disabilities and that however you feel personally about your disabilities is okay.
This doesn't just extend to palatable feelings, like being sad about loss of function or proud to have a disability it's considered "acceptable" to be proud of. It doesn't just extend to feelings that make sense, such as wishing you could get rid of a disability you despise that has only horrific symptoms, or not wanting to get rid of a disability that is well-accommodated and an important part of your identity.
It's also about wishing you could not be disabled in a way that most people with said disability seem to be proud of, and even that you may be proud of but still wish not to be. It's about not wanting to get rid of a disability even though you hate having it. It's about being proud of having unpalatable disabilities and being fine with loss of function and also, I think perhaps more than any of this...
It's about expressing any feelings about your own experience with your disability whatsoever without judgment. It's about when you talk about or show or otherwise share your feelings in any form, and how you cope, and how you celebrate, and where you grieve and where you find joy and where those two are the same thing, that all of that is not just okay but extremely good and important.
(Obvious disclaimer that this does not extend to talking shit or being ableist about OTHER people's disabilities or experiences with a shared diagnosis/disorder/condition, in case my specific phrasing of "your own experience with your disability" gets lost in my hyperverbality.)
I think really, my whole point is, you DON'T have psychic access to other people's brains. You DON'T know that people expressing their relationship with disability in ways you don't like is malicious bad acting rather than just a different experience than yours. And quite frankly, basic class solidarity demands that no matter how annoying you might find other disabled people, you at least owe them the benefit of the doubt.
Let people post stuff about disability that is humorous, or aesthetic-focused, or even which looks at their own struggles through a positive lens (yes, even if it is somewhat reductive).
These aren't claiming to be education posts, and we are not responsible for any ableist assumptions on the part of abled people. Just like you are not responsible for correcting them if their takeaway is that an extremely distressing and dysfunction-causing disability (of any kind) is just "quirky" or "not that bad" or even "desirable", neither are the people making the posts responsible for accounting for the assumptions of ignorant people who aren't bothering to learn.
But if it really bothers you that much, a more productive use of your time than harassing other disabled people would literally be just reblogging education posts, even if you can't make your own.
And, of course, it goes without saying that taking it a step further and fakeclaiming people because you don't like how they handle being disabled is just blatant ableism. Finding someone personally annoying does not make them not disabled. Hell, someone actively being harmful and bigoted doesn't make them not disabled, as disabled people who fakeclaim prove.
Anyway, I'm off to some disabled aesthetic tags because my physical AND mental disabilities are kicking our fucking ass right now, and I could use the comfort of seeing other sick people finding our shared experiences of sickness beautiful and worthy of art in any way at all. But I'll leave you with: in a world where our narratives are largely limited to inspiration porn and tragedy porn, is it really so weird or terrible to post on social media in a way that says "yeah, this sucks, but because it's about my disabled experiences it's beautiful and worthy of seeing in a positive light"? Is that not also a form of radical defiance?

Hi!
If this is not too much to ask... Could you please do Light and L with suicidal s/o? Maybe even platonic one with Ryuk :)
(gender neutral or male pronouns)
Thank you! Have a nice day.
Disclaimer: The words of the fictional men are not to be heeded. For the sake of being in character they will suck to the degree that I believe that they’d suck, but they do for sure suck. If you are someone who is going through a hard time mentally, please talk to someone who can actually help you and do not listen to an antisocial gate kid, a mass murderer, and a death god for advice, please and thank you.
TW: Suicidal thoughts/actions. If anyone knows how to do community tags on mobile, please let me know.
If you are just coming to L with this information, his first response is confusion. Why are you coming to him of all people for help with your mental health? Is this you asking him to kill you? Because he isn’t going to do that; if he’s selfish enough to be in your life he’s selfish enough to not help you end your own life. Will probably refer you to the best psychiatrist he knows (which he will pay for) but will outright refuse to offer advice because his coping mechanism is to just work until he is physically incapable of thinking about it and that is not the appropriate response to that. If you refuse psychiatric help all he can really do is remind you how much you mean to him and that if you need to talk you can; for the sake of your bodily autonomy he’s hardly about to tie you up or anything. If you feel suicidal because of a specific thing he can help, but otherwise he is going to refer you to someone who can actually help you if at all possible.
Light is going to break up with you. You have no business being in a relationship given your mental state and it would be irresponsible of him to keep you in a relationship and to shift focus away from you actually trying to get the help that you need, regardless of whether he cares for you or not. Tells you to call the hotline. Kira is going to ask to marry you because you would be a 10/10 pawn and if you ever disobeyed him your killing your self would be a neat and tidy solution to that problem. He would view suicide as a show of incredible weakness, and as I believe Kira is incapable of love, it just means that using you is that much easier. Would use you for all your worth and then kill you himself.
Ryuk does not care and will say he does not care to your face. If you are a Death Note holder/user he will remind you of the no Heaven/hell stuff but you are not going to be getting any sort of good advice out of him. If you aren’t, he might suggest some fun ways to do it and make a comment about how much life you have left. Will also kill you first, but will be so kind as to kill you in your sleep if it looks like that’s something you’re going to do if he likes you. If you want to cut your human life shorter, that’s your business. Either way, entertainment.

Twitter alternatives (WIP)
Collecting some pros and cons (with sources if I can find them) for various platforms. I'm neurodivergent, this is how I cope with my stress, figured I'd share if it helps anyone! I'm looking for a place that vibes with my values (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled, anti-hate, NSFW friendly, and preferably has boundaries against generative AI stealing art/writing etc.).
I welcome any comments/sources that people have as so many of us are trying to figure this out!! Updating as I find more options/learn more
Tumblr:
My experience: I used Tumblr back before the NSFW ban and am just coming back this year, I find it easy to use and filter content I do and don't want to see. But I struggle to feel a sense of community here (I haven't talked to anyone directly through this platform in the years I have used it, though I do appreciate the silly tags on my art!! keep them coming!)
Pros: As far as I'm aware (I used the site back in the popular days, so I'm just coming back to it): does not use posts for gen AI, does not ban queer/bipoc/disabled content. Many fandoms have a large base here.
Cons: cannot post NSFW, anything vaguely near NSFW can be flagged even if it is not sexual
Twitter:
My experience: I have been on Twitter for about a year, I've found a bunch of mutuals and enjoy interacting with people there. But I can't support the direction M*sk is taking things and don't want to post my art on that platform anymore.
Pros: Large user base/far reach including international, can post NSFW but it can sometimes be limited in the algorithm
Cons: M*sk, shadowbans/bans of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC content, arbitrary bans/flags for NSFW, will use posts for AI, bots, hate speech, and harassment of marginalized groups are getting worse
Discord:
My experience: I've used discord for at least 7 years and use it daily as my primary form of communication with friends (and my husband one room away).
Pros: Large user base, most gamers have it, easy way to communicate on mobile and desktop, fun bot integration
Cons: Hard to find your people, most servers are closed systems that you don't know exist, and being in dozens of servers can be difficult to keep track of/keep up with. Each server is run by a person and could disappear without any notice if they rage quit and delete it, the rules are also up to that person. It makes it hard for artists to get a broader reach unless they have their own userbase from another platform feeding into it. Mentions of using user content (VC?) for AI training. They combined the dev for iOS and Android and the mobile app has been AWFUL since then (constantly says connecting every time I go to the app, often have to close and reopen it to send a message).
Bluesky Social:
My experience: I'm on the waitlist (supposedly? Didn't get an email confirmation and just waiting for the past week).
Pros: Built by the previous CEO of Twitter so in theory knows how to build a platform, lots of people seem to be heading that way if they can get an invite code. There were previous worries about it using content for AI, however as far as I can tell it uses content for tagging/moderation the same way that Tumblr does, and NOT for generative AI, " Bluesky does not own rights to your User Content" (From their TOS). Supposedly allows NSFW but can't find a source on this.
Cons: Waitlist of indeterminate length/hard to get an invite code. As shared in my comments, there have been issues of harassment and racism that are not being moderated properly to protect POC users. There have been issues of racist slurs being used in usernames, which in theory got patched out with code, but took a while for them to respond, which does not bose well.
Misskey.io:
My experience: Seeing a few mutuals go over to Misskey.io, I have only clicked on a couple of their posts to see what the platform looks like.
Notes: Uncertain about much about the platform. A lot of the posts are in Japanese (and I'm rusty reading kanji!)
Cons: There are mentions of being Anti-LGBTQ+ or at least not wanting people to post LGBTQ+ content there (1, 2, 3).
Mastodon:
My experience: I don't have an account and have only clicked there once for this post, see below
Notes: I have no personal experience with this platform but people online keep mentioning how hard it is to set up and use (even those who work in programming). I just went to the site's explore page from a google search. The first post it showed me was anti-red state/political parties legislating/tracking marginalized groups (ok), but with a picture of Nazi's front and center uncensored or tagged/flagged as far as I can tell (that was a shocking welcome to the site, might have just been my bad luck, not sure what kind of content is usually posted there). My husband who is into following political content says that people looking for that content are more likely to go to Mastodon from the accounts he follows, rather than art/fandom (from his experience).
Threads:
My experience: I do not have Facebook and will not join this platform.
Pros: Lots of people already have Instagram accounts, so it should be easy to join Threads
Cons: They will collect every scrap of data they can on you and sell it. From your purchases, to health, to location, you are the product.
Pillowfort:
My experience: Only seen mutuals talking about it, do not have an account myself
Pros: According to wikipedia: "The website was launched in 2017 and is currently in open beta. As of October 2020, the site had more than 100,000 users. The website is popular among fandoms, the LGBT community, and adult content creators." Allows NSFW content. Looks a lot like Tumblr so should be familiar to use. They have a demo login that allows you to check out what the site looks like before making an account. They say they are "planning" (search for Stance on AI in the FAQs) to prevent bot scraping, however they believe "AI and AI Generated Images are a topic that is much more nuanced than we previously believed" and do not take a firm stance on the topic yet.
Cons: They do not have a mobile app, though it is mentioned in the FAQs as planned. They limit image uploads to 2MB, you have to pay $2.49/month to upload up to 4MB. Anything submitted over 2MB up to 10MB will be resized down to 2MB.
Notes: On the FAQ they mention "In order for Pillowfort to remain online we need money to cover our various expenses such as hosting & data fees, staff compensation, etc. We do not receive any funding from corporate investors or venture capital because we are committed to keeping our user experience a priority." For better or worse, it is not run by a large company, they mention working on getting volunteers for moderation, the site feels like a work in progress.
Spill:
Notes: Having trouble finding details on this one, don't know anyone personally on it to ask.
Pros: Black owned
Cons: Currently a waitlist, not sure how long the wait is

Howl Pendragon, Touya Todoroki, Natsuo Todoroki, Toshinori Yagi
I'm writing this at 4:21 in the morning i haven't slept in 34 hours
Here are some headcanons i have for some of my favorite fictional men.
Howl Pendragon
He really enjoys peaches even if they aren't native to Wales. He will have them imported for both himself and for any lady he has his eyes on.
He knows how to sing, however he doesn't believe he can equate his singing skills with his physical features so he doesn't focus on that
He is incredibly stingy with skincare routines. He invented skincare. I mean he takes care of every pimple, clears every pore, clears dead skin and makes his face smooth as a child
He is around 25 but as a child he was mistaken to be two years older and skipped two birthdays by accident.
He loves to read confusing poems and daydream about who they were written for, if written for anyone.
Touya Todoroki/Dabi
He hates all seafood not just fish. everything but scallops, which can be hard to get
he suffers from old man cramps™ in his knees and back, resulting in him debating to get a walker or mobility aid
hes too proud to admit when he is injured, and fell into the stigma that a, men dont cry and b, if men cry it means that they are weak and undeserving of praise.
He eats mostly with his canines. His front teeth are too sensitive for him to enjoy eating with again, so stabbing, tearing and ripping are done by his canines and molars.
He is actually very pleasant to be around when he isnt spewing about being a failed project of endeavor and wishing to hold the ashes of his father's eyeball or some gross body part
Natsuo Todoroki
He is a sweet guy, and helps with homework more often than not.
He prefers his older sibling Fuyumi over anyone else in the family, and sees her as a confidant, not just a sister or another person but a confidant.
He plays rugby in the summer and football and swim during the winter, on top of that maintaining a good GPA and family relations. Well maybe not good family relations.
He suffers from very poor anger management issues however he went to therapy after Touya's "death" and found ways to cope with it and heal better.
He can easily eat himself into a food coma after thousands of calories are simply swallowed like they're nothing.
Toshinori Yagi:
Give him a gift and he will cry. the man is so sensitive in his older years
He really enjoys when people call him toshinori because it measn they dont value him just for all might or his strength, but as a person
He visits memorials of people he feels he failed or has lost over the years and it gives him comfort that they arent in pain anymore. He looked for years to find the past users of One for All and he can spend hours at their graves to honor them
He cant cook. At all. When he was in america he learned how to grill a mean steak but besides that he cant cook much of anything and along with his stomach being well gone, he usually has smoothies and lighter foods.
He WILL go on tangents about america if you bring that up. He loves teaching his students (sometimes false) things about his experience in america. sometimes he switches over to english when hes recounting things he did and his students have to remind him they dont speak it as well as he does, nor do they know the old man slang he uses in his english

I've been trying harder lately to not be paranoid and assume bad faith in others, so I have chosen to believe that people who post "eww, humans" might not consider how their sentiment impacts people who are already hurting. Frequently, I think they are posting it because of their own bad feelings and struggles, and don't think about how that would make their friends and community feel.
In fact, a lot of the "human bodies are bad" sentiment revolves around how human bodies are impractical (disabled bodies are negative), sex is nasty and genitals are weird (transitioned bodies are negative)...
So, if I may, here are things I think we need more of:
Human positivity, or at least tolerance, especially of the gross and yucky and boring parts
Furries/aliens/robots/etc who love their human partners (and the focus is NOT on how cute or sexy the nonhuman is for doing so). Relationships that are mutual and not a Connecticut Clark joke.
Humans from an alien but not negative perspective
Nonhumanity as not a better but simply alternative experience
and I guess probably this far in you're already thinking "most media is human-positive" but MCU dudes and anime boys are like pugs to me, they can't live.
Characters that live without prosthetics, or get feasible or life-impacting ones, rather than Cool Robot Parts; aesthetics (or sex factor.) should not justify or make up for a disability; a character that makes you think "gee, I wish they would cut my arm off!" is not disability representation. I have experienced people listing Junkrat as proof they could be attracted to me as a mobility aid user.
Humans will not destroy machinery, no robot uprising, but rather they maintain the mutual relationship they've always had (and less of using robots as a stand-in for autism representation. My God.)
Many human women were computers before machines were computers. I just think this is cool and not really explored :(
Top surgery scars that are not like cool perfectly-symmetrical explosions or jagged teeth. Get a tattoo if you want, but a lot of the time scars are raised and shiny, which I rarely see either.
I doubt anyone in the world enjoys their period, but they're frequently pointed to as "proof" that humans aren't worth being. If your periods make you lay down on the floor and want to kill yourself for a week, you seriously should see a doctor if you can. I didn't know until it was way too late that I had other options, because periods are too yucky to candidly discuss and no one told me it wasn't normal.
Testosterone gives you acne. Spironolactone makes you need to pee more. There's a lot of unexpected things like that, and they are not objectively gross or sexy; they're just things that happen, that deserve to be discussed.
Fursuit poodling (having uncovered skin in a partial fursuit). It's not gross, it doesn't 'break the magic'. Fursuiting is sweltering exhausting work, and real humans are inside them, and they deserve to be appreciated.
It can be really hurtful to blithely say that human genitals are disgusting, especially in front of people who may want to one day pursue affirmative surgery. If someone personally doesn't like dongs, I wish they would just say that. Jeez.
Nobody is "better" for having an aversion to human bodies for whatever reason. I understand personally that it can be isolating, especially if those reasons are trauma-related. But turning your sexual attractions into a matter of you being "better", or a clubhouse, is not really coping with it. Disgust is not a judgment of morals or quality. It's an emotion, and one that can be very hurtful to people who are already getting hurt.
Because nothing is Good or Bad. It just is what it is. Judging people's right to exist and be depicted, based on sex appeal or morality (or god forbid, purity, which I've seen more of recently, somehow completely ignoring the religious abuse connotations) is... messed up.
And to make this post not just me complaining, you can share your creations or ideas that you feel like apply, if you want :)

Chronic Illness Blorbos
So I've been having a lot of issues lately and I cope through fiction best! So I just wanted to highlight some of the characters that have been helping me through this time and let me feel represented. They've also encouraged me to seek help and guidance! Representation is important!!!
Viktor from Arcane;
Tumblr media
Viktor is the most direct on this list. He is a mobility aid user! I really like how organic he feels. He's also an antihero (antivillain?)! I really like a character not having to be morally correct just because they're a minority. I also like the little details in the narrative. Viktor doesn't get a single fight scene in season one, almost everyone else does! Definitely feels similar to how it can be missing out hanging out with your peers. He's also autistic because I say so.
Heart, Mind, & Soul from Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium;
Tumblr media
Ok so I don't know what Mr. Conathan Jash has irl, nor is it my business. But he has discussed how people are allowed to find their own stories, ideas and representation in the album. For example the album isn't necessarily about plurality but that's a valid reading! I also like to think on top of the plurality that Heart, Mind, and Soul are all physically chronically ill as well. I specifically really like the line in The Heart Acoustic "See how it hurts when the sound Begins to ring And you feel it start to rot And you beg for it to stop But you've already dug your lot in the ground".
Hunter Deamonne from The Owl House;

TOH is just a huge metaphor for disability and chronic illness. In the demon realm magic is something you are expected to have, and if you don't you're gonna struggle. Hunter cannot do magic. He uses a staff and Flapjack to be able to do some magic, but cannot do it naturally. Reminds me of a mobility aid! Flapjack is both a mobility aid and an emotional support animal for Hunter. Flap helps with Hunter's PTSD and panic attacks. Hunter is also autistic, fight the wall.

I’m just gonna say it I don’t get why people are so disturbed by wheelchair users. I am just a person in a wheelchair. It is not that big of a deal <3
I feel like I’m especially upsetting for abled people because of who I am, or really how I tend to be perceived. A lot of people have this idea that they couldn’t ever be disabled because disability is for people who are bad. You get what you deserve, if you’re disabled you did something to deserve that, and they’re good people so they wouldn’t ever be disabled! Obviously this is bullshit, but I understand where it comes from. Yeah, it’s scary that your body could kinda quit on you just because it feels like it! That’s terrifying! You want to cope by saying no! Bad things happen to bad people and I’m a good person! But disabled people are not disabled because we’re being punished by the universe and acting like that…I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s incredibly harmful.
However, the way I’m often perceived is as the pitiful little cripple girl stereotype. But that doesn’t work because I’m a happy person. So people see me, the small cute pink happy cripple and they think…what did she do to deserve this? And I think that’s upsetting to them. I think it’s upsetting that I don’t seem like the stereotypical Evil Bad Guy. I think it’s scary that I’m content with my life and I haven’t done anything to “deserve” being in a wheelchair. Because if it can happen to this person who hasn’t done anything wrong, if he’s in a wheelchair, it could happen to you too. It could happen to people you love. It could happen to people who don’t “deserve” it. And that’s scary.
So I’ll just say this…disability is not retribution. It is not a punishment. It is not even a negative thing always. It’s really hard to exist with a disability, but I’m okay with it. I even like being disabled sometimes. My mobility aids are cool and they improve my life! If you’re disabled, it’s not because you did something wrong. You don’t “deserve” it. DISABILITY IS NOT A PUNISHMENT.
And I know it’s terrifying that your body can just say fuck you at any moment. It sucks to think that parts of your body that are integral to your every day life could randomly just…stop working. But if that ever happens, you can be sure the disabled community will be here for you. We watch each other’s backs!

DON'T FAKECLAIM PEOPLE HOLY SHIT
[cw; ableism, fakeclaiming, disabled rage, this is a rant]
Very long, skip to topic -> (1: intro) (2-3: fakeclaiming) (4: publicly disabled?) (5: faking for clout?) (6: self-diagnosis?) (7: misinformation?) (8: outro)
(1) As a person with mental and physical disabilities, the audacity of able bodied people to fakeclaim disabled people will always be infuriating and absolutely absurd to me.
(2) People will tell wheelchair users that still have use of their legs that they are "depriving an actually disabled person of equipment" and that they are giving disabled people a bad name by pretending to be. People use mobility aids for more reasons than just being paralyzed, and I feel like this isnt a hard concept to grasp.
(3) You have no entitlement to know what disability someone has or how they got it. This can be painful and intrusive. This is where I think a lot of people fall short.
(4) "If something causes someone pain, why would they want to share it publicly?" It's literally just the reality of their existence. With a lot of disabilities, getting better isn't an option but learning to live with it is. That means accepting it and moving forward as best you can. Many people struggle daily, it's a huge part of their lives.
(5) "Fakers are exploiting disabilities for clout, you can tell they're doing it for attention." How could you literally ever determine if someone is faking unless they just tell you? And how could you pick out the actual malingerers from people with similar real experiences? Fakeclaiming people is a really good way to make the lives harder of an already marginalized group and to excuse ableism. But I do agree that there are some people who exploit disabilities. Hunting them down on the internet isn't the way to deal with them because it puts actual disabled people at risk.
(6) "They are self-diagnosed, so they can't know if they have (x)." Diagnosis is a long and arduous task that can take literal years and thousands of dollars to accomplish. Again, this is just the way that people exist, often for their entire lives so they may be able to find ways to cope and heal on their own. If they don't need treatment, there isn't any reason to go through the grueling headache that is the diagnosis process. If they realize why they may experience the world differently than others later in life, that's fine. If they don't have access to diagnostic services, funding, or reason be diagnosed, that's also fine. If a label helps them relate to other people and how they experience life, why bother trying to take that from them?
(7) "Fakers spread misinformation about disabilities/disorders." If someone is consistently stating verifiably false facts about a disability they claim to have, that's probably the only time I'd allow myself to be skeptical. Other than that, if they behave predominantly in harmful stereotypes of said disability then I'd be suspicious as well. But that's it. And I'd keep my comments to myself. If someone is claiming to have a disability and they spread no false information, there's no justifiable reason to think they are faking.
(8) In summary, disabled people owe you no explanation for our existence. People say that they go on witch hunts for the sake of disabled people, but it only makes able bodied people more and more suspicious of all of us. I've even seen disabled people participate in the whole "fake disorder cringe" shit. Seriously, why? Fdc doesn't care about you unless they can make you into content.
.
.
(Bonus) "(X) is a lot more common in (group), they can't have that. It's really rare, too. Why weren't they diagnosed as a child?" Fuck you thats why

Hello I just wanted to say this rn, it’s not a art post but I feel like it needs to be said.
Tw:Talks of Bl*nksshipping/Pro shipping and how I do not accept it on this blog. Long rant(kinda)/info/my opinion. Talks of trauma.
TLDR:Bl*nkshippers/pro shippers will be blocked, and I will use basic human respect. Bl*nkshippers/pro shippers do not interact. Bl*nkshippers/proshippers block me on sight please.
This is not my usual kind of post, and unless I deem necessary I will not post this kind of stuff again.(as this is not why I made this blog) I will not make this specific post again(this is a comprehensive review of my opinions and expectations). I will not reblog this specific post again, I will make it easily accessible through this post.
This is pretty in depth so read at your own volition(I have included a TTS website to help. (This post was made with mobile users in mind as I use mobile. Please excuse anything layout wise that may look weird outside of mobile users. I laid this out to the best of my ability in a way that stays on topic and is easy to read and understand.)
——————————start rant/info—————————
I will include a Text to Speech reader right here I use this for school, as I have dyslexia and could not imagine trying to sit through something like this reading it. So if you also have issues with reading such as I do but would like to read this, I have included it to help. Just copy and paste into the text box provided on the site, and press play. Or if it will work you can copy the link too this post and insert it into the Webpage URL reader below the main box.
-What I do not accept on my blog
I am not a Bl*nkshipper or pro shipper, I have seen some of my likes and follows are coming from bl*nkshippers and pro shippers.
I do not accept this on my Tumblr blog, and will block anyone I find out is a Bl*nkshipper. I will treat them with basic human respect(I will never tell anyone to off themselves, or do other bad things that I have seen people say in the past too them), and do not think I should be flamed for doing so as saying and acting that way goes against my core morals and beliefs. But as I treat others with respect, I also expect respect.
I will block without hesitation, and I will not be rude or mean about it. And I expect any Bl*nkshipper to show me the same respect and please DO NOT, and I repeat DO NOT! Interact with this blog. I will only post this specific post this once, I do not want to have to comb through all of my likes and followers blocking any Bl*nkshipper I see, because after this I expect them to not interact with me at all(at least I hope). I tend to follow most people who interact with me, and if I accidently follow a Bl*nkshipper and do not realize, please let me know. If a Bl*nkshipper reads this, and respects me, please block me on sight. As my content and art is not made for you. This is the only post that is.(more info in —reiteration(More in depth concise explained here) below.)
-Info and my understanding
I understand that proshipping can sometimes come from trauma, and is a way for some people to come to terms with their own abuse, this does NOT make this kind of behavior okay. Romanticism of trauma is not okay for so many reasons(not only can it harm one’s self, it can harm others), I am not a mental health professional, please seek help from a mental health professional if this is the case for you. I cannot make them do anything, and will not try to, because I do not have the time or the care enough to.
For anyone who their pro shipping does not come from a warped sense of trauma, and romanticism of such to help cope. Seek help, I cannot make them seek help, and will not try to. I do not have the time or care too make them do so.
Outlet info:(I will include a link too a list of all known suicide prevention hotlines for around the world that I know of here, this is not meant to be rude, this is meant to give someone an avenue to seek help. This is all I will provide for this, and I will not to force or make this choice for them.)
-My big opinion on it.
If you are against pro-shipping/blankshipping, and seek out this content, only to dehumanize and attack these people. You are part of the issue. (This statement does not include those who are protecting themselves from these people(as I do not think that all pro-shippers are good people.), but people should do this in a way that shows human respect.) Me saying that I respect them as humans, but do not wish to be around or interact with them. DOES NOT MEAN I support their actions. And it DOES NOT MEAN I will protect them and keep them safe from any consequences their actions may cause. It DOES mean that I understand that they are human, that they make mistakes, and that they can change. And I will accept them back into my blog and life if they change their ways, and become better, this also includes not having any more content of the such in their blog.
I do not believe that mean ostracism is the fix all for this issue, as it creates a echo chamber, where pro-shippers bounce off one another and make each other worse and create issues. HOWEVER I am only one person and cannot fix this issue on my own and will not try to. And mean ostracism creates and echo chamber of people who harass others. Just as I believe not all proshippers are good people, I also believe not all non proshippers are good people. As we are all flawed. What I am doing in this post is not mean spirited ostracism. It is only keeping myself and my blog safe for myself. As to not trigger myself, or those who enjoy my content.
Trying to force people to change for you, does not work, you will get fight back. People will dig their toes into their own beliefs and fight you on it. There is no winning in this situation. Both parties come out feeling worse than when they went into this. The only way to win is human respect, and understanding.
I do not expect everyone to have the same opinion as me, I will not enforce my beliefs on others, but I do believe my way is the right way, as that is how opinions work. I am open to others opinions(more info in -Post info and options, below) with guidelines.
—reiteration(More in depth concise explained here)
To reiterate, I will never EVER tell anyone that they should off themselves, or that they should d*e. I will NEVER tell anyone anything that goes against what I think is basic human respect, I will treat every person I come across with basic human respect.
I will NOT mis-gender, dehumanize, or insult any person on a personal level. I will not seek out this content and i will not attack these people, and I expect the same respect shown towards me. For them to not seek out my Tumblr and interact with it.
I will block any proshipper/bl*nkshipper I see without hesitation, I do not care who they are I will block and cut contact without hesitation. On this front I treat every person the same and give them the same warning.
there will always be outliers as will be with all cases. There will be people who I believe do not deserve respect, and I will show respect any way because I expect myself to act like how I expect an adult to act and to follow my own beliefs.
I will only open up my blog/content/and friendship if these ways are changed. I do not want an apology, I want change.
And by me seeking out these people and attacking them, would be insinuating that I am above them. And that I am more important than them. And that is something that goes against my morals and beliefs. And as an adult, I expect myself to act like what I believe an adult should act like.
-Post info and options
This rant/info post is a general cover through.
If there is anything in this post that you do not understand, or you have questions or need clarification, you may dm me or leave a comment on this post. And I will amend or answer as needed. I am always open to criticism said in constructive ways.
What I am not open to, is trying to be convinced that Bl*nk shipping or pro shipping is okay. Or trying to convince me to change my core beliefs and morals.
I have tried my absolute best to cover every base I could think of in this topic(I am not a professional and what I say is based on research I have done, and opinions I hold), in the best way I can. I have tried my best to avoid too much Redundancy, but as I am human I will make mistakes.
—————————End of rant/info —————————
Thank you for reading through this, this IS NOT what I will usually post, and unless I deem necessary I will never post something like this again. I want to nip this in the butt before it becomes a issue.
If you feel like this post fits your situation on your tumblr, you may reblog it onto your tumblr so people may see this.
-Respectful regards, Spootie boy.

For men's mental health month, let us talk about things that can help.
Know that there are many support options for you. There are now phone, email, chat, and text lines. There are also forums.
If you do not want to join such a place, try a hobby group. I find that hobby groups are generally nice, and you can distract yourself while making friends.
Try many different destress and coping mechanisms. We are all unique, so different ones work for different people. For me, I pretend to smoke. The breathing technique is very relaxing. (The nicotine, of course, would not be. It is known to increase anxiety.)
When good people ask how you are doing, be honest. It can be very scary to open up, but it can also be rewarding. Start with little things. As you find those are safe to share, you can share more.
Remember that you deserve happiness and peace. You deserve space to talk about your struggles, and to receive hugs and comfort.
If people are abusive to you, feel free to block them or to tell them off. You are allowed to be angry when you are mistreated.
Please know that you are not responsible for abusive men's actions. It is not right or fair for people to blame you for this.
If you feel the need to harm yourself, and none of your coping mechanisms are working, hold an ice cube. This is not very damaging, but it does hurt. It will hopefully abate your desire. My ideal is that you never hurt yourself. I want you to have happiness and peace.
If you own a firearm, have 2 safes. One for ammo, and one for the firearm. Or at least store them in different places. The delay in reaching the firearm gives you extra time to think before using it on yourself. It also prevents unauthorized users from hurting you/themselves.
For non-men:
Ask the men in your life how they are doing. Take time to care for them.
Do not tell them they cannot cry, or that their problems are small. Do not mock.
Use the same tactics we use for all depressed people. Listen, validate, and only offer to help if you will follow through. (It is very damaging to hear, "I will help," and then they do not.) Be realistic about how much you can help. Helping can come in the form of distracting them with fandom/hobbies.
If you are a traumatized person, and you find yourself lashing out at random men, it is your job to avoid them. Do not engage whatsoever. If you need to vent, do it under trigger warnings and a read more. (On tumblr, this is the button with 2 straight lines and a squiggle in the middle. Bottom right on mobile.) Taking your anger out on strangers is not acceptable.
Thank you for reading, and for taking this in good faith. I wish you peace and happiness.

ᜊ( ᜊ ´ ˘)੭ ABOUT ME !!
you can call me creature! i’m a white autistic physically disabled adult, who uses they/them pronouns. i live in the US with my boyfriend! my favorite color is pink and i love kitty cats, plushies, and going on walks. i've had an interest in literature, psychology, and history my whole life! i write poetry as a way to cope with personal feelings about anxiety and childhood trauma.
my last account was a traumacore account, and while i’d like to post my vent poetry/edits on this account too, i want to be more thoughtful with how i present myself this time: as a poet in-recovery and not as a traumacore account. i want to make use of a better tag system (this is below the “read more” button and below my DNI) so that it’s easier to blacklist my triggering tags or find my work. i’m a mobile user and i don’t queue posts, i just go on my phone whenever to post & reblog as much as i want, in any order. sometimes i won’t post at all, as this is a personal blog and not a content machine.
you can message or send me asks whenever! please read my DNI (it’s below the “read more” button) before you interact and don’t take it personally if i block you because i block liberally. while tone indicators are appreciated they are not needed, so you don’t need to worry about color coding your text or using tone indicators when talking to me! i chose to use colored text, bold text, & symbols throughout my “about me” to create a visually pleasing experience for those with difficulty reading long paragraphs.
BYF: i am very vocal with my opinions and i am NOT anti-harassment. if that makes you uncomfortable, block me. i will not be harassing anyone in any online spaces, but if a pedophile finds its way into my inbox i will tell it to die. i do not agree with physical abuse or doxxing, but i will publicly shame adults who are openly abusing online spaces. (more about this is in my DNI.)

📌 NOTE: there are two parts to my DNI. the first part is a growing list of all the terrible people who are NOT allowed to interact and will be blocked and reported on sight and the second part explains why i have no tolerance for the people in my DNI.

‼️ PART 2 ::
📌 NOTE: in case i have not made it clear, i am ANTI pro-shipping and ANTI radical inclusivity. i created my DNI with the intent to exclude everyone who i think is “bad” & everyone i don’t agree with. i do not want to listen to what anyone listed in my DNI has to say and i do not care about their feelings, thoughts, and opinions. yes, this makes me an asshole. that’s okay, i do not mind.
🛑 i am only going to talk about pro-shippers & radical inclusivity (including anti-recovery) in this part. it should be obvious why everyone else is listed in my DNI… & more posts with views against those people will be posted throughout this blog. i’m only talking about this select group of people because they don’t think they’re a problem & think they can ignore people’s DNI.
the reason why my voice is important and valid in pro-shipping and radically inclusive spaces is because i am autistic, and as a minor i was negatively affected by ignorant, neglectful people from those communities, who were (and still are) spreading & perpetuating false information. when these communities were harming me they weren’t known as pro-shippers and radical inclusionists. i only recently learned what pro-shipping was in the past months (although i’d been interacting with pro-shipping content in fandom spaces for years.) & i learned about radical inclusion just four days before i learned about pro-shipping (although i’d been in anti-recovery, pro-endogenics, & MOGAI spaces months or years prior.) & while these communities didn’t have names at the time, they still existed as abusive individuals, mutuals, & friends who all shared the same harmful views. & i shared those views at one point because i believed they weren’t harming anyone & were inclusive views. but the truth is, at their core, pro-shipping & radical inclusivity are ableist, racist, sexist, and abusive movements. to say otherwise is to agree that you want to ignore the problem and refuse to take accountability for your neglect. & this is why:
pro-shipping was the first community i was affected by. i was born in 2003 and the first time i saw the word lesbian was on porn hub in 2010, on my iPhone 3G. before that, i didn’t realize that women could kiss other women let alone fuck them. my first time seeing gay fiction was on wattpad through poorly written scripts or smut (yes, this is my parent’s failure.) & at the time elementary & middle schools had not yet put gay media on their shelves so i learned everything i knew about sex through fan fiction, social media, & google. mental illness & neurodivergency was also a “taboo” topic growing up, and as an undiagnosed autistic (also my parents failure) i found a home in communities on archive of our own that wrote alpha/beta/omega (omegaverse) fiction. i didn’t like ABO for the sexual reason (i was 10), i liked the concept because i liked the idea of pack dynamics (or having a group of friends who are naturally comfortable with physical contact and affection), nesting (or creating a familiar safe space filled with soft things, scents, & toys that no one is allowed to enter until they have my consent), and depending on someone fully capable of supporting me. these 3 things are all vital to my personal happiness as an autist, and i was neglecting that part of my life at the time so i read fiction to cope. while this part of ABO isn’t a “bad thing,” i was still exposed to the sexual & abusive themes of the trope in every fic, like being unable to control raping anyone, as a natural part of biology, or not being treated the same as others because of your birth gender/sex/orientation. so of course i’ve seen pro-fiction from the dead dove: do not eat category, like, “rape/non-con/non-consensual touching/dub-con/dubious consent, somnophilia, necrophilia, sexual violence, yandere/obsessive behavior, erotophonophilia, violence/pain/murder/blood kink, gun play/knife play, cannibalism/self-cannibalism/vore, gang-bang/gang-rape, incest/twincest/selfcest, pedophilia, consensual underage sex, DDLG/CLG/agere/age play, watersports/piss/cum/pregnancy/breeding/inflation/lactation kinks, forced pregnancy/forced loss of pregnancy, slut shaming, public sex/voyeurism, tentacle porn/monster fucking/monster breeding/sex pollen/sex potion, gore/self harm/mutilation/torture, “wound fucking,” suicide, psychological horror, emotional abuse/psychological abuse/manipulation/gaslighting, abusive/manipulative/unhealthy relationships, “whump,” child abuse, forced infantilism, forced feeding, stockholm syndrome, alcohol abuse/drug abuse/underage drink/underage smoking, zoophilia/beastiality…” & i think you get the gist of it by now. some of these terms can be found with “attempted,” “implied/referenced,” or “accidental” in front of them. for example, “attempted rape,” “implied self harm/suicide,” or “accidental voyeurism.” they can also be found with “extremely,” “minor,” & other descriptive terms like, “extremely dubious consent,” “minor non-con themes,” or “slight voyeurism.” if you go to Ao3 and search “dead dove: do not eat,” you’ll find all of this. but basically, this is pro-fiction & all of it is bad. all of it is harmful. fandoms have always been full of people writing abusive fiction & those^ are the terms they use. (it’s foul, isn’t it?) i’ll be honest, i don’t know the origin(s) of ABO (it can’t be anything good) and although people have written properly tagged fics without abusive themes in them there’s still that underlying purpose in every fic of “it’s written to cope with (or the absence of) patriarchal abuse & segregation.” it’s all written by abusers & people who condone & romanticize abuse (also abusers), so you’re often exposed to dead dove: do not eat media wherever you go.
no amount of “comfort” and “fluff” fics will change that, you’re only adding to the problem, convoluting it & making the internet more unsafe. taking abusive fiction/media off of the internet would be a start in making this world safer to raise children. it needs to happen. & if you’re against “problematic fiction” & recognize the problem you need to stop being a pro-shipper, keep your head down & get the fuck out of everyone’s way. stop telling us that pedos aren’t as big of a deal as they are in your communities & that “you’ve got it handled,” because even you recognize them as a problem. and you don’t have it handled. so stop convoluting your messages with false pretenses of “helping us get pedos off of the internet” because really, you’re just making it easier for them to hide. pro-shipping was created by pro-contact paraphiliacs and they are using the term “pro-shipping” or “com-shipping” to generalize and publicize their abuse & maltreatment. (do you not remember MOGII, & pedos trying to join the lgbtq community?) the public, being ignorant, only sees what pro-paraphiliacs are doing on a surface level or doesn’t see them at all.
i should not have to explain why this media is bad. & why i want people to keep their rape fantasies to themselves is self-explanatory. what apparently isn’t “self-explanatory” is that adults are willingly neglectful and that there is a moral issue with ableism affecting us all. & pro-shipping is part of that issue. so i am not going to censor myself for you (but not in the way you think.) if you are against censoring media that openly shows fictional sex, horror, gore, abuse, incest, rape, etc., to children then we are not on the same page. if you think it is not your job as an individual to help censor media that has a negative impact on children, we are not on the same page. as adults it is your job to protect children from harm. no, this doesn’t mean laying a firm hand on them (physical abuse) or telling them what they can and cannot do (mental abuse.) i mean that you must control yourselves and censor yourselves for (your) children. children do not owe you anything. children are a privilege, not a curse, but too many of you are too sex obsessed to care. (& what i mean by the first sentence is that i am not going to censor my hate for your communities. i really think you are stupid, wrong, and need to stop existing.) children are not able to create their own media because they are children. (this means that their brains and bodies aren’t developed enough to make books, movies, & merchandise for themselves.) so, it is the adults job to create safe media and enrichments for children to enjoy. if you create media for children with any intent to add your adult interests to the content, you are a pedophile & you are pushing your adult interests onto children who cannot protect themselves. their parents do not protect them because they are the same as you: a pedophile who only cares about themselves. there is a difference between mentally scarring children and educating them. letting a child view (abusive) porn early is scientifically proven to be damaging to children. sex education must be better taught in school’s and it is up to the adults to make that happen as children are, as i said, incapable of doing that for themselves. if you think you have “the right” to harm children (minors) because they’ve harmed you in the past we are, again, not on the same page. if you weren’t able to grow up and realize that adults are the reason children hurt other children, you are now part of that reason and continue to perpetuate the existence of kids who bully. if you openly show your hatred for children by telling them that they are the reason for all of your pain because they are children, you are not helping the problem, you are helping to create bullying kids. if you think children can be “entitled” you’re the problem, children grow up to be entitled adults, & children are in no way responsible for how they were raised. you do not understand anything about growing up, children, or society and how it works. you are stupid and pathetic. i won’t use the term ignorant to refer to you adults anymore because you are NOT children and therefore should have learned your lesson. you should have came to the realization that adults are the cause of all of your problems, you were never the problem when you were a kid. but you were not able to, so now you are traumatized, abusive, and terminally online. you’re the problem now & i hope you all receive the help you so desperately need. & i hope you stop perpetuating this cycle of harming children and not caring about harming children. but you won’t, so i’ll just have to sit and wait for your age group to die off. that’s the best i can hope for at this point.
the issue with pro-shipping and pro-fiction is that it enables (child) neglect and abuse. & it doesn’t help that the abused were taught it’s okay to keep perpetuating that abuse as a coping mechanism. & it doesn’t help that technology has advanced so far as to give everyone a space to learn about and talk to each other. because ignorant neglectful people created that technology & have access to that technology, and those neglectful people had kids who have access to that technology & more knowledge, who have kids who have access to that technology & even more knowledge. older generations did not have as much access to knowledge as we do now. they did not know much about safety and did not care. they were racist, xenophobic, queerphobic child abusers. they lived through wars & never got over living through wars. they are stuck in conservative, minimalistic ways because that is how they forced themselves to live their whole lives. not only that, the first legal rape case was in the 1970s. people didn’t “know” about rape and if they did they kept quiet about it. people still choose to keep quiet about rape, both the assaulted & the enablers. (i didn’t know that COCSA (child on child sexual assault) was a real thing until i saw it in someone’s traumacore blog bio less than a year ago, and i am a COCSA victim.) the things that people refuse to act on in real life are the things that they refuse act on online. sure, they may notice the problem, but ultimately adults refuse to create safe, non-adult, spaces for kids. they state the problem and expect “god know’s what” to do something about it. nothing is ever done about the neglect & safety issue. & among those neglectful adults are the real pedophiles, rapists, zoophiles, etc., & they’ve all found a home online and will never be able to create safe spaces for children because they are pedophiles. (do you see the problem? people are expecting the abusers to do the work for them, enabling further abuse. it’s all ableism.) these adults are neglectful because they do not care about other lives, how their actions affect life, and will not agree that their actions affect those lives. i’ll break it down for you, it’s as simple as this: writing is an action, thinking is an action, typing words is an action, & consuming media is an action. that is reality. what you are doing is real and cemented in what is real. you can’t be cemented in anything but reality because that’s all there is. if you think anything otherwise, it’s a delusion. fiction affects reality because fiction subconsciously influences who we are & always has. we have no control over that, our brains are very complex and we’re able to learn more than we’ll probably ever be aware of. you are not as in control as you think you are. have you forgotten about book burning or the holocaust or anything regarding the destruction of literature? if you’re anti-censorship you should remember. fiction has always affected reality.
there are mainly three groups of people who exist in pro-shipping & radically inclusive spaces. the first is people who believe the past definition of words or are the past definition of words. this first group includes psychiatrists and old psychiatric definitions of terms and paraphiles, pedophiles, zoophiles, necrophiles, rapists, etc. the second is people who believe the past definition of terms but know that technology and intelligence are advancing, so they’re more open to those definitions changing but not if it’s not on their terms & beliefs, so they create their own definitions under the pretense of advancing technology & societal inclusion. this second group includes radical inclusionists, transableists, chronophiles, pro-shippers, endogenic systems, alter-humans, yanderes & everyone who supports them. the third group is “impressionable young minds,” minors who want to be included so much that they are willing to make-believe anything. adults refuse to create spaces for them, invade their spaces, and then complain about doing it, so these kids are coping as best as they know how, and they’re coping badly. the second and third group always have one thing in common: they are traumatized, abused, & neglected and they use their identity as a coping mechanism, using that reason to negatively cope in online spaces. the first group is often those who abuse, neglect, and traumatize, so even the first two groups stay away from them. there are subsets and offsets of the main 3 groups, & i’m now a subset of the 3rd group, an “ex-pro-shipper” who was abused by pro-fiction adults as a minor & finds pro-shipping so disgusting, they wrote a whole essay about it. call me an anti, fanpol, fancop… idc. i am all of those things. (although i don’t really like being associated with cops. one of my abusers was a cop. i feel like the use of “police” is insensitive.) say whatever you want, i’ve heard it all before. yes i sound whiney and childish but i’m an 18 year-old victim of fandom culture who’s a little pissy after learning that kids are still being openly abused online! so as your “fandom mom’s” say, read & make sure the issue hasn’t already been addressed by the op before you confront them for it, because anti’s have been doing this for years (& have been abused by pro-shippers for years) and we still aren’t going to listen to you because you. are. wrong. & you won’t listen to us because you are brainwashed, traumatized, abusers. pro-shipping will never be an inclusive movement, it preys on those most vulnerable. so much for your “inclusion.” you all need help and therapy! NOT an online space to condone abusive and unhealthy lifestyles.

Severe mood shifts

With countless options of mental health apps available on the market, it is important to choose one best suited to your specific needs. Here are some ways to pick a mental health app beneficial to you:
Recognise your needs
When selecting a mental health app, it is important to understand what you hope to get out of it. Are you hoping for your sleep to improve at night? Are you hoping to have a more positive outlook on life? Do you find that you have been experiencing severe mood swings recently and are unaware of what to do? These are some questions that you could ask yourself before selecting an appropriate mental health app.
Look for scientific research
Science-based mental health apps have been proven to be effective in addressing mental health issues. As such, it is important to pick a legitimate app that will support your needs, instead of falling prey and becoming a victim of untrusted sources.

Protecting your peace of mind starts today
If you often find yourself in a stressful and challenging situation, you’d be reassured knowing that many individuals feel the same way as you. This explains the need for you to constantly protect your peace of mind.
